Father Of Black Teen Killed In CHOP: It’s Time To Bring In The National Guard

Horace Lorenzo Anderson, the father of a 19-year-old black teen shot and killed inside Seattle’s Capitol Hill Occupied Protest (CHOP) is speaking out and demanding the city bring in the National Guard to help break up the increasingly violent protest, now in its third week.

Horace Lorenzo Anderson, Jr., was the first person killed in CHOP, more than a week ago, during an outbreak of gun violence inside of the “autonomous zone.”

Anderson’s father, Anderson, Sr., spoke late Monday, after another black teen, this time a 16-year old, was killed in the CHOP over the weekend, and a 14-year-old left wounded.

“I ain’t been sleeping. You see my eyes. I’ve been crying. I’m trying not to cry on TV,” Anderson said in the Monday press conference, according to KIRO Seattle.

“This doesn’t look like a protest to me no more,” said Anderson. “That just looks like they just took over and said we can take over whenever we want to.”

Since last week, at least two people have been killed and several others wounded in CHOP gun violence. And although Seattle’s mayor Jenny Durkan has pledged to bring an end to the demonstration, which is occupying six square blocks of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, including the Seattle Police Department’s East Precinct, many believe Durkan is sympathetic to the plight of protesters and reticent to use force.

Anderson, to the contrary, says that if the city cannot break up the protest alone, officials should bring in the National Guard.

“They should deployed them here to say ‘Man, it’s time to go,’” Anderson said. ” ‘It’s time to move on. And break this up.’”

Seattle Chief Carmen Best, also present at the press conference, challenged the mayor to assist the police in moving the demonstration out.

“I’m not going to let the detractors and the naysayers and the agitators be the ones that are the voice here,” she said of the Capitol Hill situation as protesters jeered her from afar. “There are people who live here. There are multiple people who are being injured and hurt. And we need to do something about it. It is absolutely irresponsible for this discontent to continue.”

So far, though, KIRO reports, the mayor has done little but issue strongly-worded pleas for protesters to vacate Capitol Hill and promising city social services to those who have nowhere else to go or are suffering from addiction or mental health issues.

A federal lawsuit, filed against the city of Seattle last week by long-term Capitol Hill residents and small business owners, alleges that the city has deliberately allowed CHOP — and its inherent lawlessness — to flourish.

For their part, protesters say they have no plans to leave, even though CHOP’s leadership has called for a transition to “virtual activism.” On Friday, the city’s public works department tried to remove signs marking CHOP’s borders but were turned away by angry demonstrators who even staged a “die-in” to block construction equipment from moving concrete barriers.

Obama admits it: Riots and protests are ‘tailor-made’ for electing Joe Biden

Joe Biden is hiding in his basement, but maybe that’s because the rabid-left looters, rioters and protestors are carrying out his presidential campaign just fine for him.

What else can be concluded but that, given that President Obama has cynically admitted that the civil unrest covering the U.S. is “tailor-made” for electing Joe Biden?

Here’s a report from National Review:

Former President Barack Obama told aides this month that the nationwide protests following the death of George Floyd are “a tailor-made moment” to help his former vice president Joe Biden defeat Donald Trump in November.

According to a New York Times story based on interviews with more than 50 Obama confidants, the former president was made anxious after riots and looting rocked many American cities in the days following Floyd’s death and Trump began trumpeting “law and order” in response.

“Let’s not excuse violence, or rationalize it, or participate in it. If we want our criminal justice system, and American society at large, to operate on a higher ethical code, then we have to model that code ourselves,” Obama wrote in a Medium post earlier this month.

But Obama’s confidence has since grown as the protests have continued and Trump’s polling numbers have dipped

So in other words, more riots, more votes for Biden. Perhaps the idea is to beat the public down to such an extent that it feels that only a Democrat can solve it. Perhaps he sees in the polls that the public is blaming Trump.

The New York Times reported just a couple days ago that Obama is obsessed with ousting President Trump. That being the case, it’s not unlikely that he will continue with his old Alinsky training, to oust Trump by any means necessary.

