Twitter Officially Admits to ‘Shadowbanning’ Users in All but Name

Twitter has acknowledged that it is working to artificially limit the reach of “troll-like” accounts on the platform — “shadowbanning” users in all but name, a practice that the company has repeatedly denied.

In an announcement earlier today, Twitter said they were taking steps to limit “behaviors that distort and detract from the public conversation” by downranking content that exhibits such behaviors from search results and “public conversations.”

In other words, if your behavior is considered “troll-like” by Twitter, it will be harder for other users to find your posts on the platform. The practice of limiting the visibility of content without formally suspending the content owner, notifying them, or deleting the content in question the definition of shadowbanning.

Although Twitter employees have been caught on camera admitting that shadowbanning takes place on the platform, the company continues to publicly deny that it engages in the practice — they have even made such denials in Senate hearings.

Twitter has made little effort to be transparent about the kind of signals it looks for when seeking to identify accounts that, in their words, “distort the conversation.” One of their employees was caught on camera admitting that accounts that post too much about “God, guns, and America” are likely to be classified as “bots,” but there is no acknowledgment of that in Twitter’s announcement.

Twitter only provided a few examples of the kind of signals they look for.

There are many new signals we’re taking in, most of which are not visible externally. Just a few examples include if an account has not confirmed their email address, if the same person signs up for multiple accounts simultaneously, accounts that repeatedly Tweet and mention accounts that don’t follow them, or behavior that might indicate a coordinated attack. We’re also looking at how accounts are connected to those that violate our rules and how they interact with each other.

Buried at the bottom of the announcement post is another admission: Twitter has given itself the authority to restrict content that doesn’t even violate its policies.

These signals will now be considered in how we organize and present content in communal areas like conversation and search. Because this content doesn’t violate our policies, it will remain on Twitter, and will be available if you click on “Show more replies” or choose to see everything in your search setting.

Although considerable political attention has been focused on Facebook over its alleged political censorship, Twitter has a far worse track record. Conservatives and critics of progressivism are still routinely kicked off the platform, often for no other reason that presenting facts and political arguments.

Evangelical Christian Leaders Praise Trump and Thank Americans of Faith in Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, Israel — Leaders of the White House Faith and Opportunity Initiative gathered on a rooftop overlooking the Temple Mount on Tuesday to salute President Donald Trump’s success in moving the U.S. embassy to Israel’s capital city — and to thank the faith community for their role in making it happen.

The president created the Faith and Opportunity Initiative earlier this month under Executive Order 13831 “to assist faith-based and other organizations in their efforts to strengthen the institutions of civil society and American families and communities.”

Pastor Paula White, who is spearheading the initiative, praised the work that Christian and Jewish leaders had done to advocate for the embassy move. She also lauded the work of White House officials Jared Kushner and Jason Greenblatt, as well as U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman.

Ralph Reed, leader of the Faith and Freedom Coalition, called the embassy move “an incredible moment in history, something that we as Americans cherish.” He referred to Jerusalem as the “ancient, eternal, and indivisible capital of Israel.”

He also commented: “I don’t think that it was an accident that the first trip that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo made … was to Israel.”

Former Rep. Michele Bachmann declared her “thanks and appreciation for the faithful rabbis and the faithful pastors who for the past decades faithfully preached the Word of God.”

She added: “Without that, there perhaps wouldn’t have been the political will to do this. President Trump acted out of his heart, I believe, and because of his love for the Jewish state, but also because the heart of the American people was with this move.”

Pastor Jim Garlow of California’s Skyline Church declared: “Where people know, love, and read the Bible, they stand with the Jewish people and the nation of Israel.”

He added: “Donald Trump does not come from amidst us. … [But] God knew what Israel needed.”

Later, he added: “You watch — he’ll be another Cyrus,” referring to the Biblical ruler of Persia, who permitted the Jews to return from exile to rebuild their temple.

“[Trump] has done more for religious liberty and Israel than any president we’ve ever had.”

Lourdes Aguirre of the Latino Coalition for Israel said that President Trump’s message in moving the U.S. embassy had been consistent with his message of peace.

She said that the humanitarian work Christians do in Syria, in coordination with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), is possible in part because of President Trump’s support.

“We are protected because the President of the United States stands for peace for all religions, for all faiths,” she said. “When our president came to the Middle East, he called upon everyone to unite, and to go against one common enemy: the terrorists.”

