Hollywood Celebrities Attack Amy Coney Barrett: ‘Stepford Wife’ ‘We Are So F**ked’ ‘RBG Turning in Her Grave’

Left-wing Hollywood celebrities wasted little time Saturday launching a social media offensive against President Donald Trump’s nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to succeed the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. Supreme Court. Not only did they attack her judicial record, they also launched personal insults.

“Amy is like a hybrid of Aunt Lydia and a Stepford wife,” Grammy-winning singer Diane Warren tweeted, referring to the Aunt Lydia villain in The Handmaid’s Tale.

“How much chalk can one blackboard stand?” actress Ellen Barkin tweeted, referring to Barrett’s voice.

“RBG turning in her grave,” actor Adam Goldberg tweeted.

Amy Coney Barrett, 48, currently serves as a judge on the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. A former clerk for Justice Antonin Scalia, Barrett takes a strict “originalist” view of the Constitution that prioritizes the original text over subsequent interpretations. Her nomination is President Trump’s third pick for the high court, following Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.

Left-wingers fear Barrett’s positions on the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, as well as abortion, due to her strong Catholic faith. Some have already launched smears against her and her family, questioning why Barrett and her husband adopted two children from Haiti.

Hollywood elites eagerly joined the left-wing pile-on. Singer Diane Warren compared Barrett to Aunt Lydia from The Handmaid’s Tale, while also likening her to a Stepford wife.

Actress Ellen Barkin mocked Barrett’s voice and used the hashtag #stfuacb — as in, “shut the fuck up, Amy Coney Barrett.”

Actor Adam Goldberg claimed that the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg would be upset about Barrett’s nomination, even though Ginsburg was a close personal friend of Scalia.

Actor Jeffrey Wright called Barrett’s nomination “disgraceful.”

Actor Alec Baldwin insisted that Judge Barrett “is only another card that the Psycho turns over to destroy the Constitution.”

Debra Messing claimed that the president is pushing Barrett’s nomination so that “she can vote him in w/ contested election results.”

Actor Jon Cryer called Republican senators “lying, racist hypocrites” for their decision to hold a vote on Barrett’s nomination.

Actress Patricia Arquette appeared to allude to Barrett’s stance on abortion.

Comedian Sandra Bernhard tweeted the hashtag #NoSCOTUSforAmy.

Actor Ethan Embry claimed that Barrett is “unqualified” despite her impressive career on the bench and respect from those who disagree with her decisions.

Actress Kristen Johnston said that women are “fucked,” referring to Barrett’s association with the Catholic community known as People of Praise.

General Hospital star Nancy Lee Grahn spread the debunked theory that People of Praise was the inspiration for The Handmaid’s Tale. Novelist Margaret Atwood has written that she was inspired to write the novel after visiting Afghanistan and seeing the oppressive Islamist clothing that women were forced to wear.

Military Suicides Spike Roughly 20% During Pandemic, Report Says

Suicides among members of the armed forces have risen nearly 20% during the coronavirus pandemic, compared to numbers from 2019, according to a report.

“While the data is incomplete and causes of suicide are complex, Army and Air Force officials say they believe the pandemic is adding stress to an already strained force,” The Associated Press (AP) reported.

“The Pentagon refused to provide 2020 data or discuss the issue, but Army officials said discussions in Defense Department briefings indicate there has been up to a 20% jump in overall military suicides this year,” the AP continued. “The numbers vary by service. The active Army’s 30% spike — from 88 last year to 114 this year — pushes the total up because it’s the largest service. The Army Guard is up about 10%, going from 78 last year to 86 this year. The Navy total is believed to be lower this year.”

Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy told the AP, “I can’t say scientifically, but what I can say is — I can read a chart and a graph, and the numbers have gone up in behavioral health related issues.”

“We cannot say definitively it is because of COVID. But there is a direct correlation from when COVID started, the numbers actually went up,” he added.

Gen. Charles Brown, who is an Air Force chief, said, “COVID adds stress. From a suicide perspective, we are on a path to be as bad as last year. And that’s not just an Air Force problem, this is a national problem because COVID adds some additional stressors – a fear of the unknown for certain folks.”

