Flashback: 1 Year Ago Fauci Said ‘People Should Not Be Walking Around with Masks’

He hasn’t had a consistent position since the pandemic started. Last month, Dr. Anthony Fauci, chief medical advisor to the President, told NBC News’ “TODAY” that double-masking is “common-sense.” Fauci clarified the next week, telling MSNBC, “There’s no recommendation, however, there are many people who take the common-sense approach.” He continued, “When the science comes…

Vote-by-Mail Just Got a Huge Boost with Biden’s Latest Executive Order

In the wake of the House’s passage of the H.R. 1, the House Democrats’ voting reform abomination, President Biden’s “phone and a pen” style of governance was on display again this weekend. Biden’s “Executive Order on Promoting Access to Voting” helped cement in place many of the voting changes used during the 2020 election season…

CNN’s Dr. Wen: Fully Vaccinated People ‘Should Be Able to Travel,’ CDC ‘Overly Cautious in a Way that Defies Common Sense’

On Monday’s “CNN Newsroom,” CNN Medical Analyst, ER physician, Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University Visiting Professor, and former Baltimore Health Commissioner Dr. Leana Wen criticized the CDC’s guidelines on what fully vaccinated individuals can do by saying that the advice that fully vaccinated individuals avoid traveling is “far overly cautious in a way that defies common sense.” And that she believes fully vaccinated individuals “should be able to travel, should be encouraged to travel.”

Wen said, “There is now growing evidence that getting the vaccines also reduces your likelihood of being a carrier. We don’t know exactly know how much this reduces that risk, but it’s probably substantially lower and that means maybe, in theory, you could be asymptomatic yourself, but could infect others, but that chance is still much lower. And so, that’s actually why I wish the CDC guidelines went a lot further than they actually did.”

Wen added that the CDC advising fully vaccinated individuals to avoid travel “is one of these examples where I think the CDC is being far overly cautious in a way that defies common sense. Because look at what they’re saying about quarantine. So, they’re saying that if somebody, knowingly, is exposed to an individual with COVID-19 and they’re fully vaccinated, they don’t need to test or get quarantined. If you’re sitting on a plane, you’re not necessarily sitting next to people with COVID-19, you’re wearing a mask, ideally, you’re keeping distanced. And so, it just doesn’t make sense that you can’t travel, especially if you now can get together with loved ones. I think a lot of people are eager to see their grandkids who they don’t necessarily live with. And so, I think it’s really important to give the guidance about travel. And I actually would go further and say that people who are fully vaccinated should be able to travel, should be encouraged to travel. And that’s one of those incentives that we can give as a way for restoring freedoms that you are now able to travel and go visit your loved ones and go to museums and cultural institutions once you’re fully vaccinated.”

FNC’s Dr. Makary: CDC Guidelines for Vaccinated People ‘Overly Restrictive’ – ‘Isolation Kills People’

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” Fox News Medical Contributor and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine Professor Dr. Marty Makary criticized the CDC’s guidelines as “overly restrictive” and stated that “Loneliness is a problem. Isolation kills people.”

Makary said, “I think they’re overly restrictive. I mean, to tell people who are fully vaccinated that they can’t travel just goes to show how overly excessive some of these policies are. And what appears to have happened is that there was some tension within the CDC as to how restrictive to be. These guidelines were supposed to come out on Thursday. They didn’t. They probably made a lot of changes, and some of those changes were good. But to tell vaccinated people they can only be with other vaccinated people and let down their guard then, or only be with a low-risk individual from one household, people need to get out there. Loneliness is a problem. Isolation kills people.”

He added, “I think guidance like this that’s overly excessive and restrictive, Martha, it hurts public health credibility.”

Gov. Kristi Noem says South Dakota celebrating International Women’s Day with bill banning biological males from girls’ sports

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem joined in Monday on a social media frenzy to recognize International Women’s Day, sending the message that her state was celebrating the occasion by passing legislation that will protect women’s sports by prohibiting biological males from competing with girls.

What are the details?

Noem tweeted out, "In South Dakota, we’re celebrating #InternationalWomensDay by defending women’s sports! I’m excited to sign this bill very soon."

