If Democrats and their allies in the media didn’t have double standards, they’d have no standards at all. This is especially true for the media, which feigned outrage last Friday after President Donald Trump commuted the sentence of longtime Republican operative Roger Stone. Stone, who was a high-profile target of the left’s favored Mueller investigation,…
Nearly every single metric published by the mainstream media leading up to the 2020 Presidential election has Trump losing and losing badly. They say that he is down double digits in the polls, and “hiding Joe Biden” is out-raising Trump in campaign funds. This is not a complete view.
The three dynamics below point out that the distinction between Trump emphasizing law and order and the riot-enabling stance of Democrats is stark. Trump’s response to riots, shootings, and attacks of US monuments are more popular. His use of shared-history as a rallying call for Americans to celebrate their diverse American heroes is more appealing than the tear-it-all-down project. In the unpredictable landscape of 2020, the Trump campaign is fighting strong.
Law and Order
We have seen a number of horrific shootings as a consequence of rioting/protesting in American cities and towns. This weekend, Jessica Doty Whitaker, 24, a young Mom from Indianapolis, was shot dead after clashing with some Black Lives Matter supporters when she replied to a group “all lives matter” when they said “black lives matter.” Her father has confirmed this.
On June 29th in Provo Utah, KSL News reported a group called Marching for Racial Equality were gathered on foot to protest police brutality. Another group called Back to Blue had planned to drive around the Provo Police Department and honk their horns to show support for law enforcement. Police said both events took place peacefully until around 8.30 p.m. when they received reports of gunshots and a hit-and-run. A video shared online showed a white SUV stopped by an intersection where protestors were and at least one shot being fired. Officials said a driver in his 60s was shot and taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery. Two people were later arrested: Jesse Taggart, 33 of Salt Lake City, on suspicion of attempted aggravated murder, aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, rioting, threatening with the use of a weapon, criminal mischief, and firing a weapon near a highway and Samantha Darling, 27, of Ogden City on suspicion of obstruction of justice and rioting.
The New York Times reports that murder is up 16.1 percent in 25 large American cities this year compared to 2019. Recently, in one weekend, 14 people were killed and at least 106 people were shot in Chicago, a record for the last eight years. In New York City, gun violence is at a 25 year high. Last Sunday, there were at least nine killings in the city.
Atlanta is also experiencing an increase in violence. At the Wendy’s parking lot where Rayshard Brooks was fatally shot by police last month, protests have gone on for weeks. That killing escalated tensions between citizens, so now the Wendy’s has been burnt to the ground and 8 year-old Secoriea Turner lost her life in a horrific random shooting. More than 75 shootings have occurred in the city over the past few weeks.
Stressing the need for law and order to respond to violent crime, on July 8th, the Trump administration launched Operation Legend, a supportive, coordinated, law enforcement initiative across all federal law enforcement agencies. It will work alongside state and local law enforcement officials to fight the sudden surge of violent crime. According to Attorney General William Barr, Operation Legend will start in Kansas City, MO, and will include over 100 FBI agents, U.S. Marshals, DEA agents, and ATF agents. In addition, Timothy A. Garrison, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri will be adding resources from his office to ensure he is able to handle an anticipated increase in prosecutions. Operation Legend was named after four-year-old LeGend Taliferro, who was shot in the face and killed while he slept early in the morning of June 29 in Kansas City. Kansas City has already reached 100 homicides this year, a 40 percent increase from last year, and the worst homicide rate in its history,” said, Attorney General Barr.
Vice President Mike Pence continued this theme during a “back the blue” campaign rally at a lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police in Philadelphia. The Vice-President argued that Biden would cut funding for the police if elected. He slammed the Minneapolis City Council for the 12 – 0 vote in favour of defunding its police department and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio for his $1 Billion in cuts to the NYPD budget. “I want you to hear this directly from me,” Vice President Pence said. “Under this president and this administration, we’re not going to defund the police. Not now, not ever.”
This starkly contrasts with Presidential Candidate, Joe Biden. At first, Biden said he didn’t support protesters’ demands to defund the police but said reforms are needed and backed a plan to allocate federal aid to local police departments adhering to certain standards of behavior. This week, during an interview with “This Now”, Biden said the police are over-militarized and have “become the enemy” when they go into neighborhoods in armored, military-style Humvees. He also said he would “absolutely” be willing to direct police funds elsewhere to mental health care, affordable housing, and other Democratic priorities.
