President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign released an ad Wednesday featuring former Vice President Joe Biden using a teleprompter in interviews.
The video features multiple incidents suggesting that the former vice president was using a teleprompter during interviews, including a reflection of a teleprompter in a framed photo.
Other incidents in the video show Biden motioning for aides to scroll the teleprompter up or move it closer.
The ad also features video from Fox News host Brett Baier questioning Biden’s National Press Secretary TJ Ducklo about the issue.
Ducklo famously was unable to answer the question after Baier pressed him for a “yes or no” answer.
Trump has repeatedly mocked Biden’s dependence on a teleprompter, frequently doing interviews from his basement in Delaware.
“I think the media is disgracing themselves,” Trump said in a phone interview with Sean Hannity on September 9. “But it’s obvious that Joe is reading the answers off a teleprompter in many cases.”
Former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka has reiterated his disgust over NFL players who protest during the national anthem, telling them if they don’t like the U.S.A., they should “go to another country.”
In an interview on Newsmax TV on Monday, the Hall of Fame coach once again wagged his finger at the “privileged” players who have become incredibly wealthy playing football.
“Football’s football. It’s not a complicated thing. You’re playing the game, you’re enjoying the game. You don’t like the game, get out of it,” Ditka told host Shaun Kraisman.
“It’s not for protesting one way or the other. What color you are, what you think, this or that,” Ditka continued. “You play football. That’s it. You’re privileged. You got a gift from God that you can play the game because you got a body you can do it with. I don’t really understand what you’re protesting. I played the game. I coached the game for a long time. It makes no sense to me.
“You got to get down on your hands and knees and thank God every night that you can make the kind of money you can make playing football,” Ditka said.
The man immortalized in Chicago as “Da Coach” then slammed those protesting and, as he has in past interviews, he went on to tell them to get out of the U.S.A. if they hate it here so much.
“I would tell those players go to another country and play football there,” he said. “You don’t have to come out. You don’t have to come out if you go to another country. You can’t! Because the game’s only played in this country. And if you can’t respect this country, get the hell out of it.”
The coach delivered this same sentiment during an interview in July, as well.
As he did with Newsmax, in an interview with TMZ Sports, Ditka blasted the athletes demonstrating against the country that has given them so much.
“If you can’t respect our national anthem, get the hell out of the country,” Ditka said. “That’s the way I feel. Of course, I’m old fashioned, so I’m only going to say what I feel.”
Millions of fans seem to be lining up on Ditka’s side over this point as the NFL’s TV ratings have cratered nearly 30 percent since it has gone all-in for Black Lives Matter propaganda.
The Job Creators Network Foundation hammered Joe Biden after he spoke about Veterans Affairs during a campaign stop in Florida on Tuesday, pointing to the “irreparable harm” he and President Barack Obama inflicted on America’s veterans.
“Joe Biden must think voters have as short of memories as he does. The Obama administration, which he was part of, oversaw the VA’s wait-list scandal, toxic culture, and widespread misconduct,” said Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network, one of the country’s largest pro-jobs organizations.
“The pervasive rot in the VA under Obama and Biden caused irreparable harm to our nation’s veterans,” Ortiz said. “Despite his promises of reform, Biden already failed veterans once. He doesn’t deserve a second chance. In contrast, under President Trump, the VA has made reforms to put veteran patients first and give them more healthcare choices — exactly what JCNF’s Healthcare for You reform framework emphasizes for all Americans.”

Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont (D) released his 70th executive order related to the coronavirus Tuesday by announcing fines of $100, which can now be issued by non-police officials, to violators of his mask mandate.
The governor’s executive order authorizes the state “Commissioner of Public Health, local health directors, district health directors, and their designees; municipal chief executive officers and their designees; and state and municipal police officers, peace officers …special police forces … and public safety departments of institutions of higher education to issue fines.”
A fine of $100 can be issued by any of the officials mentioned to any person who is not wearing a mask in a public place, save for those with medical exemptions.
Fines can be issued to those who, while outdoors, are not wearing a mask and not maintaining a distance of six feet from every other person.
Businesses can be fined as well for any employee’s failure to wear the mandated mask.
Those who sponsor or host an outdoor event that violates the Department of Economic and Community Development’s gathering size restrictions for those events can receive a fine of $500, while any person who attends such an event can be fined $250.
Currently, executive orders state private indoor gatherings are capped at a 25-person limit, while private outdoor gatherings are restricted to 100 people. An organized outdoor event cannot have more than 500 people.
The order took effect immediately and will remain in effect until November 9.
Earlier in September, a Democrat-controlled special committee of the Connecticut legislature voted to extend Lamont’s emergency powers until February 9, 2021.
On Wednesday, a man who appeared to be protesting the governor’s mask mandate interrupted Lamont’s press conference during a groundbreaking ceremony for a transit project.
According to WTNH News, the man shouted to the governor using a bullhorn that there is no scientific evidence to support a mask mandate.
The protester said the governor never returned his phone calls. Lamont said he would speak with him after the press conference.
Three brothers, two of whom are illegal aliens, stand accused of raping a 10-year-old girl in Kenner, Louisiana.
Raul Paz-Perez, a 35-year-old illegal alien from Honduras, and Wilmer Paz-Perez, a 35-year-old illegal alien from Honduras, were arrested by the Kenner Police Department this week and charged with first-degree rape of a child under the age of 13-years-old.
Their third brother, 31-year-old Elder Paz-Perez, is wanted by police on rape charges as well. Elder’s immigration status remains unknown at this time.
According to police, Elder and his two brothers had been living with the girl and her family because Elder is the boyfriend of the girl’s mother. One day, as the three brothers were alone with the 10-year-old girl, they allegedly offered her money for sex with them.
The girl refused and locked herself in a bathroom, according to police. That’s when the brothers attempted to bust open the door. Eventually, one of the brothers was able to open the door.
At this point, police said the brothers ripped the girl’s clothes off, held her down, and began raping her. The girl told a relative of the sexual assault days later, leading to Raul and Wilmer’s arrests.
Now, police say the three brothers may have also sexually assaulted the girl’s sister, 15-years-old and potentially two step-siblings of the girl.
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency has placed detainers on Raul and Wilmer so that should they be released from local custody, they will be turned over to federal immigration officials for arrest and deportation.
While Raul and Wilmer are being held without bail at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center, Elder remains at-large. A law enforcement official suggested to the New York Post that he could have fled Louisiana.

Joe Biden compared President Donald Trump to the late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro on Tuesday during a campaign swing through Florida.
The former vice president, who has struggled to make inroads with the Sunshine State’s large Cuban-American population, first broached the comparison during an interview with Univision Orlando when asked about claims Trump has made alleging the Democrat ticket is a “trojan horse” for more radical elements of the progressive movement. Biden responded that attempts to paint him as a “socialist” were foolhardy given the incumbent and “who he admires.”
“Trump has more in common with Castro than with Churchill,” the Democrat nominee told the outlet, adding that Trump “admires Putin, he admires Xi, he admires everyone who behaves in an authoritarian way. I am the exact opposite. I have faith in the democratic system.”
Biden repeated the claim later the same day, this time during a televised interview with José Díaz-Balart for Noticias Telemundo. During the sit-down, the former vice president was again asked about Trump’s efforts to portray him as a tool of the “extreme left.” He responded:
I have supported my whole life the basic fundamental American values of decency, honor, fairness, giving people an opportunity … to work there way up. This president has done none of that. This president embraces dictators, he’s more like Castro than Churchill. He has no affinity whatsoever with what average Americans are worried about.
The comparisons to Castro come as the former vice president is attempting to jumpstart his campaign among Florida’s Latino population, specifically its large Cuban-American contingent.
A poll by the Miami Herald released last weekfound Biden underperforming in Miami-Dade County, a heavily Democratic area that is key to the party’s efforts to win the state. The poll indicated that in a head-to-head matchup, Biden received 55 percent among the county’s voters, compared to Trump’s 38 percent. Four years prior, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton crushed Trump in the county, 63 percent to 33 percent.
The Herald poll also found that 73 percent of Cuban-Americans in Miami-Dade County had a favorable opinion of Trump, compared to 23 percent unfavorable. Meanwhile, only 32 percent of Cuban-Americans viewed the former vice president favorably, while 63 percent did not. Moreover, among the county’s Hispanic voters in general, Trump had a stronger approval rating (53 percent favorable to 44 percent unfavorable) than Biden (47 percent favorable to 44 percent unfavorable).
The results in Miami-Dade County appear mirrored across the state, at least according to a poll commissioned by Unite the Country, a leading pro-Biden Super PAC. That poll found 56 percent of Cuban-Americans across Florida held a favorable view of Trump, compared to 42 percent unfavorable. Among the demographic, the incumbent led the Democrat nominee by 18 percentage points.
Biden’s trouble with Cuban-Americans could be a reason why Biden trails Trump among Florida’s Latino population in a recent NBC/Marist College poll. That survey found that Trump led among the demographic with 50 percent support to Biden’s 46 percent. Even though the margin is small, the results are surprising, given that Clinton received 62 percent of Florida’s Latino vote to Trump’s 35 percent in 2016.
A Massachusetts man installed an electric fence around the Trump 2020 sign in his front yard to keep potential thieves from stealing it.
John Oliveria, of New Bedford, said he installed the fence because six of his Trump 2020 campaign signs have been stolen from his lawn since May, KCTV reported.
“It’s a shame I have to do this,” said Oliveria. “I believe in the president. Obviously, people didn’t like it.”
Oliveria, a 20-year veteran of the Navy and member of the New Bedford School Committee, said he had enough and it was time to take charge of things after he filed two police reports about the sign thefts.
Oliveria told WJAR that a separate sign, which read, “Voice Your Vote. Vote New Bedford” was never removed.
Since he installed the 3-1/2 foot fence, the 54-year-old disabled veteran said his sign has remained untouched.
Oliveria was a lifelong Democrat who recently changed his party affiliation to Republican, and said he would never go around stealing signs for the opposing candidate.
“That’s what our country is about. Different opinions and voicing them in a fair and equitable manner. Taking a sign is not fair and equitable,” said Oliveira. “You have to be able to respect each other or we won’t be able to accomplish anything if we don’t. Don’t mess with my right to free speech.”
