It was all anyone could talk about on Friday — President Trump’s alleged comment about “s***hole” countries. Now, it has come out that one of the main leftists claiming Trump made that comment has been show to lie in the past, especially regarding closed door meetings.

Enter Democrat Senator Dick Durbin.

One of his first public lies was exposed in 2013. While Durbin recounted his daughter’s tragic death due to congenital heart failure, he made some false and seemingly politically motivated statements about her health insurance. As reported by The Daily Caller at the time, “(Durbin) described his sick child’s preexisting condition as a reason to support Obamacare last week, but the Illinois Democrat neglected to mention that his late daughter was easily covered by existing insurance, and that he used taxpayer money to reward the hospital that treated her.”

It’s just a little bit sick to use your daughter’s death for political gain.

Now, let’s jump to the present day.

After the infamous closed door immigration meeting, Durbin told reporters that Trump referred to African countries as “s***holes.” Durbin called the alleged comment “hate-filled, vile and racist” and said “the most disheartening thing to me is my belief that that was the first time words that hateful had been spoken in the Oval Office of the White House.”

And with that statement, we have lie number two. Back in 2016, the Atlantic published a story citing that then President Barack Obama called the African country of Libya, a “s**t show.” Obama made this comment behind closed doors. Now, Durbin feigns shock at Trump’s statement, calling it the “first time words that hateful” have been spoken in the White House, when he knows full well that’s just not true.

Now we get to the third lie.

Again in 2013, Political ran a story about little liar Durbin.

“In a ‘negotiation’ meeting with the president, one GOP House Leader told [President Barack Obama]: ‘I cannot even stand to look at you,’ Durbin wrote in a post on his Facebook page over the weekend. 

However, both the White House and the House speaker’s office denied Durbin’s account of events.

Asked about the post in the White House daily briefing, press secretary Jay Carney said he checked with a participant of the meeting in question.

‘I looked into this and spoke with somebody who was in that meeting and it did not happen,’ Carney said”

Brendan Buck, spokesman for then-Speaker of the House John Boehner commented on Durbin’s claim. “Sen. Durbin’s accusation is a serious one, and it appears to have been invented out of thin air. The senator should disclose who told him this account of events, retract his reckless allegation immediately, and apologize.” (Emphasis added).

So you mean to say Durbin has made up complete fabrications about closed door meetings in the past?

While Durbin is sticking to his guns concerning his statement about Trump, the president has denied he ever said it.

He took to Twitter to deny the accusation:

So whether Durbin is right or wrong, his credibility deserves to be seriously called into question. After all, he already lied about a closed door meeting with a past president — who’s to say he wouldn’t do it again?

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is the latest company to announce good news resulting from the new Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

The company said it plans to invest more than $1 billion in the Warren Truck Assembly Plant in Michigan, as well as relocate the production of its Ram Heavy Duty truck in 2020, which is currently being manufactured in Saltillo, Mexico.

Moving a plant to Michigan would create about 2,500 jobs, Reuters reported.

The company also said it would give $2,000 bonuses to 60,000 of its U.S. employees, although the bonuses will not include senior leadership.

Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne said the recent tax reform bill factored into the company’s decision, explaining that they wanted to pass the savings on to employees.

“These announcements reflect our ongoing commitment to our U.S. manufacturing footprint and the dedicated employees who have contributed to FCA’s success,” Marchionne said in a statement, according to The Detroit News.

“It is only proper that our employees share in the savings generated by tax reform and that we openly acknowledge the resulting improvement in the U.S. business environment by investing in our industrial footprint accordingly,” he added.

It is awesome to see Americans winning thanks to common-sense tax reform.

President Donald Trump praised the move, calling it a “wise decision.”

Vice President also called the company’s decision a “great announcement” and proof that Trump’s “America First” policies are working.

Elon Musk’s SpaceX appears to have lost a mysterious government payload known as “Zuma” in their latest rocket launch.

TechCrunch reports that SpaceX’s latest rocket had a successful launch but the payload being carried by the rocket, codenamed “Zuma” and believed to be a spy satellite for the U.S. government, was unable to separate from the second stage of the Falcon 9 rocket. The Zuma payload is believed to have fallen back through the Earth’s atmosphere due to the failure to separate, as the second stage of the rocket is designed to fall back to earth and burn up on re-entry. Since the Zuma payload was attached to the second stage, it very well may have been destroyed.

The Falcon 9 rocket launched as scheduled on January 7 and the first stage of the booster landed in SpaceX’s Cape Canaveral facility. The Zuma payload was contracted for launch by Northrop Grumman for the U.S. government, Northrop then selected SpaceX as the carrier of the payload. SpaceX had already been approved for flying U.S. government payloads after the company successfully launched the U.S. Air Force’s X-47B spacecraft.

The Zuma satellite was likely worth billions of dollars, making this the second billion-dollar payload that SpaceX has lost in just two years. In September 2016, Facebook’s internet satellite was destroyed when the Falcon 9 rocket carrying it exploded. Contracts of this nature can be extremely lucrative, meaning that this could be a large setback for Musk’s space exploration company. Currently, SpaceX is facing fierce competition from ULA, a launch provider operated by Boeing and Lockheed Martin, both of which have long relationships with various elements of the U.S. government.

SpaceX’s comment on the issue seemed to imply that the reason the Zuma payload failed to detach in the second stage was not their fault but rather that of Northrop Grumman or perhaps the payload itself. SpaceX said in a statement “We do not comment on missions of this nature; but as of right now reviews of the data indicate Falcon 9 performed nominally.”

Update — Breitbart Tech received the following statement from  SpaceX:

“For clarity: after review of all data to date, Falcon 9 did everything correctly on Sunday night. If we or others find otherwise based on further review, we will report it immediately. Information published that is contrary to this statement is categorically false. Due to the classified nature of the payload, no further comment is possible.”

“Since the data reviewed so far indicates that no design, operational or other changes are needed, we do not anticipate any impact on the upcoming launch schedule. Falcon Heavy has been rolled out to launchpad LC-39A for a static fire later this week, to be followed shortly thereafter by its maiden flight. We are also preparing for an F9 launch for SES and the Luxembourg Government from SLC-40 in three weeks.”

Jack in the Box CEO Leonard Comma claimed “it just makes sense” to replace human workers in the restaurant industry with robots as the minimum wage increases.

“As we see the rising costs of labor, it just makes sense,” declared Comma at the ICR conference in Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday.

According to Business Insider, “Jack in the Box previously tested technology such as kiosks,” and “the kiosks resulted in a higher average check and helped with efficiency.”

“But at the time Comma said the cost of installing the kiosks wasn’t worth it,” they explained, adding, however, that “with minimum wages increasing, Jack in the Box is reconsidering the use of kiosks and other technology.”

This year, the minimum wage is increasing in 18 states, including Jack in the Box’s home state of California, where a $15 minimum wage will be implemented.

Eventually, all human workers at fast food restaurants could be replaced, with Momentum Machines raising $18 million for their robot-powered restaurant, which includes a robot that can produce over 400 hamburgers an hour, last year.

Last week, it was reported that LG Electronics is planning to sell robots that will replace human workers in hotels, airports, and supermarkets, while in September, a report claimed that four million British private sector jobs could be replaced by robots within ten years.

In 2017, Deutsche Bank CEO John Cryan also declared that a “big number” of his employees would be replaced by robots eventually, and Russian chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov encouraged people to embrace the replacement of human jobs by robots and start focusing on jobs that machines can’t perform.
