Insane Millennials Start New Hot Stove Challenge to Upstage Tide Pods

Millennials started with the “Tide Pod Challenge,” quickly switched to the “Animal Trap Challenge” and have now apparently landed on the “Hot Stove Challenge.”

This new creation by some moron on the internet seems to involve one warming up stove coils and then pressing his or her forearm on those smoldering-hot coils.

Brilliant. Just absolutely brilliant …

Watch below, and note the reaction of the cameraman (WARNING: GRAPHIC LANGUAGE):

TRENDING: Millennial Uses Hunting Trap to One-Up the Tide Pod Challenge

“Holy f*** — that was pretty cool!” the cameraman exclaims after his friend manages to burn the entire length of his forearm.

Dear parents: Where did we go wrong!?

It’s not clear what motivated the “Dumb and Dumber” duo above to perform this stunt, though the timing of the video — it appeared on the social media site Reddit this week, according to Maxim magazine –suggests it may be tied to the whole “Tide Pod Challenge” debacle.

While it’s true young dolts (not to be confused with adults) have been performing stupid stunts since the dawn of civilization, it seems like social media has exacerbated this behavior by making it that much easier for them to advertise their stupid ideas to one another.

Do these challenges concern you?

It hasn’t helped either that the internet is teeming with professional stuntmen who gladly advertise their own extreme stunts and pranks for everyone, including impressionable teenyboppers, to see.

Videos like the one below from The Dudesons, a four-man stunt group from Finland (WARNING: GRAPHIC LANGUAGE):

That was actually pretty funny. And since they’re professionals, I’m not really worried about their safety. By the way, I especially appreciate the warning at the start of the video: “This stunt is dangerous. Do not Try This At Home!”

RELATED:

But boy, given all the stupid stunts millennials have been partaking in lately, it wouldn’t really surprise me if this too soon becomes a challenge.

If only there were a way to convince millennials to take part in the “SHUT UP AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK CHALLENGE.”

Sigh.

Please share this story on Facebook and Twitter and let us know what you think about the latest challenge being performed by insane millennials.

“Sinking” Pacific Islands Begins Rising, Defies Global Warming Predictions

More evidence defying global warming predictions has emerged, this time coming from the south Pacific Ocean.

According to new research, the nation of Tuvalu, a cluster of 101 islands northeast of Australia, has grown over the last four decades.

That is good news, unless you are a climate change alarmist who has perpetuated the notion that these islands would “sink” due to rising sea levels caused by man-made global warming.

For years, left-wing environmentalists have warned that the islands, which are no more than 15-feet above sea level, would be swallowed up by the ocean due to rising sea levels caused by burning fossil fuels that release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

As with most global warming scare tactics, the threat that faces Tuvalu may exist only in the minds of climate change enthusiasts.

TRENDING: Hunters Learn Painful Lesson After Kicking “Dead” Wolf

The findings, published Friday in the journal Nature Communications, show that the small islands are not sinking — they are getting larger.

Scientists at the University of Auckland in New Zealand who have examined hundreds of aerial photographs of the islands over the last 40 years, reported that the total size of the nation has increased by nearly 3 percent. They report that that islands have gained 181.6 acres of new surface area.

Co-author of the study Paul Kench said the research questioned the theory that the low-lying islands would eventually “sink” as the sea rose.

“We tend to think of Pacific atolls as static landforms that will simply be inundated as sea levels rise, but there is growing evidence these islands are geologically dynamic and are constantly changing,” he said, according to Phys.org.

Are you surprised these islands are not sinking?

“The study findings may seem counter-intuitive, given that (the) sea level has been rising in the region over the past half century, but the dominant mode of change over that time on Tuvalu has been expansion, not erosion,” he added.

The study did reveal that man-made efforts, such as seawalls and shore reclamation, as well as wave patterns and sediment from storms have slowed some coastal erosion, but added that perhaps it was time to rethink what is considered a real threat to the islands.

In addition, the research revealed that reef islands adjust to shifting sediments, meaning they may be able to cope with any rising sea levels.

