Media Asks Sarah Sanders About Using 25th Amendment On Trump. She SHREDS Them.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders smacked the media during Monday’s press briefing after she was asked about using the 25th Amendment to remove President Donald Trump from office.
"What does the president make of all this talk of the 25th amendment and some of what he hears on media outlets regarding the word ‘crazy talk?’" a reporter asked Sanders. "It seems there’s a lot of talk about that on many of the mainstream media outlets."

Trump administration will close the Palestine Liberation Organization office in DC

The Trump administration announced Monday that it will close the main office for the Palestine Liberation Organization in Washington, D.C.

What is the PLO?

The PLO is a group in charge of the Palestinian people in the West Bank. It does this through the Palestinian Authority, a governing body that it created.

While the charter laying out the initial organization of the PLO charter called for the destruction of Israel in 33 separate articles, it formally recognized Israel’s right to exist in 1993, in return for Israel recognizing it as the “official representative” of and the point of contact for the Palestinian people.

Even when the PLO had agreed to recognize Israel’s right to exist, its former leader Yasser Arafat refused to entertain the idea that Israel could retain even part of Jerusalem. Arafat also appointed members of the terrorist group Hamas to posts in the Palestinian Authority.

The PLO is headed by Mahmoud Abbas, who took control of the organization after Arafat died in 2004.

What happened Monday?

The Trump administration gave official notice to the PLO that it would be closing their office in Washington, D.C. National security adviser John Bolton said that the decision had been influenced by the PLO’s lack of cooperation on the peace process in the Middle East.

“The United States will always stand with our friend and ally, Israel,” Bolton said on Monday. “The Trump administration will not keep the office open when the Palestinians refuse to take steps to start direct and meaningful negotiations with Israel.”

The PLO responded

In a news release, senior Palestinian diplomat Dr. Saeb Erekat called this move “dangerous escalation” that “shows that the U.S. is willing to disband the international system in order to protect Israeli crimes and attacks against the land and people of Palestine as well as against peace and security in the rest of our region.”

What else?

This follows the State Department announcing in August that it would cut more than $200 million in U.S. aid to the Palestinian authority. The State Department cut the funds after it conducted a review and decided that the funds were not being spent “in accordance with U.S. national interests and provide value to the U.S. taxpayer.”

Bolton to ICC: You’re “dead to us”

Technically true since its creation, but John Bolton wants to make the point excruciatingly clear. Neither the US nor Israel participates in the treaty that established the International Criminal Court, AKA “The Hague,” which means that it takes an act of the UN Security Council to charge nationals of either nation (and other non-signatories). The ICC suggested that they might start probing US war crimes in Afghanistan anyway, which prompted today’s Bolton blast — including threats of personal sanctions against ICC judges and investigators:

The United States will not in any way cooperate with the International Criminal Court, national security adviser John Bolton announced in a speech to the Federalist Society on Monday, blasting the ICC as an unaccountable, bureaucratic body that runs counter to the U.S. Constitution and is “antithetical to our nation’s ideals.”

In his first speech as national security adviser, Bolton made the case that the ICC’s authority is invalid, subverts American sovereignty, and concentrates power in the hands of an unchecked authority in a way that is “antithetical to our nation’s ideals.” Bolton’s speech comes after the ICC in November 2017 the ICC prosecutor asked to investigate crimes allegedly committed by members of the U.S. military who served in Afghanistan. Bolton called those claims unfounded. The national security adviser said it was no coincidence he made his speech on the ICC one day before the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks.

“Today, on the eve of September 11th, I want to deliver a clear and unambiguous message on behalf of the President of the United States,” Bolton said. “The United States will use any means necessary to protect our citizens and those of our allies from unjust prosecution by this illegitimate court. We will not cooperate with the ICC,” Bolton said. “We will provide no assistance to the ICC. And we certainly will not join the ICC. We will let the ICC die on its own. After all, for all intents and purposes, the ICC is already dead to us.”

Bolton explicitly made clear just how far the Trump administration was prepared to go to ensure it remains dead. That applies to more than just the ICC, too:

Among the responses, Mr. Bolton says, the U.S. would ban ICC judges and prosecutors from entering the country.

“We will sanction their funds in the U.S. financial system, and we will prosecute them in the U.S. criminal system,” Mr. Bolton adds. “We will do the same for any company or state that assists an ICC investigation of Americans.”

To get that point across, the Trump administration ordered the closure of the Washington office of the Palestine Liberation Organization. The PLO and the Palestinian Authority demanded that the ICC prosecute Israel and its leaders for crimes against the Palestinian people, and the ICC recently declared that it was “gathering information” on those complaints. The official reason given was its lack of effort in producing a peace settlement, but the State Department also made it clear that it’s payback for the ICC move. Plus, the Washington Post notes that they’re statutorily required to act in the case of an ICC referral:

The Trump administration has ordered the closure of the Palestine Liberation Organization office in Washington because the PLO “has not taken steps to advance the start of direct and meaningful negotiations with Israel,” the State Department said Monday.