The Republican governor linked to a message sent by the group American Principles, which proclaimed, "GREAT NEWS! The South Dakota Senate just passed the Women’s Fairness in Sports bill, 20-15. It now heads to @govkristinoem’s desk for signature."

The Hill reported that the bill, once signed into law, will "legally prevent any student at a state institution from joining a sports team that does not match their at-birth biological identity." The legislation would require "athletes in South Dakota state schools to provide information regarding their biological sex as well as their age and whether they are taking steroids."

The American Civil Liberties Union in South Dakota is not happy about the legislation, issuing a statement that said the bill "is an attack on transgender women and girls that will cause them serious emotional and physical harm."

"It prevents transgender women and girls from having the opportunity to play sports and have their personal dignity respected," the statement added.

Debate continues on transgender athletes

Biological males competing in girls’ sports has sparked a fierce debate in recent years as transgender athletes have dominated biological females in competitions. The situation has caused particular controversy in high school sports, where girls’ athletic records and college scholarships are on the line.

President Joe Biden signed an executive order calling on U.S. schools to allow transgender athletes to compete in the gender category with which they identify, dismissing biological women’s civil rights protections under Title IX. When pressed on the issue, White House press secretary Jen Psaki recently explained that "the president’s belief is that trans rights are human rights," Fox News reported.

But the White House and trans advocacy organizations have dismissed biological women’s civil rights in regard to the issue.

The ACLU, which purports to stand up for all those whose civil liberties are oppressed, is one of the groups that has selectively ignored biological female athletes’ civil liberties on the topic.

In the organization’s own tweet celebrating women on Monday, the ACLU tweeted, "On International Women’s Day, here’s your reminder that trans women are women."

RNC Tells Trump Attorneys to Shove It – They Will Continue to Use Trump’s Name to Fundraise and Have Every Right to – Update: President Trump responded within hours

Lawyers for former President Donald Trump sent a cease and desist letter to the Republican National Committee (RNC) over the weekend demanding that they stop using his name and likeness for fundraising efforts.

The letters were also sent to the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) and National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC).

This follows a report that Trump and his new campaign team are also cracking down on the use of the president’s name for fundraising

According to a scoop from Politico on Saturday, Trump wants the organizations to stop “using his name and likeness on fundraising emails and merchandise.”

On Monday the RNC responded and told Trump attorneys to stuff it — the Republican Party will continue to raise donations using Trump’s name!

The Boston Herald reported:

The Republican National Committee is defending its right to use former President Donald Trump’s name in fundraising appeals after he demanded they put an end to the practice.

In a Monday letter to Trump attorney Alex Cannon, RNC chief counsel J. Justin Riemer said the committee “has every right to refer to public figures as it engages in core, First Amendment-protected political speech” and said “it will continue to do so in pursuit of these common goals.”

But he maintained that Trump had also “reaffirmed” to the chair of the RNC, Ronna McDaniel, over the weekend “that he approves of the RNC’s current use of his name in fundraising and other materials, including for our upcoming donor retreat event at Palm Beach at which we look forward to him participating.”

Just think of all the small donors on fixed incomes who will think that they are helping Trump when instead they will be helping monsters like Mitch McConnell or Liz Cheney!

RNC tells Trump they will use his name to fundraise and have every right to! Outrageous!

Update: within hours President Trump asked his supporters to donate directly to his PAC and NOT to the RNC to benefit RINOs.

“The System Is Compromised” – Baltimore Man Receives 18 Unemployment Debit Cards

"The System Is Compromised" – Baltimore Man Receives 18 Unemployment Debit Cards

Maryland’s Department of Labor is investigating a bizarre unemployment insurance scam. A Baltimore-area man claims to have received at least 18 fraudulent unemployment insurance debit cards from "investors," according to local news station WMAR-2 News

"That’s one, that’s two, three, four. That’s five, that’s six, seven, eight. That’s a total of nine cards," said Dr. Keenan Cofield, who is a state lobbyist, a taxpayer – he said stuff like this makes him "cringe."

