Federal Workers to Keep Their Paychecks for Weeks Under the Government Shutdown

Federal employees will not necessarily feel the effects for weeks after the partial government shutdown went into effect Saturday, according to the Office of Management and Budget.

Federal workers are still set to receive their holiday paychecks for the Dec. 9 to 22 biweekly pay period on time, no matter what happens in Congress. Holiday paychecks are expected to be issued between Dec. 28 and Jan. 3, according to Office of Management and Budget guidance. The new Congress will convene Jan. 3.

The first federal payday that will cover workdays affected by the shutdown will not be until Jan. 11, reported Politico. Many departments have funding despite the shutdown and reopened Wednesday like normal, but nine departments are without government funding.

The departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Justice, State, Transportation, and Treasury are currently caught in the crosshairs of the shutdown, as are agencies like NASA and the Food and Drug Administration.

Many federal employees deemed non-essential are furloughed or expected to work during the shutdown but have received pay anyway after shutdowns in recent years, according to an Office of Management and Budget blog post.

Meanwhile, both the Senate and the House are scheduled to be in session Thursday afternoon, although they are not expected to strike any deals with the White House that will end the partial government shutdown, reported Politico.

Congress helped trigger a partial government shutdown after a short-term continuing resolution to fund the government expired on Dec. 21. At the center of the funding battle is the border wall that President Donald Trump wants to build.

The federal government employs more than 2 million people full time excluding U.S. Postal Service employees, according to Governing.com. Roughly 80 percent of them work outside the Washington, D.C., region. More than 420,000 essential federal employees would be expected to work without pay, according to a press release from Vice Chairman Patrick Leahy’s Senate Appropriations Committee staff.

Trump has faced criticism from Democrats and union leaders over the shutdown.

A union that represents high-paid federal employees, including NASA rocket scientists and federal immigration judges, accused Trump of “gambling with the lives of federal workers” over the partial government shutdown.

“As the nation’s top administrator [Trump] should be deeply concerned about the morale of his employees, the productivity of government agencies, and the ability of the government to attract and retain the best and the brightest,” Paul Shearon, president of the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, said in a statement Wednesday.

The ball is now in the Democrats’ court though, according to Trump.

“I am proud to shut down the government for border security, Chuck,” Trump said on Dec. 11 during a meeting with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

Democrats Trying To Turn Border Patrol Into Free Babysitting For Illegal Aliens

It’s for the children.

Via Washington Examiner:

Watch the CNN interview that aired Thursday with Rep.-elect Xochitl Torres Small, D-N.M, and you come away with two things: A migraine and the inescapable conclusion that Democrats want to turn border patrol agents into caretakers and babysitters for illegal immigrants.

The national news media show no interest in hundreds of Americans killed by illegal immigrants but shift into high gear when two sick Guatemalan children die after being dragged by their fathers 2,000 miles to the U.S. border.

Fortunately, however, the wall-to-wall coverage of the border issue means we’re eventually exposed to Democrats’ true feelings on the issue.

Torres Small, when intelligible, said on CNN that the immediate priority on “border security” (Democrat code for: “do nothing to deter illegal immigration”) should be fixing up detention facilities and dumping more taxpayer resources into caring for illegal border crossers.

“All of our safety depends upon on having an agency that’s quickly able to adapt to changing circumstances and that’s exactly what we have here,” she said. “So we have to prioritize, of course, medical equipment, as well as personnel, appropriate facilities for these families that are being detained, because that’s important to save children’ lives, to make sure that detainees are safe and healthy.”

She also said she’s “willing to work with anyone to make sure that we have real border security and that we are relying on this border that keeps all of our communities vibrant.” ( What?!)

Rachel Campos Duffy: People Keep Stopping My Congressman Husband At Walmart To Demand A Border Wall

The people democrats avoid.

Via Mediaite:

Rachel Campos Duffy, the wife of GOP Rep. Sean Duffy, said on Fox News Thursday that people keep stopping her husband in supermarkets to demand a wall on the southern border.

Duffy said that Trump should give an “Oval Office address” to explain why the wall is “so important.”

“We’re not going to get a wall,” fellow panelist Doug Schoen retorted. “It’s not going to happen.”