RIOTERS
President Trump was also resolute in standing up to rioters senselessly defacing and destroying historical sites, monuments, and statues. He signed an Executive Order that underscores already existing United States law which means up to 10 years imprisonment for the willful injury of Federal property. The order further said, “State and local law enforcement agencies who fail to protect monuments, memorials, and statues will be subject to the withholding of Federal support” and “That the Attorney General will take all appropriate action against individuals and organizations who act unlawfully through rioting and destroying Federal property”. Extra Federal personnel has been made available across the Nation to protect Federal monuments, memorials, statues, and property.
As President Trump said in his 4th of July speech, “monuments memorialize the history all Americans share”, this history has produced heroes who are black, white, male and female. He re-iterated the story of the former President’s carved into Mount Rushmore behind him, that they were not just “slavers” as a CNN correspondent reported earlier that day, or “dead traitors’” as Rep Tammy Duckworth said. The reputation, life, and legacy of President’s like Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln, is not a horrible history to be attacked, it is a source of pride for the American people and the republic. His riposte was to give a unifying story back to America, to dedicate an executive order for the creation of a brand-new National Garden of Heroes outdoor park exhibit, featuring heroes that could ONLY really be produced in America: Great Americans like Martin Luther King Jr., great sports-people like Jackie Robinson, Mohammed Ali, the great moral figures, writers and artists. He mentioned Louis Armstrong, Booker T Washington, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Dolly Madison, Amelia Earhart, Christa Mcauliffe, Orville, and Wilbur Wright and Harriet Tubman among others, and there could be additions.
Meanwhile, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi refused to condemn the destruction of statues. Even the one of Christopher Columbus in the city of Baltimore where she was born and raised. She simply declared “People will do what they do,” and that statues are not that important to her. Maybe this attitude is why Antifa seemed so gung-ho in their campaign to destroy statues and memorials.
The public is not neutral in the face of violent acts
Democrats sit on the fence when it comes to acknowledging, or condemning, the extreme elements of recent protests. Some Democratic leaders have even spoken in SUPPORT of Antifa despite its violent history, others like Jerry Nadler said, “Antifa was ‘imaginary’ “. Mounting research however shows that the public does not support staying neutral in the face of violent acts. In the Pew Research Center’s national poll taken for June 16-22, 73% of respondents thought local police funding should stay about the same or be increased. Another poll suggests that the fallout from the Black Lives Matter protests has given Trump a brilliant new rallying call boosting his re-election campaign.
This poll conducted by the Washington based, Democracy Institute, surveyed a randomly selected sample of likely voters via interactive voice response questions, using a party identification turnout model of: Democrats = 38 percent; Republicans = 38 percent; and Independents = 24 percent. In one question, given a choice between which phrases identified their views 71 percent chose “all lives matter” while 29 percent picked “black lives matter”. On the topic of statues being attacked and pulled down, 74 percent said they disapproved of the actions while 77 percent disagreed with the assertion supported by many Democrat politicians that Mount Rushmore with the faces of four US Presidents carved on it “is racist”.
The poll also showed that 59 percent approved of the President’s handling of the riots and protests, 40 percent want him to be tougher, while 60 percent think Joe Biden has not been critical enough. In addition, 67 percent prefer President Trump’s law and order message compared to 29 percent who want black community relations improved with the police. Hopes that a black running mate for Vice President Biden will help seal the campaign for him have also been questioned in the poll with 79 percent saying it would make no difference.
The poll also indicates that President Trump may be benefiting from “silent support” which means it is absent from a lot of polls, and has made Biden the odds-on favorite to win. This sentiment has been expressed in Democrat circles too. Democratic Rep. Elissa Slotkin (Michigan), believes that that polls showing the president behind former Vice President Joe Biden is “inaccurate.” She said that she learned from GQR, a large Washington-based polling firm that surveys often count people they determine are “likely voters,” but in 2016 the number of people who told pollsters that they didn’t have plans to vote but ultimately did “were fundamentally undercounted.”
It must be noted of course that too many variables are at play for polls to accurately predict at this stage. They just provide a snapshot in time, but at this time the snapshot veers in the direction of support for the initiatives and campaign rallying calls of President Trump.

US Attorney General Bill Barr on Thursday delivered a speech on China policy at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.
Barr slammed the CCP and said China is secretly coercing and pressuring US business leaders.