Explaining how two decades of war have been taxing to American soldiers, the AP noted that “[t]hose deployments, compounded by the virus, hurricane and wildfire response and civil unrest missions, have taken a toll.”

“The 2018 rate for active duty military was 24.8 per 100,000, while the overall civilian rate for that year was 14.2, but the rate for younger civilian men ranged from 22.7 to 27.7 per 100,000, according to the National Institute of Mental Health,” the AP reported.

The complications of COVID-19 have reportedly taken a toll not just on the military. One in four young people between the ages of 18 and 24 has “seriously considered” suicide during the pandemic, according to data released in August from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

As The Daily Wire reported:

More than 25% of young Americans aged 18-24 have seriously considered killing themselves during the last month, according to the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report released on Thursday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

“The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has been associated with mental health challenges related to the morbidity and mortality caused by the disease and to mitigation activities, including the impact of physical distancing and stay-at-home orders,” the report began. “Symptoms of anxiety disorder and depressive disorder increased considerably in the United States during April–June of 2020, compared with the same period in 2019.”

‘Anti-Racist’ Author Claims ‘White Colonizer’ Amy Coney Barrett Adopted Children To Shield Herself From Accusations Of Racism

“Anti-racist” author and diversity consultant Ibram Kendi attacked Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barett Saturday by suggesting that Barrett had adopted children to shield herself from allegations of racism and that she and other white parents who adopt children of other races are “white colonizers.” Responding to a purported photo of Barrett and her two […]

Joe Biden Claimed He Attended Historically Black University; University Disagrees

Delaware State University (DSU) has refuted Joe Biden’s claim that he attended the historically black institution — the latest example of Biden being caught embellishing his academic credentials.

Biden made the little-noticed claim in October 2019, as he was campaigning in South Carolina:

The Washington Times reported Friday:

Carlos Holmes, director of news service for Delaware State, said that Mr. Biden was never a student, although he has made appearances twice on campus for commencement speeches at the public university in Dover, one of the nation’s historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).

“Vice President Biden did not attend DSU,” said Mr. Holmes in a Thursday email. “However he was the Commencement keynote speaker in 2003 and [2016], and during the former he was awarded an honorary doctoral degree.”

Mr. Biden made the claim ahead of the South Carolina Democratic primary during a town hall held Oct. 26, 2019, at historic Wilson High School in Florence, which was founded in 1866 by the Freedmen’s Bureau for Black children seeking an education.

“I got started out of an HBCU, Delaware State — now, I don’t want to hear anything negative about Delaware State,” Mr. Biden told the audience, drawing laughter, as shown on video. “They’re my folks.”

In his 2007 biography, Promises to Keep, Biden never mentions Delaware State University, though he describes his experience at the University of Delaware.

The university’s website notes:

DSU enjoys a long history as one of America’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Founded in 1891 as the State College for Colored Students, DSU is proud of our heritage as one of the country’s first land-grant educational institutions. Today, we’re a welcome center of learning for students from many backgrounds. Our current population includes a 63% African-American enrollment and an increasing number of Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian and other international students.

Public statistics suggest that nearly 10% of the student body today is white.

Biden’s false claims about his academic record helped destroy his first presidential campaign in 1987. Among other claims, Biden said he had graduated in the top half of his law school class. He graduated near the bottom.

‘Anti-Racism Scholar’ Hints Amy Barrett’s Adopted Haitian Kids Are a ‘Prop,’ Shows Who the Real Racist Is

During the Iraq War, “Halliburton” became shorthand for a unique kind of evil to the American left. It’s not just that the multinational contractor was receiving substantial contracts from the government for infrastructure in post-invasion Iraq. The corporation was profiting off of pain, if you listened to the Keith Olbermanns and Code Pink protesters of…

Democrats are reportedly considering a plan to boycott upcoming Senate Supreme Court confirmation hearings and at least two Democratic Senators — Hawaii’s Mazie Hirono and Connecticut’s Richard Blumenthal — say they will not meet with nominee Amy Coney Barrett because it would “legitimize” President Donald Trump’s decision to kick off a nomination process just weeks […]

Is Joe Biden OK? Biden’s Brain Freeze and Labored Breathing During Interview with MSNBC Raises Questions About His Health (VIDEO)

Biden had a major brain freeze on Friday evening during his interview with MSNBC.

