Twitter Suspends Account Of Chinese Scientist Who Published Paper Alleging Covid Was Created In Wuhan Lab

On Sunday afternoon we asked how long before the twitter account of the "rogue" Chinese virologist, Dr. Li-Meng Yan, who yesterday "shocked" the world of establishment scientists and other China sycophants, by publishing a "smoking gun" scientific paper demonstrating that the Covid-19 virus was manmade, is "silenced."

We now have the answer: less than two days. A cursory check of Dr Yan’s twitter page reveals that the account has been suspended as of this moment.

The suspension took place shortly after Dr Yan had accumulated roughly 60,000 followers in less than 48 hours. The snapshot below was taken earlier in the day precisely in anticipation of this suspension.

It was not immediately clear what justification Twitter had to suspend the scientist who, to the best of our knowledge, had just 4 tweets as of Tuesday morning none of which violated any stated Twitter policies, with the only relevant tweet being a link to her scientific paper co-written with three other Chinese scientists titled "Unusual Features of the SARS-CoV-2 Genome Suggesting Sophisticated Laboratory Modification Rather Than Natural Evolution and Delineation of Its Probable Synthetic Route" which laid out why the Wuhan Institute of Virology had created the covid-19 virus.

While we appreciate that Twitter may have experienced pressure from either China, or the established scientist community, to silence Dr Yan for proposing a theory that flies in the face of everything that has been accepted as undisputed gospel – after all Twitter did just that to us – we are confident that by suspending her account, Jack Dorsey has only added more fuel to the fire of speculations that the covid virus was indeed manmade (not to mention countless other tangential conspiracy theories).

If Yan was wrong, why not just let other scientists respond in the open to the all too valid arguments presented in Dr. Yan’s paper? Isn’t that what "science" is all about? Why just shut her up?

Because if we have already crossed the tipping point when anyone who proposes an "inconvenient" explanation for an established "truth" has to be immediately censored, then there is little that can be done to salvage the disintegration of a society that once held freedom of speech as paramount.

We hope Twitter will provide a very reasonable and sensible explanation for this unprecedented censorship.

Pennsylvania Sheriff Switches to GOP: ‘The Democratic Party Has Left Me’


A Southwest Pennsylvania sheriff has deflected to the Republican Party from the Democrats, saying he feels out of place in his former party.

“It was a really difficult decision and I’ve thought long and hard about it, but I feel I stand for the ideals of the Republican Party platform more than the Democrats today,” Westmoreland County Sheriff James Albert stated, according to The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

“I’ve been a lifelong Democrat, but a conservative Democrat at that,” he added. “I’m pro-life, a strong supporter of the Second Amendment, a lifetime member of the NRA (National Rifle Association) and, today, I feel my ideals are closer to the Republican Party than Democrats.”

Albert, who was elected sheriff last year, switched over to the Republican Party on Monday.

Albert told the newspaper that he’s watched the ongoing riots and civil unrest with growing concern.

“I was saddened and enraged by the murder of David Dorn, a 77-year-old African American retired police captain, who was shot by a pawn shop looter during a protest in St. Louis,” the law enforcement official explained. “These outrageous, lawless acts have been met with silence, acquiescence and, in some instances, outright support from the local, state and national leadership of the Democratic Party.”

“As a lifelong public servant and member of law enforcement, I have not left the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party has left me,” he added.

Albert is the second sheriff to defect to the GOP from the Democrat Party in recent weeks.

Earlier this month, Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Wedding announced that he had changed his party affiliation in Evansville, Indiana.

“Watching the daily burning of American flags, failing to be able to use the word “God” in any sentence at most Democrat-led functions, denouncing law enforcement as if we’re the evil people. I am very proud of my profession in law enforcement and when people attack us, it’s pretty insulting,” said Wedding.

DHS Cracks Down on Goods Made with Chinese Forced Labor

The Department of Homeland Security announced new restrictions on products made with Chinese forced labor in a press release on Monday.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP)—a law enforcement wing of DHS—introduced five orders blocking goods made in Uighur detention and labor camps. The orders target Chinese companies with a large presence in the Xinjiang province of China, where it is estimated that over a million Uighur Muslims are detained.

"By taking this action, DHS is combating illegal and inhumane forced labor, a type of modern slavery, used to make goods that the Chinese government then tries to import into the United States," acting DHS deputy secretary Ken Cuccinelli said. "When China attempts to import these goods into our supply chains, it also disadvantages American workers and businesses." 

"President Trump and this Department have, and always will, put American workers and businesses first and protect American citizens from participating in these egregious human rights violations," Cuccinelli added.

"The Trump Administration will not stand idly by and allow foreign companies to subject vulnerable workers to forced labor while harming American businesses that respect human rights and the rule of law," acting CBP commissioner Mark A. Morgan said. "Today’s Withhold Release Orders send a clear message to the international community that we will not tolerate the illicit, inhumane, and exploitative practices of forced labor in U.S. supply chains."

American lawmakers are considering ways to combat China’s agenda of economic warfare and the regime’s ties to American institutions such as universities and Hollywood. On Monday, Sen. Tom Cotton (R., Ark.) announced his intent to end "most-favored nation" status for Beijing. 

Last week, Keith Krach, the undersecretary of state for economic growth, energy, and the environment, told the Washington Free Beacon about the expansion of "clean" networks, which rid American technology, infrastructure, supply chains, and research of pernicious Chinese influence.
