Del Rio Sector Border Patrol agents arrested a previously deported child rapist after he illegally re-entered the United States in South Texas.
Eagle Pass Border Patrol Station agents carrying out line-watch operations on June 1 observed a man illegally crossing the border from Mexico into Texas. The agents arrested the man for illegally entering the United States, according to information obtained from Del Rio Sector Border Patrol officials.
The agents transported the man to the Eagle Pass Station for processing, a medical screening, and a biometric background investigation. During a records check, the agents identified the man a 42-year-old Carlos Diaz-Salas, a citizen of Mexico. The database of his criminal history includes a conviction in 2004 for aggravated sexual assault of a child. A court in Nacogdoches, Texas, sentenced him to two years in state prison, officials stated. He also has a history of bail jumping and failure to appear in court.
Immigration records from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations indicates a history of seven deportations. The most recent deportation occurred in June 2006, officials reported.
Diaz-Salas now faces a new federal felony charge for illegally re-entering the United States after being removed as a felon sex offender. If convicted on the 8 USC § 1326 – re-entry after deportation charge, he could face up to 20 years in a federal prison.
“I commend our agents for continuing to protect our borders and communities in the midst of the ongoing pandemic and national crises,” Del Rio Sector Acting Chief Patrol Agent Doyle E. Amidon, Jr. said in a written statement. “Our agents’ focus and dedication prevented this felon from reaching the interior of the country and potentially inflicting more harm.”
We like to believe we’re living in unprecedented times, but we aren’t. The left is just rioting, looting, and burning like it’s 1968; and the Democrat Party is appeasing the rioters and going soft on crime like it’s 1968.
Trust me, there is nothing new under the sun, much less a gang of spoiled crybabies abusing a cause to justify their marauding, much less a Democrat Party believing they can harness that power to electoral victory, much less a corrupt media aiding and abetting it all.
No serious student of history will tell you we’re not watching a rerun.
And no serious student of history will tell you that, if past is prologue (and it always is), this will end well for Democrats.
That’s not to say President Trump will benefit. He’s president now, and voters might very well blame him for the unrest, might believe (mistakenly — as I’ll explain below) Joe Biden can usher in calmer times. As the polls show, Trump’s refusal to project calm and steadiness is not helping his case. When Trump most needs to act presidential, he either can’t or won’t, but that’s all beside the point. This is a long game we’re talking about here. Here are a couple of examples…
In the end, all the social unrest of the 60s turned the country to the right. For 20 out of 24 years, from 1968 to 1992, a Republican was president. And Democrats were only able to recapture the White House in 1992 because Bill Clinton ran as a New Democrat, especially when it came to being tough on crime.
What’s more, the only reason Democrats captured four of those 24 years was Watergate. Nevertheless, Jimmy Carter was still one-and-done.
In 1994, New York City had suffered through horrific decline and ruin after 20 years of soft-on-crime Democrat rule. The result was that one of the most left-wing cities in the country elected and then overwhelmingly reelected Republican Rudy Giuliani, who ran almost exclusively as a crimefighter. Giuliani was so successful that in 2002, the only way Mike Bloomberg could become mayor was to run as a Republican.
But as decades of quiet and calm domestic life wore on, people forgot why life was so good, forgot what it was like before, and here we are…
In 2014, 20 years after Giuliani was elected, New York took the good life for granted and made Bill de Blasio mayor, a soft-on-crime radical who’s already driven the city back into the dirt.
Nationwide, in 2008, after decades of domestic peace at the hands of conservative presidents (including Bill Clinton) and a relatively conservative Democrat Party, the country forgot how bad things had been in 1968, and voted to make Barack Obama, a radical leftist, president.
And what did Obama and his radical Democrats deliver? A return to the era of riots and social unrest.
It all started when Obama and Democrats embraced Occupy Wall Street — which has now morphed into the left-wing terrorists in Antifa and Black Lives Matter. On top of that, in order to create racial strife (that had nearly disappeared) and the false impression America is racist, Obama and Democrats embraced the Trayvon Martin, Hands Up, Don’t Shoot, and Baltimore hoaxes.
So here we are, welcome to 1968, where Democrats are now so radicalized they’re releasing violent criminals into their cities, encouraging illegal immigration into their cities, calling for the police to be defunded, dropping to their knees to plead for forgiveness for being white, and defending wanton rioting, looting, and lawlessness. But…
This can’t hold.
It can only end in electoral disaster.
