Pence Calls Michael Flynn An "American Patriot," Says He’s Welcomed Back To White House
In a ‘yuge’ victory for the Trump administration last week, the Justice Department dropped the prosecution of former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who pleaded guilty in the Mueller probe in 2017 to misleading Vice President Mike Pence and FBI agents about his communications with a former Russian official. Now it seems Flynn could be welcomed back into the administration as Vice President Pence told "Axios on HBO" that he welcomes the idea.
"I think Gen. Michael Flynn is an American patriot," Vice President Pence told an Axios reporter in Iowa on Friday.
"And for my part, I’d be happy to see Michael Flynn again."
It has not just been Vice President Pence suggesting that Flynn would be welcomed back — President Trump told reporters on April 30 that he would consider returning his former national security advisor to his inner circle.
Last week, President Trump praised the DOJ in their decision to drop the charges against Flynn. On Friday, the president tweeted: "Yesterday was a BIG day for Justice in the USA. Congratulations to General Flynn, and many others. I do believe there is MUCH more to come! Dirty Cops and Crooked Politicians do not go well together!"
Yesterday was a BIG day for Justice in the USA. Congratulations to General Flynn, and many others. I do believe there is MUCH more to come! Dirty Cops and Crooked Politicians do not go well together!
Washington insiders told Axios, they would not be surprised if Flynn were to join the president on the campaign trail later this year.
However, not everyone was thrilled to see the charges against him cleared, both former President Barack Obama and Speaker Nancy Pelosi slammed the DOJ for their decision.
The former president said the DOJ’s decision to drop its prosecution puts the nation’s ‘rule of law at risk.’ The wave of negative criticism from Democrats and some law enforcement officials was shared with Speaker Pelosi, who said Attorney General William Barr is attempting to "cover-up" the Russian investigation.
"Attorney General Barr’s politicization of justice knows no bounds," Pelosi said in a statement.
"Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators in the face of overwhelming evidence – but now, Attorney General Barr’s Justice Department is dropping the case to continue to cover up for the President," she added.
The episode of "Axios on HBO" with Vice President Pence debuts on Monday at 11 pm ET/PT.
Vice President Pence is still willing to take back Flynn despite being reportedly lied to during Muller investigations…
Dozens of universities and colleges around the country have maintained partnerships with the Confucius Institute, an educational organization backed by China’s communist government. In 2019, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) called for an investigation into the Confucius Institute influence over American universities and college.
According to a report by Campus Reform, many American universities and colleges have maintained their relationships with the Confucius Institute, which has been accused by public officials of stealing research and restricting campus speech that is critical of the Chinese government. The schools that continue to work in league with the communist Chinese government include schools accross the country such as the University of Kentucky, Colorado State University, and Stanford.
Martin Davidson, the chairman of Adam Smith International, told the New York Times in 2012 that the Confucius Institute bribes colleges with large sums from the Chinese government in exchange for control over campus discourse on China. Professors at the University of Miami, for example, claim that they were told by Confucius Institute representatives that they were not permitted to discuss the Dalai Lama, the Chinese military, or Tibet.
According to the report, dozens of universities have maintained their partnerships with the Confucius Institute despite evidence that suggests that the organization was designed to exploit American institutions and promote communist values.
A 2018 report by POLITICO Magazine revealed that a Chinese official admitted that the Confucius Institute is a vehicle used by the government to expand China’s influence abroad under the guise of Chinese language instruction.
But the Confucius Institutes’ goals are a little less wholesome and edifying than they sound—and this is by the Chinese government’s own account. A 2011 speech by a standing member of the Politburo in Beijing laid out the case: “The Confucius Institute is an appealing brand for expanding our culture abroad,” Li Changchun said. “It has made an important contribution toward improving our soft power. The ‘Confucius’ brand has a natural attractiveness. Using the excuse of teaching Chinese language, everything looks reasonable and logical.”
Breitbart News reported in October 2019 that Senator Josh Hawley has called for a federal investigation into the Confucius Institute influence over American campuses. Many American universities and colleges such as the University of Delaware and the University of North Florida have already cut ties with the Confucius Institute.

After China Forced Out Reporters, Trump Hits Back With Severe Restrictions On Chinese Media
The US-China mudslinging and tit-for-tat blame game over the COVID-19 crisis just got a lot nastier, taking the information war in a new direction, impacting journalists working on the ground.
The Trump administration has slapped new visa restrictions on Chinese journalists working in the United States in retaliation for similar actions taken against American outlets.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced Friday a new rule requiring all Chinese journalists under non-American news companies to be given only 90-day work visas, as opposed to the previous open-endedvisas commonly handed out.
Specifically officials cited that the drastic limitation is necessary to counterbalance the “suppression of independent journalism” in China. This after Beijing starting in March moved to expel reporters in what Chinese officials at the time called an “entirely necessary and reciprocal” measure that belong to The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal.
