Rittenhouse Lawyers Say Video Evidence Proves Kenosha Shootings Were ‘Acts Of Self-Defense’

A couple of days ago, we reported that conservative attorney Lin Wood has taken on the case of Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who has been hit with 6 charges stemming from a Tuesday night bloodbath where he shot three men, killing two, during a night of chaos, anarchy and looting.

As the lawyer goes about shaping and implementing his legal strategy, Wood told reporters that he plans to argue his client acted in self-defense during the fatal shootings.

Wood, who is based in Atlanta but will be arguing the case in Wisconsin, where his client is set to be extradited, told reporters that video footage of the altercation would vindicate Rittenhouse. He also slammed the mainstream media for spreading "misinformation" about his client.

"Kyle Rittenhouse acted in self-defense. Murder charges are factually unsupportable. An egregious miscarriage of justice is occurring with respect to this 17-year old boy," Wood said on Twitter.

An Illinois judge on Friday postponed Rittenhouse’s extradition to Wisconsin so the 17-year-old defendant and his family could arrange for a private legal team. He didn’t appear during Friday’s virtual bond hearing, where it was decided he would be held without bond.

As Reuters pointed out, the criminal complaint filed against Rittenhouse cites as evidence several videos recorded by witnesses, including one where Rittenhouse can be heard calling a friend and telling them "I just killed somebody".

Coincidentally, Rittenhouse spoke to a reporter earlier in the evening and said he was there to help keep the peace, and that he had brought a medical kit, along with his AR-15, just in case.

Wood won notoriety for his work representing Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann in his battle to seek compensation from the mainstream media outlets, including WaPo and CNN, that he argued defamed him.

Though he isn’t a criminal defense lawyer, Wood has helped assemble a pro bono legal defense for Rittenhouse.

Pierce has confirmed to other media outlets that he will be working on Rittenhouse’s defense. He has also represented former Trump campaign aide Carter Page and Rudy Giuliani.

"I and my colleagues at Pierce Bainbridge are representing Kyle Rittenhouse," Pierce said in a statement. "We will obtain justice for Kyle."

Many in the conservative media world have already speculated that Rittenhouse acted in self defense.

Democrats In a Bind – Joe Biden Must Get Out of the Basement But Joe Biden Can’t Leave the Basement

Joe Biden is a gift from God for the Republican Party.  It’s now official that he is the Democrat candidate and he is awful.

President Trump said yesterday in a campaign event in New Hampshire that former Obama Vice President Joe Biden is the worst candidate the Democrats have ever chosen for the Presidency.  Of course, he is right again.

The Democrats looked over their field, they wanted an outsider like Mayor Pete from a small city in the Midwest but he was awful.  They gave him Iowa but that didn’t work.  Crazy Bernie Sanders took over and was again running away with the now socialist-communist Democrat Party.  But the elites running the party couldn’t show the US so blatantly that they are now communists so they de-selected Bernie, like they did in 2016.

The only candidate left for the Democrats was old Sleepy Joe Biden.  The white man who’s been in politics forever with a horrible record of gaffes and no record of accomplishments.  But what else could they do?

Republicans held back and held their breath.  Could they really be going with this senile old man Biden?  Yes, they could.

The Democrats pushed their candidate on a strategy of shutdowns due to the coronavirus which helped justify Sleepy Joe hiding in his basement. They claimed the economic destruction of the China coronavirus is Trump’s fault blaming him for the virus deaths.  And finally, they said they can fix these things and President Trump can’t.

But then came their convention and the Hollywood elites put on a horrible show.  The Democrats paraded celebrities and all who came on stage hated the President and they let people know it.  There was no strategy – hate is not a strategy.

Then came the RNC which was magical. 

Stories of Americans hurt by prior policies and administrations brought tears to your eyes.  A projection of the greatness of America was on display and the many accomplishments of this Administration, some which the average Trump supporter had to look up to verify, were discussed.