Ramiro Pena, pastor of Christ the King Church in Waco, Texas, praised Israel’s example of religious freedom: “As Americans, as peace and freedom-loving people, we celebrate the only true democracy in the Middle East. Where there is freedom, there is freedom to worship God as conscience dictates.”

“I have never seen in my lifetime what this president has accomplished in one year,” said Jay Strack, president and founder of Student Leadership University.

He stressed that the love Americans felt for Israel did not mean that they did not love the Palestinians, too — and added that most Israelis care for the Palestinians as well.

Strack said of President Trump: “He has a heart that is strangely warmed by the word of God.”

Soros foundation driven out of Hungary

Raise your hand if you saw this one coming. After a long period of conflict between Hungarian-American citizen, billionaire George Soros and the government of Hungary, it appears that the leftist investor’s Open Society Foundations has been effectively driven from his native land. Most of the reporting on this story thus far is coming out of Europe, but it’s also been confirmed by Reuters. The foundation will be closing up shop in Soros’ native country and moving the office to Germany. (Sputnik)

According to reports, George Soros’ Open Society Foundations will close their office in the Hungarian capital and move to Berlin.

“The government of Hungary has denigrated and misrepresented our work and repressed civil society for the sake of political gain, using tactics unprecedented in the history of the European Union,” Patrick Gaspard, president of the Open Society Foundations, said.

Hungary is one of the most anti-immigrant EU member-states and has constantly clashed with the European Union over their contrasting stances on tackling the migrant crisis.

The fact that this is happening should come as too much of a surprise, but the speed at which the decision was reached is still remarkable. As we previously discussed, Prime Minister Viktor Orban has been on the warpath against Soros and his well-funded NGOs which push for open borders in Hungary, recently putting forward new legislation in the nation’s parliament which would essentially ban all of the foundation’s activities there.

Soros had vowed to continue the fight, but the recent national elections in his native land may have given him pause on that front. Orban won in a landslide, garnering public support which most American politicians could only dream of. The voters there seem to genuinely support Orban’s tough immigration policies and are not big fans of Soros, so George really wasn’t fighting some sort of common man’s battle against a repressive government.

Here’s a bonus walk down memory lane for you. Soros had predicted that he would prevail in the battle for open borders and that hasn’t worked out so well, but here’s another prediction that he made. Watch this short Bloomberg video from just before Donald Trump’s inauguration where he predicts that the President will quickly fail and the markets “won’t do well” during the Trump presidency. It comes at around the 3:45 mark if you want to fast foward. This guy’s a regular Nostradamus, I tell ya.

Federal lawsuit accuses Obama Presidential Center of ‘bait and switch’ in land grab of park space

Chicago is planning to hand over 19 acres of  public parkland, occupying a prime lakefront site, to a private entity, for a nominal sum, in order to build a monument to Barack Hussein Obama.

Now a Chicago nonprofit, Protect Our Parks, filed a lawsuit Monday in federal court alleging, according to the Chicago Tribune, that:

… established law precludes the Park District from arbitrarily transferring possession, use and control of this dedicated ‘open, clear and free’ public parkland in Jackson Park to a private nongovernmental … entity’s self-determined use,” the complaint says.

The complaint cites an “institutional bait and switch” because the original plan was for a federal entity to take possession of the land and build an Obama Presidential Library, which would be publicly owned and controlled.  That was the bait used to obtain priceless open park land that would be taken away from the citizens of Chicago.  The switch came when the presidential library plan was sidelined, and in its place was instituted a “presidential center” that would be under the control of a private foundation, with Barack Obama himself in a position to shape the center’s planning, mission, and operations toward whatever ends he desires.

No longer would public archives and historical documents be available for scholars and the public to peruse and come to their own conclusions about the Obama presidency.  That is the sort of public purpose, under public control, that justifies handing over precious park land.  In its place is a monument to Obama, built by his friends and supporters, in the pursuit of whatever goals and glory are determined by the private entity.  As plans now stand, community organizing classes and basketball courts are part of the future for the formerly public spaces.

As a private entity with no public control, the Obama Presidential Center’s ability to grab public land is questionable, according to the lawsuit’s reading of the relevant statutes.

