On Tuesday, the Department of Justice announced the results of a 90-day law enforcement operation, known as “Operation Triple Beam Albuquerque”: 327 known violent offenders were arrested and brought to justice.
The DOJ stated the fugitives from the law came from Bernalillo County and the Albuquerque, New Mexico metropolitan area. The DOJ detailed the various crimes the fugitives had been charged with:
During OTB Albuquerque, SWIFT located and apprehended 327 alleged state, local and federal fugitives, including 59 state probation and parole absconders, 10 individuals wanted for homicide, 20 for weapons offenses, 13 for sex crimes, 50 for assault, and 91 on narcotics charges. In the Santa Fe and Farmington communities, investigators made 92 arrests. The operation resulted in the seizure of 43 illegal firearms, more than 50 pounds of methamphetamine, four pounds of heroin, and two pounds of cocaine. In addition, 31 stolen vehicles were recovered and $50,000 was seized.
Attorney General William P. Barr stated, “I commend the work of the brave men and women of the U.S. Marshals Service on their outstanding execution of Operation Triple Beam, a nationwide effort by the Marshals to target violent, gang-related crime in some of America’s most dangerous cities. The Marshals are truly America’s fugitive hunters, with a proud tradition dating back to the founding of the United States. Their unyielding commitment to justice, in partnership with our state and local colleagues, made this initiative a great success.”
U.S. Marshals Service Director Donald Washington echoed, “We brought Operation Triple Beam, our mobile gang enforcement platform, to Albuquerque to target the gang-related fugitives fueling the violent crime in the area. The U.S. Marshals in the District of New Mexico, along with dedicated inspectors in our Investigative Operations Division, and all of our partner agencies, achieved results that illustrate our full commitment to make communities safer by addressing violent crime at its core and taking the worst of the worst off the streets. The good citizens of New Mexico have our enduring support.”
U.S. Attorney John C. Anderson added, “The U.S. Attorney’s Office is committed to working with its law enforcement partners to combat violent crime throughout New Mexico. We commend the U.S. Marshals Service for regularly leading multi-agency operations like Triple Beam throughout the state that have made our communities safer by taking hundreds of fugitives off our streets.”
Bernalillo County Sheriff Manuel Gonzales III asserted, “Operation Triple Beam was an outstanding public safety effort by all personnel involved, and the unified approach for law enforcement resulted in hundreds of arrests, including many for dangerous outstanding warrants. I remain committed to collaborating with local and federal authorities to keep our children, families, and businesses safe.
The DOJ noted,“This is the second OTB conducted by the U.S. Marshals in New Mexico this year. OTB Las Cruces concluded April 12, 2019, with the arrest of 154 fugitives throughout Dona Ana County; there were 115 felony arrests within the City of Las Cruces … Since the Department of Justice reinvigorated Project Safe Neighborhoods in 2017, U.S. Marshals have launched 33 OTB collaborations of local, state, federal and tribal law enforcement agencies in some of the nation’s most violence-plagued communities, resulting in more than 6,000 arrests, 1,200 firearms confiscations, and the seizure of $1.8 million.”

Kanye West and his “Sunday Service” will make an appearance at a Sunday service of the nation’s biggest megachurch this weekend. According to TMZ, West will share the stage with Joel Osteen at his 50,000-person Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas on Sunday to discuss how the artist was able to “overcome significant adversity in his life.”
Citing “sources with direct knowledge” of the arrangement, TMZ reported Tuesday that “the plan is for Kanye to show up at Joel’s 11 AM service in Houston this coming Sunday at the Lakewood Church.”
“Kanye will walk up to the pulpit and have a conversation with Joel that will last between 20 and 30 minutes,” TMZ reports. “Our sources say Joel wants his congregation — which stands 45,000 strong — and his TV audience — which stands at 10 million in the U.S. alone — to hear how Kanye has overcome significant adversity in his life.”
“Kanye used to be about nothing greater than himself,” one source told the outlet. “Now it’s all about a higher power.”
It just got way better. Our Kanye sources tell us Ye will bring his traveling choir to Houston and he and the choir will perform during Sunday’s nighttime service. So, Kanye will take the pulpit and talk to Joel in the morning, and perform in the evening.
West has increasingly focused his public statements and his performances on faith.
His new, faith-focused album, “Jesus Is King,” reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts and has broken West’s previous online streaming records, according to The Christian Post. “The 27 minute music release garnered the second-largest sales week of the year for an R&B/Hip-Hop album, with over 100,000 copies sold,” the outlet reported last week.
“Number one in the country right now, number one in the world right now, Jesus is King,” West said last week in celebration of the album’s success. “Number one song, number one album, and they told me I would (inaudible) if I gave my life to Christ, but God is showing out.”
West’s faith-focused performances, which include his Sunday Service choir, have been big successes too. A recent West event at Bethany Church in Baton Rouge reportedly resulted in hundreds of people accepting Christ. According to an Instagram post by Curvine Brewington, a pastor at Crossroads Church in Lafayette, the event drew over 6,000 people and resulted in over 1,000 people responding to an altar call:

As for Osteen’s megachurch, as of 2016 his Lakewood Church was still “the largest church in America, with a weekend attendance totaling 52,000 people,” The Christian Post reported (formatting adjusted):
Church Growth Today, a research center led by John N. Vaughan since 1980, said in a statement that Osteen’s congregation remains the largest in America when it comes to weekend attendance, noting that the church has seen a growth of 7,200 people since 2010. What is more, the church has five times as many followers as it did when it was led by founding Pastor John Osteen, who died in 1999.
The research also shows that 27 new megachurches have increased church attendance since 2010, though 39 others have dropped below 2,000 in weekly attendance, which is the baseline of what constitutes a megachurch, as established by Vaughan. “This newest research indicates that among the 100 largest churches 60 percent are growing, 20 percent have plateaued, and only 11 percent have decreased in attendance during the past five years,” Vaughan added.

“He’s in the chair and he’s like ‘I want rainbow.’ So he tells the lady that he wants rainbow colors on his nails,” Keys explained. “And after he painted his nails, he looked at me and said ‘Mommy, I don’t want this on my nails.’ And I was like why? You were so sure. You were good. And he was like, ‘People are not going to like it.’”
Keys was shocked that her young son worried about being seen in public with rainbow nails.
“Can you believe this? Four years old! He’s four and he already understands the concept that someone’s going to judge him because he chose rainbow color on his nails,” Keys said, explaining that she encouraged her son by telling him that “so many” men paint their nails.
“And I said plus you know a lot of guys paint their nails. This is not like some strange thing that you only do. He was like really? I was like yeah– so many. So many. And that made him feel better, but it just got me to thinking about how completely judged we are all the time,” she said.
Keys explained that she believes men and women possess both masculine and feminine “energies” and noted her concern that “we can’t just explore these different sides of ourselves.”
“You know, these different energies that are within us. And even for me myself, I oftentimes express the masculine energy that is inside of me. And it’s very natural to me. That’s how I feel and all the time if that happens there’s judgments and there’s the stereotypes and there’s all the energy that comes toward that and for my boys — similar,” she said.
“If they want to express the feminine energy that’s inside of them, there’s all these judgments and all these rules and stereotypes and vibes, and it’s really frustrating to me,” she continued.
“I’m actually really really frustrated about it and I ask myself why is it that? Like why can’t we just express the different energies that are inside of us?” she asked, calling it a “normal,” “ancient,” “powerful” and “spiritual” understanding.
Keys has not refrained from articulating her ideological leanings in the past, appearing at the Democratic National Convention in 2016 and dedicating her performance to the mothers of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Wikipedia is removing ALL mentions of anti-Trump whistleblower Eric Ciaramella.

As reports circulated identifying Eric Ciaramella as the alleged “whistleblower” driving efforts to impeach President Donald Trump, Wikipedia editors attempted to mention him in articles on the site. However, Wikipedia admins used their advanced privileges to delete records of his name, block creation of pages on Ciaramella, and even banned his name completely.
After Donald Trump Jr. and numerous others on social media discussed media coverage naming the alleged whistleblower as CIA analyst Eric Ciaramella, Wikipedia editors began trying to add the name to the Trump-Ukraine controversy article. Page logs show the information has been repeatedly removed and revisions containing the name deleted as “Grossly insulting, degrading, or offensive material” by left-wing admins. Those adding the name were threatened with bans.
Prior to Trump Jr. sharing Ciaramella’s name, editors also attempted to add him to the whistleblower page, but those edits were labeled “vandalism” and removed. Editors also attempted to draft a page on Ciaramella noting him as the alleged whistleblower. The drafts were deleted as “attack pages” even when previews suggest the page was neutral. Administrator “Drmies” a.k.a. Michel Aaij used his privileges to block editors from recreating the Ciaramella page. When editor “Wumbolo” challenged these actions, he was banned and administrators created a filter to prevent anyone from even mentioning the alleged whistleblower’s name.
The liberal left is preventing Americans from seeing the truth.
They know the truth will kill their latest coup attempt.
So they hide it from Americans.