He told WMAR-2 News Mallory Sofastaii that a total of 18 unemployment debit cards were mailed to his address. He said the debit cards were individually sent to him but addressed to other people.

"Each one of them has a Visa card, each one of them has a name," Cofield said.

He was communicating with some people inline about the need for investors in a few of his projects. The Baltimore-area man said at least two people through a messenger app offered to invest with him.

"And things were moving on, and they said that the funding would be coming by cards. So, next thing I know, I see these strange-looking Maryland Department of Labor and Regulation unemployment. [There’s] nobody at this house with these names," said Cofield.

Cofield communicated with the investors through Google Hangouts. He shared 30 pages of the conversations with Sofastaii:

The sender wrote:

"Once cards are activated All you have to do is drive to an ATM machine and make withdraw sir"

The sender instructs Cofield to keep 60 percent of the balance on the various cards and send the other 40 percent back, which will be split between the sender and someone named Bryan.

Cofield asked whether this was fraud.

The sender replied:

"Sir believe me sir. this is not fraud sir ok. … Trust me It not a fraud sir"

Here’s more of the convo:

"They have not said which ones were which, but they said the minimum was $500 and at least two or three of those cards are $10,000," Cofield said.

Cofield said nobody in his household is unemployed and became suspicious of how the unemployment debit cards, loaded with a lot of taxpayers’ money, and in envelopes under the seal of "Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation.

What this is, as Cofield discovers, is a "money mule operation." In an operation like this, Cofield is the "go-between" entity that hands the dirty money then sends a certain portion back to the fraudsters.

"When I saw the Department of Labor and Licensing and Regulation unemployment, oh no, this is a scam. This is a big scam and this is a huge problem," he said.

Cofield has since contacted law enforcement about the money mule operation.

"It’s sad. Nobody knows where to go, so this is why I say guess what, Mallory is on this thing about unemployment, and that’s why I picked up, and that’s why we’re at Channel 2 now," said Cofield.

During the pandemic, State Police and the FBI have warned about increasing unemployment scams. The FBI ranks Maryland 5th in the country for "money mules" in 2019 despite being a highly prosperous state.

"The system is still messed up. There are people who have still not got their legitimate benefits. This lets you know not only somebody in that pile probably is missing their card, but the system is compromised," said Cofield.

Maryland’s Department of Labor expects to eliminate debit cards by April and switch to direct deposits.

On a national level, federal officials admitted that tens of billions of dollars in unemployment benefits were disbursed and squandered by fraudsters during the pandemic.

One fraudster, who made a million dollars in an elaborate unemployment scam in California, released a rap video about it.

As the plot thickens in the search for who the fraudsters are in Cofield’s case – he said one of the "investors" had a family member working at the Tennessee Bank of American Maryland Unemployment debit card processing center, according to Fox 5.

Fox 5 reports on the fraud:

Burger King’s ‘Woke’ Viral Tweet Backfires Horrendously

Burger King’s ‘Woke’ Viral Tweet Backfires Horrendously

Authored by Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,

A tweet posted by Burger King which said “women belong in the kitchen” that was meant to be a woke virtue signal to mark International Women’s Day backfired horrendously.

The fast food giant followed up the tweet with a second that read:

“If they want to, of course. Yet only 20% of chefs are women. We’re on a mission to change the gender ratio in the restaurant industry by empowering female employees with the opportunity to pursue a culinary career.”

However, the fact that the explanatory text was not included in the first tweet just made it look to many as though Burger King was regurgitating a sexist trope.

[ZH: We note that both tweets have since been deleted]

Looks like they forgot to delete their Facebook post:

Perhaps forgetting that the woke mob displays ruthless intolerance to humor or nuance, the company faced an immediate backlash before ‘Burger Queen’ began trending, with Twitter users demanding a name change as an apology for causing offense.

Others called for a boycott, including this woman whose tweet received over 22,000 likes.

“Burger King belongs in a trashcan,” said another verified liberal.

Others pointed out the irony of women in the kitchen only being acceptable in 2021 if those women are wage slaves for giant transnational corporations, with traditional family gender roles frowned upon.
