Pulse Gunman’s Wife: I Knew He Was Going To Orlando To Attack

Sounds like pretty clear accessory before the fact.

Via USA Today:

A handwritten statement given to the FBI by the wife of Pulse nightclub gunman Omar Mateen says she saw him prepare for the deadly attack for months and knew that the LGBT nightclub was his target.

The 12-page statement, quietly released by federal authorities at the end of December in a batch of records in the case, was taken hours after the June 12, 2016 shooting. The attack left 49 dead and dozens of others injured. Noor Salman was questioned for hours, without a lawyer, after authorities learned her husband was the gunman behind the attack.

She was arrested last year on federal charges of providing material support to a terrorist and tampering with evidence but has pleaded not guilty, claiming she was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. She said Mateen abused her and claims she did not know of his plot.

But her defense conflicts with the signed statement she gave to the FBI, which details her knowledge of Mateen’s planning and his path to carry out an attack on behalf of the Islamic State.

Black Unemployment Plunges Under Trump, Watch Democrats Cry Racism

In another sign that the economy is making great strides under President Donald Trump’s leadership, black unemployment levels have drastically fallen according to reports.

While you won’t hear it in the crooked media which is busily masturbating over the book from goofy gadfly Michael Wolff, Trump has presided over a skyrocketing stock market, job numbers that are improving steadily, companies that are cutting back on offshoring and a tax reform bill that will put more money into the pockets of working-class Americans.

The kicker is that despite the protestations of sore loser Democrats and racial grievance mongers who insist that Trump is a white supremacist or a Nazi, the prospects for African-Americans to find decent jobs have improved on his watch.

The numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show that black unemployment is at the lowest rate that it has seen since the 1970’s.

Via CNBC “Black unemployment rate falls to record low”:

Unemployment among black workers is at its lowest since at least the early 1970s, when the government began tracking the data.

The black unemployment rate of 6.8 percent in December was the lowest since the Bureau of Labor Statistics started tracking it in 1972, a year in which the rate ranged from 11.2 percent to 9.4 percent. In the 45 years the data has been tracked, the unemployment rate for black or African-American workers aged 16 years and older has never fallen below 7 percent.

Through last year, the black unemployment rate rose to 8 percent in March and fell back to 7 percent in September before falling again in December. The unemployment rate for white workers was 3.7 percent in December.

This, of course, doesn’t sit well with Democrats who have reaped the political benefits of keeping blacks locked inside of the gates of the party plantation and no Dems will be angrier than the members of the self-segregating Congressional Black Caucus.

The CBC clowns have had a nice racket going for decades. They rule over safely gerrymandered districts like vultures, always keeping the fires of racial resentment stoked while never doing a damned thing that helps to approve the lives of their constituents who are trapped in crime-ridden zones with little hope for upward mobility.

It may work for the CBC and the Democrats but it is unfair and punitive to the people who want to better their lot in life but are trapped in one of the dirtiest and cynical political games ever.

How long will it take for the spin that the numbers only prove that Trump is a racist to begin? It’ll be a few days after Wolff’s book becomes yesterday’s garbage and the Dems can get back to doing what they do best – race-baiting and promoting bigotry for political gain.

Liberal Leaders Now Running From Anti-Trump Dossier In Russia Probe

Because they now know the dossier sources and uses are going to be exposed and they want to blame something else for the start of the investigation. Because if opposition research started it and it was used to get the FISA warrant/s, they are going to be in deep doo and it shows the investigation was a political invention from the very beginning.

Via Washington Times:

Washington’s liberal establishment suddenly is running from the Democratic Party’s Russia dossier, which for months was fodder for Democrats to hurl charges against President Trump and his campaign.

A new liberal narrative has arisen since Rep. Devin Nunes, chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, launched a probe to find out who funded the salacious, unverified dossier and how the FBI used it against Trump people.

Mr. Nunes, California Republican, flushed out in federal court that the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee funded the dossier, moving money to a law firm and then to the opposition research firm Fusion GPS. Fusion then paid British ex-spy Christopher Steele, who in turn paid his Kremlin sources.

Of welfare reform and eating the rich

There’s another round of arguments brewing over welfare reform (or “workfare” as we used to say in the 90s), this time caused by hints that the Trump administration would begin granting waivers to states that want to impose work requirements on able-bodied recipients of Medicaid. These waivers were all denied under the Obama administration but, as you might expect, things are different now.

