Trump Comes Up With New Name For Dick Durbin – It’s Hilarious.

President Donald Trump came up with a new moniker for Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) on Monday, claiming that he misrepresented what was said in the DACA meeting last Thursday.

Trump dubbed Durbin, who has a history of lying about private White House meetings, as “Dicky Durbin” in a tweet, which states: “Senator Dicky Durbin totally misrepresented what was said at the DACA meeting. Deals can’t get made when there is no trust! Durbin blew DACA and is hurting our Military.”

Trump has not denied the media’s claim that he said “s***hole.” Trump tweeted:

Trump later tweeted:

The only statement which the media attributed to him that Trump denies saying is “take them out.” It is possible that Trump is telling the truth when he says that his comments are being misrepresented because the context of the meeting was private and will never be fully known.

What is known is that the media has a well-documented history of misrepresenting his comments.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) proved on Sunday that Trump does care about Haiti when he revealed that the president, as a private citizen, was a large financial backer of a medical mission trip there which resulted in hundreds of Haitians getting life-changing eye surgery.

Martin Luther King Jr. Was A Reverend, Not A Doctor

Headlines abound to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on the anniversary of his birth. Far fewer commemorate Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. A simple Google search turns up seven times as many results for Doctor King as Reverend King. As ever, the Left pounces on euphemistic language to obscure the real nature of its object.

The Left celebrates Martin Luther King for all the wrong reasons. CNN tweeted praise for King, not because he healed racial division by preaching the Gospel, but rather because “he’s an environmental hero” and “he was a socialist before it was cool.” (Side note: socialism is not now and has never been cool.) We don’t regularly refer to pastors or ministers as “doctor.” None but the most pretentious and insecure humanities professors insists on the title. Fr. Joseph Ratzinger became Cardinal Ratzinger and later Pope Benedict XVI, but never “Dr. Ratzinger.” No one refers to the Protestant pastor Timothy Keller as “Dr. Keller.” Why does the Left uniformly pretend Martin Luther King Jr. carried a stethoscope?

Martin Luther King earned a doctorate in systematic theology with a dissertation exploring A Comparison of the Conceptions of God in the Thinking of Paul Tillich and Henry Nelson Wieman. He offered his ample intellectual and rhetorical gifts to found the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. He was even named, or rather renamed, after the German Christian theologian. The secular Left prefers a generically respectable Martin Luther King Jr. who peddled the shallow virtues of diversity, tolerance, multiculturalism, environmentalism—you name the cause celebre du jour—because the progressive agenda fundamentally opposes the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. animated by love of Christ who preached the Gospel even unto death.

As clips from “I Have A Dream” and “Letter From A Birmingham Jail” fill your social media timelines today, take a moment to watch Reverend King’s final and most magnificent speech, “I’ve Been To The Mountaintop”— his last public exclamation before being gunned down the following day.

I got into Memphis. And some began to say the threats, or talk about the threats that were out. What would happen to me from some of our sick white brothers? Well, I don’t know what will happen now. We’ve got some difficult days ahead. But it really doesn’t matter with me now, because I’ve been to the mountaintop. And I don’t mind.

Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I’m not concerned about that now. I just want to do God’s will. And He’s allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I’ve looked over. And I’ve seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land!

Historian SLAMS Jeff Flake on His Trump-Stalin Comparison: If Anybody Thinks Trump Controls the Media, They’re Crazy (VIDEO)

Historian SLAMS Jeff Flake on His Trump-Stalin Comparison: If Anybody Thinks Trump Controls the Media, They’re Crazy (VIDEO)

Presidential historian Doug Wead blasted Senator Jeff Flake for comparing President Trump to mass murderer and tyrant Joseph Stalin.

On Sunday RINO Jeff Flake compared President Trump to Joseph Stalin on ABC’s This Week.
Flake believes he’s a brilliant historian.

Flake also announced he was going to deliver a speech on the senate floor on Wednesday comparing Trump to Stalin.

