From blaming the Las Vegas massacre on white people to calling the married father Dr. Jordan Peterson an “incel,” left-wing professors made some incendiary tweets during the 2017 to 2018 school year.
But who receives the honor of making the most wacky, unsubstantiated, and just simply unhinged tweet? Without further ado, here are the rankings.
*** WARNING: The following may contain strong language ***
5. Fresno State Prof Calls Barbara Bush An ‘Amazing Racist’
California State University, Fresno professor Randa Jarrar bashed former First Lady Barbara Bush in the hours immediately following Bush’s death.
TRENDING: Trump Celebrates Big Court Victory Over ‘Democrat Crazies’
“Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal. F*** outta here with your nice words,” she tweeted from her since-protected account. “I’m happy the witch is dead. Can’t wait for the rest of her family to fall to their demise the way 1.5 million Iraqis have.”
The professor also tweeted out a phone number which she claimed to be hers, but was actually a crisis hotline, resulting in the clogging of that service.
Throughout the ordeal, Jarrar, an English professor, did not note the former First Lady’s massive contributions to increasing the literacy of American children.

4. Prof Says He Would ‘Be OK’ If Betsy DeVos Were Sexually Assaulted
Austin Community College professor Robert Ranco resigned from a position he held at a law firm after tweeting this remark.
“I’m not wishing for it … but I’d be ok if #BetsyDeVos was sexually assaulted,” the professor said in a since-deleted tweet.
“The recent social media comments made by a part-time employee on his personal page do not represent ACC’s vision, mission, and values,” an Austin Community College spokesperson said. “The college does not condone these comments and their sentiment.”
3. Professor Calls Dr. Jordan Peterson, Who Has A Wife And Children, An ‘Incel’
Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania professor Wendy Lynne Lee made and then deleted this most curious remark.
“Jordan Peterson: incel misogynist. Committed white nationalist,” the philosophy professor said, referencing a since-deleted bibliography she had kept on “white nationalists,” in which she had allegedly tracked the University of Toronto professor’s “decent [sic] into rank bigotry.”
Lee deleted her tweet after The Daily Caller News Foundation got in touch for comment, but not before TheDCNF took a screenshot of it.
“It’s clear that [Lee] has decided that it’s entirely acceptable to be careless with her words in relationship to me and my putative beliefs,” Peterson told TheDCNF. “Academics, whose trade-in-stock is words, should know better. She clearly believes (1) that her ill-advised statements are warranted, which they are not, and (2) that such actions, however ill-advised, are acceptable, ethically and factually.”
Mic.com later revealed that Peterson’s attorney, Howard Levitt, had threatened legal action against Lee if she did not delete her tweet and apologize to Peterson.
“AS PER THREAT TO SUE FOR LIBEL, I HEREBY APOLOGIZE TO JORDAN PETERSON FOR REFERRING TO HIM AS AN INVOLUNTARY CELIBATE (INCEL), A MISOGYNIST, A COMMITTED WHITE NATIONALIST, AND SOMEONE WHO HAS DESCENDED INTO RANK BIGOTRY,” the professor subsequently tweeted.
2. Ivy League TA Calls On White Men Last, Black Women First
University of Pennsylvania teaching assistant Stephanie McKellop employed a sort of affirmative action when it came to letting her students speak in class.
“I will always call on my black women students first. Other POC [people of color] get second tier priority. WW [White women] come next. And, if I have to, white men,” she said in a since-deleted October tweet. “In normal life, who has the easiest time speaking, most opportunities? Flip it.”
“The classroom is the place YOU get to control social setting,” the TA stated. “Prioritize and encourage voices who are talked over most often.”
1. Former Drexel University Professor Blames Las Vegas Massacre On ‘White Supremacist Patriarchy’
Former Drexel professor George Ciccariello-Maher, who subsequently left the school to become a scholar at New York University, made this remark on Twitter the day after shooter Stephen Paddock murdered 58 individuals at a country music concert.
“It’s the white supremacist patriarchy, stupid,” the professor tweeted, explaining the massacre. “But liberals will drown out all discourse with a deafening chorus screeching ‘gun control.’”
“White people and men are told that they are entitled to everything. This is what happens when they don’t get what they want,” Ciccariello-Maher wrote. “The narrative of white victimization has been gradually built over the past 40 years.”
Drexel placed Ciccariello-Maher, who had previously said “all I want for Christmas is white genocide,” on leave after his Vegas comments, citing safety concerns.
