Capitalism Wins: Supposedly Pro-Union Young Turks Refuses To Recognize Employees’ Union

I’m a big fan of irony. Not the 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife or the rain on your wedding day type. Actual irony — particularly of the political sort — is officially awesome.

Take “The Young Turks.” If you’re a casual consumer of political media and don’t venture outside of the conservosphere, you might not have heard of the massively popular YouTube show or the producers’ wider network of content.

If you have, it’s probably because of the highlights of their epic 2016 election night meltdown, which has become a favorite viral video for conservatives looking to relive the panic that night induced in so many people on the left.

At the moment, “Young Turks” co-host Cenk Uygur is running for Congress as a far-left candidate. He was briefly endorsed by Democratic presidential candidate and socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont until people noted Uygur’s history of misogynist remarks and the endorsement was retracted.

As a whole, however, TYT is still very supportive of Sanders, given that this is a ship lilting very much to port. They’re also pretty huge, given the fact they get 200 million views a month on YouTube.

Surely they’d be down with their post-production staff’s announcement last week that they were seeking to unionize, right?

Not so much.

“A week after TYT Union was formed to represent production and post-production workers at the popular liberal channel, the group announced that company leadership had refused voluntary recognition of the union,” The Washington Free Beacon reported Friday.

Do you think The Young Turks should allow their employees to unionize?

0% (0 Votes)

“The refusal, which comes after Sanders proposed penalizing companies that refuse to recognize unions, is the latest instance of a left-leaning news outlet resisting unionization among its employees,” the report said.

According to a news release from the union, the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, on Tuesday, a majority of employees at TYT signed union cards. At that point, the union asked for recognition from TYT management and was denied.

Under current law, when 30 percent of a company’s workforce signs union cards, a secret ballot is set up by the National Labor Relations Board. If the vote succeeds, the company has the choice of whether to recognize the union.

The Young Turks did not.

However, if TYT’s favored candidate is elected, that’ll change if he has his druthers.

According to Sanders, “when a majority of workers in a bargaining unit sign valid authorization cards to join a union, they will have a union. If employers refuse to negotiate in good faith, we will impose strong penalties on those companies.”

In a tweeted statement, the IATSE expressed its dismay.

“This is a disappointing decision from an organization that presents itself as progressive,” the union said. “Join us in telling [The Young Turks] to respect their so-called principles and respect their workers!”

Yet, reading the original statement from the IATSE, you wonder what these workers’ grievances actually were.

“We’re proud to work behind the scenes at TYT to create online content that’s bold, entertaining, and unapologetically progressive. There is no other news and talk network quite like TYT, and the perspective our network brings to its political coverage is resolutely pro-justice and pro-worker,” the employees said in a statement.

“We’re proud of our content, and we’re proud, too, to put into practice in our workplace the values that our work helps bring to the screen every day. In our decision to go union, we join the wave of recent organizing in digital media, and we stand in solidarity with the renaissance of labor activism we see now in workplaces of all kinds throughout the country.”

Not that I’ve ever been a fan of organized labor, but this new wave of union activism feels somewhat different from the old days.

Working for The Young Turks is hardly “Harlan County, USA”-type stuff. The employees’ reason for unionizing seems to be that they’ll be in a union and that makes a political point. Nice work, I guess.

This isn’t how digital media works, though — and anyone who gets involved should probably be acquainted with the realities of an industry that shifts with profound rapidity. This is one step removed from unionizing a startup.

The great irony here is that TYT is stumping for a candidate who’s going to punish them severely if they refuse to unionize.

They won’t be the only outlet on the left that feels the pain, either.

Before it imploded late last year, far-left thought-hovel ThinkProgress fired its entire unionized staff. The Center for American Progress, which owned the site, said it would be “transitioning ThinkProgress back to its roots as a site that offers analysis on policy, politics, and the news” after it couldn’t find a buyer. The transition would have involved non-union writers. (They eventually decided to shelve the relaunch, given the fact the site was losing money like that drunk guy who hangs around the gas station buying scratch-offs in between cigarettes.)

BuzzFeed, meanwhile, endured a walkout when unionizing employees were frustrated with their company’s delay in recognizing the union and their conditions on who could join.