To begin with, Democrats do not have the tiger by the tail. They cannot appease these mindless terrorists into behaving. Sorry, but you will never appease gangsters who have no demands and no goals, other than to wreak havoc. Appeasement is weakness; weakness invites aggression, and that means (just as we saw in the 60s), the crime and social unrest in these Democrat-run cities is only going to get worse, and as it does, the Democrats will find themselves in an electoral box there is no escape from.
Just as they did around the country in 1968 and in New York in 1994, eventually enough Democrat voters are going to get so sick and tired of the filth, crime, and unrest, they will demand something be done about it. But…
Democrats won’t be able to do anything about it because they are fully-owned and co-opted by the radical left, including the radical left-wing media.
This leaves only one option: Hold your nose and vote for a Giuliani.
This is the only possible outcome of what’s happening now, the only possible outcome of the rioting and criminality Democrats are endorsing today. Because the only possible outcome is crime, filth, high taxes, lower property values, and mindless social unrest — and after a while even Democrats will have had enough.
This isn’t going to happen overnight, but it will happen.

Amazon, the world’s dominant online distributor of books and e-books, is censoring a book about the Chinese virus from lockdown critic and former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson. Jeff Bezos and company gave Berenson a suggestion on how to adjust his approach: “Please consider removing references to COVID-19 for this book.”
Berenson’s book, titled Unreported Truths About COVID-19 And Lockdowns Part 1: Introductions and Death Counts and Estimates, was to be the first in a series of short e-books about the coronavirus. The author planned to publish via Amazons’ Kindle Direct service, which allows authors to self-publish electronic books.
But Amazon said no. In an email from Amazon that the author published on Twitter, the online retail giant informed the author that the book “does not comply with our guidelines,” and that Amazon customers are being referred to “official sources” about the virus.
“Due to the rapidly changing nature of information around the COVID-19 virus, we are referring customers to official sources for health information about the virus. Please consider removing references to COVID-19 for this book.”
Berenson is well-known for his 2019 book Tell Your Children: The Truth About Marijuana, Mental Illness and Violence, which challenged the prevailing liberal orthodoxy that cannabis has little to no harmful effects. Berenson’s book argued that the drug is in fact linked to mental illness and violence.
In comments to Breitbart News, Berenson explained the topic of his now-censored e-book on the coronavirus, calling it “An introduction and a discussion of death coding, death counts, and who is really dying from COVID, as well as a worst-case estimate of deaths with no mitigation efforts.”
Berenson added, “I briefly considered censorship but assumed I wouldn’t have a problem both because of my background, because anyone who reads the booklet will realize it is impeccably sourced, nary a conspiracy theory to be found, and frankly because Amazon shouldn’t be censoring anything that doesn’t explicitly help people commit criminal behavior. (Books intended to help adults groom children for sexual relationships, for example, should be off-limits – though about 10 years ago Amazon did not agree and only backed down from selling a how-to guide for pedophiles in the face of public outrage.)”
“I have no idea if the decision was made by a person, an automated system, or a combination (i.e. the system flags anything with COVID-19 or coronavirus in the title and then a person decides on the content),” said Berenson.
“I am considering my options, including making the booklet available on my Website and asking people to pay on an honor system, but that will not solve the problem of Amazon’s censorship.”
“Amazon dominates both the electronic and physical book markets, and if it denies its readers a chance to see my work, I will lose the chance to reach the people who most need to learn the truth — those who don’t already know it.”

America is too large and populous to have law and order in its streets maintained by the President of the United States without cooperation from local officials, said Ken Blackwell, former mayor of Cincinnati, Ohio, who offered his remarks on the Wednesday edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.
Blackwell and Marlow discussed protests and riots following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, MN.
Blackwell said, “Too many mayors are hiding in the shadows. Too many mayors don’t accept the fact that they are on the tip of the spear. We are a big country in terms of landmass. We’re over 325 million people. The president cannot control the streets from the Oval Office. Governors cannot control the streets from their governors’ mansions. It is the mayor — the mayors across this country — and local officials, police chiefs, and police forces that have to bring law and order and peace to our streets.”
LISTEN:
Blackwell added, “There’s a false juxtaposition of this being a struggle between people to peacefully protest versus wild West criminality.
Blackwell said that “intelligence officials across various levels of government” told him riots are part of an “assault by a domestic terrorist organization and their cohorts.”
Framing America as a country pathologized by “racism” is a “false narrative,” held Blackwell.
“The New York Times has their 1619 program, where they are spinning that narrative that America was born in racism — America will always be racist — and, therefore, we are a special case that must be beaten in the world court as one of the perpetrators of misery,” Blackwell stated.
Americans must not underestimate the impact of dialogue between themselves — with family, neighbors, and coreligionists — to “push back” against false characterizations of America as a “racist nation,” explained Blackwell. He noted that such conversations, done effectively, have compounding benefits over time in affecting popular attitudes and policies.
