New WHO Data Reveals Coronavirus Less Lethal than Last Three Major US Pandemics — And they Destroyed the Economy for This

On March 17, 2020 The Gateway Pundit first reported on the controversial Ethiopian politician and Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, and his irresponsible and completely inaccurate fear mongering.
Tedros claimed in a press conference in early March that the fatality rate for the coronavirus was 3.4% — many multiples that of the fatality rate of the common flu which is estimated to be around 0.1%.

This egregiously false premise led to the greatest global pandemic panic in world history.

The Gateway Pundit reported at the time that the coronavirus fatality rate reported by the liberal mainstream media was completely inaccurate and the actual rate was more like a typical seasonal flu – the media was lying again.

The false reporting of the coronavirus fatality rate at 3.4% in the media started with the statements made by the WHO in early March.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

The Gateway Pundit reported, according to CDC numbers, in the US in the 2019-2020 flu season, there were 222,552 confirmed cases of the flu from testing and an estimated 36 million flu cases in the United States.

There were 22,000 estimated deaths from the flu as reported by the CDC.

Note that the number of deaths from the flu in the US are based on actual data.

The number of individuals who contracted the flu is an estimate.

There is no way to know how many people in the US had the flu in a given flu season because many cases are not severe and people do not have a test taken to confirm they had the flu. They believe their symptoms are minor and go on with their normal lives thinking they had a cold or something similar. Because of this, the CDC estimated 36 million people had the flu in this past flu season.

The rate of the number of individuals who died from the flu to the number of individuals who were estimated to have had the flu is 0.1% (22,552 / 36 million). This is an estimate and the amount used above by the Director General of the WHO as the mortality rate for the flu.

Then US medical elites including Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx used ridiculous and fraudulent models to lock down the record Trump economy.

On Friday time proved us right.

On Friday, more than a half a year after our initial report in March, the WHO released new numbers that indicate that the China coronavirus has mortality similar to the flu.
The WHO now estimates that 750,000,000 people have had the coronavirus today.  With one million global deaths that puts the mortality rate at 0.13%.

Alex Berenson tweeted this out:

Obviously, that news changes things tremendously.

Earlier this year we reported on how coronavirus compares to other global pandemics since the Spanish flu in 2018.

With our new data from the WHO today we updated our comparison of the worst flu pandemics in US history.

The Coronovirus with an overall mortality rate per population of 0.13% is now ranked as the 4th worst pandemic in the US in the last 110 years based on global numbers.

The global COVID-19 mortality rate is a bit higher than the 2018 US flu season.

* Note the Coronavirus numbers are based on latest WHO data.
** Also note that over half of Hong Kong Flu victims were under age 50 including thousands of children and pregnant women
*** Mortality rate via Online MedEd.

China, the WHO and the medical elites in the US created this global economic meltdown based on fraudulent numbers and bogus models.
We knew it and we pointed it out at the time and we were attacked for it.
Fauci Redfield and Birx should be fired and arrested.

NBA Finals Game 2 Ratings Crash by 68%, Least Watched Finals Game in History

Both Game 1 and Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the L.A. Lakers and the Miami Heat have suffered the worst ratings crash in the league’s entire TV broadcast history.

Despite the matchup including two of the league’s biggest stars (LeBron James and Anthony Davis), Game 1 of the Finals on Wednesday was a huge ratings disappointment for the NBA.

Game 1 averaged only a 4.1 rating and 7.41 million viewers on ABC, “comfortably the lowest rated and least-watched NBA Finals game on record (dates back to 1988),” Sports Media Watch reported.

But if the league thought things might improve for Game 2, it had a bitter pill to swallow because the second in the series did even worse than the first.

Game 2 cratered with just 4.5 million viewers and a dismal 1. 9 in the ratings. This embarrassing showing was down 68 percent over Game 2 in 2019.

The 2020 Game 2 event now rates as the lowest ratings ever for an NBA Finals game. Until Friday, Wednesday’s Game 1 was the lowest-rated in league history. So, it seems the Finals keep going down.

This horrific collapse should not be surprising after polls have found that many fans now believe that basketball is far too political.

A Sept. 2 Harris poll found that 39 percent of respondent who identified as sports fans felt that the league was too political. And another 19 percent said that they had turned off pro basketball because of the NBA’s deep links to China.

