No Joke: Leftists Call Model Supporting Trump a Nazi…Ignore Fact That She’s Jewish

How indiscriminately is the left using the word “Nazi” against supporters of Donald Trump?

Indiscriminately enough that they’re using that epithet against a Jewish model.

Yes, according to The Washington Free Beacon, 23-year-old Elizabeth Pipko worked for Donald Trump’s campaign back in 2016. She didn’t tell anybody because she thought that the fashion community might not be, ahem, understanding.

She was right: “Last month she came out as pro-Trump, and she’s already being called a Nazi,” The Beacon reported.

Yes, that’s right. She’s a member of a religion that the Nazis targeted with genocide and she’s still a Nazi. That’s where we are now.

The coming-out was in the most public of venues: the pages of the New York Post.

“I decided to volunteer for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in the spring of 2016. I never leaned liberal or conservative, but there was something about Trump — the way he spoke and his honesty — that had me convinced he was our next president,” she wrote in a piece published Jan. 26.

Are you glad Elizabeth is standing up for her beliefs?

“I worked in a call center in Trump Tower. Within eight weeks, I was hired as a national volunteer services coordinator for the data team and paid $4,000 a month.

“It was clear from the start that, if I wanted to survive in modeling, I couldn’t tell anyone about my new job,” she continued.

“Once, after working a 10-hour-day on the Trump campaign, I went to meet with my manager (who was not affiliated with a modeling agency). He and a colleague were enraged, screaming about how much they hate Trump. My manager kept saying how evil the people who work for him must be and that he would never work with anyone who supported him.”

So she decided to tell people that she was coaching figure skating. Now that the world knows the truth, though, it’s high time for the invective to begin.

“Since admitting my support for the president and my work for the 2016 Trump campaign, I have been the target of some extremely inappropriate comments and insults,” the model told The Daily Wire.

“The words that people are using to address me are words that should never be used to speak to anyone, but more importantly, words that should never be used to attack someone simply because of their political beliefs.”

Those comments, she said, included being called a “Nazi.”

“I am extremely proud to be an American and to live in a country where we are free to believe in anything that we choose, and the fact that people are now using people’s political affiliations as a base for their disgusting attacks is extremely worrisome for the future of our country,” she said.

This is hardly a surprise, unfortunately. Take when the president gave his speech offering concessions to Democrats during the shutdown impasse. In an appearance on MSNBC, podcaster Fernand Amandi said it was “a successful 100 percent note-for-note recreation of 1933 Nazi Germany in the tone and the rhetoric and the language of that speech.”

Rep. Hank Johnson — the Georgia Democrat who once thought that the island of Guam might tip over because of too many servicemembers stationed there — said of the president, “Much like Hitler took over the Nazi Party, Trump has taken over the Republican Party.”

Pipko may have lost modeling gigs and been subject to abuse, but at the very least, things seemed to have turned out all right otherwise. She’s married to someone she met on the 2016 Trump team — he’s working on the re-election campaign — and got married at Mar-a-Lago. She even wore a MAGA cap:

Happy endings aside, this represents the ultimate problem with the “Nazi” insult. When it gets flung around indiscriminately, it doesn’t just get flung at the president. It’ll never end there. After all, if you follow a Nazi, you yourself are a Nazi.

Even if you’re Jewish. Even if you’re someone the Nazis wanted to rid the world of. That’s how rabid the left is now.

Video: Venezuelans Beg Americans Not To Adopt Socialism that Destroyed Their Country

If a president, during a State of the Union address 50 years ago, uttered the words “America will never be a socialist country,” the threat he was talking about would have been the Soviet Union. After all, socialism and communism got little traction in the United States, even during the Great Depression. The idea that anyone would consent to have it imposed upon them democratically would have been patently absurd.

Not so much in 2019. As President Donald Trump said that line during his speech before a joint session of Congress on Tuesday night, in the chamber was a self-described socialist who currently sits second in the polls for the Democratic nomination for president. Another self-described socialist has become a media darling and is known, after just one month in office, by her initials alone.

That was surprising enough. What was even more surprising is the fact that the rest of the Democratic side of the chamber didn’t applaud, as well.

But that’s the thing about socialism: It’s hot right now. It was hot down in Venezuela once upon a time. Now, a loaf of bread will probably cost you as much as a car, except it’s hard to tell since most Venezuelans would be hard pressed to own either.

In a video posted by Campus Reform earlier this week, Cabot Phillips went out to talk to Venezuelan expatriates in Washington, D.C. to talk about the impact socialism has had on their home country, a country where socialist President Nicolás Maduro is desperately holding onto power as protests rage and international governments begin to recognize the opposition figure, Juan Guaido, as the country’s legitimate leader.

