Vote recount could possibly end Israel’s electoral morass

Vote recount could possibly end Israel’s electoral morassIsrael’s President Rivlin is due to make a decision on October 24 on whether to extend for another 14 days the mandate he granted to Benjamin Netanyahu to form Israel’s next Government.

Reports that Rivlin will not give Netanyahu that 14 days extension—even if requested by Netanyahu—seems counterproductive to doing everything possible to avoid a third election within 12 months.

The President should also take advantage of that 14-day period to order a recount of votes to answer a query that the September election results have thrown up—which is encapsulated in this email I sent to the Central Elections Committee on 29 September:

“I would be pleased if you could give me an explanation to my following comment relating to the final count in the September 2019 elections:

Investigation Into Hillary’s Emails Concludes, Nearly 600 Security Violations Found

State Department investigators concluded their investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server and found nearly 600 security violations, according to newly released government documents.

The results from the investigation were disclosed in a letter last week to Senate Finance Committee Chairman Charles Grassley (R-IA) from Bureau of Legislative Affairs Assistant Secretary Mary Elizabeth Taylor.

The investigation, which was finished along with the report in early September, found that 38 individuals were culpable for 91 security violations along with 497 additional security violations that were found where no individual was found to bear culpability.

“For current and former officials, culpability means the violations will be noted in their files and will be considered when they apply for or renew security clearances,” the Associated Press reported. “For current officials, there could also be disciplinary action, though it’s unclear how they could potentially be reprimanded.”

The State Department began reviewing Clinton’s emails in 2016 “after declaring 22 emails from Clinton’s private server to be ‘top secret,’” the Associated Press added.

The State Department’s investigation commenced after the FBI decided not to challenge Clinton at the conclusion of its criminal investigation into her private email server. Clinton was the Democratic Party nominee for president at the time.

The FBI’s decision to not charge Clinton with a felony has come under intense scrutiny after it was revealed that anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok “edited a key phrase that removed possible legal implications,” The Hill reported.

“One source told [CNN] that electronic records reveal that Strzok changed the language from ‘grossly negligent’ to ‘extremely careless,’ scrubbing a key word that could have had legal ramifications for Clinton,” The Hill added. “An individual who mishandled classified material could be prosecuted under federal law for ‘gross negligence.’”

Anti-Trump FBI lawyer Lisa Page, who was allegedly romantically involved with Strzok, reportedly testified last year that FBI officials discussed charging Clinton, but were ultimately denied by Obama’s Justice Department.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch met with Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, in June 2016 on a tarmac in Phoenix, Arizona.

Lynch refused to recuse herself from the investigation after meeting with former President Clinton on the tarmac, and said that she would accept whatever former FBI Director James Comey recommended in the case.

The criminal investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server was ultimately reopened after the FBI found emails pertinent to the investigation on Anthony Weiner’s laptop.

Weiner was married to Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin, and was under investigation by the FBI over sexual communications that he had with a minor, which ultimately landed him in prison.

Clinton went on to lose the 2016 election and has spent the last three years blaming nearly everything in existence for her loss to President Donald Trump.

Clinton has gone as far as to recently claim that Trump is an “illegitimate” president, which strongly suggests that she has still not accepted the results of the 2016 election, something that she explicitly warned Trump against doing in 2016.

“To say you won’t respect the results of the election, that is a direct threat to our democracy,” Clinton said in October 2016. “The peaceful transfer of power is one of the things that makes America America.”

“And look, some people are sore losers, and we just got to keep going,” she added.

CNN Upset Over Mexican Cooperation with Trump on Border Control

CNN is upset because President Donald Trump’s border control policies are working so well thanks in large part to the cooperation of the Mexican government. And it is that cooperation with Mexico that also irks Univision anchor Jorge Ramos from whom it is obvious CNN got many of their talking points.

