Criminal Gangs Who Ransacked NYC Arrived In Chauffeured Cars, Used Power Tools, Witnesses Say

Mayor de Blasio and several high-ranking NYPD officials have already spoken out about the organized gangs of criminals who appear to be responsible for most of the looting in NYC. Now, a group of cops investigating the highly-coordinated crimes are telling local TV stations that they have evidence many of the looters were chauffeured to the "jobs" and brought large arsenals of power tools to help them break in.

Witnesses who spoke to these officers claimed they saw looters who showed up in separate vehicles work together in large groups to facilitate the looting that broke out in retail areas in Soho, Fifth Ave. and elsewhere.

According to ABC 6, one of the numerous eyewitness reports received by police came from Carla Murphy, who lives in Chelsea.

Murphy, in an interview Tuesday, said she started hearing commotion from mobs of people along her street and neighboring streets about 10:30 p.m. Monday night. She first watched from her building and then went down to the street and saw organized groups of people working together to break in to store after store in the West Side neighborhood.

"Cars would drive up, let off the looters, unload power tools and suitcases and then the cars would drive away," she said. "Then the cars would come back pick them up and then drive off to the next spot. They seemed to know exactly where they were going. Some of the people were local, but there were a lot of out-of-towners."

Murphy said she saw license plates from New Jersey and Pennsylvania and drivers had not even tried to hide their tags.

After calling 911 and not getting through, Murphy visited the 10th Precinct in Manhattan, where she says dispatchers mostly brushed her off. Police didn’t arrive on scene until hours later.

But then again, as Murphy said, many of the looters didn’t even bother to hide their tags. Unless they used exclusively stolen tags and managed to make it all the way into the city without being stopped, detectives will likely be rounding up many of those responsible for the looting and the mass property theft, using evidence captured by the hundreds of thousands of cameras recording movements in the city. NYPD detectives are trying to collect evidence from as many looted stores "as possible".

Police suspect many of the lootings involved a combination of anarchist agitators as well as gang members and other career criminals.

Officers who spoke with ABC 6 said the crews who "worked" the lootings clearly had a sophisticated communications system relying on text messages, messaging apps and lookouts.

For 3 Years, Media Let Antifa Off the Hook

President Donald Trump’s decision to label Antifa a domestic terrorist group – after he blamed them for vandalism and violence in the George Floyd protests – comes after three years of liberal journalists either ignoring or downplaying the far left organization’s history of violence.
Back in 2017, NBC’s Chuck Todd gave Antifa supporter and Dartmouth professor Mark Bray a platform to hock his propaganda book – despite Antifa already being labeled a terrorist organization by the state of New Jersey.
On the August 16, 2017 edition of MSNBC’s MTP Daily, Todd excused Antifa’s violent tactics as he set-up Bray: “The historical aspect of fascism has only been defeated with violence. I assume this the argument you’d make, right, Mark?”
Chuck Todd Aids in Promotion of Antifa Violence

“Mark Bray, you are writing this book Antifa, the Anti-Fascist Handbook. Explain this movement and its roots….What do you say to those that are concerned that: ‘Hey, you’re handing – you’re allowing this – these white supremacists to claim victim hood here….What do you say to that criticism since the President is trying to essentially create a false equivalency here?… The historical aspect of fascism has only been defeated with violence. I assume this the argument you’d make, right, Mark?”
— Host Chuck Todd to Antifa supporter Mark Bray on MSNBC’s MTP Daily, August 16, 2017.
Todd double-downed by inviting Bray on the August 20, 2017 edition of NBC’s Meet the Press. There were no questions from Todd about Antifa’s argent support for communism, an ideology that was responsible for killing over 100 million people and counting. And no mention of Antifa throwing bottles of urine at police in Boston, or the dragging of an older Trump supporter across the ground.
CNN’s Don Lemon in 2018 tried to have it both ways by claiming while he didn’t condone violence he insisted that “you have to fight fire with fire sometimes” and argued “no organization is perfect.”
Don Lemon Defends Antifa

“It says it right in the name, Antifa, Anti-Fascism, which is what they’re fighting. Listen. There is, you know, no organization is perfect. There is some violence. No one condones the violence. But there are different reasons for Antifa and for these neo-Nazis to be there. One, racists, fascists, the other group fighting racists, fascists, there is fascists. There is a distinction there.”
— Host Don Lemon talking about Antifa on CNN Tonight, August 28, 2018.
“Sometimes you can’t fight people by – you know – praising them or being nice to them. You have to fight fire with fire sometimes. Listen I’m not advocating violence.”
— Host Don Lemon on CNN Tonight, August 13, 2018.
Lemon’s CNN colleague Chris Cuomo in 2018 justified Antifa violence by asserting the left has “morality” on their side and they are “true” to a “good cause.”
Cuomo Justifies Antifa Violence Saying Left Has “Morality” On Their Side

“All punches are not equal morally. In the eyes of the law, yes. But in the eyes of good and evil, here’s the argument: if you’re a punk that comes to start trouble in a mask and hurt people, you’re not about any virtuous cause. You’re just somebody who’s going to be held to the standard of doing something wrong. But when someone comes to call out bigots and it gets hot, even physical, are they equally wrong as the bigot they are fighting? I argue, no. Fighting against hate matters….Drawing a moral equivalency between those espousing hate and those fighting it because they both resort to violence emboldens hate, legitimizes hateful belief and elevates what should be stamped out.”
— Host Chris Cuomo on Chris Cuomo Prime Time, May 18, 2018.

CNN’s Cuomo Justifies Antifa Violence: “True” to a “Good Cause”

“Whether you want to talk about Antifa or Black Lives Matter or any of the groups that assembled that day to fight against neo-Nazis, you make a moral equivalent between those two actions, you’re making a mistake in America. The President did it, that day….One of the groups was created to kill people they don’t like. The other group and Black Lives Matter has hangers-on and aberrant actors within their ranks but the groups were not created to destroy parts of humanity….There are certainly aspects of them that are true to a cause. That is a good cause. They want social justice and whatever they want in that context….You don’t draw a moral equivalency between neo-Nazis and the people there to fight against them.”
— Host Chris Cuomo on CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time, April 29, 2019.
Former CNN host Kamau Bell actually spoke at a 2017 Antifa rally replete with violence. In 2019, Bell sat by as he marveled at an Antifa member who just went by the name Ariel as she pulled out weapons from her bag.

CNN Host Marvels at Antifa Member’s Assortment of Weapons

Host Kamau Bell: “So, how would you describe yourself in relation to Antifa.”
Ariel: “The way I describe Antifa is more like this. Like, do you approve of fascism?”
Bell: “No.”
Ariel: “Then, you can consider yourself Antifa if you chose to. So, if you’re opposed to fascism – ”
Bell: “Yeah, I am.”
Ariel: “Then you are Antifa because it’s anti-fascism.”…
Bell: “Now, we have to talk about stuff you see on the news. And specifically, you like, you’ve actually at times had to get out there and mix it up. What was it like?”…
Bell: “Oh, I love that these are – ”
Ariel [pulling weapons out of her bag]: I know, I like that.”
Bell: “Can I put this on? [Puts on brass knuckles]. Wow, and this is – [opens a large pocket knife]”
Ariel: “I usually have a couple of those on me just in case.”
Bell: “Oh, just in case.”
Ariel: “I use it for whatever I need to use it for.”
Bell: “Point taken.”
— CNN’s United Shades of America, May 5, 2019.
That episode glorified a Washington-based Antifa chapter called the Puget Sound John Brown Gun Club (JBGC), describing them as the “good guy[s].” One of it’s members was killed by police for attempting to burn down a migrant detention center in Tacoma, Washington while armed with a rifle and incendiary devices.

Tucker Carlson’s Home Attacked By Antifa, Nets Yawn

In 2018, Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s home was attacked by Antifa activists. Fox News’ media reporter Howard Kurtz noted that the radical mob “pushed against his front door until it cracked.” Carlson talked with Kurtz about the attack and he told his colleague: “These weren’t protesters, they were people who came to threaten my family. Their threats are designed to shut people up.” The CBS Evening News was the only network broadcast program to mention the assault on Carlson’s home.

National Guardsmen Stand Sentry At Lincoln Memorial

The Lincoln Memorial is sacred ground for America’s civil rights movement.

In 1939, after the Daughters of the American Revolution refused to allow a black singer to perform, Eleanor Roosevelt helped arrange a performance on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on Easter Sunday. More than 75,000 people attended the show, which was broadcast live nationwide on radio.

In 1963, Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his “I Have A Dream” speech from the steps of the Memorial, with the 19-foot statue of Abraham Lincoln towering behind him. More than 250,000 people packed the National Mall.

But the Memorial, honoring the president who issued the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, was defaced over the weekend, with vandals spray-painting “Yall not tired yet?” beside the entrance steps.

That won’t be happening again any time soon.

On Tuesday night, dozens of National Guardsmen and federal police officers in bullet-proof vests lined the steps atop the Lincoln Memorial, facing off with a large gathering of protesters.

President Donald Trump on Monday activated all members of the D.C. National Guard to protect memorials and monuments in America’s capital, as well as to stem further violence from protesters and looters.

“I am taking immediate presidential action to stop the violence and restore security and safety in America,” Trump said in a White House Rose Garden speech. “I am mobilizing all available federal resources — civilian and military — to stop the rioting and looting, to end the destruction and arson, and to protect the rights of law-abiding Americans, including your Second Amendment rights.”

“I am also taking swift and decisive action to protect our great capital, Washington, D.C.,” he continued. “What happened in this city last night was a total disgrace. As we speak, I am dispatching thousands and thousands of heavily armed soldiers, military personnel, and law enforcement officers to stop the rioting, looting, vandalism, assaults, and the wanton destruction of property.”

Rioters on Sunday night rampaged across the nation’s capital, defacing monuments and memorials and setting fire to St. John’s Episcopal Church, known as the church of presidents because of its proximity to the White House. The church, built in 1816 and located just across Lafayette Square, has been visited by every president from James Madison on. Lincoln prayed in the church shortly before the end of the Civil War.

Fires raged across Washington, D.C., and several other national monuments, including the Lincoln Memorial, were defaced by rioters. “In the wake of last night’s demonstrations, there are numerous instances of vandalism to sites around the National Mall,” the National Park Service (NPS) for the National Mall said in a tweet on Sunday.

The World War II Memorial was also defaced, with someone scrawling “Do black vets count?”

All the graffiti was removed.

Nationwide, protesters demanded justice for George Floyd, a Minneapolis man who died after a police officer arresting him for allegedly passing a counterfeit $20 bill knelt on his neck for more than eight minutes on May 25. Videos shot by bystanders shows white Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck, even as Floyd repeatedly said he could not breathe. Three other officers are seen nearby, but none took action.

Washington, D.C., enacted a 7 p.m. curfew after several nights of violent protest and looting.

And more troops are on the way, just in case. “Troops from Indiana, South Carolina and Tennessee were expected to arrive by Tuesday night in the capital. Maryland and Ohio have also sent troops to the District. Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D) said that he refused the Pentagon’s request,” The Hill reported.

From Impeachment, To Pandemic, To Riots, Wildfires And Killer Hornets, 2020 Is Wild — And About To Get Even Crazier

Can 2020 get crazier? You bet. We’re just getting started.

If you wrote a screenplay of what’s happened so far in 2020 and gave it to Hollywood producers, they’d laugh you right out of the room.

“So, your movie,” they’d say, “has the president of the United States being impeached, a pandemic killing more than 100,000 Americans and 375,000 worldwide, race riots and looting in dozens of U.S. cities, a billion animals killed in Australian wildfires, Brexit, royals abdicating, drone strikes whacking terrorists — and a wave of killer hornets to boot? Get out!”

And here’s the thing: We’re only 155 days into the year. Coming up: The craziest U.S. presidential election in history, with a 72-year-old megalomaniac incumbent and a 77-year-old challenger who can hardly remember where he is.

But let’s sum up what’s happened so far in 2020 (some of it now seems like it was years ago).

Jan. 2: The year got off to a fiery start, literally. Australian officials declared a state of emergency as brushfires spread across the country, eventually burning tens of millions of acres and killing an estimated one billion animals.

That same day: President Trump orders the killing of Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani by the U.S. military via drone strike after Iran attacked a base in Iraq, wounding Americans.

Jan. 7: The Chinese branch of the World Health Organization (WHO) is notified that there’s a new novel coronavirus in town — SARS-CoV-2.  But WHO says don’t worry, it’s not all that bad. Seriously.

The next day: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announce they’re giving up their royal royalness, saying on Instagram that moving to Los Angeles to be mega-celebrities will “enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition.” Huh?

Jan. 11: Whoops. China records its first COVID-19 death. But don’t worry, WHO says, the virus is well contained, so we’re all good.

Jan. 16: The trial of Trump begins nearly a month after the House passes two articles of impeachment — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. It will drag on for weeks as lawmakers completely ignore that pesky virus in China and focus on a phone call Trump made to the president of Ukraine.

Jan. 20: Whoops. The first case of COVID-19 is diagnosed in Washington state. But Trump and top U.S. officials say don’t worry, it won’t spread widely. No need for masks.

Jan. 31: The United Kingdom withdraws from the European Union in a move dubbed Brexit. “The most important thing to say tonight is that this is not an end but a beginning,” British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said.

And that’s just January.

In February, the Iowa Democratic caucuses are a disaster, with results delayed for weeks over “quality control” issues. Trump is acquitted of the charges in a party line vote (if you consider Sen. Mitt Romney a Democrat, which he sorta is). WHO dubs the virus COVID-19, but still says it should all be fine. And the “#MeToo” movement culminates with film producer Harvey Weinstein being found guilty of rape and sentenced to 23 years in prison.

In March, numerous Democratic candidates drop out even before Super Tuesday (after which Sen. Elizabeth Warren bails, too). Italy locks down the entire country as SARS-CoV-2 sweeps through, eventually killing more than 30,000. WHO finally decides that COVID-19 really is bad, declaring the virus a pandemic. Days later, the Dow plunges nearly 3,000 points, the single largest drop in more than 30 years. The Tokyo Olympics are canceled and Americans go into full lockdown, with governors and mayors shutting down restaurants and most businesses. But the U.S. Surgeon General demands people stop buying masks.

In April, COVID-19 cases worldwide top 1 million. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont drops out, leaving just Joe Biden left standing. New York state becomes the U.S. leader in COVID-19 cases, a title it will never relinquish. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, says there’s “no evidence” small businesses are suffering. Tens of millions finally get some relief from the federal government in the form of $1,200 checks, but 30 million Americans lose their jobs. COVID-19 deaths double, then triple. U.S. officials now say everyone should wear masks.

In May, Asian “murder” hornets hit the headlines. Government officials tighten lockdowns nationwide, and another 10 million Americans lose their jobs. It all gets worse and worse — then George Floyd, an unarmed black man, dies after a Minneapolis police officer kneels on his neck for over eight minutes. None of the four officers at the scene were charged for four days. Now, riots are sweeping the nation (with peaceful demonstrators also protesting the plight of blacks in America).

That brings up to date. Still to come, more riots, more craziness, then the most contentious presidential election in history.

Is there any way we all can all just go back to bed and wake up in 2021?

Germany Warns Far-Left Antifa Infiltrating Climate Movement

German security services have warned that far-left Antifa extremists have begun infiltrating climate change groups to gain legitimacy and spread their anti-state anarchist ideology.

Germany’s Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) and other agencies have claimed that there has been evidence of left-wing extremists attempting to radicalise more moderate climate change groups. One such movement is Fridays for Future, spearheaded by Swedish teen activist Greta Thunberg.

Last October, the BfV labelled the group Ende Gelände (End of the Land) as belonging to the far-left extremist scene, with Berlin’s head of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Michael Fischer, stating the group was “agitating against our political system in the Federal Republic”, Die Welt reported on Tuesday.

The group is said to advocate for “system change” and the hashtag “System change, not climate change” was supported by Fridays for Future on German social media.

Ende Gelände has been noted for their protests against open-pit lignite (brown coal) mines across Germany including in Hambach in 2018 where a security agency report claims the activists engaged in violence towards police and trespassing in mines.

While some politicians have criticised the security agencies for labelling the group as extremists, the German police union welcomed the move, saying: “Of course, a distinction is made between peaceful and non-peaceful or violent supporters. Conversely, this also means that the ‘peaceful’ also have to actively distance themselves from the ‘violent’ and separate.”

The report is not the first time far-left extremism has been associated with climate activism. In July of last year, Greta Thunberg herself was pictured wearing an Antifa T-shirt.

She later apologised, saying: “Yesterday I posted a photo wearing a borrowed T-shirt that says I’m against fascism. That T-shirt can apparently to some be linked to a violent movement. I don’t support any form of violence and to avoid misunderstandings I’ve deleted the post. And of course I am against fascism.”

Democrat NC Governor Rejects GOP Convention Demand; Trump: You Just Lost Your State ‘Hundreds Of Millions Of Dollars,’ Jobs

On Tuesday, Democratic North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper officially rejected the Republican Party’s demand that he pre-authorize a “full” Republican National Convention as planned in Charlotte in late August. In response, President Trump announced that his party will now be looking to bring their economy-boosting, job-creating convention to another state.

In a letter sent to Republican leaders on Tuesday, Gov. Cooper said that he, under the advisement of public health officials, could not pre-authorize the party to hold a full, in-person convention, citing the ongoing COVID-19 “states of emergency” across the country.

“With the Nation, the State of North Carolina, and the city of Charlotte still under states of emergency, it’s important to conduct the RNC convention accordingly,” Cooper wrote Tuesday in a letter to Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.  “As much as we want the conditions surrounding COVID-19 to be favorable enough for you to hold the Convention you describe in late August, it is very unlikely. Neither public health officials nor I will risk the health and safety of North Carolinians by providing the guarantee you seek.”

“The people of North Carolina do not know what the status of COVID-19 will be in August, so planning for a scaled-down convention with fewer people, social distancing and face coverings is a necessity,” the governor wrote, adding that he would be glad to consider discussing a scaled-down convention.

In response, Trump announced in a three-tweet statement that the governor’s refusal has forced the Republican Party to “spend millions of dollars” somewhere other than Cooper’s state. The governor’s decision, he wrote, will end up costing North Carolina jobs and “hundreds of millions of dollars” in potential revenues.

“Had long planned to have the Republican National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, a place I love,” Trump tweeted Tuesday. “Now, [NC Gov.] Roy Cooper and his representatives refuse to guarantee that we can have use of the Spectrum Arena — [s]pend millions of dollars, have everybody arrive, and then tell them they will not be able to gain entry.”

“Governor Cooper is still in Shelter-In-Place Mode, and not allowing us to occupy the arena as originally anticipated and promised,” Trump continued. “Would have showcased beautiful North Carolina to the World, and brought in hundreds of millions of dollars, and jobs, for the State. Because of [Gov. Cooper], we are now forced to seek another State to host the 2020 Republican National Convention.”