On Monday historian Doug Wead slammed the outrageous comparisons by Flake.

Doug Wead: This is outrageous. This is an insult to your intelligence. It’s an insult to the millions of people who died at the hands of that butcher. It’s outrageous! And I saw another comment comparing him (Trump) to Hitler. Both Hitler and Stalin dominated their governments. They dominated the motion picture industry… If anybody thinks that Donald Trump controls the media the way Stalin and Hitler did, they’re crazy.

Why California is the ‘poverty capital of America’

An excellent op-ed in the L.A. Times today by Kerry Jackson is on why California – with its liberal politics and generous welfare system – is the “poverty capital of America.”

According to the Census Bureau, one out of five California residents is poor.  This despite the state’s per capita GDP rising twice as fast in the last five years as the national average.  From 1992 to 2015, state and local governments spent nearly $1 trillion to help the poor.  The state, with 12% of the American population, is home today to about one in three of the nation’s welfare recipients.

Jackson then reaches the not so astonishing conclusion: “The generous spending, then, has not only failed to decrease poverty; it actually seems to have made it worse.”

One of the big reasons for this is the total lack of welfare reform that would require those receiving government assistance to work.

The state and local bureaucracies that implement California’s antipoverty programs, however, resisted pro-work reforms.  In fact, California recipients of state aid receive a disproportionately large share of it in no-strings-attached cash disbursements.  It’s as though welfare reform passed California by, leaving a dependency trap in place.  Immigrants are falling into it: 55% of immigrant families in the state get some kind of means-tested benefits, compared with just 30% of natives.

There is also the “self-interest in the social-services community”:

As economist William A. Niskanen explained back in 1971, public agencies seek to maximize their budgets, through which they acquire increased power, status, comfort[,] and security.  To keep growing its budget, and hence its power, a welfare bureaucracy has an incentive to expand its “customer” base.  With 883,000 full-time-equivalent state and local employees in 2014, California has an enormous bureaucracy.  Many work in social services, and many would lose their jobs if the typical welfare client were to move off the welfare rolls.

Finally, housing costs make it impossible for even the middle class to get ahead:

Further contributing to the poverty problem is California’s housing crisis.  More than four in 10 households spent more than 30% of their income on housing in 2015.  A shortage of available units has driven prices ever higher, far above income increases.  And that shortage is a direct outgrowth of misguided policies.

“Counties and local governments have imposed restrictive land-use regulations that drove up the price of land and dwellings,” explains analyst Wendell Cox.  “Middle-income households have been forced to accept lower standards of living while the less fortunate have been driven into poverty by the high cost of housing.”  The California Environmental Quality Act, passed in 1971, is one example; it can add $1 million to the cost of completing a housing development, says Todd Williams, an Oakland attorney who chairs the Wendel Rosen Black & Dean land-use group.  CEQA costs have been known to shut down entire homebuilding projects.  CEQA reform would help increase housing supply, but there’s no real movement to change the law.

It has become so expensive to live in California that the cost of living actually becomes a disincentive to work.  Poor people are better off accepting the generous benefits offered by state and local governments rather than going to work.  In effect, the reason California is the poverty capital of America is that the state subsidizes poverty.  When you subsidize something, you get more of it.

This simple formula eludes the dolts who run the state.  They believe they can continue to tax and tax and spend and spend with no consequences to the economy or citizens of the state.

Lawmakers in Sacramento should take a close look at Illinois.  This is their future – a nearly failed state, deeply in debt, with taxes so high that tens of thousands of residents are leaving the state every year.  With so many resources, as well as Hollywood and Silicon Valley to pay for the state’s generosity toward the poor, California has been able to avoid judgment day.

But eventually, the state will run out of other people’s money, and the piper will have to be paid.

CBS, NBC Omit Illegal Immigrant Status of Greyhound Hostage Taker

Over the weekend, as the broadcast networks informed viewers of a hostage situation that took place on a Greyhound bus in Illinois, CBS and NBC both neglected to inform viewers that the perpetrator was an illegal immigrant while ABC’s World News Tonight on Saturday identified Marguerito Vargas Rosas as an “undocumented immigrant.”

