Married School Teacher, 22, Arrested For Having Sex With Teen Student

On Wednesday, a married 22-year-old teacher from Oklahoma was arrested for allegedly having sex with a male teenage student.

Yukon High School science teacher Hunter Day was arrested on charges of second-degree rape, possession of child pornography, and facilitating sexual contact with a minor by the Canadian County Sheriff’s Department, according to Fox News.

The authorities were made aware of the alleged relationship after the student’s parents found explicit text messages and photos from Day in their son’s phone.

Day is said to be married to the school’s football coach.

According to reporting from local news station KWTV, Day was caught when officers posed as the boy via text message and told the teacher he had arrived at her house for their meet-up.

“The doors [sic] unlocked as usual,” the teacher responded via text.

“When investigators entered the home, Day was sitting on the floor of her living room with candles lit and all of the lights off, authorities said. She was also reportedly wearing a Christmas cat T-shirt and workout shorts,” reports Fox.

Day admitted to authorities that she had received photos of the boy’s genitals and that she has sent “bra and panty” photos to the minor.

“I’m no longer surprised by the people who commit these crimes, because predators come from all walks of life,” said Canadian County Sheriff Chris West.

“This is a classic case of a serious breach of public trust,” he added. “Schoolteachers are entrusted to protect and educate our children, not to engage in an unlawful sexual relationship with them.”

The official Twitter account for Yukon Public Schools released a statement on the disturbing matter on Thursday. “[T]he safety and well-being of our students is our number one priority,” read the statement.

Day is on bond for $85,000 and remains incarcerated at the Canadian County Jail.

NY Times Reporter Asks Twitter What It Will do About Videos of Joe Biden Sexually Assaulting Girls

NY Times Reporter Asks Twitter What It Will do About Videos of Joe Biden Sexually Assaulting Girls

New York Times reporter Nicole Perlroth asked Twitter what the site intends to do about reports being tweeted based on C-SPAN videos that former Vice President Biden is a serial child molester.

Then-Vice President Joe Biden gropes the breast of a girl child relative of Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) at a ceremonial swearing-in at the Capitol, January 6, 2015.

Perlroth posted several tweets about the matter starting Tuesday in response to a Twitter thread by Richard Armande Mills.

Mill’s posted a thread on Monday starting with, “It’s time to talk about former Vice President Joe Biden, the open sexual predator. A thread/moment…”, and proceeded to post several C-SPAN video clips of Biden fondling girls.

The Gateway Pundit found those videos independently of Mills and reported on some of the more egregious Biden sex assaults on children in two articles. However Mills deserves the credit for getting people to focus this week on Biden’s behavior.

And

Video: Joe Biden Repeatedly Grinds His Crotch on 6-Year-Old Daughter of Kelly Ayotte at 2011 Senate Ceremony

Perlroth wrote, “In the past 24 hours, a new alt-right fake news meme had emerged of Biden as predator. How will @twitter handle?” Followed with, “The fake news Biden meme is being propagated by Twitter accounts like @kchenette tweeting/retweeting pro-Russian propaganda (like false Magnitsky conspiracy theories).” And concluded with, “I watched a dozen videos of the Vice President, on camera, being sweet and affectionate towards children in public spaces. To conflate that with anything “predatory” is vulgar, insulting to real sexual assault victims everywhere. #MeToo”

Comedian, actor and filmmaker Seth Rogen responded Wednesday to Perlroth, and his seven million Twitter followers, lamenting that Twitter will not censor people tweeting about C-SPAN videos of Biden molesting girls, “Twitter has no regulations against spreading false allegations like this. I’ve asked.”

Rogen deleted the tweet as this article was being written. A request via Twitter for comment from Rogen was not received by publication.

If Perlroth and Rogen viewed the videos TGP has reported about with an open mind (or pretended Biden was a pro-life Republican) they would be hard pressed to not view Biden as a serial child molester.

C-SPAN video from January 5, 2011 of Biden fondling and repeatedly pressing his crotch against the six-year-old daughter of Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH).

C-SPAN video from January 6, 2015 shows Biden molesting several children during the ceremonial swearing-in.

NOTE: Each embedded video is set to start at a different point even if from the same video, with the exception of the ending C-SPAN video. Also, both videos are labeled ‘Pizzagate’ by their respective posters. TGP is not accusing Biden of being part of any alleged Pizzagate scandal or child abuse network, nor is TGP responsible for any other videos or viewpoints of the video posters.)

