Another Virginia Democrat Accused of Misconduct

Another high-ranking Virginia Democrat is facing accusations of misconduct.

The Washington Post reported on Thursday that L. Douglas Wilder, the first African-American elected governor of Virginia, is accused of sexual harassment by a woman more than 60-years his junior.

Sydney Black, a student at Virginia Commonwealth University, alleged the former governor attempted to kiss her without consent in 2017 while she was an office assistant at the university’s L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs.

Black alleges the harassment occurred after Wilder took her dinner to celebrate her 20th birthday. According to Black’s account, Wilder ordered alcohol for both of them during the meal, despite acknowledging she was underage. Afterward, Wilder extended an invite to his apartment, where the non-consensual kiss allegedly occurred.

"He reached over and put his hand on my right leg, and I just kind of looked at him, and as soon as I looked at him, he kissed me on my mouth," Black said. "I immediately jerked away."

Shortly after the incident, the former governor told Black that funding for her position at the Wilder School had run out. Wilder, who left the governorship in 1994 but remains involved in Virginia politics, is a distinguished professor at the school with an annual salary of $150,000.

VCU’s campus police were first made aware of the incident in December. Black, who is herself African-American, told the Post she felt forced "to choose" between "being a woman" or "being black" when deciding to speak out. VCU has opened a Title IX investigation into the matter.

The allegations against Wilder come as Virginia’s statewide Democratic leadership is embroiled in scandal. Gov. Ralph Northam has resisted widespread calls for his resignation since it was made public that his medical school yearbook page includes a photo of two individuals in racist costumes—one in blackface and another in Ku Klux Klan garb. Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, initially praised by Democrats as a worthy successor should Northam resign, faces his own allegations of sexual assault from two women. Meanwhile, Attorney General Mark Herring is also under fire for wearing blackface in the 1980s while in college.

Wilder had previously called on Northam to resign in the wake of his yearbook revelation, but has refrained from discussing the accusations against Fairfax.

Dem Offices Remove POW Flags, Replace With Transgender Pride Flags

Multiple Democratic offices on Capitol Hill have replaced their flags memorializing prisoners of war with transgender pride flags, the Washington Free Beacon has learned.

The changes came at the urging of the National Center for Transgender Equality, which is delivering flags to congressional offices in advance of International Transgender Day of Visibility. Among the members to make the switch was Rep. Kim Schrier (D., Wash.), who replaced the POW flag she had displayed outside her office with a transgender pride flag.

The first picture is of the outside of Schrier’s office from a January Facebook post, while the second is from earlier this week. The name plates appear different because Schrier, who is a doctor, later had "M.D." added after her name.

Staffers from the office of Rep. Pete Aguilar (D., Calif.) were spotted attempting to pull their office’s POW flag out of its stand on Wednesday. A source told the Washington Free Beacon that Aguilar’s office initially tried to remove the POW flag, was unsuccessful, then managed to remove it soon after.

The picture below shows the pink, white, and blue transgender flag on the right side of the door of Aguilar’s office.

Rep. Tim Ryan (D., Ohio) also replaced the POW flag with the transgender flag. The first picture is from a March 12 tweet, while the second is from a March 27 tweet. In the first photo, the POW flag is to the right of the Ohio state flag, while in the second photo, the transgender flag has taken its place.

The offices for Schrier, Aguilar, and Ryan did not respond to requests for comment.

Several other offices have hung transgender pride flags outside of their offices this week in advance of International Transgender Day of Visibility on Sunday, The Hill reports. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.), Rep. Alexandria  Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.), and Rep. Jennifer Wexton (D., Va.) are among the other members of Congress who also placed the flags outside their offices.

A Republican office on the Hill reached out to the Washington Free Beacon to say it was also asked to replace their POW flag with the transgender pride flag. The change was not made.

Not all Democrats who put up the transgender pride flag removed the POW flag. Rep. Adam Smith (D., Wash.), for example, placed the transgender pride flag and POW flag next to each other.

Likewise, Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D., Ariz.) also hung up the transgender pride flag on her door and chose to leave the POW flag displayed.

Schiff Fundraises Off Calls for His Resignation From Trump, Republicans

Rep. Adam Schiff (D., Calif.) sent out a fundraising email midday Thursday in the face of increasing calls for his resignation from President Trump and other top Republicans in the wake of the release of the Mueller report that indicated Trump and his campaign did not collude with Russia during the 2016 election.