If riots will do it, Obama and his Democrats, will be happy with more riots. Even the New York Times admitted that the riots excited him:

That calculus, though, may be changing in the wake of George Floyd’s killing by the police in Minneapolis. As America’s first black president, now its first black ex-president, Mr. Obama sees the current social and racial awakening as an opportunity to elevate a 2020 election dictated by Mr. Trump’s mud-wrestling style into something more meaningful — to channel a new, youthful movement toward a political aim, as he did in 2008.

Opportunity? Elevate? That sounds a lot like ‘tailor-made.’

Which ought to be a wake-up call to voters, who are the only ones who can stop this cynical, diabolical plan on property owners. Obama has a stake and interest in perpetrating riots and lootings, regardless of the cost to the little guy, because it advances his political aims. That’s in characters, from the words of his former chief of staff, Rahm Emmanuel, to ‘never let a crisis go to waste.’

It’s also amazingly cynical, given that nobody should be rooting for rioters as a means of benefiting politically. Yet here we are, and Obama is being lionized. It calls to mind that the Obama legacy can’t be hosed out soon enough by Trump in his second term.

Below are the tweets posted by the president seeking information on the suspects:

The extremists who attempted to take down the statue of Jackson allegedly did so after other extremists around the country managed to destroy statues of of former Presidents George WashingtonThomas Jefferson, and Ulysses S. Grant.

Trump signed an executive order last week to protect monuments and statues across the country.

The White House released the following bullet points on actions that the administration was taking to combat the destruction of America’s statues and monuments:

  • President Trump has signed an Executive Order that ensures that any person or group that destroys or vandalizes a monument, memorial, or statue is prosecuted to the fullest extent.
  • United States law authorizes a penalty of up to 10 years imprisonment for the willful injury of Federal property.
  • The Executive Order also directs that those who incite violence and illegal activity are prosecuted to the fullest extent under the law.
  • State and local law enforcement agencies that fail to protect monuments, memorials, and statues will be subject to the withholding of Federal support.
  • The Attorney General will take all appropriate action against individuals and organizations found to have participated in unlawful acts—related to rioting and the destruction of Federal property.
  • The Federal Government will ensure personnel are available across the Nation to assist with the protection of Federal monuments, memorials, statues, and property.

All that bar-hopping and spring-breaking: Press ignores protests as source of new wave of COVID-19

With a new wave, or peak, of Chinese coronavirus cases shutting much of the country down again, and news getting out about how it’s younger people being infected, the press is blaming bar-hopping and spring break travel. And in the case of the Washington Post, President Trump’s rally in Arizona, too. Here’s one account from the Washington Post:

Health officials are imploring young people to wear masks and practice social distancing as coronavirus transmission among younger Americans continues to drive record outbreaks in several states.

The pleas come as governors in Texas and Florida instituted new limits on bars and alcohol consumption to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus, citing the skyrocketing number of young people who are contracting it.

Anything to ignore the elephant in the room: raw, undistanced, unprotected, mass protests over the police-brutality death of George Floyd. The Washington Post actually excuses the protests.

Curiously, the new wave of cases among young people now coincides with the waves of unprotected protests and lootings – five-, ten-day incubation periods, meaning the cases were contracted right about when the protests and lootings were going on. Apparently, everyone was out bar-hopping, according to the press reports seen now. Yet the anecdotal evidence is everywhere:

Make no mistake, bar-hopping does seem to be a factor in some places. Texas and Florida, which avoided the worst of the coronavirus earlier, are moving in to shut bars down for now. The New York Times argues that bars are uniquely suited to the spread of the virus and lays out a decent case.

COVID-19 maps also show big spreads in sunbelt states such as Arizona, Texas, and Southern California, which are arguably, but not uniquely, bar-hopping places, it certainly wouldn’t explain drink-and-socialize havens such as Boston and New York.

Yet virtually all of the blame is going to travel and bar-hopping. Protests are being dismissed because New York is seeing few cases, despite high protests and big looting extravaganzas. That’s still something that remains to be seen as secondary cases come in from the vulnerable, and it may well be because the place was already hard hit, and people ride the subways, factors that could contribute to herd immunity. Other anomalies abound, too: Note also that one of the hardest-hit areas, Imperial County in Southern California, was always an extreme hotspot even before the second wave - a redoubt of farmworkers coming from northern Mexico, where there have been some very high infection rates and little medical care of any kind for the poor. Minnesota with its protests is cited as a place of low new transmissions but its figures are going up, even as the press downplays them.