Violent fantasies: Streisand tweets impaled Trump, Dhvani gags POTUS

It was just a few short days ago that Trump critics and some supporters were condemning a doctored video of President Trump violently assaulting members of the press and others. The video was shown during a political conference and few people actually saw it. Thanks to social media, though, millions of others saw it.

Fast forward to this weekend. It is as though the left and anti-Trump forces are hypocrites or something. The violence wished upon President Trump from them is right in front of us. Taking a page from the Kathy Griffin book of political activism, singer/actress and devoted hater of Trump, Barbra Streisand, tweeted out a gruesome drawing of President Trump impaled by a Louboutin stiletto heel – an expensive shoe brand instantly recognizable for its red soles. (a.k.a. red bottoms.) Pelosi is lettered on the shoe’s heel. It was Streisand’s homage to Pelosi’s infamous temper tantrum during her last face-to-face meeting with the president and congressional leaders.

Streisand also tweeted out a drawing from a New York Magazine article advocating for Trump’s impeachment. The drawing is a giant peach (get it?) squashing Trump. A little too on the nose, but the message is clear.

Perhaps Ms. Streisand will receive a visit from the Secret Service as Kathy Griffin did. That impalement image is a lot stronger and more violent than the standard lame drawings of Trump from his opponents.

The second example from this weekend’s Trump Derangement Syndrome watch comes from a small athletic wear company based in Portland, Oregon, Dhvani. They sell $58 yoga pants, among other clothing items. The company paid for a thirty-foot billboard in Times Square depicting Trump being hogtied in front of the White House by an angry woman in athletic wear. The model playing Trump is a former Marine, now a middle school teacher. I wonder what he’ll have to say to his students about this.

Another image was tweeted out of the Trump model being gagged, surrounded by five women models. Dhvani is taking aim at the Trump administration’s efforts to block federal funding for Planned Parenthood. The president needs a gag order, you see. Marketing experts are split in their opinions of the effectiveness of this ad, though they all agree that this is “the most extreme example of politically charged advertising to date.” Dhvani has a goal of “creating change in the world.”

The idea began with “a lightning bolt of inspiration” over the summer, Dhvani’s chief executive, Avi Brown, said in an interview Friday with The Post. The billboard shows a Trump impersonator being tied up by model Michal Mesa, a Marine Corps veteran and middle school teacher.

Symbolism figures heavily in the photo, Brown said. The red, white and blue rope was inspired by Wonder Woman’s “truth lasso,” while the looming storm “represents the inevitable and supernatural power of justice.” The impersonator’s face, he said, is pixelated, though that is not obvious in photographs. “We certainly know who it evokes, but it’s not that person,” he said. “It’s more of a metaphorical statement.”

The marketing campaign, which was photographed in August, also includes images of a Trump impersonator being bound, gagged and shushed. In one photo, a model is holding his phone while he is sitting on a golden toilet, pants pulled down around his ankles. In another, a woman is pulling a piece of duct tape over his mouth.

“This is about giving a voice to women,” said Brown, 46, who founded the company last year. “Our intent is for our brand to stand for progressive change in the face of what we perceive to be steps backward in the evolution of our country.”

Well, Avi Brown may want to use his little clothing company to advance his political ideology but he eliminates about half of his potential buyers by doing so. Perhaps after the response that his company’s tweets have received, he’ll get a clearer picture of retail consumerism. Brown is “fed up” and supports impeachment. This campaign was created in August, by the way, and therefore ahead of the dumb video’s release at that conservative political conference.

“We’ve never taken a political stand before but frankly, we were fed up,” Brown said, adding he was inspired by Nike’s advertising campaign with Colin Kaepernick — the former NFL quarterback who sparked a movement by his refusal to stand during the national anthem to protest racial inequality and police brutality. “This is just saying: Let’s put a gag order on him. Enough is enough. We support impeachment.”

