Obama Admin Granted Citizenship To 2,500 Iranians With Nuclear Deal: Iran Official

The Obama administration granted citizenship to 2,500 Iranians, including family members of government officials, while negotiating the Iran nuclear deal, a senior cleric and member of parliament has claimed.

Hojjat al-Islam Mojtaba Zolnour, who is chairman of Iran’s parliamentary nuclear committee and a member of its national security and foreign affairs committee, made the allegations during an interview with the country’s Etemad newspaper, cited by the country’s Fars News agency.

He claimed it was done as a favor to senior Iranian officials linked to President Hassan Rouhani, and he alleged the move sparked a competition among Iranian officials over whose children would benefit from the scheme.

He claimed that the deal was made during negotiations for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which was reached in July 2015. President Trump announced in May that the U.S. would withdraw from the agreement.

“When Obama, during the negotiations about the JCPOA, decided to do a favor to these men, he granted citizenship to 2,500 Iranians and some officials started a competition over whose children could be part of these 2,500 Iranians,” he claimed.

Scenes From The Latest Anti-Trump National Temper Tantrum

Yesterday the left’s latest excuse for throwing a temper tantrum over a lost election spilled into streets across the nation where socialist sloths and amnesty activists revealed their latest chants and signs.

The protest marches that are in actuality major rallies for the Democratic party have become so regular that were it not for the saturation coverage on CNN, would have long had most people bored and tuning out but hating on Trump is good for ratings and also serves as trial runs for the day that The Resistance makes their move.

This will possibly occur this fall when elephantine propagandist Michael Moore will show up in Washington with a million insurgents to surround the U.S. Capitol to deprive President Trump of his constitutional right to nominate Supreme Court justices.

Until then, we have the Families Belong Together march which if it really weren’t an anti-Trump protest would be thousands of useful idiots calling for the dissolution of the nation’s borders and the rolling out the welcome mat to an invasion of illegal aliens that could conceivably number in hundreds of millions of refugees.

And now this — Justice Anthony Kennedy is retiring, and Trump gets another Supreme Court pick. The court might tilt right for the rest of your life. He’s winning.

In a nutshell, our visit to the tortured mind of a Trump hater explains everything from Saturday’s mass marches to why a Virginia restaurant owner declared No Soup for Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Their loathing for Trump is bone-deep and all consuming. This is war and they take no prisoners.

For most marchers, border policies offer a chance to vent. They didn’t make a peep when Obama did the same thing.

If children are their main concern, they could help the 23,000 New York City kids living in shelters. Or they could have attended the funeral of Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, the innocent Bronx teen hacked to death by a Dominican gang.

Instead, they give in to Trump Derangement Syndrome, which causes them to immediately and absolutely adopt the opposite position of the president’s — facts and common sense be damned.

The march was sponsored by the usual coalition of anti-American front groups and tentacles of the Soros octopus including Moveon.org and the ACLU.

Here’s a small sampling of the type of anti-American scum and vermin that took to the streets, their signs say it all:

The left and their media can call it whatever they like but the term is anti-Americanism.

Trump Sends Dems Into Tailspin With Direct Promise to ICE Agents Across America

The latest trend among Democrats across this fruited plain is to insist that, if Immigration and Customs Enforcement is actually enforcing immigration and customs laws, it needs to be disbanded. President Donald Trump says he’s going to make sure this never happens.

In a series of tweets Saturday morning, the president warned that the abolition of ICE would be the first thing on the Democrats’ agenda if they were to retake control of Congress, although he insisted he would stand in the way of any attempt to do this.

“The Democrats are making a strong push to abolish ICE, one of the smartest, toughest and most spirited law enforcement groups of men and women that I have ever seen,” Trump tweeted.

“I have watched ICE liberate towns from the grasp of MS-13 & clean out the toughest of situations. They are great!”

He then followed up with a message praising, “the great and brave men and women of ICE” and telling them to “not worry or lose your spirit.

“You are doing a fantastic job of keeping us safe by eradicating the worst criminal elements. So brave! The radical left Dems want you out. Next it will be all police. Zero chance, It will never happen!”

The fact that this reassurance would even be necessary would have seemed superfluous just weeks ago. However, that’s no longer the case.

Do you think the ICE should be abolished?

