EXCLUSIVE: Donations, Including International Funding, to BlackLivesMatter.com Go Directly to the DNC – This Is Money Laundering

BlackLivesMatter.com appears to be an international money laundering scheme used by the Democrats to raise money from an international audience.

Black Lives Matter describes itself on its “BlackLivesMatter.com” website as a global organization:

The Wikipedia website describes Black Lives Matter as:

Black Lives Matter (BLM) is an international human rights movement, originating from within the African-American community, which campaigns against violence and systemic racism towards black people. BLM regularly holds protests speaking out against police brutality and police killings of black people, and broader issues such as racial profiling, and racial inequality in the United States criminal justice system.[1]

So we know for sure that BLM is a “global” / “international” network because they admit this.

When you click on the “Donate” button on blacklivesmatter.com you are sent to an “ActBlue” donations page:

You can even read that the donations are being made to ActBlue in the fine print.

ActBlue claims to be tax exempt organization and all donations to it are tax-deductable.  The terms and conditions also link to ActBlue and mention “Campaign Finance Laws”:

https://secure.actblue.com/content/fineprint

When you research the expenditures of ActBlue, all of their contributions are directly going to top DNC campaigns:

https://www.opensecrets.org/pacs/expenditures.php?cmte=C00401224&cycle=2020

Act Blue is not a charity.

It appears more accurately to be an illegal funding arm of the DNC.

(Do all the individuals around the world know that when they donate to Black Lives Matter, they are really donating to the Democrat Party?)

It is against the law to funnel international money into US elections.

It is a violation of campaign contribution laws and is not legal.

This is just another corrupt wing of the Democrat Party.

“You’re 100% Full Of $hit, F**k You” – Chicago Alderman & Mayor Rage Over Looting On Leaked Audio

"You’re 100% Full Of $hit, F**k You" – Chicago Alderman & Mayor Rage Over Looting On Leaked Audio

They say that if you repeat the same lie enough times, you start to believe it. And so it is with progressive Democrats and their refusal to acknowledge the true depth of the violence unleashed during the protests. Chicago experienced one of its deadliest weekends of violence in recent memory, but you would never guess by reading the coverage by the New York Times and Washington Post.

A particularly disturbing example of this phenomenon has just emerged out of Chicago, where a recording from a meeting between Mayor Lori Lightfoot and the City Council, where one of the mayor’s chief critics, Raymond Lopez, a fellow gay Democrat who was the first openly gay Mexican-American elected to public office in Illinois, accused her of not doing enough to quell the violence.

In the recording, which is included below, Lightfoot can be heard telling Lopez that she believed his eyewitness reports about "gangbangers with AK47s waiting to settle some scores" were "100% full of shit".

"Well f**k you then," Lopez spat back as the two launched into a rancorous back and forth.

See the full transcript of the leaked audio clip below, courtesy of the CBS affiliate in Chicago:

“When downtown is in lockdown, our neighborhoods are next, and our failure to fully get ready for what’s going on in the neighborhoods, we’re seeing this destruction, and we’re thinking that it’s going to somehow end tonight. We have seen where, in other cities, this has gone on for days; and we need to come up with a better plan for days, at least for the next five days, to try and stabilize our communities,” Lopez said.

The aldermen said parts of the Back of the Yards and Brighton Park neighborhoods in his ward had become “a virtual warzone."

"We can’t expect our police, and I don’t fault them at all, to be able to control this," he said. "Half our neighborhoods are already obliterated. It’s too late."

Lopez said he feared looters would eventually start targeting homes after ransacking businesses throughout the city.

“Once they’re done looting and rioting and whatever’s going to happen tonight, God help us, what happens when they start going after residents? Going into the neighborhoods? Once they start trying to break down people’s doors, if they think they’ve got something,” he said.

“We know that people are here to antagonize and incite, and you’ve got them all pumped tonight, today. They’re not going to go to bed at 8 o’clock. They’re going to turn their focus on the neighborhoods. I’ve got gang-bangers with AK-47s walking around right now, just waiting to settle some scores. What are we going to do, and what do we tell residents, other than good faith people stand up? It’s not going to be enough,” Lopez added.

When Lopez finished talking on the conference call, Lightfoot declined to respond, and tried to move on to another alderman, but Lopez demanded an answer.