“The CCP has long used public threats of retaliation and barred market access to exert influence,” Barr said. “More recently, however, the CCP has also stepped up behind the scenes efforts to cultivate and coerce American business executives to further its political objectives.”
Barr continued, “Efforts that are all the more pernicious because they are largely hidden from public view.”
Barr said this presents a significant threat because “hiding behind American voices allows the Chinese government to elevate its influence campaigns and put a friendly face on its pro-regime policies.”
Barr also called out universities in the US that take money from China and kowtow to the CCP by silencing speech or canceling events on topics considered “controversial by Beijing.”
During the pre-trial jury selection process, Marando and Judge Amy Berman Jackson tried to arrest this GP journalist for exposing the blatant jury bias unfolding as the jurors were evaluated and selected in the early days of Stone’s November trial in 2019.
This Gateway Pundit reporter joined Owen Shroyer during his War Room show on Infowars to discuss the hiring of Mr. Marando and why it signals the long expected death of remaining conservative or right-leaning accounts that support America First policies and the re-election of President Trump on Facebook.
Roger Stone decried Facebook’s hire as well, commenting on the hire exclusively to TGP.
“It appears to me that Mr. Marando played some move in the recent role by Facebook to illegally censor me. In view of the fact that multiple witnesses have signed affidavits that Marando openly bragged that he knew that my posting on Instagram was not a crosshairs, but was in fact the trademarked logo of the organization that created the image I posted of Judge Amy Berman Jackson, I will soon be moving aggressively to disbar Mr. Marando. I don’t know how Facebook will feel about having a Chief Counsel who is no longer licensed to practice law representing their company.”
North Carolina City Unanimously Approves Reparations For Black Residents Tyler Durden
Thu, 07/16/2020 – 12:45
The city of Asheville, North Carolina has voted to provide reparations to the city’s black residents and their descendants – not through direct payments, but via ‘investments in areas where black residents face disparities,’ according to the Citizen Times.
"Hundreds of years of black blood spilled that basically fills the cup we drink from today," said Councilman Keith Young, one of two black members of the City Council, which voted 7-0 on Tuesday night to approve the measure.
"It is simply not enough to remove statutes. Black people in this country are dealing with issues that are systemic in nature," Young added.
The resolution calls on the city to create the Community Reparations Commission, inviting community groups and other local governments to join. It will be the commission’s job to make concrete recommendations for programs and resources to be used.
Councilwoman Sheneika Smith, who is Black, said the council had gotten emails from those "asking, ‘Why should we pay for what happened during slavery?‘"
"(Slavery) is this institution that serves as the starting point for the building of the strong economic floor for white America, while attempting to keep Blacks subordinate forever to its progress," said Smith. –Citizen Times
The resolution begins:
WHEREAS, Black People have been unjustly Enslaved; and
WHEREAS, Black People have been unjustly Segregated; and
WHEREAS, Black people have been unjustly Incarcerated; and
WHEREAS, Black people have been denied housing through racist practices in the private realty market, including redlining, steering, blockbusting, denial of mortgages, and gentrification.
"The resulting budgetary and programmatic priorities may include but not be limited to increasing minority home ownership and access to other affordable housing, increasing minority business ownership and career opportunities, strategies to grow equity and generational wealth, closing the gaps in health care, education, employment and pay, neighborhood safety and fairness within criminal justice," the resolution continues.
Seattle’s police department may have dismantled the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest (or “CHOP”), but the memory of the “summer of love,” as it was declared by Seattle’s Mayor Jenny Durkan, lives on, and the city has now pledged to engage the spirit of the demonstration in its hiring practices.
According to the Washington Free Beacon, Seattle is now making experience in advocating for social justice and developing policies aimed at “racial equity” as key resume elements for candidates competing for city jobs, including jobs with the Seattle Public Library, and the Seattle Public Utilities, which handles the city’s water, sewage, and garbage services.
The two jobs are also well-paid, and the winning candidate will make over six figures a year — a salary exempt from Seattle’s JumpStart tax, which punishes high wage earners with an additional tax surcharge designed to help the city pay for “fair housing” and coronavirus relief.
“The city of Seattle is hiring ‘social justice’ advocates to staff its administrative offices—and unlike private-sector jobs, these positions aren’t subject to the city’s new tax on six-figure salaries,” the Free Beacon reports. “Library administrators, public utilities employees, and city auditors are just some of the positions Seattle is hiring for that have prerequisites of advancing ‘racial and social justice equality,’ according to city job postings.”
