Texas woman arrested on election fraud charges after getting caught on Project Veritas video, officials say

A Texas woman has been arrested on felony charges of election fraud, illegal voting, unlawfully assisting people voting by mail, and unlawfully possessing an official ballot, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced Wednesday.

And Paxton said the suspect got caught on a Project Veritas video in the midst of "shocking and blatantly illegal action."

"Many continue to claim that there’s no such thing as election fraud," the attorney general added. "We’ve always known that such a claim is false and misleading, and today we have additional hard evidence."

What are the details?

Paxton’s office said Rachel Rodriguez was exposed in a Project Veritas video last fall while engaging in vote harvesting leading up to the 2020 election, adding that his office’s Election Fraud Division reviewed dozens of hours of unedited, raw footage, which led to her arrest.

At one point, Rodriguez was caught acknowledging that her actions were illegal and that she could go to jail for it, Paxton’s office said.

If convicted, Rodriguez could face up to 20 years in prison, his office added.

KSAT-TV reported that while the release from Paxton’s office spelled Rodriguez’s first name "Rachel," public records repeatedly spell it "Raquel."

The station added that in the Project Veritas video Rodriguez appears to show an older woman how to change her vote on a mail-in ballot, and she also described various types of small gifts she gets for voters she comes into contact with.

Police on Wednesday told KSAT that Rodriguez was arrested on San Antonio’s east side and that the attorney general’s office asked for assistance transporting her. Rodriguez was still in the process of being taken to jail just before noon Wednesday, the station added. Her arrest occurred Wednesday morning, the AG’s office told KSAT.

"This is a victory for election integrity and a strong signal that anyone who attempts to defraud the people of Texas, deprive them of their vote, or undermine the integrity of elections will be brought to justice," Paxton added.

His office also said that individuals involved in or with knowledge of "this organized vote harvesting scheme are encouraged to come forward and cooperate with the Office of the Attorney General."

Twitter Claims ‘Error’ in Blacklisting Students for Trump


Twitter claims that it has made an “error” in blacklisting the Students for Trump Twitter account on Wednesday. The suspension of the Pro-Trump student group has been reversed.

“We use a combination of technology and human review to surface harmful content proactively on the service,” said a Twitter spokesperson in a statement to the Washington Times.

“In this case, the account you referenced was flagged by our automated systems in error,” the spokesperson added. “This has been reversed, and access to the account has been reinstated.”

On Wednesday, Students for Trump co-chair Ryan Fournier announced that the Students for Trump Twitter account had been locked until Inauguration Day without explanation.

“Unbelievable. We are locked out of the Students for Trump account until after Inauguration Day,” tweeted Fournier. “No violations. No warnings. Nothing.”

Last week, Twitter permanently banned President Donald Trump, claiming that his tweets have incited violence on Capitol Hill.

Following Trump’s ban, several prominent conservative Twitter accounts have reported losing tens of thousands of followers on the platform. Twitter has since banned more than 70,000 accounts it claims are linked to the QAnon movement.

Twitter has also permanently suspended accounts for former national security adviser Micahel Flynn, pro-Trump lawyer Sidney Powell, and former administrator of the message board 8kun Ron Watkins.

While some accounts have been banned, other conservatives have taken it upon themselves to leave the platform, willingly.

Last week, nationally syndicated radio host Rush Limbaugh deactivated his Twitter account after the social media platform permanently banned President Trump’s account.

Since then, other prominent conservatives. such as Greg Gutfeld, Mark Levin, and Lou Dobbs, have joined Limbaugh in leaving the platform, urging their followers to join them on the social media platform Parler, an alternative to Twitter.

While conservatives flocked to Parler, Google and Apple both banned Parler from their app stores — effectively excluded the app from Android and iPhone smartphones.

Following that motion by the two tech giants, Amazon booted Parler off its web hosting service, knocking the platform offline until it can find a new host.

Google, Apple, and Amazon all justify their decision to ban Parler by claiming that words will “incite violence” — a narrative that big tech companies are now using to take action against the president, political dissenters, and their competition.

Lauren Boebert Calls Out Democrats for Supporting Political Violence: ‘I Call Bullcrap’


Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) took to the House floor Wednesday, where she called out Democrats for their efforts to support political violence.

Boebert’s remarks came as the House debated left-wing impeachment efforts against President Donald Trump during his final days in office.

“Madam Speaker, I rise today to oppose this impeachment and to denounce the recent violence on the Capitol just as I opposed the previous impeachment and the violence we’ve all witnessed all summer long across our great country,” Boebert said.

“Make no mistake here. The hypocrisy of the left is on full display,” Boebert continued, highlighting previous comments from Democrats which could be seen as calls for violence.

“What about the gentlewoman from New York who defended the looting by saying the looters just wanted loafs of bread,” Boebert asked rhetorically. “The last I checked, Best Buy, Tesla, and the stores alike do not produce baked goods.”

“Where’s the accountability for the left after encouraging and normalizing violence? Rather than helping American people in this time, we start impeachments that further divide our country,” Boebert said. “I call bull-crap.”

“I hear the Democrats demanding unity; sadly, they’re only unified in hate,” Boebert concluded.