Bench said the research changed dire predictions for the islands.

RELATED: Actual Scientist Destroys Libs Argument about Climate Change Models

“On the basis of this research we project a markedly different trajectory for Tuvalu’s islands over the next century than is commonly envisaged,” he said.

He added, “While we recognise that habitability rests on a number of factors, loss of land is unlikely to be a factor in forcing depopulation of Tuvalu.”

It will be difficult for climate change activists to challenge the fact that the islands are growing, but we doubt that will stop them from using their alarmist tactics in the future.

CNN, MSNBC Push Myth Trump Urged Death Penalty for Innocent Black Teens

On Friday night, during coverage of the resignation of White House aide Rob Porter over spousal abuse charges, CNN’s Anderson Cooper, MSNBC’s Katy Tur and MSNBC’s Jonathan Alter were not content to just complain that President Donald Trump sounded too sympathetic to Porter, but they even had to inject suggestions of racism into the discussion by bringing up debunked claims that Trump used an ad to demand the death penalty for black teens who were actually innocent.

New poll reveals if Americans think Trump campaign was spied on — Obama will hate the results

A new poll reveals that an “overwhelming” majority of Americans believe the Obama administration “improperly surveilled” on the Trump campaign.

What did the survey find?

The new Investor’s Business Daily/TIPP poll, which surveyed 900 Americans, found that:

 • Regarding election spying, 55 percent said they believe it’s likely the Obama administration “improperly surveilled the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.” Among party lines, 87 percent of Republicans said they believe it is likely while 55 percent of independents concurred.
 • When asked if a special counsel is needed to investigation the Justice Department and FBI for their alleged activities regarding the Trump campaign, 54 percent said “yes” while 44 said “no.”
 • However, just 35 percent of respondents said they believe high-ranking DOJ officials attempted to outright frame Trump for alleged collusion with Russia.

Other polls have shown similar results.

A Rasmussen poll released this week revealed 50 percent of likely U.S. voters believe “it’s at least somewhat likely senior federal law enforcement officials broke the law in an effort to prevent Donald Trump from winning the presidency,” including 32 percent who believe it’s “very likely.”

Meanwhile, a separate Rasmussen poll revealed just 42 percent of likely U.S. voters believe Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election more than the FBI. On the other hand, 34 percent said they believe the FBI meddled in the election more than Russia.

Violent, Trump-Bashing ‘Purge’ Film Spotlights Universal’s Left Turn

Editor’s Note: The following has been adapted with the author’s permission from its original publication on Carolina Culture Warrior. To be fully transparent, the author also owns shares in ABC (as previously disclosed).

All too often, talking about the American entertainment industry can be disheartening but especially since President Trump’s election in November 2016 with the rise of the Resistance.

Here’s a recent example. As MRC Culture’s Matt Philbin reported on February 4, CBS is developing a TV series based on the life of former Attorney General Eric Holder with Holder himself serving as executive producer.

With news like that, you know this will be self-serving liberal drivel. But this move shows that CBS is no different from its competitors in its corporate decision-making to alienate a majority of conservatives.

Mainstream Hollywood is going to push this far-left agenda like never before, especially when the 2020 presidential election rolls around. Universal Pictures – a division of the reliably liberal NBCUniversal – provides the perfect example with a new installment in The Purge series of horror films set for release on Independence Day called The First Purge.

Judging from the trailer, it should tell you everything you need to know about how blatantly Trump-focused this one will be. This kind of disrespect for decency is all over Hollywood.

The Purge is perhaps one of the most overtly politically charged film franchises in recent history, with the last film in the series – The Purge: Election Year – taking place during the last presidential election. Further, NBCUniversal is perhaps one of the most left-wing media giants out there, so it’s fitting they’d step forward to greenlight this garbage.

Imagine if any of the major studios made a movie like this targeting Obama. There would be boycotts everywhere, Melissa Harris-Perry would probably re-emerge on MSNBC’s airwaves, and cries of racism would be hurled until the end of time.