The collapse of the Berlin Wall 30 years ago was one of the most momentous days in history.
It represented the last gasp of a wicked regime that destroyed the lives of millions, and a new beginning for the many people held under the thumb of communism for generations.
It was a triumph of freedom over authoritarianism, a triumph for the United States and its allies in the long struggle to keep the flames of liberty alive in the face of ever-spreading darkness.
Not so fast, though, says The Daily Beast. On Veterans Day, the left-leaning outlet published an article claiming that “much of what many of us learned in school about the struggle between the U.S. and USSR was very, very wrong.”
This is the latest in a growing genre of Soviet and communist apologia. The New York Times, after all, dedicated a section of its website to a series of articles about the 1917 communist revolution in Russia, including a puff piece about Vladimir Lenin as an environmentalist and another touting women’s sex lives under socialism.
Yet there was no mention of the mass cover-up of Soviet crimes in the 1930s by Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times reporter Walter Duranty.
The Daily Beast article was penned by Brian T. Brown, author of the new book “Someone Is Out to Get Us: A Not So Brief History of Cold War Paranoia and Madness.”
Brown tries to convince the reader that, despite what you may have heard, the Soviet Union wasn’t really that bad after all, and if it was bad, America is to blame.
An absurd and obnoxious Soviet apologetic might be worth dismissing out of hand. Yet, as a recent poll demonstrated, a growing number of young Americans say they prefer socialism or communism to capitalism.
The poll, conducted by the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, found that “15% of millennials think the world would be better off if the Soviet Union still existed.” A staggering 75% were unaware of the Soviet alliance with Nazi Germany at the start of World War II. And “57% of millennials (compared to 94% of the Silent Generation) believe the Declaration of Independence better guarantees freedom and equality over the Communist Manifesto.”
At one time, Americans would have almost universally mocked pro-Soviet propaganda as an embarrassing attempt to whitewash a murderous regime. Not so today.
It seems young Americans are now more receptive to communist notions and generally lack the “informed patriotism” that would allow them to see through the charade. Now, it must be actively combatted.
Myths Upon Myths
The United States, according to Brown, started the Cold War by dropping the atomic bombs on Japan and keeping the Soviets from joining in the invasion of that country.
It seems Brown is suggesting the U.S. was the aggressor because it put up roadblocks to Soviet conquest.
And how, exactly, would Japanese citizens have fared living under Soviet overlords as opposed to the United States?
Given the condition of East Germany at the time the Berlin Wall collapsed (and North Koreans as opposed to South Koreans today), this isn’t a difficult question to answer.
Brown then suggests that the Soviet Union wasn’t really all that bad, completely ignoring the countless murders and the imprisonment of millions of political prisoners in the Gulag Archipelago.
“[O]ur enemy, the so-called evil empire, was really a figment of our fevered imaginations,” he writes. “In fact, the people running the Kremlin were frightened frauds running a fundamentally dysfunctional state forever on the verge of collapse.”
This is simply false. As tattered, broken, and dispirited as the people under Soviet rule were at the end of its 70-year reign, the USSR nevertheless successfully created a vast and potent military state.
He also suggests the U.S. should have paid the Soviet Union more respect after World War II. Undoubtedly, the USSR suffered and sacrificed immensely to save itself from conquest by Nazi Germany. But Brown says we turned the Soviets into enemies instead of “thanking them” after the war.
This ignores the fact that the Soviets actually entered the war on the side of Adolf Hitler, enthusiastically carving up their Eastern European neighbors—only to fight back ferociously once betrayed.
Then, when the fighting stopped, the Soviet Union sponged the countries it “liberated” and put them behind an iron curtain of tyrannical government.
The real question is: What would a total Soviet victory at the close of World War II, without the presence of the United States, have even looked like?
The Soviet Union should not be thanked, but condemned for the fact that it stormed through Europe as a conqueror and not a liberator.
Brown concludes that “the Cold War rivalry was actually a mind-boggling waste of money and lives to wage an inherently lopsided contest with a preordained outcome.”
In reality, the asymmetry of the conflict was due to the fact that one system was based on an evil and broken ideology, and the other was set on a cornerstone of liberty that produced remarkable prosperity.
Moreover, the Soviet Union was enfeebled by the fact that the United States, leading a coalition of free people, spent a generation countering its power across the globe. Its collapse was far from inevitable. It was an achievement.
The Heart of the Matter
The revisionism of this poorly reasoned and factually thin piece is bad enough. Far more pernicious is the author’s larger intent: to downplay both the unfathomable evil of the Soviet Union and the indispensable role that America played in sending it into the dustbin of history.
As I wrote in my book “The War on History: The Conspiracy to Rewrite America’s Past,” there is a concerted attempt to undermine the “American century”—that is, the U.S. triumph on the international stage that led to the defeat of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, the twin tyrannies that threatened to plunge the world into a new dark age.
This is why we must continually reinforce the lessons of our history and that of the failed history of communism.
If we don’t reinforce these lessons, then the evil that our parents and grandparents defeated may soon reemerge for ourselves and our children.
Freedom, after all, really is never more than a generation away from extinction.