The DHS had condemned that prior provocative move as “an escalation of hostile measures targeting a free press within its borders.” And in this latest announced severe visa restriction it described:
“Based on the treatment by the [People’s Republic of China (PRC)] of foreign journalists, including U.S. citizens, DHS has determined that the PRC is not treating journalists in a manner that admitting … visa holders for the duration of status is sufficiently reciprocal to the treatment accorded by the PRC to U.S. journalists or in alignment with U.S. foreign policy,” the DHS said in its announcement.
All of this will certainly heightened what’s developed into a full-scale information war over the coronavirus pandemic.
Western correspondents in China fear this race to the bottom will ultimately end their ability to report from the Communist country:
This will further hurt US reporters in China. Trump administration talks of seeking reciprocity re. press visa rules for reporters. But this is a race to the bottom with an authoritarian state that uses short visas to punish and coerce. A democracy can’t/shouldn’t win that race1 https://t.co/4jX1UJVvWm
While the White House has spotlighted the Wuhan Virology Lab for investigation, as well as other labs conducting high risk research and experiments involving SARS-like dangerous strains of viruses, China’s Foreign Ministry officials have on multiple occasions suggested the US Army was responsible for unleashing the deadly disease.
It must be noted too that just two weeks prior to China expelling a host of US journalists for major newspapers, the State Department cut the visas short for some 60 state-funded Chinese media journalists.
No doubt, China will retaliate. And given it’s not a democracy, it’s likely to hit back even harder, it’s what’s increasingly looking like a race to the bottom. This could ultimately result in zero American reporters legally in China at all.
All week the liberal media was unglued over the tragic story of a young black Georgian, Ahmaud Arbery, who was shot dead by two white men and likely racists.
Of course, our hearts go out to his family.
The Georgia NAACP posted this description online of the shooting of Arbery who was ‘murdered’ by ‘white supremacists’ while he was out jogging.
But now we know that was not entirely true.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution released security video of Ahmaud Arbery breaking into homes on McMichael’s Street.
Jack Posobiec reported– New AJC video appears to show Ahmaud Arbery entering new house on McMichael’s street, running out after spotted by neighbor.
On this National Day of Prayer, the first lady said, our thoughts should be with those on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic and those who have lost a loved one due to the COVID-19 disease.
She also alluded to restrictions that have been imposed on religious gatherings because of the health crisis.
“In these uncertain times, I know it is hard not to gather in our places of worship,” she continued.

“But we must keep our faith in God and pray for the courage and knowledge that better days are ahead of us.”
In addition, she said, the country will get be back in places of work and worship, sending our children back to school and going back to sporting events.
“Our dear citizens, through prayer and faith, we will get through this together,” she said in closing.
“I am so proud of the way that all of you have responded to this crisis. When we reach out to our Lord, let us remember, ‘I can do everything through Him, who gives me strength.’”
“God bless you all, and God bless the United States of America,” she said.
President Donald Trump, meanwhile, “ask[ed] all Americans to join their voices and their hearts in spiritual union as we ask our Lord in heaven for strength and solace, for courage and comfort, for hope and healing, for recovery and for renewal.”
As for the first video, in case you didn’t catch the reference, it’s Philippians 4:13: “I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.” It’s an important message for us to remember right now, and not just because of the words.
Paul’s epistle to the Philippians is a book of joy, grounded in a spirit of gratitude toward devout believers in an early Christian community. He could summon this joy despite being in a Roman jail; prisons aren’t particularly known as great places to be right now and they certainly weren’t up to those standards in Roman times.
Times are difficult right now. You don’t need anyone to tell you this.
If you still have a job, you might have reduced hours or reduced pay. If you don’t, there’s the fear of where the next rent check’s going to come from. You may have lost loved ones or know those who have. You might be struggling with mental illness. You could just not be dealing with the stress very well.
You’ve no doubt seen the other greatest hit from the book of Philippians these past few weeks: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
Paul wasn’t anxious, even though he had every reason to be. No one is expecting you to be Paul the Apostle right now. We can pray to the same God he did, though — and He can give you the peace only He can give.
If there’s anything to take away from this graceful and beautiful call to prayer by the first lady, it’s that.

The phrase “don’t fight the Fed” is an unfortunate but popular delusion. It presupposes that the central bank has limitless power to direct the economy because it can print limitless money. I’m not sure where this idea comes from, but consider the fact that anyone today who is under 30 years old was barely old enough in 2008 to understand or care about the credit collapse. These people spent their formative years knowing only stimulus and QE. In their minds, this is the norm, and they think it always works because they haven’t yet witnessed a collapse.