The 2020 post-COVID season launched with the heavy-handed presence of the anti-American Black Lives Matter agenda.

For his part, OutKick’s Jason Whitlock thanks LeBron James for personally destroying the NBA’s popularity.

Donald Trump Surprises Supporters Gathered at Walter Reed in an SUV Drive-by

President Donald Trump surprised supporters on Sunday by taking a slow drive-by in an SUV past the crowd showing support for him as he is treated for the coronavirus at Walter Reed hospital.

The president, wearing a mask and seated inside a Secret Service SUV waved at his supporters as they cheered and waved.

Prior to his visit, White House staff posted a video of the president on Twitter previewing a “special surprise.”

“I learned a lot about COVID,” he said in the video. “I learned it by really going to school, this is the real school, this isn’t the ‘Let’s read the book school’ and I get it, and I understand it.”

New Ad Deploys JFK on Anti-Catholic Bias to Defend Barrett’s Faith

A new television advertisement is using the late John F. Kennedy’s speech warning the nation against anti-Catholic bigotry to protect President Donald Trump’s latest Supreme Court nominee from attacks on her faith.

The conservative Judicial Crisis Network is behind the ad that includes footage of Kennedy arguing that "while this year it may be a Catholic, against whom the finger of suspicion is pointed, in other years it has been and may someday be again a Jew, or a Quaker, or a Unitarian or a Baptist."

"Today I may be the victim," Kennedy continues. "But tomorrow, it may be you."

The ad comes ahead of what is expected to be a contentious Senate hearing. Democrats on the Judiciary Committee have histories of scrutinizing judicial nominees’ religious beliefs, including Barrett’s when she was nominated for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.

The Judicial Crisis Network announced that the advertisement in part of a $10 million ad buy focusing on three states: Colorado, Iowa, and West Virginia. The ad will also air nationally.

"Democrats should take some advice from John F. Kennedy and stop attacking people of faith," Judicial Crisis Network president Carrie Severino said in a press release. "Religious tests were wrong 60 years ago and they are just as wrong today."

The advertisement’s audio comes from Kennedy’s address to the Greater Houston Ministerial Association in 1960. Kennedy is the only Catholic president in America’s history, though that would change if Joe Biden wins the election in November.

Sick: Nets Excited By ‘Worst Case Scenario’ After Trump Tests Positive for COVID

All three networks opened their Friday morning broadcasts eagerly promoting the idea that President Trump becomes seriously ill from the coronavirus. Immediately after he announced his positive test overnight, CNN broke in with hours of ghoulish gossip expecting the worst ,and this morning the more subdued networks floated the same possibility, even discussing Nancy Pelosi becoming the acting president if the 25th Amendment is invoked.
NBC’s Today show was the worst offender, spending several segments excited by the idea of Trump becoming  incapacitated and replaced.

Co-anchor Savannah Guthrie asked national security analyst Jeremy Bash what would happen “when you have a situation where the president may be seriously ill?” Bash hyped how Trump could become so sick he needed to be hospitalized:
First is what happened to the U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson where he got so sick he had to go into intensive care. If the president is incapacitated, Mike Pence, the VP would become the acting president. That’s only happened three times in recent history, Savannah.
He noted that before worrying that our enemies might take advantage of the situation.
During the 3rd Hour Today show, the hosts spend a substantial amount of time strategizing what would happen in the worst case scenario with presidential historian Michael Beschloss. You can read the full exchange in the transcript at the bottom but here are some of the most awful exchanges and questions:
MELVIN: …[I]n the past when the president has become seriously ill, what’s happened? How many times has something like this happened in our nation’s history?
PRESIDENTIAL HISTORIAN, MICHAEL BESCHLOSS: Well, the last time a president’s life was in this much jeopardy was in 1981 when Ronald Reagan was shot in Washington, D.C. outside the Washington Hilton. And he benefited from the fact that there was something called an amendment to the Constitution which allows a president to temporarily pass power, if necessary.