TRENDING: If the Va. AG Can’t Take Governorship, Guess Who Takes Over: The GOP’s Speaker of the Va. House

Phillips began with one simple question for the Venezuelans: “What would be your message to people who think socialism would be a good idea here?”

“Look yourself in the mirror of Venezuela and Cuba. You do not want anyone even close to socialism to come to this country,” one man said, almost putting a period after each word.

“People are eating from trash bags in the street,” another woman said. “So, how has socialism actually helped the country?”

Well, good question.

Do you think America will ever turn socialist?

“From the perspective of people who’ve lived through failed socialism, it’s very hard to accomplish,” another interviewee said.

“It doesn’t work the way the book says it works because we’re human and we have imperfections and socialism is too perfect to be true,” said another.

But this was perhaps the best warning: “I don’t think any Venezuelan can really like socialism because we’ve seen it put in place very well,” one woman said.

Later, she added ominously: “We also thought that this could never happen in our country. We had a balance of powers. We had democracy and we elected our leaders.”

And look what happened.

This is what happens when you elect socialists. Keep in mind, Hugo Chávez was insanely popular in Venezuela, particularly when oil prices were high and the spigot was flowing.

Now, even if oil prices rise, Venezuela won’t be able to profit because the Chávez government refused to invest in oil infrastructure, preferring to redistribute that money; hence, production is way down. Then there’s hyperinflation, the fact that Máduro’s own people are revolting and the fact that a growing number of countries don’t even think he’s the rightful president.

And that’s where we come back to the United States.

“Bernie Sanders is your enemy,” one of the men said. “Do not ever get involved with this individual or any of the other socialists.”

Sanders swears that his socialism isn’t the socialism of Venezuela. Let’s pray we never find out.

Knowles At ‘Fox’: Those Self-Obsessed Democrat Congresswomen

White blazer-clad Democrat congresswomen sat slack-jawed and unimpressed during Tuesday night’s State of the Union address as President Trump ran down the country’s many achievements over the past year. Wages have risen at the fastest rate in decades. Nearly five million Americans previously on food stamps have gone off the dole. Unemployment among African-American, Hispanic Americans, Asian-Americans, and Americans with disabilities have fallen to all-time lows. More Americans are working today than at any other time in history. The United States has become the leading producer of oil and natural gas in the world. For the first time in 65 years, the United States is a net exporter of energy. Over 300,000 jobs were added last month, nearly twice the number expected. The state of our union is strong. The blasé congressladies couldn’t have cared less.

Nearly an hour into the speech, President Trump finally caught their attention. He observed that women have filled 58% of newly created jobs. At this, the representresses perked up. They applauded. They leapt to their feet. But they weren’t clapping for the women who had filled those newly created jobs; they were applauding themselves for winning an election. They waved. They pointed to themselves and to each other. They danced, I think. Finally they sat down — but not for long. President Trump next touted that there are now more women in the workforce than ever before. Once again, the ladies jumped to their feet. More waving, turning, pointing, dancing. Finally, President Trump delivered a singular thrill: he noted that more women will serve in this new Congress than at any other time in history. The gaggle erupted into a flurry of fist bumps and roof-raising.

AG Whitaker “Troubled” by How CNN Tipped Off on Roger Stone Raid — CNN Denies Accusations of Deep State Collusion (VIDEO)

Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker suggested during his Friday testimony before the House Judiciary Committee that CNN may have been tipped off to the FBI’s raid on Roger Stone’s home in Florida.

CNN’s camera crew allegedly arrived at Stone’s residence a whole hour before the raid and CNN’s Sara Murray provided Stone’s attorney with a draft copy of the indictment in an early morning communique to confirm the FBI raid and arrest.

CNN was the only camera crew on the scene of the FBI raid on Roger Stone’s home.

Whitaker commented on this troubling event.

Just over a week after his televised arrest was carried exclusively by CNN, attorneys for the longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone have sent a letter to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees detailing how some reporters may have received an early draft copy of the indictment.

Documents obtained exclusively by The Gateway Pundit show a copy of the draft indictment without the PACER filing number or official stamps of the court, with metadata on the document identifying it as being authored by “AAW”, who is suspected to be lead Special Counsel prosecutor Andrew Weissmann.

CNN denied Whitaker’s suggestion that CNN was tipped off by the Deep State on the arrest of Roger Stone.

Suspect Shot Trying to Run Over Border Officer in Arizona, Says Mayor

Authorities on both sides of the border are investigating a shooting at an Arizona port of entry where an officer shot a man that allegedly tried run through an inspection stop before driving into Mexico.