“My husband and I were in Walmart and Sam’s Club over the holiday — he’s a member of Congress, as you know — he was stopped every few feet by people saying ‘Keep fighting for the wall,’” Campos Duffy said.

“Those are mostly Republicans,” Schoen countered. “Democrats and Independents don’t take that position.”

“Democrats don’t shop at Sam’s Club?” Campos Duffy asked.

“No, I said they don’t want a wall!” Schoen replied.

As Shutdown Lingers, Donald Trump Escalates Battle for Border Wall with Democrats

As the partial government shutdown affecting about a quarter of the federal government nears the one-week mark, President Donald Trump is escalating his battle for the border wall with Democrats, pushing for more funding for the barrier.

In a series of tweets on Thursday afternoon, President Trump called out congressional Democrats for opposing securing the border with a wall–and pointed out that the Democrats scuttled a previous opportunity for a deal that would have funded the wall in exchange for a permanent legislative solution on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). DACA is the illegal Barack Obama-era executive amnesty, through which the previous president bestowed–without legislative approval–amnesty upon approximately a million illegal alien youths.

Earlier this year, a number of legislative proposals exchanging in part the border wall for a permanent DACA amnesty, including some deals where Democrats were open to the pillars in principle that were floated–but none made it through Congress.

The White House issued a new statement late on Thursday afternoon, too, putting the heat on congressional Democrats. The White House said, per a press pool report:

The President has made clear that any bill to fund the government must adequately fund border security to stop the flow of illegal drugs, criminals, MS-13 gang members, child smugglers and human traffickers into our communities – and protect the American people. The Administration understands this crisis and made a reasonable, common-sense solution to Democrats five days ago – we’ve not received a single response. The President and his team stayed in Washington over Christmas hoping to negotiate a deal that would stop the dangerous crisis on the border, protect American communities, and re-open the government. The Democrats decided to go home. The only rational conclusion is that the Democrat party is openly choosing to keep our government closed to protect illegal immigrants rather than the American people. The President does not want the government to remain shut down, but he will not sign a proposal that does not first prioritize our county’s safety and security.

When those deals fell through, Trump pushed to have $5 billion in border wall funding included in a spending bill that Congress was supposed to approve after the midterm elections – before Christmas, heading into the new year. In the week leading up to Christmas, the GOP-led House of Representatives passed the funding bill that including $5.7 billion in border wall money Trump sought–but the bill was blocked in the Senate, which passed a different spending bill with zero dollars for the border wall.

The deadline passed last Friday at midnight, leading to a lapse in funding for the Department of Homeland Security and a number of other federal departments and agencies and what has now been a slow-burning partial federal government shutdown. The military and other parts of the federal government are funded via separate spending bills, so the nature of the shutdown being only part of the government–along with the timing of it starting the long weekend leading into Christmas Eve and Christmas and continuing into the long weekend leading into New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day next week–have mitigated much of the normal consequences of a prolonged government shutdown. In other words, as the public is not feeling the effects of the shutdown as they had in previous shutdowns like one during the Obama administration, that gives Trump more leverage with which to batter Democrats.

The president, however, is racing the clock. If he does not obtain some kind of victory by Jan. 3–which is next Thursday, just one week away–the new Democrat majority in the House elected in November’s midterm elections takes over. While Republicans were able to add a net two seats to their Senate majority on Nov. 6, they lost control of the House–meaning Trump’s ability to leverage this battle for border wall funding significantly decreases when power changes hands.

The Senate returned on Thursday after the Christmas holidays, and the House is not expected to have any votes this weekend into early next week, per the GOP leadership.

As such, this shutdown is very likely to last through New Year’s Day and even likely to bleed into the next Congress. Democrats are blaming Republicans and particularly Trump for the lingering shutdown, but assuming it lasts into January, when Democrats take over they start bearing responsibility and cannot just throw political attacks Trump’s way. Given the minimal impact of the shutdown on the public, and the lack of consequences in Washington for the president at least for now, he may seek to drag this out as long as he can while continually battering the Democrats politically like he is doing on Twitter on Thursday afternoon.

To get to a deal that reopens the government, both chambers of Congress–the House and the Senate–will need to pass a spending bill in agreement with each other. The Senate, per rules that there are not enough votes to change, requires 60 votes for such legislation to make it to the president’s desk. If the deadline lurks past when the new Congress elected in November comes in on Jan. 3, any bills passed by either chamber become null and void, so Congress would need to start over.

