ANALYSIS: How Donald Trump Physically Dominated the G7 Summit

President Donald J. Trump asserted an imposing physical dominance over his fellow world leaders at the G7 Summit in France, a Free Beacon analysis has found.

Using a number of advanced techniques deployed by elite negotiators, President Trump successfully demonstrated physical supremacy over his so-called peers.  According to the analysis, Trump’s unapologetic display of American dominance stands in marked contrast to the supine deference of his predecessor, Barack Obama.

Here’s a sampling of what our analysts found:

Narendra Modi (India)

Boris Johnson (Great Britain)

Justin Trudeau (Canada)

Emmanuel Macron (France)

Planned Parenthood Whistleblower Wins $3 Million

A former Planned Parenthood employee won a $3 million lawsuit stemming from her firing after she alerted supervisors to potential malpractice and illegal activities at several Planned Parenthood locations in Arizona.

A jury unanimously ruled that Planned Parenthood illegally terminated Marya Rodriguez from her job as administrator of Glendale and Phoenix-area facilities.

"I hope my case is a lesson to other workers that shows them that the truth will prevail. I also hope my case is a lesson to employers who abuse their power: sometimes the underdog wins and justice will be done," Rodriguez, who worked at Planned Parenthood for 17 years, said in a statement.

In August 2017, she alerted officials at the nation’s largest abortion provider that one doctor was linked to a number of women who suffered complications after their abortions. Rodriguez learned that the same doctor had medical assistants sign affidavits saying his medical operations succeeded without a hitch—before the procedures even took place. In one case, Rodriguez said the doctor couldn’t say for sure whether he actually completed the abortion; after an ultrasound showed that the operation was incomplete, the woman had to re-do it.

In another case, she said one manager broke the law by neglecting to inform authorities when a minor with an adult partner requested an abortion.

Rodriguez said in her lawsuit that she diligently reported to her supervisors these and other medical incidents and illegal activities that she witnessed.

Then, in late September, Planned Parenthood threatened termination on grounds that she failed to follow the organization’s administrative rules and perform her daily duties. She reported the threat to a human resources director as a "form of a harassment."

Soon after, Rodriguez was fired when her supervisor claimed to find narcotics in her desk. Rodriguez claimed in her lawsuit that the supposed narcotics were in fact medication, and that staff would routinely store medicine in their desks before handing it over to the purchasing department.

After her termination, Rodriguez connected with And Then There Were None, a pro-life organization focused on engaging with abortion clinic workers. The organization helped her find legal representation when she sued Planned Parenthood.

"When Mayra came to And Then There Were None with her incredible story, I felt solidarity with her, having gone through a similar situation when I worked for Planned Parenthood," Abby Johnson, founder of the pro-life organization and a former Planned Parenthood director, said in a release. "Standing with her through the trial and rejoicing in the ultimate victory has been amazing."

Planned Parenthood, which did not respond to request for comment, told Arizona Central that Arizona’s Department of Health Services and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration routinely evaluate its medical employees, and that those state and federal agencies did not find the malpractices alleged by Rodriguez.

Ex-Federal Reserve Official Bill Dudley Calls on Fed to Manipulate Economy to Stymie Trump’s Reelection

Former New York Fed President Bill Dudley on Tuesday called on the Federal Reserve to manipulate the economy to stymie President Trump’s reelection. Dudley made the plea in an op-ed published by Bloomberg News. Dudley argued that Trump’s effort to reset trade with China is hurting the economy and that the Fed should enact policies that hinder Trump and hurt his reelection chances.

President Trump has been fighting the Fed over rising interest rates and a too rapid pullback on quantitative easing that stifled the nascent economic boom stemming from Trump’s economic policies and tax cuts. The Fed has since cut interest rates but not enough for Trump who is calling for another one percent reduction and to consider some quantitative easing.