Combining that with the Freeform all-but stealing MSNBC’s failed slogan, it’s clear that there is a political and cultural civil war going on for the soul of America.

However, most Republicans and conservatives aren’t snowflakes. They can fight their own battles, and they don’t need to advocate for “safe spaces.” But, that doesn’t mean conservatives should have their heads in the sand when it comes to the moral decay of the entertainment industry.

Another poster child for amnesty is identified

The DACA negotiations must be heating back up because the media is once again seeking out the most sympathetic deportation stories they can find. This week it was CNN, identifying the story of Amer Adi, an illegal alien who had been living in the United States on and off for four decades and who was recently deported to his native land of Jordan. The article on the CNN website is definitely worth a read if only to see the linguistic acrobatics they go through to point out how unjust it all is, how terrible the President is for wanting to see Mr. Adi deported and what a pillar of the community he has been. (That’s literally a phrase that’s used.) But as usual, when you dig a bit deeper there are a few things wrong with the story. (Emphasis added)

With nothing but the clothes on his back and less than $300 in his pocket, Amer Adi was put on a plane and deported to Jordan, the country he left 39 years ago to pursue his American dream.

His 94-year-old mother sat in a wheelchair at the arrivals gate, overcome with emotion as she waited for Adi. She hadn’t seen him in 20 years.
As he walked out, his siblings, nephews and nieces broke out in cheers. But they were soon in tears. Adi fell to his knees, a broken man in his mother’s arms.

“I have mixed feelings, very mixed feelings. I’m so happy, so glad to be here, my home, to see my mother, my brother, my family, my friends, that makes me proud and happy,” Adi told CNN at the airport. “At the same time, I feel so sad of what happened to me. I’m so sorry to tell you what happened is unjust, not right, and everyone back there knows that. What the Trump administration is doing is — you can’t even explain it,” said Adi.

The line about with only the clothes on his back is particularly poignant, isn’t it? But reading further into the details, we learn that Mr. Adi owns multiple businesses as well as a home. Even if he was rushed out without time to pack, I’m sure he’s got an extra suit or two somewhere, not to mention more than 300 dollars, and they could be sent to him. And CNN describes him as a broken man, falling into the arms of his mother. No, wait… his mother in a wheelchair. They couldn’t have picked a better subject and description if they’d found the actual Tiny Tim from A Christmas Carol.

So what’s actually going on with Mr. Adi here? In a system as massive as the United States immigration scene, there are always going to be a few cases that fall through the cracks, and it’s possible that this is one of them. Or maybe not. Back in the 80s, Adi had a green card and was married to an American. But he lost his permanent resident alien status when he moved out of the country for a few years. At some point, they divorced and he remarried a different American woman, but the story doesn’t make clear precisely when that happened.

In any event, he was accused of having a sham marriage and his ex-wife signed a statement saying they had only married so he could get his green card. She later recanted the statement, saying she made it under duress. Which story is true? We have no way of knowing, but the point is that Adi was then in the United States illegally. After battling it out in the courts for a while, he was issued an order of deportation in 2009. (Insert record scratch sound effect here.)

Wait a minute. Did you say 2009? Remind me again who the President was then. Oh, that’s right. Barack Obama.

ICE delayed acting on that order for several years, as so often happens, and appeals were filed. Adi’s congressman even tried to get a special bill passed to allow him to stay in the country. But multiple judges in a number of courts have reviewed the case, and as ICE said in their statement on the matter, “the courts have held that Adi does not have a legal basis to remain in the US.” Having finally made a decision, ICE slapped an ankle bracelet on him in September and told him to make preparations to leave the country. And his family did make those preparations and were ready to go, but the deportation was delayed yet again until the end of January.

So just to review, what really happened here is that ICE, who had been working this case for decades, finally enforced an order given under the Obama administration and deported someone who had lost all of their court challenges. And CNN is happily painting a picture of a “broken man” who was unjustly targeted and ruined by Donald Trump.