These rumors have led Washington Post editorial team member Elizabeth Bruenig to take to her keyboard and make a sweeping argument which goes far beyond the question of workfare. Taking time out to toss an endorsement to her husband’s liberal think tank, Bruenig goes several steps further and asks why it is that people should be expected to do any work at all in order to qualify for government assistance. To justify this argument, the author points out there are plenty of rich people who benefit from the government’s largesse without every doing a lick of market labor (and she’s very careful to make that distinction about work done for an hourly wage or weekly paycheck) so the system clearly isn’t fair. (Emphasis added)

Built into the claim that it’s only fair that poor people should be made to work for welfare are a few troubling assumptions: that poor people don’t or won’t work; that only compensated, market labor is real work; that society (and the state) always require work to precede income; and that each person is due to receive simply what they earn. Each of those is false…

But what about that small number of people who could work but, for whatever reason, don’t? Shouldn’t they have to? Well, before deciding whether it’s morally right for them to receive income without working, consider a far larger group that takes in far more money without toil: the idle rich. They soak up plenty of unearned money from the economy, in the form of rent, dividends and capital income. Salaries and wages — that is, money paid for work — only make up about 15 percent of the income of Americans making $10 million per year or more; the rest is capital income from simply owning assets.

And yet rarely do politicians inveigh against the laziness of the well-off. In fact, the government shells out huge sums of money to the rich every year through tax breaks and subsidies. As Syracuse University professor Christopher Faricy points out in his book “Welfare for the Wealthy,” the federal government is hardly generous with the poor alone. In 2016, for instance, Social Security kept 26.1 million people out of poverty to the tune of $911.4 billion paid out in disability and old-age pensions; during that same year, federal tax subsidies for the pensions of the more affluent totaled $179.9 billion .

That’s enough to make your head spin, although I have to admit that I haven’t read a good rant against, “the idle rich” from a liberal activist in a long time. Before going further I will freely admit that you’ll find a number of complaints in Bruenig’s article which are completely valid topics of debate on their own merits. If you think there are too many carve-outs in the tax code for the wealthy or for businesses, frequently running into the realm of crony capitalism, we should certainly debate removing them. I’m also in favor of means testing for Social Security recipients as one aspect of a much larger and badly needed push for entitlement reform.

But none of that is what the author is actually arguing here. She’s attempting to make the point that the affluent don’t have to “work” in order to receive “benefits” from the government, so why should lower-income Medicaid recipients? It’s difficult to imagine what sort of life journey leads to someone falling down that type of rabbit hole. First of all, it’s deceptive and dishonest to attempt to limit your definition of work to “market labor” as Bruenig does. Wealth is derived from the value you add to the system. For many that means the labor they perform for an employer. But her examples of, “rent, dividends and capital income” are all significant contributors and they also represent very tangible (and frequently sizable) risks that investors make in real estate, stocks or bonds. And nobody is “simply owning assets” to reap vast riches. All those assets had to be acquired, even if by inheritance from someone else who earned them.

And people in such situations aren’t applying for a government program to directly receive a taxpayer funded check every week. The “welfare” she refers to is not “unearned income” simply because the person wasn’t punching a clock. As far as benefits they receive from a generous tax code or Social Security payments when they really don’t need them, those aren’t special programs either, but things which are baked into the system. They may indeed be in need of reform, but none of it is welfare.

Finally, part of Bruenig’s underlying premise (helpfully backed up by her husband’s liberal think tank) is that none of these reforms are needed because almost nobody is actually collecting government benefits without working, right? I would remind you of other reform efforts which have produced data conflicting with hers over the past few years. Remember that, in Maine, they added seriously gentle work requirement for the SNAP program for recipients listed as ABAWDs, or able bodied adults without children between the ages of 18 and 49. As soon as they were required to list all of the income they were getting, participation in the program dropped by 80% in 90 days, saving the taxpayers millions. In Kansas, they instituted a similar workfare package over the outraged cries of liberals. This led to a decrease in participation and more people getting jobs, and a later study showed that those who left welfare saw their earnings increase by 104 percent in one year. In four years, these individuals saw their incomes increase by 247 percent.