Congressmen exposing their genitals on the House floor—getting to go unnamed

Congressman exposing their genitals on the House floor
Anthony Weiner is in the slammer for exposing his genitals via Internet photos,  but congressmen who expose their genitals and grab private parts—on the House floor—not only get away with it but get the privilege of going unnamed.

Genital-exposing politicians (GEP, for short) are said to come from both the Democrat and Republican parties, and, incredibly find protection in the system as it stands.

ESPN’s Jemele Hill Refuses To Give Trump Credit For Freeing Black UCLA Players

The cat has her tongue.

Via Daily Caller:

ESPN’s Jemele Hill didn’t give any credit to President Donald Trump for intervening on behalf of three black UCLA basketball players in Chinese custody.

LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill were released Tuesday morning after they’d been arrested for allegedly stealing from a Louis Vuitton store. Trump personally asked Chinese President Xi Jinping to get involved, and less than 24 hours later the players were set free.

Hill didn’t have much to say, which is really surprising because she once claimed Trump was a white supremacist.

Instead of offering any credit at all, she simply responded, “Not really. 1) I’m off today 2) reporting facts isn’t stressful,” to a tweet saying she was in for a stressful day after the players were released.

College Football Thug Expelled After He Sucker Punches White Coach on Sidelines

A shocking incident that isn’t getting much media attention, a black college football player sucker punched a white coach in the head during a football game over the weekend.

Ohio Valley Conference team Tennessee State University was playing the Southeastern Missouri Redhawks on Saturday when defensive lineman Latrelle Lee clocked the Tigers’ strength and conditioning coach twice.

The incident was captured on video:

Lee’s violent outburst led to his immediate dismissal from the team as well as his expulsion from the school – criminal charges could be coming soon as well.

The Nashville Tennessean reports “Tennessee State football player punches coach on the sideline, gets kicked off the team”:

Tennessee State defensive end Latrelle Lee was dismissed from the team and expelled from school Saturday night after he hit Tigers head strength coach T.J. Greenstone twice in the head and knocked him to the turf on the sideline.

TSU athletics director Teresa Phillips confirmed to The Tennessean that coach Rod Reed kicked Lee, a senior from Dothan, Ala., off the team.

Lee, 22, was expelled from the university on Monday.

The incident occurred during the Tigers’ game against Southeast Missouri at Hale Stadium. TSU won the game 23-20.

During games, Greenstone, a former Vanderbilt football player, is charged with keeping players who aren’t in the game from getting too close to the sideline to avoid a penalty.

The Tigers offense was on the field at the time as Greenstone walked down the sideline telling players to move back if they were too close. Lee is seen in videos hitting Greenstone twice on the side of his head.

Greenstone falls to the ground after being punched.

Lee, 6-foot-2, 240 pounds, was majoring in criminal justice. In 2016 he made the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

It was an outrageously violent act that not only shows a lack of discipline from the player but one has to wonder whether it was racially motivated as well considering the heightened racial tensions in America thanks to the Democrats, militant identity groups like Black Lives Matter and a culture that glorifies bums like Colin Kaepernick.

Whatever the case may be, the media is staying away from this story despite its clearly being newsworthy.

That would not be the case if it was a white player punching out a black coach. Hypocrisy reigns.

PAPER: What Hillary Clinton Knew About African Slave Auctions & Genocidal Death Squads

PAPER: What Hillary Clinton Knew About African Slave Auctions & Genocidal Death Squads

From the Uranium One scandal to rigging the Democrat primary race in 2016, Hillary Clinton is up to her ears in corruption. Underneath the surface is a little known scandal about what Clinton knew concerning Libya’s thriving slave trade and genocidal death squads.

Zerohedge reports:

A new CNN investigation has uncovered a network of slave markets operating in warehouses in various cities across Libya six years after NATO-led intervention in the country toppled the government of Muammar Gaddafi in support of US and UK backed rebels. And not only did CNN confirm the presence of slave auctions where human beings are being sold for as little as $400 in “liberated” Libyabut CNN’s crew was actually able to film a live auction in progress, while also gathering the testimonies of multiple victims.

