Fake Licenses Flood US Ahead of Critical Election

Fake IDs are pouring into America this year, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Through the end of June, federal officials had confiscated 19,888 fake driver’s licenses at Chicago O’Hare International Airport alone as part of 1,513 shipments, CBP announced in a news release. Officials said the major sources of the fake IDs were…

Rape Suspect Released From Jail Due To COVID Kills Woman Who Accused Him

Rape Suspect Released From Jail Due To COVID Kills Woman Who Accused Him

Sun, 08/09/2020 – 09:45

In what is a perfect display of the efficiency of governments in dealing with the coronavirus outbreak, a Virginia rape suspect who was released from jail due to Covid concerns turned right around and killed the woman who accused him as soon as he was let out.

Ibrahim E. Bouaichi shot and killed his accuser in late July after he was released from jail on April 9, according to Fox News.

He was indicted last year on charges including rape, strangulation and abduction. His accuser, Karla Elizabeth Dominguez Gonzalez, had testified against him in court in December of last year.

Bouaichi was jailed in Alexandria, VA without bond until the pandemic hit, at which point his lawyers argued for his release until trial due to the virus "endangering" inmates. He was released by Circuit Court Judge Nolan Dawkins on $25,000 bond as a result.

The conditions of his release were that he only leave his home to meet with his lawyers or pretrial services officials. Now, he’s accused of killing Gonzalez on July 29.

On Tuesday of last week, police made it known they were looking for Bouaichi, who they described as "armed and dangerous". On Wednesday, officials said he was spotted and pursued in Prince George’s County where he crashed his vehicle and reportedly shot himself. On Thursday, he was listed in "grave condition".

Bouaichi’s attorneys commented they were “certainly saddened by the tragedy both families have suffered here” and "were looking forward to trial. Unfortunately, the pandemic continued the trial date by several months and we didn’t get the chance to put forth our case.”

Judge Dawkins retired from the bench in June and didn’t respond to requests for comment.

7-Year-Old Boy In Georgia Died “From COVID-19”? There’s Just One Thing…

7-Year-Old Boy In Georgia Died "From COVID-19"? There’s Just One Thing…

Tyler Durden

Sun, 08/09/2020 – 11:50

Authored by Trevor Thomas via AmericanThinker.com,

It has been widely reported in the last several days that, sometime within the past ten days to two weeks, a seven-year-old boy from Chatham County (the Savannah area), Georgia died "from COVID-19."

If the media didn’t say the child died "from COVID-19" they reported that he died "of COVID-19" or "of coronavirus."

Even Fox News declared,

"A 7-year-old old boy from Savannah, Ga., with no underlying conditions, became the youngest victim to die from the coronavirus …"  (Emphasis mine.)

Like Fox News, virtually all of the media repeatedly reported that the child had "no underlying conditions."

Even my local radio station — repeating the deception every 30 minutes for hours on end — which, among other conservative programming, carries The Rush Limbaugh Show, helped perpetuate this latest example of Wuhan virus "fear porn."

The AP — whose stories are often widely distributed in the media — did more accurately report that the boy died "with COVID-19."  However, the AP went on to say,

"The boy had no other chronic health conditions, according to data released by the state[.] … The boy’s death comes amid nationwide debate about the risks that children face in getting infected or spreading the coronavirus, particularly as the school year begins."

The implication is that schools should not reopen, fall sports should not be played, and America must remain in shutdown mode.  If not for our own sakes, we must do it "for the children!"  As is often the case with so many things when it comes to the Wuhan virus and the drive-by media, few things could be farther from the truth.

As of late Friday evening, except for one Savannah TV station — whose more accurate account I first found via Facebook — I could find no drive-by media telling the whole story on this tragic episode.

WTOC reporter Cyreia Sandlin provides some crucial details on the seven-year-old’s death that the vast majority of the media have so far ignored:

So it seems that the boy died not "from COVID-19," but rather as the result of a seizure and a fall in the shower.  It seems that, prior to his death, the child had zero Wuhan virus symptoms, and that after he was pronounced dead, "a rapid test showed evidence of COVID-19 positivity."