“It’s not something you ignore. This is a question that I have,” Lopez said.

That’s when the call turned profane.

“I think you’re 100% full of s***, is what I think,” Lightfoot said.

Lopez was infuriated.

"F*** you, then. Who are you to tell me I’m full of s***?” he said. “Maybe you should come out and see what’s going on."

The mayor vehemently denied protecting downtown at the expense of the neighborhoods.

"If you think we’re not ready, and we stood by and let the neighborhoods go up, there’s nothing intelligent that I could say to you,” she said. “That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I understand you want to preen."

"Mayor, you need to check your f***ing attitude. That’s what you need to do," Lopez shot back.

At that point, several other aldermen interjected in an effort to calm nerves, with one alderman telling Lopez, "Ray, cut it out, please. Calm down, please."

It’s obvious that Lopez, who harbors ambitions to replace Lightfoot in the mayor’s chair in the not-too-distant future, leaked the clip. But as he told CBS in an interview, many small businesses in his ward won’t be reopening, largely thanks to the violence.

Voting with their feet: Burned out Minneapolis manufacturer pulls up stakes and vows to rebuild elsewhere

Sure as the sun rises, businesses are making plans to get the hell out of post-riot Minneapolis.

Here’s the first known domino, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune:

A Minneapolis manufacturing company has decided to leave the city, with the company’s owner saying he can’t trust public officials who allowed his plant to burn during the recent riots. The move will cost the city about 50 jobs.

“They don’t care about my business,” said Kris Wyrobek, president and owner of 7-Sigma Inc., which has operated since 1987 at 2843 26th Av. in south Minneapolis. “They didn’t protect our people. We were all on our own.”

Wyrobek said the plant, which usually operates until 11 p.m., shut down about four hours early on the first night of the riots because he wanted to keep his workers out of harm’s way. He said a production supervisor and a maintenance worker who live in the neighborhood became alarmed when fire broke out at the $30 million Midtown Corner affordable housing apartment complex that was under construction next door.

“The fire engine was just sitting there,” Wyrobek said, “but they wouldn’t do anything.”

Two days after the riots began, Gov. Tim Walz described the city’s response as an “abject failure.”

The man has fabulous prospects every where he looks because … Minneapolis ranks near the very rock bottom on its climate for doing business. Even if he goes to far-left blue Illinois, he’d get an improved business climate. Minnesota ranks 46 on the Tax Foundation’s business tax climate ranking. Illinois ranks #23. Texas is a popular choice, ranking #14. But his best prospect is a lot closer, in neighboring South Dakota, which ranks #2. Relocation costs and employee retention might just be pretty manageable.

Why the heck should he bother with Minneapolis or Minnesota itself, whose sky-high taxes are there to pay for a bigger governent? He can’t even get a fire engine when his factory, which employs 50 people, is literally burning down. Here’s the disgusting response from out-of-touch chicken-dancing Mayor Jacob Frey, emphasis mine:

Frey said Monday that he was unaware of 7-Sigma’s decision to move, and he declined to say whether the company’s decision reflects the challenges facing city leaders as they try to convince business owners to rebuild in Minneapolis. Many business owners have criticized the city, saying their pleas for help went unanswered.

Frey said the city was overwhelmed by the riots. He said every fire truck was operating during the protests.

“This was a Guard-sized crisis and demanded a Guard-sized response,” Frey said. “And once we had the full presence of the National Guard — which by the way hasn’t been deployed since World War II — there was a significantly different result.”

Note: He called the guard in late after significant persuading.

It’s bad stuff given that the losses throughout Minneapolis have been horrendous. According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, 500 businesses that they know about have been damaged or destroyed by fire, property damage of looting. Of this group, 67 were burned to the ground and the figure keeps getting progressively higher with each successive news report. The very charming Lake Street area, which is known for its international-blend of businesses, its “Landmark of Diversity” was hit extremely hard. And those businesses are mostly tiny, making recovery very hard for most of them. They’re about to start looking like Van Nuys, California, or South Central Los Angeles, still trying to recover from riots of more than two decades ago.