Though CNN’s footage and accompanying report is shocking, such practices have been quietly documented for years, and clear warnings were issued starting in early 2011 that Libya’s black as well as migrant population would be the first to fall victim at the hands of the Islamist Libyan rebels that NATO’s war empowered. From the outset critics of Western intervention in Libya loudly sounded the alarm of a genocide against black Libyans in progress committed by the very rebels the US, UK, France, and Gulf allies were arming – a fact so well-known that then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was personally briefed and warned on the matter.

[…]

One of the few international correspondents to actually report the truth in real time while writing from inside Libya was The Independent’s (UK) Patrick Cockburn. In an August 2011 story he wrote as if attempting to warn the world about the future war crimes to come at the hands of the US-backed rebels.

“The rotting bodies of 30 men, almost all black and many handcuffed, slaughtered as they lay on stretchers and even in an ambulance in central Tripoli, are an ominous foretaste of what might be Libya’s future. The incoming regime makes pious statements about taking no revenge on pro-Gaddafi forces, but this stops short of protecting those who can be labelled mercenaries. Any Libyan with a black skin accused of fighting for the old regime may have a poor chance of survival,” reported Independent UK reporter Patrick Cockburn.

Libya is not the only country where this is happening…

Public slave markets are parting out human beings from West Africa for up to $500 with some being held for ransom while others are forced into labor roles or are sexually exploited.

Armed networks round up the individuals and facilitate the eventual enslavement. Once purchased the usual route for a modern day slave ends with becoming a day laborer working in agriculture or construction.

As migrants continue to pour into Europe – with no sign of stopping anytime soon – the danger now is in keeping your nation safe from this mass exodus of displaced people.

Zerohedge has more:

The answer lies in a March 27, 2011, intelligence brief on Libya published by WikiLeaks. The brief, which was made public in 2015 as part of a large batch of Hillary emails released by the State Department, was sent by long time close adviser to the Clinton family and Hillary’s personal intelligence gatherer, Sidney Blumenthal, and contains clear reference to rebels summarily executing “all foreign mercenaries” – which had already become the common euphemism for black Libyans then being targeted by the US-supported rebels.

Citing a rebel commander source “speaking in strict confidence” Blumenthal reports to Hillary:

[…]

Source Comment: Speaking in strict confidence, one rebel commander stated that his troopscontinue to summarily execute all foreign mercenaries captured in the fighting…

[…]

But even years later, as such race-based war crimes have now been exhaustively documented, Hillary has consistently indicated that she has no regrets. Though her beloved Libyan rebels, legitimized and empowered through broad support from the West, were literally killing people based on the color of their skin, not a single one has ever been convicted in a court of law or punished for their crimes.

What Clinton knew about the African slave trade and death squads is even more shocking in the context of how badly the former Secretary of State managed the removal of Gaddafi and the Benghazi attack.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Joe Hoft reported, the ‘tick tock’ emails show Hillary’s team taking credit for many actions that led to Gaddafi’s toppling in Libya, including, but not limited to: suspending the operations of the Libyan embassy in Washington; evacuating US embassy personnel in Tripoli and closing the embassy there; obtaining sanctions against Gaddafi and his family; working to suspend Libya from the Human Rights Council; appointing Special Envoy Chris Stevens to be the U.S. representative to Benghazi; engaging with UAE, Qatar, and Jordan to seek their participation in coalition operations; holding meetings with House Democrats and Senate Republicans to persuade them not to de-fund the Libya operation; an lastly, Hillary’s State Department worked to construct a $1.5 billion assets package to the TNC.

The Clinton State Department took credit for being the architect behind the overthrow of Gaddafi in Libya and the subsequent horror as a result.

Now new information released earlier this week and reported at Infowars revealed that a peace deal was worked out in Libya in 2011 but when presented to Hillary, she nixed it.

According to the report, General Clark, who was part of the negotiations, was so pleased with the outcome that he personally arranged a teleconference with Hillary Clinton on the line to congratulate those who put the deal together for “getting the job done in the face of such danger.” But there was a problem. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton didn’t want peace.

As a result the war went on and Hillary’s actions in Libya resulted in the eventual death of four Americans in Benghazi, including Chris Stevens.

Congress, Trump Admin Push Cutting Off U.S. Aid to Palestinians, Iranian-Tied Terrorists

Congressional leaders advanced several key pieces of legislation on Wednesday that would cut off U.S. taxpayer aid to the Palestinians and crackdown on Iran’s financial support for the terror group Hamas, legislative efforts that are being helped along by the Trump administration, according to multiple U.S. officials who spoke to the Washington Free Beacon.