So the good part of this is if there is any silver lining to this, Craig, is we’ve got a constitutional system. If something, God forbid, happened to a president and/or a vice president or then a Speaker of the House, President Pro Tempore in the Senate, then you go through the cabinet in order basically at seniority so there is a line of succession, the republic would be secure.
DYLAN DREYER: So breaking down that process, if the worst case scenario does come true and the president might be able to temporarily do his job, what is the exact next step that happens?
During this discussion, Beschloss repeatedly hyped how Trump was very sick, even though the White House physician said he was "well" and didn’t disclose if he was experiencing any symptoms. Regardless, Beschloss stated, "We’re about to see a time in history we have never seen before, especially because we are one month before a president running for re-election. We have never seen a president this sick so soon this close to an election."
Chuck Todd and Al Roker also floated the idea of Nancy Pelosi becoming acting president:
TODD: This White House in particular needs to go above and beyond in its transparency about this….The line of succession to the presidency, once you get after the vice president, is up on Capitol Hill with the speaker Nancy Pelosi…
ROKER:  [E]ven though we know Vice President said this morning he tested positive [sic] but how far down the line–How far down the line is the line of succession do they get planned for something like this?
While discussing the 25th Amendment possibility with correspondent Terry Moran on ABC’s Good Morning America, co-anchor Cecilia Vega wondered, “What would happen if the vice president were to become unable to fill in for President Trump?”
Moran noted how Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was “next in line of succession,” and “would resign and become acting president.”
Over on CBS, correspondent Major Garrett also suggested Trump becoming "seriously ill" and needing to invoke the 25th Amendment  to co-anchor Tony Dokoupil:
DOKOUPIL: …[H]ow likely is it that he’ll be able to carry out his duties in quarantine?
MAJOR GARRETT: Fully likely as long as he doesn’t get seriously ill. If he gets seriously ill then the 25th Amendment comes into play. Ratified in 1967, it’s a temporary transfer of power to the vice president if for any reason medical or otherwise you’re incapacitated. We’re not there yet, we’re not close to that but It’s a question on the minds of every citizen. And the White House has to explain daily how the president’s doing and how close, if at all close, it’s getting to that point.
Gayle King ended this segment touting the "ramifications" from the President’s positive test. Dokoupil later asked John Dickerson about using the amendment again "if the president takes a bad turn."
NBC rooting for Trump to be incapacitated or worse was paid for advertisers Giant and State Farm, whom you can contact by following the links above.

CRAIG MELVIN: Once again, we find ourselves in some unchartered waters. But try and put this into some historical context if you can. When the president is seriously ill, again, it’s important to note we don’t know at this point how President Trump is doing. But in the past when the president has become seriously ill, what’s happened? How many times has something like this happened in our nation’s history?
PRESIDENTIAL HISTORIAN, MICHAEL BESCHLOSS: Well, the last time a president’s life was in this much jeopardy was in 1981 when Ronald Reagan was shot in Washington, D.C. outside the Washington Hilton. And he benefited from the fact that there was something called an amendment to the Constitution which allows a president to temporarily pass power, if necessary. Reagan didn’t do that then. He did it a couple years later when he had an operation saying he would transfer power to Vice President George H.W. Bush for a number of hours until he was out of anesthesia. That’s something that was not true of most of America. It was only passed to the 1960s. When most of American history in a situation like this, we might have been without a president if the president was incapacitated.
AL ROKER: Michael, given the spread or the potential spread of this, even though we know Vice President said this morning he tested positive but how far down the line–[co-hosts correct him]–negative I mean, absolutely—How far down the line is the line of succession do they get planned for something like this?
BESCHLOSS: Goes all the way down through the cabinet. There’s something called continuity in government which the executive branch is usually very serious about. During the Eisenhower years, they would actually have drills. For instance if there was a nuclear attack, the president would get on a helicopter and fly to the hideout in Virginia he was to go to if there was an actual attack at that time from the Soviet Union. So the good part of this is if there is any silver lining to this, Craig, is we’ve got a constitutional system. If something, God forbid, happened to a president and/or a vice president or then a Speaker of the House, President pro-tempore in the Senate, then you go through the cabinet in order basically at seniority so there is a line of succession, the republic would be secure.
DYLAN DREYER: So breaking down that process, if the worst case scenario does come true and the president might be able to temporarily do his job, what is the exact next step that happens?
BESCHLOSS: Well, what could happen is if the president was conscious enough, he could write a letter, the same as Reagan did to Vice President Bush in the 1980s, or if that was not true, under the Constitutional Amendment, you could have a majority of the cabinet do it or another similar body declare him incapacitated and say the vice president will act as president until the president is able to operate again. We have not been in those waters before. We’re about to see a time in history we have never seen before, especially because we are one month before a president running for re-election. We have never seen a president this sick so soon this close to an election.
SHEINELLE JONES: Let’s talk about right now. At this point, The president says he’s currently quarantining in the White House, will be working in isolation from his residency. At this point, though, can he fulfill his normal duties within this context? Or will the vice president step in, just to take on a bit more responsibility? How does that work?
BESCHLOSS: My guess is knowing President Trump, this is not someone who will be eager to give any responsibility to the vice president if he can help it. So we will have a situation. We know President Trump operates from living quarters for a large part of the day already even in times of health. As you know, a president can operate from just about anywhere. He can operate from a hospital as long as he was conscious. As you know, a president has very good communications, for instance on Air Force One. None of that is in sight. But the point is the presidency is built so that as long as you got an alert, conscious president, he doesn’t have to be sitting in the Oval Office.