Left-wing publication Vox also had a walkout last year.

All of which is to say that left-wing media don’t necessarily practice what they preach when it comes to organized labor. And if you’re on the left, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

In this case, capitalism won. TYT, at least for the moment, realizes that whatever blowback they receive is probably going to cost them less than unionizing workers in a business that shifts rapidly. If they stick by their decision, they’ll have more resources to dedicate to content, which in turn creates more money and more jobs — and more exposure for left-wing ideas. That’s how it works.

That’s not how unions want it to work. To a certain extent, their message is this: “All right, I’m aboard. Pull up the lifeline.”

Hardcore union activists don’t trust that the health of the company will lead to their financial gain. They believe the company exists for their financial gain. There’s a big difference.

The Young Turks, it seems, realize the realities of the situation.

It’s good to see them putting their money where their mouth isn’t.

Bernie Sanders Defends Fidel Castro, Ted Cruz Exposes the Absurdity with Biting Response

Bernie Sanders is going to be sorry.

When the aging left-winger from Vermont, the avowed socialist who’s now leading the Democratic Party’s race for the 2020 presidential nomination, took to “60 Minutes” for an interview broadcast Sunday, he probably didn’t intend to come off like an apologist for mass-murdering dictators.

But his take on the communist dictatorship of Cuba — 90 miles from American shores — gave the game away.

“We’re very opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba but you know, it’s unfair to simply say everything is bad. You know? When Fidel Castro came into office, you know what he did? He had a massive literacy program. Is that a bad thing? Even though Fidel Castro did it?” Sanders said in an interview with Anderson Cooper.

TRENDING: Dershowitz Bombshell: I Have Proof Obama Personally Asked FBI To Help Soros Investigate Someone

It’s sort of an altruistic version of the old line “Mussolini made the trains run on time” – an excuse for the essentially evil nature of dictatorships when they provide certain benefits to those lucky enough not to fall afoul of the authorities.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz wasn’t buying it.

Cruz’s father was a supporter of Castro’s revolution who fled the island after the nature of Castro’s communism became clear, according to a Washington Times account from 2015. So he probably knows a little more about the real dangers of dictatorship than the Democrats’ dilettante revolutionaries and Bernie Bros taking time off from college to hit the barricades.

It was a solid point, backed up not only by the history of Cuba, but the history of virtually every country where socialism has been imposed on a society. The Soviet Union and its Eastern European and Asian satellites, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Cuba, Nicaragua, and current-day Venezuela.

The history of socialism is steeped in the blood of the citizens its revolutionaries won power pretending to be concerned about.

Naturally, Sanders had plenty of supporters among the left-wing illiaterati of the social media world, but there were plenty who agreed with Cruz’s point.

But this one summed it up perfectly:

Leftists love to make embarrassingly over-the-top comparisons between any Republican they disagree with and Adolf Hitler. (It didn’t start with Trump, it isn’t going to end with him.)

But it’s worth remembering that the word “socialism” was literally part of the name of Hitler’s Nazi Party (“National Socialist German Workers Party” in English.) The socialist ideology is responsible for the unnatural deaths of almost 100 million human beings in the 20th Century, as a Reason column noted in 2013.

But leftists like Sanders keep trying to import it into the United States – and Sanders is inching ever closer to taking control of the once-proud Democratic Party to make that happen, thanks to the ignorant enthusiasm of millions of supporters.

Do you think this doomed Bernie Sanders’ hopes to be president?

0% (0 Votes)

0% (0 Votes)

After a lifetime spent in the service of the socialist cause, the Bernie Sanders who honeymooned in the Soviet Union in the 1980s and praises dictators like Fidel Castro in 2020 isn’t going to change his tune.

And he’s almost certain to go to his grave proclaiming that he’s been right all this time. For fanatics like Sanders, apology is never an option.

But he’s not going to be the president of the United States. Either the Democratic Party will wake up at some point before the insanity goes too far and deny him the nomination, or he will actually win the nomination and be trounced by President Donald Trump in the general election – because the United States as a whole is not crazy enough to accept Bernie.