The House Foreign Affairs Committee, in a bipartisan vote, approved three pieces of legislation that will cut off U.S. aid to the Palestinian government and help prevent American businesses from doing business with Hamas and other Iranian-tied terror groups.

One of the bills, the Taylor Force Act, which would slash U.S. aid to the Palestinians until they stop using the money to pay salaries to imprisoned terrorists and their families, received support from the White House, which is said to have played a central role in ensuring the proposed legislation garnered bipartisan support.

The new bills are said to be part of a larger effort by congressional leaders to shutdown longstanding U.S. aid programs that have supported terrorist fighters and organizations across the Middle East. The advancement of the Taylor Force Act and these other bills is meant to send a message that the United States will no longer keep its coffers open to those who enable terrorism against Israel and U.S. allies in the region.

The Taylor Force Act, which has been working its way through Congress for some time, has become the centerpiece of the joint effort by Congress and the Trump administration to rein in Palestinian intransigence, U.S. officials told the Free Beacon.

"The Trump administration strongly supports the Taylor Force Act, and the White House has communicated that support to Congress and in public statements," Victoria Coates, a senior White House National Security Council member who played a central role in pushing the legislation, told the Free Beacon.

Coates said that recent reports alleging the Trump administration sought to water down the bill in order to avoid upsetting the Palestinian government and negatively impacting diplomatic efforts to restart the Israeli-Palestinian peace process are false.

"Reports to the contrary, including that anyone at the White House tried to water this legislation down, are false," Coates maintained. "Palestinian Authority payments to terrorists and their families that incentivize violence are unacceptable, and must stop."

Cutting off U.S. aid that helps support Palestinian terrorists is just one part of an effort by the Trump administration to help reform the Palestinian government and legitimize its leaders.

"We also believe that economic development in the West Bank and Gaza Strip can play an important role in preparing the region for a lasting peace agreement," Coates aid.  "To this end, we have invested and encouraged other partners to invest in critical infrastructure that will underpin economic growth, including through partnerships with local governments, the private sector, and a wide range of other partners."

The Trump administration reprogrammed $13 million last month to help support a waste-water treatment facility in the Palestinian-controlled city of Jericho, according to Coates, who said this money will help Palestinian farmers support their crops.

"At the president’s direction we want to continue this important work," Coates said. "But all of our partners must be engaged in building a foundation for peace, not for continued incitement and violence."

In addition to the Taylor Force Act, House lawmakers on the Foreign Affairs Committee approved a new bill that would require the U.S. government to expose the identities of foreign states, individuals, and other actors who have provided material support to Hamas and other Palestinian terror groups.

The proposed legislation—which would pave the way for the United States to suspend aid and seize the assets of any foreign entity found to be financially helping these terror groups—is said to be part of an effort to combat Iran’s efforts to forge closer ties with Hamas, Hezbollah, and other anti-Israel terrorist actors.

A third bill that made its way out of the committee seeks to crackdown on Hamas’ use of human shields in battle. The legislation would, "hold Hamas and its sponsor, Iran, accountable for this monstrous practice," according to Rep. Ed Royce (R, Calif.), the committee’s chairman.

Rep. Brian Mast (R., Fla.), a U.S. combat veteran and architect of the bill to expose Hamas’ financial backers, told the Free Beacon that Congress is pursuing every avenue to strangle Iran’s financial lifelines.

"A lot of the impetus is Iran," Mast told the Free Beacon.

"The term often used is Iranian proxies. But that’s the wrong term to use. It really needs to be classified as Iranian colonization of the Middle East," Mast said, explaining that Iran’s presence can be seen among every bad actor in the region. "This is colonization. They have a very long-term view. Hezbollah has been at this for 30 plus years. They have a long term goal and its colonization."

Mast also expressed support for the Taylor Force Act, which he said does not go far enough in cutting off U.S. aid to the Palestinians.

If Mast had his way, "there wouldn’t be resources going towards Palestinians labeled aid or anything else."

"To think we’re going to take a dollar out of somebody’s pocket here and send it over there to somebody’s family because they went out there and bombed a boss of shot somebody, or ran somebody over with a car, that goes way beyond the realm of common sense," Mast said.

