President Trump delivers farewell address: ‘I fought for America and all it stands for’

President Donald Trump issued a farewell address to Americans on Tuesday, where he celebrated the successes of his administration and expressed optimism for the nation’s future.

What did the president say?

The president began by thanking his family, along with Vice President Mike Pence and the entire Pence family, as well as law enforcement and the U.S. military before extending his gratitude to the American people for what he referred to as the "privilege" of serving as commander in chief.

Reflecting back on when he first took office, the president said:

"Four years ago I came to Washington as the only true outsider ever to win the presidency. I had not spent my career as a politician, but as a builder looking at open skylines and imagining infinite possibilities. I ran for president because I knew there were towering new summits for America, just waiting to be scaled. I knew the potential for our nation was boundless as long as we put America first.

America had given me so much, and I wanted to give something back. Together with millions of hardworking patriots across this land, we built the greatest political movement in the history of our country. We also built the greatest economy in the history of the world."

Trump listed a number of his administration’s successes, including energy independence, a number of Middle East peace deals, the creation of the U.S. Space Force, pre-pandemic record-low unemployment for African Americans, criminal justice reform, and the rapid development of two successful coronavirus vaccines under Operation Warp Speed.

Pointing to his achievements in increasing border security, the president declared, "We restored American strength at home, and American leadership abroad. The world respects us again — please don’t lose that respect."

The president also expressed his pride in being "the first president in decades" who did not start any new wars.

"I did not seek the path that would get the least criticism," Trump said. "I took on the tough battles, the hardest fights, the most difficult choices, because that’s what you elected me to do."

Trump told the American people, "I fought for you, I fought for your family, I fought for our country. Above all, I fought for America and all it stands for, and that is: safe, strong, proud and free."

How did Trump’s speech end?

President Trump concluded:

Now, as I prepare to hand power over to a new administration at noon on Wednesday, I want you to know that the movement we started is only just beginning. There’s never been anything like it. The belief that a nation must serve its citizens will not dwindle but instead only grow stronger by the day. As long as the American people hold in their hearts deep and devoted love of country, then there is nothing this nation cannot achieve. Our communities will flourish, our people will be prosperous, our traditions will be cherished, our faith will be strong, and our future will be brighter than ever before.

I go from this majestic place with a loyal and joyful heart, an optimistic spirit, and a supreme confidence that for our country and for our children, the best is yet to come.

Trump Talks To Allies About Starting His Own Political Party

President Donald Trump has reportedly spoken to some of his associates in recent days about forming his own political party, although the idea is considered unlikely even if he is being serious. “Trump discussed the matter with several aides and other people close to him last week, the people said,” The Wall Street Journal reported. PHOTOS: Feds Build Walls in D.C. for Anti-Border Wall Joe Biden, Kamala Harris

The federal government has constructed security walls and fencing across Washington, DC, in anticipation of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris’s inauguration on January 20, even as both are opposed to such barriers at the nation’s international borders.

Following riots at the United States Capitol on January 6, the federal government has ordered 25,000 National Guardsmen to Washington, DC, and the construction of barriers around the nation’s historic landmarks to protect from potential unrest.

In photos, crews can be seen erecting barriers with razor wire around the U.S. Capitol. Likewise, similar barriers have been placed along streets in Washington, DC, and around the reflecting pool which sits in between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument.

While the barriers will be in place through next week’s inauguration, Biden has promised to stop all construction of wall at the U.S.-Mexico border and has claimed that such barriers do not reduce illegal crossings, though federal data indicates otherwise.

In his call to end President Trump’s national emergency at the southern border, Biden claims that “building a wall will do little to deter criminals and cartels seeking to exploit our borders.”

Similarly, Harris has criticized wall construction at the U.S.-Mexico border as well. Specifically, in 2019, Harris blasted the Trump administration for stationing American troops at the border and for using concertina wire along barriers to help deter illegal crossings. These are the same two tactics now being used in Washington, DC, to protect the Biden-Harris inauguration.

GOP Rep. DesJarlais: ‘Insurrection’ Hypocrisy an Effort to Put a ‘Stain’ on All the Great Things Trump Did as President

Representative Scott DesJarlais (R-TN) warns that there could be an ulterior motive behind the media and Democrats’ push to play up last week’s incident at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.

During an appearance on FM Talk 106.5 in Mobile, AL, he acknowledged that President Donald Trump’s response could have been much better. However, the Tennessee Republican lawmaker also argued the way the media are playing the incident is part of an effort to tarnish his legacy.

“[Y]ou don’t have to like Donald Trump — and I personally thought he could have been quicker on the trigger to get on TV and denounce it as soon as it began to happen,” DesJarlais said. “So I wasn’t thrilled about that — but I don’t lose sight of all the great things he did over four years as president, and they’re just trying, in my opinion, to put a stain on everything he did and who he was by this thing.”

