Project Veritas Releases New Exposé on Tech Giant Facebook

Project Veritas just released a new exposé on the tech giant Facebook with an insider interview into their hiring practices. In the first of what will likely be several releases on Facebook, Founder James O’Keefe spoke with a Facebook insider that claims that he came into possession of Facebook’s Diversity Initiative internal document for the Human Resources Department.

This document on page 6 gives the direction to give priority to H-1B visa applicants for hiring at Facebook. The document states “When hiring for HR positions, it’s important to prioritize H-1B Visa Workers, and this will stimulate the process of diversification of the workplace”. The document also states that “Priority may be given to H-1B applicants from China or Korea to foster larger communities of diverse workers at Facebook”. It continues “Although not mandatory, we recognize that the priority of H-1B applicants in favor of American applicants is for the greater good of company culture”.

Steve Klein from Barr and Klein, PLLC, was interviewed by James O’Keefe and was asked for his opinion on the document (if it is a legitimate Facebook document) from a legal perspective. Klein responded, “I think it raises serious concerns under Federal and State anti-discrimination laws specifically as it would relate to discriminating based on national origin”. Immigration and Nationality Act 8 USC § 1324B. “It’s a very problematic document, through and through, if this is actual policy that’s being implemented [at Facebook]”. Klein went on to say that there could be violations of the Civil Rights Act and California Anti-Discrimination Laws which are complaint-driven laws. Damages and Attorneys fees could be recoverable in a settlement and there could be forced changes to company culture.

The Facebook insider also said that they have first-hand knowledge and experience with the impact of the push for H-1B visa applicants to be hired. “I have seen the destruction and damage that this H-1B visa issue has caused. Living in the Bay Area, there is a very large portion of homeless and within that homeless there is a very large portion of working homeless. These are Americans with degrees and jobs, that no longer have these jobs that have been replaced by H-1B visa workers. I know several people that were invited in to work, they were given 60 days and the first 30 days they had someone shadow them, and the next 30 days someone trained them and then they were released. I’ve seen that happen within the company and I know several people in other tech companies where it’s happened to them. And so it’s happening on a large scale, it’s causing a spike in homelessness.  It’s causing a spike in unemployment, it’s damaging overall. And I feel this has to stop. Someone needs to do something”.

Facebook employs over 45,000 people and it’s estimated worth is roughly $700 Billion.

The US H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows US companies to employ graduate-level workers in specialty occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise in specialized fields such as in IT, finance, accounting, architecture, engineering, mathematics, science, medicine, etc. Any professional level job that usually requires you to have a bachelors degree or higher can come under the H-1B visa for specialty occupations. If you do not have a bachelors degree or higher you may be able to show degree equivalence through work experience and/or other qualifications.

Multiple Reports: Atlanta Cops Walk Out in Protest

Swathes of police officers in Atlanta, GA, are “walking off the job,” according to multiple reports published Wednesday evening.

Todd Starnes tweeted, “BREAKING NEWS: Georgia police sources tell me only two police precincts are staffed in the entire city of Atlanta. Entire zones of officers are walking off the job. Zones 1,3,5 and 6 have left their posts. Zones walking off the job. #BlueLivesMatter.”

Atlanta’s CBS affiliate reported that it had confirmed the walkout through its own sources:

Several Atlanta Police officers have reportedly walked off the job at precincts across the city. The claim comes hours after charges were filed against ex officer Garrett Rolfe and Officer Devin Brosnan in the Rayshard Brooks’ case.

The buzz of patrol officers staging walkouts and refusing to answer calls from Precincts 3,5,6 and others began circulating social Wednesday evening. CBS46 confirmed the walkout through sources at 8:30 p.m.

The Atlanta Police Department acknowledged a “higher than usual number of call outs” on Wednesday evening while claiming that it had the resources necessary to “respond to incidents.”

Atlanta’s FOX affiliate also reported on the police walkouts, stating that it had “received several tips that officers were walking off the job en masse.” It linked the reported police walkouts to the charges — including felony murder — against 27-year-old former Atlanta Police Officer Garrett Rolfe, who shot and killed 27-year-old Rayshard Brooks.