Rep. Doug Lamborn (R., Colo.), another backer of cutting U.S. aid that helps Palestinian terrorists, expressed optimism about the prospect of the full Congress passing the legislation.

"I am very pleased that the House Foreign Affairs Committee was able to pass the Taylor Force Act with bipartisan support," Lamborn said. "This is an important first step in stopping U.S. tax dollars from funding Palestinian terrorism."

"The next step is to bring it to the House floor and ultimately send it to the president’s desk," Lamborn said. "Passing the Taylor Force Act is the moral and right thing to do in a world that is riddled with terrorism, it sends an important message to the world: America will not tolerate foreign entities that receive U.S. aid to finance terrorism."

MUST WATCH: ‘An Open Secret’ Documentary Explores Hollywood’s Nefarious Pedophile Ring

Now that movie mogul Harvey Weinstein’s “open secret” has been laid bare before the judging eyes of the American public, attention has shifted back onto another Hollywood “open secret” that has yet to have its day of reckoning: the nefarious pedophile ring that has allegedly operated within the entertainment industry since the early 1980s.

In 2014, Oscar-nominated filmmaker Amy Berg brilliantly explored the horrific underbelly of Hollywood that preys upon innocent children. Despite rave reviews, her documentary “An Open Secret” mysteriously never garnered distribution and was universally rejected from the film festival circuit.

For the past three years, the film has since survived on the internet and earned a steady stream of viewers. However, amidst the Harvey Weinstein scandal, and a renewed interest in Corey Feldman’s claims that he was a victim of the alleged pedophile ring, a resumed interest has circled back onto the documentary, giving it new life.

To honor the victims of these horrific crimes, the film’s producer Gabe Hoffman has made the film available entirely for free on VIMEO.

“It’s so funny to keep seeing headlines about how Harvey’s abuse was ‘an open secret’ in Hollywood, and that’s the name of our film,” Hoffman told The Hollywood Reporter.

“We haven’t got any offers from major distributors yet because Hollywood doesn’t want to expose its dirty laundry, so we’ve been sitting on this for a while. Now, we want to celebrate the brave women who have exposed Harvey,” he said.

“Harvey Weinstein, by the way, is not the only one who has used confidentiality settlements. That’s why more of Hollywood’s behavior hasn’t been exposed. This is the tip of the iceberg.”

The film details nefarious happenings within the Digital Entertainment Network (DEN), an early-2000’s experiment in internet entertainment. Among DEN’s investors were the likes of Dreamworks co-founder David Geffen and “X-Men” director Bryan Singer, whose alleged sexual misconduct has been discussed several times on this site in the past few weeks.

As noted by THR, “DEN was a producer of five-minute videos for web consumption, but it’s best remembered today for hosting wild parties with drugs, alcohol and underage boys at the former residence of founder, Marc Collins-Rector, now a registered sex offender.”

The documentary also profiles talent manager Marty Weiss, who went on to plead no contest to lewd acts on a child, and Bob Villard, who previously represented Leonardo DiCaprio and also pleaded no contest to lewd acts with a child. Corey Feldman has named Marty Weiss as being among his abusers.

WALSH: NBC News Says It’s Immoral To Have Kids. Here Are 6 Reasons Why That’s Insane.

NBC News just posted a lengthy opinion piece explaining why it’s “morally suspect” to have kids. It argues that human beings are bad for the Earth — what with our carbon emissions, and our pollution, and the electricity that was used to write and publish an article complaining about carbon emissions and pollution, etc. — and the only appropriate response is to have fewer children.

The author, an alleged “bioethicist” and confirmed maniac named Travis Rieder, compares having offspring to freeing a murderer from prison (no, seriously). He says that you would be morally responsible for the future murders the escaped convict commits, just as you’re morally responsible for the carbon emissions your daughter emits. When your daughter breathes, selfishly, and melts an ice cap, and a whole family of polar bears drown in the icy depths, you’re on the hook, pal. Having one child is tantamount to directly murdering probably 12 polar bears or so, if I have my math right. My wife and I have already slaughtered 36 polar bears according to this equation I just made up. We can’t get enough of it. It’s pretty disturbing, really, how much we love murdering polar bears.

