On Thursday, during an appearance on “Fox and Friends,” Florida Governor Ron DeSantis criticized leaders of other states for their “draconian” lockdown policies, and spoke about his state’s own reopening process.

“In Wisconsin, the governor there decided to do stay-at-home orders, and a lot of people were complaining and protesting there,” co-host Ainsley Earhardt said. “The Supreme Court of Wisconsin just struck that down. Do you think some of these governors that are just doing a one-size-fits-all for the entire state, you think they’re being too strict and going too far?”

DeSantis replied, comparing some of the measures to “social control.”

Well, I don’t think any governor has the authority to restrict anyone unless there’s a direct relationship to combating this virus, and if you look around the country, clearly there have been examples of really draconian, arbitrary restrictions that have nothing to do with public health – like you can’t plant a seed in your front yard and your garden, you can’t walk around the neighborhood with your daughter or something like that. So, some of this stuff, I think, has devolved into social control…

The governor continued, saying that he believes those measures are “less effective,” and that Florida “trusted the people to act appropriately, and we’ve had better results than some of the states that you’ve seen.”

“There have absolutely been over-steps, and I think legislatures should really look at this as we go forward,” DeSantis said. “You need to be able to act; there’s certain things that need to be done, but you’re not a dictator, you don’t have unlimited authority, and people do have rights.”

DeSantis was then asked about reopening Florida schools, as the California State University system “plans to cancel all in-person classes for the fall and to continue instruction online,” according to ABC7.

“Why would you give up now? Why would you do that? Of course you’ve got to plan to come back,” the governor said.

“I think we’ll have people on campus, I think that’s the way it should be, and we have an opportunity, too, because those folks, those students are low risk, so you’re able to do this in ways that can be safe,” the governor said. “I trust that our universities will be able to do that.”

Co-host Steve Doocy asked what the state of “big events” will be by August, and DeSantis noted that while he can’t guarantee anything, there’s an eagerness to get to a place “where people are able to live life.”

“We’re doing a very safe, smart, step-by-step approach based on the data, based on what we’re seeing, and I think that’s what folks want to see,” the governor said.

A group of more than 20 U.S. intelligence, military and diplomatic veterans determined that the DNC emails in 2016 were not hacked, but instead they were copied by someone on the East Coast.  This information was provided to President Trump’s current Secretary of State Mike Pompeo but there is no evidence to date that Pompeo followed up with President Trump.

A number of veteran intelligence officials (VIPS) have been poking forks into the red herring of “Russian pre-2016-election hacking of the DNC emails” for the past three and a half years. In the process, they called attention to the tarnished reputation of CrowdStrike, a viscerally anti-Russian cyber-security firm that has had to retract erroneous forensic findings in the past.  They also noted that CrowdStrike was paid by the Democrats; and that, instead of ordering the FBI to investigate, former and now fired FBI Director James Comey chose to defer to CrowdStrike to look into the alleged Russian “hack”.

The VIPS published in public sources, claims that (1) the Democratic National Committee was not hacked by the Russians in 2016, and (2) that the Democratic National Committee data was “leaked” and not “hacked”.  Three key Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) Memoranda were produced for the President (two went to Barack Obama and one to President Donald Trump).

 The VIPS claims they applied the principles of physics and forensic science to show that the DNC emails were leaked in spring 2016 — not given to WikiLeaks via a hack by Russia or by anyone else. For the past three years, they have been trying to call attention to their findings.

In the second referenced Memoranda was addressed to President Obama on January 17, 2017, entitled “A Key Issue [namely, Russian ‘hacking’ given to WikiLeaks] That Still Needs to be Resolved”.  The following day Obama actually addressed that issue at a press conference, when he conceded that the intelligence community had no idea how the DNC emails reached WikiLeaks.

It was startling that Obama injected his surprising disclaimer into that press conference two days before he left town.

The VIPS also provided a Memorandum to President Obama on December 12, 2016, entitled “Allegations of Hacking Election Are Baseless”.  The VIPS shared that the evidence they had could save Congress from “partisanship, expense, and unnecessary delay.” That time, Obama chose not to listen.

President Trump, on the other hand, was apparently was listening to what the VIPS share with him their third Memorandum noted above — “Was the Russian ‘Hack’ an Inside Job?” (July 24, 2017).

In this document, the VIPS stated that the January 6 [2017] “Intelligence Community Assessment” by “hand-picked” analysts from the FBI, CIA, and NSA seems to fit into the same agenda-driven category as the ‘Russia hacked the DNC’ fairy tale. It was largely based on an “assessment,” not supported by any apparent evidence, that a shadowy entity with the moniker “Guccifer 2.0” hacked the DNC on behalf of Russian intelligence and gave DNC emails to WikiLeaks.

The VIPS forensic findings mentioned above put a huge dent in the Intel Community’s assessment and cast serious doubt on the underpinnings of the extraordinarily successful campaign to blame the Russian government for hacking.  The VIPS claim that neither former CIA Director John Brennan, nor the cyber-warriors who worked for him, have been completely candid regarding how this all went down.