Breitbart News reported on the incident between Rolfe and Brooks:

Police body camera video shows Brooks and officers having a relatively calm and respectful conversation for more than 40 minutes before things rapidly turned violent. Brooks wrestled with officers, snatched one of their stun guns, and turned and pointed it at one of them as he ran through the parking lot. Rolfe then opened fire.

Morale among Atlanta’s police “is down tenfold,” said Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms (D) on Wednesday.

According to the Atlanta Police Foundation, eight of the city’s police officers have resigned since the beginning of June.

Facebook Bans Trump Campaign Ad that Denounces Antifa Violence

Facebook removed an ad from the Trump campaign earlier today attacking Antifa, citing its policy on “organized hate.”

The ad, now removed by Facebook, denounced Antifa, the decentralized movement of far-left agitators known for acts of domestic terrorism and political violence.

During the George Floyd riots, Attorney General William Barr described the actions of Antifa as domestic terrorism, and President Trump has also confirmed that he intends to label Antifa a domestic terrorist organization.

The now-deleted Trump ad featured an inverted red-and-black triangle to symbolize the Antifa movement, which uses the red-and-black color scheme in their badges, flags, and propaganda as a form of ideological identification. Red-and-black are the historical colors of the anarcho-communist movement, and red triangles are an Antifa symbol according to products available for purchase.

In the now-deleted ad, the official Team Trump Facebook account said:

Dangerous MOBS of far-left groups are running through our streets and causing absolute mayhem. They are DESTROYING our cities and rioting – it’s absolute madness.

It’s important that EVERY American comes together at a time like this to send a united message that we will not stand for their radical actions any longer. We’re calling on YOU to make a public statement and add your name to stand with President Trump against ANTIFA.

Please add your name IMMEDIATELY to stand with your President and his decision to declare ANTIFA a Terrorist Organization.

But Facebook, and far-left organizations that regularly run cover for Antifa, said the red-and-black triangle was a “hate” symbol because it is similar to a symbol used by Nazi Germany in concentration camps.

Facebook apparently bought this argument, even though the Trump team’s post was clearly about Antifa.

“We removed these posts and ads for violating our policy against organized hate,” a company spokesman told New York Daily News. “Our policy prohibits using a banned hate group’s symbol to identify political prisoners without the context that condemns or discusses the symbol.”

In a post on Twitter, the Trump team posted an image showing the inverted red-and-black triangle being used by Antifa, in response to a Media Matters post accusing the campaign of using Nazi imagery.

“This is an emoji. It’s also a symbol widely used by Antifa. It was used in an ad about Antifa,” said the Trump team. “It is not in the ADL’s Hate Symbols Database.”

In a comment to the New York Daily News, the Trump team again pointed out the symbol’s links to Antifa.

“The red triangle is an Antifa symbol,” said Trump campaign spokesman Ken Farnaso who linked to the symbol being used in Antifa-branded products.

This is not the first time Facebook has deliberately censored political ads from the Trump team. Ahead of the 2018 midterm elections, Facebook censored a Trump ad about the dangers of mass immigration.

It’s Happening… Bill Barr’s DOJ to Propose Rolling Back Big Tech Section 230 Protections – Opening Door to Lawsuits

Last week Attorney General Bill Barr joined Bret Baier on Special Report and said he “clearly” believes the social media giants are “engaged in censorship” and are acting like “publishers.

FOX News reported:

Attorney General William Barr told “Special Report” in the second part of an exclusive interview that aired Tuesday that he believes social media platforms are “engaged in censorship” and are acting more like “publishers”.

“So you think these [social media] firms are somehow censoring the president and his supporters?” host Bret Baier asked Barr.

“I think there are — clearly these, these entities are now engaged in censorship,” Barr responded. “And they originally held themselves out as open forums where people, where the third parties could come and express their views and they built up a tremendous network of eyeballs.

“They had a lot of market power based on that presentation,” the attorney general added. “And now they are acting much more like publishers because they’re censoring particular viewpoints and putting their own content in there to to diminish the impact of various people’s views.”