CNN’s New Day Sunday also described him as an “undocumented immigrant,” while FNC tagged him as an “illegal immigran,” and additionally informed viewers that he had been deported five times already.

On Saturday, January 13, the morning news casts on CBS, NBC, and FNC all ran briefs on the story, with ABC running a full report of almost two minutes. Presumably because the story was relatively new, none of the shows initially mentioned the suspect’s illegal immigrant status. On Saturday evening, the NBC Nightly News was preempted (for an NFL playoff game) while the CBS Evening News ran a full report without mentioning the suspect’s illegal status.

By contrast, as ABC’s World News Tonight on Saturday ran a full report, correspondent Marci Gonzalez informed viewers: “The police arresting 33-year-old Marguerito Vargas Rosas, They say the undocumented immigrant from Mexico is now charged with making terrorist threats and disorderly conduct.”

On Sunday morning, CNN caught up with the story and ran two briefs on New Day Sunday. Co-host Victor Blackwell informed viewers: “The suspect is reportedly an undocumented immigrant who had been previously deported.”

Meanwhile, Fox and Friends Sunday temporary co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy avoided the politically correct “undocumented immigrant” term as she recalled: “An illegal immigrant now facing terror charges for threatening to kill passengers on a Greyhound bus.”

Sunday evening’s Fox Report devoted two and a half minutes to the story, with correspondent Bryan Llenas going furthest in informing viewers of how much of history the suspect has of illegally entering the U.S. Llenas: “The sheriff said Vargas Rosas is in the country illegally from Mexico. U.S. Customs and Border Patrol tells Fox News the 33-year-old suspect had been deported five times before — five. He previously has been arrested for a DUI.”

Finally, Monday’s Fox and Friends ran one more brief on the subject from newsreader Jillian Mele, which reiterated his illegal status and that he had already been deported five times.

15-Year-Old Black Student: MLK Would Be Proud of President Trump (VIDEO)

15-Year-Old Black Student: MLK Would Be Proud of President Trump (VIDEO)

CJ Pearson, a 15-year-old high school sophomore, is gaining massive support online after presenting the case for why Martin Luther King Jr. would be proud of President Donald Trump.

Pearson has been blogging about politics since he was just eight years old.

In the video, which has been viewed nearly 30,000 times, the passionate student argues that President Trump “has done more for black folks in one year than Obama did in eight.”

“Under President Trump, black employment is at an all-time low. This is also a president who set his sights on saving inner cities across America, lowering the violent crime in these cities so that black babies aren’t scared to go play in the playground without the threat of being shot hanging over their head,” Pearson began. “He’s also focused on bringing jobs to these communities, bringing economic investments to these communities and bringing rising wages to these communities.”

“Something that President Obama never did in the entirety of his eight years in office,” Pearson states.

The young student from Georgia, who comes from a Democratic family, goes on to credit the president for his work to save historically black colleges.

“I would argue that President Trump has lead a presidency that Martin Luther King would be proud of — and it’s kind of funny to say because everyone in the media and everyone on the left is hellbent on accusing this president of being a racist, a bigot and all these other baseless accusations that have no merit at all,” Pearson asserts.

Pearson grows upset as he discusses accusations of Trump being racist, and fiercely defends the president.

“I as a black teenager, I saw the devastation that liberal policies have had within the black community, I have seen the hurt that they have caused,” Pearson emotionally demands. “I have seen the pain that President Obama’s inaction has caused in places like Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta and so forth and so on.”

The teen concludes that MLK and Trump share the common goal that “America First” is “America together” and that both men believed that every person of every color deserves to thrive.

“As a 15 year old Black American, I saw firsthand the devastation the Obama Administration caused within my community. President Trump has sought to heal those wounds and has done a darn good job. Perhaps, the Left should take notes,” Pearson told the Gateway Pundit.