The library’s “director of Administrative Services” position pays “between $110,393 and $182,155” annually, according to the Free Beacon, and is responsible for overseeing the library’s multi-million dollar budget. Although knowledge of financial services is required for the position, it seems an understanding of social justice is just as important.
Candidates must be “knowledgeable in the area of race and social justice, and developing policies with stakeholder involvement for better community and staff equity.”
Seattle Public Utilities, which handles water, sewage, and garbage collection, is hiring a “Deputy Director of People, Culture and Community” — and, in this case, it does not seem as though direct knowledge of city utilities or services is required for the role, which pays an estimated $215,000.
Candidates, instead, must understand how “to embed race and social justice and service equity policies and practices across the utility, by positioning equity at the core of decision-making at Seattle Public Utilities.”
The city of Seattle itself, the Free Beacon says, is hiring for its own social justice coordinator — a plum city job with a $180,000 salary.
Seattle, of course, is still reeling from the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest, and is likely facing at least two federal lawsuits over the city’s handling of the weeks-long demonstration, which forced longtime residents and business owners in the Capitol Hill neighborhood out of their homes, and resulted in at least two deaths, both of black teens.
Seattle’s mayor refused for weeks to police the “autonomous zone” that sprang up around one of the city’s police precincts and only moved to dismantle the protest after nightly violent episodes.

While ViacomCBS has fired MTV host Nick Cannon for his anti-white and anti-Semitic comments, The Fox Network has decided to let the racist and host of it’s flagship gameshow, The Masked Singer, keep his job, claiming that he “inadvertently” spread hate.
Oh yeah, saying that white, or “non-melanated” people “rob, steal, rape, kill and fight” because of their lack of skin pigmentation just slipped out. Going through the genetic and historical reasons behind why white people and Jewish people suck is an unfortunate verbal tic.
Anyways, Cannon placated at least some of his media benefactors on Wednesday with a gushing apology for his anti-Semitic comments from his June 30 podcast episode of Cannon’s Class. He tweeted on July 15, “First and foremost I extend my deepest and most sincere apologies to my Jewish sisters and brothers for the divisive and hurtful words that came out of my mouth.”
Apparently, non-Jewish whites don’t merit an apology.
In a subsequent tweet, the Fox host and former “Wild N’ Out” host added, “On my podcast I used words & referenced literature I assumed to be factual to uplift my community [which] instead turned out to be hateful propaganda and stereotypical rhetoric that pained another community.”
How’s that for gobbledygook?
The controversial words from Cannon’s podcast included calling non-colored people “less” than people of color, and calling them “closer to animals” than “melanated” people. He explained this via some harebrained black supremacist pseudoscience that claimed “non-melanated people” – which he explained included white people and Jewish people – can’t harness the sun, thereby they suffer “low self-esteem,” which is ultimately why they have lashed out historically against other racial groups.
He also asserted that “Melanated people” are the actual Semitic people and made a reference to anti-Semite and racist Rev. Louis Farrakhan for good measure.
Despite saying all those things, Fox accepted Cannon’s apology, essentially buying it as he didn’t know any better. A statement from the network read, “He is clear and remorseful that his words were wrong and lacked both understanding and context, and inadvertently promoted hate. This was important for us to observe.” Wow, Fox certainly looks out for its own, even if they’re vile racists and hate Jewish people.
The network added, “Nick has sincerely apologized and quickly taken steps to educate himself and make amends… we will move forward with Nick and help him advance this important conversation, broadly.” Uh, advance what conversation? That racism is bad? Yeah, that topic could be advanced by kicking Cannon off of a primetime hosting gig, especially when showbiz people are getting canned for much less.
Also, doesn’t defending folks like Cannon embolden others who subscribe to these dangerous beliefs? Perhaps it’s why African American radio host Charlamagne Tha God came out and said that Nick Cannon’s firing from ViacomCBS proves that “Jews have the power.” Apparently there’s no fear of being cancelled for him, is there? Charlemagne also blasted white people too, adding, “I don’t even have to begin to run down the long list of violent, murderous, savage acts from white people in this country.”
And for heaven’s sake, “Charlamagne” is supposed to be one of the gatekeepers of African American pop culture. He’s one of the guys that the former Vice President has to appear on radio with to convince the black community to vote Dem. Clearly a few of them are Farrakhan supporters, anti-Semites, and hate white people. But yeah keep defending actual racists, Fox. Certainly it seems some are more preferable than others.