Just three weeks ago President Trump signed an executive order regarding social media and big technology companies.

The order comes on the heels of a illicit fact-check on the president from Twitter, related to President Trump’s sentiment regarding voting by mail.
Twitter’s fact-check was later revealed to be fake news.

On Wednesday news broke that the Bill Barr DOJ will propose legislation to remove protections from Big Tech platforms that regularly discriminate against conservatives.

The U.S. Justice Department will propose legislation as soon as Wednesday to try to remove protections that big tech platforms like Alphabet’s (GOOGL.O) Google and Facebook (FB.O) have had for decades, a department official said on Wednesday, speaking on condition of anonymity.

President Donald Trump, who has battled Twitter (TWTR.N) and other tech companies over alleged censorship of conservative voices on social media platforms, said in late May he would propose legislation that may scrap or weaken the law shielding internet companies, in an extraordinary attempt to regulate the outlets where he has been criticized.

Trump wants to “remove or change” a provision of a law known as Section 230. Under the 1996 Communications Decency Act, Section 230 does not generally hold platforms responsible for what their users post and allows them to moderate the content of their sites as they see fit.

The Justice Department plans to make a legislative proposal that Congress would have to pass, according to the Wall Street Journal, which first reported the proposal.

Black Lives Matter-Led Drive To ‘Defund The Police’ Also Targets Capitalism

Some who recently jumped on the Black Lives Matter bandwagon say the activist network’s national demand to “defund” police should not be taken literally. Others seem to misunderstand the meaning of the word. And then there are those who still think “Black Lives Matter” is just a rallying cry rather than an organization with a very specific agenda.

But the most active BLM chapters have been organizing their communities to defund police departments long before the tragic death of George Floyd. In major cities like Chicago and Los Angeles, BLM organizers teamed with progressive coalitions and have already forced policy changes across the local law enforcement spectrum, affecting the county sheriffdown to cops in public schools.

Their strategy is admittedly incremental, described as “an abolitionist approach,” intending to abolish police eventually.

What many “bandwagon” supporters of the group fail to understand is its deeper commitment to upending capitalism. BLM leaders believe law enforcement agencies exist to maintain America’s capitalist social order, which in turn is the root cause of police brutality against black people. They say racially biased policing and capitalism are connected structures of oppression that must be dismantled.

“White capitalism requires racist, violent policing to protect it,” explained Dr. Melina Abdullah, a founding member of Black Lives Matter who leads its Los Angeles chapter. “In order to eliminate police violence, and the killings of our people at their hands, we must also target the economic systems that built it and rely on it.”

Abdullah, who is also a professor at California State University, L.A., teaches that “white-supremacist capitalism condones, benefits from, and even requires violence against Black people.” She has often urged rallygoers to “disrupt white capitalism” while speaking at high-profile BLM demonstrations organized around fatal officer-involved shootings.

BLM’s plan to defund police involves gradually shifting public safety responsibilities and funding away from law enforcement, then reallocating that money to new services centered around meeting the universal needs of people, such as housing, healthcare, and access to nutritious food.

Leaders maintain police funds would also be better spent creating more parks, libraries, and social programs that would benefit disadvantaged neighborhoods. Mental health counselors and community-based public safety teams would respond to some people in crises, without firearms.

“We’re fighting for the complete abolition of this system,” Dr. Anthony Ratcliff, a BLM organizer based in L.A., has said. “We believe that with healthy communities, we don’t need police.”

In Los Angeles, BLM’s drive to dismantle LAPD and redistribute its budget has accelerated in recent weeks.

After BLM and allies protested outside Mayor Eric Garcetti’s home, he announced plans to cut LAPD funding by as much as $150 million. According to the L.A. Times, the mayor “said he will direct $250 million to youth jobs, health initiatives and ‘peace centers’ to heal trauma, and will allow those who have suffered discrimination to collect damages.”