After receiving the VIPS report, President Trump ordered then-CIA Director Mike Pompeo to invite Bill Binney to CIA Headquarters to brief him on the findings. Binney did so on October 24, 2017, with his typically no-holds-barred explanation of the group’s findings and of how Pompeo’s subordinates were being less than candid.

To date however, there is no sign that Pompeo followed up — by pursuing the matter with his own analysts, or by giving President Trump a report on the Binney-Pompeo meeting.

The good news however, is that there is now great interest into the January 6, 2017, Intelligence Community Assessment.  This document, requested by Obama, and slapped together in a couple short weeks by John Brennan, which claims Russia wanted President Trump to win the 2016 election, is rumored to be a key focus by the Durham investigation. 

Let’s hope Pompeo passed the VIPS information on to President Trump which will help Durham unravel some of the many Deep State Trump-Russia lies!

Dr. Carol Baker was appointed Chair of the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices in 2009. Carol is well known for her work in immunization and education.

The Houston doctor sat on an “expert” panel of experts sponsored by the National Meningitis Association in New York City on May 9, 2016 in Atlanta, Georgia.  During the panel discussion the far left doctor took a swipe at Donald Trump and white Americans.  Dr. Baker told the gathered audience,

Dr. Carol Baker: “So I have the solution. Every study published in the last five years, when you look at vaccine refusers. I’m not talking about…hesitance, most of them we can talk into coming to terms. But refusers. We’ll just get rid of all the whites in the United States… Guess who wants to get vaccinated the most? Immigrants.”

Not one person from the audience challenged the hateful doctor.

The French doctor who identified a cure for the coronavirus that saw immediate results, is now being targeted and smeared by those who want to cash in on a different more expensive drug made by Gilead.

Of course nothing is sacred anymore.  The progressive socialist left has taken over everything.  Since the advent of the China coronavirus, we discovered that even medicine and the medical community is now a corrupt and political industry.

This past week the far left New York Times released a report where they belittled “eminent French microbiologist Didier Raoult” and his claims for a quick and powerful cure for the China coronavirus:

When diagnosing the ills afflicting modern science, an entertainment that, along with the disparagement of his critics and fellow researchers, he counts among his great delights, the eminent French microbiologist Didier Raoult will lightly stroke his beard, lean back in his seat and, with a thin but unmistakable smile, declare the poor patient to be stricken with pride. Raoult, who has achieved international fame since his proposed treatment for Covid-19 was touted as a miracle cure by President Trump, believes that his colleagues fail to see that their ideas are the products of mere intellectual fashions — that they are hypnotized by methodology into believing that they understand what they do not and that they lack the discipline of mind that would permit them to comprehend their error. “Hubris,” Raoult told me recently, at his institute in Marseille, “is the most common thing in the world.” It is a particularly dangerous malady in doctors like him, whose opinions are freighted with the responsibility of life and death. “Someone who doesn’t know is less stupid than someone who wrongly thinks he does,” he said. “Because it is a terrible thing to be wrong.”

The hit piece attacks Dr. Raoult for recommending a cure for the China coronavirus – hydroxychloroquine:

It is in this spirit that, over the objections of his peers, and no doubt because of them, too, he has promoted a combination of hydroxychloroquine, an antimalarial drug, and azithromycin, a common antibiotic, as a remedy for Covid-19. He has taken to declaring, “We know how to cure the disease.” Trump was not the only one eager to embrace this possibility. By the time I arrived in Marseille, some version of Raoult’s treatment regimen had been authorized for testing or use in France, Italy, China, India and numerous other countries. One in every five registered drug trials in the world was testing hydroxychloroquine.

The NY Times Magazine hit piece uses the comments of another doctors and experts to refute Dr. Raoult’s exemplary success using hydroxychloroquine:

Other scientists disagreed with this characterization of the results. “The cure rate is almost identical to what’s been described about the natural course of the disease,” the virologist Christine Rouzioux told French radio.

The problems with the piece in the NY Times Magazine is that it is very biased and slanted.  For example,  the comments from virologist Christine Rouzioux are based on an BFM TV interview Christine Rouzioux gave on April 9^th, which was based on Raoult’s interview on French France’s Radio Classique on April 1.

The NY Times Magazine is just amplifying the message that no other drug but Gilead’s Remdesivir will work.

Gilead has connections to China and the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where the China coronavirus is suspected of originating:

Virologist Christine Rouzioux is connected to the ‘Bat Doctor’ Zhenzli Shi, who is reportedly connected to the release of the China coronavirus in Wuhan.

Rouzioux knows Zhengli Shi as they both hang around the same French academic and professional circles (both received the same French honorary medals for the same work).  They also both have worked on projects that were directly related to Gilead drug R&D which were eventually translated to patents.

Rouzioux specializes in HIV and has worked with the Wuhan Institute of Virology which is also doing joint HIV R&D with several universities and institutions in France including: Paris-Descartes University, Institute Pasteur, and University of Montpellier ( Zhengli’s PhD alma mater).  Gilead Science has sponsored some of that research.