Protect Our Parks is more confrontational than another, better known, group, Friends of the Parks, which has had reservations about the details of the Presidential Center plans but has not challenged the legality of handing over parkland.

Unsurprisingly:

… the city framed the lawsuit as a roadblock to economic progress for the South Side.

“The Obama Presidential Center is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to invest hundreds of millions of dollars that will create good jobs on the South Side, bring our communities together and honor the legacy of Chicago’s favorite son and daughter.  While some choose to stand in the way of progress for the South Side, we are focused on making progress in every community in Chicago,” the statement read.

In my view, if Obama’s friends want to raise money to put up a monument glorifying him, they have every right to do so and even can probably justify tax deductibility for their contributions, though in turn they must avoid overtly partisan exhibits.  But confiscating park space and handing it over for a nominal sum to a group with no public control or accountability is not legal, according to the lawsuit.  Public officials already have been caught short-circuiting required reviews of the OPC.  It’s time to get the thumbs off the scales of justice and treat this private corporation for what it is, not as public entity, which it is not.

Daycare for terrorists? $100 million in cash flies out of Minneapolis a year — and it’s your money

John Hinderaker calls it “the worst scandal in Minnesota history,” and one can only hope he’s right. The local Fox affiliate spent five months tracking the flow of cash going out in carry-on baggage through Minneapolis-St. Paul airport, and more importantly, where it originates. That turns out to be in large part from government day-care payments that end up being for non-existent enrollees (via Instapundit):

In the morning of March 15, Fox 9 chased a tip about a man who was leaving the country. Sources said he took a carry-on bag through security that was packed with $1 million in cash. Travelers can do that, as long as they fill out the proper government forms.

Fox 9 learned that these cloak-and-dagger scenarios now happen almost weekly at MSP. The money is usually headed to the Middle East, Dubai and points beyond. Sources said last year alone, more than $100 million in cash left MSP in carry-on luggage.

The national, go-to expert on what is behind these mysterious money transfers is Glen Kerns.

“What we were interested in is where it was going,” Kerns said.

He is a former Seattle police detective who spent 15 years on the FBI’s joint terrorism task force, until his retirement.

“It’s an outright crime, it’s unbelievable,” he said.

The cash is going through hawalas, supposedly to family members of refugees, where banking systems are either unreliable or non-existent. We’ll come back to this in a moment, but it’s not clear just how much gets to “families” at all. Kerns discovered that some hawalas have other priorities:

“I talked to a couple of sources who had lived in that region and I said, ‘If money is going to this Hawala do you think it is going to al Shabaab?’” said Kerns. “And he said, ‘Oh definitely, that area is controlled by al Shabaab, and they control the Hawala there.’”

He said when the money arrives, whether it was intended for legitimate purposes or not, al Shabaab or other groups demand a cut.

In other words, at least some portion of this cash flow finances terrorism. But where does all this cash originate? After all, the communities that use hawalas are primarily refugees. It turns out that much of it comes from Minnesota taxpayers, using day care centers as a front:

In order for the scheme to work, the daycare centers need to sign up low income families that qualify for child care assistance funding.

Surveillance videos from a case prosecuted by Hennepin County show parents checking their kids into a center, only to leave with them a few minutes later. Sometimes, no children would show up.

Either way, the center would bill the state for a full day of childcare.

This also explains why they’re using hawalas and bags full of cash to transmit the funds — they can’t afford to explain this much cash flowing through banks. The feds recently won convictions for daycare center fraud in Minneapolis, but it appears to be just the tip of the iceberg. The state tells the local affiliate that ten more daycare centers are under investigation for fraud as well, and have “dozens” more on the radar. All of this adds up, the Fox affiliate notes, and the fraud may be siphoning off half or more of all government subsidies for day care:

Sources in the Somali community told Fox 9 it is an open secret that starting a daycare center is a license to make money.

The fraud is so widespread they said, that people buy shares of daycare businesses to get a cut of the huge public subsidies that are pouring in.

Government insiders believe this scam is costing the state at least a hundred million dollars a year, half of all child care subsidies.

So … let’s recap. Minnesota spends $100 million a year on daycare for terrorists and fraudsters.  Yeah, I’d say this might be Minnesota’s worst scandal. I’d hate to see a worse one.

70 officers greet 5-year-old son of fallen cop on his first day of school after tragedy

Two weeks ago, Indiana police officer Rob Pitt was shot and killed by a homicide suspect during an exchange of gunfire.