The high-stakes political battle for funding for the border wall is one of Trump’s central campaign promises, and his re-election is under two years away. Meanwhile, on the Democrat side of the aisle, as many as 40 or more potential presidential candidates are considering bids for the Democrat nomination and the chance to take on Trump in a process likely to accelerate at the beginning of the year.

Conservatives and anti-establishment forces on the right are digging in, too, and pushing Trump to fight harder and harder for the wall. In a letter to the president obtained by Breitbart News, for instance, Rally Forge’s Jake Hoffman asks the president to step up and deliver a national address on the crisis at the border – to speak directly to the American people on the need for a wall. Hoffman writes:

On behalf of the entire conservative/America First movement, let me begin by applauding your dedication to doing what’s right for America and being willing to stand up for a sovereign America in the face of tremendous astroturfed opposition from both the Left and the establishment Right. America is greatly blessed by your sacrifice and steadfastness. Make no mistake, you will win this government shutdown. The time is now to take the truth about illegal immigration and the effectiveness of border walls directly to the American people. Today (12/24), you began this effort with your Facebook post on the White House Facebook page, as well as, your Donald J. Trump page. This was an excellent first step, but we need to reach further given the coming Leftist attacks.

It remains to be seen where this battle goes from here, but it looks for now like both sides are dug in for the long haul in what could be one of the defining fights of 2019–right off the bat at the beginning of the year–all while Trump escalates his fight from his end, rallying the people to his side.

UMaine College Republicans Host ‘Deck the Wall’ Christmas Party

The UMaine College Republicans hosted a “Deck the Wall,” Christmas party much to the displeasure of their progressive peers.

According to a report from Campus Reform, the College Republicans at the University of Maine angered some of their progressive peers when they announced last week that they would be hosting a “Deck the Wall” holiday party.

On the Facebook event page for the holiday party, the student group says that the party would celebrate both sides of the border wall, meaning that both Mexican and American themes would be featured at the event.

Please join us for our first annual Christmas Party! Half of the party will be on the Mexican themed side of the Wall, and half will be on the American themed side of the Wall. As a generally overlooked party on campus, we look forward to generating political discussion on this pertinent topic in politics, and getting to talk about our view on all things political – everyone is invited to come, partake in the festivities, and share their point of view!

After some students complained to the administration about the events, the College Republicans group caved and issued a statement apologizing for the event.

“Hey everyone, just want to clarify some things about our upcoming Christmas party tomorrow,” the group said in the

statement

. “It has come to my attention that many people have taken issue with our decided theme of ‘Deck the Wall,’ and feel it’s unnecessarily inflammatory. I’d like to make clear that our goal is not to be so, and simply to generate political discourse on a very pertinent topic that many may not agree on.”

The party went on as planned on December 16, featuring both American and Mexican themes.

Facebook’s Top Five Fails of 2018

Breitbart News has chosen to outline just a few of Facebook’s biggest mistakes and scandals over the course of 2018. Due to the company’s practices in recent months, there has been many stories to choose from but here are five of the biggest situations that Facebook faced this year:

Perhaps the most widely reported and most well known of the company’s data breaches this year has been the one involving the British political consulting firm Cambridge Analytica. The firm gained access to the personal details of 87 million Facebook users via a quiz app which required certain permissions from users, providing the firm with access to users personal data. Even more worrying is that the political consulting firm could still have access to this data as Breitbart reported in March:

Cambridge Analytica may still be in possession of the user data of Faceook, despite their claims of deleting data when requested by Facebook in 2015. A report from Channel 4 News claims that some of the data may not have been deleted and that they have directly seen data troves that date back to 2014.

Paul Grewal, Facebook’s vice president and deputy general counsel, also commented on the fact that Cambridge Analytica may not have deleted all of the user data saying:

“Two weeks ago, we received reports from media, including Channel 4, that, contrary to the certifications we were given, not all data was deleted. Cambridge Analytica have confirmed publicly that they no longer have the data, others are challenging this, we are determined to find out the facts. The ICO has launched an investigation into Cambridge Analytica and we are assisting with this. We want to assure people that we have suspended Cambridge Analytica from Facebook.”

