Black Trump intern has blistering message for liberals after being mocked for serving in White House

Jalen Drummond, a black intern at the White House, faced ridicule, racism, and more over his decision to work for President Donald Trump this summer.

The University of Alabama graduate faced heavy criticism after the White House interns’ photo surfaced on the internet, featuring his smiling face amid a sea of other interns.

What are the details?

In addition to criticism he faced on the internet, website Funny or Die even made Drummond’s appearance in the photo a meme, comparing him to the black protagonist from “Get Out.”

The film is a psychological thriller about racism, and features a young black man who meets his white girlfriend’s family for the first time. It doesn’t go well.

See the meme below.

The meme went viral on Facebook, and many other people piled on Drummond, calling him things like “white n***a,” and “house n***a.” Others called him an “Uncle Tom.”

What has Drummond said about the abuse he’s received?

Drummond remains undaunted by his sour online experience and has nothing negative to say about his experience with the president or at the White House.

In a Saturday tweet, Drummond wrote, “It was an incredible honor and privilege serving as one of @realDonaldTrump’s White House interns this summer. Of course, the so called ‘tolerant left’ wasted no time leveling racist and disgusting rhetoric my way!”

You can see the tweet, which contains screenshots of racial epithets, here.

The same day, Drummond shared a Facebook article detailing his experience at the White House, and the abuse he received from online peers as a result.

Drummond also shared a quote from the book of Matthew, which states, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”

In a since-deleted Facebook posting, Drummond expressed gratitude for the experience.

He wrote, “Thousands of individuals, many of whom are educated at Ivy League institutions and have connections to power, applied for one of these few coveted spots. Every single morning when I walked through the White House gates, I would pinch myself to remember that this wasn’t a dream.”

He added, “I say that because never in a million years would I have thought that such an opportunity would be bestowed upon me, an average kid who was raised in rural east Alabama and educated at a poor county school. However, we truly serve an almighty God and his plans are much bigger than man’s expectations. Serving as an intern in the Trump White House has been an experience of a lifetime, and I have made friendships that I will cherish forever.”

Anything else?

According to Alabama’s Randolph Leader, Drummond was recently appointed to serve as an adviser to Secretary Dr. Ben Carson in the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Drummond began his job on Sept. 4.

After he graduated from the University of Alabama — and before interning at the White House — Drummond interned with Alabama Rep. Mike Rogers (R) and served with Luther Strange’s campaign for U.S. Senate.

General Flynn Breaks His Silence At TGP’s Gateway Eagle Council XLVII: “Stand Ready to Fight for Our Way of Life”

General Michael Flynn with his son Michael, Jr., General Singlaub’s daughters and Phyllis Schlafly’s son John Schlafly.

Retired General Michael Flynn, irrefutably one of the most influential military figures in modern US History, was honored on Friday at the Gateway Eagle Council Event with a General Jack Singlaub Award for Service to America.

Against the high-stakes political backdrop of the US Midterm Elections, General Flynn relayed a clear signal to Americans across the political continuum, “The urgency to act is at the doorstep of our democracy. The future of this country depends on us.”

In his silence-breaking speech, General Flynn conveyed a vital picture of America, likening her to a dynamic real-time battlefield stating, “Stand ready to fight for our way of life and traditions, as those who oppose our fundamental principles could take us down in a snap of a finger.”

“You cannot and must not be silent or take for granted that our great nation will not fall to the many threats we face around the world and some right here at home, ” he forewarned, possibly alluding to the implications of revelations contained in key FISA-related documents that numerous high ranking members of the House Intelligence Committee have urged President Trump to declassify. Purportedly, the declassification of these FISA-related documents would provide incontrovertible evidence that numerous high level officials at the FBI, DOJ, US Intelligence Agencies and potentially the Obama White House participated in a highly coordinated deception operation using known disinformation underwritten by the Clinton Campaign to not only influence the outcome of the 2016 US Presidential Election but then continued the operation in order to undermine the duly elected President of the United States in a clear attempt overturn a pillar of democracy — the will of the American People.