CBS This Morning

TONY DOKOUPIL: Major on that last point, a lot of Americans are going to be waking up and they’re going to have one question in mind, can the president continue to do his job. Based on how this president works and what you know of the work of the presidency in general, how likely is it that he’ll be able to carry out his duties in quarantine?
MAJOR GARRETT: Fully likely as long as he doesn’t get seriously ill. If he gets seriously ill then the 25th Amendment comes into play. Ratified in 1967, it’s a temporary transfer of power to the vice president if for any reason medical or otherwise you’re incapacitated. We’re not there yet, we’re not close to that but It’s a question on the minds of every citizen. And the White House has to explain daily how the president’s doing and how close, if at all close, it’s getting to that point.
GAYLE KING: The key word again as you said at the top of this broadcast, transparency. It’s so important to know exactly what is happening in the White House at all times when it comes to this — when it comes to this illness, this virus.
GARRETT: In this context, in the midst of this campaign, with this virus, it has never been more important.
KING: So many ramifications here.

8:09:45-8:10:29amEST
TONY DOKOUPIL: John, we’re all dealing with a lot of uncertainty this morning. One of the big ifs is if the president takes a bad turn, what happens to the leadership in the White House? We’ve heard about the 25th Amendment. Can you tell us about what that protocol is and whether it’s been used before in American history?
JOHN DICKERSON: It has been used before in short duration when Ronald Reagan well a colonoscopy, when George Bush did twice, and there’s — and Mike Pence was on standby at least once to use it. There is a process for this. There will be a run-up period here where it could — where everybody could kind of figure out exactly what the protocols are. So there’s a way to handle this should we ever get to that path which we’re a long way from at the moment.

ABC’s Good Morning America
10/2/2020
7:33:38AM-7:35:35AM EST
CECILIA VEGA: The White House doctor Jon just mentioned said that the President and the First Lady are both well at this time and will maintain a vigilant watch over them and Terry Moran has more from Washington. Terry, one of the major questions this morning, what happens if the president becomes unable to do his job?
TERRY MORAN: That’s right, Cecilia. That’s where the 25th Amendment to the Constitution kicks in. That’s the amendment that was passed after the assassination of John Kennedy and it does provide and it’s been tested clear guidance on what happens. It would be the President of the United States, President Trump submitting a written declaration to the Senate and to the House saying he is temporarily unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Upon recovery the president would then submit another declaration saying I’m okay. This has been used three times during planned surgeries that Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush underwent. Now what happens if the president falls so ill he unable to make that written declaration well then, the cabinet would meet and it would vote that the president is unable to discharge those powers and duties. They submit that written declaration and the vice president would once again become acting president. It’s important in both situations, this is temporary. It has been done and so the guardrails are there. But this is something that is available to the president if he needs it.
VEGA: There are big questions about Vice President Mike Pence. When he last saw President Trump, but, again, all of this is hypothetical. What would happen if the vice president were to become unable to fill in for President Trump? MORAN: Well then you’re in the deep woods of the 25th Amendment. The House — Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is next in line of succession. There would be a written declaration that the president and vice president are unable to discharge their duties. Nancy Pelosi would resign and become acting president.