There wouldn’t be that many people changing their status so quickly wherever workfare has been implemented if there wasn’t a certain element of gaming the system going on. This entire argument being put forth in the Washington Post is baffling and in conflict with reality and recent history.

Muslim Lawyer Says Raping Women Can Be Patriotic, Now He’s the One Dodging Rape

An Egyptian Muslim lawyer has been sentenced to three years in prison after he claimed that men have a “national duty” to rape women who wear ripped jeans.

Nabih al-Wahsh made the horrific remarks while participating on a panel on the Egyptian “Infra Show” on Oct. 19.

The topic of discussion was a proposed law on sex work, according to Al Arabiya.

Al-Wahsh denounced women who wear ripped jeans, adding that they were inviting men to harass them when they wore such clothing.

“Are you happy when you see a girl walking down the street with half of her behind showing?” he said, the BBC reported.

TRENDING: Sarah Shreds Reporters When Asked About Trump’s Mental Health

“I say that when a girl walks about like that, it is a patriotic duty to sexually harass her and a national duty to rape her,” he continued.

“Girls must respect themselves so others respect them. Protecting morals is more important than protecting borders.”

See his disgusting remarks in the video below:

This man represents everything that is wrong with Islamic culture in which women have little to no rights.

Egypt has a sexual violence problem, and it has been that way for decades.

This lawyer, and those who think like he does, provide a horrifying insight into the way many in these cultures perceive women.

Thankfully, al-Wahsh’s remarks sparked an outcry.

Egypt’s state prosecutor charged al-Wahsh with “publicly inciting to flout the law” and “spreading with malice reports and statements meant to perturb public order… and harm the public interest,” according to the U.K. Daily Mail.

Al-Wahsh was sentenced to three years in prison.

This is not the first time al-Wahsh has found himself in the middle of a controversy.

The Mail reported that last year, the lawyer appeared on a talk show where he argued with an Australian imam about Muslim women wearing hijabs. The imam claimed wearing a hijab is choice and not a requirement for Muslim women.

Al-Wahsh disagreed with the imam and became irate. In a moment of anger, he took off one of his shoes and beat the imam on the head with it. Al-Wahsh has also denied the Holocaust and said he would kill Israelis, the BBC reported.

When he finds himself behind bars, Al-Wahsh will be eating his words about rape as he learns to dodge rapists, murders and other criminals himself.

Trump Takes Second Swing at Pakistan, Shows $250 Million Cut Was Only the Beginning

President Donald Trump has once again proved his “America First” policy by cutting Pakistan off from U.S. security assistance.

According to The Associated Press, the decision was a result of Pakistan’s failure to crack down on the Taliban’s efforts to target U.S. personnel in Afghanistan.

In August last year, President Trump cut $255 million from the Pakistani government, limiting their ability to purchase American military equipment.

That was just the beginning.

On Jan. 1, President Trump expressed his frustration with former President Barack Obama’s administration for letting Pakistan take advantage of the United States and its resources.

TRENDING: Sarah Shreds Reporters When Asked About Trump’s Mental Health

“The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools,” Trump tweeted.

“They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!” he exclaimed.

Now, The New York Times has reported that Pakistan could lose $1.3 million annually in U.S. aid.

That $1 million usually goes toward Coalition Support Funds, which the U.S. pays to Pakistan for its counter-terrorism efforts.

But Pakistan hasn’t held up its side of the bargain, instead letting terrorists run rampant.

Moreover, the country has done nothing to protect U.S. personnel in Afghanistan from attacks.

President Trump is sending a strong message to the entire world that America does not support terrorism and that no one will take advantage of our good will.

Our president is putting America first, saving money and showing leaders of the world that the United States will not bow to anyone else’s agenda.

Lily Allen: Grooming Gang Victims Would Have Been Raped ‘By Somebody Else’ if Muslim Abusers Were Absent

Lily Allen: Grooming Gang Victims Would Have Been Raped ‘By Somebody Else’ if Muslim Abusers Were Absent

Pop singer Lily Allen has claimed Muslim grooming gang victims could have been “raped or abused by somebody else at some point” if the gangs were not active in the UK.

Ms. Allen also claimed that there is a certain “type” of rapist who attacks their stepdaughter and is 100 per cent “British white” during a discussion about Muslim rape gangs and immigration on Twitter.