Breaking: DOJ Turns Over 1.2 Million Documents Related to 2016 Election to House Intel Committee

Breaking: DOJ Turns Over 1.2 Million Documents Related to 2016 Election to House Intel Committee

The Department of Justice turned over some of the 1.2 MILLION documents requested by lawmakers this past week.

The documents are related to DOJ activities during the 2016 election.

Chad Pergram from FOX News tweeted on Friday that the DOJ turned over some of the 1.2 million documents requested to the House Intelligence Committee.

TGP’s Cristina Laila reported on Friday the DOJ turned over all documents related to the Russia dossier to lawmakers earlier in the week.

According to the Daily Caller, Nunes and the House Intel Committee reviewed all FBI and DOJ docs on the dossier including the FISA apps.

Both Sara Carter and Sean Hannity reported this week Hillary’s phony Russia dossier was used to obtain a FISA warrant in order to spy on Trump’s campaign.

It appears those documents were strictly related to the phony dossier.

The documents mentioned by Chad Pergram may be a separate set of documents that include DOJ activity during the 2016 election.

It is becoming clear that the Obama DOJ and FBI worked to spy on and defeat the Trump Campaign — which is the largest political scandal in US history.

Governor May Be Getting Visit from Men in Black After Physically Threatening Trump

Outgoing Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, who in related news reportedly pardoned a slew of armed robbers this week in advance of his term in office expiring Saturday, vividly described on national television this Thursday his fantasy of beating up President Donald Trump.

“You would have to pick him up off the floor,” McAuliffe told MSNBC host Chris Matthews, responding to a question regarding how he would react if Trump tried to intimidate him the way he (Trump) allegedly intimidated then-Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton during the election debates two years ago.

“Listen, if this guy got in my space — you wanna get in my space? I’ve always said, ‘Chris, you punch me, I’m going to punch back twice as hard.’ And, it wouldn’t be hard to do it. But, you know, this guy thinks he can intimidate everybody. It’s disgraceful. It’s embarrassing,” he continued.

“If he ever came over and leaned on me and got in my space, that would be the last time Donald Trump ever did that.”

I’m sure Trump, who stands six foot three inches tall weighs 236 pounds, is trembling in his boots right now.

TRENDING: Always Check for This Black Triangle Symbol Next to Your Airplane Seat

Not!

Listen to McAuliffe’s tough guy talk below:

Just to clarify, Trump never tried to intimidate Clinton during the debates in 2016, as the Conservative Tribune explained at the time.

Do you think the Secret Service should pay him a visit?

What actually occurred was that during one particular town hall-styled debate in October, Clinton approached the audience from Trump’s side of the room.

When she did, Trump first impatiently circled the stage and then took a standing position by his podium, which just happened to be located behind Clinton:

Dovetailing back to McAuliffe’s menacing remarks, he made them the same week that he granted conditional pardons to several convicted thugs. As a reminder, the last time McAllife pardoned a bunch of thugs two years ago, one of them went on to commit some armed robberies.

RELATED: MSM Caught in Bold Faced Lie After Panama Ambassador Says He’s Leaving

And here McAuliffe is now, in 2018, not only releasing more thugs, but acting like a thug himself on live national television. He must be so proud.

Because what McAuliffe said falls short of a direct threat, it remains unclear whether the Secret Service actually intends to pay him a visit.

But if you ask me, they should not only visit him — they might want to rearrest McAuliffe’s beloved pardoned thugs as well.

Speaking of Sh*tholes, Look Who Just Slithered Out of Hers

What would a day of insane hate directed at a truthful albeit crude comment by President Trump be without the sorest election loser in the history of American politics chiming in with her two cents.

Pity poor Trump, he has been elected in a society that like the dystopian state in Orwell’s classic “1984” has eliminated the right to say that 2+2=4 and that corrupt, violent, poverty and disease-ridden  third-world countries can no longer be referred to as what they are – shitholes – because it offends the delicate sensibilities of snowflakes.