I don’t know about you, but I’ve followed the news and the science on this virus as closely as most anyone, and I have yet to hear any reports of the Wuhan virus causing seizures.  If this were the case — especially where children are concerned — it is a virtual guarantee that the media would have daily told us so.  It would seem that fair and accurate reporting of this incident would include all of the circumstances surrounding this terrible tragedy and that this is almost certainly another example of someone dying with the Wuhan virus and not from it.

All the media have done here is give us another reason not to trust them in this grave matter.

Antifa Beaten After They Allegedly Went After Man In Wheelchair: ‘You Guys Came To The Wrong City’

Protesters at a pro-police rally in Fort Collins, Colorado, on Saturday reportedly beat several far-left activists after the far-left activists allegedly went after a veteran who was in a wheelchair.

Several dozen pro-police protesters walked alongside the veteran in the wheelchair, who was carrying an American flag, as they seemingly forced the far-left activists out of the neighborhood. Numerous people who were on the pro-police side said that the far-left activists went after the man in the wheelchair and suggested that was what ended up starting the fight.

Several people among the pro-police protesters stated repeatedly throughout the video that there was a kid’s birthday party in the area and suggested that the far-left activists had disturbed the event. At another point in the video, an unidentifiable man said to the far-left activists that “as soon as you guys step away from the f***ing houses, we’re going to leave.”

The man who recorded the video said, “So, we are currently marching the Antifa commie bas****s out of the neighborhood because nobody wants Antifa in the neighborhood. Nobody wants them here, so we’re marching them out.”

“F***ing communist scum,” another man yelled at the far-left activists.

Moments later a fight broke out as the protesters pushed the far-left activists out of the neighborhood which ended up in a ditch with the residents significantly outnumbering the far-left activists.

“You guys came to the wrong the city, boys and girls,” the man who recorded the video said on a bullhorn.

“Everybody keep your hands off your weapons,” another man yelled out. “Keep punching each other in the face, just don’t shoot anybody.”

Several moments later, police sirens appeared in the background as numerous law enforcement officials arrived on the scene. Some of the far-left activists appeared to get into it with the police and were subsequently arrested.

A spokesperson for Fort Collins Police Services said that numerous people had been arrested over “physical disturbances” that occurred.

“We respect everyone’s right to peacefully assemble to voice their concerns,” the spokesperson said. “For the safety of our community, acts of violence, destruction of property, and other unlawful behavior will not be tolerated.”

Photos showed that hundreds of pro-police protesters showed up to the event, many of whom were waving American flags and had Trump signs.

Far-Left Extremists Burn Police Building In Portland, Violently Attack Police Officers

Far-left rioters attacked law enforcement officials in Portland on Saturday night and set an arson fire inside of a police building that they breached.

The group of rioters, estimated by police to have numbered in the hundreds, marched to toward the Portland Police Association (PPA) Office and “illegally block[ed]” traffic along the way.

“People within the crowd committed crimes when they erected a fence, pushed dumpsters into the street to block traffic, set a dumpster on fire, vandalized the PPA office with spray paint, and destroyed security cameras,” the Portland Police Department said in a statement. “At 11:35 p.m., people within the crowd broke the window to the PPA Office, unlawfully entered, and started a fire, committing the crimes of criminal mischief, burglary, and attempted arson.”

Law enforcement officials said that due to the criminal activity of the far-left rioters, they declared a riot and ordered them to disperse immediately.

“Officers from the Oregon State Police and PPB arrived in the area to disperse the crowd. They were met with a hostile crowd who began throwing glass bottles and paint balloons at them,” the statement continued. “The hostile crowd also tried to injure officers by shining green lasers into their eyes, which is a crime in Oregon. Three officers suffered injuries. Two were transported to an area hospital by police vehicle and later released. Personnel from Portland Fire and Rescue were able to gain access to the location and extinguish the fire inside the PPA Office.”