The decision follows an extended period of estrangement between the Palestinian Authority government on the West Bank and the administration, which has already canceled most U.S. aid to Palestinians and recognized Jerusalem as the Israeli capital. Those moves earlier this year provoked Palestinian withdrawal from talks over a still-to-be-released U.S. plan for peace between Israel and the Palestinians.

“PLO leadership has condemned a U.S. peace plan they have not yet seen and refused to engage with the U.S. government with respect to peace efforts and otherwise,” the statement said. The office has been instructed to close no later than Oct. 10. …

In announcing the closure, the State Department said it was “consistent with” concerns about Palestinian calls for an investigation of Israel by the International Criminal Court. Neither the United States nor Israel recognizes the ICC, and existing U.S. legislation calls for closure of the PLO office following any Palestinian move to use it against Israel.

Even if the ICC was to take up a prosecution of Americans and Israelis, the US could nix that with its Security Council veto. The Palestinians want to use the ICC because it’s the only high-profile multilateral organization which they can use to harass Israel, and the ICC is apparently sympathetic to their publicity efforts. It’s less clear why they’d provoke the US directly at the same time, especially with Bolton and Donald Trump making those decisions. Even apart from that, the previous two administrations would not have countenanced an ICC probe of Americans either, although the Obama administration would likely have just quietly exercised the veto rather than impose sanctions.

Trump and Bolton want to leave no doubt about our resolve to exercise sovereignty over our armed forces wherever they may be. With our troops conducting peacekeeping missions all over the world, it’s a critical point to emphasize for the future.

Twitter Suspends Benghazi Hero Kris Paronto For the SECOND TIME in a Week

Twitter Suspends Benghazi Hero Kris Paronto For the SECOND TIME in a Week

Kris ‘Tanto’ Paronto

On Friday, Obama said in a speech that Republicans have embraced wild conspiracy theories surrounding the Benghazi attack.

Barack Obama: “The politics of division and paranoia has found a home, unfortunately, in the Republican party. … they’ve embraced wild conspiracy theories by those surrounding Benghazi. Or my birth certificate.”

A Twitter fight began after a left-wing troll tweeted to Rob O’Neill that Obama “kinda killed Bin Laden.”

Rob O’Neil is the Navy SEAL who killed Bin Laden so there was quite a backlash.

Army Ranger Kris Paronto slammed the left-wing troll and Obama and Twitter subsequently gave him a 12-hour suspension for this tweet:

OMG??!! Did you just tell the guy who Shot Bin Laden that @BarackObama did it? BWAHAHAHA Thank you for verifying that BHussein Obama worship and TDS causes liberals to skip retard and go straight to potato. #YouAreAnIdiot #NeverGoFullRetard

Paronto was suspended a SECOND TIME for tweeting out a screenshot of his ‘offensive’ tweet with a very benign caption criticizing Jack Dorsey.

Paronto was forced to delete another tweet (screenshot below)

It is unclear how this tweet violates Twitter’s ‘Terms of Service’ against ‘hateful conduct’ since nothing even remotely hateful was tweeted–certainly it’s just an ‘algorithm error.’

For the record, Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood and Louis Farrakhan all have active Twitter accounts but Kris Paronto has been suspended twice in a week.

Kyle Kashuv Uses His Knowledge of Fellow Student David Hogg To Crush Him

Kyle Kashuv Uses His Knowledge of Fellow Student David Hogg To Crush Him

Kyle Kashuv, left, and David HoggGetty ImagesSecond Amendment supporter Kyle Kashuv nailed fellow Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg with a blistering tweet highlighting the anti-gun movement’s hypocrisy.

The Kyle Kashuv-David Hogg Twitter war keeps on going, and Kashuv keeps on running up the score.

For the very few Americans who might still be unfamiliar with the two, Hogg and Kashuv both survived the Parkland shooting. Hogg went on to become the young voice of gun control, Kashuv a nationally known Second Amendment defender who believes security and and preparedness are the best way to defend against mass shootings.

When we recently saw the two facing off on Twitter, Hogg had tweeted something about how fighting bad guys with guns with good guys with guns is like fighting wildfires with more fires — it doesn’t work. Kashuv pointed out that controlled burns are actually one of the best ways to stop wildfires. Point and match.

The latest face-off has to do with Ken Paxton, the Texas attorney general the National Rifle Association just endorsed for another term.

This was Hogg’s reply:

Now, it’s worth pointing out one thing here that Hogg’s lawyers probably should have alerted him to: Paxton isn’t a felon. He’s been charged in a securities case that dates back to 2015 and has been delayed multiple times. He’s also beaten two similar cases in the past, according to the Dallas Morning News.