Shortly after the announcement of the data breach, the Federal Trade Commission began a probe into Facebook, they were later joined in this investigation by the  FBI, SEC, and the Justice Department. According to the Washington Postthe probe focuses on what Facebook knew in 2015 after they learned that Cambridge Analytica had accessed personal user details without user consent. Facebook reportedly did not publicly discuss the issue until March of this year despite having knowledge of the incident for some time.

2: Zuckerberg’s Testimony Before Congress

In an effort to appease government officials, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg agreed to appear before Congress to answer questions relating to Facebook, with a heavy focus on user data privacy and Cambridge Analytica. However, Zuckerberg’s awkward answers, blank expression and decision to sit on a padded leather cushion during the hearing resulted in widespread ridicule of the CEO.

Following the hearing, questions remained around whether or not Zuckerberg had been entirely honest with Congress; the fact that the CEO was not under oath during the hearing fuelled these worries. The Facebook founder also appeared to contradict himself on a number of topics, two months before Facebook began publishing exclusive content from establishment media outlets, Zuckerberg was assuring Congress that the social media platform was not a publisher.

Zuckerberg’s exchange at the time with Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-AK) was as follows:

[Sen. Sullivan:] “So — which are you? Are you a tech company, or are you the world’s largest publisher? Because I think that goes to a really important question on what form of regulation or government action, if any, we would take.”

Zuckerberg gave a mealy-mouthed response, saying he “views [Facebook] as a tech company, because the primary thing we do is build technology and products”

Sullivan interjected: “But you said you’re responsible for your content. Which makes you kind of a publisher, right?”

Zuckerberg’s response: “I agree that we’re responsible for the content, but we don’t produce the content. I think that when people ask us whether we’re a media company or a publisher, my understanding of the heart of what they’re getting at is, do we feel responsibility for the content that’s on our platform.”

“The answer to that I think is clearly yes, but I don’t think that’s incompatible with [what’s] fundamentally at our core, being a technology company where the main thing that we do is have engineers and build products.”

Two months later, Facebook announced a deal with multiple establishment left-leaning news outlets to publish exclusive content. Since then, Facebook has argued in court against the startup company Six4Three that they are, in fact, a publisher. Facebook’s flip-flopping and bending of the truth was not a good look for the company or Zuckerberg as he appeared before Congress. The memes also didn’t help:

3: Accusations of Unhealthy Psychological Effects

In recent months, Facebook has been accused of having negative psychological effects on users, with some claiming that the site is designed to keep users returning. Many have claimed that Facebook can cause addiction-like symptoms in some users, something which the company encourages as it ensures a returning user base.

Facebook’s former company President and Napster co-founder, Sean Parker, claimed in an interview that Facebook was “exploiting” human psychology. Parker discussed the possible negative psychological effects of social media in an interview with Axios. Parker, the Founder and Chair of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, spoke at an Axios event at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, where he discussed social media. Parker described himself as  “something of a conscientious objector” to social media in general.

Parker discussed the number of people that were against social media when Facebook first started, telling Parker that they’d never join the online world as they valued intimacy and living in the moment. Parker was quite confident that before long they’d be scrolling through a newsfeed like two billion other Facebook users:

When Facebook was getting going, I had these people who would come up to me and they would say, ‘I’m not on social media.’ And I would say, ‘OK. You know, you will be. And then they would say, ‘No, no, no. I value my real-life interactions. I value the moment. I value presence. I value intimacy.’ And I would say, … ‘We’ll get you eventually.’

Parker discussed the possible psychological effects of social media and Facebook in particular, especially for children who are now growing up in a digitally connected age:

I don’t know if I really understood the consequences of what I was saying, because [of] the unintended consequences of a network when it grows to a billion or 2 billion people and … it literally changes your relationship with society, with each other … It probably interferes with productivity in weird ways. God only knows what it’s doing to our children’s brains.

Comments such as this from Facebook former President, combined with Facebook’s mishandling of user data, has led to a greater level of distrust around the company. What was previously seen as just a website by many users was becoming better known as a data collection company.