That’s standard rhetoric from the authoritarian left these days. If someone vocalizes a different political opinion, that person must be dehumanized and told to shut up. In this case, a model playing President Trump is literally being gagged. Their protest of the Trump administration’s “gag rule” prohibiting doctors at Planned Parenthood Title X-funded clinics from referring patients for abortions also morphs into a cry for impeachment. Mr. Brown said he is “rebranding Dhvani as an “Activ(ist)Wear” company and will donate a portion of its proceeds to nonprofits that provide health care to women.” Planned Parenthood, however, doesn’t want Brown’s money. At least not from this violent campaign.

“Our staff members have faced threats and acts of violence for doing their jobs, and many of our patients turn to us as their safe space for care after facing violence in their lives,” Melanie Newman, senior vice president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, said in a statement. “We do not condone violence or violent imagery against anyone.”

Even Planned Parenthood doesn’t want to stand with this garbage advertising campaign.

Coach Quickly Disarms Student with Shotgun Then Embraces Him in Video

Surveillance footage from a possible school shooting and suicide attempt in May has been released, showing how an Oregon high school coach helped avert a tragedy.

Keanon Lowe, a football and track coach who also served as a security guard at Portland’s Parkrose High School, managed to disarm a disturbed 18-year-old who’d come to school with a loaded shotgun, intent on ending his own life, according to KSAZ-TV.

And after the danger was clear, Lowe gave the young man a hug.

During the May 17 incident, the student, identified as Angel Granados-Diaz, was apparently distraught over the end of a romantic relationship, KSAZ-TV reported.

In the newly released video surveillance footage, Lowe, a former wide receiver for the University of Oregon Ducks, can be seen holding the shotgun he took away from Granados-Diaz in one hand.

Lowe’s other arm was firmly around the confused student’s shoulders as he moved the teen in close for a protective embrace.

Lowe passed the firearm off to a nearby staff member and turned his full attention to Granados-Diaz.

Despite the teen’s attempt to break free from the coach’s bear hug, Lowe clung on, holding the teen tightly and moving him down the hallway, far away from the classroom where Granados-Diaz had planned to end his life.

The shotgun had only one round in it, according to KATU.

Granados-Dias told authorities he wanted to kill himself, but didn’t want to do it at home where his mother would find the body, according to The Oregonian.

“I saw the look in his face, look in his eyes, looked at the gun, realized it was a real gun, and then my instincts just took over,” Lowe said at the time, according to KSAZ.

Lowe, who played with the Ducks until 2014, worked for a time as an analyst with the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers, according to Heavy.com. He joined the staff at Parkrose High in March 2018 to be a leader and mentor to young students much like himself.

He never dreamed how much he would have at stake — but times of crisis can bring out the hero inside.

“When I signed up to be a Security Guard, Football and Track & Field Coach for Parkrose High School, I did so to guide and coach young people whose shoes I had once been in,” Lowe wrote in a Twitter post the day after the incident.

“I had no idea, that I would one day have to put my life on the line like I did yesterday for my students.”

According to The Oregonian, Granados-Diaz, now 19, was sentenced on Oct. 10 to three years of probation and mental health treatment.

He has been in jail for the past five months and was expected to be released within days.

INTERVIEW (Part II): Dan Crenshaw On How To Solve The Border Crisis, And How Conservatives Can Get The Message Out

In fiscal year 2018, there were approximately 396,579 apprehensions of illegal immigrants at the southern border of the United States, according to Pew Research. The organization estimates that there are roughly 10.5 million illegal immigrants currently residing in the United States today.

Despite efforts by the Trump administration to enhance border security, and by Republicans to draft legislation that would help resolve the crisis, little has been accomplished.

Although Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), who represents Texas’ Second Congressional District, has only been in office since January 2019, he’s already made waves in multiple policy debates, including those which impact the illegal immigration and border crisis.

On Friday, I had the opportunity to speak with Rep. Crenshaw about these issues. In part two of this interview, Crenshaw discusses visa overstays, what to do with the millions of illegal immigrants already here, how Republicans can effectively communicate conservative ideas while progressives run the game, how to explain these ideas compassionately, and more.

Before reading on, make sure to check out part one here.