“Our enemies will try to destroy us. There are seminal moments in history and others that are monumental,” Flynn underscored, communicating a critical time-sensitive message the content of which will undoubtedly resonate with patriotic Americans across the cultural and political divide.

Kavanaugh’s Accuser Has Even More Credibility Issues

Christine Blasey Ford has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her 36 years ago. There are tons of reasons to doubt her story: She doesn’t have any corroborating evidence, she waited until the eve of the confirmation vote to tell her story, her story is filled with inconsistencies, and she’s a registered democrat and liberal political activist. Believe or not there’s even more that puts her credibility in doubt, including that Kavanaugh’s mother was a judge that had foreclosed on Ford’s parent’s house.

Ford claims that in high school a drunk Brett Kavanaugh and his friend locked her in a room and held her down in an attempt to take her clothes off. Ford said she was worried Kavanaugh was going both rape and kill her. She said she was able to escape when the friend jumped on the bed and sent her tumbling out of the locked room into a bathroom. In her version of the story, she doesn’t know where this attempted assault took place, nor does she recall why she was there or how she got there. Also, for some reason she was wearing swimsuit under her clothes.

Her “evidence” for this is that she told her therapist about it 6 years ago and her husband backs her story up. She also took a polygraph that she says she passed. As Erick Erickson points out, there’s a ton of inconsistencies with all of this:

The lawyer claims Ford wanted anonymity. The Washington Post says she called a tip line.

It is worth nothing that Christine Ford’s first mention of Brett Kavanaugh came after the New York Times ran a story suggesting he could be on the Supreme Court if Mitt Romney were elected.

But beyond that, the story no longer adds up in real ways. Christine Ford’s lawyer claims Ms. Ford wanted anonymity and reached out to Dianne Feinstein privately. The Washington Post, however, reports that Ford first reached out to them via a tip line to tell her story.

Then, while still claiming to not want to come forward, Ford both lawyered up and got a polygraph.

She now claims she knew she would have to come forward because the media was working on stories and would expose her, but that comes full circle to her calling a tip line and outing herself.

Plus there’s this:

Likewise, we have the fact that her therapist described four assailants and Ford now claims that was an error on the therapists part. Though her therapist has detailed notes, she never writes down Kavanaugh’s name. We just have Ford’s husband claiming Ford named Kavanaugh at the time, but it was apparently not a detail significant enough for the therapist to record.

As if that weren’t enough, check this out from Town Hall columnist Kurt Schlichter:

Holy shit? Really? As if everything already wasn’t adding up, it looks like Ford picked Kavanaugh as her imaginary assailant because his mom foreclosed on her parents house. This is obviously an ideological fairy tale cooked up by a liberal activist who has a personal beef with the Kavanaugh family.

Maybe if Ford’s parents had been a little more financially responsible, she wouldn’t be trying to destroy the reputation of a good man. Then again, she is a democrat and this exactly the shitty kind of things they do.

Three crooks demand cash from gas station customer—who has concealed weapons permit. Nice try, guys.

A man who had just paid for his gas Saturday morning at a Shell station in West Palm Beach, Florida, was returning to his vehicle when three men approached him and demanded money, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office told the Sun Sentinel.

But their target — apparently in no mood to hand over his hard-earned cash — had a counter proposal for the trio of crooks.

“The victim, in fear of this life, discharged his firearm, which he has a concealed weapons permit for, striking one of the suspects,” sheriff’s spokeswoman Teri Barbera told the paper in a statement.

‘They tried to rob him, and he fired at them’

The gas station clerk — who would identify himself only as Mr. Nasser — told the Sun Sentinel the gun-toting customer appeared unhurt.

“The guy came in and paid for the gas, and they tried to rob him, and he fired at them,” Nasser told the paper. “He was not killed, but somebody was injured.”