Clearly MSNBC host Katy Tur is not accustomed to anyone fighting back against her left-wing partisan sniping. During a contentious interview Wednesday afternoon, Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh embarrassed the “news” anchor by repeatedly calling out her cable channel as a propaganda arm of the Biden campaign.
The exchange began with Tur whining about President Trump criticizing his Democratic opponent’s record during a Rose Garden press conference on Tuesday: “The President responded to Joe Biden’s economic and climate plan yesterday by having an event in the Rose Garden. Are we going to see more of that, where a Rose Garden event is disguised as a campaign event, since the President is not able to hold those big rallies?”
Murtaugh immediately destroyed the fantasy that the leftist media were anything but the Democratic Party’s spin machine:
I think we’ve seen the outrage expressed by the media over the President’s remarks yesterday. But let’s talk about what’s actually going on. The media and Democrats and Joe Biden, they don’t like it when the President tweets, they don’t want him to be holding rallies, they don’t want him to communicate with Americans. They don’t want him to speak at Mount Rushmore, of all places. And now, they don’t want him to hold press conferences. You know, Joe Biden will read a speech from a Teleprompter a couple of times a week and spend every word attacking President Trump, and the President is one who likes to fight back. And he’s going to take his opportunities where he can get them.
Clearly caught off guard by someone tearing down her facade of being a journalist, Tur interrupted: “[Trump] spoke for 63 minutes and took a handful of questions at the end….and started talking about a variety of different subjects, a lot of it just was not correct. Are you saying that that wasn’t a campaign event?”
Murtaugh didn’t miss a beat as he rattled off facts that Democrats in the press don’t want people to know:
…there’s not one reporter who covers this President who could possibly say they don’t have access to him and the ability to ask him questions. Joe Biden went 89 days between holding press conferences, and in that time, the President took questions from groups of reporters 55 times during the space of that 89 days. This is the most accessible president that any reporter has ever had access to….by the way, the questions that the President took were far more than the zero questions that Joe Biden took yesterday. Joe Biden gave a speech and outlined the complete upending of our entire economic system with his $2 trillion Green New Deal package and he took zero questions, and wasn’t even asked to defend it.
Later in the segment, Tur desperately tried to change the subject: “You talk about how you want to make sure that attendees for the President’s rallies are safe. In Tulsa, the campaign was seen taking away social distancing signs from the rafters. You also didn’t require masks…”
However, the Trump campaign spokesman wasn’t having it:
…we did take extraordinary steps to protect the people who came to the rally in Tulsa. We gave every single attendee, everyone who entered had to pass a temperature check. We gave every attendee a mask, we provided more hand sanitizer than any large group of people could possibly ever – ever possibly use.
And there was no such organized effort to protect the safety of people who were engaged in these massive protests in city after city. No organized efforts at safety whatsoever. And I do not recall MSNBC or CNN or anybody else being concerned about the safety of people who attended those gatherings. But suddenly when it is involving a President Trump rally, then of course – then these safety measures are paramount. But when it’s a large gathering with a political message that MSNBC would agree with, suddenly safety measures are really on the back burner.
At that point, Tur claimed they were out of time, but then proceeded to lecture her guest:
We will note the President is the only one having indoor rallies or events of that scale in the entire country. Again, the protests were outdoors, all of the doctors and health experts say that that is a safer place to hold them. I attended a number of those rallies, everybody was wearing a mask, hand sanitizer was handed out.
When the segment actually ended several seconds later, Murtaugh sarcastically mocked her blatant activism: “I appreciate that speech, Katy, thank you.”
Tur wasn’t the only person whose skin Murtaugh got under, her co-host Chuck Todd actually spewed this absurd lie moments after the interview: “And just a reminder, for what it’s worth, there is no editorial point of view here on any of these newscasts on MSNBC in the daytime.”
Exactly how stupid do these left-wing hacks think people are? Back in March, the Meet the Press host and staunch Democrat similarly declared with a straight face that he had “no point of view” on politics.
This failed attempt by Tur and Todd to campaign for Joe Biden was brought to viewers by Publisher’s Clearing House and Procter & Gamble. You can fight back by letting these advertisers know what you think of them sponsoring such content.