I would say a better phrase for the 2020s is “The Fed is not going to save you”; the Fed is not a superhero and it does not have the power nor the inclination to protect the little people from economic folly. This should be readily apparent today, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread and the central bank can’t seem to cure it with Quantitative Easing.
My position has always been that the Fed has no intention of saving the economy, only making it appear as if they care. This is evident in the fact that they created the Everything Bubble in the first place with years of near zero interest rates, then abruptly hiked interest rates into economic weakness, just like they did during the Great Depression. All it took was a few rate increases to cause stock markets to plunge in December 2018; liquidity was strangled and repo markets became unstable. Jerome Powell knew perfectly well that this would be the result; he openly discussed it in the minutes of the October 2012 Federal Open Market Committee.
The Fed ignored the decaying economic conditions of historic national debt, corporate debt and consumer debt, all the while claiming that the U.S. economy was “strong” and “in recovery” in their Beige Book assessments. The financial elites were lying. They knew they were lying, and they knew that the system was on the verge of a breakdown. What they needed was an event that would provide cover for the crash that they created, and lo and behold, the “lucky” coincidence of the coronavirus outbreak appears.
Now, all the buildup to the crash will be forgotten by the masses and the mainstream financial media. The fact that the central banks set this collapse in motion will be overshadowed by the pandemic, and the virus will be blamed for everything (alongside nationalism, conservatives, “selfish” people that want their freedoms and defy lockdowns, etc.).
To be sure, the lockdowns are the final nail in the economy’s coffin, but it was the Fed that dug the grave. For now, Fed stimulus is achieving little other than stalling the free fall of stock markets; the rest of the economy is done. The Fed knows it, but the public doesn’t see it yet.
With the word “reopen” on everyone’s minds right now, hopes are high, but it is a false hope. According to the elites own schematics for handling the pandemic, the plan is to use a kind of “wave theory” in which the economy is reopened for a short time – perhaps a month – and then closed again for another couple of months. The goal is to cause the spread of the virus in the span of that month and then use the spike in infections and deaths as an excuse to close everything down again. The public does not seem to be aware of this plan, even though it is openly admitted.
The next widespread lockdowns will likely occur in June. Some places in the U.S. are not opening up at all. This will cause a rush of people from high population areas into rural areas looking to escape the restrictions, even if just for a week or two. Infections will then spike in places that were once free of community transmissions. The rationale will then be in place to enforce even harsher restrictions.
When the lockdowns are instituted again, the U.S. population is going to go berserk. They think the crisis is almost over; they have no idea that it’s only just beginning.
The calls for unlimited stimulus are rising in the wake of the disaster. Small business bailouts failed miserably, drying up in less than two weeks with only 4% of loan demands accounting for 45% of the total money made available through the government program. The second round of bailouts will probably follow the same trend. The problem is that the economy was already in dire straits before the pandemic; everyone needs money now. The debt vacuum is forever hungry.
But what about the $6 trillion in stimulus the Fed has already generated? Well, that has mostly going into U.S. treasuries and major corporations, not to the little guy even though small businesses employ around 50% of U.S. workers. So here is what is about to happen…
A large portion of small businesses will shut down permanently. People will not be going back to shopping in droves like they used to, as the average American now realizes their resources are finite. The spend-easy mindset is now over, as people will be more likely to set cash aside “just in case”. Lingering concerns about the virus will probably stifle any rush to normalcy. This is exactly what has happened in Georgia, one of the first states to reopen, as businesses still suffocate as they wait for shoppers to return.
They will try to hang on through the reopening, but without a steady flow of cash from the government, they will not last. The calls for regular bailouts will grow. On top of this, stimulus checks to individuals have also fallen flat, as a number of people continue to wait for aid. When it finally arrives, these checks will stave off personal crisis for maybe a month or two. By the end of June, as reality begins to set in, I expect to see very real desperation among lower income Americans.
Stimulus can buy us months, but with the stagflationary environment we find ourselves in, Universal Basic Income will have limited effect for the long term.
As prices of necessities inflate, government stimulus will buy less and less. And the more the Fed continues to print, the more inflation we will see in certain sectors of the economy. The government could try to introduce price controls, but this generally causes production to slow down, as there are no incentives and the cost of manufacturing outweighs any potential profits. Wages will decrease dramatically, and unemployment will skyrocket. The government will offer only one option: nationalization of all essential industries.
This is what happens when all economic activity is centralized under the control of governments and central banks. There is no avoiding the consequences.
The average citizen will be reduced to near-third-world status, waiting desperately every month for a government check that barely allows them to survive. Rent protests will become a regular occurrence, which means landlords and owners will either have to work out some kind of alternative deals with renters or sell off properties that they can’t afford to maintain. By the end of this year and into early 2021, I believe the collapse will start to peak.