Democrats calling for the abolition of ICE began with folks like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — the avowed socialist who captured the Democrat nomination for a New York City congressional seat against entrenched, moneyed party hack Rep. Joseph Crowley last week — and backbencher Democrat Rep. Mark Pocan of Wisconsin, according to the Washington Examiner. Not exactly a Murderer’s Row of Democrats, at least a few weeks ago.

That quickly changed, particularly after Ocasio-Cortez became a media darling by winning the nomination on Tuesday. Later in the week, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand both joined the calls to abolish the agency.

De Blasio has long uncritically supported whatever ridiculous movement currently curries favor with the editorial staff over at the Village Voice, so this wasn’t entirely surprising.

Gillibrand, on the other hand, was more of a shocker, particularly because her formless political ideology can be encapsulated by the phrase vox populi, vox dei. The fact she now believes this isn’t a political liability among the voters she wants to capture — in particular, the national. American electorate, given that it’s obvious she’s a 2020 presidential contender — is more than a little worrying.

Of course, I’d be willing to wager that this shift is a miscalculation of epic proportions, but the point is the sentiment is out there, and not just on the fringes of the Democrat caucus.

And for Trump to call out the opposition party like this has to be throwing Democrat political calculation into a talispin.

Abolishing ICE will never happen with a sane president in the White House, of course — but if Democrats want a showdown with Trump over the preposterous idea, they’ll certainly get one.

‘Philosophy of Tolerance’: Restaurant Manager Canned After Attacking Man in MAGA Hat

How far down the tubes is civility? Well, even Canadians have stopped being nice. And no, not just Justin Trudeau, either.

According to Canada’s Global News, Darin Hodge — manager of the Teahouse Restaurant in Vancouver, a popular spot for tourists — is currently jobless after getting himself in a snit on Tuesday aboot a man in a MAGA cap (it can happen in the U.S., too, you might have heard).

“A gentleman came in wearing a hat that was a Make America Great Again hat, and our manager went up to the gentleman and asked him to take off his hat, that he wouldn’t serve him with that hat on,” Eva Gates, vice president of human resources for the Sequoia Group of Restaurants, which owns the Teahouse, told Global.

“And the gentleman said that he had a right to wear that hat. And (the manager) refused to serve him if he wouldn’t take off his hat, and so the customer had to leave.”

While the restaurant called Hodge “a good person with a big heart and a right to his personal beliefs,” its official statement added that what he did violated its “philosophy of tolerance.”

“Sequoia does not support intolerance of any kind, and it is because of these principles that we cannot discriminate against someone based on their support for the current administration in the United States or any other bona fide political party,” the statement reads.

In an email to Global, Hodge had no regrets.

“I stand by my decision to ask the patron to remove his hat,” he wrote.

“The MAGA hat has come to symbolize racism, bigotry, islamaphobia (sic), misogyny, white supremacy, homophobia. As a person with a strong moral backbone, I had to take a stand against this guest’s choice of headwear while in my former place of work,” Hodge wrote.

Do you think this manager should have been fired?

Yes, he stereotyped what the hat — and the wearer — stood for, which is clearly the sign of someone with a “strong moral backbone” as well as “a good person with a big heart.”

Perhaps on other issues, Mr. Hodge is. For all I know he’s an individual tolerant of a panoply of other beliefs, even if they aren’t his. Perhaps he holds deep, frank discussions with those whose views he doesn’t understand in order to grasp where they’re coming from better. I question this in extremis, but much like cold fusion or a Buffalo Bills Super Bowl victory, it is theoretically possible.

When it comes to what Mr. Hodge did, however, there wasn’t anything particularly moral about it. There was no dress code in the restaurant, nor were any other customers apparently put out the by the Trump fan’s headwear. The problem was with Hodge, because he believed MAGA hats have “come to symbolize racism, bigotry, islamaphwordhecan’tspell, misogyny, white supremacy, (and) homophobia.”

He also seems to believe he has the right to act on that conclusion (that can happen in the U.S. too, you might have heard).

He’s perfectly within his rights as a human being to believe this reductionist, insular stereotype, mind you, but this has nothing to do with him being someone “with a strong moral backbone” and everything to do with him being an intolerant fanatic. The hat stands for none of the things Mr. Hodge thinks — unless, of course, you convince yourself that it does, which isn’t terribly hard for liberals to do.