Twitter: Verified Users Wish Death on Trump, Violating Platform’s Rules

Twitter allowed wishes death against President Donald Trump from its verified leftist users on Friday morning, after the president announced that he and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for the Chinese coronavirus. Twitter clearly states that “hoping that someone dies as a result of a serious disease” is a violation of the platform’s terms of service, but has not taken widespread action against its “blue check” users.

“It’s been against my moral identity to tweet this for the past four years, but, I hope he dies,” tweeted Zara Rahim, a former national spokeswoman for Hillary Clinton’s campaign and Obama White House staffer. The tweet was initially highlighted by conservative producer and direction Robby Starbuck. This was just one prominent example of Twitter verified users wishing death on Trump. Some have deleted their comments and others have set their accounts private as a result of backlash.

Starbuck noted how the tweets violate Twitter’s rules. “‘Wishing, hoping or calling for serious harm on a person or a group of people’ is a major violation of Twitter’s terms of service,”

“Let’s see if [Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey] and @Twitter enforce this on all the leftists wishing, hoping and calling for serious harm to President Trump,” he added.

Twitter’s rules regarding abusive behavior state that that the platform does “not tolerate content that wishes, hopes or expresses a desire for death, serious bodily harm or fatal disease against an individual or group of people.

“This includes, but is not limited to: Hoping that someone dies as a result of a serious disease e.g., ‘I hope you get cancer and die,’” the Twitter Rules further clarify. But the rules didn’t stop a long list of verified accounts contributing their hopes that the President dies.

“I hope they both die,” wrote California congressional candidate Steve Cox.

“I hope he suffers through this and dies as he’s losing on election night,” tweeted Lisa Curry.

“I hope they die!” tweeted a musical started known as Must Die.

“I ONLY EVER WANTED YOU TO SUFFER,” added the entertainer.

“This might be my favorite so far,” tweeted filmmaker Mike Diva in response to a pro-coronavirus meme.

“yeah, the irony of trump catching a disease he let thousands and thousands of people die of it quite delicious,” added YouTube music critic Anthony Fantano, who didn’t waste an opportunity to mention his vegan diet.

“If he dies, it is what it is,” said Khandaghabadi.

“I don’t feel bad about hoping he dies because I’ve been hoping that since 2015,” added Daniel Golson.

“So Trump got COVID huh… Welp if he dies he dies,” tweeted Vstylez.

“‘Hypocrite Donald Trump claims to be pro-life, dies,’” wrote the Gravel Institute, which purports to be a leftist response to PragerU.

“LMFAO TRUMP GONNA DIE,” tweeted Sober Rob.

“die,” wrote Phil Nolan.

“For once, I’m rooting for the virus,” said Simon Abrams’s Vault of Horrors.

“time to die please,” tweeted Chastity.

“PLS DIE PLS DIE PLS DIE,” wrote producer nedarb.

“I’m not one to laugh at other people’s suffering, but…. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA,” wrote Danielle Muscato. “Burn in hell you mother fucker.”

“A nice thing about this is that he’s still around to see how happy we’re all gonna be when he dies,” wrote Sean Burns.

“No, but seriously, I hope he dies,” said Goldy.

“I hope they all die,” said a blue check Twitter user named Bill. “I’m not naming names so I’m not violating twitter’s policy against wishing anyone harm.”

“He killed 200,000 people. Hope he dies a horrible death!” wrote Rob Hoffman.

“I will say: I do hope he dies,” said Brandon Sheffield.

“I’m not gonna pretend and be polite here – i hope Trump fucking dies a painful COVID death and I’m not sorry,” wrote Brad Gallaway.

HISTORY MADE: Trump Becomes First POTUS Infected by China Virus, Tests Positive on Gandhi’s Birthday

Donald J. Trump is experiencing "mild symptoms" after making history as the first U.S. president to be infected by a China virus. He is in "good spirits" and feeling "very energetic," according to White House chief of staff Mark Meadows. All that is to be expected, given Trump’s scientifically assessed status as "the healthiest individual …