Suddenly, reality hit the Democrats.  They know their polls are BS.  The coronavirus is waning.  The economy is on fire with the greatest recovery happening now, in spite of Democrat state efforts to sabotage the recovery.

And suddenly, the Democrats realized the riots they supported and remained silent about were directly pinned on them.  Their silence was admission of guilt.

Now they must get their candidate out of the basement.  But this risks more events like this:

Biden has to get out but he can’t get out.  He can’t debate but he has to debate.  He’s a train wreck.  Everyone knows it.  The Democrats supported criminals and rioters in the streets and Americans are sick of it and the Democrats only solution is Joe Biden.

Time for Democrats to panic.

GOP Official: Republican Convention Rakes In 147.9M Views Across TV/digital – 25M More Than Biden/DNC

The Trump campaign, the Republican National Committee and their joint-fundraising committees raked in $76 million during the 2020 Republican National Convention this week, Fox News has learned.

A senior Trump campaign official told Fox News that the campaign, the RNC, and Trump Victory and Trump MAGAC (Make America Great Again Committee) raised $76 million between the kick-off to the convention Monday and President Trump’s formal nomination acceptance Thursday night.

The Trump campaign’s efforts exceeded those of the Biden campaign.

Last week, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s campaign announced that it, the Democratic National Committee, and their joint fundraising committees brought in $70 million in fundraising during the 4-day Democratic convention. The Biden campaign held numerous grassroots and high-dollar fundraising events throughout the week.

Meanwhile, the Republican National Convention brought in 147.9 million total views across television and online between Monday and the end of Thursday night’s programming, according to a senior campaign official.

The DNC convention, as Fox News previously reported, had 122 million total viewers through television and online.

WALSH: Before You Honor Jacob Blake As A Martyr, Read The Criminal Complaint Against Him

The reporting on Jacob Blake has sometimes mentioned in passing that there was a warrant for Blake’s arrest stemming from a domestic violence incident. The actual crime that Blake is accused of committing isn’t often described in any detail, despite the fact that the alleged crime may be relevant to the shooting on Sunday. It potentially speaks to Blake’s state of mind, his character, and his propensity for violence, and it explains why the cops were called in the first place.

According to the criminal complaint, which can be found here, Blake’s ex-girlfriend says that he entered her house uninvited early in the morning on Sunday, May 3, 2020. She reports that she woke to find him in her room, standing over her. What happened next, by the woman’s account, is downright chilling:

LNB stated at about 6AM she was woken up by the father of her children, Jacob Blake, herein known as the defendant, standing over her saying, “I want my shit.” As LNB lay there, on her back, the defendant, suddenly and without warning, reached his hand between her legs, penetrated her vaginally with a finger, pull it out and sniffed it, and said, “Smells like you’ve been with other men.”

The complaint says that Blake, after allegedly committing this violent and degrading act against the victim, immediately left the room, took her key and her debit card, and drove away in her vehicle. She says he made two withdrawals with the stolen card. The complaint then provides some background insight into the relationship between the victim and Blake:

LNB stated she and the defendant have three children together but have never resided together in the eight years they have been on and off. LNB stated the defendant is unemployed, has no vehicle, and would not tell LNB where he was currently living. LNB stated over the past eight years the defendant has physically assaulted her around twice a year when he drinks heavily.

As a result of this complaint, Blake was charged on July 6 with felony third-degree sexual assault, misdemeanor trespassing and disorderly conduct connected to domestic abuse.

If these accusations are true, then Blake is a serial abuser and a violent man who tried to control women through violence and fear. Does the fact that he is possibly a dirtbag mean that police could randomly pull up and shoot him in the back? No, of course not. Which is why it is good that they did not randomly pull up and shoot him in the back.

They came because his ex-girlfriend called 911. She reported that Blake wasn’t supposed to be there and had taken her keys. Now we potentially understand the context of why he was not supposed to be there, and why she said she was afraid of him, and what he may have been planning to do with her keys. When officers attempted to arrest the fugitive, he allegedly fought back, though his lawyer disputes the claim. At some point he appears to have either grabbed a knife or potentially reached for one in the car.