Rieder admits that his view may seem a tad extreme to some of you, but that’s only because you’re a bunch of dumb, backwards hicks and your “moral psychology hasn’t evolved” enough to understand and appreciate the brilliance of Travis Rieder. I’m not sure that the term “moral psychology” actually means anything, strictly speaking, but that’s probably because I’m a dumb, backwards hick, too.

Now, it wouldn’t be worth responding to the ravings of this self-loathing madman, except that the ravings were published by a major news organization, and he’s articulating an idea that has many proponents on the Left. Whether or not they’d go so far as to compare childbirth to releasing a serial killer from prison, many of them believe that having “too many kids” is ethically dubious. I’d like to take a few moments and explain why this view is extremely stupid. There are many more than six reasons but I’ll just focus on these six:

1. Overpopulation is a myth.

This all hinges on the obviously absurd notion that the Earth has some sort of max capacity for human life, and we’ve almost reached it or already exceeded it. The overpopulation myth is just that: a myth. It was invented out of thin air a few decades ago, around the time that environmentalists and eugenicists were telling us about the imminent ice age, which apparently came and went and destroyed mankind without any of us noticing.

In reality, the Earth really has no carrying capacity. Or, if it does, we’ll never get close to it. As it stands, we have enough room to fit the entire population of the world into Texas and enough resources to feed them all three times over. It’s not a coincidence that articles about overpopulation always come accompanied by images of people in Manhattan or Tokyo all crammed together in a train or on a sidewalk. For some reason, they never show you the vast swaths of fertile land where nobody currently lives. They never show you North Dakota or rural China. It’s our choice not to live in North Dakota. Perhaps our cities have a population limit — and even that limit is quite flexible — but the Earth is enormous and ancient and resilient, and it can handle us. All of us.

2. Man-made climate change is a myth.

Climate change was supposed to have already brought about the extinction of the human race several times by now. It hasn’t, probably because climate change isn’t that big of a deal. The Earth has warmed very slightly over the past century and half, it has now stopped warming, and there’s no real evidence that human beings contributed to it in any significant way. It’s probably for this reason that there really is no “scientific consensus” on climate change and never was.

3. Human beings are not commodities.

The first two points don’t matter all that much. I’m sorry for wasting your time with them. Even if it could be proven that an “excess” of children may lead to this or that problematic outcome, it still would not be morally justified to treat children as if they can be in “excess.”

Either we believe that human life is sacred, and each life holds infinite value, or we don’t. If we don’t, then I’m not sure why we’re having this conversation or any conversation. Life is meaningless, therefore the polar bears and the trees and all the fish in the sea are meaningless, therefore the Earth is meaningless, therefore we may as well kill ourselves and escape this painful nothingness of existence. Certainly, if human life has no intrinsic value then we shouldn’t bother ourselves by worrying about silly things like murder, rape, and so forth. Who cares what one worthless, accidental clump of matter does to another? It’s all the same in the end. It is only possible and sensible to continue this conversation if we agree that life has value, and that its value is inherent.

So, if we are moving forward with that understanding, we must agree that each life is worth the trouble it may supposedly, potentially, cause. Life is not a thing that can be measured, counted, or rationed, even by a bioethicist with a PhD and a arsenal of smart-sounding phrases that don’t mean anything. Life transcends all of that. If it does not, suicide is the only sensible course of action.

4. Speaking of which, why hasn’t Rieder availed himself of that option?

It’s fascinating to note that those who worry about overpopulation never seem to put themselves in the “over” category. But if a person truly believed that the surplus of humanity on Earth has become a moral crisis, is that person not morally obliged to minimize that surplus in the only way he really can? Yet Travis Rieder continues to breathe, annihilating another polar bear family as we speak, refusing to lead by example. It’s unconscionable.

Let me stipulate that I am not sincerely advocating suicide. I’m only demonstrating the insincerity of Travis Rieder’s position. For the record, I hope he lives a long life — I just hope he gets a clue at some point during that process.

5. By the way, why are we still trying to save the panda bears?

I can’t make sense of this. On the one hand, environmentalists tell us that carbon emissions are destroying the planet and we must have fewer children to address the epidemic, but on the other hand they say that we must do everything we can to stave off the extinction of pandas and koalas and other effectively useless species who seem to want very badly to die off. We’re basically forcing pandas to have sex, we’re so desperate to keep them around. Why? They emit carbon too, don’t they? Why are humans the ones who need to embrace extinction? If there are “too many” biological creatures on Earth, and if we need to curb the expansion of this horrid disease called life, why wouldn’t we start with the creatures who are near extinction anyway, and who have less value than human beings?