The email came less than three hours after all Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee asked for his resignation as the chairman, a role Schiff has had since Democrats won a majority after the 2018 elections.

And earlier on Thursday, President Trump called for Schiff’s complete resignation from Congress.

"The right-wing attacks on Adam have reached a whole new level," the Schiff email begins. "Yesterday during an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, President Trump declared that Adam should be ‘forced out of office.’ This morning, he tweeted the same and called Adam a ‘liar’ and a ‘leaker.’"

"This is an all-hands-on-deck moment right now," it continued. "Can you pitch in $5 or whatever you can to show Adam that the people stand with him?"

"There’s one reason and one reason only Adam faces these attacks and smears from the president, and that’s because he is working to hold the president accountable to the people."

In two other fundraising emails sent out by Schiff’s congressional campaign after the release of the Mueller report, the ten-term Congressman had steered clear of presidential politics, instead focusing on health care policy and protecting a group of newly-elected Democrat representatives from California.

A review of the political ads purchased by his congressional campaign committee on Facebook show that Schiff has tried to build his email database by asking for support for a bill he is running dealing with the presidential pardon power, but those ads came before the release of the Mueller report.

"It’s time we show Trump he cannot get away with pardoning his friends and interfering in the Special Counsel’s investigation: add your name if you agree," one of those ads says.

Even after the release of the Mueller report, the Washington Post quoted Schiff saying, "Undoubtedly there is collusion."

The California Democrat’s profile rose significantly in the wake of the numerous inquiries launched on Capitol Hill shortly after the 2016 election.

Roughly six months after Trump’s inauguration, Schiff had made so many appearances on cable news to discuss the Russia investigation, a tracking report provided to the White House showed Schiff had managed slightly more than 14 hours of television interview time.

"Democrats are tripping over themselves to see who can get the most TV time to talk about the Russia investigation," Republican National Committee Spokeswoman Ronna Romney McDaniel told the Washington Free Beacon at the time. "It is shocking that Rep. Schiff and Sen. Warner have combined for more than 180 interviews and over 20 hours of TV time since inauguration day."

Schiff’s leadership PAC also provides an indication of how much his profile has risen since Trump became president.

"In the six election cycles prior to 2018, Schiff’s leadership PAC took in a grand total of over $289,000," the Free Beacon reported earlier this year. "In the 2018 cycle, the same PAC took in $654,000, more than double all the other cycles combined."

Ted Cruz Has A Resolution That Would Finally Call Out Actual Anti-Semitism

This week, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) will introduce a resolution that, contra House Democrats’ recent watered down anti-bigotry resolution that wholly sold out the party’s manifold Jewish supporters, will firmly and directly call out the age-old, uniquely vile disease of anti-Semitism.

Feds Wait Too Long, So State AGs Begin Their Move Against Tech Giants

It has become increasingly apparent over the years that the major Silicon Valley-based technology companies have tried to straddle the line between being open platforms for the sharing of information or biased arbiters that pick and choose what information can be shared.

At the same time, those several tech companies have grown so large and amassed so much power that they have essentially become monopolies that govern the purportedly free space of the internet with arbitrary rules and terms of service that are inconsistently applied.

Though there have been rumblings among elected federal officials about addressing the growing concerns on this issue, nothing much has been done as of yet. However, a number of bipartisan state-level officials across the country are considering their options to move against the Silicon Valley monopolists, and “all actions” are on the table and under consideration.

Republican attorney general of Louisiana, Jeff Landry, who serves as president of the National Association of Attorneys General, was interviewed on Sirius XM’s Breitbart News Daily on March 19 and said that already existing anti-trust laws could be used to combat the growing the power of major tech firms like Google, Facebook and Twitter, among others.

“We have seen a tremendous amount of consolidation in regard to social platforms and the tech industry over the last decade, and the result of that has become a handful of companies — and I mean a very handful — that have amassed a tremendous amount of data and power over the U.S. and world economy,” Landry said.

Host Alex Marlow agreed and noted that the speech of conservatives had been stifled.

“Just the fact that they can censor any type of speech is problematic, on top of the fact that the monetization of people’s personal data is enriching these companies at the expense of the consumer,” Landry replied.

“When you talk to attorneys general around the country — irrespective of whether they’re Democrat or Republican, liberal or conservative — there is an instinct that something is going on,” he continued. “So, there is this instinctive feeling that something must be done with these companies, that they have become too big.”