“While officers were moving rioters they came upon areas of the street where rioters built barricades with street closure signs, picnic tables, and other types of material,” the statement added. “Rioters on the other side of the barricade were hurling objects at officers. At that point, officers were able to get around the barricade and continue to push the rioters away from the closure area. About 300 rioters gathered at Kenton Park.”

Journalist Andy Ngo, who recently testified before the U.S. Senate on Antifa, tweeted out videos of the attacks.

“Portland Police declared a riot. Antifa broke inside the union hall and set the inside on fire,” Ngo wrote. “This is the third time they’ve broken into the police union and the second time they set fire inside.”

“Overnight on 8–9 Aug, hundreds of Antifa descended on the @PortlandPolice union building again in north Portland,” Ngo added. “They blocked the road, started street fires & tried to burn down the union hall again. Video from inside shows the arson attack.”

Ngo wrote in another tweet with a video, “Scenes of chaos in north Portland as antifa rioters start fires all over.”

“Antifa rioters have started a street fire in north Portland (far from the federal courthouse),” Ngo wrote. “There are no police outside. The busy street is entirely shut down again.”

“Antifa rioters brawl with Oregon State Police in north Portland,” Ngo added.

Another video showed law enforcement officials pushing the rioters out of the area.

Michigan Mail-In Voting Disaster Casts Even More Doubt on November Election

The presidential election is right around the corner, and many voters from a variety of states are participating in the process of mail-in voting — opposed to in-person voting — to limit the spread of the coronavirus. Mail-in voting may appear to be a safe alternative to voters on the surface, but when considering how…

Florida Nurse Believed To Have Died of COVID Actually Died of Kidney Infection

A Palm Beach County Medical Examiner report reveals that a young nurse who passed away in April died from a kidney infection, not the coronavirus. French Hotel Commandeered to House Asylum Seekers Now Unusable Due to Damage

A hotel in the French commune of Forbach that was used to house asylum seekers has become so damaged that it is no longer usable as a hotel.

The former Ibis Hotel was initially requisitioned by the French government to house asylum seekers and their families in 2017. Only in the last week has the government ended the requisition and made the asylum seekers leave.

The damage to the hotel has been extensive, according to André Heintz, head of the Heintz Real Estate and Hotels Group that owns the property. Mr Heintz said it could cost as much as €1.7 million (£1.54m/$2.01m) to renovate the building, Le Républicain Lorrain reports.

“It is a project that would last 18 to 24 months. In all this, we have been through nothing but suffering. The state commandeered our property when the hotel industry was doing well and returned it to us in the midst of the Covid crisis in a dismal state,” Heintz said.

The residents of the neighbourhood are also reportedly relieved that the asylum seekers are leaving the area. Many reported excessive noise coming from the building and sanitary issues. The building was also infested with cockroaches which affected neighbouring buildings.

“For the past two weeks, we’ve been living in our neighbourhood again,” one local said.

Hotels have often been commissioned by various countries to house asylum seekers in the wake of the 2016 migrant crisis. They are being used today in the UK as the number of migrants arriving across the English Channel has surged in recent weeks.

Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage investigated once such hotel in Bromsgrove in the West Midlands last month. Farage found that not only was the hotel housing 147 migrants but it was refusing to take bookings from UK residents looking to take a holiday in the area.

Ouch! Conservative Economist Teaches CNN’s Harlow Basic Economic Principles

On Friday morning’s CNN Newsroom, co-host Poppy Harlow clashed with former Trump economic advisor Tomas Phillipson on seemingly basic economics. Despite Phillipson being an actual economist and stating that people are not going back to work due to them receiving more from unemployment insurance than their paychecks, Harlow asked; “I wonder what data you’re pointing to other than maybe your own hypothesis that people aren’t going to want to go to work if they’re making more at home?”
As part of CNN’s ongoing attempt to undermine the new job report, Harlow began by downplaying the positive job numbers:

Your — your reaction to the jobs numbers this morning, yes, 1.8 million new jobs added in the month of July. Good to see some addition here. But a huge slowdown from the 4.8 million added the month before and unemployment now still higher than at the peak of — of the great recession.
Incredibly, Phillipson had to teach Harlow about work disincentives:
PHILLIPSON: I think it’s remarkable that we are actually seeing these gains despite these large, you know, enormous disincentives to actually see them.
HARLOW: What disincentives to see the gains?
PHILLIPSON: That we’re actually paying people who work not to work that work. That’s the UI problem. And that’s, I mean, it’s been noted by a lot of people. But people don’t realize, you know, how much of a disincentive that is.
Harlow, an esteemed economist in her own mind, accused Phillipson of using his “own hypothesis” instead of data:
I wonder what data you’re pointing to other than maybe your own hypothesis that people aren’t going to want to go to work if they’re making more at home, which is just not something that I see in the American people.
She also claimed that “most Americans” don’t go to work in order to get paid:
Well, I — I think it’s assuming that people only go to work for a paycheck which is just not the case for most Americans because many people go to work because it gives them a sense of purpose.
Maybe that’s true of rich liberal elites like Harlow who have dream jobs such as being an anchor at an international news network, but it’s common sense that most Americans would rather be elsewhere than their nine to five.
Phillipson started to patiently explain to Harlow that “Part of the reason they go to work is the paycheck certainly,” but she interrupted him to spare herself further embarrassment.
Harlow advocated for extending unemployment insurance, to which Phillip responded with a series of statistics that negated the need for the benefit:
HARLOW: All right, so if you were still in the White House, you were in the oval a lot, you advised the President a lot. If you were there today, Tomas, would you tell them to agree to an extension now of what is expired, which is the extra $600 in cash assistance to unemployed per week? Should they do that?
PHILLIPSON: No, absolutely not. So here’s — here’s a — an important number, which I don’t understand why people haven’t jumped more on it. The Friday report of GDP last week had a very interesting number which people are not talking enough about. It showed that 40 — disposable income went up by 45%. Not because it took a huge dip in Q1. It was actually 3% growth, which is normal growth in Q1. But it went up by 45%. That is telling you that the fiscal overreaction has been quite stark. And I don’t honestly understand when the Democrats say we want to go big. I mean, do they want to double income in a pandemic as opposed to 40 — 45% gain?
Because she was being schooled on basic economic principles, Harlow resorted to woke talking points:
Well, what would you do? You’ve got, you know, 14.6% unemployment for black Americans and a new report out of the Aspen Institute this morning Tomas that says 40 million Americans, 80% of them black and Latino, could be evicted by the end of this year if things don’t change.
Harlow, like all other rich liberal elites, seems to want to keep throwing other people’s money at problems.
This complete lack of economic common sense was paid for by IHOP and Consumer Cellular. Let them know here what you think about them sponsoring this content.