77-year-old Joe Biden could barely speak on Friday as he gave an interview from his basement.

MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle had to jump in and feed Biden his line because he could not recall a word.

WATCH:

Biden’s labored breathing raised eyebrows.

Joe Biden was breathing very heavily as he spoke about his ‘economic plan.’

This was difficult to watch.

Trump’s campaign asked, “Is Joe Biden ok?”

WATCH:

This is elder abuse.

Earlier this week Biden could barely make it to the podium, was panting to regain his breath and could barely speak at an event at the US Constitutional Center.

What is causing this labored breathing?

Biden must be in really bad shape because he started off Saturday morning by calling a lid...AGAIN.

Spotify employees threaten ‘full-blown strike’ if Joe Rogan isn’t censored: report

A new report stated that Spotify employees are extremely bothered that the music streaming platform has not censored "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast. According to Digital Music News, a self-described source for music industry news and analysis, Spotify employees are so angered about Rogan’s free speech that they have threatened a "full-blown strike" if the company doesn’t suppress certain "JRE" episodes and topics.

On May 19, Spotify announced that it had reached an agreement with Rogan for a "multi-year exclusive licensing deal" that is reportedly worth more than $100 million, according to The Wall Street Journal. In the deal, Spotify gets the "JRE" full library, which adds up to nearly 1,500 episodes.

"It will remain free, and it will be the exact same show," Rogan said in an announcement on Instagram. "It’s just a licensing deal, so Spotify won’t have any creative control over the show."

"They want me to just continue doing it the way I’m doing it right now," he continued. "I’m excited to have the support of the largest audio platform in the world and I hope you folks are there when we make the switch!"

Rogan built a massive audience on YouTube, where he has nearly 10 million subscribers and over 2.6 billion views since launching his podcast in 2009. Episodes of the video podcast are currently available on YouTube, but will be removed and exclusively on Spotify by the end of the year.

Rogan’s first episode on Spotify aired on Sept. 1. Immediately, fans of the massively popular podcast noticed that several potentially controversial episodes were missing from the Spotify library, including interviews with firebrands such as Alex Jones, Gavin McInnes, Milo Yiannopoulos, Charles C. Johnson, Owen Benjamin, and Carl Benjamin, according to Variety.

On Sept. 16, Spotify held an all-hands company meeting, where Spotify CEO Daniel Ek addressed concerns about alleged "transphobic content" that was on several "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcasts, according to Motherboard.

"Some staff inside the company feel alienated by Spotify’s hosting of certain ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ (JRE) episodes, according to copies of some of the questions presented to the meeting obtained by Motherboard," the report stated.

"In the case of Joe Rogan, a total of 10 meetings have been held with various groups and individuals to hear their respective concerns," Ek said, three sources reportedly told Motherboard. "And some of them want Rogan removed because of things he’s said in the past."

"Others have concerns specifically over a recent episode," Ek reportedly said. "And Joe Rogan and the episode in question have been reviewed extensively. The fact that we aren’t changing our position doesn’t mean we aren’t listening. It just means we made a different judgment call."

Digital Music News reported this week that Spotify employees are now threatening to strike if Rogan is not censored.

"A contingent of activist Spotify staffers are now considering a walkout or full-blown strike if their demands for direct editorial oversight of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast aren’t met," the report stated.

The employees are allegedly "demanding direct editorial oversight" over the comedian’s podcast.

That would include the ability to directly edit or remove sections of upcoming interviews, or block the uploading of episodes deemed problematic. The employees also demanded the ability to add trigger warnings, corrections, and references to fact-checked articles on topics discussed by Rogan in the course of his multi-hour discussions.

The report added that there are "preliminary plans" for a work strike that "would principally involve New York-based Spotify employees, and would be accompanied by protests outside Spotify’s Manhattan headquarters."

"Other aspects would involve media appearances and coordination with other activist organizations," the report said.