Recent research by counter-extremism think tank Quilliam found that 84 per cent of grooming gang members are of ‘Asian’ origin, with founder Maajid Nawaz characterising them as “British South-Asian Muslim men”.

But when questioned about this reality, Ms. Allen sought to divert attention to the sexual crimes of others, and insisted the problem of sex abuse is so bad the victims of grooming gangs would have been attacked even if the gangs did not exist.

“Actually, there’s a strong possibility they would have been raped and abused by somebody else at some point. That’s kind of the issue,” she tweeted, after a user asked her if the young victims would have been abused if the perpetrators had not been allowed into the country.

After a barrage of criticism, she deleted the messages, made her account private, and issued a partial apology.

“If there are any victims of abuse and particularly any girls or women from Rochdale who saw my tweet and were negatively impacted, I apologize, of course. Being able to accept responsibility and apologize is a strength, not a weakness,” she bragged.

In another tweet, she claimed that “Type 2 Rapists” are 100 per cent “British white males,” describing them as “men that have sex with their stepdaughters twice a week for years at a time … neighbors, uncles, gardeners, priests, fast food restaurant managers that do it over and over again.”

She also proposed banning sports in response to claims about abuse in football.

“I think its time we talked about banning sport in this country. It’s clearly putting our young men and boys at risk of abuse. #banfootball,” she wrote.

Ms. Allen is a well know pro-mass migration activist who has stirred controversy before.

In October 2016, she went on the BBC “apologised” on behalf of the entire United Kingdom for the migrant crisis, before telling a Jewish man on Twitter he should be “twice as ashamed” because of his religion.

Brett Decker: ‘Trump in One Year Is Already Better Than 16 Years’ of Bush, Obama ‘Put Together’

“Trump in one year is already better than sixteen years of [George W. Bush and Barack Obama] put together,” said former Wall Street Journal editor Brett M. Decker, pointing to a current 17-year high in consumer confidence.

Decker, an expert on Asia and the bestselling author of Bowing to Beijing: How Barack Obama Is Hastening America’s Decline and Ushering a Century of Chinese Domination, joined Friday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight with Breitbart News’s Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon and Senior Editor-at-Large Rebecca Mansour.

“The leading indicator, when you dig into the data on why consumer confidence is high, is because people are anticipating higher wages,” said Decker. “The economy and consumer, they work logically. … What you’re seeing [are] the consequences of positive policy.”

President Donald Trump’s economic policies incentivize economic investment in America, said Decker, noting the mobility of capital in the modern era. “Businesses and consumers are [responding] logically” to the Trump administration’s economic policies, he added.

Decker rejected narratives crediting former President Barack Obama’s economic policies with recently developing economic figures during Trump’s presidential tenure, framing such assertions as “absolutely crazy”: “You look at the unemployment numbers, and it’s 4.1 percent. I look at Obama and Bush kind of combined, when I look at their block of sixteen years. Anyone that says this is inheriting some kind of Obama economy, he had eight years, and in 2010, the unemployment rate was 9.6 percent, absolutely crazy. … This idea that it has anything to do with Obama is absolutely crazy.”

Dropping unemployment rates, said Decker, will not be welcomed by all persons or interests. “Big business” interests, he said, prefer higher rates of unemployment given their depressive effects on wages. He also praised Trump’s emphasis on expanding domestic manufacturing. “When there are fewer people looking for jobs, you have to pay those few people more to take those jobs. What scares me about this is big business … seeing the unemployment numbers go down, and they’re like, ‘Oh, no. We’re going to have to pay these people more. We better call Paul Ryan and get him to flood us with cheap immigrant labor.’ So not everybody who looks at these numbers gets excited. There are different kinds of reactions.”

Decker went on to say that “one of [his] favorite things that Trump has done [was when] he was with some of the automakers, and he pointed to the head of Toyota of America, he said, ‘You have to build plants here.’ Within a short period of time, Toyota canceled a factory they were building in Mexico and said they were going to put it in the U.S., instead. What is that, a few thousand extra manufacturing jobs?”

Decker added, “Trade policy, I think, is one of the clearest areas where, if you look at the deindustrialization of America, how much government policy matters. The period between 1994, when NAFTA was passed, and 2014, a 20-year period … our trade deficit with [Canada and Mexico] went up 430 percent. … We get zero benefit out of these trade deals.”

