Women’s March Leader Proves Once Again That Intersectionality Doesn’t Care About Jews

First, Farrakhan. Then backing sex trafficking. Now this.

Via Daily Wire:

In yet another piece of evidence for the idea that the brand of intersectionality pushed by the Women’s March excludes Jews, co-president Tamika Mallory called for a national boycott against Starbucks thanks to the company’s relationship with . . . the Anti-Defamation League. The ADL is one of the more left-leaning organizations in America, but Mallory hates them because they had the temerity to call out her association with anti-Semite extraordinaire Louis Farrakhan.

On Tuesday, as reported by The Daily Caller, she issued a statement explaining, “So you are aware, Starbucks was on a decent track until they enlisted the Anti-Defamation League to build their anti-bias training. The ADL is CONSTANTLY attacking black and brown people. This is a sign that they are tone deaf and not committed to addressing the concerns of black folks. Be clear what’s happening here!”

Glenn Beck Selling His Private Jet as His Media Empire Crumbles

Glenn Beck Selling His Private Jet as His Media Empire Crumbles

Glenn Beck is reportedly downsizing his assets as his media empire dwindles, posting his private jet for sale for an undisclosed amount on a site that sells used aircraft.

The Daily Beast reported that Beck listed his 1966 DC9-15 aircraft–which he purchased for $1 million in 2015–for sale on Controller, a online retailer for used aircraft.

The jet’s registration number listed on the website, N8860, is the same Federal Aviation Administration registration number given to a jet belonging to Mercury Radio Arts—Beck’s radio production company.

The 12-passenger luxury jet includes a convection oven, bar with marble countertops, and a fold-out table in the dining area.

Mercury Radio Arts purchased the jet in 2015 for $1 million from right-wing billionaire Richard Mellon Scaife. Even though Beck’s conservative media empire struggled financially, he held onto the jet.

In April 2016, not too long after Beck purchased the jet, he laid off 40 staffers from his news site the Blaze to “satisfy the requirements of a multi-million-dollar bank loan” Beck took out to keep his struggling media enterprise afloat.

A report from October 2016 noted that the Blaze’s editorial department dropped from 25 employees to six employees during the height of election season.

The woes for the Blaze continued when Beck laid off 30 percent of the Blaze’s staff in September 2017—although he managed to keep his personal chef on the payroll.

Beck’s once-successful media enterprise has had issues over the past few years due to declining ad revenue, a sharp drop in web traffic and subscribers, less reach for the television network as cable distributors dropped the subscription-only channel from their lineups, and management troubles.

Part of the reason for the slump in business for the outlet was due to Beck’s failure to embrace President Trump in the primaries and the general election. He emerged as one of the leading voices in the “Never Trump” movement, putting him at odds with much of his conservative audience.

Pennsylvania Sheriff Bars His Office from Conducting Business with Any Company Boycotting NRA

Pennsylvania Sheriff Bars His Office from Conducting Business with Any Company Boycotting NRA

Butler County Sheriff Michael Slupe has banned his office from conducting business with any company involved in a boycott of the NRA.

He enacted the prohibition earlier this month but news surrounding it just became public this week.

The Washington Examiner reports Slupe sent everyone in his office an order which said, “Though I cannot dictate which companies you utilize in your personal life, I can and am going to dictate which companies the Butler County Sheriff’s Office will not use.” He stressed that companies boycotting the NRA are not to be used “when making arrangements for any extradition or stay over [being scheduled].”

On February 24, 2018, Breitbart News reported that over a dozen companies cut ties with the NRA in reaction to post-Parkland gun control campaigns.  Those companies included:

  • First National Bank of Omaha
  • Enterprise Rent-A-Car
  • Symantec
  • Metlife
  • Delta Airlines
  • United
  • Best Western

Sheriff Slupe reacted to the boycotts by saying, “These companies made the choice to boycott the NRA for whatever their reason(s) are, so, I am making the choice not to support them. I believe it is important to send a message as a department that we support the members of our community that are members of the NRA that have had nothing to do with any of the shootings, yet they are the face of the blame in the eyes of corporate America.”

Liberal professor dances ‘happily on the grave’ of Barbara Bush. The college responds.

An author and English professor at Fresno State is under fire by many on social media after mocking the death of former first lady Barbara Bush — and now it appears that she’s on leave.

What did she say?