Trump’s statement followed McDaniel’s statement earlier in the day that the party would be looking elsewhere to hold its convention if Cooper continued to “drag his feet,” explaining that the RNC has “an obligation to our delegates and nominee to begin visiting the multiple cities and states who have reached out in recent days about hosting an historic event to show that America is open for business.”

In a tweet Tuesday, Cooper wrote, “We have been committed to a safe RNC convention in North Carolina and it’s unfortunate they never agreed to scale down and make changes to keep people safe. Protecting public health and safety during this pandemic is a priority.”

McDaniel replied: “What’s unfortunate is that you still have yet to give guidance on what ‘scaled down’ means. Currently, you allow 10 people to gather indoors. Is that what scaled down means? Or is it 100 people? 1,000 people? Total lack of clarity from you.”

Raw Video Of Teen Girl Crying Over Sister’s Death: ‘A Protester Shot My Sister, Not The Police!’

Two people were fatally shot and two others, including a police officer, were injured as gunfire rang out in Davenport, Iowa, during George Floyd protests-turned-riots, late Sunday night.

One of the women killed was 22-year-old Italia Marie Kelly, who is biracial. According to the young woman’s family, Kelly was fatally shot by another protester while getting into a car.

Following the tragic and senseless shooting, Kelly’s 19-year-old sister Jasmine Kelly took to Facebook Live to lament the violence and rip into the “ignorant” protesters who took her sister from her.

“I hope y’all know what the f*** y’all did,” an emotional Jasmine starts. “My sister is gone and it’s not from a cop. It wasn’t from no f***ing cop! … My sister is gone because one of you, a protester, shot my sister. A protester, not the police!”

“Because you guys, I lost my sister,” she continued. “I lost my sister because of you. You! You are so mad at the police that you are hurting everyone else. You’re so mad at the police, you guys killed my sister.”

“For those who don’t know, it wasn’t the police who shot my sister, it was one of y’all!” she exclaimed.

“And I swear to God we will find out who the f*** did it, and I promise to God it will be the last thing y’all ever remember,” Jasmine said, in tears. “Y’all wild as f***, y’all walk around with guns, and you act and you pretend to be tough and you pretend to be something you’re not, and you got my sister killed.”

“Not by the police,” she emphasized, “but by your ignorance, by you’re f***ing ignorance I gotta bury my sister. I gotta bury my sister because y’all brought guns. It wasn’t a rubber bullet, it was a f***ing gun.”

“So I hope y’all know, this wasn’t the police, this was the ignorance of every single one of y’all that decided to shoot into a crowd, and that bullet just happened to hit my sister,” she continued.

“It wasn’t the police, it was you!” Jasmine yelled. “And now I gotta bury the only person I had in my life, the person that took care of me, the person who took beatings for me so I didn’t have to, the person who was there for everything, when I had my seizures.”

According to Times Union, Kelly’s aunt Amy Hale said her niece “was struck in the back by a bullet that went through her shoulder and chest, likely killing her instantly.” The 22-year-old was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

“She was always smiling, always laughing. That’s why it’s so sad that she was taken in such a violent way,” Hale told the Times Union. “That is not Italia. She was the bright, bubbly big personality in the room.”

Black Americans Killed in Riots Across American Cities

At least four black American men and one biracial woman have been killed in riots wreaking havoc on American cities over the last week.

Rioting first started on May 28 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, over the death of George Floyd, who was allegedly murdered by police officer Derek Chauvin. Since then, the riots have spread to major cities like New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Oakland, Louisville, and St. Louis.

The riots have led to more death, especially among black Americans. The victims include:

Dave Patrick Underwood

On May 29, Dave Patrick Underwood, 53-years-old, was killed during riots in Oakland, California. Underwood, according to police, was trying to keep the peace during riots when he was fatally shot.