All I’m saying is don’t tell me to have fewer kids while you’re out there artificially inseminating koala bears, for God’s sake.

6. It’s called selfishness.

What lies at the foundation of these attempts to make procreation seem irresponsible, besides nihilism, is selfishness. Rather than admit that they decided not to have kids due to their own materialism and greed, environmentally conscious Leftists have latched onto this rationale. It’s all nonsense, of course.

The “morally suspect” thing is to forgo raising a family in favor of pricier vacations and nicer home furnishings. Their attempt to make their shallow, self-interested lifestyle seem noble is pitifully unconvincing. Especially because this excuse is usually trotted out by well off liberals who rarely follow up their “sacrifice” of not having kids by sacrificing any of the wasteful luxuries their childless life now affords them. Oddly, they were so concerned about the planet that they bypassed procreation, but not so concerned that they bypassed that trip to the Bahamas, or that third car they don’t need, or the eighth pair of shoes in their closet, or the TV in the guestroom nobody sleeps in.

Strange how “sacrifice” works with these types.

Quick! We must de-gender the romance languages

I’ve read this story twice today and I still can’t decide if this is a feminist thing or a transgender thing. Either way, if one group is making use of it today the other will no doubt pick up on the cause tomorrow. The “problem” being addressed is the fact that the French language isn’t gender neutral. And in fact it’s been heavily “gendered” as far back as we have records of people speaking French. But this is the era of the rejection of gender norms (and much of biology) so something has to be done about it.

By way of disclosure, I don’t speak French. It came down to a coin toss in school and I wound up taking Spanish, but there are plenty of similarities along these lines with all the romance languages. At issue here are the endless examples of gender-specific words applying to people as well as the inherent gender of plants, animals and inanimate objects. In Spanish, a female doctor is la medica or la doctora. A male doctor is el medico or el doctoro. In French, the job title of a movie director is directeur in the masculine, and directrice in the feminine.

Of course, this won’t do in 2017. Someone needs to rip the gender references out of this ancient language and a movement is on to do just that. And it’s being led by Éliane Viennot, a professor of literature and language who has been fighting for the feminist cause since the 80s. (PRI)

Three decades after my classmates and I unquestioningly absorbed this rule, however, a new grammar manual released earlier this year by the Hatier publishing house has plunged France into a heated debate over gender-inclusive writing. The new handbook sets forth a method of writing plurals that include both feminine and masculine endings, separated by dots. The gender-neutral plural for director, then, is directeur·rice·s, according to the manual.

At best, this form of inclusive writing is a way to dismantle the patriarchy through a bloodless spelling revolution. At worst, it makes the language of love look like algebra.

So it’s come to this. The French language now needs to be reformed after millennia so standard words will have a series of dots embedded in them just to be sure that no one is confused as to whether Angelina Jolie is a man or a woman when she goes up on stage to accept her next Palme d’Or at Cannes.

It can’t stop there, though, can it? As I mentioned above, it’s not just titles which have a gender associated with them. Reverting back to Spanish for a moment, let’s remember that physical locations are also gendered. The bathroom is baño (masculine) while the shoe store is zapatería (feminine). From an Archie Bunker era perspective those probably make perfect sense, but can you imagine the outrage when a transgender person who has decided they are female winds up having to use a ladies room with a masculine name? Somebody needs to be arrested for this.

Let’s just throw in the towel now. We’ll need an entirely new language which everyone in the world will be forced to learn. Biology can no longer be taught in schools because there won’t be words to describe several fundamental concepts which are at the core of that science. A global lottery can be established which will select who each of you is allowed to date and perhaps marry (assuming marriage is still legal), totally at random in terms of gender because we wouldn’t want to be biased. Then, citizens, we shall finally have achieved true equality and established paradise on Earth.

As for me, I’ll be locked in my bomb shelter with five hundred cases of Hendricks.

Update (Ed): As for me, I’ll stick with Irish, which I’ve begun to study again. It also has gendered nouns, but who’s going to be able to tell? Heck, I used to be conversational in it, and I still can’t tell. Once the whole world speaks Irish, the problem will be solved, surely. Más cam nó díreach an ród, ‘s é an bothar mór an t-aicearra.