Here are some of the 67 that were totally annihilated by fire, over the supposed spontaneous rage in the streets over a white cop killing a black suspect, provoking a supposed race riot: Addis Ababa (probably a restaurant), 7 Mile Fashion, Bismillah Grocery and Coffee, Bling Bling Beauty Supply, El Nuevo Rodeo (probably a restaurant), El Sabor Chuchi (same), Fatima African Hair Braiding, Gandhi Mahal Restaurant, Mirasol Express, Paraiso Lounge, Popeyes, Rongo’s Auto Service, U2 Nails. Bole Ethiopian Restaurant.

Do those places sound white-run? The riots were clearly about something else. I also noticed a lot of private staffing and employment agencies, hardly a looter’s paradise, on the list of completely burned out places. Peoples Organics, on the other hand, merely sustained damage.

The state has been bleeding businesses for years, according to the Minnesota Business Partnership. Twenty years ago, it had 21 Fortune 500 headquarters in Minneapolis. Today, it has 16. Here’s their statement about just how bad it is:

The Competitiveness Challenge Minnesota businesses and entrepreneurs are faced with some of the nation’s highest tax burdens. The state’s tax structure deters business expansion and relocation in Minnesota and discourages companies from locating high-skill, high paying jobs here. Our anti-competitive tax code contributed to Minnesota ranking 43rd out of the 50 states in the Tax Foundation’s State Business Tax Climate Index. As Minnesota competes with other states and countries for future investment and job growth, lawmakers should be mindful of how Minnesota’s tax and business climate compares to our competitors.

Now that 7-Sigma is pulling up stakes, I’m just waiting for a Minneapolis City Council member to say ‘F*** you!’ the same way California’s far-left state legislator Lorena Gonzalez screamed at Elon Musk after he vowed to take his manufacturing operation for Tesla automobiles, out of state and over to Nevada or Texas.

Frey is clueless and the Minneapolis city council is business hostile. The fact that they are trying to get rid of the police signals just how little they care about the well being of businesses, which require stable property rights and personal security. Businesses costs will inevitably rise if they get rid of the police, and it will come at th expense of jobs.

Why shouldn’t they all leave? What’s on offer is soaring taxes, a hostile business climate and the expectation that things will never get better for them so long as the people in power remain in power. The clowns of the city council will get religion when enough businesses leave or fail to reopen. Teaching them a lesson is the best thing these businesses can do.

Pelosi and the Democrats have fallen, and they can’t get up

In 1987, Life Call took America by storm with TV commercials advertising a necklace for elderly people that had button on it connecting them to emergency services. The memorable tagline was “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up.” On Monday, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the Democrat leadership became the living embodiment of a tagline symbolizing helpless frailty.

Monday saw numerous Democrat members of Congress, mostly from the Congressional Black Caucus, engaging in the type of symbolic theater so beloved on the Left: Wearing scarves made from fabric with traditional Ghanian patterns, they knelt in Congress’s Emancipation Hall for eight minutes and 46 seconds, the same amount of time during which police officer Derek Chauvin restrained George Floyd:

That was theater. Reality was watching the same Congress people – especially the aged Pelosi – struggle to stand again:

For those of us who vividly remember the Life Call commercials, it was impossible not to see in Nancy Pelosi and the other leaders the pathetic, frail, helpless woman, trapped on the floor, crying out “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up”:

When I see Democrats crawling around on the ground, I do not see leadership or even faux humility. I see a party that is weak and has lost its way.

I know people are worried about the violence in Democrat-run cities and the rise of Black Lives Matter as a political force on the left. However, I see all this rampaging theater as a good thing. This isn’t an ascendant force; it is a political party in its death throes.

For a brief moment, in the early 1960s, the Democrat party could be said to represent good things for and about America. It was against communism, it was beginning to turn its back on the racism it espoused with slavery and Jim Crow, it was fighting for second-wave feminism (equal pay for equal work and equal access to jobs), it wanted lower taxes, it supported the American worker against the world, and it believed in the American family and its values. One could disagree with its belief that government expertise could solve problems, but its heart and the hearts of its broad base of followers were in the right place.

Today, the Democrat party is for communism, its again obsessed with race, it fights for third-wave feminism (men are garbage except when they’re women), it wants ever-more taxes, its open-border policies are wiping out American workers, and its hostile to American families and their values. Outside of academia, inner cities, upscale coffee shops, and mid-level corporate management (made up of recent college grads), these are not popular positions.