“You have to do what you can, with what you have, where you are, and with whom you can make that contact with,” said Blackwell of conservatives sharing their values with others who have little exposure to conservatism.
Blackwell continued, “It might be a small audience, but it will grow exponentially. That’s why it’s so important that folks like me and you can have this conversation, and believe me, it will have a multiplying effect, but we have to have it, and we have to be honest with one another.”
“I’ve criss-crossed this country,” Blackwell shared. “I’ve [traveled] all over this country and gone in the barrios and the neighborhoods and talked with people. What I came away realizing is that social and political and cultural change takes place on a variety of levels. Sometimes it takes direct street protests, lawful street protests. Sometimes it takes working in legislatures. Sometimes it takes court action, but it also takes family member talking to family member, neighbor talking to neighbor, church member talking to church member.”
Blackwell went on, “That’s heart-to-heart genuine dialogue. That’s how we effect change. It is not always rapid change, but you [need] the imagination of Jonathan Swift to think there has not been substantial change in racial attitudes in America over 240 years. We went from the institution of slavery to electing a black man [as] President of the United States in 240 years.”
“You have not seen that sort of change in any country,” Blackwell added. “Does that mean that everybody who finds himself on that lower rung of the ladder has had their challenges, promises, and opportunities expanded and dealt with? No, but as I said before, great nations [are not built] by growing government.”
Blackwell emphasized the importance of grassroots dialogue in expanding conservatism’s appeal across the public.
“It’s going to happen by good people doing great things and good things together, neighbor to neighbor, church member to church member, family member to family member,” concluded Blackwell. “That’s the way. That’s the human agency that we have to put against our challenges, and we cannot allow folks with a false narrative and no data to drive the conversation. We must have the courage to fight back.”
Breitbart News Daily broadcasts live on SiriusXM Patriot 125 weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Eastern.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), in an interview published Wednesday, explained why she rejects the term “rioting” in describing violent protests, contending that the word is part of “negative language used far too often in a description of black people by folks who fundamentally don’t see black people the same way they see whites and others.”
Waters spoke to The Cut about her “longtime fight over the language of insurrection and unrest versus rioting” and told the outlet that the unrest in recent days brought her to reflect on “what was going on back in the day, when I was confronting Daryl Gates, starting when the police shot Eula Love, which brought me in contact with the police commission and brought me to taking a look at what was going on with police community relations” years ago.
She spoke in depth about her experience with Gates, Los Angeles’s former police chief, and explained how those events shaped her view of the “negative language” used today.
“A lot of negative language gets used against black people, describing what whites often believe is true about us: that language includes ‘lazy,’ ‘criminal,’ and ‘rioting,’” Waters told the outlet.
“It’s all negative language used far too often in a description of black people by folks who fundamentally don’t see black people the same way they see whites and others,” she continued, drawing a connection between the protests in 1992 and those that have played out over the last week:
So when they talked about rioting in 1992, what I saw was an explosion of a hopelessness being played out. I’d been working with those children in public housing and understood what was going on with crack cocaine, that these communities had been dropped off of America’s agenda, and the only real interaction they had was with police: the use of a battering ram to break down a door, as Daryl Gates did, or stopping young black men on the street to have them spread their legs to be searched by police. So when this unfortunate situation happened, where we had a lot of these young people in the street, they were acting out in anger and frustration. It reminded me of much of which I saw this past weekend, with people who had been cooped up because of COVID-19, who have lost jobs, whose family members have been getting infected, and then you have this police officer put his knee on the neck of George Floyd and hold it for eight minutes-plus, while his life drained out on the sidewalk … that was the straw that broke the camel’s back. So yes, I said “insurrection”: People acting out of frustration and hopelessness and understanding that they don’t have an establishment — political or otherwise — that really cared about their ability to work or have good health care. Yes, I choose to call it an insurrection.
While it is true that there have been peaceful protests around the country, several demonstrations in major U.S. cities have turned into violent riots — a term Waters continues to reject. Over the past week, demonstrations in New York City, D.C., Philadelphia, and Santa Monica have quickly devolved as protesters took to the streets, attacking police officers, vandalizing buildings, smashing police vehicles, and looting businesses one by one:

Waters formally endorsed Joe Biden (D) this week after stating that Trump is “goading confrontation.” She also claimed the president is “not only talking about killing black people, he’s talking about killing young white children.”
Twenty-one GOP legislators asked President Donald Trump to preserve a program that rewards Fortune 500 companies that hire foreign graduates instead of American graduates from their own heartland GOP districts.