“The hypocrisy and double standards of the riots that occurred all summer long — the rioting, the looting, the deaths that occurred all summer that were rarely or barely denounced by the left — all of a sudden, this was the end-all and be-all of riots,” he continued. “They talk about five, now six people have died during this violent mob. Well, we know one woman, unfortunately, was shot. That’s still under investigation. Three people died from medical emergencies, very unspecified — people that had a heart attack that could have had it in Texas or in Washington, but they didn’t necessarily die due to an angry mob. We know there were 40,000 Trump supporters there, and if history shows you, I’ve been to Trump rallies. They’re peaceful, patriotic people who wanted their voices heard. This wasn’t 40,000 Trump supporters storming the Capitol. There was a couple of hundred lunatics, very misguided, that did this. So, everything about it is an exaggeration, and so the hypocrisy of their riots versus this insurrection is talked about completely differently on the news.”

President Trump Please CREATE AN EXECUTIVE ORDER and Have the Ballots and Images from the 2020 Election Audited in Swing States Using the Jovan Hutton Pulitzer Method

President Trump PLEASE CREATE AN EXECUTIVE ORDER and Have 2020 Ballots and Images Audited in Select States Using Jovan Pulitzer Method

We’ve requested this before.  Mr. President please create an Executive Order and have all the ballots and images of ballots audited forensically in the swing states so all Americans can see the audited results of the 2020 election.

THE MAN WHO WILL SAVE AMERICA… “This Isn’t the Beating of a Drum, This Is the Burning of a City!” – Inventor Jovan Pulitzer DESTROYS Georgia’s Corrupted 2020 Election Results

Pulitzer offered to help Georgia audit their results using his technique of identifying fraudulent paper ballots and said he would do it for free.

Pulitzer has shared:

He can look at 500,000 ballots in a couple hours.

The people of the state of Georgia trusted the state to ensure the election was valid and fraud free.

The current election results are flawed: “This isn’t the beating of a drum this is the burning of a city.

Our country was founded on a piece of paper! Pulitzer can look at the paper and determine almost immediately if a ballot is fraudulent or not.

Pulitzer offered to perform an audit of ballots for free for the state of Georgia.  The Georgia Senate voted to allow Pulitzer to audit the absentee ballots in Fulton County.  We are not sure where this stands currently nor why it’s not made public.

Please President Trump create an Executive Order that will mandate Pulitzer audit the results in Georgia and the other swing states now!

Leaked video: Jack Dorsey says Twitter’s ban of Trump is ‘bigger than one account’ and will ‘go on beyond inauguration’

A leaked video shows Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s plans for "broader" enforcement on the social media platform that will go far beyond the banning of President Donald Trump.

Project Veritas released a new video Thursday of Dorsey declaring that upcoming actions are "going to be much bigger than just one account," and would "go on beyond the inauguration."

The undercover video was allegedly secretly recorded by a "Twitter insider" during an internal meeting with employees of the social media company.

"We know we are focused on one account right now, but this is going to be much bigger than just one account, and it’s going to go on for much longer than just this day, this week, and the next few weeks, and go on beyond the inauguration," Dorsey said in the leaked footage.

"So, the focus is certainly on this account and how it ties to real-world violence," Dorsey said in the video call. "But also, we need to think much longer-term around how these dynamics play out over time. I don’t believe this is going away anytime soon."

"You should always feel free to express yourself in whatever format manifestation feels right," Dorsey said in the clip.

Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe tweeted out the video on Thursday with the caption: "BREAKING: @Twitter Insider Secretly Records CEO @jack Detailing Agenda For Further Political Censorship."

Dorsey addressed Twitter’s recent purge of QAnon-related accounts, "And the moves that we’re making today around QAnon, for instance, one such example of a much broader approach that we should be looking at and going deeper on."

On Tuesday, Twitter announced that it had suspended "more than 70,000 accounts" since the violence at the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6.

"We’ve been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behavior that has the potential to lead to offline harm," Twitter said in a statement. "Given the violent events in Washington, DC, and increased risk of harm, we began permanently suspending thousands of accounts that were primarily dedicated to sharing QAnon content on Friday afternoon."

A Twitter spokesperson responded to the Project Veritas video and told Fox News, "The remarks shown in the video were delivered to our more than 5,400 employees and are nearly the same words Jack shared in a recent Tweet Thread offering context around and reflections on our work to protect the conversation in recent weeks."

Twitter permanently banned President Trump from the social media platform on Jan. 8. Twitter’s "safety" account said the company banned Trump "due to the risk of further incitement of violence" following the Capitol riots.

On Wednesday, Dorsey issued a statement on the banning of President Trump.

I do not celebrate or feel pride in our having to ban @realDonaldTrump from Twitter, or how we got here. After a clear warning we’d take this action, we made a decision with the best information we had based on threats to physical safety both on and off Twitter. Was this correct? I believe this was the right decision for Twitter.

Since the Capitol chaos, President Trump’s accounts and Trump-related accounts have been deplatformed or censored on numerous social media networks, including Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, Apple, Paypal, Discord, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Shopify.

Project Veritas, an investigative group that aims to "expose misconduct in both public and private institutions," has made headlines this week. The group released a secretly recorded video of former PBS principal counsel Michael Beller saying the government should take away children of Trump voters and put them in "reeducation camps." Beller was fired by PBS after the video went viral.

On Wednesday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced that a woman was arrested on felony charges of election fraud, illegal voting, unlawfully assisting people voting by mail, and unlawfully possessing an official ballot. The suspect, Rachel Rodriguez, was reportedly first exposed last fall in a Project Veritas video.