It’s not unusual for the media to pick out these poster child cases and highlight them to tug at heartstrings and try to move the needle of public perception on an issue. They did the same thing with the story of the illegal alien journalism student who self-deported last month. Before that, it was the heartwarming story of Jorge Garcia in Detroit. What they all have in common at the end of the day is the fact that these were people who were in the country illegally and were either caught and deported under the normal rule of law or left of their own volition.

It’s definitely possible that mistakes are made from time to time and someone with a lawful basis for being here gets picked up. If that’s the case, highlight it all you like, have them file an appeal and I’m sure it can be worked out. But that wasn’t the case with Mr. Adi or the others we featured here. They were illegal aliens and ICE did their job. End of story.

‘The 15:17 to Paris’ Review: Eastwood’s Ode to the Americanism that Makes Everyday Heroes

On the afternoon of August 21, 2015, on a train headed to Paris from Amsterdam, an Islamic terrorist named Ayoub El Khazzan exited a bathroom with a AKM rifle and 300 rounds of ammunition. The first person to try and stop him was Mark Moogalian, a 51-year-old American-born Frenchman, who wrestled the rifle away from El Khazzan but was shot in the back with a pistol Moogalian did not know the terrorist was carrying.

With his rifle and rounds back in his grasp, El Khazzan made his way to the passenger car. It was here that he met up with three Americans, three lifelong friends enjoying a European excursion together: 23-year-old Airman First Class Spencer Stone, 23-year-old Anthony Sadler, and 22-year-old Specialist Alek Skarlatos.

It is the story of the American friends that producer/director Clint Eastwood wants to tell. In fact, the three-time Oscar winner is so interested in these three, he had them play themselves in a $30 million studio film.

The opening scene is a doozy, a sharp stick in the eye of public school tyrants eager to feed drugs to boys as a means to control their behavior, or “to make your job easier,” as Spencer’s mother (Judy Greer) puts it just before Spencer and Alek are placed in a Christian middle school.

The Christian environment does not, however, calm the boys’ behavior, and it is in the principal’s outer-office where they complete their trio with Anthony, a street-wise charmer who proceeds to lead them into even more trouble. Eventually real life intrudes and they go their separate ways. For Alek and Spencer, that means life in the military.

Alek is eventually deployed to Afghanistan while Spencer struggles to find his way in the Air Force. In the summer of 2015, while they are still young and unencumbered, they decide to get the band back together for a trip through Europe. Near the end of the vacation, they find themselves on the 15:17 to Paris.

The only way I can describe Eastwood’s highly original approach to this story is to call it a populist art film. To begin with, the screenplay, written by Dorothy Blyskal, and based on the book written by our three heroes with Jeffrey E. Stern, primarily focuses on just how American these three guys are.

As kids, Spencer owns an arsenal of toy guns that would make a SJW cry. The boys love to play army, to shoot at each other, to get in trouble. They pray to God and work at the local Jamba Juice. Spencer and Alek are white, Anthony is black, everyone is colorblind. These guys like pretty girls, enjoy some sin in Amsterdam, are unfailingly polite to everyone, and, as young men with so much life in front of them often do, they talk a lot about life’s ultimate purpose while snapping countless selfies.

That is the populist part.

The art film part is Eastwood’s overall approach — which is as close as a narrative movie could ever come to a documentary. Although amateurs, the three key players are surprisingly natural actors. Their dialogue is also natural, which means it avoids the smoothness of moviespeak. You are going to hear a lot of “likes” and “you knows,” just as you do in real life.

Because the central event only lasts a few minutes, there are 80 other minutes to fill, which Eastwood does without dramatics or anything that feels Hollywood. A thing called life just happens to these guys, and it is oddly compelling.

The pace does slow a bit once we arrive in Europe. The travelogue takes up a heavy amount of time and, as they travel from country to country to country, it all starts to feel like you’re being forced to watch someone else’s home movies. But by the time the terrorist shows up, you see Eastwood’s purpose behind this.

By casting three ordinary guys to play their ordinary selves, by showing us their ordinary lives, their ordinary friendship, and their ordinary vacation, it makes that moment when they become extraordinary unspeakably moving; a shock to the senses, a true act of bravery and selflessness (to say the least) made all the more truer because these are not movie heroes.