WGNTV reports that Pitt’s son, Dakota, returned back to school Monday in touching fashion.

For his first day back to school, Dakota asked if one of his dad’s friends could drive him in his dad’s police car.

Upon his arrival, Dakota discovered 70 Terre Haute police officers and Vigo County sheriff’s deputies waiting to welcome him to school.

Trump Hit DHS Sec. So Hard on Illegals That She Wrote Resignation Letter

Those who have followed the liberal media’s negative coverage of President Donald Trump’s administration know that every few weeks, a story will emerge alleging chaos and near-resignations among key members of the cabinet and staff in an effort to sow discord among supporters and undermine the effectiveness of Trump’s team

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was the latest target of such stories, as reports late last week suggested she was close to resigning her position.

Politico reported Thursday that Nielsen had composed a resignation letter and nearly handed it in following a severe tongue-lashing by Trump at a cabinet meeting the previous day in regard to illegal immigration and border security.

The president was reportedly unhappy that border crossings by illegal immigrants had once again surged to unacceptable levels this year after they had fallen to historically low levels in 2017, and seemed to cast the brunt of the blame for that development on Nielsen’s supposed lax enforcement of border security.

Politico also reported that once Chief of Staff John Kelly and Vice President Mike Pence received word that Nielsen planned to quit after being berated by Trump in the meeting, they reached out and urged her to reconsider that decision. And it appears she did.

In a statement that neither confirmed nor denied the reports of a planned resignation, Nielsen said, “The president is rightly frustrated that existing loopholes and the lack of Congressional action have prevented this administration from fully securing the border and protecting the American people. I share his frustration.”

Are you happy that DHS Sec. Nielsen did not resign?

She said the complex issue of border security was of vital importance to America’s sovereignty.

“I will continue to direct the department to do all we can to implement the president’s security-focused agenda,” Nielsen said.

Despite multiple reports from several media outlets citing unnamed sources — initially reported by The New York Times — a spokesman for DHS denied that Nielsen had drafted a resignation letter or was on the verge of quitting.

“The @nytimes article alleging that the Secretary drafted a resignation letter yesterday and was close to resigning is false,” tweeted Tyler Moulton. “The Secretary is hard at work today on the President’s security-focused agenda and supporting the men and women of @DHSgov.”

It would not be a surprise to find out the report of Trump delivering a frustrated message to Nielsen on the topic of increased illegal immigration and lax border security was accurate. The president has made clear countless times that those issues are top priorities for him.

However, he has been met with obstinate obstruction on those measures by Democrat resistance in Congress, as they refuse to fund the border wall or consider his proposals for immigration reform.

There was a lull in illicit border crossings last year while everyone waited to see what Trump would do with the border. But with little progress in terms of the wall or dramatically beefed up security, the lull has ended and normal levels of illegal crossings have resumed.

RELATED: Trump Admin Cuts All Government Funding for NASA Global Warming Program

That turn of events would be frustrating to anyone intent on making progress on securing the border, and it’s possible that she may have considered resigning in light of the appearance of failure on her part to achieve and maintain Trump’s goals.

In the end, Nielsen did not resign, nor was she fired in a fit of rage by the president. The latest effort by the media to drive a wedge between Trump and his cabinet members in a bid to make his White House look chaotic and ineffective has thus far been a failure.

Trump Admin Cuts All Government Funding for NASA Global Warming Program

This will no doubt make liberals a bit “hot” under the collar.

A so-called “climate change monitoring system” has just been scrapped by the Trump administration, saving taxpayer money but sending backers of global warming theories into a tailspin.

According to the Washington Examiner, the proposed Carbon Monitoring System would have used satellites to study signs of climate change at a cost of $10 million a year.

However, the NASA-backed program is nowhere to be found in the federal spending deal signed last month, making it essentially grounded.

“NASA spokesman Steve Cole told (Science Magazine) that existing grants for the program will be allowed to finish but no new research will be supported,” according to the Examiner report.

“NASA declined to provide a reason for the cancellation beyond ‘budget constraints and higher priorities within the science budget,’” the news source said.

However, Phil Duffy, president of the famed Woods Hole Research Center in Massachusetts, made it clear that he blames the cuts on Trump.

