President Trump: ‘Investigate’ Joe Scarborough’s Dead Congressional Intern

In the wake of Wednesday’s firing of Matt Lauer, the longtime co-anchor of NBC’s flagship morning program The Today Show, President Trump wasted no time going for the kill against the left-wing network, including the revival of what the president described as an “unsolved mystery” involving MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough.

“So now that Matt Lauer is gone when will the Fake News practitioners at NBC be terminating the contract of Phil Griffin?” Trump tweeted, adding, “And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the “unsolved mystery” that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate!”

In an earlier tweet, Trump also called for the media to “Check out Andy Lack’s past!” Lack is the chairman of NBC News and MSNBC.

“Wow, Matt Lauer was just fired from NBC for “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace,” Trump tweeted. “But when will the top executives at NBC & Comcast be fired for putting out so much Fake News. Check out Andy Lack’s past!”

The “mystery” involving the left-wing Scarborough’s dead intern, Lori Klausutis, is one of those things that has been floating around the Internet for quite a while now; something whispered about, something rarely spoken of out loud. In fact, after he mentioned the incident on Twitter back in 2010, left-wing blogger Markos Moulitsas was blackballed by MSNBC, where he had been a regular contributor.

In July of 2001, Lori Klausutis was just 28-years-old when she was found dead in Scarborough’s congressional district office. The Morning Joe co-host was a sitting Republican congressman at the time. The coroner ruled that the intern fainted due to a heart irregularity. Her death was caused by her head hitting a desk when she fell. She was alone in the office at the time.

Two months later, less than a year into his fourth term, Scarborough abruptly resigned from congress citing his desire to spend more time with his family.

It should be noted that just as there is no evidence that Trump colluded with Russia, there is also no evidence of any wrongdoing on Scarborough’s part with respect to Klausutis. This is just another example of Trump using the media’s own tactics against them.

If Russia is fair game, why not Scarborough’s dead intern? After all, Scarborough has been a leading conspiracy theorist regarding all things Trump.

FLASHBACK: Hypocrite Matt Lauer Grilled Bill O’Reilly Over Sexual Harassment

As news broke Wednesday morning of Matt Lauer being fired by NBC News over accusations of sexual harassment by a colleague, it brought to mind a September interview in which he grilled former Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly about being fired for similar allegations.

Amazingly, Lauer actually asked: “You were probably the last guy in the world that they wanted to fire because you were the guy that the ratings and the revenues were built on, you carried that network on your shoulders for a lot of years. So doesn’t it seem safe to assume that the people at Fox News were given a piece of information or given some evidence that simply made it impossible for you to stay on at Fox News?”

 

 

After O’Reilly dismissed that logic, Lauer followed up: “But you don’t let your number one guy go unless you have information that you think makes him – ” O’Reilly cut him off. Lauer pressed: “Did you ever send lewd texts or emails to another employee at Fox News?…Did you ever have any human resources cases brought against you?”

After Lauer questioned him about Fox reaching sexual harassment lawsuits with several women who accused the cable news host of wrongdoing, O’Reilly pushed back by pointing out: “Every company in this country, including this one, Comcast, has these lawsuits, every one.”

Perhaps even more astonishing was the moment Lauer sympathized with O’Reilly’s accusers and lectured:

But think about those five women and what they did. They came forward and filed complaints against the biggest star at the network they worked at. Think of how intimidating that must have been, how nerve-racking that must have been. Doesn’t that tell you how strongly they felt about the way they were treated by you?

One now wonders what Lauer’s answer would to his own question.     

He wrapped up the September 19 exchange by asking O’Reilly: “Over the last six months since you’re firing, have you done some soul searching? Have you done some self reflection? And have you looked at the way you treated that you think now or think about differently now than you did at the time?”

Again, all good questions for Lauer to now be asking himself.