Either way, his quote praising the Castro regime is going to hurt. Too many sane Americans aren’t going to buy the argument that a nationwide literacy campaign is worth it when it comes at the cost of turning a Caribbean island into an  open-air prison and slaughtering ground for dissidents.

And Bernie Sanders is going to be sorry – not because of what he said, but because it showed Americans who he really is.

Leftists Celebrated $15/Hr Minimum Wage, Now They Can’t Figure Out Why They’re Being Fired

In the years since New York and other liberal cities celebrated raising the minimum wage for workers to $15 an hour, many fast-food restaurant employees have reported being inordinately terminated for minor infractions.

To combat the issue of such terminations, which they see as “unfair,” two Democratic city council members in New York have introduced bills that would diminish the power employers have over their workforce.

According to the New York Daily News, a bill from council members Adrienne Adams and Brad Lander, who represent districts in Queens and Brooklyn respectively, would prevent employers from terminating employment for any reason other than “misconduct or failure to do the job.” The bill also equates employers reducing their employees’ hours by 15 percent or more to the employees being fired.

Another bill introduced by Adams and Lander would force establishments to base firings or layoffs during times of economic hardship on employee seniority.

The proposed “Just Cause” legislation comes after a number of restaurant employees complained in a survey of losing their jobs for minor infractions, or in some cases, for no reason at all.

TRENDING: Dershowitz Bombshell: I Have Proof Obama Personally Asked FBI To Help Soros Investigate Someone

“Too many fast-food workers have been fired without a just cause, without a warning, without even any notice,” Lander said. “And if you can be fired simply on the whim of an angry boss or a disgruntled customer’s complaint, then you’re far more vulnerable to harassment or abuse.”

While it is certainly valid to fight being unjustly fired, employees, along with Lander and Adams, should also be aware of how increased operating costs might leave businesses with no other choice but to let go of employees whose wages are costing them too much.

Restaurants that have managed to stay afloat, despite having to hike up their prices and pass the increased operating expenses along to their customers, could decide that the cost of doing business is simply too great.

That could leave many more young or unskilled workers with no jobs at all.

Do you think the national minimum wage should be raised?

Raising the minimum wage for food workers may have seemed like a good idea to workers at the time, but it has clearly come with many negative consequences in New York and other cities.

A minimum wage hike hit restaurants in Seattle particularly hard, where dining establishments simply cannot afford to stay open.

As a result, many food workers in the city have found themselves without a paycheck. The city’s reeling business community is still struggling to adapt to the added labor costs.

“In order to buy great product and pay a great wage that people can live on in our city … the math just doesn’t work,” Seattle chef Matt Dillon said to the Seattle Times when he announced his restaurant would be closing. “There’s gonna be a reckoning, big time. I don’t think it’s gonna be pretty.”

Seattle’s minimum has risen progressively since 2014 and will top out at $15 an hour next year, according to CNBC.

RELATED: There’s a Massive Difference in Min. Wage Across the Country — It’s $16 Some Places

New York City is taking the issue farther by proposing to become the first city to dictate to restaurants when and how they will deploy their labor force.

Businesses in the Empire State, with already razor-thin profits margins, could choose to continue to offset payroll costs through automation or through staff reductions.

Computers, after all, don’t get sick, don’t take smoke breaks and won’t argue with customers.

Restaurant owners could also choose to pack up and leave cities and states where it is becoming cost-prohibitive to operate.

As one New York restaurant chief executive told The New York Times, “Ultimately I’m a fan of making our employees’ lives better but some of these rules make it really, really challenging for us to operate.”

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, who is currently the frontrunner to win the party’s nomination, supports raising the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour — a move supported by other Democratic candidates.

Billionaire Tom Steyer has proposed raising the federal minimum wage to $22 an hour, FOX Business reported.

In evaluating a nationwide minimum wage increase, the Congressional Budget Office concludes, “By boosting the income of low-wage workers who keep their jobs, a higher minimum wage raises their families’ real income, lifting some of those families out of poverty. However, income falls for some families because other workers lose their jobs and business owners must absorb at least some of the higher costs of labor. For those reasons, the net effect of a minimum-wage increase is to reduce average family income.”