Donald Trump’s open love for America, his refusal to grovel, and his willingness to fight on every point may have offended the intelligentsia, but for everyone else, they represented the worm turning. Finally, the skinny conservative guy had turned around and kicked sand at the bully.

Contrary to body-building ads that showed the bully instantly slinking away, that’s not how it usually works. Bullies need to be beaten badly before they’ll slink away. First, they’ll fight back. That’s what we see now. The riots in Democrat-run cities are the bullies trying to say that, even if the Democrat party can’t offer solutions to the problems it caused, it’s still a force to be reckoned with.

We can see that this claim is a lie when we watch that video of the pathetic Democrat leadership, bowing down and barely able to rise again (or, in the case of the party leader, entirely unable to rise). They’re weak, they’re frail, they’ve fallen, and, with Trump’s economy roaring back to life and indictments coming down the line, there’s no way they’re getting up again.

The Democrats are a dying party, and nothing embodies that better than their having a presidential candidate who acts and looks like a man who could star in his own Life Call commercial:

(By the way, am I the only one who thinks it’s tacky that politicized blacks in America are so parochial that they believe that Ghana represents the entire spectrum of blacks of African descent in America? Those black Caucus Congresscritters are engaging in the sin of “cultural appropriation” just as surely as are the whites who wear those scarves.)

Christian Pastor and His Pregnant Wife Gunned Down in Nigeria

The Rev. Emmanuel Saba Bileya and his wife, Juliana, were gunned down on their farm in eastern Nigeria by unidentified insurgents last week, local media report.

“It was an attack on the pastor and his wife on their farm. While they were working on the farm, suddenly armed men came and opened fire on them, leading to the death of the pastor and his wife,” said David Misal, spokesman for the police of Taraba state.

The 51-year-old Bileya was an ordained pastor in the Christian Reformed Church of Nigeria and an alumnus of Calvin Theological Seminary in Michigan. He and his wife, who was pregnant, leave behind eight children from the ages of 1 to 19.

“In what is being noted as systematic direct war against Christianity in Nigeria, pastors, Christian leaders and seminarians are either being kidnapped or killed every week,” reads a statement from the Hausa Christians Foundation. “Christians in Nigeria have been the target of many attacks by the vicious Boko Haram jihadist Islamist terrorists, herdsmen attacks and many other kidnappings in recent times.”

“Brethren, the body of Christ is suffering so much harm in the hands of these evil jihadists. The government of Nigeria seems to care less about the plights of Christians [in] Nigeria,” the statement says.

Taraba state forms part of Nigeria’s Middle Belt, home to many of the country’s Fulani militants and a hotbed of anti-Christian violence.

According to analysts, Islamic militants are waging a “slow-motion war” against Nigeria’s Christians, which is “massive in scale and horrific in brutality.”

Numbering between 14 and 15 million, the Fulani raiders originated in the country’s mostly Muslim north but have made their way south where they have been carrying out a violent crusade on Christians.

According to the 2019 Global Terrorism Index, the Fulani militants are now deadlier than Boko Haram and carried out the majority of the Nigeria’s 2,040 documented terrorist fatalities in 2018.

Prior to last week’s killing, many had reportedly fled the town for safety. Rev. Biyela sent his own children away while he and his wife stayed back “praying and hoping for God’s restoration of peace and protection of the town and church.”

The governor of Taraba State, Darius Ishaku, released a statement condemning the murder of the pastor and his wife and sympathizing with the surviving members of Bileya’s family and church community.

“The killing of the pastor and his wife is wicked and inhuman,” the governor’s statement reads. “Killings of this nature have happened too often recently in Southern Taraba communities and this is unhelpful to the ongoing efforts of the government to achieve lasting peace among communities in the area.”

The couple were laid to rest Friday at the Christian Reformed Church Nigeria (CRCN) cemetery in Donga, Taraba State.