The incident is the second such high-profile refusal-of-service incident in recent days, the more high-profile of the two being White House press secretary Sarah Sanders getting booted from the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, in because the owners didn’t like her political beliefs.

In that one, the participants were far more famous. This time, however, the implications are even more frightening: Even the Canadians, long our preternaturally civilized brethren to the north, are finally losing their marbles.

So much for that liberal “tolerance.”

Chuck Todd Lets Socialist Redefine the Ideology to ‘Sell’ It to ‘Older Americans’

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez rocked the Democratic Party on last Tuesday after she toppled New York Congressman Joe Crowley. The millennial identifies as a Democratic Socialist and, as would be expected, she became an overnight media darling. Since socialism has led to the poverty and suffering of millions of people around the world, there’s no wonder many people fear its horrific effects. But on Sunday’s Meet the Press on NBC, moderator Chuck Todd let the young Congresswoman-elect define the ideology on her terms.

“Let me talk about some of your policy positions but generally. First, explain this to me. You were endorsed by a group, the Democratic Socialists,” Todd prefaced in the middle of the interview. “What is your definition of democratic socialist?” He also boasted to her about how The New York Times had a headline touting millennials turning to socialism.

As what often happens when a Democrat is asked to define socialism in non-scary and untruthful terms, she stumbled out of the gate:

Well, for me, again, and – and – there’s so much focus on this endorsement, but I also think it’s important — an important part of my strategy in winning was building a broad-based coalition of people. So while there is a focus on this one aspect of the coalition, and to me, you know, to answer your question, the definition of democratic socialism, to me, again, is the fact that in a modern, moral, and wealthy society, no American should be too poor to live.

 

 

“Some Democrats are afraid of the ‘S’ word,” Todd explained to her. “Older Americans hear socialism and they tie it to, sort of, ugly governments from Europe and the past. (…) How do you sell this to an older generation,” he wondered.

Ocasio-Cortez parroted Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who suggested the Democratic Party was a “big tent.” “I do think that, once again, it’s not about selling an ism, or an ideology, or a label, or a color, this is about selling our values,” she told Todd. While Todd was letting her redefine the ideology, there was no pushback or questions from him about the New York City Democratic Socialists pushing to “abolish profit” and to “abolish borders”. Todd also failed to question her about a Page Six report that found a former co-worker who accused her of unfairly splitting tips just a few months ago. 

It’s easy for Todd to overlook the horrors of socialism here because his network hardly covers them. As the Media Research Center noted in early 2017, NBC barely noticed Venezuela’s economic crisis. In the summer of that year, they couldn’t be bothered to note how the country became a dictatorship. And in the middle of it all, NBC couldn’t find it in themselves to label the culprit: socialism.

Ocasio-Cortez’s victory over Crowley had been likened to Virginia Congressman David Brat unseating House GOP whip Eric Cantor in a shocking upset in 2014. At that time, soothsayer Todd proclaimed Brats win meant “immigration will absolutely tear the Republican Party apart”. Yet immigration was a major reason why President Trump won the 2016 election. This time around, there was obviously no doom and gloom for the future of the Democratic Party from him.

So while there is a focus on this one aspect of the coalition, and to me, you know, to answer your question, the definition of democratic socialism, to me, again, is the fact that in a modern, moral, and wealthy society, no American should be too poor to live. And to me, that means every working class American in this country should have access to dignified health care. Should actually be able to go see a doctor without going broke. It means you should be able to send your kids to college and trade school if they so choose. And no person should feel precarious or unstable in their access to housing as our economy develops.

TODD: Some Democrats are afraid of the “S” word.

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Yeah.

TODD: It has– Older Americans hear socialism and they tie it to, sort of, ugly governments from Europe and the past.

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Yeah.

TODD: Do you — how do you — how do you sell this to an older generation?

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Well, I think, you know, as the clip from Schumer showed earlier, Democrats are a big tent party. I’m not trying to impose an ideology on all several hundred members of Congress, but I do think that, once again, it’s not about selling an ism, or an ideology, or a label, or a color, this is about selling our values.

TODD: Are you a democratic socialist? Is that what you call yourself or you don’t want that label?

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Um. I mean, it’s part of what I am, it’s not all of what I am. And I think that’s a very important distinction. I’m an educator. I’m an organizer. And I believe that what we’re really seeing is just a movement for health care, housing, and education in the United States.