America’s hemorrhaging of manufacturing jobs to other countries, said Decker, was economically disadvantageous: “Fundamentally, I think most people know in their heart of hearts, you can’t just be a consumer economy. If you want to consume anything, you have to make something. We’ve had decades of policy where we just decided we didn’t have to make anything anymore.”

Neo-conservative predictions of China’s political liberalization resulting from its deeper integration into the global economy had not borne out, said Bannon and Decker, with the former describing it as “one of biggest strategic mistakes” of modern Western political leadership.

Decker said, “This idea that you see among the neo-con right is, if you make [China] richer, eventually they’re gonna get more economic freedom. People are gonna demand more political freedom.” Bannon responded, “Oops. That was a miss,” and Decker agreed. “That was one of the biggest strategic mistakes,” said Bannon, adding, “When they look back at the history of this thing a hundred years from now, the Clinton and Bush administrations, the strategic miscalculation about China will go down in history as one of the greatest failures of the elites and the leadership of this country – the mid-nineties to up until, really, President Trump came on the scene, the whole ‘China’s gonna change.’”

Oil Boom: Trump Delivers Devastating Blow to OPEC

President Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again agenda is based upon placing the interests of “America first,” and a big part of that is making sure America is not simply energy independent, but dominant in the global energy market.

As such, the Department of Interior just announced a draft proposal plan that would unleash American energy production by opening up vast areas of our nation’s outer continental shelf to consideration for off-shore oil exploration and drilling.

Current policy put in place by the prior administration has nearly 94 percent of America’s OCS labeled as off-limits to exploration, but a new 5-year oil and gas leasing program would essentially reverse that number and potentially open up virtually all of America’s offshore resources for exploration and extraction, in a responsible manner.

“Responsibly developing our energy resources on the Outer Continental Shelf in a safe and well-regulated way is important to our economy and energy security, and it provides billions of dollars to fund the conservation of our coastlines, public lands and parks,” stated Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke.

“Today’s announcement lays out the options that are on the table and starts a lengthy and robust public comment period,” he continued. “Just like with mining, not all areas are appropriate for offshore drilling, and we will take that into consideration in the coming weeks.”

TRENDING: Fraud: Wolff Admits He’s Not Sure His Own Book Is True

“The important thing is we strike the right balance to protect our coasts and people while still powering America and achieving American Energy Dominance,” Zinke added.

The proposed program would include 47 potential new leases in 25 different areas, including 19 new leases off the coast of Alaska, 7 off the Pacific coast, 12 in the Gulf of Mexico and 9 along the Atlantic coast.

The goal of the program is to move America beyond simply aspiring to become energy independent and place the country on track to be highly competitive and dominant among other oil and gas producers around the globe.

The proposal, which is still in the public comment phase and has yet to be finalized, would be a significant shift in policy from that of former President Barack Obama’s administration, which sought to protect resources rather than exploit them.

“This is a clear difference between energy weakness and energy dominance,” Zinke stated, according to The Washington Post.

Of course, the reliably anti-Trump WaPo made sure to note the “controversy” surrounding the proposal and highlighted the opposition the plan is receiving from various governors, lawmakers and special interest groups, as well as the increased potential for environmental disasters.

Indeed, both Democrat and Republican governors and lawmakers in East Coast states from Florida to New Jersey have all said “not in my back yard” when it comes to new leases for off-shore drilling, citing potential economic damage to their beach tourism industry and even threatening legal action to prevent the new leases.

But the time to strike at energy dominance likely couldn’t be better, as the Financial Times noted that crude oil prices are once again on the rise for the first time since 2015.

RELATED: After Scarborough Asked Trump if He Could Read, Trump Picked up the Bible and Gave Perfect Response

The supply of oil produced globally has shrunk as Russia and the OPEC nations have reduced their production in an effort to push prices back up.

However, U.S. shale oil production is set to double this year over last, and with the accelerating U.S. economy pulling along the global GDP to nearly 3.6 percent growth, demand for oil is growing at a rapid clip.

When increased shale oil production is combined with new offshore oil production, the U.S. will be flush with energy resources in such a way that it won’t matter as much what the OPEC nations do with their oil production as the U.S. will be able to meet its own needs and set a price for everybody else.

Please share this story on Facebook and Twitter to let everyone know that President Trump’s Interior Department is planning to open up the vast majority of America’s off-shore continental shelf for oil and gas exploration.