DW: Turning away specifically from the border, what can be done about visa overstays?

CRENSHAW: That’s an interesting question. I think for a lot of voters, they can’t even have that conversation until they feel like their border is secure. That’s always step one, because while you can deal with visa overstays, you still have this influx. It’s like bailing out a rowboat with a big hole in the bottom of it. You’ve got to fix the hole first, and then you’ve got to deal with the water that’s in there. That’s what we’re going to face, hopefully after we finally fix our border problems. The frustrating thing about that is I’ve laid out very clear solutions to fixing the border. We know exactly what to do, and we just need to do it.

Then we have to ask ourselves questions. Okay, what are you going to do with the estimated 10 to 20 million illegal immigrants here? Well, if they’ve been committing some crimes, been in and out of jail, I think the answer is easy. They should be deported. But what about those who aren’t? Okay, what about those who have been here for a while? They’re here illegally. They had a visa. They did it the right way, but they overstayed their visa? You’re not going to round them up and deport them. That’s not realistic. So, what do you do? There are a lot of ideas out there, and I’m not sure which one we eventually fall on, but it involves questions like, do they pay some kind of restitution? They broke the law. Shouldn’t they be punished for that in the form of some kind of fee or fine? Yeah, maybe that’s it. What should that fine be?

Those are the questions we have to ask ourselves. Then what do they get out of that? Do they get an extended visa? How long is that visa extended for? Is it a work visa? Should they ever be eligible for citizenship? I would argue probably not because they broke the law, and there’s no reason to give them a forward place in the line in front of legal immigrants who’ve done it the right way. There’s a sense of justice, I think. There’s the conversation about justice that we have to have here and intertwine that with our sense of reality about what can be done and what the best way forward is.

DW: How can Republicans effectively communicate these ideas to the public while the Democrats are essentially running the narrative game?

CRENSHAW: In all of the same ways that I already discussed. With social media. People like to see the videos on it. People like to have things explained in a conversational tone, and show them. I think that it just gains the trust of people. That’s why I would go to the border and create videos about that. You have to show them. You have to speak to experts, not just me repeating talking points. I’m actually talking to the people who deal with this every single day and providing the facts, and the American people are smart enough to sift through that.

DW: The Left often accuses conservatives of dehumanization on the immigration issue. How can conservatives offer solutions without appearing to dehumanize the situation?

CRENSHAW: That’s a combination of conservatives often using the wrong rhetoric, but also the Left, I think, improperly portraying our rhetoric as well. The consequences have been that it seems as if conservatives vilify illegal immigrants, which is actually why when I point to the problems of an open border, I never say, “Oh, it’s because of the drugs and the crime.” I never say that, because it’s too easy for the Left to say, “Oh, see? That’s how they see immigrants.” It’s not a good look, and it doesn’t help us solve the problem.

What I say is, listen, it’s unsustainable. We have almost a million people crossing illegally a year. It’s not sustainable, and it lacks respect for the sovereignty of our country and the management of our own borders. Also, it cuts in front of the line of legal immigrants. Sorry. None of that is good. None of that is moral. It’s not moral to cut in front of legal immigrants who wanted to do it the right way, so why should we reward that? It’s a better message so that we’re not vilifying people. Let’s assume they’re all great people. That’s not the question. The question is, do we have a system and do we enforce basic rule of law?

DW: So what is your hope over the next, say, decade of policy on this area?

CRENSHAW: My hope is just the solutions that I outlined earlier. You’ve got to fix the border first. We have very clear ideas on how to do that, and it really just comes down to a commitment to law enforcement. That’s what I want to see. Ten years is unfortunately the short term. If we can solve the border issues within the next ten years, then we can finally set the stage for a better conversation about overall immigration reform.

DW: Lastly, is there anything pertaining to the border discussion or immigration discussion that you would want our readership or the public at large to know that we haven’t talked about?