The university let the professor resume teaching a couple of weeks later, at which time Ciccariello-Maher commented to TheDCNF “LOL, F*** The Daily Caller.”
Bonus Round: Rutgers Prof Freaks Out On ‘Little Caucasian A*****es’
Rutgers University history professor James Livingston’s message occurred on Facebook, not Twitter, but with equally as batty outcomes.
“OK, officially, I now hate white people,” Livingston said. “I am a white people [sic], for God’s sake, but can we keep them — us — us out of my neighborhood? I just went to Harlem Shake on 124 and Lenox for a Classic burger to go, that would [be] my dinner, and the place is overrun with little Caucasian a*****es who know their parents will approve of anything they do.”
“Slide around the floor, you little s**thead, sing loudly, you moron,” he continued, referring to the kids. “Do what you want, nobody here is gonna restrict your right to be white.”
The professor stated that Facebook had contacted him, claiming his post violated the site’s hate speech policy. Either he or the social media giant deleted the post.

Anne Applebaum is a regular columnist for the Trump-hating Washington Post. She is a confessed leftist with few academic credentials who was dismissed by the Legatum Institute in London because she did not like their evolving Christian orientation. She now is on the Soros payroll for a project housed at the LSE. Yes, she should be exposed! Her recent pieces in the failed Washington Post demonstrate a level of Trump hate and disfavor for those who support him.
She did a hatchet job on Ted Malloch who she knows and clearly dislikes.
This was one of her recent screeds against a leader of the anti-globalist right.
Ted was Trump’s favorite to be Ambassador to the EU, while she tries to defame him. The head of the Trump Transition Team for national security, former Amb, Martin Silverstein, can easily confirm this. He and a panel of four others interviewed him last January in Trump Tower. The press corps photographed him there. None other than Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s closest confidant at the Inauguration told him “he had the job”. Roger Stone was also a whisperer to Trump on Ted’s behalf. Many people in Trump world know these facts.
Malloch, unlike Applebaum, has considerable credentials. He has an earned PhD in international political economy, four honorary doctorates, including one from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, for “his contribution to civil society.” He has published 16 books. Read them. He is also a Christian evangelical (Anglican) conservative—a faith Appelbaum also despises, like many on the left.
Critics should read Malloch’s thoughtful piece on Transatlantic Relations in Parliamentarian magazine or on economic populism in American Greatness. He published in a wide variety of sources all over the spectrum some 40-opinion pieces leading up to the last US election. They were brought together in a nice little book entitled, Hired: An Insider’s Look at the Trump Victory. Maybe Applebaum and her ilk would benefit by reading it and discussing ideas rather than castigating a scholar and diplomat who was on the very Scholars and Writers for Trump masthead. Malloch appeared on BBC, CNN, Fox and elsewhere long before that election as a policy expert.
She quotes the FT, which is being sued for defamation about Malloch without doing any of her own research. For the record, he was a Senior Fellow at Oxford University and its business school for two full years under contract. That’s what took him to England from Yale, were he was previously a Research Professor. Applebaum attended Yale! She must not have taken his classes.
Malloch was also a Professor at the Oxford Study Abroad Program, one of the world’s finest such programs, and a Visiting Scholar fellow at Wolfson College. Check your facts, please. All are easily confirmable, unless you don’t want to know them or have a bone to pick and want to libel a person because of their political ideas.
Malloch held a D-2 level post as the highest American at the UN/ECE in Geneva, Switzerland from 1988-1992. Ronald Reagan appointed him. His recommendations came from then Republican Senators Trible, Lugar and Dole—pretty good ones at that! The head of admin and finance for the UN when he was there issued a letter confirming his position and ambassadorial level in terms of protocol. Enough? No, because you hate conservative intellectuals. Right?
Malloch was “knighted” into the Sovereign Military Order of St. John. It is an honor and the letter came through the Queen. He produced a copy and photo to the FT, which they did not use. Why? It did not fit their narrative, as he was critical of the EU—their patron. He never said he was an OBE or a royal. Americans can’t be—but you know that, correct?
Ted Malloch knows everyone, not just Trump. He ran the CEO Learning Partnership for the large firm, PwC, for a decade. He is a well-heeled policy wonk and appears at think tanks all the time. This includes the likes of the Hudson Institute, Institute of Economic Affairs and many others, worldwide. He has even spoken about his books at the Legatum Institute in London, where Applebaum herself worked. Did she attend? Would you like a photo and summary of the event?
