FOOD KITS FROM U.S. PROGRAM TO FEED “VULNERABLE” SYRIANS DIVERTED TO TERRORISTS

A multi-billion-dollar government program to feed “vulnerable” Syrians has provided food for jihadist militants in a group designated by the United States as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). American taxpayers have spent a fortune on “emergency food assistance” during the Syrian crisis that began with the 2011 Arab spring and some of it has actually gone to terrorists that hate us and want to kill us. The Al Qaeda affiliate is known as Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham and it aims to establish a regional Islamic caliphate, according to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

Trump Orders Creation of U.S. Space Command to Establish American ‘Dominance’

President Donald Trump on Thursday directed his administration to establish a U.S. Space Command that will help America achieve "dominance in space."

The space command operation, which was directed by the president and will be undertaken by the Defense Department, will be "established as the newest unified combatant command under the Department of Defense and will include forces from all Military Services."

"When it comes to defending America, it is not enough to merely have an American presence in space. We must have American dominance in space." Trump said.

"United States Space Command will be established as the newest unified combatant command under the Department of Defense and will include forces from all military services," according to information provided by the White House.

U.S. Space Command will be comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, and contractors, according to the White House.

Every branch of the U.S. military will participate in the project "to achieve vital victories in space," the White House said.

"Delivering combat power by operating superior space capabilities such as communications, intelligence, navigation, and early missile detection and warning" will be a chief goal of the project.

"The establishment of United States Space Command represents a crucial step to improving the nation’s space war fighting structure in our ever evolving world," the White House said.

The Trump administration is concerned that America’s failure to dominate in space will jeopardize the country’s national security and leave it vulnerable to opposing global powers.

"The United States is reliant on space for everything from vital military systems that protect us to widely used consumer systems that benefit our economy," the White House said. "We have the strongest military in the world, but failure to act now may allow our adversaries to overcome our competitive advantage by denying us access to the space domain."

"Going forward, the United States must have the freedom to take advantage of the untapped opportunities that space presents to our nation," according to the White House.

WATCH: Kennedy Slams Democrats For ‘On-The-Pipe Crazy’ Immigration Stance

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) criticized Democratic lawmakers on Thursday after staffers from the Democrat-led House Oversight Committee were banned from visiting the border due to their previous disruptive behavior.
“Whether you’re a member of Congress or not, if you go to the border you have to follow the rules,” Kennedy told Fox News host Sandra Smith. “It’s not the big rock candy mountain down there, it’s a law enforcement crisis.”

Shots Fired! Rosenstein Slams Comey For His Corruption, Abuse of Power in Wake of DOJ IG Report

Rod Rosenstein

Former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein threw shade at Comey in a series of tweets following the release of the DOJ IG report.

The DOJ Inspector General released a report on James Comey Thursday morning on his mishandling of memos he drafted stemming from nine conversations he had with President Trump.

Although it was determined that Comey violated FBI policies pertaining to retention, handling and dissemination of FBI records and information, Barr declined prosecution.

The IG report concluded that Comey “set a dangerous example for the over 35,000 current FBI employees.”

Without mentioning Comey’s name, Rosenstein criticized the former FBI Director on Twitter.

“It is important .. to follow established policies and procedures, especially when the stakes are high…. We should be most on guard when we believe that our own uncomfortable .. circumstances justify ignoring .. principles respected by our predecessors.” Rosenstein said.

Rosenstein linked to a June 2018 letter he sent to Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) that highlighted the importance of “following established policies and procedures.”

Rosenstein fought back against critics and roasted Comey AGAIN for his hypocrisy and abuse of power.

The former DAG linked to a July 2016 WaPo article blasting Comey for usurping the DOJ, holding a press conference where he publicly announced he would not be charging Hillary Clinton.

Both Comey and Rosenstein participated in the failed coup to remove Trump from the White House, but they turned on each other after Spygate began to unravel.

The Inspector General is preparing to release another report on FISA abuse any time between mid-September and early October.

Rosenstein, who is incredibly corrupt, signed the June 2017 FISA warrant to spy on Carter Page one month after he appointed Robert Mueller as special counsel so he really has no room to talk about principles.

Biden on Detention Facilities: ‘We Don’t Need Them’

Former vice president and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden told a town hall audience Thursday that the United States does not need migrant detention facilities.

Biden was taking questions in Rockville, S.C., when an attendee asked him for the justification for holding migrants and expanding detention facilities if those facilities could not ensure their safety. She also asked Biden what he would do to help reunite separated families.