Bottom line, it’s likely more than one source. But to leave the unchecked, unmasked, un-ruled protests out is appalling, pure politicization of public health in the interests of being woke.

And that calls mind some disgraceful politicizations of the COVID seen recently:

1. Public health experts, in an open letter from the University of Washington, which created the quarantine guidelines, have killed their own credibility in demanding an economic shutdown earlier by publicly endorsing the protests as much more important than preventing the spread of COVID.

Letter here, emphasis mine:

Staying at home, social distancing, and public masking are effective at minimizing the spread of COVID-19. To the extent possible, we support the application of these public health best practices during demonstrations that call attention to the pervasive lethal force of white supremacy. However, as public health advocates, we do not condemn these gatherings as risky for COVID-19 transmission. We support them as vital to the national public health and to the threatened health specifically of Black people in the United States. We can show that support by facilitating safest protesting practices without detracting from demonstrators’ ability to gather and demand change. This should not be confused with a permissive stance on all gatherings, particularly protests against stay-home orders. Those actions not only oppose public health interventions, but are also rooted in white nationalism and run contrary to respect for Black lives. Protests against systemic racism, which fosters the disproportionate burden of COVID-19 on Black communities and also perpetuates police violence, must be supported.

2. Plenty of doctors and nurses, until recently hailed as heroes, have jumped in and joined the protests, too. Not a serious bunch: their lucky patients.

3. Public health officials doing contact tracing in New York have been explicitly instructed to not ask COVID patients if they’ve attended any of the protests or lootings — and they’re having a curiously bad time getting anyone to help them out anyway as to their whereabouts when they contracted the virus.

4. In far-left Oregon, public health officials have exempted black people from wearing COVID masks, allowing them to catch the illness and spread it to others, solely on the grounds that they are victims of racism who may not like wearing masks. Their health is secondary.

Yet there’s also this from USA Today a couple weeks ago:

Public health officials warn new cases of COVID-19 probably will emerge after mass gatherings that followed Floyd’s death in Minneapolis and racial unrest in cities across America.

Health experts fear carriers of the coronavirus with no symptoms could unwittingly infect others at protests where social distancing is not taking place. The merit of the protesters’ cause “doesn’t prevent them from getting the virus,” said Bradley Pollock, chairman of the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of California-Davis.

At least one protester in Tampa, Florida, had COVID-19. Experts say potential cases need to be monitored over two weeks, the virus’s incubation period, and we won’t know for sure how many cases have amassed from the protests until then.

Why exactly isn’t that an issue in the press today? The protests, the frustrations, the politicizations have all contributed to this spike in cases, as have other factors. But only protests seem to be too hot to handle. Why is truth such as hard thing to handle for leftists doing this press coverage?

Pollak: 3 Recent Signs Democrats Want a Socialist Revolution

Three events last week showed that Democrats do not want a mere transfer of power if they win the November election: they intend to revolutionize our entire system of government.

The first happened Wednesday, when Democrats blocked the Senate from considering a bill on police reform by Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC).

Scott, who is African American, has been working on the issue for years. He had the full support of the rest of the Republican caucus. He also agreed to consider whatever amendments Democrats offered.

They still used the filibuster to block the bill from even being debated.

The episode showed that Democrats do not actually care about police reform. Nor do they want to unite the nation behind any sort of bipartisan compromise. They simply want to use the issue in the elections, which they hope will give them the House, the Senate, and the presidency. Then they can get rid of the filibuster and pass whatever they want.

The second episode happened later that same day, when the school board in Democrat-dominated Oakland, California voted unanimously to abolish the police force in local public schools.

With school shootings still a concern, the board bowed to the wishes of Black Lives Matter activists and removed a crucial layer of defense for the city’s children.

It is not an isolated episode: Democrats on the Minneapolis City Council voted Friday to disband their city’s police.

This is not a party that is interested in rational decisions on public policy. This is a party committed to a revolutionary course.

The third episode happened Friday, when the House of Representatives voted along party lines to make Washington, D.C., the 51st state.

It is an utterly absurd proposal. D.C. is barely even a proper city; in land area, it is smaller than Stockton, California. There is no pressing national demand to add another state and redesign of the national flag.