4: Internal Documents Show Facebook Gave 60+ Companies Access to User Data — Including Foreign State-Linked Firms

recent report from the New York Times reveals that Facebook formed “data partnerships” with companies such as Microsoft, Netflix, Amazon, Spotify, and Yahoo, granting these companies access to vast amounts of user data. The report claimed that:

Facebook allowed Microsoft’s Bing search engine to see the names of virtually all Facebook users’ friends without consent, the records show, and gave Netflix and Spotify the ability to read Facebook users’ private messages.

The social network permitted Amazon to obtain users’ names and contact information through their friends, and it let Yahoo view streams of friends’ posts as recently as this summer, despite public statements that it had stopped that type of sharing years earlier.

Interestingly, The New York Times itself was one of the companies allegedly given access to private user data:

Spotify, which could view messages of more than 70 million users a month, still offers the option to share music through Facebook Messenger. But Netflix and the Canadian bank no longer needed access to messages because they had deactivated features that incorporated it.

These were not the only companies that had special access longer than they needed it. Yahoo, The Times and others could still get Facebook users’ personal information in 2017.

Yahoo could view real-time feeds of friends’ posts for a feature that the company had ended in 2011. A Yahoo spokesman declined to discuss the partnership in detail but said the company did not use the information for advertising. The Times — one of nine media companies named in the documents — had access to users’ friend lists for an article-sharing application it also had discontinued in 2011. A spokeswoman for the news organization said it was not obtaining any data. [emphasis ours]

What the report from the New York Times further revealed was that Facebook also used data collected by companies such as Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei for their own products and features. The Times report reveals that Facebook used user data from Amazon, Yahoo and Huawei for their “People You May Know” feature:

The Times reviewed more than 270 pages of reports generated by the system — records that reflect just a portion of Facebook’s wide-ranging deals. Among the revelations was that Facebook obtained data from multiple partners for a controversial friend-suggestion tool called “People You May Know.”

The feature, introduced in 2008, continues even though some Facebook users have objected to it, unsettled by its knowledge of their real-world relationships. Gizmodo and other news outlets have reported cases of the tool’s recommending friend connections between patients of the same psychiatrist, estranged family members, and a harasser and his victim.

Facebook, in turn, used contact lists from the partners, including Amazon, Yahoo and the Chinese company Huawei — which has been flagged as a security threat by American intelligence officials — to gain deeper insight into people’s relationships and suggest more connections, the records show.

In February, the heads of six major intelligence organizations issued a warning in relation to Chinese technology manufacturer Huawei and telecom company  ZTE. The heads of the CIA, FBI, NSA and the director of national intelligence all made a recommendation against using products produced by the tech companies at a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing.

5: Data Leaks, Data Leaks, Data Leaks
While the Cambridge Analytica leak was the biggest leak for Facebook this year, it was far from the only one. Over the past few months, it appears as if Facebook has been announcing a new leak of user information every few weeks. The company claimed that one of the most recent data breaches in October was “nearly undetectable” which should worry many Facebook users.

During an Advertising Week panel in October Facebook’s vice president of global marketing solutions, Carolyn Everson, explained that the company’s latest user data breach which affected the accounts of 50 million people was a “sophisticated attack.” Everson stated: “This was an attack, an attack that would require people to understand three different bugs.”

Everson further said that the attackers were like an “odorless, weightless intruder that walked in” that could only be detected by Facebook “once they made a certain move.” The security bug reportedly related to a vulnerability in Facebook’s “view as” feature which allowed users to see what their own Facebook profile would look like to someone else. This bug allowed hackers to steal the security tokens of other users accounts and use these to then access that user’s account. These security tokens are like digital keys which keep users logged into Facebook so they don’t have to re-login every time they visit the website.

It later came to light that the same security tokens could be used to access accounts of websites that use the “Facebook Login” feature. This means that any third-party app that uses the “Facebook Login” feature could be at risk, including apps such as Instagram, Tinder, Airbnb and many others. Guy Rosen, Facebook’s vice president of product management, stated in the blog post revealing the bug: “The vulnerability was on Facebook, but these access tokens enabled someone to use the account as if they were the account-holder themselves.”