The shooting took place Thursday night at a port of entry in Nogales, Arizona. A U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer conducting southbound inspections tried to stop a vehicle headed for Mexico before it exited the country, an agency statement revealed.

“The vehicle fled south, subsequently stopping several yards into Mexico. During this encounter, the officer discharged his firearm,” the statement revealed. “The driver of the vehicle sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to an area hospital in Nogales, Sonora. The officer was not injured.”

Arturo Garino, the mayor of Nogales, told Fox 10 the driver allegedly tried to run over the officer in an attempt to flee into Mexico and was shot in response. The truck stopped on the Mexican side of the port.

CBP revealed the Office of Professional Responsibility and Homeland Security Investigations are looking into the case. Authorities have not stated a reason for the shooting victim to run through the inspection area, whether he was armed, or if he was carrying contraband.

Border security in Nogales recently became a point of controversy after the city council voted to remove concertina wire from the existing border fence. According to Cronkite News, officials voted on a resolution condemning the wire and asked the federal government to remove it in other areas inside the city limits. The vote took place one day before the shooting at the port of entry.

Twitter CEO Dorsey: ‘We Can’t Afford to Be Neutral Anymore’

Twitter has rescinded and apologized for many of its bans and suspensions of conservative users, calling those decisions “mistakes.” But they might not have been mistakes after all. In an interview with podcaster Sam Harris on February 5, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey was grilled about the way “Twitter reliably lands on one side of the political divide.” Harris questioned Dorsey about Twitter’s decision to ban feminist Megan Murphy for tweeting “Men are not women,” while ignoring Rev. Louis Farrakhan’s anti-Semitic tweets

NY Times Goes Easy on Wacky ‘Green New Deal’: ‘Liberal Ambition…Breathtaking’

The New York Times deemphasized the truly ridiculously implausible and radical proposals in Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez six-page “Green New Deal” when it gave it front-page play Friday: “Unveiling a ‘Green New Deal,’ And Ambition on a Vast Scale.” Instead of showing skepticism, the reporters gave the plan points for ambition and used euphemisms to describe the outlandish proposals: "Liberal Democrats put flesh on their “Green New Deal” slogan on Thursday with a sweeping resolution intended to redefine the national debate on climate change…

Mike Lee Calls Out Dems for Probing Religious Beliefs of Judicial Nominees

Sen. Mike Lee (R., Utah) called out Democratic members of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday for questioning nominees about the particulars of their religious beliefs.

"The problem with asking a nominee about the particulars of his or her religious beliefs is that those questions inevitably expose those beliefs as somehow a qualifier or a disqualifier for public office. That is flatly inconsistent with at least the spirit if not also the letter of at least two provisions of the Constitution," Lee said. "I cannot fathom why this would ever make sense to do."

Lee pointed out that there was a time in which people might have been asked in a job interview or a congressional hearing whether they believed in God or were a Christian, an approach he said was equally as troublesome.

"When they might have been asked those, it was not for a good reason because there is never a good reason in a public setting to ask that question; save, perhaps, if you just want to make sure that that person’s religious beliefs do not require that person to betray the judicial oath. Beyond that, I can’t fathom a circumstance in which that would be appropriate," Lee continued.

"So I would ask Sen. [Mazie] Hirono [D., Hawaii], in what circumstance, in what way, shape, or form is asking Neomi Rao whether she believes particular conduct to be sinful an appropriate question to be asked in this committee? Ever?" Lee asked his colleague on the committee.

Hirono responded that the questions asked about a nominee’s religious beliefs concern whether they can be objective.

"These probing questions, if you were to list all of the questions that we ask, they have to do with whether or not these nominees’s very strongly held religious views, as well as any other views, may not enable them to be objective as judges in lifetime positions. I think that’s a legitimate area of inquiry, and it is not that we all ask ‘do you think such and such is a sin, etc. etc.,’" Hirono responded.

Lee responded that a question about whether a nominee considered something a "sin" was asked this week. Sen. Cory Booker (D., N.J.) asked D.C. Circuit Court nominee Neomi Rao on Tuesday about her beliefs on "sin" as they relate to homosexual relationships.

Last month, the Senate rebuked Hirono and Sen. Kamala Harris (D., Calif.) for questioning judicial nominee Brian Buescher about his membership in the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal service organization.

In September 2017, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) told Amy Coney Barrett, now a judge on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, that reading her past speeches revealed how the Catholic "dogma lives loudly" within her.

Carrie Severino, chief counsel and policy adviser with the Judicial Crisis Network, thanked Lee "for putting Senate Democrats, who have demonstrated hate towards religion and people of faith, on notice for bullying President Trump’s judicial nominees."

"These smear tactics have no place in a judicial confirmation, or anywhere else," Severino said in a statement.