Dress rehearsal for revolution

To those who believe that the riots following the tragic death of George Floyd were unscripted, do I have a bridge for you! The mayhem perpetrated by radical left-wing groups such as BLM and Antifa (per AG Barr) were well-planned, and well-supplied. The domestic terrorists learned several important points from their nights of mayhem:

1.       They have the backing of Democrat politicians

2.       They have the support of the Democrat cadres: guilty white liberals

3.       Bored college kids will turn out in force for the demonstrations/riots to lend energy

4.       Their message, that America is a racist nation that must be fundamentally changed, and that police forces across the nation should be defunded, was resonant and effective

5.       By-and-large conservatives went into hiding (except Tom Cotton and President Trump)

To a revolutionary this is the perfect situation: strong support for the cause with weak opposition. Consequently, the next riots will not be as limited in scope or as constrained in levels of violence. Leftists sense their moment is now while America is weakened by the coronavirus. There is blood in the water.

What is the purpose of the riots, one might ask. The answer is, of course, political power. The anarchy may be a dress rehearsal for even more destructive riots to come later in the year, forcing governors to close polling stations as unsafe and order mail-in ballots for the general election in November. Democrats can then commit fraud on a national scale and steal the election for Biden. The Biden administration can then cover up the leftists’ Deep State coup against President Trump to complete the work that a HRC victory in 2016 was supposed to accomplish; and that the successful Stormy, Mueller, Impeachment, and Lockdown operations were designed to delay and deceive until Biden is installed. The ultimate purpose is to transform America into a communist state.

What many Americans may not fully realize is that a coup has also taken place in the Democrat party and that the socialist far-left wing has won. Biden, the moderate, may have taken the primaries but now he must pick a socialist with ties to Bernie Sanders, someone such as Elizabeth Warren, as his VP.  She will become president once Biden steps down, as he surely will, at some early point in his presidency. Then the socialist coup will be complete, and they will begin their work.

We all know how that story goes.

Desperate FakeNews Media in Overdrive

Desperate times call for desperate measures, as the saying goes. As the presidential election nears, Democrats, the media, and NeverTrumpers realize that President Trump is still popular, incredibly at 40 percent approval among likely black voters according to Rasmussen. Their chosen candidate, Joe Biden, belongs in a memory-care center rather than the White House, as this video from Joe’s recent appearance on The View demonstrates. One only needs to look at the faces of the harpies on the show as Joe struggles to utter a coherent sentence.

The Senate has finally awoken to its oversight responsibility and is beginning to hold hearings over the ObamaGate sedition conspiracy, which the media is dutifully refusing to cover as they are too busy chasing and fact-checking Trump’s latest tweets.

Several media stories, presented as gospel, are now crumbling as fast as the Russian collusion fable which we heard about non-stop for four years from the DNC cable news networks. It will be interesting to see now what the media chooses to cover, and what they conveniently ignore about the Chinese virus and now the peaceful protests riots.

Start with hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), a drug that’s been around for 60 years and is one of the safer drugs currently on the market. Ever since President Trump spoke of its potential benefits against the Wuhan virus, the medical establishment and fake news media have been in overdrive to discredit it.

If only Barack Obama had mentioned it early on as a potential treatment, then it would be in widespread use by now and Obama would be booking a trip to Sweden to collect the Nobel Prize in medicine. But since the Orange Man promoted it, the predominantly left-wing medical establishment have been on a jihad against the drug.

The Lancet, a once prestigious medical journal, recently retracted a study they published, supposedly debunking any benefits of HCQ. The study was performed by a sketchy data analytics company with only five employees, four of whom joined the company only recently after Trump began mentioning hydroxy.

It appears that The Lancet was so eager to publish the paper that, “They were unable to complete an independent audit of the data underpinning their analysis.” This sounds like Rod Rosenstein’s excuse to the Senate that he was too busy to review the FISA warrant applications that he signed, authorizing the FBI to spy on a presidential campaign.

The media was quick to promote the original, but now bogus, Lancet study. Fox News NeverTrumper Neil Cavuto warned, “I cannot stress this enough, this will kill you.” Yet the Lancet’s retraction is relegated to the back pages and nary a mention by cable news. Their priority is anti-Trump propaganda, not actual journalism. A potential treatment or cure exists, yet the media and medical establishment would rather people die over their Orange Man Bad derangement then use a potentially lifesaving drug.