The likelihood Hogg faces a lawsuit from Paxton is probably minimal (governors have other things to do with their time.) But Kashuv nailed Hogg for the tweet in a way that might be even worse than being sued.

He made Hogg look like an idiot.

Yes, Vic Mensa — the rapper who performed at the “March for Our Lives” anti-gun demonstration in Washington in March — has a previous conviction for a firearms offense in 2017.

According to USA Today, the rapper was pulled over by police after running a stop sign in Beverly Hills, California.

“Police found a loaded firearm in the car. Although Mensa had a license to carry in another state, the permit was not valid in California. After his arrest, Mensa was released on $35,000 bail.

Mensa — full name Victor Kwesi Mensah — pled guilty in July of 2017 and received two years probation.

If only he’d supported concealed carry reciprocity instead of performing at hypocritical gun control rallies, perhaps none of this would have ever happened. But I digress.

As for Hogg and Kashuv, it seems like Kashuv knows where to look when it comes to Hogg’s weaknesses.

I guess going to high school with a guy for a while will do that.

He knows that Hogg is full of bluster and that he makes not-infrequent mistakes, usually because he’s obviously sloppy and even more obviously likes attention. Vic Mensa got him that attention. Tweeting about Ken Paxton did, too.

Unfortunately, they worked at cross-purposes. As usual.

Benghazi hero: I’d like to ‘choke’ Obama for ‘wild conspiracy theories’ comment related to attack

A Benghazi hero said he’d like to “choke” former President Barack Obama after the Democrat noted during his headline-grabbing Friday speech that Republican outrage over the deadly 2012 attack was the result of “wild conspiracy theories.”

Kris Paronto — a former U.S. Army Ranger and CIA contractor who was guarding the Benghazi compound during the coordinated terror attack that took four American lives, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens — didn’t hide his anger at Obama during a Fox News interview Sunday.

What did Paronto say?

“It’s disgusting. It just raises the bile inside of me. I had a hard time just watching the speech itself,” Paronto told host Pete Hegseth. “I just wanted to see what he had to say. And when that came across, I just wanted to reach through the screen and just grab him — grab him and choke him and say, ‘Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me that you’d have the gall to disgrace the memory of my teammates and what we did there that night by calling it conspiracy?’ But that’s a narcissist for you.”

Speaking of wild conspiracy theories, Paronto also blasted Obama and his administration for blaming the Benghazi attack on a YouTube video that was offensive to Muslims around the world and then arresting the video’s creator, noting Obama and his allies on the left try to “rewrite history” if the facts don’t “fit their narrative.”

“Honestly, the man is a disgrace, just a complete disgrace,” Paronto said of Obama before adding that “I wish I had that man sitting in front of me right now, I really do, without his Secret Service, to be honest with you.” Paronto appeared to punch his fist into his palm.

Hegseth told Paronto to be careful with his comments about the former president, but the veteran didn’t seem concerned, noting that “it doesn’t get yourself away from saying comments, especially [when] buddies of mine died in front of me.”

What else did Paronto say?

Paronto also blasted Obama on Twitter in response to his speech:

Paronto said Twitter suspended him over another post

Robert J. O’Neill, a former Navy SEAL who said he fired the fatal Osama bin Laden head shots, also blasted Obama’s speech — and another Twitter user actually replied that Obama “kinda killed” Bin Laden:

Well, that apparently was a bit much for Paronto, who tore into the Twitter user in question — noting later his words got him suspended:

Waters: I Threaten Trump Supporters ‘All the Time’

Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) said on Saturday that she threatens President Donald Trump supporters "all the time" but that she wasn’t promoting "violence" in June when she called on supporters to harass Trump administration officials.

Waters was speaking to a group in Los Angeles when she attempted to clarify her previous comments.

"I did not threaten [Trump] constituents and supporters. I do that all the time, but I didn’t do that that time," she said. Her comment was met with laughter from the crowd.

In June, Waters said, "If you see anybody from [Trump’s] cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere."

Trump responded on Twitter, writing, "Congresswoman Maxine Waters, an extraordinarily low IQ person, has become, together with Nancy Pelosi, the Face of the Democrat Party. She has just called for harm to supporters, of which there are many, of the Make America Great Again movement. Be careful what you wish for Max!"

During the Los Angeles event, Waters repeated the statement she made in June, defending it and criticizing those who classified it as violence.

She said, "What bothered me so much was they tried to frame that as violence. That was not violence. The poster child for violence is the president of the United States." People in the crowd responded in agreement, with one women yelling "amen."

"I do not advocate violence. I do not believe you should hit, kick, shoot … We have to tell people the difference between violence and incivility and protesting," Waters said.

Waters made the remarks at an event hosted by the Stonewall Young Democratic Club where she received the group’s "Lifetime Achievement Award" for her work "leading the fight to protect our Democratic ideals."