From the opening attack against bureaucrats and their Ritalin, to watching boys playing in the woods with their toy guns, to the opportunities to become your own man in our military, to the selflessness of the Christian faith, to their proud masculinity, Eastwood is saying one thing above all — that if you will just let American boys be American boys, there is a very good chance they will grow up to be extraordinary men.

‘Guerrilla Warfare’: Gina Miller Slams Soros-Backed Anti-Brexit Group as ‘Undemocratic’

‘Guerrilla Warfare’: Gina Miller Slams Soros-Backed Anti-Brexit Group as Shady and ‘Undemocratic’

The Soros-backed Best for Britain group working to overthrow the government and block Brexit is “undemocratic”, according to founder Gina Miller.

Miller became well-known as an opponent of Brexit after using the Supreme Court to force the Government to seek Parliament’s approval to activate Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty and kick off the Brexit process, which could have seen MPs vote down the will of the people.

However, she has now sought to distance herself from the anti-Brexit group that she co-founded in a strongly worded statement, claiming they are betraying her values of “transparency” after receiving hundreds of thousands from the pro-open borders billionaire George Soros.

The group is working to build a network of powerful allies to undermine the Government before it can implement the Brexit vote, and Miller is insisting the public has the “right to know” who is backing it as it fights the referendum result.

Best for Britain hopes to trigger a second referendum by recruiting MPs to vote down any deal with the EU and stall the Brexit process.

In her statement, Miller slammed the lack of “transparency about key players’ motivations, agendas and activities”, and urged “those keen to play their part in the Brexit debate to be open and honest about what they stand for, whom they represent and by whom they are funded”.

She also claimed not to have been involved in the Soros-backed group since June 2017, but was still describing herself as involved on Twitter and in interviews for most of last year.

Soros’s Open Society Foundations is one of the biggest campaigning groups in the world and the banker frequently interferes in international politics. His involvement in Best for Britain was exposed earlier this week after it was reported that he had given them £400,000 and hosted a meeting between Labour’s Lord Malloch-Brown, two other financiers, and six major Tory donors.

The Hungarian-American speculator, infamous as ‘The Man Who Broke the Bank of England’ for his role in the Black Wednesday crash, has a close relationship with the European Commission and backs many of their mass migration policies.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Ms. Miller added: “When I read the coverage I pulled back and thought this is not where I think this should be going. It was a good decision to part ways.

“[The plot] is undemocratic. One of the objectives cannot be to bring down a Government, not without an election or a referendum.

“This idea of bringing down a Government and guerrilla warfare, I don’t agree with any of that. I’m a transparency campaigner, it doesn’t matter which side of the argument you are on.

“If you are going to have funders who are getting involved in something that could determine Britain’s future then the public has a right to know who is backing it. This is about the future of our country.”

POLICE: Illegal Immigrant Dismembered Man, Stuffed Body In Suitcase

Police in Washington State revealed on Thursday that a man who was arrested in a horrifying murder in one of the state’s sanctuary cities is an illegal alien who was wanted by federal immigration authorities.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials were seeking 37-year-old Rosalio Ramos-Ramos late last year, and nearly apprehended him from a hospital to which police had transferred him before he managed to slip out, Circa News reported.

Timeline of events:

 • Kent Police arrested Ramos-Ramos in October after they got a call about an alleged sexual assault and discovered methamphetamine on him.
 • After arriving at Kent Jail, Ramos-Ramos said he wanted to die and then attacked the corrections staff when they tried to get his fingerprints so they could verify his identity, injuring five.
 • Ramos-Ramos sustained a head injury during the altercation and was transported to an unidentified local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
 • The local hospital transported him to Harborview Medical Center where he was placed in a medically-induced coma because he was acting violently toward the hospital staff.
 • During his stay at Harborview, police learned his identity after ICE contacted them.
 • ICE was not able to arrest Ramos-Ramos in the hospital because it is considered a “sensitive location.”
 • Police said they would keep a close eye on Ramos-Ramos but the hospital reportedly was not very cooperative and was “reluctant” to give them information.
 • Police said they called the hospital and notified them that they were on their way to apprehend Ramos-Ramos when they were told they let him go the night before.
 • On January 10, Ramos-Ramos’ brother called the police and reported that he had a history of “mental illness” and “was upset and throwing things around the apartment.”
 • On January 11, police were called to a nearby apartment after they received a call about an abandoned suitcase which had a dismembered body in it that police identified as Pedro Venegas-Ramos, the suspect’s cousin.

