Twitter Blacklists Former GOP Candidate Lauren Witzke for Condemning Sexualization of Minors


Lauren Witzke, the Republican 2020 candidate for a U.S. Senate seat in Delaware, has been blacklisted by Twitter after she denounced comments attributed to a transgender activist that called little girls “kinky.”

The ban, which appears to be permanent, was prompted by Witzke calling the statement “demonic.” The former Senate candidate posted a message from Twitter informing her that it considered the comment “hateful conduct.”

“The last tweet before they finally shut me down,” said Witzke. “Calling pedophiles demonic now violates twitter’s terms of service as “hateful content.” KEEP FIGHTING! It’s your job to pick up the torch and fight for what’s right!

The quote in question came from an alleged 2016 Facebook post attributed to self-described “gender nonconforming” and “transfeminine” activist Alok Vaid-Menon

The quote, an abridged version of a longer Facebook post allegedly made by Vaid-Menon in 2016, called little girls “kinky” and also claimed that “your kids aren’t as straight and narrow as you think.”

The post, and the Facebook page that published it, appear to have been scrubbed from the internet, with only screenshots and scattered references to it remaining.

Speaking on social network Telegram and messaging app, Witzke accused Twitter of changing its terms of service to protect pedophiles.

“Just found out that Twitter changed their terms of service to accommodate minor attracted individuals,” said Witzke. “Sexual predators get to stay, but Christians have to go.”

Twitter claims to have a “zero tolerance” policy against content that “any material that features or promotes child sexual exploitation.” Yet it banned Witzke, a former candidate for the U.S. Senate, for condemning exactly that.

Burger King’s ironic tweet — ‘Women belong in the kitchen’ —  becomes a nuclear public relations nightmare

An attempt to publicize a pro-woman campaign fell flat on its face when Burger King faced an online tsunami of outrage after attempting to twist a common sexist phrase.

Burger King announced a program meant to encourage and support women to seek culinary careers in order to combat the disproportionate gender representation in the restaurant industry.

They did that by tweeting this:

Feminists and others on the left instantly flew into a rage over the phrase often used to demean women.

But the tweet was followed up by two others that explained why the account was using the phrase in order to support women.

"If they want to, of course. Yet only 20% of chefs are women. We’re on a mission to change the gender ratio in the restaurant industry by empowering female employees with the opportunity to pursue a culinary career," the account added in a second tweet.

"We are proud to be launching a new scholarship programme which will help female Burger King employees pursue their culinary dreams!" they concluded.

Critics of the regal burger retailer ignored the explanation of their tweet and bashed them for using the sexist phrase, even if ironically.

"I think your agressive defense is ham-fisted at best. Your scholarship program is good, but the naked one-line tweet reiterating a sexist trope was a mistake. If women are telling you they are offended, who are you to say the tweet is not offensive?" asked actress Mira Sorvino.

"Attempting to hit a funny sarcastic stride was maybe not the move for this? Especially with the funny sarcastic phrase being identical to the funny sarcastic phrase misogynists use – it doesn’t take on a new meaning when you add a disclaimer after," responded Stef Sanjani, a video game streamer.

The company at first refused to back down and instead responded defensively against the criticism but later relented.

"We hear you. We got our initial tweet wrong and we’re sorry. Our aim was to draw attention to the fact that only 20% of professional chefs in UK kitchens are women and to help change that by awarding culinary scholarships. We will do better next time," they tweeted.

They also deleted the original tweet.

According to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), 2021 will be the second year in a row in which the federal debt exceeds Gross Domestic Product (GDP). CBO also projected that this year’s federal deficit will be 2.3 trillion dollars, which is 900 billion dollars less than last year. However, CBO’s projections do not include the 1.9 trillion dollars “stimulus” bill Congress is likely to pass.

The CBO’s report was largely ignored by Congress and the media. One reason the report did not get the attention it deserves is Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s continued commitment to making sure Fed policies enable Congress to spend as much as Congress deems necessary to address the economic fallout from the coronavirus panic.

As financial analyst Peter Schiff points out, the Fed’s commitment to ensuring the government can run up massive debt means the Fed will not allow interest rates to increase to anywhere near what they would be in a free market. This is because increasing interest rates would cause the federal government’s debt payments to rise to unsustainable levels. Yet, the Fed cannot admit it is going to keep rates near, or even below, zero indefinitely without unsettling the markets. So, the Fed continues to promise interest rate hikes in the future and the markets pretend to believe the Fed. When (or if) the lockdowns end, the Fed will find a new crisis justifying “temporarily” keeping interest rates low.