Fed stimulus is a Catch-22, a non-solution. Having the ability to print money in unlimited amounts still has limited benefits. It does not account for rising production costs, nor does it account for inflation in necessary goods, nor does it account for supply chain disruptions and manufacturing shutdowns due to the pandemic. No money printing scheme in history has ever successfully solved an economic crisis. Not one. At most it can slow down the collapse for a time, but not stop it.
The real answer to the problem is one that the banking elites will never acknowledge: decentralization and localization. Localized production, self-sustaining independent economies in which trade and manufacturing is promoted on the micro-level, not to mention local scrip backed by commodities, as well as gold and silver as money alternatives; these can create redundancies in cities and counties and states that could save them from national and global level disasters. The sad thing is people will not consider these solutions until they are already mired in the crash.
Those communities that do implement such measures will be attacked by the establishment, and this will only confirm for us what the real fix is. You are not allowed to save yourself, you are only allowed to sit and wait for help. The stimulus machine is enslavement; and we are meant to remain dependent on it even as it drags us down into endless poverty. The goal of infinite money is not to protect the economic system; the goal of infinite money is to collapse the system and transform it from a once free market into a feudal plantation.

(AP) — BERLIN — The World Health Organization has dismissed as “false allegations” a media report that it withheld information about the new coronavirus following pressure from China.
The U.N. agency said in a statement late Saturday that a German magazine’s report about a telephone conversation between WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and Chinese President Xi Jinping on Jan. 21 was “unfounded and untrue.”
Weekly Der Spiegel reported that Xi asked Tedros during the call to hold back information about human-to-human transmission of the virus and delay declaring a pandemic. The magazine quoted Germany’s foreign intelligence agency, BND, which declined to comment Sunday.
Der Spiegel also claimed that the BND concluded up to six weeks of time to fight the outbreak had been lost due to China’s information policy.
The U.N. agency said Tedros and Xi “have never spoken by phone” and added that “such inaccurate reports distract and detract from WHO’s and the world’s efforts to end the COVID-19 pandemic.”
It said that China confirmed human-to-human transmission of the new coronavirus on Jan. 20.
WHO officials issued a statement two days later saying there was evidence of human-to-human transmission in Wuhan, but more investigation was necessary. The global body declared COVID-19 a pandemic on Feb. 11.
U.S. President Donald Trump has been among the strongest critics of WHO’s handling of the pandemic, accusing it of deference to China and ceasing payments to the agency.
Congressman Nunes told Maria Bartiromo on Sunday that the original Flynn FBI 302 report used to brief Congress is still ‘missing.’
It was revealed in October former FBI lawyer Lisa Page EDITED General Mike Flynn’s 302 report, then lied to the DOJ about the edits.
A 302 summary report consists of contemporaneous notes taken by an FBI agent when interviewing a subject.
General Flynn’s lawyer Sidney Powell filed a motion in October, 2019 revealing that General Flynn was indeed set up by the FBI with an ambush, damaging leaks and altered 302 reports.
“Lisa Page, Special Counsel to Deputy Director McCabe, resigned; she edited Mr. Flynn’s 302 and was part of a small, high-level group that strategically planned his ambush.” the filing said.
A discussion between Lisa Page and her paramour Peter Strzok talking about editing Flynn’s 302 report was previously released.
Strzok to Page: “I made your edits” Also discussion of misleading leadership re: picking up 302.
Included: new Page/Strzok texts.
Discussion between Lisa Page and Peter Strzok re: editing the Flynn 302.
The manipulation of the Flynn 302 took place a couple weeks after the initial interview.
The Special Agent notes that Flynn wasn’t sure he spoke to Kislyak on the UN vote.
The 302 says different.
“Where’s the Flynn 302, Congressman?” Bartiromo asked Nunes.
“Well, the 302 is still missing, Maria, so here’s what we know,” Nunes said explaining Congress was briefed by people at the highest levels on the original 302 report confirming Flynn did not lie.
“The FBI agents essentially said ‘look, there’s nothing to see here. Flynn wasn’t lying’ — and that’s what we were told on the record so we knew this at the beginning of 2017,” he added.
“We know the report was doctored because we have the messages from the lovebirds [Peter Strzok and Lisa Page], but here’s the problem, the original report that was used to brief the United States Congress — that report is missing — it’s gone, poof! We can’t find it!”
My mask is off. I only began wearing it because you couldn’t get into any businesses if you weren’t wearing a face mask, and I needed to buy a few groceries. This whole “you must be wearing a mask in order to get into the store” thing kind of reminds me of that Bible verse about the Mark of the Beast, and how you won’t be able to buy or sell without the antichrist’s mark somewhere on your body. Could such a mark be something that verifies you are not infected? Or an enemy of the state? They might as well sew a yellow star to our clothing.