Led by Rep. Steve Stivers (R-Ohio), the 21 GOP legislators urged Trump in their June 2 letter to fast-track foreign workers into the Optional Practical Training (OPT) program — as well as into the J-1B and H-1B visa worker programs:
we ask your agencies [to] adopt appropriately streamlined processes to ensure international students can enroll in the fall and preserve the Optional Practical Training (OPT) program.
…
We believe several options are available to your agencies including the ability to waive certain interview requirements, prioritize the rescheduling of appointments that were canceled during COVID-19, and create a timely application and renewal process for professors, researchers, scientists, and those that are needed on U.S. campuses when instruction is expected to resume.
The letter was sent because Trump promised on April 22 that he would consider ways to get Americans into some of the roughly 1.3 million white-collar jobs held by visa workers throughout the United States. The proposals have been drafted, according to reports, but they are being held up by some of Trump’s deputies who promote Fortune 500 priorities.
“Every American is appalled at the fact that we have congressmen and women who are pushing for foreign students to be employed before our own American children,” said Hilarie Gamm, co-founder of the American Workers Coalition, a grassroots group of American professionals. She added:
With the worst job markets since the Great Depression facing graduating college students, our hope is that President Trump and his administration will remember the ‘American First’ message and promise of 2016, and put Americans first in line for jobs.
The pressure is also being applied by NumbersUSA, U.S. Tech Workers, and the Federation for American Immigration Reform.
36M Americans are now unemployed as another 3M filed for unemployment benefits this week. The Class of 2020 is graduating into the WORST job market in a generation.
The OPT program — and two sister programs — allows and encourages U.S. companies to hire foreign graduates from U.S. universities by exempting the OPT hires from paying Social Security and Medicare taxes.
The work programs now include roughly 500,000 foreign graduates each year. It was created and expanded by Presidents George Bush and Barack Obama without approval from Congress. Federal data shows that it shifts jobs and wealth from heartland states to the wealthy, Democrat-dominated states on the two coasts, and also to Texas.
The 21 Republican legislators also urged Trump to preserve two additional programs that provide a pipeline of foreign workers to Fortune 500 companies, Silicon Valley, and hospital chains.
These pipelines bypass the families, K-12 schools, and towns in heartland America who raise new generations of Americans because they are intended to help the CEOs consolidate control over valuable technologies and business sectors.
The letter said:
We further request your agencies coordinate the admission of medical residents and fellows on J-1 and H-1B visas scheduled to begin their training program on July 1, many of whom will make vital contributions at university hospitals. Without these residents and fellows, patient care will be disrupted.
The H-1B program keeps at least 600,000 foreign graduates in a wide variety of U.S. jobs needed by American professionals and recent graduates. The J-1 program has been used by hospital chains to import more than 50,000 doctors from poor, unhealthy countries instead of hiring and training young Americans.
The June 2 latter follows a May 26 letter in which 38 House and nine Senate Republicans asked Trump to keep the H-2B and H-2 visa programs. The H-2A program provides more than 200,000 farms workers to agriculture companies, and the H-2B programs provide roughly 100,000 foreign workers for a wide range of blue-collar jobs in landscaping, forestry, and hotels.
The Stivers letter was signed by just ten percent of the almost 200 GOP legislators in the House. The signatories are mostly from the corporatist wing of the GOP and include several members whose districts include universities that depend on the OPT program to attract foreign customers.
Along with Stivers, the signers include
Reps. Bill Flores (R-TX), Peter King (R-NY), Rodney Davis (R-IL), Chuck Fleischmann (R-TN), John Katko (R-NY), and Rob Woodall (R-GA), Fred Upton (R-MI), Peter Olson (R-TX), Ann Wagner R-MO) , Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Joe Wilson R-SC), Clay Higgins (R-LA), Morgan Griffith (R-VA), John Shimkus (R-Ill), David Schweikert (R-AZ), Tom Reed (R-NY), Don Bacon (R-NEB), Dan Newhouse (R-WA) and Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA).

Attorney General William Barr on Thursday reiterated that the far-left extremist group Antifa is involved in violent unrest amid protests over the death of George Floyd.
Barr said in a press conference that while he views most demonstrators have been peaceful, the Department of Justice uncovered proof that “extremist agitators” have involved themselves in protest to “pursue their own separate and violent agenda.”
“We have evidence that Antifa and other similar extremist groups, as well as actors of a variety of different political persuasions, have been involved in instigating and participating in the violent activity,” he explained.
In addition to Barr, FBI Director Christopher Wray weighed in on Antifa, stating that some groups have “set out to sow discord and upheaval, rather than join in the righteous pursuit of equality and justice.”