It is possible that some additional detail will rise to the surface which implicates the officer in an unlawful shooting. But everything we have seen so far seems to paint a picture that puts the blame on the shoulders of Jacob Blake. And it also raises questions about why businesses like the NBA and the NFL have come out so firmly in support of a man who is accused of committing such horrible crimes against a woman. These organizations in particular have a long and sordid history of supporting, and covering for, abusive men. And it appears they may be doing it again.

Minnesota Democrat Mayors Endorse Donald Trump: Biden Did ‘Nothing’ for Working Class


DULUTH, Minnesota — Six Democrat Minnesota mayors endorsed President Donald Trump over former Vice President Joe Biden on Friday, asserting that Trump has improved the lives of Minnesotans, while Biden has moved too far to the left.

At a campaign rally for Trump’s reelection, Minnesota Iron Range mayors — Virginia Mayor Larry Cuffe, Chisholm Mayor John Champa, Ely Mayor Chuck Novak, Two Harbors Mayor Chris Swanson, Eveleth Mayor Robert Vlaisavljevich, and Babbitt Mayor Andrea Zupancich — endorsed Trump and Vice President Mike Pence for a second term in office.

The Democrat mayors charged that Minnesota had remained a Democrat stronghold for decades; however, they noted that Biden had done “nothing” for the working class as jobs left the Iron Range. The Minnesota Democrat mayors wrote:

Like many in our region, we have voted for Democrats over many decades. We have watched as our constituents’ jobs left not only the Iron Range, but our country. By putting tariffs on our products and supporting bad trade deals, politicians like Joe Biden did nothing to help the working class. We lost thousands of jobs, and generations of young people have left the Iron Range in order to provide for their families with good paying jobs elsewhere. Today, we don’t recognize the Democratic Party. It has been moved so far to the left it can no longer claim to be advocates of the working class. The hard-working Minnesotans that built their lives and supported their families here on the Range have been abandoned by radical Democrats. We didn’t choose to leave the Democratic Party, the party left us.

In contrast, they wrote that the Trump-Pence administration has cut taxes and pursued other policies that have brought the Iron Range “roaring back to life.”

“Lifelong politicians like Joe Biden are out of touch with the working class, out of touch with what the country needs, and out of touch with those of us here on the Iron Range and in small towns like ours across our nation,” they added.

Pence said at the campaign event that as mining was shut down in the Iron Range, Biden told miners to “learn to code.”

Pence added that Trump “always stands up for the Iron Range.”

Arrests Made After ‘Suspicious Vehicles With Out-Of-State Plates’ Stopped In Kenosha

Police in Kenosha, Wisconsin arrested nine individuals on Wednesday evening on charges of disorderly conduct after stopping several ‘suspicious vehicles with out-of-state plates’ and suspecting the occupants of "preparing for criminal activity related to the civil unrest," according to Fox29 Philadelphia.

Several other charges are pending, according to the Kenosha County DA.

The suspects were driving three vehicles; a black school bus, a bread truck and a tan minivan.

Police said this began with a citizen tip that the vehicles planned to meet in a remote lot near State Highway 50 and Green Bay Road,

Officers began surveilling the vehicles after locating them, assisted by U.S. Marshals — and confirmed the out-of-state plates.

Police said officers followed them to a gas station near Washington Road and 30th Avenue, where officers observed the occupants of the bus and bread truck exit and attempt to fill multiple fuel cans. –Fox29

Understandably, officers then suspected "that the occupants of these vehicles were preparing for criminal activity related to the civil unrest," after which they attempted to make contact and investigate the incident.

The police noted that "the officers exited their vehicles, identified themselves, were wearing appropriate identification and then detained the occupants of the bus and bread truck."

As officers closed in, the driver of the minivan attempted to pull away, but was stopped by police who forced an entry into the vehicle and arrested the occupants.

The vehicles contained helmets, gas masks, protective vests, illegal fireworks and suspected controlled substances, according to the report.