Garcetti said his proposal is meant to address “structural racism” against black communities. “I agree with the sentiment that this is just a start, and my promise to people is we have to think about reimagining public safety,” Garcetti said at a press conference last week.

Still, Mayor Garcetti claimed he did not share the same vision as BLM, which perceived the move as an early step toward defunding and abolishing LAPD.

On Tuesday, several L.A. City Council members proposed developing a new policing model that would divert nonviolent 911 calls to “appropriate non-law enforcement agencies.” The idea was motivated by BLM and other activists who put forth a plan called People’s Budget L.A., which would allocate less than two percent of the city’s general fund to law enforcement.

“We believe in the abolition of policing as we know it,” Dr. Abdullah has said. “We believe in not reform, but transformation of the public safety system.”

BLM’s organizing draws on the energy of esteemed abolitionists of the past and present. Abdullah has conjured the spiritsof deceased abolitionists, such as Ida B. Wells and Nat Turner, to guide activists and provide a celestial presence at BLM events.

Their work is also inspired by modern-day abolitionists, like Dr. Angela Davis, best known for her affiliations with the Black Panthers and Communist Party USA. Davis has labeled the growing calls to defund police “an abolitionist demand,” and argues that abolition is “about revolution” and “rethinking the kind of future we want.”

At an abolition conclave in L.A. more than three years ago, Davis told several prominent BLM organizers in attendance: “The slogan we have to raise, I think, is ‘Abolish the LAPD.’” However, she emphasized that goal should be conjoined with efforts to tear down other oppressive systems simultaneously.

“You can’t simply focus myopically on one thing and say ‘get rid of slavery,’ or ‘get rid of prisons,’ or ‘get rid of the police,’” Davis told the gathering. “Abolition asks us to think about what it is we need to do to transform the entire context, the entire society.”

She praised Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors for creating “a new arena of struggle” that incorporates the principles of abolition into the activist network’s objectives, which involve “the toppling of White supremacist-patriarchal-heteronormative capitalism.”

Dr. Davis said abolition is “about reimagining justice” and asking the questions, “What would justice look like if we lived in a society that could not depend on prisons and could not depend on police?”

“Ultimately, I think we’re led to recognize that we will have to overthrow the economic system under which we live,” Davis went on to tell the gathering. “We will have to look beyond capitalism. We need something else – whether we want to call it socialism or communism or whatever, we need something else.”

Nolte: Woke Staffers Threaten Strike Unless Publisher Blacklists JK Rowling’s Upcoming Book

A bunch of book burners who work for Hachette have threatened to strike if the publisher does not blacklist JK Rowling’s new book.

JK Rowling, the 54-year-old Harry Potter author, is under fire because she rejects that a biological male magically becomes a woman by simply saying, “I’m a chick now.”

Rowling has been thoughtful on this issue, she’s been compassionate, and she’s been science-based. She also believes, correctly, that this trans madness erases women and homosexuals. If there is no sex, she says, if sex is just a social construct, there can be no same-sex attraction, there can be nothing unique about being a woman, so those two identities are erased.

Further, say goodbye to women’s sports. These lunatic trans activists believe that any man who claims to be a woman should be allowed to compete against women with all the physical advantages that come with being a biological male. Among other things, no woman will ever win a weightlifting competition, foot race, or rowing contest again. Anything that involves strength or speed or parallel parking , the advantages all go to the “woman” in the wig with five o’clock shadow.

And let’s not forget how this trans madness affects the person suffering from gender dysphoria. Instead of giving these folks the compassionate and intense psychological care they so desperately need, we are patronizing the mentally ill and championing the dual horror shows of  hormone therapy and surgical mutilation– which, in some cases, are irreversible and does untold psychological and physical damage, especially to the children of parents so eager to jump on this destructive fad they use Little Harold’s affection for the color pink as an excuse to give the kid breasts.

Anyway, the Woke Taliban at Hatchett who work in the department that would publish Rowling’s upcoming children’s book, The Ickabog, are threatening a strike:

Yesterday morning at publishing house Hachette, several of those involved in Miss Rowling’s new children’s book, The Ickabog, are said to have staged their own rebellion during a heated meeting. One source said: ‘Staff in the children’s department at Hachette announced they were no longer prepared to work on the book.