Pro-Life Groups Celebrate As SCOTUS Protects Unborn Children From Mail-Order Abortion Drugs

Despite all the bad news clinging to the Trump administration in its final week, President Trump’s commitment to protecting the most innocent and vulnerable among us has yielded another important pro-life victory. 
According to LifeNews.com, the conservative majority in the Supreme Court upheld an FDA rule which prevented women from acquiring dangerous abortion drugs in the mail without an in-person consultation with a physician first. Of course, keeping one more safeguard in between a woman and total convenience in killing her unborn baby is an extreme necessity that will save many unborn lives, and the heath and lives of at-risk, naive mothers. 
According to the outlet, the Trump administration appealed the ruling of a Maryland U.S. District judge who “suspended a U.S. Food and Drug Administration safety rule for the abortion drug mifepristone after pro-abortion groups sued.” Last July, these pro-abort groups convinced Judge Theodore Chuang that the requirement of women to see a physician before requesting abortifacient drugs put them in danger of contracting the coronavirus.
The outlet wrote that said groups argued that the “FDA should halt its requirement that the drug be provided in person because it would protect women from potential exposure to the coronavirus at an abortion facility.”
Soon after, the Trump administration appealed the judge’s ruling, arguing that “it would be safer for women to see a doctor first because the drug can kill or inure women in certain medical situations.”

In the United States, mifepristone has been linked to at least 24 women’s deaths and 4,000 serious complications. Risks of mifepristone and misoprostol, the most common abortion drugs taken together to abort and then expel an unborn baby from the womb, include excessive bleeding, severe abdominal pain, infection and hemorrhage.
Thankfully on Tuesday, January 12, the entire conservative majority on SCOTUS — which included Trump’s three picks — Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett — voted 6-3 to uphold Trump’s appeal and reinstate FDA safety rules.
Pro-life advocacy group, Susan B. Anthony List praised SCOTUS’ decision as “a major pro-life victory.” They explained the importance of the case over Twitter, stating, “Planned Parenthood and the abortion lobby even sought to exploit the #COVID 19 pandemic to push abortion by mail, promoting DIY abortion at home, upping the risk of serious complications.”
Live Action founder Lila Rose called the Supreme Court ruling “a small but positive step,” on social media. She also asserted, “NO abortion should be permitted by law, whether at home or in clinic.”
Students for Life of America declared “VICTORY!!!” on January 12, and elaborated that the de-regulation of “chemical abortion” — which the Trump administration appealed — “is dangerous for women and deadly for pre-born human being in the womb.”
With pro-abort Democrats acquiring more governmental power in this last election, Trump’s commitment to protecting unborn children will play a crucial role in beating back assaults against the most vulnerable among us. Perhaps these little pro-life victories will help us get through the darkness of a Biden-Harris administration.

Liz Cheney led ten House Republicans who voted to impeach President Trump today.

As reported earlier the vote was 232-197.

The US House just impeached President Trump for calling for “inciting an armed insurrection” that he never called for and that was never armed.

Liz Cheney defended her vote today in a statement that does not even make sense, “I’m not going anywhere,” she tells me in the Capitol. “This is a vote of conscience. It’s one where there are different views in our conference. But our nation is facing an unprecedented, since the civil war, constitutional crisis. That’s what we need to be focused on. That’s where our efforts and attention need to be.”

There is even evidence — ON VIDEO — that President Trump called for a peaceful rally.
This is a turning point for the Republican party.

Iran set to produce uranium metal, a key material used in nuclear weapons, UN watchdog says

Iran has begun work on an assembly line to produce a key material used in nuclear warheads, the International Atomic Energy Agency said in a confidential report released to member states on Wednesday.

According to the report, allegedly viewed by the Wall Street Journal, the Islamic republic informed the United Nations watchdog agency that in coming months it was planning to manufacture equipment it will use to produce uranium metal at a site in Isfahan.

The Wall Street Journal story noted that the development was a significant one since uranium metal can be used to construct the core of a nuclear weapon. Here’s more from the story:

Iran hasn’t made uranium metal so far, senior Western officials said. The IAEA said Tehran had given it no timeline for when it would do so. Still, the development brings Iran closer to crossing the line between nuclear operations with a potential civilian use, such as enriching nuclear fuel for power-generating reactors, and nuclear-weapons work, something Tehran has long denied ever carrying out.

Iran’s ambassador to the IAEA, Kazem Gharib Abadi, said Wednesday on Twitter that Iran would produce uranium metal, saying it would allow the development of a new fuel for the Tehran civilian research reactor. Iran has said it would take four to five months to install the equipment to produce a uranium powder from which uranium metal is made.

The move will likely add to rising tensions between the United States and Iran in the early days of President-elect Joe Biden’s term, as production of uranium metal is strictly prohibited by the Iran nuclear agreement forged in 2015 when Biden was vice president.

President Trump withdrew the U.S. from the agreement in 2018, but Iran is still part of the international agreement that also includes the U.K., France, Germany, China, and Russia. On the campaign trail last year, Biden signaled that he was open to re-entering the nuclear deal.

Iran appears to be testing the boundaries of late perceiving that the incoming Biden administration will be much more lenient.

In December, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani bragged he has "no doubt" the administration under Biden will "bow" to Iran by rejoining the nuclear deal and lifting sanctions reimposed on them by Trump.

Only a few days later, satellite photos obtained by the Associated Press appeared to show new construction underway at Iran’s underground nuclear site at Fordo, another breach of the agreement.

When is a Progressive Not a Progressive but a Marxist/ Socialist?The practice of changing words or phrases to make them sound better (being more politically correct) is exactly what we do when we call Democrats “Progressives” (a/k/a liberals), but we actually mean that they should really be called Marxist/Socialists.

The Democrats think that the word “liberal” is a term that carries a negative meaning, so that’s why they use the word “Progressive”.  It’s still the same leftist programs no matter what you call it.  Joe Biden, in order to appease the left-flank of his party and in order to get their vote, tried to portray himself as a “progressive moderate” (an oxymoron if there ever was one), but was that a good description of his program?