Excerpt from Dudley’s op-ed:

U.S. President Donald Trump’s trade war with China keeps undermining the confidence of businesses and consumers, worsening the economic outlook. This manufactured disaster-in-the-making presents the Federal Reserve with a dilemma: Should it mitigate the damage by providing offsetting stimulus, or refuse to play along?

…I understand and support Fed officials’ desire to remain apolitical. But Trump’s ongoing attacks on Powell and on the institution have made that untenable. Central bank officials face a choice: enable the Trump administration to continue down a disastrous path of trade war escalation, or send a clear signal that if the administration does so, the president, not the Fed, will bear the risks — including the risk of losing the next election.

There’s even an argument that the election itself falls within the Fed’s purview. After all, Trump’s reelection arguably presents a threat to the U.S. and global economy, to the Fed’s independence and its ability to achieve its employment and inflation objectives. If the goal of monetary policy is to achieve the best long-term economic outcome, then Fed officials should consider how their decisions will affect the political outcome in 2020.

Dudley’s bio accompanying the op-ed: “Bill Dudley is a senior research scholar at Princeton University’s Center for Economic Policy Studies. He served as president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from 2009 to 2018, and as vice chairman of the Federal Open Market Committee. He was previously chief U.S. economist at Goldman Sachs.”

Trump has not responded so far to Dudley. However, Trump did tweet about the Fed on Tuesday, saying, “The Federal Reserve loves watching our manufacturers struggle with their exports to the benefit of other parts of the world. Has anyone looked at what almost all other countries are doing to take advantage of the good old USA? Our Fed has been calling it wrong for too long!”

NY Times Columnist Offended By ‘Bedbugs’ Crack, Compared Conservatives to Tyrants, Drug Addicts

Don’t be cruel to Bret Stephens. The New York Times columnist, who compared Republicans to murderous dictators and said the “serpent” Ted Cruz would sell his family into slavery, doesn’t like being called a “bedbug.” Not only that, he’ll complain to your boss if you do such a thing.

New York Times’ Bret Stephens Loses His Mind Over Being Called a Bed Bug After it Was Revealed the Paper’s Office is Infested

New York Times op-ed columnist Bret Stephens is having a bad day after snitching to the boss of a professor who wrote a funny viral tweet comparing him to a bed bug when news broke that the newspaper’s office is infested.

Stephens has now deleted his Twitter account amid massive backlash and mockery.

On Monday afternoon, a Times editor had posted that their newsroom was infested with bed bugs. George Washington University professor David Karpf saw an opening and made the joke that “the bedbugs are a metaphor. The bedbugs are Bret Stephens.”

Karpf’s harmless joke initially gained little traction, but has now gone viral after he posted that Stephens had emailed his boss over it.

“This afternoon, I tweeted a brief joke about a well-known NYT op-Ed columnist,” Karpf wrote Monday night. “It got 9 likes and 0 retweets. I did not @ him. He does not follow me. He just emailed me, cc’ing my university provost. He is deeply offended that I called him a metaphorical bedbug.”

After many people asked to see the email, Karpf posted it in full.

“I’m often amazed about the things supposedly decent people are prepared to say about other people — people they’ve never met — on Twitter. I think you’ve set a new standard,” Stephens wrote in an email in which the university’s provost was also copied. “I would welcome the opportunity for you to come to my home, meet my wife and kids, talk to us for a few minutes, and then call me a ‘bedbug’ to my face. That would take some genuine courage and intellectual integrity on your part. I promise to be courteous no matter what you have to say.”

GW University responded publicly, defending their professor’s right to free speech.

The writer went on MSNBC Live Tuesday on Tuesday morning to defend his decision to snitch to the professor’s boss over a joke.

“All I would say is that using dehumanizing rhetoric like bedbugs or, you know, analogizing people to insects, is always wrong,” Stephens said. “There’s a bad history of being analogized to insects that goes back to a lot of totalitarian regimes in the past.”

“Maybe it will make you feel better about yourself,” Stephens continued. “Please consider this a standing invitation. You are more than welcome to bring your significant other.”