“My brother, Dave Patrick Underwood, a federal officer, was murdered 5/29/20 in Oakland California, while on duty during the riots,” Underwood’s sister wrote on her Facebook page. “This Violence Must Stop.”

Italia Marie Kelly

On the evening of May 31, 22-year-old Italia Marie Kelly, a biracial woman, was killed in a random shooting as she was leaving a protest in Davenport, Iowa. Kelly had been attending a protest after work in support of George Floyd but decided to leave when the crowd became unruly.

That’s when police said Kelly was struck by a random bullet, likely killing her instantly.

“She was always smiling, always laughing,” Kelly’s aunt told the Associated Press. “That’s why it’s so sad that she was taken in such a violent way. That is not Italia. She was the bright, bubbly big personality in the room.”

David McAtee

On June 1, 53-year-old David McAtee was shot and killed in Louisville, Kentucky during riots. According to police, law enforcement had been clearing a crowd in the area when they heard gunshots and returned fire.

McAtee was hit by one of the bullets and died. The incident is under investigation.

“We lost a wonderful citizen. David was a friend to many, a well-known barbecue man,” Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer told the Associated Press.

Chris Beaty

On May 30, Chris Beaty, a 38-year-old real estate broker and former Indiana University football player, was shot and killed by rioters in Indianapolis, Indiana, who were on a robbing spree.

An eyewitness said Beaty had been trying to stop two thieves from robbing two women of their purses, telling them, “You don’t need to do this. There’s a better way.” The thieves then shot Beaty, killing him.

Was it Ever Really About the Virus?

For the past four months, Americans have endured a constant barrage of news and fear porn about the Wuhan coronavirus. The country has been locked down as tightly as Anthony Weiner’s infamous laptop computer, now finally starting to slowly reopen.

We have heard about ventilators and ICU beds, social distancing and masks, death counts and vaccines, all to the point of over-saturation. Fox News ran a nearly constant death count side bar and CNN blamed the virus, the resulting economic shutdown, and every other bit of trouble in the world on their least favorite president ever.

Only those in a coma or living in a Siberian cave weren’t aware of the Chinese virus and the havoc it brought to not only America but also to the rest of the world. Digital media provided confirmation. But suddenly it all stopped.

Coronavirus has been the most searched term on Google in 2020. At the time of this writing, on the last day of May, three-quarters of the top trending Google searches relate to the country-wide riots over the death of George Floyd. Virtually no searches of the Chinese coronavirus.

Twitter provides another barometer. Of the top trending Twitter topics on the same day noted above, a third were tied to the riots, but nothing regarding the Wuhan flu.

How could such a black swan event disappear from the news so quickly? This is another example of Rush Limbaugh’s “drive-by media”, quickly driving past a story that is no longer of use or relevance to the DNC media apparatus.

Was the past four months of media hysteria and panic really about the virus? Or was it instead a means to a desired end? The viral pandemic must be behind us as big city mayors, who a few weeks ago threatened to arrest anyone going swimming or attending church now ignore massive crowds on their streets, few wearing masks.

YouTube screen grab of unmasked non-socially distanced looters shopping at the Nike store on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.

The anti-Trump triumvirate of the media, deep state, and Democrat party have been working nonstop to derail the Trump presidency. They illegally spied on candidate Trump, continued to spy on President Trump using distractions to hide their seditious activities. Starting with the Mueller investigation, transitioning into the Ukraine phone call and nonsensical impeachment, then the Wuhan virus, now the riots.

Are these all unrelated events? Or are they like aspen trees in Colorado, “One aspen tree is actually only a small part of a larger organism. A stand or group of aspen trees is considered a singular organism with the main life force underground in the extensive root system.” The triumvirate described above is the underground root system with particular events as the actual trees.