The music outlet noted that the strike "could be risky for the staffers involved."

"Spotify employees reportedly enjoy comfortable salaries in the $120-$130,000 annual range, with considerable perks and benefits," the report said. "These are plum jobs in extremely uncertain economic times, making a strike a risky move."

According to PayScale, Spotify pays its employees an average of $110,432 a year. Glassdoor lists many salaries at Spotify well over $100,000.

BlazeTV’s Dave Rubin, the host of the "The Rubin Report" podcast, commented on the Rogan situation.

"The idea that any of these companies – these platforms, YouTube, Facebook, Spotify, whatever it is – are out there to defend free speech, no, that’s just a crazy fantasy," Rubin told Billboard. "That’s obviously his choice and it sounds like it was a pretty great financial situation."

"As far as the [music] platforms getting more into the talk space and the podcast world, I don’t think any of these platforms should be trusted," Rubin said.

Last week, Rogan issued a rare public apology after being criticized for claims he made on a recent "JRE" podcast. He walked back claims that he made on his podcast that left-wing anarchists set fires in Oregon.

"I f***ed up on the podcast with Douglas Murray and said that people got arrested lighting fires in Portland," Rogan wrote on Twitter. "That turns out to not be true. I was very irresponsible not looking into it before I repeated it. I read one story about a guy getting arrested for lighting fires. Turned out to be true, but the other s*** I read about people getting arrested for lighting fires in Portland was not true. I repeated it without looking into it and it was a really f***ing stupid mistake that won’t happen again. I’m sorry."

Rogan, the UFC commentator and podcaster, offered to host a presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden. Trump immediately accepted the invitation, Biden has yet to respond.

It has started: Bill Maher kicks off bid to make Amy Coney Barrett look like a religious nut

Left-wing television host Bill Maher has wasted no time in going the low road, branding President Trump’s expected Supreme Court nominee, distinguished law professor and Seventh Circuit Appeals Court Justice, Amy Coney Barrett, as a ‘f***ing nut.’

“We’ll be saying this name a lot, I’m sure, because she’s a f—ing nut,” he said.

“Religion. I was right about that one too,” he continued. “Amy Coney Barrett, Catholic. Really Catholic, I mean really, really Catholic. Like speaking in tongues. Like she doesn’t believe in condoms which she has in common with Trump because he doesn’t either. I remember that from Stormy Daniels.”

“So she’s gonna be on the court. RBG’s laying in state. Trump visited RBG’s casket. When he walked in, everybody went ‘boooo’. And of course all the ass kissers around Trump, they told him, ‘No sir, they’re saying ‘coup, coup,’” Maher said. “It’s so funny but we’re losing our country.”

Class was never his strong suit. And ‘unhinged’ is just a Tuesday for him.

But what he’s doing is getting the ball rolling for the ongoing leftist narrative, that Amy Coney Barrett is a nut. With his sizable audience, he has a very big voice for for narrative-setting.

Pretty much all of the left is marching in lockstep to this narrative, bunching up to make Coney Barrett’s faithful adherence to Roman Catholicism, the largest professed religius in the U.S., encompassing 21% of the population, into something that’s purely for nuts. Be a Catholic, head for the margins of human society is the message. Polite people don’t do Catholic. Don’t let Amy get all those Catholic cooties on you. Funny how no one says that of an atheist or am Episcopalian…

It’s disgusting.

It seems that for the left, they’ve got no boyfriends to throw sex harassment charges at her with, as they tried with Kavanaugh, and in any case, they’ve been to that well twice before. Therefore all they have to grasp at in the life of this spotless judge is making her Catholicism the issue.

Funny, they didn’t seem to have this problem at the confirmation hearings of Sonia Sotomayor, Antonin Scalia, Sam Alito, Anthony Kennedy or even Brett Kavanaugh. It’s just Barrett whose Catholicism is all of a sudden a problem.

“The dogma lives loudly within you,” sneered Sen. Dianne Feinstein to Barrett a couple years earlier.

Maher is far from the only one pushing this outrageous line of thinking. Here are a few headlines from around the press:
