Number 7: Former NY Journalist Accuses Andrew Cuomo of Sexual Harassment

Jessica Bakeman, a journalist formerly stationed at the New York State Capitol, has come forward as the seventh woman to level allegations of sexual harassment against embattled New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D).

Bakeman broke her silence about Cuomo in an essay published in The New Yorker on Friday, alleging that the governor placed his arm around her shoulders during a party at the Executive Mansion in 2012.

“He left it there, and kept me pinned next to him, for several minutes as he finished telling his story,” Bakeman, now an education reporter for Miami’s WLRN, recalled. “I stood there, my cheeks hot, giggling nervously as my male colleagues did the same. We all knew it was wrong, but we did nothing.”

In another instance, Bakeman alleges that the governor held her body tightly while she said goodnight at a holiday party in 2014.

“He took my hand, as if to shake it, then refused to let go,” she recalled. “He put his other arm around my back, his hand on my waist, and held me firmly in place while indicating to a photographer he wanted us to pose for a picture.”

According to Bakeman, Cuomo’s behavior toward her was not about sex but rather exerting “power.”

“He wanted me to know that he could take my dignity away at any moment with an inappropriate comment or a hand on my waist,” she wrote.

“The way he bullies and demeans women is different,” she added.  “He uses touching and sexual innuendo to stoke fear in us. That is the textbook definition of sexual harassment.”

Portland Police Invisible as Antifa Renews Attacks on Federal Courthouse

Portland Police Bureau officers and riot teams appeared to ignore the storming of the U.S. federal courthouse in their city on Thursday night. Videos show Antifa smashing windows, spraying graffiti, and setting fires. Portland police were nowhere to be seen in the footage.

Department of Homeland Security agents responded to a Thursday night attack on the Mark O. Hatfield Federal Courthouse as Antifa smashed windows, set fires, and vandalized the property, The Oregonian reported. Rioters told reporters they attacked because federal officials removed the physical barriers that had been protecting the courthouse since July.

“Demonstrators also cited the recent dismantling of protections in front of the courthouse and proceedings in the case of a former Minneapolis police officer charged in George Floyd’s death as reasons they were protesting Thursday night,” the article states quoting journalist Suzette Smith.

Video’s tweeted by KOIN CBS6 journalist Jennifer Dowling show the violent attacks on the courthouse. In the videos, there are no signs of a Portland police.

Federal Protective Services officials responsible for protecting the courthouse made an announcement ordering people to leave the property.

Department of Homeland Security agents deployed to enforce control of the scene and began making arrests.

Federal agents pushed back the crowd on at least three separate efforts and they attempted to secure the building, The Oregonian added. Videos indicate the arrest of multiple people.

Independent journalist Bethany Kerley showed actions by federal agents to move the crowd away from the courthouse.

Journalist Grace Morgan tweeted an image showing a graffiti mural proclaiming “New President — Same Imperialism.”

More protests are slated for Friday in the Pearl District, KOIN6 reports. “Robert King, the mayor’s senior public safety adviser, said the group spearheading recent protests is made up of ‘self-described anarchists,’” the article states.

“Protest is fine, that’s not what we’re talking about,” PPB Deputy Chief Chris Davis told the local CBS affiliate. “With this group, this is a small group that is bent on destroying things. And what they want is a conflict. My advice is — don’t give them a conflict.”

However, no videos appear to show a Portland Police Bureau presence at the Thursday night riot.

Breitbart News reached out to Portland Police Bureau officials for information about the department’s apparent lack of response to criminal activity in their city.

PPB Sergeant Kevin Allen responded that their officers made one arrest at an incident outside the federal courthouse that occurred earlier in the day. “I’m trying to confirm any other involvement we had in any other disturbance,” he added.

COVID Relief Bill Discriminates, Provides Aid for Farmers Based on Race – Some Aren’t Happy About It

As many people know, congressional Democrats got their $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill passed this week. However, some of the radical policies inside the bill have gone largely underreported. One of those policies is a provision that farmers receive certain aid only if they are a racial minority. According to the American Farm Bureau Foundation,…

Biden’s scary, boring, and bizarre address to the nation

On Thursday night, a masked Biden tottered down a long, empty hall to a podium. He then gave the most bizarre presidential address in American history. After a grim recital of “facts” about the last year, Biden emphasized multiple times that Americans had better take the vaccine – and be grateful to him for his amazing ability to get the vaccine to Americans. He also insisted that, vaccines or not, the government’s in control and can lock all of us up all over again.

Here, in no particular order, are the points that struck me:

1. Biden was more alert than he’s been in many months. Given how frail and confused Biden’s been lately, well, let’s just say his verve was suspicious. Even his eyes, which are usually tightly squinted as he struggles to stay alert and read his teleprompter, were wide open, almost scarily so. Still, he got visibly tired near the end, slurring his words and seeming lost.

2. The speech was both bizarre and boring. Despite the teleprompter, it wandered hither and yon, without ever touching clearly on a single point. It was a grim, depressing speech about a miserable year that probably won’t get better even with a vaccine because we must all remain scared and isolated.

3. Biden kept saying that he was going to tell the truth. He quoted a woman he allegedly met who told him her heart’s desire: “I just want the truth. The truth. Just tell me the truth.’”

“Tell the truth,” Biden said again.”

“My fellow Americans,” he said, you’re owed nothing less than the truth.”

Later, he added, “I will tell you the truth.”

And then he said, “In the coming weeks and months, I’ll be traveling along with the first lady” and a whole host of others, “to tell you the truth.”

Do you know who says things like that? Someone who’s lying.

4. Biden dragged in, almost randomly, the fact that there is a rash of attacks on Asians of late: “Vicious hate crimes against Asian Americans who have been attacked, harassed, blamed, and scapegoated.”

What he was implying is that people have been so maddened by Trump (whose name Biden never once mentioned) saying that the Wuhan virus originated in China, that it drove maddened white supremacists to attack Asians. As best as I can tell, the attacks against Asians come almost entirely from the Black community – and, more than that, from a segment of the Black community that is not in sympathy with Trump and is therefore unlikely to be influenced by him. What nobody on the left admits is that Blacks have long been hostile to Asians.

5. Biden opened with a nasty swipe at Trump: “A year ago, we were hit with a virus that was met with silence and spread unchecked, denials for days, weeks, then months.”

This was not the truth. In fact, on January 31, Trump stopped travel from China, something every Democrat, from Biden on down, attacked as “xenophobic.” By early March, Trump had swung into action, partnering with the private sector to produce masks, ventilators, pop-up hospitals – and vaccines.

6. Speaking of vaccines, one of the nastiest things about Biden’s speech was his repeated emphasis on how spectacularly his administration had acted with regard to producing and distributing vaccines. This ignored entirely that it was Trump who supercharged their production and distribution. The entire speech was a perfect of example of damnatio memorieae – that is, the cancellation of Trump’s memory as if he never existed.

Trump must have been given a heads-up that Biden would do this for he sent out the following email message on Thursday:

I hope everyone remembers when they’re getting the COVID-19 (often referred to as the China Virus) Vaccine, that if I wasn’t President, you wouldn’t be getting that beautiful “shot” for 5 years, at best, and probably wouldn’t be getting it at all. I hope everyone remembers!

7. The main thrust of the speech was that everyone must get the vaccine (the wonderful Biden vaccine). However, Biden conceded that even with the vaccine, masks and social distancing must continue. Even with everyone vaccinated, by July 4, maybe we can gather with small groups outdoors. In other words, even as we’re all pumped full of a vaccine, nothing will change. But we should trust Biden and remember that we’re all in this together.

8. Here’s the scariest thing Biden said, although he slipped it in so quickly many may not have noticed (emphasis mine): “Fourth, in the coming weeks, we will issue further guidance on what you can and cannot do once fully vaccinated to lessen the confusion, to keep people safe, and encourage more people to get vaccinated.”

The vaccine, rather than freeing us, will bring us even more tightly under government control as the federal government mandates what can and cannot do.

9. When he’d finished reading the teleprompter, Biden ignored a reporter’s shouted question, turned around, and tottered back down that long, empty hall.

If you can’t bear to listen to Biden, here’s a transcript of his speech. Or you can view it below:

Texas Bill Opens Up Loophole on Biden: The Border Wall Might Get Built After All

This bill could be the key to securing the southern border. Texas state Rep. Bryan Slaton filed a bill in the Texas House of Representatives on March 4 aimed at creating a fund to pay for “border security enhancement projects.” As an Op-Ed from The Blaze’s Daniel Horowitz explained, it could even lead to the…

TOTAL MELTDOWN: Don Lemon Screams About ‘White Supremacy’

During Wednesday’s CNN Tonight, host Don Lemon had an unhinged meltdown over Republican opposition to the Biden administration’s COVID-relief bill. The fearmongering, left-wing host was also apoplectic at the idea that some black Americans don’t view white supremacy as a pervasive and existential threat. At one point during the broadcast, Lemon appeared to become so indignant that producers had to intervene via his earpiece and tell him to refrain from yelling.
Unlike his colleague and peer Chris “Fredo” Cuomo, who has been known to scream at the camera and at ordinary people in public, Lemon usually propagates the left’s progressive agenda in a soft-spoken and generally condescending manner. But on Wednesday, however, viewers got to witness a much different side of the primetime, race-baiting demagogue.
Lemon’s outrage reached its apotheosis when he mocked Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) for going on Fox News Channel and unequivocally renouncing and dismissing the notion that white supremacy was the biggest threat to America. The raging CNN host played an out of context, selectively edited, one-liner from Scott’s appearance in which he said: “Woke supremacy is as bad as white supremacy.”
By “woke supremacy,” Scott was, of course, referring to the left’s recent cancellation or alteration of certain brands or products for failing to adhere to their standards of political correctness.
It’s worth noting that Scott didn’t downplay or justify the ideology of racial superiority; instead, he suggested that other ideologies and practices could have deleterious implications as well.
Nonetheless, Lemon was demonstrably confounded and enraged that there existed a black man in America who didn’t see himself as a victim. “Come on, Tim Scott,” he yelled several times. Lemon’s rage built and he became increasingly louder until he finally said: “I know you don’t want me to yell, but this is outra—this is ridiculous!”
“Does he want – do you want to explain who these woke supremacists are? Because I looked really carefully and I didn’t – hang on, before we go to the video. I haven’t seen any woke supremacists. I never saw – I’ve never seen a woke supremacist lynching anybody. Never saw a woke supremacist denying anybody access to housing or a job or education or voting rights. Never saw any woke supremacists enslaving anybody. Never saw any woke supremacists trying to keep people from marrying amongst different races.
Come on, Tim Scott! I didn’t see any woke supremacists storming the blanking Capitol. Where are the woke supremacists attacking police? Where are the woke supremacists hunting police officers in the halls of the Capitol and beating them with blue lives matter signs with white supremacist insignia on their shirts and carrying white supremacist paraphernalia. Guess who I saw. Guess who police officers were beaten by. Guess who wanted to hang the vice president. White supremacists, Tim Scott!
What are you doing! The only black Republican with a woke supremacist carrying the confederate battle flag in the nation’s capital, Tim Scott. Tim! Tim—I have to; I know you don’t want me to yell, but this is outra—this is ridiculous! You are gaslighting people. You are giving people misinformation. What are you doing, brotha? What are you doing? What are you doing? You’re not helping.”
In a truly ironic moment, Lemon actually accused Scott of “giving people misinformation” and “gaslighting.” Mind you, Lemon received a multi-million-dollar salary to literally gaslight viewers and spread one-sided information for two consecutive hours, five nights a week.
Lemon also expressed outrage over the fact that Representative Glenn Grothman (R-WI) correctly stated that the Black Lives Matter organization “doesn’t like the old fashioned family.”
The phrase “doesn’t like” was an understatement. Until recently, Black Lives Matter’s website asserted: “We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family.” (Below is a screenshot depicting the now-deleted webpage)
Lemon called Grothman’s statement “outrageous” and unabashedly defended the movement. Despite his position, wealth, and litany of opportunities, Lemon took to his usual self-victimization shtick and lamented the fact that he had a hard time (as many people do) determining his ancestry:
“It is outrageous. And again, I – if I have to say this every single night of my life while I’m here, I will. You need to know the history of this country. Do you know how many black families were separated during slavery? I’ve had my ancestry done twice. It is so hard to even find records that go back even two generations sometimes because what? The intentional separation of black families. And no records. You know why? They were considered property. So, it’s –God! Ugh! It just angers me sometimes that people can be so ignorant.”
On his show, Lemon often talks ad nauseam about the importance of having friends that are of varying races and ethnicities. Befriend someone who “doesn’t look like you,” Lemon often implores to viewers during the transition between Cuomo Prime Time and CNN Tonight. It’s demonstrable, however, from Lemon’s trashing of Congressmen Scott and Grothman that Lemon only seeks to befriend people who think like him.
Don Lemon’s shameless defense of the anti-American Black Lives Matter movement and his inexorable insistence that he—a cable news host earning millions of dollars annually—is a victim of oppression is brought to you, in part by, Allegra. DON LEMON: But while President Joe Biden is about to sign a presidency-defining bill, the GOP, the party of no, trying to distract and deflect with some really shameful statements about race, like this disgusting claim that Black Lives Matter doesn’t like families.
[CUTS TO CLIP OF REPRESENTATIVE GLENN GROTHMAN SPEAKING]
GLENN GROTHMAN [REPRESENTATIVE (R-WI)]: I know the strength that Black Lives Matters had in this last election. I know it’s a group, that it doesn’t like the old fashioned family. I’m disturbed that we have another program, here, in which we’re increasing the marriage penalty.
LEMON: Come on. Doesn’t like the old fashioned family. What does that mean when you’re – Black Lives Matter was about police brutality and violence and trying to keep family members and loved ones alive. Sounds like family values to me. What he said is not even coded racism. That’s right out—saying it right out loud. Saying it right out loud. People show you who they are, huh? He thinks he can just throw it in as an aside about Black Lives Matter, like nothing, the old fashioned family. What does old fashioned mean? Huh? What does old fashioned mean? What does that mean? Someone ask him that? Insulting millions and millions of black families. Stacey Plaskett not having it, not any of it.
[CUTS TO CLIP OF REPRESENTATIVE STACEY PLASKETT SPEAKING]
STACEY PLASKETT [DELEGATE (D-VI)]: How dare you – how dare you – say that Black Lives Matter, black people do not understand old fashioned families. Despite some of the issues, some of the things that you have put forward that I’ve heard out of your mouth in the oversight committee, in your own district, we have been able to keep your families alive for over 400 years. And the assault on our families to not have black lives or not even have black families. How dare you say that we are not interested in families in the black community. That is outrageous.
LEMON: It is outrageous. Ugh! It just angers me sometimes that people can be so ignorant. And then there’s Tim Scott. Tim Scott is the only black – the only – only – black Republican in the Senate telling Fox News – of course Fox News – that what he calls woke supremacy is as bad as white supremacy.
[CUTS TO CLIP OF TIM SCOTT ON FOX NEWS CHANNEL]
TIM SCOTT [SENATOR (R-SC)]: Woke supremacy is as bad as white supremacy.
LEMON: [AUDIBLE EXHALATION] Does he want – do you want to explain who these woke supremacists are? You’re not helping.
[…]
10:22 PM
LEMON: So, let me just say, you know, every night, I try to use this platform for good and for honesty. And I don’t mean to get so upset. But, sometimes it’s so enraging when you look at what the people who are supposed to be leading the country, their actions and what they’re doing and what they’re focusing on and what they choose to say and do. And I think about all the people I meet every single day who are trying to make this a better country, who are struggling, who are trying to get along different races and ethnicities and backgrounds and all over, and who are just trying to do their thing, every day. And the people at the top are not serving them. Or as we say, doing them dirty. Some talk about woke supremacists. Come on. We don’t need catchy words and catchy buzz phrases about woke supremacists versus white supremacists. People need help. People need to come together. People need an America that works. Kids back in school. They don’t need people going on state TV and coming up with little catchy things so they can stay in office and stay in power. Serve the people of this country. Get together some bipartisanship and stop doing the people of this country, the people you’re supposed to serve, stop doing them dirty. Get it right

US Intelligence Reveals Israel Has Bombed “Dozens” Of Iranian Oil Tankers

US Intelligence Reveals Israel Has Bombed "Dozens" Of Iranian Oil Tankers

All signs are currently pointing to serious escalation in the Middle East between Israel, Iran, and involving the United States – particularly after Israel’s recent claim of an Iranian sponsored attack on an Israeli-owned cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman two weeks ago.

Signaling the likelihood that another red hot ‘tanker war’ is set for regional waters within the upcoming months, a new bombshell report in The Wall Street Journal on Thursday reveals Israeli intelligence has been waging its own tanker sabotage campaign against the Iranians over the past two years, in order to thwart what Tel Aviv believes are illegal oil shipments that result in funds for terror groups.

"Israel has targeted at least a dozen vessels bound for Syria and mostly carrying Iranian oil out of concern that petroleum profits are funding extremism in the Middle East, US and regional officials say, in a new front in the conflict between Israel and Iran," the WSJ writes

Previously published photos of Iranian-owned Sabiti oil tanker sailing in the Red Sea, October 13, 2019.

It also appears part of the Israeli and US campaign to essentially starve the Assad government and bring it to its knees, further amidst near weekly Israeli airstrikes inside the war-torn country. The new report clearly suggests US intelligence officials knew about the covert tanker sabotage campaign in real time, and may have even assisted in some level of the planning or operations. Remember too that during the final months of the Trump administration Pompeo was essentially told he could go "gloves off" when it comes to greenlighting Israeli sabotage against Iran.

Officials say the covert espionage campaign has been underway going back to late 2019, which featured water mines being secretly attached to ships in order to stop ‘sanctions-busting activity’ in places like the Red Sea – which is a transit route the Islamic Republic uses to resupply its ally Syria of badly needed oil and fuel.

Interestingly, Iran has actually loudly claimed to be victim of precisely such Israeli mine and bomb attacks on the high seas in the recent past, which starting in 2019 were even reported in Israeli media.

See for example the below…

"In an episode last month, suspected Israeli operatives attached a limpet mine to attack an Iranian vessel as it anchored near Lebanon to deliver Iran oil to Syria, according to the first shipping professional," WSJ continues.

"The attacks on the tankers carrying Iranian oil haven’t been previously disclosed. Iranian officials have reported some of the attacks earlier and have said they suspect Israeli involvement." But typically when it’s the Iranians, Russians or Syrians making the allegations it gets ignored or batted down in Western press.

The rationale provided for such attacks in the report also includes that Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) typically operate or provide security for the tankers bound for Syria. All of this helps explain what appears to be Iranian retaliation over the past year – again, particularly the latest bombing incident against the Israeli-owned cargo ship Helios Ray in the Gulf of Oman.

The Israeli initiative also appears aimed at ensuring the disruption of Biden’s stated plans to rejoin the Iran nuclear deal.

Chief executive for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, Mark Dubowitz, summarized Tel Aviv’s approach as follows: "Israel stepped up the game beyond sanctions to sabotage," he was quoted in WSJ as saying. "The Red Sea sabotage is keeping with a broader economic warfare campaign."

“Don’t Go Down The Rabbit Hole” – NYTimes Decries Critical Thinking, Tells Americans To Trust Google Instead

"Don’t Go Down The Rabbit Hole" – NYTimes Decries Critical Thinking, Tells Americans To Trust Google Instead

Authored by Gavin Nascimento via The Free Thought Project,

A new article from the New York Times claims that instead of engaging with someone that challenges your worldview, you should “resist the lure of Rabbit Holes” and go to more authoritative sources such as Google and Wikipedia.

The New York Times appears to have declared war on traditional critical thinking, which they say “isn’t helping in the fight against misinformation”.

Sharing the insights of “a digital literacy expert” named Michael Caulfield, the article reads as follows:

“We’re taught that, in order to protect ourselves from bad information, we need to deeply engage with the stuff that washes up in front of us,” Mr. Caulfield told me recently. He suggested that the dominant mode of media literacy (if kids get taught any at all) is that “you’ll get imperfect information and then use reasoning to fix that somehow. But in reality, that strategy can completely backfire.”

In other words: Resist the lure of rabbit holes, in part, by reimagining media literacy for the internet hellscape we occupy.

What Does The New York Times Suggest We Do Instead?

Caulfield argues that the best way to learn about a source of information is to “leave it and look elsewhere”, by seeing how that source of information measures up to the existing status quo.

For further clarification, the New York Times’ “digital literacy expert” provides us with an example by investigating a post (which they do not offer any link to) made by Robert F Kennedy Jr on Instagram:

He copied Mr. Kennedy’s name in the Instagram post and popped it into Google. “Look how fast this is,” he told me as he counted the seconds out loud. In 15 seconds, he navigated to Wikipedia and scrolled through the introductory section of the page, highlighting with his cursor the last sentence, which reads that Mr. Kennedy is an anti-vaccine activist and a conspiracy theorist.

In short, the New York Times and their “expert” are telling us that instead of investigating the claims of someone that challenges the status quo and our understanding and perception of reality, we should instead avoid them and go directly to the authorities to tell us what to think.

Screen Shot Credit: Reuters

Considering the Wall Street Journal’s detailed investigation and an academic study both uncovering Google’s deliberate manipulation of search results (for which they have also been fined) and reports of organizations like the Vatican, CIA and FBI editing Wikipedia entries, this advice needs to be viewed with the highest suspicion for obvious reasons.

This is the Exact Opposite of How We Establish the Truth

Artist Credit Medi Belortaja

There is an expression that “rejecting something you know nothing about is the highest form of ignorance,” and that’s basically what the New York Times and their “digital literacy expert” are encouraging their followers to do. “Resist the lure of Rabbit Holes” and go to Google, where in just “15 seconds”, you can get the Truth from Wikipedia — It’s genuinely shocking to read this.

History is overwhelmed by examples that prove this method to be deeply flawed. Galileo Galilei, Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela, and countless others were attacked by the authorities for challenging the status quo. In fact, it could be argued that this has been a consistent theme throughout history and clearly represents that what the New York Times are encouraging us to do, is the exact opposite of establishing the Truth. No, it’s not a 15 second process, and no, you don’t mindlessly rely on the authorities to give you the Truth.

New York Times Has a Documented History of Spreading Dangerous Propaganda

Unsurprisingly, the New York Times has a well documented history of spreading dangerous propaganda and working with the authorities to uphold the status quo.

The CIA’s infamous Operation Mockingbird, which reportedly began in the late 40’s and continued into the 70’s, included the New York Times.

During the 1990’s, after journalist Gary Webb exposed how the CIA were working with drug traffickers, the New York Times and other establishment media outlets embarked on a campaign of character assassination claiming Webb was lying, when he was actually telling the Truth.

Correspondingly, in 2012 Glen Greenwald wrote an article on the “correspondence and collusion” between the CIA and the New York Times. In 2015, Professor Noam Chomsky wrote of how the news giant helped cover up war crimes for the U.S. government.

Frustrated Establishment Media No Longer Has a Monopoly on Information

Although this New York Time’s article is revolting, it’s also quite insightful as to how desperate some establishment media outlets have become in their efforts to control the narrative, which has grown more and more frivolous with the introduction of the internet where people such as myself can use verifiable evidence to expose how hypocritical and deceptive they are.

Please help share this because we all know the establishment is not going to expose themselves.