If Democrats have their way, businesses seeking relief from the undue burden of government over-regulation might just find themselves with no safe place to operate, and workers will find themselves without a place to work.

‘Miracle on Ice’ Hockey Team Appears at Trump Rally, Fires Back Against Critics

The American heroes of the Cold War’s most epic sports victory over the Soviet Union fought back against critics who decried the appearance of the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team with President Donald Trump at a Trump rally in Las Vegas.

On Friday, team members — including captain Mike Eruzione and star goalie Jim Craig — wore red “Keep America Great” caps at the rally during a brief appearance in which Trump introduced the team and engaged in banter with the former players, whose unlikely victory as amateurs facing the then-dominant Soviets in front of an American crowd at Lake Placid, New York, was dubbed the “Miracle on Ice.”

Herb Brooks coached the team to its gold medal win over Finland after it defeated the Soviet Union in a semifinal match.

His daughter, Kelly Brooks, appeared at the Trump rally and spoke about her father.

“I’m honored that his legacy still is alive today, and he would be proud to be here with you all,” she said.

“And in my personal opinion, he would have been a Trump fan.”

The team shared a tweet to celebrate the moment.

But then came the carping critics.

“To us, this is not about politics or choosing sides. This is about proudly representing the United States of America,” it tweeted Saturday.

“Whether your beliefs are Democratic, Republican, Independent, etc. we support that and are proud to represent the USA. It is an honor and privilege!”

Eruzione said that the American team was not simply lucky — it was good.

“Miracle’s a catchy phrase and it sounds nice, but it wasn’t a miracle. It wasn’t a fluke. We weren’t lucky. Craig Patrick, our assistant coach, after the Olympics, said it best. He said, ‘They deserved what they got.’ You know, we deserved to win that tournament and we did,” Eruzione said last week, according to Fox News.

“The miracles happened in much more dramatic fashion than a hockey game. So it was great and … a moment that my teammates and I are very proud to have been a part of.”

Eruzione said the Soviet players were stunned that they had been beaten.

“When I was skating through the line shaking hands, it was almost like disbelief on their faces. Like, ‘What just happened?’ I think they were stunned. You know, they’d never lost. They hadn’t lost in 40 consecutive games … They weren’t real happy,” he said.

“To us, it was a hockey game. But to a lot of people in this country, it was more about we showed the world what makes this country so great. You know, underdogs and hard-working kids [who] came from working-class families who went out and did something and shocked the world,” he said.

SURPRISE, SURPRISE: Impeachment Witness Inks Seven-Figure Book Deal

Add Marie Yovanovitch to the long — and growing — list of Trump haters who cash in on their TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome).

The former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, who was so toxic President Trump had to fire her, testified against the president at House impeachment hearings. Now, she’s getting more than a million dollars from publisher Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, according to a New York Post report.

The book, a memoir that is not yet titled, is set for release in spring 2021.

“Yovanovitch’s book will deliver pointed reflections on the issues confronting America today, and thoughts on how we can shore up our democracy,” Houghton Mifflin Harcourt said in a statement.

Yovanovitch is represented by the Javelin literary agency, which has handled books for other #resistance icons such as ex-FBI director James Comey and former national security adviser John Bolton.

Yovanovitch’s long career in the U.S. Foreign Service came to an abrupt end in May 2019 when President Trump had her recalled from Ukraine.

At the time, Trump was pressuring Ukrainian officials to investigate Hunter Biden’s work with the energy company Burisma. Hunter’s father, Joe Biden, then was a frontrunner for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.

Tons of other TDS sufferers have inked big book deals, including former FBI Director James Comey, former National Security Adviser John Bolton and former Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Andrew McCabe. Christine Blasey Ford, who testified against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, raked in more than $600,000 on a GoFundMe account.

But Comey has really cashed in big time,  including “six-figure speaking fees, prestigious writing contracts, a TV series, and a multimillion dollar book deal,” Business Insider reported in October.

High School Class Shows Slide Of Trump Next To Nazi And Communist Symbols

Last week, students in a high school history class in Baltimore County, Maryland, got their own dose of leftist indoctrination, as a slide depicted President Trump next to a Nazi swastika and the Communist Party’s hammer and sickle.