“If the cops that tell you specifically, ‘do not let this guy out until you contact us first,’ and you let him out anyway?” said Rich Richardson, a man who lives in the area and saw the suitcase. “Who’s fault is it? It’s not the cops fault.”

In a statement, Harborview took no responsibility for the incident and said that they had no obligation to cooperate with police over the phone:

When we care for patients who are incarcerated or under the custody of law enforcement, it is the role of the law enforcement agency to guard the patient while they are hospitalized. This particular patient was not under guard when he was released from the medical center last fall after five days of hospitalization. We also follow federal privacy laws that dictate the amount and type of patient medical information that we can release.

According to Kent Police Chief Ken Thomas, Ramos-Ramos “had been deported four times prior, he is a convicted felon and he’s a very violent person.”

All of these events appear to have happened in King County, Washington, which the Center for Immigration Studies lists as an official sanctuary county, meaning that law enforcement officials are not allowed to cooperate with federal immigration authorities.

Supreme Court case could decide government’s ability to access emails

A digital privacy case against Microsoft is expected to come before the Supreme Court this month, and it could renew concerns about how the government uses tech giants to fuel its world-wide spying efforts, Yahoo Finance reported.

At issue is whether the U.S. government can demand customer emails from tech companies, even when the emails are stored on foreign servers. Congress is also interested in the topic, and a group of bipartisan lawmakers this week introduced legislation to clarify the government’s ability to demand “cross-border data searches.”

If the proposed legislation passes, the Microsoft case won’t matter, the report noted. But if the legislation does not pass, the Supreme Court will tackle the complex and touchy topic.

Matthew Tokson, an, associate professor at University of Utah’s College of Law and an expert on digital privacy, told Yahoo: “Foreign countries may be troubled by the idea that U.S. law enforcement can search the files of any company with a U.S. office, even if those files are located overseas.”

“This is especially sensitive territory,” he added, “because U.S. surveillance of foreigners for national security purposes has already caused foreign countries to be wary of U.S.-based tech companies, hurting U.S. businesses.”

Jennifer Daskal of American University’s Washington College of Law also weighed in on the issue, citing the “ongoing concern about the scope of U.S. surveillance.”

What laws already exist?

Outdated laws — namely, the Stored Communications Act — are currently used to justify warrants that force tech companies to give the government electronic communications.

For example, the law was used to justify a 2013 warrant that demanded Microsoft give the government the contents of an email account reportedly used for drug trafficking. The emails in question were store in Ireland, so Microsoft refused, according to Yahoo news. Microsoft argued in a Supreme Court brief that there was no indication the customer “is a citizen or resident of the United States.”

A district court found Microsoft in contempt for refusing the government’s request. But a circuit court later sided with Microsoft, “on the grounds that the law doesn’t specify that its warrant provisions can be applied overseas,” Yahoo reported.

Government intelligence and police agencies defend the practice, saying it can deter serious crimes such as terrorist attacks, child pornography, drug trafficking and fraud.

Privacy advocates and whistleblowers, however, say it represents a gross violation of privacy protections provided by the Fourth Amendment.

What affect has Edward Snowden had?

Back in 2013, former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden publicly revealed documents showing the vast surveillance scope of the U.S. government. Through the documents, tech companies were shown to be facilitating the NSA’s spying efforts. Snowden’s information supported that of previous NSA whistleblowers who sounded alarms about the government’s mass surveillance efforts. All of them have warned that the government’s spying programs also collect vast amounts of data from average citizens.