Barbera noted to the Sun Sentinel that while all three suspects fled and that cops were still looking for two of them, the injured suspect is in custody and is expected to survive his wounds.

Now what?

The paper said there was no immediate word on whether the customer who fired the shots would face any charges.

In San Francisco, car owners now begging ‘smash and grab’ thieves to find another target

In addition to the street people leaving poop on the sidewalk, San Francisco has another serious crime problem that authorities have failed to address. Last week ABC 7 News reported that some city residents have had their cars broken into so many times they are now placing notes in the windows begging the thieves to move on to another car.

Fed up with having his vehicle broken into four times over a year and a half, Felix Kubin decided to express his frustration, writing on the rear windshield, “Thank you for letting this glass remain unbroken. We are a poor family with two kids. No values inside except diapers.”…

Kubin and his wife learned what would work the hard way. First break in, they lost $1,500 worth of sporting goods.

“I think maybe it’s my fault I left the car in such a place,” said Kubin.

Second break-in, they lost just a bag, but in a third break in at Golden Gate Park, much more.

“That time we was really upset because it was all my official papers,” said Kubin.

“My passport, social security, working permit, everything, it was my wallet, it was two phones,” he continued.

On the fourth break-in, the thieves realized there was only baby formula inside and didn’t take anything. That gave Kubin the idea to start writing the notes on his own car. And he’s not alone. Reporter Melanie Woodrow collected these images online:

One reason the break-ins have become so common is that almost no one is ever arrested in these cases. Back in January, the San Francisco Chronicle reported there had been 81,000 reported break-ins over a period of seven years, but only 13 cases resulted in arrests:

Of the more than 81,000 online reports of auto break-ins that victims filed in San Francisco over the past seven years, a mere 13 cases resulted in arrests…

At an average of 85 auto break-ins a day in San Francisco, Police Chief Bill Scott has said it’s not practical for officers to show up and investigate every case, and there is often little evidence left at the scene to collect. Therefore, most incidents — 62 percent from 2011 to 2017 — were filed online. But just 13 of the 81,511 cases filed that way led to arrests, according to data provided by the San Francisco district attorney’s office.

Police still arrested 446 people for auto burglary from January to November of 2017, but only one suspect was linked to an online report, according to the D.A.’s data.

“It’s astonishing,” Kirk Schwyn said Thursday afternoon upon learning about the clearance rate while his truck’s window was repaired at Auto Glass Now on Bryant Street. “They sound overwhelmed. Either that or somebody has just given up.”

So, of course, if no one is being caught, the thieves are going to keep doing what they are doing. The Chronicle had another report in February of this year in which a brick mason described seeing over 100 break-ins while working on Lombard street. In fact, while he was telling the reporter his story, he and the reporter witnessed another break-in:

Just then, we saw a white Volkswagen sedan with a paper license plate drive by and turn south onto Hyde Street. It circled and drove by again. And then again…

As we talked, the Volkswagen drove by again and again, circling seven or eight times. Finally, it came to a stop next to a white Dodge Grand Caravan.

A man in a gray sweatshirt jumped out, quickly shattered the middle of three windows on the driver’s side, and reached in so far his waist was balanced on the door and his legs and feet were in the air. He emerged with a backpack and dashed back into the VW. It took just a few seconds.

The car sped off, again turning south on Hyde Street. This time it didn’t circle back around.

Plain-clothes officers, who’d been called by a neighbor, were too far away to do anything. The thieves got away, though a Chronicle photographer got photos of the thief in the act. The victim turned out to be a Chinese tourist who had lost $400 and his passport.

It turns out KPIX, the CBS affiliate in San Francisco ran a similar story earlier this month. Here’s their take on it:

Finally, Inside Edition did a sting just last week by placing bait items with GPS trackers in a car parked in San Francisco and then waiting for someone to steal them. It didn’t take long. And thanks to the GPS, the pair of thieves are confronted on camera. But stick around for the surprise ending. Things don’t quite work out as planned for the reporters.