The slide at Loch Raven High School showed Trump with the caption, “Wants to round up a group of people and build a giant wall.” Below that on the left was the swastika with the caption “been there” and below Trump on the right was was the hammer and sickle accompanied by the caption, “done that.” A banner to the side of the slide read, “Oh that’s why it sounds so familiar!”

One parent told Fox45, “The biggest problem is pushing an agenda on 16-year-olds. My understanding is that was just put up and it was left there for everyone to see the whole day. I was told that by another student who said the topic in that class was supposedly world leaders shunning other groups out. I said, ‘Is this part of the curriculum?’”

A spokesperson the Baltimore County Public Schools told Fox45:

This slide was used as part of a lesson in an AP History course. The topics being discussed included World Wars and the attempts by some leaders to limit, or prevent migration, into certain countries. In isolation and out of context with the lesson, the image could be misunderstood.

In our Advanced Placement (AP) classes, which are college level courses, we expect and encourage analysis and discussion around historical and current events even if they are considered controversial. This lesson was not intended to make a political statement. If a student has concerns when discussing a controversial issue, schools have the tools to address the concern and support the student.

The Baltimore Sun reported, “Charles Herndon, a spokesman for Baltimore County schools, said students in such advanced high school classes are ‘discerning, intelligent students who are going to be able to draw their own inferences and draw their own conclusions.’”

Baltimore County councilman Wade Kach, who represents the district where the high school is located, countered, “To even imply that our president is in any way a Nazi or a communist is outrageous. Is this curriculum for AP? Is it a purchased curriculum? Is it one that our school system wrote? Where is it coming from? I just think that it’s irresponsible to post anything like this in a classroom.”

Dr. Richard Vatz, a professor at Towson University, told Fox45, “High schools are not supposed to take advocacy positions against presidents. They’re supposed to explain how political advocacy works, if that’s what they’re doing. They’re certainly not to take a position that the president is comparable to these awful leaders of the past.”

Vatz added, “If they’re not presenting that as clear, outrageous argument against the president of the United States, then they’re not doing their job. It’s really contemptible. But I want to say it’s conceivable the teachers are doing a better job than has been communicated to you.”

Horowitz: So much for overturning Roe: ‘Conservative’ Fifth Circuit rules against MS pro-life law

Conservatives who think we can win the judicial supremacy game simply by appointing “better judges” need to remember just one thing: The ability of a good judge to do good is nowhere near the ability of a bad judge to do bad.

On Thursday, the much-vaunted conservative Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld an injunction by radical liberal District Judge Carlton Reeves on Mississippi’s law banning abortion when a fetal heartbeat can be detected.

“If a ban on abortion after 15 weeks is unconstitutional, then it follows that a ban on abortion at an earlier stage of pregnancy is also unconstitutional,” wrote the three-judge panel Thursday in a per curium decision.

In December, the court upheld a district judge injunction against a similar law banning abortions after 15 weeks. This time the law being blocked is SB 2116, which bans abortions when a heartbeat is detected, which is usually any time between 6 and 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Conservatives who were hoping this injunction was only the result of a radical judge like Reeves will be sorely disappointed. Reeves, as a sitting judge, gave a high-profile speech last year comparing Trump to the KKK. However, now conservatives must contend with even a right-leaning appeals court siding with him.

Although two of the judges, Carolyn King and Gregg Costa, are Democrat appointees, a rare anomaly for a Fifth Circuit panel, the third judge who signed onto the opinion, Jim Ho, is considered one of the most conservative on the federal bench. This should demonstrate to conservatives, once and for all, that even the most conservative judges will never push back against liberal Supreme Court precedent the same way liberal judges ignore Supreme Court precedent on immigration or other issues.

The reality is that, once we assume that lower courts are bound by Roe and Casey, it’s impossible to say that abortion bans this early in pregnancy are permitted under that case law. Thus, even judges like Jim Ho, who undoubtedly disagree with Roe, will never deviate from precedent.