Here is a transcript of the July 16 segment:
2:46 PM ET
KATY TUR: And joining us now for more on all of this is communications director for the Trump 2020 campaign, Tim Murtaugh. Tim, always good to see you. Thanks for joining us.
TIM MURTAUGH: Sure.
TUR: The President responded to Joe Biden’s economic and climate plan yesterday by having an event in the Rose Garden. Are we going to see more of that, where a Rose Garden event is disguised as a campaign event, since the President is not able to hold those big rallies?
MURTAUGH: Well, I mean, I think we’ve seen the outrage expressed by the media over the President’s remarks yesterday.
TUR: He spoke for 63 minutes and took a handful of questions at the end. Are you really –
MURTAUGH: Yesterday he laid out a very effective case.
TUR: Tim, I’m sorry, he spoke for 50 – for over 60 minutes and only took a handful of questions at the end. It was a speech that was supposed to be about Hong Kong. He touched on Hong Kong for a moment, and then went off and started talking about a variety of different subjects, a lot of it just was not correct. Are you saying that that wasn’t a campaign event?
MURTAUGH: I’m saying that the President is one who’s going to fight back. I think if you’re going to – there’s not one reporter who covers this President who could possibly say they don’t have access to him and the ability to ask him questions. Joe Biden went 89 days between holding press conferences, and in that time, the President took questions from groups of reporters 55 times during the space of that 89 days.
This is the most accessible president that any reporter has ever had access to, so to hold up yesterday – and which, by the way, the questions that the President took were far more than the zero questions that Joe Biden took yesterday. Joe Biden gave a speech and outlined the complete upending of our entire economic system with his $2 trillion Green New Deal package and he took zero questions, and wasn’t even asked to defend it. So it’s a clear contrast.
The President faces the media routinely at the White House, on his way to Marine One, at the steps of Air Force One, and in regularly scheduled press conferences. He is extremely accessible to reporters. And I think if you talk to your reporters who cover Joe Biden, I’ll bet you they would privately tell you they are frustrated with being completely unable to ask Joe Biden a single question.
(…)
2:50 PM
TUR: You talk about how you want to make sure that attendees for the President’s rallies are safe. In Tulsa, the campaign was seen taking away social distancing signs from the rafters. You also didn’t require masks, although you did hand them out. The governor of Oklahoma has now contracted COVID-19, he was not a wearing a mask. Herman Cain was there at the Tulsa rally, not wearing a mask, he’s contracted COVID-19. You’re not necessarily going to require masks at your potentially outdoor event in Jacksonville. I’m confused at how you are protecting those who are coming to your events but then acting against all of the public health guidelines, including from your own – this administration, on how to do that.
MURTAUGH: That’s actually a completely inaccurate assertion. First, the governor – our rally in Tulsa was 25 days ago. And so, to associate the governor’s positive test today with something that occurred 25 days ago is really – it’s not fair to connect those two events. And secondly, we did take extraordinary steps to protect the people who came to the rally in Tulsa.
TUR: Tim Murtaugh, that’s all the time we have. Thank you so much for joining us. We will note the President is the only one having indoor rallies or events of that scale in the entire country. Again, the protests were outdoors, all of the doctors and health experts say that that is a safer place to hold them. I attended a number of those rallies, everybody was wearing a mask, hand sanitizer was handed out.
MURTAUGH [CROSS-TALK]: So then by that statement then, I would take it that you were all a-okay with the New Hampshire rally that we were planning?
TUR [CROSS-TALK]: And we just saw the images of those rallies, people were not wearing masks inside the President’s rally, there was not social distancing being practiced. We saw the signs being removed from seats.
MURTAUGH [CROSS-TALK]: Would you then praise the New Hampshire rally because it was in an open-door airplane hangar?
TUR [CROSS-TALK]: So you can say you handed out hand sanitizer and gave out masks. They weren’t wearing them. And also, Dr. Fauci today has said that the incubation period for this disease could be longer than just two weeks. So Tim Murtaugh, thanks so much for joining us. We appreciate all of your time.
MURTAUGH: I appreciate that speech, Katy, thank you.
CHUCK TODD: We will have the brand-new NBC News/Wall Street Journal, will be unveiled today at 5:00 p.m. on Meet the Press Daily. And just a reminder, for what it’s worth, there is no editorial point of view here on any of these newscasts on MSNBC in the daytime. But at 5:00 p.m. Eastern, we will have that, those more up to date numbers. And we’ll be right back.