There is only one reason Democrats want to add another state: they want to add two Senators, who — given the partisan makeup of the Swamp — will always be Democrats. That means Republicans would have to work much harder to gain a majority. (It would also mean the majority that confirmed Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court would never have existed.)

With a permanent majority in the Senate, and the filibuster gone, Democrats will be able to redesign the country, even without passing a constitutional amendment. They will be able to expand the Supreme Court and pack it with liberals with just a simple majority. They will be able to make all eleven-million-plus illegal aliens in the country voting citizens, permanently altering the electorate in Democrats’ favor. They will pass a version of the Green New Deal. And so on.

The Democrats knew a D.C. statehood bill would not pass now; their goal is to soften opposition so that they can pass it next year with minimal opposition, if and when they sweep the November elections.

Democrats have made their intentions clear. The only way to stop their socialist revolution is to beat them in November.

A Black Man’s Letter to Black Lives Matter

Allen West, A Black Man’s Letter to Black Lives MatterIn the aftermath of the George Floyd incident, everyone seems to want to have a conversation about race in America.

Just recently, presumptive Democrat presidential nominee, former Vice President Joe Biden, asserted that if you couldn’t decide whether to vote for him or President Trump, “you ain’t black.”

”So, let me clarify something: I was born in February 1961 in a “Blacks only” hospital, Hughes Spalding, in Atlanta, Georgia. I was raised by a proud Black man, Herman West Sr. and woman, Elizabeth Thomas West in the historic Old Fourth Ward neighborhood in Atlanta. My Mom and Dad are buried, together, in Marietta National Cemetery because of their service to our Nation.

Who Are America’s Racial Equality Protestors?

Who Are America’s Racial Equality Protestors?

Tyler Durden

Sun, 06/28/2020 – 09:55

Americans hit the streets in huge numbers over the past couple of weeks, calling for an end to systematic racism and radical police reform.

A new survey from the Pew Research Center outlines just who the protestors were. Statista’s Niall McCarthy notes that Pew polled 9,654 U.S. adults, of which 6 percent said they attended a protest or rally related to race/racial equality over the past month, a sizeable share given that the U.S. is experiencing a deadly pandemic.

Infographic: Who Are America's Racial Equality Protestors? | Statista

You will find more infographics at Statista

615 of Pew’s respondents attended a such protest or rally and 46 percent of that total were White, 22 percent were Hispanic, 17 percent were Black and 8 percent were Asian.

Pew states that protestors tended to be nonwhite given the total number of adults polled, 64 percent of whom were White, 15 percent of whom were Hispanic, 11 percent who were Black and 5 percent who were Asian. Around 4-in-10 of people who demonstrated were under 30 years of age while older Americans were underrepresented at the protests.

Most participants, 79 percent, leaned towards or identified with the Democratic party.

On Saturday Christians, Priests and Families Met to Pray at the St. Louis Statue in Forest Park – This Is How We Were Received (VIDEO)

Last week the Gateway Pundit announced a prayer rally on Saturday at the iconic St. Louis Statue on Art Hill in Forest Park in St. Louis City.

We planned the rally because there is currently a petition by local leftist and radical Umar Lee to remove this beautiful landmark in St. Louis City.
There is also a movement to rename the city because St. Louis was allegedly “Islamophobic.”

Umar Lee has been stirring up trouble in the area for years.

(We posted more on Umar Lee below the videos.)

Several priests showed up at the statue to pray around the time of our rally. One local priest was heckled and harassed while he tried to explain the history of St. Louis of France.

The mob threatened to take the St. Louis Cathedral next!

Local leftist activists planned a counter protest against the Christians.  They smeared our gathering as a KKK rally.   Of course, their lies put our lives in danger.

Several families, local Christians, Catholics and Jews came to join our prayer rally on Saturday at noon.

Here is what happened next…  The unruly mob screamed at us, flipped us off, threatened several people and blew horns as we recited a rosary.

It is truly a shame that local St. Louisans do not know the history of King Louis the IX of France.

He was truly an honorable man and a man of great faith.

Here is more on St. Louis.

We want to thank all of the local Christians for showing up for the prayer rally.

More on Umar Lee.
Lee is behind the renaming of St. Louis City.

Umar Lee was arrested in Ferguson and stirred up the crowds there too.
