It is the most effective tool that the Democrat-media complex has.
– Andrew Breitbart
Long before the Trump presidency, and long before the Resistance, Andrew Breitbart understood that left’s use of the race card was a simply a tactic and effective one at that.
Now, with the midterms upon us, an unhinged media and an unhinged Hollywood are employing that same tactic with an unparalleled fervor, casting aspersions on any and every deplorable.
It’s a playbook and it’s nothing new.
The interview above was taken from the movie Runaway Slave.
It was released in January of 2012.
Below is the transcript.
One of the most effective tactics that the left has is the ability to accuse its opponents of “being a racist.” It’s an impossible negative to dispel. It immediately puts somebody on the defensive, and it sends a message to the audience: you shouldn’t take seriously what’s coming out of that person’s mouth, because they’ve been degraded as being a racist. In the era of my conservatism, which is the last 20 years of my life, I’ve tried to make the argument that that’s an affirmation of precisely the opposite: that if, in this country, being accused of [being] a racist is the worst thing that causes people to shut up, doesn’t that mean that racism has been dispelled to a huge degree? That to be accused of it, the American people recoil, and don’t want the in your proximity? If racism were the default in this culture, and somebody accused you of being a racist, wouldn’t you say, “Yeah, I am! Just as is the majority, you’re gonna deal with it.” It is used because those who wield it know how effective it is. That is the primary reason. It is the most effective tool that the Democrat-media complex has.
Moms from across America made their way down to the southern border to experience firsthand and get a mom’s eye view on where the migrant caravan might stop.
Mothers came from across the country from Nevada, New York, Chicago and Washington D.C in a decision to caravan themselves to the U.S.- Mexico border in South Texas.
“I’m here as a Texas mom and actually I am encouraged, moms from across the country come and join us to stand together,” said Alice Linahan, a mother from Dallas.
Many of them shocked to find out what separates both countries.
“To see this wall I mean we heard about it and talked about it and the Rio Grande and I can’t believe it—that is what is separating—that is not securing our border at all,” said Stephanie Trussell, a mom from Chicago.
And seeing firsthand an apprehension of two undocumented immigrants from El Salvador.
Beth Parlato from Buffalo, New York said it was a scene that she had not experienced before and called the experience “surreal.”
With the migrant caravan on its way to the border, these moms heard from local educators living in the Rio Grande Valley.
Parlato said she wanted to see how close the schools were to the borders and get a mother’s perspective.
“Hopefully on Tuesday the American people will vote to send people back to D.C. to help him [President Donald Trump] get this agenda passed and get this wall built everywhere around and then we would love to help whoever,” Trussell said.
Many Central American parents who were detained separately from their children during the April-to-June zero-tolerance program are leaving up to 500 children and youths in the United States, according to federal data.
An additional 2,104 migrant children and youths have been reunited with their migrant parents, according to the data recently provided to a judge by the Department of Health and Human Services. But many of their parents may choose to leave some of the 1,2014 children and youths in the United States when judges eject the parents’ asylum pleas.
“There’s a lot of people from Central America who are willing to leave their kids here, rather than take them back,” said Mark Krikorian, the director of the Center for Immigration Studies. He continued:
Especially if there is relative here [in the United States], or if the child is close to 18 and can get a job and send the money home, it makes perfect sense.
It does not mean in every instance that the illegal migrant knew what they are doing and planned to drop their kids off, but it does add some nuance to the sob stories that the media has been retailing.
The high percentage of children deliberately left by their parents contradicts the media’s anguished narrative that the children were cruelly “ripped” from their uncomprehending parents’ arms.
Instead, the data reinforces the abundant evidence that journalists do not want to recognize how poor Central American migrants are rationally exploiting the United State’s asylum system to win green cards and education for their children.
Many wealthy foreign parents, including many Chinese and Russians, use a different strategy to win citizenship for their foreign children. They fly into the United States long enough to give birth on American soil and to pick up their child’s new Social Security Numbers.
The number of abandoned Central American children will likely rise as U.S. immigration courts order the deportation of the remaining 2,o00 migrant parents who were released and reunited with their 2,104 children. Since their release, the 2,000 parents and their 2,104 children are allowed to live and work in the United States until a judge decide their pleas for asylum, likely in 2020 or 2021.