Then there is the social distancing deemed so important by the basketball player and scarf queen. In fairness, at one time it served a purpose, to flatten the curve, preventing a potential overwhelming of medical facilities, ICU beds, and ventilators, but then became a never-ending excuse to keep the economy shut down, negating the Trump economic boom ahead of the election. From “15 days to flatten the curve” back in March to “Keep the economy shut down until November 4” to get Trump out of the White House.

A few weeks ago, at Lake of the Ozarks, cooped-up and fed-up Americans held a Memorial Day pool party. The St. Louis mayor was quick to criticize: “It’s irresponsible and dangerous to engage in such high risk behavior just to have some fun.”

Yet the St. Louis police chief seemed to have no problem with what she described as “mostly peaceful protests” with a distinct absence of social distancing, on a much larger scale than the pool party. Interestingly, two weeks after the deadly pool party, there are no new Chinese coronavirus cases reported from the Ozarks gathering.

Suddenly in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death, social distancing is but a distant memory, the fake news media no longer concerned about how close people are to each other.

Over 1,000 health professionals signed a letter: “Don’t shut down protests using coronavirus concerns as an excuse.” I’ll bet these same professionals told us Americans would die on a mass scale when state governors began reopening their states. I wonder how many of these “health professionals” rendered a psychiatric diagnosis of Trump’s unfitness for office without ever examining him?

In my home city of Denver: “Governor Jared Polis gave Colorado businesses the authority Thursday to refuse service to customers not wearing masks.” Yet downtown Denver protests, entering their second week, has no such mask mandate with many protesters not wearing masks, except those who want to conceal their identities as they stole a new phone or a flat screen television.

Remember the nurses posing for Instagram photos or Tik Tok videos with the message, “We stay at home for you, please stay at home for us”?  Now those same nurses are applauding demonstrators, not staying at home, not socially distancing, not wearing masks, possibly paving the way for a surge of COVID cases in their hospitals. What a difference a political opportunity makes, in this case George Floyd’s death.

Why is there no concern over the potential surge in COVID cases due to the protests and mass gatherings in many major U.S. cities? Fake News superstar New York Times warned a few weeks ago: “Governors face intensifying pressure to reopen their economies, but experts warn it could mean thousands of new deaths.” A few weeks later, we have mass gatherings that don’t seem to faze the NY Times. Why is that?

The same mayors that threatened to arrest anyone walking on an empty beach or giving a haircut are happy to have thousands gather in their cities, defying distancing rules by orders of magnitude.

Were they lying then or are they lying now? Schools reopened in the European Union with no rise in COVID cases, despite dire warnings to the contrary. Were the media and medical establishment lying to us all along in a deliberate to destroy the economy ahead of a presidential election? Or are they lying now about the dangers of the protests since the protests can be used for political advantage?

Speaking of George Floyd, how will the media and prosecutors handle this wrinkle? Floyd’s autopsy report says he tested positive for COVID-19. Floyd also, “had drugs in his system and severe heart disease when a Minneapolis police officer put a knee to his neck.”

And then this, applicable to Colorado, but valid in many places: “the discrepancy over people dying with COVID-19 versus of COVID-19 is due to federal reporting guidelines requiring the health department to report any COVID-positive death to the CDC, even if COVID-19 wasn’t thought to cause the death.”

Anyone watching the video has a pretty good idea why Floyd died, but ironically the medical deep state’s efforts to inflate the Chinese virus death counts may be problematic in the upcoming murder trials of the four Minneapolis police officers. Following guidelines of the vaunted CDC, defense lawyers could make a case that Floyd died of COVID as he had respiratory distress (“I can’t breathe”) and tested positive for the virus. As absurd as it sounds, the exaggerated COVID death count criteria chickens may come home to roost, in an unintended way.

As continued efforts to thwart Trump’s reelection ramp up, expect to see fake news blossom like spring flowers. From blatant falsehoods about tear gas in Lafayette Park to the White House going dark, the media will continue to lie rather than report the news, all in effort to interfere in an election. Funny I thought that was grounds for impeachment a few months ago.  Remember as Q says, the news is fake, but the war is real.

Democrat Insanity: Bill de Blasio RUINS NYC Economy — Allows Rioters to Loot Manhattan — Then Cuts Funding to Police!

New York Police van on fire at recent riots.