Naturally, the overly sensitive opinion writer is being ruthlessly mocked and trending on Twitter.

Fifth illegal alien arrested on rape charges in a month in sanctuary MD county

It’s not clear how many times this needs to happen before the sanctuary politicians are willing to recognize there’s a sex offender problem among illegal aliens, but it appears there is now a fifth case of an illegal alien alleged rape in Montgomery County, Maryland, in a month.

According to ICE spokeswoman Justine Whelan, “On Aug. 14, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement lodged a detainer with Montgomery County Detention Center on unlawfully present Salvadoran national Nelson Saul Reyes-Medrano following his arrest for rape and other related charges.”

Thanks to the terrific and rare acts of journalism performed by local ABC reporter Kevin Lewis, four previous cases of illegal aliens arrested for rape in the Maryland sanctuary county have come to light this month. If not for his reporting, we would likely never know about these cases. But Lewis recognizes that sanctuary cities either serving as a magnet for sex offenders or sometimes even releasing them in defiance of federal immigration law is a big story. On numerous occasions, CR has been the first outlet to report the immigration status of those who’ve committed high-profile crimes in a given area, ignored by local media. If there was a Kevin Lewis in every major media market, the country would learn the true extent of the illegal alien sex offender problem and the danger of sanctuary cities.

As Lewis notes, Montgomery County, like most jurisdictions, refuses to collect data on the number of rapes (or other crimes) committed by illegal aliens, so there is no way to quantify how often this happens. In one recent case, Montgomery County released a rape suspect in defiance of an ICE detainer.

Montgomery County, with its large population of illegal aliens from El Salvador, has also become a hotbed for MS-13 activity.

Another interesting note is that this suspect supposedly has 10 children. How many of them were born here against the will and laws of the American people, yet thanks to erroneous policies, we are now stuck with them? One of the other accused rapists from this month, Kevin Mendoza, was allegedly trying to rape a 12-year-old girl while his wife was giving birth to a baby who will be regarded as American.

The only question remaining is whether Republicans and the Trump administration will make Montgomery County the rallying cry to declare war on sanctuary cities and weak-on-crime jurisdictions the same way the Left is making El Paso the rallying cry to infringe upon constitutional rights? Or will both parties continue to cover up the child sex problem among illegal aliens and the role sanctuaries play in enabling them to remain here?

Google Falls to Third Place in Race to Install Surveillance Devices in Homes

Tech giant Google has reportedly dropped to third place in the worldwide smart speaker market. Although Amazon rules the market for devices always listening to their customers, Chinese tech giant Baidu has now overtaken Google in the race to install speakers in homes.

TechCrunch reports that Silicon Valley giant Google has fallen to third place in the worldwide smart speaker market which has grown by 55.4 percent in the second quarter with a total of 26.1 million shipments according to a report from Canalys.

Google’s Home smart speaker was beaten by China’s Baidu which grew by 3,700 percent in Q2 reaching 4.5 million units. In the same time period, Google shipped 4.3 million units. Both are still dominated by Amazon, the leading player in the smart speaker market.

Canalys Research Analyst Cynthia Chen commented on Baidu’s growth attributing it to aggressive marketing and go-to-market campaigns. “Local network operators’ interests on the [smart display] device category soared recently. This bodes well for Baidu as it faces little competition in the smart display category, allowing the company to dominate in the operator channel,” Chen noted.

The report from Canalys suggested that Google create a new smart speaker device in order to excite users again and improve interest. The Google Home device has not updated since it was launched in 2016 while the Google Home Mini comes in multiple colors but has not added any significant features since it was launched.

In comparison, Amazon has updated its Echo devices on multiple occasions now and has even created devices with screens that use the Amazon Alexa technology. Both Amazon and Google focused their attention on non-U.S. markets in Q2 according to the report with 50 percent of Amazon’s smart speaker shipments and 55 percent of Google’s smart speaker shipments happening outside the U.S.