Data from prior years suggest that few of the migrants’ pleas for asylum will be approved by a judge and that most will be ordered home. But the available data also suggest that most migrants skip their final hearing to dodge deportation by the Department of Homeland Security.
“Most of the kids and parents are probably here to stay, and that’s what they and the smugglers and the anti-border activists are counting on,” Krikorian said. “How much effort is ICE going to put into picking up some 12-year-old whose asylum claim has been turned down?”
Trump canceled the zero-tolerance enforcement program in June amid an outpouring of emotional complaints from pro-migration media personalities, pro-migration activists, and from Democratic politicians. The enforcement program was portrayed as a cruel “family separation” program, even though the 2015 Flores judicial agreement approved by President Barack Obama requires that children be housed separately when their parents are detained for longer than 20 days.
Trump announced a new strategy on November 1 to block the growing number of Central American migrants who make asylum requests to help walk past the border guards and into U.S. jobs.
The new plan will use tent cities to detain migrants and their children until their asylum pleas are resolved in as little as 40 days. The plan also replaces the Flores court decision with a new regulation allowing detention of children — with their parents — for more than 20 days.
The plan was praised by Krikorian. ‘They should not be releasing anyone who applies for asylum in the first place … The goal should be that every asylum applicant is held during the entire course of the proceedings,” he said, but added that pro-migration groups will likely get friendly judges to block the plan.
The HHS data sheet shows that 2,104 children have been released from the agency’s Office of Refugee Resettlement and then reunited with their migrant parents prior to court hearings.
The HHS data also shows that the group of roughly 500 abandoned children and youths is comprised of:
One hundred and eighteen children who have been left in government care by their parents since the parents’ deportation, according to a count by the Ameican Civil Liberties Union.
Forty-three additional children remain in government care “because further review shows they were not separated from parents by DHS.”
Thirty-three additional children are “in [government] care where a final determination has been made they cannot be reunified because the parent is unfit or presents a danger to the child.”
Thirty-three children are in government care while the parents are outside the United States.
Another 14 children have parents in the United States but have not been reunited with their parents, for reasons that are unexplained by HHS.
Three hundred children have been released from HHS because they have become adults who can file for asylum themselves, or because they are being sheltered by other people, mostly the relatives of the migrants. The released children and youths are free to work in Americans’ workplaces and to use Americans’ schools. Some of those children and youths may be living close to or with their released parents prior to their asylum hearings.
If the 300 are excluded from the overall tally, the number of left-behind children remains at 200.
Investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson writes in the Hill that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has been using its surveillance on American citizens “for the better part of two decades, if not longer.”
“Maybe you once thought the CIA wasn’t supposed to spy on Americans here in the United States,” said the Emmy-winning investigative journalist. “That concept is so yesteryear.” She points to newly declassified 2014 documents which “reveal the CIA not only intercepted emails of U.S. citizens, but they were emails of the most sensitive kind,” namely about whistleblowers:
The disclosures, kept secret until now, are two letters of “congressional notification” from the Intelligence Community inspector general at the time, Charles McCullough. He stated that during “routine counterintelligence monitoring of government computer systems,” the CIA collected emails between congressional staff and the CIA’s head of whistleblowing and source protection.
McCullough was concerned about the “potential compromise to whistleblower confidentiality, and the consequent ‘chilling effect’ that the present [counterintelligence] monitoring system might have on Intelligence Community whistleblowing.”
While the CIA is supposedly restricted to spying on individuals “only for an authorized intelligence purpose” such as when someone is suspected of terrorism, they have also given themselves carte blanche to perform “routine counterintelligence monitoring of government computers.”
“The only reason we know any of this now is thanks to Sen. Chuck Grassley,” Attkisson said. Grassley pursued these “congressional notifications” for years while his staff was being spied on– but both the Obama and Trump administrations have made it exceedingly difficult to get at the information therein. The surveillance information was finally declassified by the new Intelligence Community Inspector General, Michael Atkinson.
“The fact that the CIA under the Obama administration was reading congressional staff’s emails about Intelligence Community whistleblowers raises serious policy concerns, as well as potential constitutional separation-of-powers issues that must be discussed publicly,” Grassley wrote in a statement.