Democrat Compares Female Trump Nominee to a Horse

Democratic Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (R.I.) compared Trump administration nominee Kathleen Hartnett White to a horse before members of the Environment and Public Works Committee.

The committee voted to confirm White’s nomination to lead the White House’s Council on Environmental Quality, Wednesday. During a business meeting prior to the party-line vote, Whitehouse likened White to the ancient Roman emperor Caligula’s horse.

"There is a popular legend of the Emperor Caligula appointing his horse to the Roman Senate," Whitehouse said. "Had he done that, it would have raised important questions, but the real questions would not have been about the horse. The horse was just a horse. The real questions would have been about the power of the Emperor Caligula and the spine of the Roman Senate. Discussing the merits of the horse would be pointless."

"Approving this nominee for CEQ would be so preposterous that it would be like appointing Caligula’s horse, in that the real question becomes about the power of our fossil fuel emperors and the spine of the Senate," he said. "This is a moment in which the Senate takes its own measure. I guess we’re about to see the answer."

Chairman of the Environment and Public Works Committee Sen. John Barrasso (R., Wyo.) quickly condemned Whitehouse’s remarks.

"Let me just say that comparing Ms. White to a horse, as one of our Democrat colleagues just did, to me is a new low," Barrasso said. "It’s disturbing, it’s demeaning, and it’s dehumanizing."

White has a long history as an environmental regulator in Texas. Former Governor Rick Perry appointed her as the chairman and commissioner of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the largest state environmental regulatory agency in the nation, where she served for six years.

She also served under George W. Bush while he was governor of Texas, as an appointee to the Texas Water Development Board. Most recently, she was a senior fellow at the Texas Public Policy Foundation for energy and environment issues.

White’s nomination will now go to the full Senate for approval.

They’ve accused Judge Roy Moore of the worst sins imaginable four weeks before his senate election.

Last night in Henagar, Alabama, Judge Roy Moore denied the allegations against him. Judge Roy Moore told the packed house who came to see him that he “did not even know the women” who were attacking him.

The conservative crowd gave Judge Roy Moore TWO standing ovations!

Roy Moore spoke for 29 minutes Monday night in rural northeast Alabama, took no questions from his audience or the media, left the room 20 seconds after he spoke his final word and received two standing ovations.

Before he even spoke a word, the Alabama Senate Republican nominee saw his audience stand and applaud at a community center in Henagar – a one stop light town located about 20 miles northwest of Fort Payne.

“I liked everything he said,” said Robert Dunlap of Crossville, who sat in the front row as a crowd of about 200 people squeezed into a room so crowded it would have made a fire marshal wince.

Moore gave no new insight on the allegations that have hounded his campaign for the past 21/2 weeks, saying again the accusations he made unwanted romantic or sexual advances on teenage girls almost 40 years ago are “completely false.”

“I don’t know any of (the women),” he said.

Meanwhile, he spent much of his speech blasting the policies of his opponent, Democrat Doug Jones, while receiving ovations as he recited points illustrating how his philosophies are different…

…In explaining why he has come under attack, Moore compared it to the Russia probe.

“This is extravagant,” Moore said of the “false attacks” made against him – including not only the allegations from the women, he said, but also his family and his Foundation for Moral Law. “this is beyond being attacked for various things, having your family attacked. Politicians stop at nothing. They’ll publish false polls – which they are doing today. In trying to distort this, they’ll go to false attacks.

“Why are they doing this? I’m going to tell you why they are doing this. They are trying to hide the true issues which affect the people of this country and this state that they want resolved. It’s no different than when The Washington Post brought out the Russia investigation at a time when President Trump is trying to get his agenda passed.

MS. TRANSPARENCY: Claire McCaskill Used Company That Tried To Hide Her Travel On Private Plane From Public

The hypocrisy of Sen. Claire McCaskill (D., Mo.) smells pretty rank; the same woman who acted zealous about promoting oversight and transparency for congressional travel, even introducing a reform bill restricting overseas travel for lawmakers, used a company that operated her family’s private plane and asked the FAA to make the plane untrackable by the public, as documents from the Federal Aviation Administration reveal.