Ted’s memoir Davos, Aspen & Yale is most fascinating. He was on the executive board of the Davos WEF group; Vice President of all programs at the renowned bipartisan, Aspen Institute, and on the faculty of Ivy League—Yale. He worked at the US State Department as a senior economist with Top Secret and Codeword clearances, on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and on Wall Street. He is a strategy genius. Just look at all the corporate clients on his past list! They paid him. He was also a cold warrior since birth. Applelbaum doesn’t like that either.
Who said Malloch was not a candidate for a senior post? An anonymous source. Name them! I can personally tell you, he is held in highest regard not only as a contributor but also as a first rate mind. Ask Steve Bannon or Steve Miller, or maybe Sam Clovis, who gave him glowing kudos. But you don’t care for Trump people. Malloch’s book, The Plot to Destroy Trump is what irks the left, Applebaum, even the jaundiced FBI. Read it and see how the Deep State works.
No one in their right mind would ever think Ted Malloch is an operative or underhanded in any way. He is an ethical person, held in high regard by those who know him well—not those who try to smear him—just because he voted for and endorsed Trump. Larry Kudlow, now economic czar in the White House, said of Ted, “Every CEO should read his book for moral energy.” High praise from a true insider who knows his way around. Maybe Malloch’s economic ideas and focus on moral capitalism and free markets, like Kudlow’s, anger the left.
One thing is certain; everyone should read Malloch’s new book, THE PLOT TO DESTROY TRUMP. He connects all the dots in this farfetched Red November conspiracy. Maybe that’s why the FBI does NOT want you to read this book based on all the facts.
It is people like Anne Applebaum and her globalist husband, the leftist former foreign minister of Poland, before it turned courses and elected a sound nationalist government, who hate America, Judeo-Christian values, and patriots like Ted Malloch. But the WAPO doesn’t want that known.

My guess is that, if you pay attention to the news with any sort of regularity, you know that Chicago is experiencing an epidemic of gun violence. This is not a novel piece of information.
You don’t need to be made aware of the problem — the media is doing quite a good job of that already, thank you. This is exponentially more true if you live in or around the Windy City itself.
So, on Saturday, liberal activists decided to draw attention to an issue that needed absolutely no attention by blocking off the northbound part of the city’s busy Dan Ryan Expressway — even though organizers had previously promised government officials they’d only block off part of it — in order to inconvenience travelers who have probably broken no gun laws in order to get people who are breaking gun laws to stop breaking gun laws.
I can’t possibly see how this could fail. Oh, and Jesse Jackson was involved, because of course he was.
“For weeks, the Rev. Michael Pfleger said his intention was to shut down the busy South Side expressway for a demonstration designed to focus a spotlight on crime, joblessness and poverty plaguing city neighborhoods,” the Chicago Tribune reported. “Chicago police urged him to use a neighborhood street instead of the interstate. Illinois State Police threatened arrests.
TRENDING: Trump Celebrates Big Court Victory Over ‘Democrat Crazies’
“The Saturday morning march kicked off with a compromise: Demonstrators in half the northbound lanes, traffic in the others, separated by a barrier of highway trucks, emergency vehicles and uniformed officers.
“But with semi-trucks crawling past the few thousand protesters crowded onto the expressway, Pfleger, the march’s chief organizer, and the Rev. Jesse Jackson stopped and reiterated their desire to fill all northbound lanes with chanting, drumming demonstrators. The priest from St. Sabina Catholic Church spoke with commanders at the scene, including Chicago police Superintendent Eddie Johnson.”

— Fox News (@FoxNews) July 7, 2018
After roughly an hour, “with protesters pressing toward the police line and traffic squeezing by in single file,” police capitulated and agreed to shut the entire road down. In other words, this was an anti-violence protest using intimidation of police to stop violence. What’s wrong with this picture?
“We came out here to do one thing: To shut it down,” Pfleger said, according to the Tribune. “We came here to get their attention. Hopefully we got their attention. … Today was the attention-getter, but now comes the action.”
“This day is your day,” Jackson told demonstrators. “Our mission, shut the highway down, our mission, first-class schools … our mission, stop guns and drugs from coming in, and jobs going out.”
The blockade lasted about half an hour before traffic began moving again.
Hundreds of demonstrators calling for “national common sense guns laws” are marching along the northbound lanes of the Dan Ryan Expressway https://t.co/rqkm1ZJNbr pic.twitter.com/YSzb5phnRN
— CNN Breaking News (@cnnbrk) July 7, 2018
Signs at the rally included banners that said “NO MORE DRUG WAR” and “NO GUNS,” as well as one that said “They Don’t Care About Us” with pictures of Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner, a Republican, and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, a Democrat.