In December, the company announced that a photo sharing bug may have affected 6.8 million users. A post on the company’s developer blog states: “Our internal team discovered a photo API bug that may have affected people who used Facebook Login and granted permission to third-party apps to access their photos. We have fixed the issue but, because of this bug, some third-party apps may have had access to a broader set of photos than usual for 12 days between September 13 to September 25, 2018.”

The post further explains the situation stating: “When someone gives permission for an app to access their photos on Facebook, we usually only grant the app access to photos people share on their timeline. In this case, the bug potentially gave developers access to other photos, such as those shared on Marketplace or Facebook Stories. The bug also impacted photos that people uploaded to Facebook but chose not to post. For example, if someone uploads a photo to Facebook but doesn’t finish posting it — maybe because they’ve lost reception or walked into a meeting — we store a copy of that photo so the person has it when they come back to the app to complete their post.”

These are just some of Facebook’s biggest fails throughout 2018. As 2019 approaches, Facebook and its CEO Mark Zuckerberg should consider a new year’s resolution: Respect user’s privacy, stop censoring the platform, and stop selling their data to large corporations.

William Shatner Shreds #MeToo over ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside’ Hysteria

Actor William Shatner criticized the feminist backlash against the Christmas classic “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” in a recent interview, calling the #MeToo movement “hysterical.”

“In 2018 we have the #MeToo movement, which I think is great, that these hidden forces are exposed and not to be allowed and women have equal rights. I’ve got three daughters [ages 60, 57 and 54], I’m all for that,” William Shatner told Daily Mail.

He continued, “But if you look back at things that were written and said 20, 30 years ago, it’s a different context, and you’ve got to judge it by that context. Rape and pillage, absolutely not — those are crimes against humanity. But saying ‘Would you make love with me?’ and the opposing party says ‘yes’ or ‘no,’ I can’t fathom what’s wrong with that.”

In recent years, many feminists have taken aim at the song popularized by Dean Martin, saying that the male voice in the song is being predatory and not respecting the woman’s rejections.

Others have defended the song, saying that it is playful and that woman is in fact interested in the man, but has to feign rejection because of the sexual mores of post-World War II America.

Deana Martin, the daughter of singer Dean Martin defended Baby It’s Cold Outside in an interview this month, saying she was “absolutely flabbergasted” over the controversy.

“It’s just insane,” she said.

Shatner also criticized the #MeToo movement in general, saying that the dynamic between men and women is totally different now.

“I’ve got three daughters and I’m glad that they have more opportunity. At the same time, it’s become hysterical,” the Star Trek icon said.

“It’s a whole new culture. The whole business has changed. The whole man-woman relationship has changed to a severe degree.”

The 87-year-old actor also commented on sexual harassment training in the workplace, saying, “It’s all about sensitizing you to what is harassment. You might say, as I have on numerous occasions, ‘looking good,’ ‘wow, what a great dress,’ ‘great legs,’ ‘I love your hair.’ Nothing grabby, touchy-feely, nothing sexual,” he said.

“Just innocuous compliments that one might say to anybody, with no intent of lasciviousness,” he said.

In recent weeks, Dean Martin’s version of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” have shot up the digital sales charts.

As expected, Shatner’s comments caused an uproar from many social media users, who criticized him for being tone-deaf to the concerns of women.

However, the Emmy-winning actor was defiant, doubling down on his criticisms and saying that if the movement is not “policed,” it could become like the French Revolution.

Daily Reminder: 65 Countries Have Border Walls and So Does Nancy Pelosi’s Backyard

Daily Reminder: 65 Countries Have Border Walls and So Does Nancy Pelosi’s Backyard

Border Security for me but NOT for thee…

House Speaker-Designate Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told reporters in early December that she will reject ANY AND ALL funding for Trump’s border wall.

Fox News Congress reporter Chad Pergram asked Pelosi, “Would you be willing support some degree of wall funding if you got a permanent bona fide solution on DACA?”

Pelosi quickly shot back without skipping a beat, “No, it’s immoral.”

According to Quebec University expert Elisabeth Vallet. there are 65 completed or under construction border walls in the world today.

At least one-third of the world’s nations have border walls or barriers with their neighbors.

Pelosi believes this is immoral.
Tell that to Israel, Hungary, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Ireland, etc.

Border Walls — Daily Mail

And Nancy Pelosi has a wall around the backyard at her home in San Francisco.

No hypocrisy here!