Marlow noted that there seemed to be a rather odd coming together of bipartisan officials who recognized just how powerful and influential the tech companies had become in Washington D.C.

At one point midway through the interview, both Marlow and Landry chuckled as they found themselves praising Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, a 2020 candidate, for speaking out against the censorship practices of the tech firms.

Landry pointed out that one of the unique things about America is that no single person or entity was bigger than the government because the government is essentially comprised of the people.

“Historically, when corporations in this country, in our free market economy, have amassed monopolistic power — power to basically control the economy — the people have stood up and said, ‘Enough is enough. Something must be done,’” he said.

Marlow asked what sort of action was being considered, and Landry replied, “I think that all action is on top of the table,” and noted a forthcoming meeting between state attorneys general and the Federal Trade Commission to discuss ways to protect consumers, such as through anti-trust action or more careful scrutiny of proposed mergers and buyouts and consolidation of the tech firms.

In discussing the increasingly apparent bias of firms like Google and Facebook, Landry initially sidestepped the political aspect and brought up things like ad placement and search results, noting how those could be skewed favorably in certain directions by the firms while the average consumer had an expectation that all potential options and search results would be displayed. Shifting back toward the political aspect, Landry described the bias as “pervasive.”

“And that’s become problematic, and I think that’s why you see the concern on both the left and the right, but again, when you look at the amount of data, the amount of processing power that these companies have at their disposal, they know more about you than you know about yourself,” Landry said.

“Unfortunately, we’ve seen them make comments like, ‘We can basically bend the consumer in the direction we want him to go rather than what they want to go.’ That’s not independence. That’s not liberty. That’s not a free market.”

Landry pointed out that the federal government had been “slow” to address the issue of protecting consumers, which had prompted the bipartisan attorneys general to consider what was in their power to do to take on the issue.

He also expressed deep concern over corporate censorship being used to shape social policies and noted that the Sherman Anti-Trust Act from the late 1800s was designed specifically with that sort of thing in mind.

Landry made a number of other incredible and rather pertinent points throughout the entirety of the 20-minute interview. Hopefully, Landry and other attorneys general will soon step up and take tangible actions against the Silicon Valley tech monopolies, lest the nation cedes control of the free and open internet to those few self-interested and biased corporations.

Another Soros-Linked District Attorney Blocks Boston Police from Making Arrests on Shoplifting, Destruction of Property, Resisting Arrest, Drug Offenses… No Deportation of Illegals

Radical far left Suffolk County District Attorney Rachael Rollins released a memo this week.

The far left District Attorney announced new orders for police officers who are no longer allowed to arrest people for shoplifting, for breaking and entering, for destruction of property/vandalism, for resisting arrest, for disturbing the peace, and for drug offenses.

Rollins also ordered police to refuse access to ICE officials for the arrest any illegals in courthouses — no matter the crime.

Rollins is linked to the far left program originally funded by George Soros to support far left radicals in deep blue cities across the US.

The program has helped elect radical attorneys in Chicago, St. Louis, Sacramento and San Diego. On Tuesday Soros-linked Kim Foxx dropped all charges against hate hoaxer Jussie Smollett in Chicago without explanation.

Police are instructed to notify her office if anyone tries to deport an illegal alien.

Rachael Rollins also wants judges to lower charges against illegals so that they will not get deported.

She is attacking law enforcement and aiding criminal behavior!

‘The Rollins Memo’ ices out ICE, confirms no-prosecution list

The Boston Herald reported on this insane and dangerous Democrat.

“I don’t believe accountability has to equal incarceration. There are many ways we can hold people accountable without putting them in jail,” Rollins writes, according to the policy paper obtained by the Herald and later made public by the DA Monday.

As for the county’s “foreign-born population” when accused of crimes, Rollins’ memo states her office “will begin to factor into all charging and sentencing decisions the potential of immigration consequences.”

That includes taking into consideration any defense attorney’s “failure to provide accurate advice” about a suspect’s chances of being grabbed by federal immigration officers.

Rollins adds that if a DA’s office employee “observes Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers” or Department of Homeland Security agents “apprehending or questioning” someone called to court about “residence status,” they are to immediately alert her personally, her first assistant or general counsel.

Rachael Rollins is a danger to law-abiding citizens….. but great from criminals!