Oh, and speaking of that odd couple, they engaged in a Twitter war over how the protest was handled and the mayor’s endorsement of using the expressway as a venue.
“This is unacceptable,” Rauner tweeted. “We had clear parameters that allowed the protestors to be heard while respecting law and order. Instead, they chose instead to cause chaos.”
“I’m disappointed in the Mayor. There was an agreement in place,” Rauner continued. “I am calling on the Mayor to take swift and decisive action to put an end to this kind of chaos. I will work with him in good faith and urge him to do his job so that the people of Chicago feel safe.”
Fifty minutes later, Emanuel responded: “It was a peaceful protest. Delete your account.” Yes, he really used “delete your account.”
When considering how to solve Chicago’s problems, perhaps one ought to first start with examining the caliber of the city’s leadership.
Now this isn’t to say that people oughtn’t be inconvenienced if an actual change could be effected. If it would end violence and joblessness in Chicago, by all means, block off the Dan Ryan Expressway. Block it off every weekend, as far as I’m concerned. Heck, bring some food trucks out there and park them on the shoulder and you can make this a thoroughly capitalist affair.
For the sake of argument, let me ask a few questions, though: Are you more informed about gun violence in Chicago than you were when the Dan Ryan Expressway was shut down? Do you think that anybody is? Do you know any of the specific aims of the protesters, other than “better schools,” “no guns” and “more jobs?” (Go, read the article at the Tribune and see if it makes anything clearer for you. I can almost guarantee you it won’t.) Do you think that anybody who didn’t share the aims of the marchers was somehow persuaded to the righteousness of their position? Do you think anyone in the traffic standstill had a Damascene road conversion to the ideology of the Revs. Jackson and Pfleger?
The only real publicity this generated was for the march’s organizers. I was only loosely familiar with Rev. Michael Pfleger (he’s the Barack Obama supporter who made headlines back in 2008 mocking Hillary Clinton in public, as CNN reported, among other things). And now I’m familiar with the fact he’s willing to shut down a highway for self-promotion under the flimsy pretenses of raising awareness for something everyone is already aware of.
Rev. Jackson’s use of popular movements for personal enrichment, meanwhile, has long been a matter of public record. The only coherent point I heard come out of Saturday’s action was that, according to CNN, marchers want “national common sense gun laws” — the same ones, presumably, that have worked so well in Chicago.
The march and the tactics used certainly didn’t put pressure on those responsible for the cycle of violence Chicago finds itself in: Gangs, poor civic leadership and cultural ambulance chasers who claim to “lead” those affected for their own political gain. The gangs were wholly unaffected, Chicago’s elected leaders got behind the protest for political gain (and even made hay of it by tweeting circa 2009 witticisms like “Delete your account”), and the cultural ambulance chasers were the ones at the fore of the march.
Yet, protester Clarita Bingley called the whole thing “beautiful.”
“We need to sit down and listen to everything of people and hear their needs, and listen without hollering at each other,” Bingley told the Tribune. “We need our children to have the same education as this child and that child, and then when they graduate, we need them to have the same opportunity to get those jobs.”
I appreciate the fact that Bingley’s pain is both real and acute; the same goes for everyone trapped in the miasmatic web of Chicago’s poorest neighborhoods. My heart goes out to all of them.
But stopping traffic to scream liberal bromides on camera is literally “hollering at each other.” Nothing that happened Saturday will get anyone a better education or a new job and nobody heard anything about the people or Chicago of their needs.
What happened on the Dan Ryan Expressway will only have a long-term benefit for the self-promoting charlatans behind it. While it may have temporarily sated the frustration of the literal rank and file present on Saturday, it will have no long-term effect on the trajectory of their lives — or how well-informed the world is about their plight.

A police officer in Washington state has become a viral hero after he picked up a fallen flag in someone’s front yard — and the fact that he did it on the Fourth of July makes it all the more perfect.
Officer Dave Negron was recorded by local resident Ben Rieman’s CCTV camera on Independence Day taking action to make sure the flag wasn’t dishonored, KOMO reports.
The flag had fallen down in the wind at the home in Marysville, and any good American knows Old Glory should not touch the ground.
So, as the video shows, Negron walked up to the flag and tried to make sure that it was back in proper form:
TRENDING: Trump Celebrates Big Court Victory Over ‘Democrat Crazies’
After establishing that the flag could not be righted, Negron took the banner down and rolled it up with care. Then, he propped it up on the side of the house.