POPPY HARLOW: For more on the state of the U.S. Economy, we’re joined now by Tomas Philipson, former acting chairman of the Economic Council of Advisers and good to have you, Tomas. For people who don’t know, you were — you were in the mix. You were in the middle of this just a few weeks ago. You just left the Trump administration. So your — your perspective is invaluable. Your — your reaction to the jobs numbers this morning, yes, 1.8 million new jobs added in the month of July. Good to see some addition here. But a huge slowdown from the 4.8 million added the month before and unemployment now still higher than at the peak of — of the great recession.
TOMAS PHILLIPSON (FORMER ACTING CHAIRMAN OF THE ECONOMIC COUNCIL OF ADVISORS): Yeah, I think — I mean, there was a obviously higher expectations and you saw the markets react to that. We’re about 40% back from the big losses in March and April right now. But if you think of it, I mean there’s obviously two forces here that are operating as the COVID that generates preventions through lack of economic activity. But the second force is I think fiscal policy where it’s putting — it’s kind of remarkable we’re getting these job gains with the brakes we’re putting on the economy. Imagine if you went into work and the IRS took 100% of your paycheck and also made you pay to get into the building. That’s essentially what two-thirds of the labor force is facing right now with earning less at work than they earn —
HARLOW: Yeah.
PHILLIPSON: — at home. And I think it’s kind of remarkable —
HARLOW: Well —
PHILLIPSON: — I think it’s remarkable that we are actually seeing these gains despite these large, you know, enormous disincentives to actually see them.
HARLOW: What disincentives to see the gains?
PHILLIPSON: That we’re actually paying people who work not to work that work. That’s the UI problem. And that’s, I mean, it’s been noted by a lot of people. But people don’t realize, you know, how much of a disincentive that is.
HARLOW: Yeah except I wonder what — I — just to jump in there, Tomas, I wonder what data you’re pointing to other than maybe your own hypothesis that people aren’t going to want to go to work if they’re making more at home, which is just not something that I see in the American people because I think you’re referring to the University of Chicago study, right, that says 68% of people have been taking home more than at work with that additional $600 a week. But I spoke to the — the author of the study last night. And he told me you cannot extract that. They do not surmise that. They do not say that that is therefore a disincentive for people to go to work. The Yale study says the same and five others.
PHILLIPSON: No I mean, people look at the long term presumably. But it’s on the margin. It’s certainly must be a disincentive to take everyone’s — I mean a 100% tax rate on work is a disincentive. You can’t get around that. But people are potentially looking beyond this and saying if I don’t go to work now, I might not have a job after this. And that might potentially —
HARLOW: Yeah.
PHILLIPSON: — be depriving people.
HARLOW: Well, I — I think it’s assuming that people only go to work for a paycheck which is just not the case for most Americans because many people go to work —
PHILLIPSON: I’m not — I’m not seeing that.
HARLOW: — because it gives them a sense of purpose.
PHILLIPSON: Part of the reason — yeah, part of the reason they go to work is the paycheck certainly. If we didn’t pay them, very few people —
HARLOW: All right, so if you were still in the White House, you were in the oval a lot, you advised the President a lot.
I think that’s been missed and therefore continuing that including the unemployment insurance benefits which again, should not — I mean-  if you want to help people —
HARLOW: All right.
PHILLIPSON: you can help them. You don’t have to tie it to not working.
HARLOW: Well, what would you do? You’ve got, you know, 14.6% unemployment for black Americans and a new report out of the Aspen Institute this morning Tomas that says 40 million Americans, 80% of them black and Latino, could be evicted by the end of this year if things don’t change.
PHILLIPSON: You can help people financially. You just don’t have to tie it with bad incentives of — of having the cash payments is one thing if you want to target those certain people that’s fine. But don’t pay them not to work. That’s what unemployment insurance is implicitly doing —
HARLOW: But what are you — okay.
PHILLIPSON: — and you certainly don’t need to overpay them not to work as opposed to hardly replacing their work income —
HARLOW: Listen to this —
PHILLIPSON: — which is what unemployment insurance would do.
HARLOW: Listen to this from an — another guy who had your job a few years before you, Austan Goolsbee. Here’s what he told me on the show yesterday. He said, look, if the United States can’t get control of this virus until we can we need to spend, quote, unlimited trillions of dollars. I know you don’t like the sound of that. Here’s his argument.
(Cuts to clip)
AUSTAN GOOLSBEE (FORMER OBAMA ADMINISTRATION ECONOMIC ADVISOR): There is one difference between now and the last crisis, which is this isn’t really stimulus. We’re not even yet to the spot where stimulus can work in the sense of government spending to try to get the economy moving again.
(Cuts to live)
HARLOW: Is he wrong?
PHILLIPSON: No. I mean, everyone — everyone agrees that the government was basically reducing economic activity as a prevention for new — we — we de-stimulated the economy to de- stimulate the infection. Everyone agrees on that. Everyone also agrees that we needed liquidity during that period. That doesn’t mean you want to hurt work incentives and that doesn’t mean that you think you can stimulate aggregate consumption or aggregate demand in general which I think D.C. is kind of addicted to that kind of view even though I think many economists don’t believe it.