Duffy told the Examiner the monitoring system is an obvious target for the Trump administration because of its association with the Paris climate change agreement and its work with other nations to help them understand their greenhouse gas emissions.

Should America continue funding global warming studies?

Trump drew applause from conservatives and boos from liberals when he withdrew from the Paris agreement last year.

“The Paris Climate Accord is simply the latest example of Washington entering into an agreement that disadvantages the United States to the exclusive benefit of other countries,” Trump said about the decision to walk away from the accord last June.

“Thus, as of today, the United States will cease all implementation of the non-binding Paris Accord and the draconian financial and economic burdens the agreement imposes on our country,” he said. “This includes ending the implementation of the nationally determined contribution and, very importantly, the Green Climate Fund which is costing the United States a vast fortune.”

Many liberals have sounded the alarm on global warming, although it is more often referred to by its updated nomenclature of “climate change.” Despite frequent claims that “the science is settled” on the issue, however, there are many mixed findings about man-made global warming.

“At least 400 scientific papers have been written this year alone that raise serious doubts regarding the theory that recent changes in the Earth’s climate are primarily caused by rising carbon dioxide emissions,” Conservative Tribune reported last year.

RELATED: Watch: Students Trash Trump Nobel Prize But Can’t Name 1 Thing Obama Did for Peace

There is also evidence that global warming alarmists have made serious miscalculations in their climate models. One major study, for example, failed to properly take into account the CO2 spewed naturally by volcanoes, like the one currently erupting in Hawaii.

“Those eruptions happened relatively early in our study period, which pushed down temperatures in the first part of the dataset, which caused the overall record to show an exaggerated warming trend,” a scientist involved in that study found after pouring over the data.

In other words, climate alarmists were just wrong.

Scientists can, of course, conduct studies that help us understand our world better, but that research needs to be politically neutral — and make financial sense. Trashing the entire economy based on a limited understanding of the climate is foolish, and it’s about time a president pointed this out.

After Strictest Abortion Ban, Iowa Gov. Doubles Down: Our Work’s Not Done

The Republican-led state of Iowa leapt to the forefront of the pro-life movement with a new law that would ban abortions once the baby’s heartbeat was discovered, which could occur as soon as six weeks after conception.

As incredible as that news is for those opposed to the wanton murder of unborn babies, Republican Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds made it clear over the weekend that she isn’t content to rest on the laurels of that pro-life victory, according to The Hill.

Speaking Saturday to the annual gathering of the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition, Reynolds celebrated the passage and her signing of what is known as the “fetal heartbeat” bill, but added, “We know that our work is not done.”

“We are No. 1 in the country when it comes to protecting life,” Reynolds told those in attendance, according to the Des Moines Register. “I believe all innocent life is precious and sacred, and as governor I pledge to you to do everything in my power to protect life.

“We know that our work is not done, that we must continue to work together to change the hearts and mind. But I’ll tell you what, we’re not slowing down, we’re not going to stop. It’s a fight worth fighting.”

Assuming it is not blocked by threatened legal challenges from abortion provider Planned Parenthood, the final version of the “fetal heartbeat” bill will become law on July 1.

It would require women seeking an abortion to first obtain an abdominal ultrasound from a physician.

If that physician detects a heartbeat, an abortion would no longer be permitted, save for certain instances such as officially reported cases of incest or rape, a partial miscarriage or significant health abnormalities for the baby.

Do you support the Iowa governor’s continued fight for the pro-life movement?

“I think it’s going to save a lot of lives,” Lynn Vogel, president of the Southern Iowa Republican Women, said of the new law. “That innocent child can’t help it, so I think it’s important to protect them.”

Other attendees at the event praised the new law as well as Reynolds for her leadership in signing it despite shrill cries of outrage from the left, which views the legislation as a direct challenge to the 1973 Supreme Court Roe v. Wade decision.

Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas said, “I’m not kidding when I said that I hope and literally pray that this is the start and we will carry through.”

Fellow GOP Rep. Steve King of Iowa said his state “set the standard” with its pro-life law, adding that he was quite pleased with the legislation that had emerged from Iowa’s General Assembly over the past couple of years.

King’s remarks were echoed by Iowa state House Majority Leader Chris Hagenow, who said conservative legislators “were undeterred” in passage of the bill despite having to “deal with every nasty thing” said to and about them by their liberal counterparts.

