State-By-State Breakdown Of 897 US Hospitals At Risk Of Closing

State-By-State Breakdown Of 897 US Hospitals At Risk Of Closing

By Alya Elison of Becker Hospital Review

More than 500 rural hospitals in the U.S. were at immediate risk of closure before the COVID-19 pandemic because of financial losses and lack of reserves to maintain operations, according to a report from the Center for Healthcare Quality and Payment Reform.

Nearly every state had at least one rural hospital at immediate risk of closure before the pandemic. In 22 states, 25 percent or more of rural hospitals were at immediate risk, according to the report.

The hospitals identified as being at immediate risk of closure had a cumulative negative total margin over the most recent three-year period, and their financial situation has likely deteriorated because of the pandemic.

Across the U.S., more than 800 hospitals – 40 percent of all rural hospitals in the country – are either at immediate or high risk of closure. The more than 300 hospitals at high risk closure either have low financial reserves or high dependence on nonpatient service revenues such as local taxes or state subsidies, according to the report.

Beijing Biden Ends President Trump’s Policy of Reducing Medical Costs on Insulin and EpiPens to Please Big Pharma

Why would any American-loving politician increase the costs of insulin and epipens on American citizens?

100% Fed Up reports:

After decades of politicians saying they would reduce medical costs, none of them ever did.  None of them, that is, until President Donald Trump who signed into law orders near the end of his first term to lower prescription drug costs and costs of procedures.

The Trump policy lowered the costs of Insulin and EpiPens and insulin by requiring community health centers to pass on all their insulin and epinephrine discount savings to patients.

The only reason for doing this is to assist Big Pharma with its profits:

Biden is in the pocket of globalist big business, including Big Pharma as well as China. Big Pharma gets almost 100% of their prescriptions from China, which Trump sees as a huge threat to our nation. He is right, since China could (and did during Covid) shut us off from vital medical supplies on a whim. America would be unable to support itself during a real pandemic disaster if China decided to behave this way, again, because we no longer have multiple sources for so many medical products.

President Trump was the first president to actually understand Big Pharma and produce some kind of actions that lowered costs, simplified, and made transparent payment structures for Americans.

Another pundit discussed Biden’s latest insane moves, including increasing insulin costs for diabetics:

No politician that loves America would increase the costs on insulin to Americans.

Microsoft Halts Donations To Politicians Who Objected To Election Certification…

Another great reason to use linux.

Via Neowin:

In an employee meeting on January 21, Microsoft president Brad Smith highlighted that although 80% of the donations had gone to members of Congress who voted to uphold the Electoral College, 20% of its PAC donations in the last four years went to Congress members who voted against the certification of Electoral College votes.

Consequently, there have been some internal discussions at Microsoft as to whether it should pause PAC donations to these Congress members and take stricter action against “members who led that effort or who fed disinformation, in our view, to the American public”. Now, the firm has confirmed that it is suspending PAC donations until at least February 15, saying that:

President Trump Is Drafting ‘Enemies List’ of Dirtbag Republicans to Primary — Is Moving Forward with Plans to Create “Patriot Party” for the People

President Trump is reportedly drafting a list of dirtbag Republicans to primary in the coming elections.

Failed Leadership
VP Mike Pence betrayed President Trump and the nation when he refused to look at credible and serious election fraud allegations in the battleground states. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy both came out this past week and blamed President Trump for the riots at the US Capitol.

President Trump is also looking at starting a pro-American “Patriot Party” to represent the people and take on the corrupt Republican and Democrat machines.

The Daily Mail insists Trump is making the move to protect him during impeachment. This is doubtful. If Republicans vote to impeach President Trump based on media lies there will be no Republican Party left.

Then again, the GOP is that arrogant and stupid.

Via The Palmieri Report and The Daily Mail:

Donald Trump is reportedly moving forward with his plans to create a ‘Patriot Party’ to put pressure on Republicans who oppose him and attempt to head off conviction in his second Senate impeachment trial.

Trump has told people that the third-party threat gives him leverage to prevent Republican senators from voting to convict him during the Senate trial next month, people in his orbit told the Washington Post.

Since President Joe Biden took office, Trump has been ensconced at Mar-a-Lago, remaining publicly cryptic about his plans except to tell a reporter on Friday: ‘We’ll do something, but not just yet.’

But behind closed doors, Trump is already drafting an enemies list of Republicans who opposed his baseless claims of election fraud, instructing aids to prepare primary challenges against them, sources told the Post.

Missouri Gun Shop Announces They ‘Don’t Have Guns or Ammo for Biden Supporters’

Trigger Firearms and Reloading LLC in Jefferson City, Missouri, has announced that they do not have guns or ammunition available for Joe Biden supporters.

The gun shop made the hilarious announcement in a Facebook post, which triggered quite a bit of outrage from the left.

“We don’t have guns or ammo for Biden Supporters. Sorry for the inconvenience,” the shop wrote.

The comment section promptly became a goldmine of hilarity.

“Good to know, I’ll take my money somewhere else!” a woman named Shawna Martin replied.

“Take your money to a liberal state, and stay there, please,” a man named David Ortiz fired back.

“Private company so they can do what they want. Checkmate liberals,” a customer named Terry Plotner wrote.

