The CEO of Parler, which has been described as an alternative to Twitter, defended free speech in an interview on Tuesday in the midst of mainstream media-led criticism of the social media platform.
“People say crazy things all the time,” and “it’s not against the law to have those opinions,” Parler CEO John Matze told Fox News. He was responding to a question about why establishment media outlets have taken an increasingly critical tone against the platform.
“I always ask them, ‘What do you think of the First Amendment? Do you believe that we should have somebody in New York, let’s say in the middle of Times Square, telling you what you can and cannot say?’” Matze said.
“Because that’s what these companies are doing.”
“I don’t know why they’re so afraid. Maybe it’s because they don’t like that people are getting power again,” he continued.
“But it’s not against the law to have those opinions,” Matze added.
“It’s not against the law to express yourself. And if you like one political candidate or another, or you believe or don’t believe in climate change,” he continued, “you shouldn’t be taken offline because of it.”
After the Nov. 3 elections, Parler has seen a boost in users and traffic, coming after some conservative pundits and officials moved to the platform from Twitter.
The firm in late September posted a message about Election Day, saying it will be “a hub for unfettered, curation-free information before, during, and after the November 3 election.” The firm then took a shot at Facebook, Google, and Twitter for attempting to control the flow of information.
“Google, Facebook, and Twitter, by contrast, have announced plans to control the dissemination of ‘misinformation,’ which means, in effect: to take it upon themselves to tell their users what information they should trust and, ultimately, what they should think,” it said.
The three firms have posted disclaimers, fact checks, and have limited the reach on posts that allegedly run afoul of narratives they seek to promote.
Matze’s comments come as Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg came under fire from Senate Republicans in a Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday.
“That to me seems like you’re the ultimate editor,” committee chairman Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said during his opening statement to the two CEOs. “The editorial decision by the New York Post to run the story was overridden by Twitter and Facebook in different fashions to prevent its dissemination. Now if that’s not making an editorial decision I don’t know what would be.”
Some media pundits as well as researchers have complained that Parler allows for the spread of so-called conspiracy theories or disinformation. Bret Schafer, a fellow focusing on disinformation at the Alliance for Securing Democracy, told The Hill:
“Anytime you take a laissez-faire approach to moderation —you say ‘anything goes’ right up until actual threats of real world violence—that creates a huge space for some really problematic things to happen.”
He didn’t provide any evidence that showed whether views expressed on Parler have led to violence.
Dr. Kelli Ward, chair of the Republican Party of Arizona, said in a Wednesday update that the day is “expected to be a lawsuit day” for the Arizona Republican Party, and she reaffirmed her confidence that the election will “ultimately be decided in favor of President Donald J. Trump.”
Ward described the day as a “lawsuit day” in her morning update. The Arizona GOP is expected in court Wednesday afternoon over their lawsuit demanding a hand-count audit of votes by precinct rather than by voting centers in Maricopa County.
“The Arizona Republican Party has a lawsuit about election integrity,” Ward said, identifying the Arizona Democratic Party and Democrat Secretary of State Katie Hobbs (D) as the opposition.
“And by the way, the Maricopa County Republican Party did make an issue of this,” Ward said. “They passed a resolution saying we need to vote by precincts all the way back in June before the primary — June of 2020”:
“There is a fundamental difference between sampling ‘polling centers’ and ‘precincts,’ most notable being the fact that there were only around 175 voting centers in this election but there were 748 precincts,” the Republican Party of Arizona said in a statement last week, announcing the legal action:
Ward said the issue comes down to if the legislature and the law it passed “should that take second fiddle to an election procedures manual created and printed by one member of the executive branch — Katie Hobbs, the Secretary of State who has called Trump supporters — remember — neo-Nazis.”
“I say no,” Ward said, adding that they will “hopefully have good news” to share after today’s showing in court.
Ward also expressed confidence that Trump will, in fact, emerge as the victor in the highly disputed presidential election.
“I’m going to tell you. I believe — I still do now, just as I did on election night — that this election will ultimately be decided in favor of President Donald J. Trump. ur 11 electoral votes will go to him,” she said.
“And we should not and will not ever allow mistakes, glitches, and other irregularities to become a partisan issue. We want full transparency and election integrity,” she added. “That’s it.”