Randa Jarrar celebrated Barbara Bush’s death on Twitter Tuesday night.

In a series of tweets that are no longer public, Jarrar wrote, “Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal. F*** outta here with your nice words.”

She added, “PSA: either you are against these pieces of s**t and their genocidal ways or you’re part of the problem. That’s actually how simple this is. I’m happy the witch is dead. Can’t wait for the rest of her family to fall to their demise the way 1.5 million Iraqis have.”

After receiving tons of blowback on Twitter, Jarrar wrote, “All the hate I’m getting ALMOST made me forget how happy I am that George W Bush is probably really sad right now.”

She added, “I’m using [woke points] to dance happily on the grave of someone I despise.”

The liberal professor added that she didn’t even care about the criticism, because she couldn’t lose her job at Fresno State.

“I work as a tenured professor,” she boasted. “I make 100K a year doing that. I will never be fired. I will always have people wanting to hear what I have to say.”

As of the time of this writing, Jarrar’s Twitter account remains set to private.

What did the college say?

In response to the outcry against Jarrar, Fresno State President Joseph Castro issued a statement.

“On behalf of Fresno State, I extend my deepest condolences to the Bush family on the loss of our former First Lady, Barbara Bush,” Castro said in the statement, which was shared on Twitter. “We share the deep concerns expressed by others over the personal comments made today by professor Randa Jarrar, a professor in the English Department at Fresno State.”

“Her statements were made as a private citizen, not as a representative of Fresno State,” the statement continued. “Professor Jarrar’s expressed personal views and commentary are obviously contrary to the core values of our University, which include respect and empathy for individuals with divergent points of view, and a sincere commitment to mutual understanding and progress.”

So what about her being on leave?

A previously cached version of her Twitter page describes Jarrar as an author and professor and boasts of her essays published on the internet.

“Books: A MAP OF HOME & HIM, ME, MUHAMMAD ALI. Professor. Essays in @salon, @nytmag, @buzzfeed, @the_rumpus, @thesunmagazine etc Muslim & Arab AF,” the “about me” portion reads.

However, Jarrar’s page, at the time of this writing, reads, “Currently on leave from Fresno State. this is my private account and represents my opinions.”

Facebook Suspends Conservative Comedian Terrence Williams for Posting Abusive Messages He Received

Facebook Suspends Conservative Comedian Terrence Williams for Posting Abusive Messages He Received

Facebook has suspended conservative comedian Terrence K. Williams for posting screenshots of hate mail he received from liberals.

For the second time in a week, Facebook has suspended a conservative user for posting screenshots of abuse they received on the platform. Shortly after the suspension of columnist and editor Jamie Glazov, who posted screenshots of threats he received, comedian Terrence K. Williams has been temporarily suspended for posting screenshots of abuse and ridicule he received from liberals on the platform.

Williams posted examples of the threats he receives on a regular basis from liberals seemingly angered at the idea of a black conservative. One such message can be seen below:

This image was promptly removed by Facebook as they allegedly don’t allow posts that “bully private individuals.” Williams told Breitbart News, “Facebook always deletes the post and says I’m bullying or harassing the people sending the threats and harassment.”

Shortly after this, Williams received a 24-hour suspension from posting to Facebook:

Examples of the abuse that Williams receives on a regular basis can be seen below. Williams alleges that despite reporting these messages on a regular basis, Facebook has taken no action against the individuals that refer to Williams as a “coon” amongst other racial slurs:

Breitbart News spoke with Williams about his treatment on Facebook and how he deals with attacks from those at the left, seemingly angry at Williams simply for being black and conservative. Williams said that he had become afraid to expose the abuse he was receiving for fear that his Facebook page may suffer as a result. Williams stated: “I dont post all my threats anymore because I fear that Facebook may suspend my account and I have a large platform and people that look forward to my messages every day and I’m going on tour so I don’t want to break any violations and throw everything away so I don’t post all my stuff all the time. Facebook said they would ban me permanently if I kept posting screenshots of the death threats.”

Williams stated that despite multiple reports drawing Facebook’s attention to the screenshots and the abuse he received, Facebook failed to act: “Facebook said that they reviewed the screenshots and said that none of the threats violated Facebook’s guidelines.”