In 2011, McCaskill was found to have spent almost $76,000 in public funds since 2007 to use a charter plane she co-owned with her husband and other investors. Her spokeswoman, Maria Speiser, stated, “She has only paid for the use of her plane as required by the Senate rules, and there has been no profit to her or her family. She’s glad there’s transparency – that’s why people can see this information.”

McCaskill later sold her private plane for nearly $2 million after admitting she failed to pay more than $300,000 in state property taxes over four years. Then she and her husband bought a newer, more expensive plane in December 2013.

Despite her spokeswoman’s claims in 2011 that McCaskill was “glad there’s transparency,” The Washington Free Beacon reports, “The campaign payments were made to Aero Charter, a company based out of a small two-runway airport located near McCaskill’s home in the St. Louis suburbs that offers an aircraft management service for private plane owners. The Beacon added that according to email records, “Aero Charter’s vice president for operations wrote the April email to the FAA requesting that flight data be blocked for McCaskill’s plane.”

McCaskill’s current spokeswoman, Meira Bernstein, pointed out that Aero Charter made the request, not McCaskill. She stated, “The plane is regularly chartered out to other users, and my understanding is that AeroCharter made this decision to protect the privacy and security of users. Claire has been completely transparent about her use of the plane and no taxpayer or campaign dollars are ever used for the plane.”

The Beacon explains:

Prior to 2013, private aircraft owners or operators had to present a “certified security concern” to the FAA if they wanted to block their aircraft data from public display on websites such as FlightAware.com, where McCaskill’s plane could be tracked as recently as this year. However, changes made during the Obama administration removed this requirement and “make the aircraft blocking process as simple as possible.”

In 2017, as the Beacon reported, McCaskill spent roughly $21,000 to use her private plane on the campaign trail in just three months.

McCaskill had been slammed for saying at a town hall that “normal people can afford” to travel by private plane. She had been prompted by a pilot asking her whether she was in favor of privatizing air traffic control. She later tried to walk her answer back, remarking it was “of course not” a normal thing.

World’s Biggest Cuck To Criminalize “Verbal Violence” Against Women

One question: WTF is “verbal violence?”

Sky News reported Sunday that French President Emmanuel Macron intends to criminalize what he calls “verbal violence towards women.”

“Gender-based insults will be punishable by law,” he reportedly said. “Offenders will face a deterrent fine.”

When the hell did insults become violence?

“Many women have said that the first sexist violence they meet is in the street,” he added. “And many harassers practice wolf whistling and other types of verbal stigmatisation — and for a long time people reacted with indifference.”

Verbal stigmatization? Really?

“This is unacceptable. Women must feel comfortable in public spaces. Women in the republic must not be afraid to use public spaces. This must be one of the priorities of the police.”

Fair enough, but as noted by Emily Zanotti of The Daily Wire, “[T]he law is vague, and authorities appear to be given leeway to determine what constitutes a ‘gender-based insult’ on the fly, making what might be, in the United States, protected speech, punishable by law in France”:

Speech criminalization is a new and disturbing trend among both foreign and domestic governments. Although France is the first to criminalize “gender-based insults,” California has already taken action to stop “deliberate mis-gendering” in healthcare institutions, and is considering expanding those prohibitions.

Exactly. Criminalizing speech is dangerous. Moreover, laws protecting women and men from harassment, threats and whatever else already exist in France.

In fact, France just passed an official sexual harassment law five years ago making such harassment “a criminal offence on a par with moral harassment, with the most severe cases punishable by a three-year prison sentence and €45,000 fine,” according to The Guardian.

So why the heck is Macron now trying to criminalize so-called “verbal violence” — and only against women?

My guess is it’s because he’s a cuck …