After all of that, he walked away, likely thinking that would be the end of it. Except, he was caught on CCTV, and Rieman wanted to share the act with the rest of the world.
“I would like to THANK greatly to an Officer of the Marysville Police department!!!!” Rieman wrote in a post on the Snohomish County Crime and Community Facebook group.
“It just so happens I was out and about enjoying my 4th of July, when my American Flag had somehow fell to the ground.”
“I wish I could thank him personally,” Rieman added.
“That’s a real American to me!”
Well, the officer has gotten plenty of thanks. By Sunday afternoon, the video had already been viewed over 1.5 million times at ABC News’ Facebook page, and countless other times at other sites that picked it up.
Sadly, at least at ABC’s page, the comments section actually turned into a hate-fest against police officers and the American flag, because this is 2018 and of course it did.
Nevertheless, there were still more patriots who were willing to stick up for what Negron did.
“Thanks, officer,” a user identified as Robert Ulisse wrote.
“Despite the vitriol spat by many in the comments here, you have the gratitude and respect of those to whom the flag means something special.”
Indeed, there are many more of us than there are of them, and Officer Negron is proof. He may have only been with the department for a year, but we bet he’ll go far — and we’ll all have a special place in our hearts for him and his respect for our star-spangled banner. He’s proof that not all heroes wear capes.

A church youth group from Bradenton, Florida, is stranded in Haiti amid violent protests there over a sharp increase in fuel prices, WFLA-TV reported.
When Haiti’s government announced the fuel price hike, people began protesting in the streets by damaging buildings and setting fires, according to the report. On Saturday, Haiti’s government announced a sharp rise in fuel prices, sending the country into turmoil.
Parents of the teenagers say they are worried about their kids having a safe return home. Some of the parents told the TV station they feel helpless and haven’t been sleeping.
The youth group tried to get to the airport around 4 a.m. Saturday in an attempt to avoid protesters, Mike Wilson, the founder of My Life Speaks, told WFLA. But the protests were already underway.
“When they got to the main road, that is when they encountered all of the riots,” Jill Kramer, whose 15-year-old daughter is on the trip, told the TV station. “They were on a bus with the owners of the mission, the leaders, other adults, three armed guards and they just kept getting stopped by road blocks and people asking for money and that is when they decided, at that point, it was not worth it.”
Heather Terwilliger said the Haiti trip was her 15-year-old daughter Abby’s first mission trip.
“She says, ‘Mom, there is something crazy going on. Tires are being lit on fire in the street,’” Terwilliger said her daughter told her during a phone conversation.
Similar to other parents, Terwilliger said she is worried and only wants the safe return of her daughter and others who are in the group.
The group is still working out arrangements for their return, according to the report. They’ve been in Haiti for about a week.
The teenagers are safe and staying at a compound that is away from the main roadways where the protests are happening, according to the report.

This is actually a good news story, but only if you’re a law-abiding, taxpaying American citizen.
If, however, you’re among more than a third of a million Americans in a tax delinquent category, well, then this is not a good news story.
It seems Congress passed a law three years ago requiring the Internal Revenue Service to cull out Americans who have more than $51,000 in overdue back-tax debts. Then, the IRS sends those names in batches over to the State Department where they file the names to deny those folks new passports or passport renewals
Eventually, they may be cancelling existing valid passports, but not for now, the Wall Street Journal (subscription) reports. Nor does the current enforcement action involve delinquent taxpayers who are up-to-date on installment repayment plans.
If you’re a tax delinquent, you probably wouldn’t appreciate such decisive limits on your movements abroad. On the other hand — and here’s where most of us come in — those of us who do pay our taxes and tax debts on time are carrying the burden of the delinquents.
After six months of this action, the IRS hopes to have the entire delinquent list of some 362,000 names over to State by year’s end. As of the end of June, under this threat 220 people had paid off $11.5 million in tax debts to stay off the list and 1,400 others had signed installment payment agreements.
The Department of Health and Human Services already has a similar plan in place against anyone who is more than $2,500 behind in child-support payments.
Right now, IRS mails its warning letter to the taxpayer at the same time as it sends the delinquent’s name to the passport folks.
Tax advocates are hoping to tweak that so the IRS letter provides a 30-day window to pay up before State starts its own delinquent actions. On another other hand, by definition being delinquent, they’ve already had considerable time to settle that obligation.
The post Pay up! IRS now sending tax delinquents’ names for passport denials appeared first on Hot Air.