"Close them down," Biden answered, to cheers from the crowd. "By the way, we don’t need them. We found that when we were in office…if you would say ‘you have to report back for a hearing on such-and-such date,’ people show up. You don’t have to keep kids in a cage. There should be no justification separating a parent from a child."

Biden was describing the now-defunct "catch-and-release" policy, which some border agents considered a troublesome loophole in immigration enforcement. Trump got rid of it.

Biden specified his plan is to provide legal status for some children, known as Dreamers, brought to the U.S. illegally. His plan also requests Congress create a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented immigrants.

"Number one, we legalize the Dreamers. Number two, I would send immediately an amendment to the desk of the United States Senate and the House of Representatives, a bill to the desk that said the following: We have to find a pathway to earned citizenship for the 11 million undocumented," Biden said.

In May, images of migrant children sleeping on detention facility floors went viral on Twitter as viewers assumed the photos were recent and a result of  President Trump’s policies. The images were taken in 2014 during the Obama administration. Obama officials said the photos only depicted detained children that arrived in the U.S. unaccompanied by an adult. Criticism of the Trump administration’s detention facilities continued, and in June, he signed an executive order to end family separation in detention facilities.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported over 76,000 migrants who came into the United States from Mexico in February. That is more than twice the amount of migrants from February 2018. The increased number is due to the growing amount of migrant family groups.

Exclusive–Man Accused of Murdering Margery Magill Came to U.S. as Refugee

The man accused of stabbing 27-year-old Margery Magill to death in a Northwest Washington, DC, neighborhood came to the United States as a refugee from Ethiopia, Breitbart News has confirmed.

On Tuesday evening, police say Margery Magill — a University of California, Davis graduate — was walking a dog for the app service Rover when she was randomly attacked and stabbed by 24-year-old Eliyas Aregahegne.

A law enforcement official confirmed to Breitbart News that Aregahegne originally arrived in the U.S. from Ethiopia in November 1999, coming as the child of a refugee. Years later, in 2012, Aregahegne became a naturalized U.S. citizen.

Neighbors told NBC News they could hear screams from Magill and eventually found her stabbed on the sidewalk. Police were called to the scene and Magill was taken to a nearby hospital where she died from her injuries.

Police arrested Aregahegne at his home around the corner from where Magill was found. He has been charged with first-degree murder.

Margery Magill, 27-years-old, was allegedly stabbed by a man who first arrived in the U.S. as a refugee from Ethiopia. (Facebook)

Magill’s father, Jeffrey Magill, told NBC News that his daughter was “just a sweet, life-loving person” who “cared about people” and “was just a joy.”

“She would just live life. You know, she loved life and she would just live with an edge from the time she got up in the morning to the time she went to bed at night,” Jeffrey Magill said.

Magill was currently working as a program director at The Washington Center, a nonprofit that helps graduate students find jobs and internships. She previously worked at the Jane Goodall Institute.

Magill’s family said she loved to travel and visited 22 countries around the world. Her sister, Raeann Magill, told NBC News that she loved Washington, DC.

“She loved the city. She loved the energy,” Raeann said. “She really wanted to build her career here and thrive off of the energy that was Washington, D.C.”

Trump’s Fight Against Progressive Agenda at the G-7 Will Pay Off

President Donald Trump successfully navigated the minefields laid for him at last weekend’s G-7 summit in France. It wasn’t easy, but in the process he pushed back against the progressive agenda in ways that will benefit him politically.

Progressive European Union bureaucrats use various techniques trying to keep the EU together and keep taxpayer money flowing to Brussels. One of their favorite ploys is to propose big government solutions to huge problems—such as climate change or inequality—that will never be completely eliminated.

Such proposals translate into lifetime job security for the bureaucrats and lucrative government contracts for their “woke” corporate cronies. Bureaucrats in the U.S. government do the same thing.

In this context, it was no surprise to see French President Emmanuel Macron harp about the fires in the Amazon in the weeks leading up to the G-7. Macron started a bitter personal feud with Brazil’s new right-wing president, Jair Bolsonaro.

Bolsonaro, for all his faults (he has been called the “Trump of Brazil”), represents the same disruptive threat to the international progressive agenda that Trump does.

If the issue were really environmental policy, Macron and previous European leaders would have piped up long before now. After all, AccuWeather reports that fires during the dry season in the Amazon basin have been just as bad, or worse, in seven of the last 17 years (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010, and 2016).

Moreover, The New York Times reports that “most of the fires [in the Brazilian Amazon basin] are burning on agricultural land where the forest had already been cleared.”

Unfortunately, many of these fires were set by farmers to fertilize their fields. It’s an ancient, primitive, and backward Third World farming technique, to be sure. But it is not the destruction of virgin rain forest.