The Federal Reserve has not just endorsed massive federal spending, Fed Chairman Powell has also endorsed masks, vaccines, and social distancing to defeat the coronavirus and restore the economy. It is disappointing, but not surprising, to see the Fed go full Fauci.

The overreaction to coronavirus is a cause of the explosion in federal spending and debt we have witnessed over the last year. However, federal spending already greatly increased from January 2017 until the lockdowns. This spending growth occurred under a Republican president, a Republican Senate, and, from 2017 to 2019, a Republican House. One bright spot in Democratic control of the presidency and both houses of Congress is more Republicans will fight excessive spending and claim to be “deficit hawks.”

Republican hypocrisy in claiming to care about spending and debt only when a Democrat sits in the Oval Office is one reason why Democrats can so easily disregard debt. Another reason is the left’s embrace of Modern Monetary Theory. Modern Monetary Theory is the latest version of the fairy tale that politicians need not worry about debt and deficits as long as the central bank can monetize the federal debt.

Unless the government changes course, America will experience a crisis greater than the Great Depression. The crisis will include a final rejection of the dollar’s world reserve currency status. There will also be much increased price inflation. At that point Congress will have no choice but to limit spending, although it will try to hide cuts in popular entitlement programs by “adjusting” government measures of inflation. Congress could then blame the Fed for the reduction in value of government benefits.

Those who know the truth have two responsibilities. First, ensure they and their families are protected when the crash comes. Second, redouble efforts to spread the ideas of liberty and grow the liberty movement so politicians are pressured to cut spending and debt and to end the Fed.

Lauren Boebert: Let’s Rely on the Constitution Rather than Gun Control


Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) warned Monday that Democrats are going to talk a lot about gun control this week but she would prefer to just rely on the Constitution.

Her warning came on the start of a week in which House Democrats are poised to take up Whip James Clyburn’s (D-SC) “Charleston Loophole” gun control as well as Rep. Mike Thompson’s (D-CA) universal background check gun control.

And it should be noted Clyburn signaled last week his gun control is just a “first step.”

Amid this Democrat gun control push, and Clyburn’s intimation more may be coming, Boebert tweeted:

Boebert was elected in November 2020 on a pro-Second Amendment platform. On December 23, 2020, she ruffled Democrats’ feathers by assuring Breitbart News she would carry a gun for self-defense “each day” while in D.C.

On February 19, 2021, she trolled Democrats with a Zoom video in which an AR-15 and other long guns were visible on the shelf behind her. The video was part of a virtual meeting for the House Natural Resources Committee.

Now, she is signaling more gun control is not needed; that the Constitution is enough.

Illegal Aliens Involved in Fatal California Highway Crash Near US-Mexico Border Paid Up to $10,000 Each to be Smuggled

Last Monday, the SUV with about two dozen people crammed in it that was involved in a horrific crash with a tractor trailer in Holtville, California on Monday that killed over a dozen people was part of a cross-border smuggling operation according to sources within Customs and Border Patrol, Fox News reported.

The smugglers entered the US after a hole was cut in the border fence near Calexico, California.

Joe Biden reversed Trump’s “remain in Mexico” policy, promised amnesty, and allowed unaccompanied migrant children into the US which caused a surge of illegal border crossings in the last several weeks.

14 people, including the driver of the SUV died in the crash last week.

A total of 25 people were jammed into the SUV at the time of the crash.

According to a new report, each alien involved in the fatal crash paid up to $10,000 to be smuggled across the border.

The remaining survivors will be deported once they recover from their injuries unless they file an asylum claim.

Fox News reported:

The illegal immigrants who were involved in a fatal California highway crash last week reportedly paid up to $10,000 each to be smuggled across the U.S.-Mexico border.

13 of the passengers were killed. The remaining victims are still being treated for their wounds, but are likely to be deported once they recover – unless they file an asylum claim, according to the Daily Mail which was the first to report on their payments.

The immigrants paid between $5,000 and $10,000 to be smuggled across the border, with Guatemalan immigrants paying the highest fee. Their ages ranged from 15 to 53 and were a mix of males and females, officials said.

The blood is on the hands of open borders Joe Biden.