CRENSHAW: I would say this, actually. You’ve seen a drop in illegal immigration crossings over the last couple of months, and people should understand why that is. The first reason, maybe the most insignificant though, is the fact that it was hot out. It’s the summertime. There are fewer crossings during the summer. But more importantly was actually our relationship with Mexico. The Mexican government was doing more to secure their own border, and also the “Remain in Mexico” policy, which is probably the most important part.

The Migrant Protection Protocols, or the “Remain in Mexico” policy, basically allows government to send, I think, about 300 illegal immigrants per day back to await their claims in Mexico. When you do that, you’re creating a huge deterrent. So now there’s a chance – even if it’s a small chance – there’s still a chance that you might do all this work to cross the border illegally and then get sent right back to Mexico. Again, this feeds into the enforcement of our laws, and it creates a big deterrent when we actually do that. It was a small step that the administration was able to take despite no action from Congress, and we should recognize that work on the part of the administration.

I’d like to thank Rep. Crenshaw for taking the time to speak with me about such an incredibly important topic. For more information about and from Crenshaw, follow him on Twitter and Instagram.

President Trump Unleashes on Shifty Schiff: ‘Schiff is a Fraud, I Demand His Deposition’

Adam Schiff

President Trump on Sunday unleashed on House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff in a series of tweets over his role in the Ukraine witch hunt.

The President called Schiff a “fraud” and demanded his deposition to find out why he made up a fabricated transcript of Trump’s call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and read it during a congressional hearing.

Trump also asked if the entire Ukraine hoax was a “corrupt Adam Schiff con.”

House Intel Chairman Adam Schiff created the Ukraine hoax and got caught lying about his early contact with the CIA snitch who’s trying to pass himself off as a whistleblower.

Recall, during a September 17 MSNBC appearance, Adam Schiff said, “We have not spoken directly with the whistleblower. We would like to.”

The New York Times then dropped a bombshell and revealed that Schiff’s staffers were aware of the whistleblower’s allegations against Trump before he filed a complaint — the staffers then relayed the information to Schiff.

Newly released travel documents reveal that Adam Schiff’s staffer took a Burisma Group-funded trip to Ukraine 12 days after the ‘whistleblower’ filed a complaint against Trump and met with US Ambassador Bill Taylor.

Bill Taylor served as the Chargé d’Affaires for Ukraine and is now one of Schiff’s star witnesses in the sham impeachment inquiry.

It’s all a scam. It was all a set up. Schiff’s staffer met with Bill Taylor shortly after the whistleblower filed his complaint and Adam Schiff is spearheading his impeachment scam by selectively leaking info from secret hearings.

Busted! Mitt Romney’s Secret Twitter Account Discovered – Named “Pierre Delecto” — Slammed Marco Rubio, Newt, Rudy Giuliani, and ‘Liked’ Impeachment Quote!

Earlier today leftist tool Mitt Romney was featured in a lengthy anti-Trump expose’ in The Atlantic.

During the interview Mitt admitted to having a second secret Twitter account following 668 people.

Via the Atlantic:

“That’s kind of what he does,” Romney said with a shrug, and then got up to retrieve an iPad from his desk. He explained that he uses a secret Twitter account—“What do they call me, a lurker?”—to keep tabs on the political conversation. “I won’t give you the name of it,” he said, but “I’m following 668 people.” Swiping at his tablet, he recited some of the accounts he follows, including journalists, late-night comedians (“What’s his name, the big redhead from Boston?”), and athletes. Trump was not among them. “He tweets so much,” Romney said, comparing the president to one of his nieces who overshares on Instagram. “I love her, but it’s like, Ah, it’s too much.”

It didn’t take Slate contributor Ashley Feinberg too long to find the secret account.

“Pierre Delecto”

According to Feinberg:

The Pierre Delecto account’s very first follow was eldest Romney scion Tagg, joined shortly thereafter by Glen Johnson, a current politics editor for Boston.com who was firmly on the Romney beat around the time the account was originally created. Next was Mark DeMoss, who the Salt Lake Tribune described in 2012 as “an unpaid adviser to Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign for the past five years,” and Eric Fehrnstrom, who still has “Former @MittRomney adviser” in his Twitter bio.