Well, what about a “conservative” Supreme Court? Wouldn’t conservative SCOTUS justices be fine with overturning Roe and Casey? The problem here is that conservatives will never even get a circuit split on this issue in order for a supposedly conservative Supreme Court to overturn it. Absent at least one circuit opinion siding with the red states on abortion laws, it’s very likely that no member of the high court other than Clarence Thomas would take the appeal from states like Mississippi. We see that even when there is a circuit split, some of the other GOP SCOTUS appointees are often reluctant to take up a critical case to overturn lower courts, much less when those decisions are built on past Supreme Court precedent.

This huge disparity between conservative and liberal lower court judges vividly shows why the judicial system is a one-way ratchet to the left and a dead-end street for conservatives the minute we agree to the premise that federal judges have the final say on political issues – and that court decisions are self-executing on the country and universally binding against the other branches.

Let’s contrast abortion with gay marriage, for an example of this dichotomy. Everyone is familiar with the 2015 Obergefell decision that created a constitutional right, forcing states to recognize same-sex relationships as marriages. However, few are familiar with the fact that in 1972, the court ruled unanimously against gay marriage in Baker v. Nelson. To my knowledge, Obergefell was the first time the Supreme Court ever reversed a prior unanimous decision. How can this be done? Well, liberal justices, unlike most conservative ones, are always willing to overturn long-standing precedent they disagree with.

But there’s a more peculiar question. How did we get to Obergefell, and how was the case teed up for the Supreme Court? How were the lower courts not bound by Baker? Well, nearly every single lower court ruled on the side of gay marriage. They couldn’t care less about precedent they disagree with, even if it’s from the Supreme Court. In fact, if not for the Sixth Circuit ruling with the state marriage laws, there wouldn’t have been even a single court upholding Supreme Court precedent!

Liberal lower court judges do this every day by offering rights and standing to illegal aliens despite the most uninterrupted chain of case law, known as the “plenary power doctrine,” that immigration and border decisions must be left to the political branches. Lower courts are already pushing back against the Trump v. Hawaii decision from just two years ago.

Yet you will not find a single conservative lower court judge going against Roe, which was decided just one year after Baker. Precedent that liberal judges disagree with is regularly disregarded even at the lower court level, yet precedent that Republican judges might disagree with is usually respected, even by Supreme Court justices on an equal plane. This will ensure that bad precedent will never be reversed.

This is also why, to the extent we have agreed federal courts can veto laws in the abstract, the abortion laws from every state that tried them – Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Alabama, Mississippi, and Ohio – are now on hold. We’ve seen how most of the non-Thomas justices on the Supreme Court are reluctant to take an appeal without a split circuit, even to defend SCOTUS precedent, such as with right-to-carry and assault weapons bans cases in light of the Heller decision. They most certainly will not take an appeal from these states to overturn Roe.

To that end, anyone who really wants to protect life, but is selling you a bill of goods that the courts, which caused this problem to begin with, will suddenly solve it, is pitching you a scam. The real solution is to assert, as Lincoln did, that each branch of government gets to use its own powers in accordance with the way it interprets the Constitution. Republicans should promise to use the other two branches to block enforcement of these court opinions the same way the court tries to block the laws’ implementation. We have three co-equal branches of government that go around in a circle, not one branch that stands atop the pyramid of governance.

As Lincoln reminded everybody, the judiciary did not have the exclusive right to declare black Americans not human beings. They ought not to have that right to declare unborn babies nothing but fetal tissue.

CNN Continues Obsession About Trump’s Eating Habits, This Time Over Food Options In India

Clown News Network. Why do they care what he eats?

Via Fox News:

The liberal network that once hyperventilated because President Trump is sometimes served an extra scoop of ice cream has struck again – this time mocking the president because he might have to eschew a cheeseburger or two during his trip to India.

CNN published an article on Sunday – “’I have never seen him eat a vegetable:’ Trump braces for a beef-free menu in India” – co-written by Kaitlan Collins, Kevin Liptak and Vivian Salama.

“When President Donald Trump travels abroad … his hosts usually try make him feel at home with his favorite meal: steak with miniature bottles of ketchup on the side. But what’s a beef-lover to do in India? The president, whose diet is often a rotation of steaks, burgers and meatloaf, faces a potential shock as he prepares to travel to three Indian cities this week,” CNN wrote.