The rest of the planet (excluding the shitholes where they presumably don’t have cable television) has to be staring in alarm and wonderment as liberals and the now completely fascist Democratic party continue to destroy America from within.

And now, the biggest turd in the cesspool has just crawled out of her shithole to resume her bitter attacks against Trump because of her own incompetent campaign costing her election.

The incurable, festering wart on the ass of America cried crocodile tears for the residents of a country that was robbed blind by the Clinton Foundation and blasted Trump as a “racist” with one more wonderful example of why people in this country should be down on their knees every single morning thanking God that this twisted psychotic bitch didn’t bother campaigning in the Rust Belt.

While the establishment media predictably rallied around Mrs. Clinton, the Washington Examiner was one of the few that pointed out Hillary’s brazen hypocrisy on Haiti.

The following is excerpted from the column “Hillary Clinton is the last person who should be talking about Trump’s remarks on Haiti”:

There’s a lot that can be said against Trump’s tone. There’s even more that can be said against his reported claim that people from poor, predominantly brown countries make for undesirable immigrants.

But let that criticism come from someone other than former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Considering the Clinton Foundation’s shady-as-hell conduct in Haiti following the disastrous 2010 earthquake, she and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, would do well to spare us the righteous indignation.

“The anniversary of the devastating earthquake 8 years ago is a day to remember the tragedy, honor the resilient people of Haiti, & affirm America’s commitment to helping our neighbors,” Hillary Clinton’s Twitter account said Friday.

It added, “Instead, we‘re subjected to Trump’s ignorant, racist views of anyone who doesn’t look like him.”

This is rich coming from someone whose foundation did little to offer Haitian earthquake victims real, tangible aid, but a whole lot to assist donors with business interests in the country. Let’s check the board:

From the Washington Examiner in 2015:

Nearly five years after a 7.0 magnitude quake killed hundreds of thousands of its citizens, Haiti’s recovery efforts remain muddled and confused, with the whereabouts of the billions of dollars pledged by the international community an apparent mystery to the country’s leaders.

“We don’t know where the money has gone,” Raymond Joseph, former ambassador of Haiti to the U.S., said Friday in an interview on Bloomberg’s “Market Makers.” …

Joseph then recalled an event in 2012 when former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton, the U.S. envoy to Haiti, personally attended the launch of an industrial park that promised to create hundreds of thousands of jobs for Haitians desperate for work. That industrial park today has created only a fraction of the jobs promised.

“For example: The former Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, went down to Haiti in October 2012. Her husband was there and he was the U.S. Envoy to Haiti. The president of Haiti was there, all of the dignitaries were there, and they inaugurated the Caracol industrial park,” Joseph said.

“That Caracol industrial park was supposed to bring in 20,000 jobs in five years and 65,000 eventually. Well, Caracol only has one big company there. It’s a Korean textile manufacturer and only 4,000 jobs. So, you know, I take Caracol as the real example of how bad things are,” he added.

From ABC News in 2016:

Bill and Hillary Clinton have hailed the factory churning out Old Navy sweatshirts in an industrial park here as a shining achievement in their efforts to rebuild this island nation after a destructive earthquake in 2010.

But the garment factory has underdelivered on projected jobs. Haitian workers have accused managers of bullying and sexual harassment. And an ABC News investigation has found that after opening its factory in the Haitian industrial park — built with $400 million of global aid — the Korean firm became a Clinton Foundation donor and its owner invested in a startup company owned by Hillary Clinton’s former chief of staff. …

The post-quake projects nurtured along with $10 billion in international relief and hefty support from the U.S. government and the Clinton Foundation have, at best, had mixed results, experts told ABC News. Several of those initiatives have benefited Clinton friends and foundation donors as much as Haitians, Johnston said.