The Pierre Delecto Twitter page was set to private.

And… Already we have this… Pierre liked this tweet on Little Marco.

Here’s another nasty tweet he liked on Newt Gingrich.

And Mitt retweeted a Bill Kristol tweet in SUPPORT OF IMPEACHMENT!

UK Police Tell Public: Report ‘Hateful’ Behaviour ‘Even If It Isn’t a Crime’, ‘You Don’t Even Need Evidence’

British police have marked “Hate Crime Awareness Week” with a series of childish online cartoons urging the public to report “hateful” behaviour “even if it isn’t a crime”, offering assurances that “you don’t even need evidence”.

The cartoons, featuring exclusively white racists targeting non-white people, women in hijabs, and so on, were shared over the course of the week by Devon and Cornwall Police — which was recently exposed as having had to sack a number of constables, special constables, community support officers, and support staff for sexual misconduct.

The cartoons appeared to be aimed at people of limited intelligence, with one featuring a woman with a North American accent narrating an angry white man going into a greengrocer and becoming enraged by an apple placed among other fruit.

“This is John. John doesn’t like apples and seeing them sold with other fruits upsets him,” she explains, as John first shouts at the fruit and then physically attacks it.

“This behaviour seems ridiculous, but it would be any stranger like this?” she asks, cutting to John screaming at the shopkeeper “because he is black”.

The cartoon also shows a white man ripping off a Muslim woman’s hijab and punching her to the ground, and an elderly white driver refusing to let the black shopkeeper from before board a bus.

“If you observe or experience any threatening or hateful behaviour, even if it isn’t a crime, you should contact the police,” the narrator instructs.

Another cartoon shows a blonde-haired, blue-eyed white girl at a kindergarten — which do not exist in Britain’s mainstream education system — approaching a boy of Middle Eastern appearance and telling him, “stop playing with those [toys], you’re going to make the toys dirty like your skin” in a strange accent, prompting him to burst into tears.

The girl then explains to her concerned teacher that her father “says that we should not play with people like him because they are different.”

Still another cartoon shows a computer-generated blob person who is sad after receiving “hateful messages” such as “Your shade of blue makes me feel sick!” and “You’re so gay and annoying”.

The blob person is then helpfully informed by a disembodied voice that “there are so many ways to report a hate crime, and you don’t even need evidence!

Not all the cartoons are race-themed, however, with one focusing on a tomato person going to a nightclub, who is laughed at by the aubergine and broccoli bouncers because their ID card shows they have changed “gender” from fruit to vegetable and back again several times before settling on “N/A”.

The tomato person leaves the nightclub in despair after not being able to decide whether to use the restroom for fruits or the restroom for vegetables, only to discover a lemon person spraypainting “Tomatoes Aint No Fruit” on an alley wall.

The tomato person then calls the police, receiving helped from a blueberry officer with a mustache and a helmet bearing a rainbow badge.

The fact that Devon and Cornwall Police only featured white people being racist hints that they may be inclined to agree with left-wing academics who believe it is not possible to be racist towards white people, because racism requires “power plus privilege” and, according to this worldview, only white people have those things.

But this is not the legal position in Britain, and racially-aggravated crimes against white people are supposed to be treated as such — indeed, the left-wing press had to report official research showing that a majority of recorded race attack victims were white as long ago as 1999.

Anti-white hate crime is likely undercharged by the police, however, as, for example, the courts have resisted treating the industrial-scale sexual grooming and rape of mostly white girls by mostly Muslim men of Pakistani heritage as racially aggravated.

A recent case in which a teenager had his hand cut off in Rochdale by a mob which abused him and three others as “white bastards” who were in their “country” was also not treated as racially aggravated, suggesting that the bar for authorities to concede that such crimes are racist is set rather high.