They said they were opposed to her comments and wanted to show support for the trans lobby. These staff are all very “woke”, mainly in their twenties and early thirties, and apparently it is an issue they feel very strongly about.’

This should not come as a surprise. Hatchette is a victim of its own fecklessness. If you recall, this is the same publishing house that allowed its staffers to kill Woody Allen’s biography. These fascist crybullies staged a walkout demanding Hatchette blacklist Allen’s memoir, and that’s precisely what Hatchette did. And like this one aimed at Rowling, that was another revolt by the Woke Taliban based on total nonsense — the lie that Woody Allen molested his daughter some 30 years ago.

This is not the only blacklist Rowling faces. Hollywood is turning its back on her and the far-left Variety reported last week that her latest film franchise, Fantastic Beasts, is in jeopardy of being blacklisted over her perfectly sensible beliefs on gender and biological sex.

As of now, Hatchette is standing firm, but we’ll see how long that lasts.

And for the record, last week I told you this was going to happen:

If she holds firm, and I hope she does, she will not only be blacklisted, she will be hounded from here on. Her publisher will be hounded (see: Allen, Woody). Anyone who does business with her will be hounded to renounce her, as Daniel Radcliffe and Eddie Redmayne have already done.

This kind of corporate pressure is precisely how blacklisting worked in the 1950s, and it is how blacklisting works today.

The Woke Taliban are emboldened, so this is going to get a lot worse before it eventually gets better.

WATCH: Seattle ‘CHOP’ Organizer Tells Filmmaker She’s ‘Not Here To Peacefully Protest’

Concerns are growing that the CHOP — also known as the “Capitol Hill Organized Protest” (or “Capitol Hill Occupying Protest,” depending on which of the warring factions you speak to — is becoming dangerous for the group’s anarchist residents and local business owners alike — and a now-viral documentary clip from filmmaker Ami Horowitz will do little to dispel those claims.

Horowitz entered CHOP to do interviews with some of its residents and organizers and, in a video shared with Fox News, one prominent CHOP resident, Jaiden Grayson, tells Horowitz that CHOP is not intended as a “peaceful protest.”

Grayson even suggests that this is merely the first iteration of CHOP, and if the group’s demands, outlined in a Medium post distributed last week, are not met, that the “protest” could transform.

“Every day that I show up here, I’m not here to peacefully protest,” Grayson told Horowitz.

“I’m here to disrupt until my demands are met,” she added, per Fox. “You cannot rebuild until you break it all the way down.”

Grayson told Horowitz that the group plans to see their demands met “by any means necessary.”

“It’s not a slogan. It’s not even a warning. I’m letting people know what comes next,” she said. “If the Seattle Police Department turns in their badges, we’ll have made a move forward.”

“The unraveling of that system is also what will fuel the black minds in the black bodies that will recreate a new world,” she concluded.

The group’s demands include a full defunding and disbanding of the Seattle Police Department (as well as the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency), a socialized health care program for all residents of the city of Seattle, free college, that all prisoners are set free, that all drug laws are nullified, that Seattle “de-gentrify” and adopt rent control policies, and that all Confederate monuments be removed — not an easy list of tasks for Seattle city government.

The group has been reformatting in recent days, first changing their name to CHOP from CHAZ, after leaders suggested the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” left residents with no power to influence Seattle government, and negotiated with the city to reduce their footprint from six square blocks to three, protected by a handful of concrete barriers.

Concerns about policing CHOP arose over the weekend, after business owners, who found themselves unwillingly included in the CHOP, could not get Seattle Police Department to respond to 911 calls. The business owners detained a CHOP resident they believed had committed burglary and was about to commit arson, and found themselves at the mercy of a mob of CHOP residents, who demanded the protester be freed. After six calls to 911, the business owners reportedly gave up.

Over the weekend, journalists embedded in the CHOP also claimed that vigilante justice, meted out by armed leaders and typically at night, had taken root in the “occupied zone.”