Breitbart News asked Williams if he felt that Facebook was specifically targeting minority conservatives such as himself and YouTube stars Diamond and Silk who have alleged that their Facebook page reach has been limited by the social media platform. Williams said, “I do believe that Facebook is targeting not only conservatives but they’re really targeting minority conservatives such as myself and Diamond and Silk, they have a million followers and their posts are only reaching eight people are you serious? And Facebook does the same thing to me, I lose followers every day and I do not believe that my fans are going to my page to unfollow me.”

Facebook has not responded to a request for comment from Breitbart News at the time of the writing of this article.

Texas firefighter made heroic attempt to save woman sucked out of window on Southwest flight

A Texas firefighter is being hailed for his heroic efforts after debris from an engine explosion blew out a window and sucked an Albuquerque, New Mexico, woman from her seat and halfway out of the plane.

What happened?

On Tuesday, about 30 minutes into Southwest Flight 1380 from New York City to Dallas, the plane lost an engine and sent panicked passengers reaching for their oxygen masks.

Celina firefighter Andrew Needum made sure his family had their oxygen masks secured to their faces.

Then Needum noticed a child seated behind him was having trouble so he quickly jumped up and helped the child, Celina Fire Chief Shain Hunn told TheBlaze.

Needum looked around to see who else needed assistance and that’s when he noticed Tim McGinty trying to pull a woman back inside the plane.

McGinty, a real estate worker, was seated near 43-year-old Jennifer Riordan when she went out the window. He tried to pull her back inside, but he couldn’t do it alone.

“When we saw the window was gone somebody saw the lady out of the window so just tried to get her back in and wasn’t strong enough,” McGinty told reporters after the plane made an emergency landing in Philadelphia.  “A fireman from Celina, Texas, jumped in there and helped and between the two of us we were able to get her back in.”

Together, Needum and McGinty pulled Riordan back inside the plane.

Needum, along with retired school nurse Peggy Phillips, started CPR on Riordan, while the pilot rapidly descended to land the Boeing 737-700.

They attempted to revive Riordan, but her injuries were too severe, and she didn’t survive. Riordan, a  mother of two, was vice president of community relations for a Wells Fargo bank.

Hunn said he’s extremely proud of Needum and wasn’t surprised to hear about his courageous efforts.

“He’s an example to others for them to follow,” the Celina fire chief said. “He’s a servant.”

What caused the engine explosion?

The plane’s engine showed signs of “metal fatigue,” the National Transportation Safety Board investigators said during a news conference Tuesday night.

One of the engine blades appeared to have come off and is missing, NTSB Chair Robert Sumwalt told reporters.

“There is much more to be done on this,” Sumwalt said, adding the full investigation of the accident would take 12-15 months.

Haley Stands by Allies, Slams Russia Following Release of Report on U.K. Nerve Agent Attack

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley on Wednesday spoke to theU.N. Security Council following the release of a report on the nerve agent attack in Salisbury, United Kingdom, calling on members to condemn the use of a Russian nerve agent on British soil.

Haley thanked the U.K. Permanent Representative to the U.N. Karen Pierce for her update on events in Salisbury before discussing the broader danger of chemical weapons attacks of its nature and calling on the international community to take a firm stand against the use of chemical weapons.

"None of us will be immune from this threat unless we immediately start rebuilding our consensus against chemical weapons," Haley said.

Later in her remarks, warned against the danger of the use of weapons of mass destruction becoming "routine."

"There is nothing more troubling than the idea that the use of a weapon of mass destruction becomes routine," Haley said. "Last year it was Malaysia and Khan Shaykhun. Last month it was Salisbury. Last week it was Douma."

Haley also called out Russia specifically, referring to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons’s (OPCW) independent report that confirmed the U.K.’s lab analysis that the agent used in the Salisbury attack originated in Russia.

"As we have stated previously, the United States agrees with the U.K.’s assessment that Russia is responsible for the chemical weapons in Salisbury. Whether that is in their direct act, or irresponsibly losing control of the agent, which could be worse, our support for our British friends and colleagues is unwavering," Haley said.

"We hope our colleagues on this council will join us, as they have before, in delivering a clear condemnation of the use of a Russian nerve agent on another member’s soil," Haley added.

Haley warned her fellow ambassadors that the next such attack could take place closer to their own home and said it was a matter of "morality" to prevent such attacks form happening.

"This is a matter of basic morality. We cannot in good conscious allow this to continue," Haley concluded.