WAYNE ALLYN ROOT: Why Mike Bloomberg is Finished…and So is the Democrat Party

Image via The New York Post

By Wayne Allyn Root

I hate to say it, but I told you so. This was a no-brainer. Anyone with common sense could see it coming from a thousand miles away. Mike Bloomberg is the Titantic-Hindenburg-Poseidon Adventure of the Democrat Party.

For weeks I’ve been announcing on my Newsmax national TV show that Mike Bloomberg is the worst public speaker ever. He’s boring, whiny, elitist, arrogant, stuck up and thoroughly unlikeable. Plus, he’s really, really short.

But “Mini Mike” beat even my low expectations during the Democrat presidential debate in Vegas. Mike lost another three inches.

Give Bloomberg credit for one thing. He just set an all-time record. He’s the first gambler in history to blow $350 million dollars in one night in Vegas!

The dust has now cleared on the Las Vegas Democrat debate. Here are my observations…

I have a new nickname for Mike Bloomberg. I think President Trump will love it. So, I’ll be sure to pass this new nickname on. From now on, call him “NON-DISCLOSURE MIKE.” Say that out loud 24/7. Feminists will boil. That’s the end of Mike.

By the way, that was the worst debate performance ever. Can you imagine? Bloomberg didn’t know his presidential rivals would ask about all his former female employee’s lawsuits and their non-disclosure agreements? That question never came up in debate preparation?

And no one ever bothered to practice a good response? A guy worth $60 billion didn’t know it wouldn’t be received well by liberal feminists if he answered that the non-disclosures are for “the women employee’s protection.” Really?

Wait, it gets better. “Non-Disclosure Mike” also claimed that none of these women were harassed by him. He claimed they were just “offended by a joke.” Oh boy. Clueless Bloomberg didn’t understand that radical feminists think a sexist joke by a wealthy white male should be punishable by death?

Well he does now.

Enough about Bloomberg. I didn’t come to bury Bloomberg. He already did that himself. (The lines about Bloomberg just write themselves).

The other biggest loser of the night was socialism. Not on that debate stage. Not among that audience, but among the rest of America. Democrats have painted themselves (and isolated themselves) on an island- “Communist Island.” They look like crazy people. I have the perfect island for them- Cuba. They’ll feel right at home.

Then there’s the Vegas Culinary Union. They were a big star of “the Night of 1000 Losers” too. Everyone was focused on Culinary’s anger at losing their hard-fought healthcare benefits in a Medicare-for-All system. “Welcome to my world.”

When Obama wrecked the finances of millions of middle-class Americans and small business owners, the Culinary Union couldn’t care less. When my rates went from $500 per month to $2000 because of Obamacare, the Culinary Union couldn’t care less. You’re proven to be the worst greedy, selfish, hypocrites of all-time.

But before I end this sad story for Democrats…let’s give Mike Bloomberg credit. Mike didn’t go down without a fight. Before crashing and burning like the Hindenberg, he got in one great shot that will sink whoever is the Democrat nominee.

Mike said, “At least I have started businesses. Please raise your hands if any of you have ever started a business.” The response? All the other Democrat presidential wanna-be’s looked like deer in headlights. They tried so hard to raise their hands. You could see them wincing as they attempted to lie. They tried desperately to make up a story. Somehow, someway, they each hoped to turn a government spending program into proof they started a business.

Finally, we all saw a sense of despair as they realized even a lying “fake news” Democrat couldn’t lie their way out of this one. Democrats start a business? That only happens in fairy tales and Hollywood movies.

Contrast the response to that question with all the times these same Democrats who-would-be-president were asked to raise their hands if they supported handing free health insurance to illegal aliens. All their hands shot up instantly.

There’s the presidential race crystalized in two questions. Every Democrat supports bankrupting America to support illegal aliens (aka criminals) on the backs of hard-working taxpayers and business owners…

But none of them has ever been a hard-working business owner in their lives. That just says it all. Remember that image when you cast your ballot in November.

Bravo to Mike Bloomberg. You’re never gonna be the Democrat nominee…and you’re never gonna be president…but you just made it crystal clear why America must re-elect President Donald J. Trump.

We all owe a debt of gratitude to “Non Disclosure” Mike.