Beyond the joint research, there is also very close operational relationship between the Wuhan P4 site and the Lyon P4 Laboratory.

The French government designed and supervised the construction of the Wuhan P4 lab and were connected to  all of the operational maintenance and personal training there.

There is too much money to be made with Gilead Science’s Remdesivir. The simple effective anti-malarial drug that’s been around for decades simply cannot be the cure — there’s not enough money in it.

This may explain this critical hit piece on Dr. Raoult.

No, President Donald Trump is not ranting and raving about Obamagate to keep himself center stage or to distract attention from COVID-19, as liberal media are suggesting. They still don’t get Trump.

Two recent columns contend that Trump has ulterior motives in harping on Obamagate — the notion that the Obama administration tried to destroy Trump with the myth that he colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election.

Wrong. How about we draw the most obvious inferences from Trump’s statements instead of the liberal establishment’s theories, which are far more outlandish than the Obamagate conspiracy they’re ridiculing.

Everyone knows that Trump has long been outraged by the Russia hoax, and with good reason. Even after he has been thoroughly vindicated of this frame job, the perpetrators have escaped accountability, and the left still pretends Trump is the guilty party.

Trump was effectively exonerated when the vaunted, high-powered and obscenely funded Mueller team couldn’t find a shred of evidence to tie Trump to Russian election meddling. Now, with the revelation that Obama administration officials and the FBI collaborated to incriminate General Michael Flynn, we have a smoking .357 Magnum in the hands of scores of those officials.

It is the liberal media — not Trump — who are trying to divert the public’s attention from a story — the one showcasing the Democrats’ complicity.

If we had never heard of COVID-19, Trump would be railing against this corruption even more vigorously than he is now, because most of his day is consumed by virus-related health and economic issues. But don’t bother telling that to Trump-obsessed journos.

CNN’s Oliver Darcy writes that although the virus has killed 82,000 and left millions unemployed, Trump and his conservative media allies are “constructing a separate alternate reality to keep their fans distracted from the news and outraged at the long-standing villains in the right-wing media universe.”

Though this might stun Darcy, we hayseed Trump deplorables are capable of walking and chewing tobacco simultaneously. Notwithstanding our diminished capacity, we stay abreast of virus and economic updates, which constitute 99.9% of the news, even with coverage of the Obamagate story the liberal media are trying to suppress.

Actually, Trump wants us to focus on the virus and on out of work Americans because he is determined to prudently reopen the economy precisely to help the same people these journos claim he is ignoring. If Trump were trying to shift our attention from the economy or the virus, why would he publicly disagree with Dr. Anthony Fauci on the reopening of schools in the fall? Moreover, it is inconceivable that he could avoid virus-related issues during the campaign even if he tried. The media’s diversion claim is patently absurd.

Politico’s Jack Shafer is promoting the bizarre theory that Trump is pushing Obamagate and other “outrageous claims” because he wants the spotlight on himself, even if only for critical coverage: “Making him the subject of our conversations is almost as good to Trump as making him the video camera’s focal point. … Obviously, he’d like it better if the commentariat praised him, but if they’re going to criticize him, he’s content to annotate the insults and censures and repurpose them as offensive weapons. … Baseless charges like these (Obamagate, China, Joe Scarborough, QAnon) are the perfect refuge of a rhetorical arsonist like Trump, who scorches the earth with controversy and confusion so nobody knows where to find the truth.”

Sorry, Mr. Schafer, but Trump truly believes he was set up with the Russia hoax, and the evidence supports him. That’s why he’s ranting about it even while COVID-19 is still with us. No matter how much you mock it, no matter how much you want the country to focus solely on the virus, life has to go on, and other issues, especially Obamagate, still matter.

There must be a reckoning for the political party that abused governmental power to engineer a coup against the other party. In a saner world, Democrats would agree with this, as it was the premise upon which the bogus Russia-Trump investigation was based. Progressives pounded the table for three years over Trump’s alleged theft of the election, and they now expect us to shuffle docilely into the night when we have his opponents dead to rights doing the very thing they accused him of doing?

So, no, gentlemen, you are hopelessly off base. Trump intends to keep the coronavirus-related issues on the front burner. They must be if he is to lead America back to health and wealth. Unlike the left, he is not ignoring the economic devastation caused by this virus. Unlike the left, he is taking action instead of engaging in “rhetorical arson,” if I may humbly borrow Schafer’s incendiary term.

The left can smear Trump from their basements for not waving his wand and immediately accelerating our COVID-19 testing capacity to a billion per month and for the economic devastation caused by shutting down the economy. But they show unprecedented audacity blaming him for a death count that would have been worse and for an economic shutdown that would go on indefinitely if they were in charge.

Unhappily for the media, President Trump is alert, engaged and proactively addressing a comprehensive range of issues affecting Americans. He is fully capable of calling attention to this Democratic corruption of shocking magnitude without impeding his efforts to make America well and prosperous again.

The Heroes act, supposedly designed to provide relief from the coronavirus, legalizes banking on a federal level by marijuana businesses.