There are also fires being set by peasant farmers in Bolivia’s Amazon basin so that they may take advantage of jungle land given to them by leftist Bolivian President Evo Morales as part of his ongoing wealth re-distribution schemes.

Funny though, we heard plenty about the “villainous” Bolsonaro at the G-7, but nary a peep about Morales.

In any case, all of these facts didn’t stop the climate change lobby and its mainstream media cheerleaders from whipping up some hysteria about Bolsonaro’s supposed war on the environment.

The fact that these attacks came in the run-up to the G-7 gave away the game: The real target was Trump, who pulled the U.S. out of the Paris climate agreement. In this case, Bolsonaro was just a proxy for Trump.

And who stands to gain from that Paris agreement? Well, France does, for starters. Where better to establish a gigantic public sector clearinghouse to supervise the sale to fossil fuel sinners of carbon indulgences? And who would staff that huge secretariat? You guessed it: French bureaucrats with lifetime job security.

No wonder Macron took the lead on putting climate on the G-7 agenda.

Macron also pulled the last-minute dirty trick of inviting the Iranian foreign minister to the G-7 meeting to embarrass Trump. The French and the Germans are still angry about Trump pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal that they and President Barack Obama signed.

The U.S. sanctions imposed on Iran by Trump have made it difficult for the Europeans to sell their high-tech manufactured goods to the brutal regime in Tehran. Apparently they are not much bothered by Iran posing an existential threat to Israel. After all, there’s money to be made selling to Iran.

Trump was right to push back against climate and the other “niche” agenda items (as the White House described them) and insist that the G-7 leaders focus on the big economic policy questions. That necessary and useful discussion to coordinate economic policies at the G-7 took place under the large shadow cast by China.

Trump has reasserted American leadership in the world, most especially by taking on the increasingly aggressive and predatory actions of China under President Xi Jinping that have upended the global trading system.

China has also committed other “deadly sins” (as White House trade adviser Peter Navarro would say), including the theft of intellectual property, forced tech transfers, and cyberwarfare.

And China’s actions affect not just the United States but market-based democracies all over the world. The other G-7 leaders were probably privately delighted that the U.S. has finally taken the lead in confronting Beijing.

It’s lonely at the top, as Trump was reminded yet again at another summit. But it’s a fight worth fighting, for America and for the free world.

Biologically Male College Runner Switches to Women’s Team for Senior Year

A biologically male runner in the NCAA’s top division is competing in women’s cross country this fall.

June Eastwood, who identifies as a transgender woman, will represent the University of Montana at a cross country meet Saturday.

dailycallerlogo

Eastwood competed on the men’s track and cross country teams through May 2018, the Bozeman Daily Chronicle reported. “I felt like I still had more years in me, and that I would regret it later on if I didn’t at least try to do what I am doing,” Eastwood told the local paper, describing the decision to compete on the women’s team.

“Our goal is to be supportive of all student athletes. I understand there will be varying opinions,” University Athletic Director Kent Haslam told The Daily Caller News Foundation in an email. “We have followed the NCAA bylaws and policies in place when it comes to inclusion of transgender student-athletes and participation in intercollegiate athletic competition.”

“I am not in a position to know if June will gain an unfair advantage. It is not my area of expertise and therefore we rely on the policies as set by the NCAA,” Haslam added.

NCAA policy requires male runners who identify as transgender women to suppress testosterone levels for a full calendar year before competing in women’s athletics. The NCAA published an explainer in 2011 calling it “not well founded” to assume “that being born with a male body automatically gives a transgender woman an unfair advantage when competing against non-transgender women.”

Male athletes who identify as transgender women have an “intolerable” advantage over their female competitors, even after suppressing their testosterone levels, a June paper published in the Journal of Medical Ethics concluded.

Eastwood’s personal bests as a male runner would shatter records in the women’s category, running blog LetsRun noted.

Eastwood’s switch to the women’s team comes as male athletes have racked up victories in women’s athletics.

Franklin Pierce University runner CeCe Telfer, a biological male who identifies as a transgender woman, won an NCAA Division II women’s track and field championship in May. Telfer competed on the men’s team before switching to women’s events.

Telfer denied having an unfair advantage over female runners in a June interview with ESPN. “If anything, me competing against cisgender females is a disadvantage because my body is going through so many medical implications, like it’s going through biochemistry changes,” Telfer told ESPN.

Two biologically male runners, both of whom identify as transgender girls, have dominated girls’ high school track in Connecticut. One of their female competitors, Selina Soule, has spoken out against the male runners’ advantages.
