HEARTBREAKING: You Can’t Watch This Wedding Without Crying

If someone can watch this without tears, they’ve got a heart of stone.

On Sunday, in Plant City, Florida, inside the Big Red Barn, a wedding took place that was simply unlike any other. An eighteen-year-old boy suffering from terminal cancer who only has weeks to live married his high school sweetheart, and there wasn’t a single person there who wasn’t shedding tears.

Dustin Snyder and Sierra Siverio got engaged last Thursday and got married three days later; the wedding was planned in only four days because there was no time to spare. Sierra said, “We did it fast because honestly, we don’t know how much longer he does have.”

Roughly one year ago, the day before he turned 18, Dustin was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma, which later went into remission. But then it returned twice more, and the third time doctors said they were helpless to stop it. They have told Dustin that he has weeks or at most one month to live.

Dustin said, “I love her. She’s been there for me through this whole process,“ adding that Sierra “means the world to me. I wouldn’t be able to get through any of this without her.” At the ceremony, Dustin said, “I wouldn’t want to be standing here with anyone else, because you are the love of my life.”

After the ceremony, Sierra said, “Appreciate the time you have. You don’t know how much time you have.” Dustin added, “I feel amazing, it’s the best most special day of my life for sure. It’s a beautiful venue, beautiful place. All the people I love. All my friends, family here. This is everything I could ever ask for.”

In the four days in which the wedding was planned, the community donated everything for the wedding, including Sierra’s dress, Dustin’s suit, the venue, the cake, and the DJ; the community donated over $7,000 for the wedding.

Dustin said, “It’s meant everything. I couldn’t have imagined how much support and how much love I have from this community.”

Dustin and Sarah are planning to go to Disney World for their honeymoon; they are also planning a trip to Colorado in February.