RELATED: New Political Ad Urges Mothers To Warn Children On The Dangers Of The GOP

He said that on the morning of the vote on that bill, he had shared a certain Bible verse with a fellow lawmaker, one that he viewed as motivation for the political fight: Acts 18:9, which reads: “One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: ‘Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent.’”

“You are the people,” Hagenow told the crowd. “You are the people who are with us, so we can keep speaking, and so we can keep on marching forward.”

The fact that this bill was passed and signed into law is a tremendous victory in and of itself for the pro-life movement.

The additional fact that Reynolds and other conservative lawmakers have vowed to not let up and to continue the fight to protect the lives of the unborn is awesome and incredibly hopeful news as well.

CBS Doesn’t Like Own Mueller Poll, So Fox Has to Report It

There is little doubt that the liberal media have invested themselves deeply into Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged Russian interference and collusion with the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.

In fact, some members of the media have all but joined with elected Democrats and liberals across the country in viewing Mueller as some sort of savior who will prove to be the ultimate downfall of President Donald Trump, uncovering evidence that will lead to his impeachment from office and even indictments and conviction for unspecified crimes.

As such, when CBS News recently conducted a poll with regard to the Mueller investigation, the results ran so counter to the prevailing media narrative of how the public views it that CBS declined to even report the results on its network broadcasts, only posting the results on its website.

The CBS poll found only 44 percent of Americans thought the Mueller investigation was “justified,” while 53 percent said it was “politically motivated.” That is a significant change since the same question was posed in December, when 46 percent believed the investigation was justified and only 48 percent thought it was politically motivated.

Republicans, not surprisingly, believed the investigation was politically motivated by a huge margin of 88-11 percent., while Democrats claimed the probe was justified by a margin of 72-23 percent.

Interestingly, independents leaned toward the right on that question, with 54 percent viewing the investigation as politically motivated versus 42 percent who believed it was justified.

Furthermore, while 76 percent of all respondents thought Trump should cooperate with Mueller and submit to an interview if requested, that is down from the 84 percent who thought Trump should cooperate in January — a clear sign that the American people are growing impatient with the ongoing probe into the alleged misdeeds of the president’s campaign and associates.

Newsbusters made light of the fact that while CBS failed to broadcast the results of its own poll — as it undercuts the pro-Mueller narrative — Fox News picked up the slack and reported the results on its network last week.

Is Mueller’s investigation of Trump and Russia politically motivated?

“Well, a new poll from CBS finds that the majority of Americans, 53 percent, now view special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation as a politically motivated operation,” Tucker Carlson reported on his May 8 program.

“And you can see why they might conclude that,” he added. “The Democratic Party seems to be agreeing with that interpretation and adding to it.

“Recent fund-raising emails from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee have lied about the investigation itself. They have claimed that if the party can collect 1 million signatures, it will somehow force President Trump to give testimony to Mueller’s investigators … because that’s how it works.”

Sean Hannity also chimed in on the poll results.

“According to a brand-new CBS News poll, more Americans now think, rightly so, Robert Mueller’s witch-hunt is, in fact, politically motivated,” Hannity said during his May 8 program. “Now, this comes as the mainstream, destroy Trump media continues to do Mueller’s bidding.

RELATED: Trump Hit DHS Sec. So Hard on Illegals That She Wrote Resignation Letter

“According to NewsBusters, get this, CBS, NBC spent a combined 30 seconds on the recent beat-down last Friday of the special counsel investigation from a federal judge,” Hannity added, referencing a judge who questioned the scope of Mueller’s authority in the increasingly wide-ranging probe.

“And meanwhile, President Trump’s poll numbers, they’re rising,” noted Hannity. “This despite a NewsBusters study showing that network news broadcasts in this country featured negative stories about the president 90 percent of the time. Wow.”

The most absurd part of the Newsbusters report is that CBS did, in fact, broadcast the results of a poll last week, though it was one from CNN which showed that first lady Melania Trump’s favorability had risen significantly over the past few months. No mention was made of CBS’ own poll which cast the Mueller investigation in a poor light.

The American people always want to see justice prevail against wrongdoing, but they hate seeing the search for “justice” perverted by blatant political motivations, which is increasingly what the Mueller investigation appears to be.

Hopefully this political witch hunt will soon draw to an acceptable conclusion.