Another supporter named Tommy Young joked, “bad news. You’ve lost the business of people that live in California and Michigan. How will you ever survive?”

Meanwhile, people in the red area that the gun shop is located in vowed their undying support.

The shop also recently received more inventory on hard to find ammo such as 9mm.

Native America tribe torches Biden admin over oil, drilling order: ‘A direct attack on our economy, sovereignty’

A federally recognized Native American tribe is demanding President Joe Biden’s administration immediately rescind or amend a new policy that temporarily suspends new oil and natural gas leases and drilling permits on federal land.

What are the details?

The Ute Indian Tribe of the Uintah and Ouray Reservation, which is located in Utah, blasted acting U.S. Interior Secretary Scott de la Vega for issuing the two-month moratorium, claiming the order violates the tribe’s sovereignty.

The Biden administration’s action is particularly personal for the Ute Indian Tribe because they produce a significant amount of oil.

From Reuters:

The tribe produces about 45,000 barrels of crude oil per day in the Uintah basin, along with about 900 million cubic feet per day of natural gas, according to a document it filed with the Bureau of Indian Affairs in 2017.

"The Ute Indian Tribe of the Uintah and Ouray Reservation respectfully requests that you immediately amend Order No. 3395 to provide an exception for energy permits and approvals on Indian lands. The Ute Indian Tribe and other energy producing tribes rely on energy development to fund our governments and provide services to our members," Luke Duncan, chairman of the Ute Indian Tribe Business Committee in Utah, wrote in a letter to de la Vega.

The letter continued, "Your order is a direct attack on our economy, sovereignty, and our right to self-determination. Indian lands are not federal public lands. Any action on our lands and interests can only be taken after effective tribal consultation."

"Order No. 3395 violates the United States treaty and trust responsibilities to the Ute Indian Tribe and violates important principles of tribal sovereignty and self-determination. Your order was also issued in violation (of) our government-to-government relationship. Executive Order No. 13175 on Consultation and Coordination with Indian Tribal Governments, and Interior’s own Policy on Consultation with Tribal Governments," the letter added.

"The order must be withdrawn or amended to comply with Federal law and policies. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. We look forward from hearing from you," Duncan concluded.

The Interior Department defended the order, explaining on Thursday that it "does not impact existing ongoing operations under valid leases."

Anything else?

The Biden administration’s order reflects Biden’s priority on enacting a progressive climate agenda.

In fact, Biden’s climate plan includes prioritizing "environmental justice." Biden’s website also declares that the far-left Green New Deal "is a crucial framework for meeting the climate challenges we face."

On his first day in office, Biden signed an executive order rejoining the Paris climate agreement and another order canceling the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline.

Tulsi Gabbard: Domestic-Terrorism Bill Is “A Targeting Of Almost Half Of The Country”

Tulsi Gabbard: Domestic-Terrorism Bill Is "A Targeting Of Almost Half Of The Country"

Authored by Brittany Bernstein via NationalReview.com,

Tulsi Gabbard, the former Democratic representative from Hawaii, on Friday expressed concern that a proposed measure to combat domestic terrorism could be used to undermine civil liberties.

Gabbard’s comments came during an appearance on Fox News Primetime when host Brian Kilmeade asked her if she was “surprised they’re pushing forward with this extra surveillance on would-be domestic terror.”

“It’s so dangerous as you guys have been talking about, this is an issue that all Democrats, Republicans, independents, Libertarians should be extremely concerned about, especially because we don’t have to guess about where this goes or how this ends,” Gabbard said.

She continued:

“When you have people like former CIA Director John Brennan openly talking about how he’s spoken with or heard from appointees and nominees in the Biden administration who are already starting to look across our country for these types of movements similar to the insurgencies they’ve seen overseas, that in his words, he says make up this unholy alliance of religious extremists, racists, bigots, he lists a few others and at the end, even libertarians.”

She said her concern lies in how officials will define the characteristics they are searching for in potential threats.

“What characteristics are we looking for as we are building this profile of a potential extremist, what are we talking about? Religious extremists, are we talking about Christians, evangelical Christians, what is a religious extremist? Is it somebody who is pro-life? Where do you take this?” Gabbard said.

She said the proposed legislation could create “a very dangerous undermining of our civil liberties, our freedoms in our Constitution, and a targeting of almost half of the country.”

“You start looking at obviously, have to be a white person, obviously likely male, libertarians, anyone who loves freedom, liberty, maybe has an American flag outside their house, or people who, you know, attended a Trump rally,” Gabbard said.

The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2021 was introduced in the House earlier this week in the aftermath of rioting at the U.S. Capitol earlier this month that left five dead.

“Unlike after 9/11, the threat that reared its ugly head on January 6th is from domestic terror groups and extremists, often racially-motivated violent individuals,” Representative Brad Schneider (D., Ill.) said in a statement announcing the bipartisan legislation.

“America must be vigilant to combat those radicalized to violence, and the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act gives our government the tools to identify, monitor and thwart their illegal activities. Combatting the threat of domestic terrorism and white supremacy is not a Democratic or Republican issue, not left versus right or urban versus rural. Domestic Terrorism is an American issue, a serious threat the we can and must address together,” he said.