For example, let’s pick a random bleak midwinter date of say, January 15. Three interesting things happened on that day. Was it a massive coincidence or a clue that today’s events may not really be about the virus?

From the New York Times, “On Jan. 15, at the international airport south of Seattle, a 35-year-old man returned from a visit to his family in the Wuhan region.” Days later he became, “The first person in the United States to test positive for the coronavirus.”

That same day, President Trump and Chinese Vice Premier Liu signed the US-China Phase 1 trade deal. Also on January 15, the US House delivered articles of impeachment against the President to the Senate. The House passed impeachment in December, yet they waited until this day for their solemn walk across the Capitol.

Impeachment failed and China was on the economic ropes. How convenient that a nasty virus of unclear origin, laboratory versus wet market, was delivered to the US on January 15. It then took a sledgehammer to the US economy, coincidently leaving China relatively unscathed.

The triumvirate insisted that the economy close, perhaps indefinitely. Social distancing, masks, and stay-at-home orders flattened the curve. The US medical system, while stressed, was never overrun as was predicted. Trump’s approval rating remained stable during the pandemic, despite the triumvirate’s efforts to destroy him. The Dow recovered more than half its lost value and the country is reopening.

Jason Furman, a top economist in the Obama administration made this startling, and horrific to many, prediction in early April, “We are about to see the best economic data we’ve seen in the history of this country.” Other former Obama officials panicked, “This is my big worry” said a former Obama White House official who is still close to the former president. Asked about the level of concern among top party officials, he said, “It’s high — high, high, high, high.”

Time for a new narrative, one the Democrats play like a fiddle, the race card. In another coincidence, George Floyd and the police officer Derek Chauvin, who pressed his knee on Floyd’s neck, worked together at the same Minneapolis nightclub. Did they know each other? Is there more to this story? Chauvin is white and Floyd is black, the correct combination for outrage, protests, and riots.

A few years ago when Somali-American Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor shot a white woman named Justine Ruszczyk, there was a court trial but no civil unrest. Perhaps that was the wrong combination.

How quickly everyone forgot about the virus. Cable and network news are focused exclusively on the riots. Almost no one is talking about COVID 19. No one at CNN is calling these protesters racist for defying social distancing rules and mask use as they merrily destroy their cities, looting already decimated businesses in their neighborhoods.

Attending church or a gathering of more than ten people was only recently grounds for arrest. Not today as hundreds gather in close proximity in what the media describe as “peaceful protests.”  No one seems to be concerned about a potential surge in Wuhan virus cases due to the rioters, negating America’s sacrifice in staying home for the past three months. It’s almost as if this is part of a grand plan.

Were these protests and riots spontaneous or preplanned and organized? Why were pallets of bricks delivered into the protest zones in Dallas, Chicago, Manhattan and other cities? Did they just fall out of the sky?

Is the virus the latest unsuccessful attempt to destroy the Trump presidency? Are the riots an attempt to gin up support for the joke of a candidate Joe Biden? The Washington Post answers that with this headline, “New data finds young black Americans aren’t as enthusiastic about Biden — or opposed to Trump — as their elders.” What better than a race war to rile up the Democrat base.

Instead these riots have unintentionally shown us that Trump rallies are safe and that the Chinese virus is no longer a serious threat. Mail in ballots are dead too since if people can leave their homes to loot and riot, they can leave their homes to vote.

Notice how quickly concern about cities and states opening too quickly has been forgotten as thousands take to the streets, in contradiction to everything the smart set has been advocating. This is lost, or willfully ignored by the media, now focused back on Trump’s latest tweet.

As the enigmatic Q says, “All assets deployed, win by any means necessary, everything is at stake.” Was it really about the virus or destroying Trump?

If the viral pandemic of a lifetime can be so quickly forgotten, replaced by opportunistic riots, civil unrest, and insurgency, one wonders if the virus was really the existential threat we were told it was. Was it ever really about the virus or about the election?