Avowed Socialist Bill de Blasio shut down the New York economy for months.

Then he sat back as rioters destroyed Manhattan this past week.

Here is a SHOCKING video of Manhattan from this week of all the stores and businesses boarded up thanks to the looting and violence of the recent far left protesters.

On Sunday Mayor de Blasio shifted millions in police funding to “local youth groups.”

This comes after police officers were shot, stabbed and ran over this week.
Holy crap!

It’s hard to think of a worse leader than Bill de Blasio.

Philly News Editor Ousted After Daring To Question Legitimacy Of Burning The City’s Buildings Down

Philly News Editor Ousted After Daring To Question Legitimacy Of Burning The City’s Buildings Down

Tyler Durden

Sun, 06/07/2020 – 17:35

Stan Wischnowski, the lead editor of The Philadelphia Inquirer, resigned on Saturday over a headline (dated June 2) titled "Buildings Matter, Too," which detailed the destructive nature of social unrest on the city’s local economy over the police killing of unarmed black man George Floyd, reported The New York Times

The headline drew immediate backlash from readers and staffers. The Inquirer issued an apology for a "horribly wrong" decision to publish the headline about looting and burning down buildings on the margins of protests. In its apology piece, The Inquirer said:

"The Philadelphia Inquirer published a headline in Tuesday’s edition that was deeply offensive. We should not have printed it. We’re sorry, and regret that we did. We also know that an apology on its own is not sufficient.

"The headline accompanied a story on the future of Philadelphia’s buildings and civic infrastructure in the aftermath of this week’s protests. The headline offensively riffed on the Black Lives Matter movement and suggested an equivalence between the loss of buildings and the lives of black Americans. That is unacceptable."

The apology also said the comparison between the destruction of private/public property and the lives of black folks was not intended.

"While no such comparison was intended, intent is ultimately irrelevant. An editor’s attempt to capture a columnist’s nuanced argument in a few words went horribly wrong, and the resulting hurt and anger are plain."

Dozens of the Inquirer’s 210-member editorial staff called out Wednesday, one day after the headline was posted. Black staff members were particularly angered by the headline and condemned senior editors for allowing it to be published. This is what they said in an open letter to management:

"We’re tired of shouldering the burden of dragging this 200-year-old institution kicking and screaming into a more equitable age," the letter said. "We’re tired of being told of the progress the company has made and being served platitudes about ‘diversity and inclusion’ when we raise our concerns. We’re tired of seeing our words and photos twisted to fit a narrative that does not reflect our reality. We’re tired of being told to show both sides of issues there are no two sides of."

The letter continued, "Things need to change."

Publisher and CEO Lisa Hughes told the editorial staff in a memo that the headline was "offensive and inappropriate."

Hughes released a statement on Saturday that said Wischnowski "has decided to step down as senior vice president and executive editor." She said the paper is searching for a successor:

"We will use this moment to evaluate the organizational structure and processes of the newsroom, assess what we need, and look both internally and externally for a seasoned leader who embodies our values, embraces our shared strategy, and understands the diversity of the communities we serve."

Here’s the Inquirer’s controversial headline:

What the headline was referring to:

In an upside-down world, a newspaper can’t even question the legitimacy of protesters looting and burning buildings (and even in some cases using explosives) in its reporting city without backlash.

Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam Will Not Use Guns In ‘Looney Tunes’ Reboot

Via Daily Wire:

That’s all, folks. The upcoming “Looney Tunes” reboot on HBO Max will be implementing a progressive update: stripping the characters Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam of their guns.

“Warner Bros is stripping Elmer Fudd of his rifle in a new Looney Tunes cartoon series on HBO Max, handicapping the grumpy hunter as he continues his decades-long pursuit of the wise-cracking Bugs Bunny,” reports New York Post. “The change in the latest incarnation of the iconic animated series is a response to the gun violence in the US.”

The original “Looney Tunes” cartoon regularly featured Elmer Fudd hunting Bugs Bunny with a rifle only to be outsmarted by his bag of tricks every time. Beyond Elmer Fudd, the show contained plenty of cartoon violence, from Wile E. Coyote’s skirmishes with the Road Runner to Speedy Gonzales escaping the clutches of Sylvester the
Cat.