We’ve reported on multiple incidents of ‘glitches’ that people observed related to the 2020 Presidential Election. These incidents seem odd and so we sought out and found a data set from the 2020 Presidential election. A group of IT patriots analyzed a data set of election vote data and found millions of votes in the election that were either lost or transferred from President Trump to Joe Biden. We reported this and our post was retweeted by the President.
Then in Pennsylvania we identified a strange pattern in vote percentages between President Trump’s Election Day votes and his mail-in votes that was basically impossible and suggested fraud:
Then we reported on a pattern from a few select counties in Michigan that were consistent but made no sense other than to indicate fraud. Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai using his approach identified 138,000 votes transferred from Trump to Biden in his study:
Then we used the same analysis used by Dr. Shiva on a data set from Milwaukee and found more votes transferred from President Trump to Biden. This was enough to change the Wisconsin election to President Trump.
Next we reported on another unusual pattern in vote reporting in Virginia and Pennsylvania where after large entries were made which provided a lead for Joe Biden late in the election process, nearly all subsequent entries after that period of time had the exact same unusual ratio in Trump to Biden votes.
Tonight we can report we found the same impossible pattern in Wisconsin that we saw in MI, PA, GA and VA.
Just like the other states we reviewed, in Wisconsin President Trump was up in the Presidential Election all Election Day and night. When most Americans went to bed the President was way up and they expected another Trump win, but when they woke up in the morning after the election they quickly notices something had happened.
President Trump was ahead all night and then suddenly early in the morning over 100,000 votes were dumped for Biden.
Then once Biden took the lead after data dumps nearly every single entry was at the same ratio of Trump to Biden votes.
Again, it is completely INCONCEIVABLE mathematically and statistically that after the switch in the lead to Biden, batches of votes would have exactly the same distribution to both candidates.
What is going on with the data and the votes recorded in the 2020 election? These patterns observed in multiple states make no logical sense other than that data is being manipulated in the greatest election fraud in world history.
A monitor has reportedly discovered a 9,626-vote error in Georgia’s DeKalb County’s hand recount, according to Georgia Republican Party chairman David Shafer.
“One of our monitors discovered a 9,626 vote error in the DeKalb County hand count. One batch was labeled 10,707 for Biden and 13 for Trump – an improbable margin even by DeKalb standards,” Shafer said. “The actual count for the batch was 1,081 for Biden and 13 for Trump.”
According to Shafer, the error, if not discovered, would have essentially given Biden enough votes to “cancel out Trump’s gains from Fayette, Floyd and Walton.”
“We were limited to 1 monitor for every 10 counting tables and we were kept some distance from the tables. There is no telling what we missed under these unreasonable restrictions. The miscounted batch had been be signed off by two official counters,” Shafer continued in the Wednesday update.
The Georgia GOP chairman added that an affidavit from the monitor has been turned over to the secretary of state, and their attorneys have “requested an investigation”:
Shafer also pushed back on criticism from the Cook Political Report’s Dave Wasserman, who stated that Shafer’s report was “grossly misleading.”
“Dave is wrong here. We have no idea whether either the first or second hand count matches the original machine count because audit has not been completed,” he said after Wasserman asserted that the discovery does not impact Georgia’s overall vote margin:
The news follows reports of thousands of uncounted ballots in other Georgia counties. On Monday, the Georgia secretary of state’s office announced that Floyd County discovered roughly 2,600 uncounted ballots.
According to officials, President Trump benefitted the most from the discovery, with 1,643 votes, followed by 865 additional votes for Joe Biden (D) and 16 for libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen. The finding resulted in a net gain of about 800 for the president:
On Tuesday, the Georgia secretary of state’s office announced that over 2,700 votes in Fayette County were not uploaded properly.
“Of the 2,755 votes, 1,577 were for President Trump, while 1,128 went to former Vice President Joe Biden,” as Breitbart News reported:
Trump also netted 176 votes following an audit in Walton County.
Shafer and Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA), who is leading the Trump campaign’s recount effort in Georgia, sent a letter to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) last week expressing concern over the state’s audit, recount, and recanvass and contending that the “stated goals … do not satisfy our concerns that gave rise to our request for a hand count in the first place.”