“We’ve directed our 200 joint terrorism task forces around the country to assist law enforcement with apprehending and charging violent agitators who are hijacking peaceful protests on a national level,” Wray added.
Barr’s comments come after he declared Sunday that violent unrest “instigated and carried out by Antifa and other similar groups in connection with the rioting is domestic terrorism and will be treated accordingly.”
“With the rioting that is occurring in many of our cities around the country, the voices of peaceful and legitimate protests have been hijacked by violent radical elements. Groups of outside radicals and agitators are exploiting the situation to pursue their own separate, violent, and extremist agenda,” Barr said in a statement. “It is time to stop watching the violence and to confront and stop it. The continued violence and destruction of property endangers the lives and livelihoods of others, and interferes with the rights of peaceful protestors, as well as all other citizens.”
Barr’s statement came as President Donald Trump announced that the United States will designate Antifa as a terrorist organization.
On Tuesday, a leading Texas law enforcement official said evidence shows Antifa was involved in the looting of an Austin store over the weekend.
“The protest and looting of Target in Austin that was done and organized by an Antifa web page and of course, the surveillance that was provided over the internet identifying where law enforcement resources were staged, was done over Antifa accounts,” Col. Steve McCraw, Director of the Texas Department of Public Safety, told reporters.
"A Protester Shot My Sister": Teenager Records Gut Wrenching Message After Deadly Riot Tyler Durden
Thu, 06/04/2020 – 16:25
A distraught teenager took to Facebook Live just two hours after her sister was murdered at a George Floyd protest.
"I hope y’all know what the fuck y’all did," said 19-year-old Jasmine Kelley following the death of 22-year-old Italia Marie Kelley at a Davenport protest on Sunday.
"My sister is gone because one of you, a protester, shot my sister. A protester, not the police!" she said through tears, adding "I lost my sister because of you. You! You are so mad at the police that you are hurting everyone else. You’re so mad at the police, you guys killed my sister." (via the New York Post)
“By you’re f—ing ignorance I gotta bury my sister. I gotta bury my sister because y’all brought guns. It wasn’t a rubber bullet, it was a f—ing gun.”
Kelly blamed the “ignorance of every single one of y’all that decided to shoot into a f—ing crowd” for the bullet that “just happened to hit my sister.”
Kelly vowed to “find out who the f–k did it,” saying it will be “the last thing you’ll ever remember.”
“Now I gotta bury the only person I had in my life, the person that took care of me, the person who took beatings for me so I didn’t have to, the person who was there for everything,” she sobbed. –New York Post

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released a report on Thursday that reveals 5 of 6 jobless recipients receive more money in government benefits than they would from work.
Of course, Pelosi and Democrats want to extend the program.
Why would anyone work?

Federal law enforcement officials have already opened probes into eaders of Antifa and other organizations who are reportedly behind riots and looting in more than a dozen cities across the U.S., acting Department of Homeland Security Chad Wolf told Fox News on Wednesday.
Wold also said the feds know who’s behind the violence.
“I think, overall, what we have seen as far as taking place, sort of boots on the ground in these metropolitan areas, are the groups like Antifa or anarchists in general,” he told Bret Baier.
“And those are the types of people that we see. That’s the intel that we’re getting back, primarily moving these violent protests and these organizations in a certain way. It usually occurs after nightfall. So, during the day, we usually see the nonviolent protests occurring,” Wolf said. “And then, when it gets to the night, we see the more violent protests starting to happen, criminals starting to take place, organized, loosely organized during the day to achieve a specific goal.”
“I think what we’re seeing right now, it’s loosely organized within a metropolitan city. Is it being organized across the country in an organized way? I don’t think that we see that yet. But, again, we’re continuing to analyze the intelligence and really getting the feedback from the state and local law enforcement officials in these individual cities,” Wolf said.
“So, we will continue to look at – we are partnering. We have a number of investigators at the department that are working with DOJ and working with FBI. We know that they have opened up a number of cases specifically targeting some of the leaders of Antifa and other organizations that are involved,” he said.
Attorney General Bill Barr also says the destruction in U.S. cities is being caused by far left radical groups such as Antifa and Black Lives Matter.
“We have evidence that Antifa and other similar extremist groups as well as actors of a variety of different political persuasions have been involved in instigating and participating in the violent activity. We are also seeing foreign actors playing all sides to exacerbate the violence,” Barr said.
James O’Keefe and Project Veritas also released their investigative report on the domestic terrorist group Antifa on Thursday morning. Project Veritas’s latest undercover report reveals how the leftist terror group Antifa practice eye gouging, beating their opponents and create an environment of fear and terror.