That same ABC News article reported at the time that fewer than 1,500 homes had been built in the years after aid was initially pledged to Haiti. Interestingly enough, as housing relief for victims languished, the Clinton Foundation “facilitated” the construction of a “luxury hotel in Port-au-Prince, a Marriott owned by Denis O’Brien, who has given $10 million to $25 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Because of course.

The New York Times in 2016:

Fewer than half the jobs promised at the industrial park, built after 366 farmers were evicted from their lands, have materialized. Many millions of dollars earmarked for relief efforts have yet to be spent. Mrs. Clinton’s brother Tony Rodham has turned up in business ventures on the island, setting off speculation about insider deals.

It seems that the only Clinton who grasped the magnitude of the foundation’s screw-up in Haiti was Chelsea, whose visit to the country in 2010 had her privately sounding the alarm.

The Clinton Foundation fell far, far short of its promise to the Haitian people. In some reports, the foundation actually did more harm than good. Many Haitians certainly seem to blame the Clintons for the stifled relief efforts.

So Hillary, spare us all your insincere bullshit about the poor victimized colored people in Haiti, you care about as much about them as you do about the white-working class or the African-Americans who you worked so hard to hoodwink into voting for your miserable ass. All that you cared about was using your criminal enterprise to exploit the Haitian victims and to make money off of their suffering.

Like Herpes, Hillary is forever….

Libs Freak Over Trump “S***hole” Comment, African Sociologist Says He’s Right

Though the entire left responded with exasperation to a report that President Donald Trump allegedly used the term “s**thole” to describe some of the poorest, crime-ridden nations on Earth this week, one African social scientist made it clear he agreed with the president’s alleged viewpoint.

“President Donald Trump is absolutely right,” said Mamady Traore, a sociologist from the West African nation of Guinea, according to The Associated Press.

“When you have heads of state who mess with the constitutions to perpetuate their power, when you have rebel factions that kill children, disembowel women as saints, who mutilate innocent civilians.”

As noted by the AP, during a private discussion with congressional Democrats and Republicans this Thursday regarding immigration policy, the president allegedly expressed interest in importing more immigrants from developed nations such as Norway versus undeveloped ones such as Haiti and El Salvador.

This comment subsequently triggered widespread outrage, with every liberal pundit, talking head and commentator decrying Trump’s alleged racism.

TRENDING: Always Check for This Black Triangle Symbol Next to Your Airplane Seat

Regarding Traore’s remarks, his point was that using terms such as “s**thole” to describe corrupt nations that mistreat their citizens seems perfectly fair. Are Haiti and El Salvador corrupt, though? Quite.

Writing for Reason magazine, researcher Tate Watkins argues that “the Haitian state and its leaders have perpetually hamstrung their own people, when not outright decimating them,” though he blames some of this on the U.S. government’s continued support for the nation’s nefarious government.

Conservative commentator Ben Domenech, who’s reportedly visited Haiti twice, added that Haiti is a “hellish place” that suffers from both a cholera epidemic and rampant sex trafficking.

Similarly, El Salvador has repeatedly been ranked at the most violent country in the world, with it registering “a homicide rate of roughly 116 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants — the highest in the world for a country not at war, and more than a 70 percent spike from the year before” — in 2016, according to the Huffington Post.

Do you see anything wrong with Trump’s alleged remark?

Let’s be clear here: These are, in fact, awful places to live, with the likelihood of a Haitian or El Salvadoran child being able to live a long and meaningful life far lower than normal.

Moreover, the idea of a political leader using salty language to describe a downtrodden country ought to be familiar to liberals, since their messiah, former President Barack Obama, once used similar language to describe Libya.

So why all the outrage?

Three words: Trump Derangement Syndrome.

RELATED: Governor May Be Getting Visit from Men in Black After Physically Threatening Trump

It’s true that using the term “s**thole” to describe Haiti and El Salvador is less than kosher, but Trump has spoken bluntly since the day he first announced his candidacy for office three years ago.

And in case you “safe space” liberals haven’t figured it out yet, Trump’s not going to change the way he speaks anytime soon — especially not for you.