Conservative commentator and activist Candace Owens is suing Facebook for what she says is defamation.
What are the details?
According to the Daily Wire, Owens said that Facebook fact-checkers — who are employed to flag what they deem to be misinformation — are targeting her and their fact-checking has led to a demonetization of her Facebook page.
"Quite literally a doctor gave his opinion about COVID-19, which I shared, and Facebook issued a strike on my account because they said only information that they agree with about COVID-19 … was acceptable," she explained. "I decided I was not going to give up and sit down. The fact-checkers … are activists for the left that shut down your speech if they don’t like it."
"It is time to fact-check the fact-checkers," the conservative firebrand added. "I’m going to put these suckers through discovery and figure out what the relationship is that they have with Facebook."
According to the outlet, Owens launched an online website to help crowdfund her forthcoming legal battle against the social media giants.
"Our freedoms are being stripped away," Owens’ site, titled "Fact-Check Zuck," says. "The overlords of Big Tech are determining what Americans can and cannot say, share, like, and post. Support our legal efforts today as we fight back against Facebook’s fact-checkers, confronting those who are suppressing free speech, thought, and expression across our great country."
Fox News reported that Owens retained a pair of lawyers to represent her in the suit, including attorney Todd McMurtry — who was part of former Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann’s legal team.
Owens shared further information in a video posted to Twitter earlier in the month.
She captioned the announcement, "Guess what?! I am OFFICIALLY suing the ‘Fact-Checkers’ who are really just activists."

The word “struggling,” doesn’t seem to be strong enough to describe what has happened to the ratings for NBC’s Sunday Night Football and ESPN’s Monday Night Football.
Sunday Night Football’s Patriots-Ravens game last weekend was down a whopping 31 percent over last year’s Week 10 game become the season’s least-watched Sunday game, according to Sports Media Watch.
“Ratings have dropped for all 11 NFL games on NBC this season, with viewership down for all-but-one,” SMW reported.
Meanwhile, ESPN’s Monday Night Football averaged 11.45 million viewers and was the series’ second-best Week 10 audience since 2015, it was still down 28 percent over last season.
On the other hand, Fox earned 18.24 million viewers Sunday with its Buccaneers-Panthers game becoming the most-watched game since 2016 when a Week 16 game earned 18.40 million viewers on Fox on Christmas Eve.
However, the Seahawks-Rams and Bengals-Steelers games on Fox lost twenty percent and 13 percent respectively.
As to CBS, its Bills-Cardinals game was off 35 percent.
Even as football continues to bring more viewers than other TV fares, the numbers are still not improving as much as the NFL had hoped in this post-election time and most games are still falling over last year’s numbers.

A second memory card was found in the Georgia recount process with uncounted votes that gives President Donald Trump a boost against former Vice President Joe Biden.
The Georgia Secretary of State’s office told reporters on Tuesday that the discrepancy was discovered in the votes from Fayette County during a hand recount.
A total of 2,755 votes were discovered, with 1,577 going to Trump and 1,128 going for Biden. The new votes decrease Biden’s sizable lead by about 450 votes.
This is an addition to the first batch of uncounted votes that were discovered in Floyd County on Monday. Those votes netted Trump about 800 votes.
Secretary of State official Gabriel Sterling said that while the mistake from Floyd County was due to ballots being accidentally uncounted and not entered into the system, the mistake in Fayette County had to do with a ballot count on a memory card not being added to the system.
He also said that officials from the county missed several methods meant to make sure the card had been uploaded.
"There were several spots, where the human beings were running it, just didn’t follow the procedure, and that’s why this happened. And that’s why you have the audit, to discover these things," Sterling said.
He went on to say that 57 counties had no deviations at all from their original ballot count. Another 21 counties had a minuscule deviation of either one more or less in the count from the original, and 32 others are off by single digits.
He also said that there might be about 224 votes in a third county that could have been unaccounted for, but that those were still being investigated.
Officials are tasked with completing their recounts by Wednesday so that the state can officially confirm the results on Friday.
Despite both of the newly found votes from Fayette and Floyd counties, Biden retains a lead of 12,929 votes over the president.