Attkisson concludes with a rebuke of American complacency, saying:
But today, we’ve grown numb. Outrage has been replaced by a cynical, “Who’s surprised about that?” or the persistent belief that “Nothing’s really going to be done about it,” and, worst of all, “What’s so bad about it, anyway?”
She pointed to the FBI’s bald-faced attempts to stop President Trump from being elected as a symptom of a broader concern; that “bad actors targeting candidate Donald Trump and his associates” in order to keep people from learning that “our Intelligence Community [has been] increasingly spying on its own citizens, journalists, members of Congress and political enemies for the better part of two decades, if not longer.”

The Supreme Court of the United States denied review on Monday in the case challenging California’s concealed carry law.
That case made its way to the Supreme Court via the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
It originated with Sacramento County residents James Rothery and Andrea Hoffman, who both argued that the structure of California’s concealed law opened the door to unequal application and favoritism, while closing the door to a consistent exercise of the Second Amendment right to bear arms.
California has a “May Issue” policy for concealed carry permit issuance. This means, even for residents who lack a criminal record and are legally able to buy a firearm, the local sheriff has the discretion to refrain from approving their permit application unless they demonstrate “good cause” for carrying a firearm.
Rothery’s petition for certiorari noted these things, punctuating what they believed to be an arbitrary application of the permitting process:
There are no uniform state standards for the issuance of a permit; leaving the decision entirely within the discretion of the locally elected sheriff. The discretionary and arbitrary application process itself creates perverse incentives for the approval or denial of an application. Most individuals in many California counties, including Sacramento County, cannot obtain a permit to carry a concealed weapon unless the individual is a friend or campaign contributor to the local county sheriff. Honorably retired California peace officers are exempted from this restraint as they are automatically granted a lifetime right to carry concealed weapons, regardless of need or merit.
Rothery was dismissed by a district court, then appealed to the Ninth Circuit, where the dismissal was affirmed. The case was then appealed to Supreme Court, where it was docketed on July 27. On November 5, the Court announced it would not hear the case.
“It is never any reflection on the legal merits when the Supreme Court declines to take a case,” explains Breitbart News Senior Legal Editor Ken Klukowski. “This petition was poorly written, making this case an unsuitable vehicle for the Supreme Court to take up such an important constitutional issue as Second Amendment rights outside the home.”
The case is Rothery v. Blanas, No. 18-121 in the Supreme Court of the United States.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Monday that personnel from their Civil Rights Division will “monitor compliance with federal voting rights laws” at polling places in 35 jurisdictions across 19 states to ensure the integrity of the midterm elections against “fraud,” said U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
“Citizens of America control this country through their selection of their governmental officials at the ballot box. Likewise, fraud in the voting process will not be tolerated. Fraud also corrupts the integrity of the ballot,” said Sessions in a DOJ press release.
He said the department will use “every lawful tool that we have, both civil and criminal, to protect the rights of millions of Americans to cast their vote unimpeded at one of more than 170,000 precincts across America.”
Sessions emphasized that “voting rights are constitutional rights, and they’re part of what it means to be an American.” He noted, “The Department of Justice has been entrusted with an indispensable role in securing these rights for the people of this nation.”
The Justice Department will send representatives to monitor counties in Alaska, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.
The DOJ routinely sends personnel to districts across the country during elections to ensure the integrity of the voting process, according to the press release. In 2016, the administration of then President Barack Obama deployed more than 500 personnel to 67 jurisdictions in 28 states for the 2016 presidential election.
The Justice Department also stated that the Civil Rights Division “has regularly monitored all kinds of elections in the field around the country throughout every year to protect the rights of voters, and not just in federal elections.”
Thus, on November 6, “the Division again will be monitoring in the field around the country.”
Despite the regularity of DOJ monitoring during elections, some are unhappy about the announcement. Kristen Clarke, president and executive director for the activist Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law immediately condemned the DOJ monitoring, alleging it promoted a “false narrative about voter fraud.”
In a statement, Clarke also accused Sessions of “voter suppression.” She asserted, “At every turn, this Justice Department has failed to take action to enforce the Voting Rights Act and protect the interest of minority voters.”
She added her organization will be “watching” the DOJ’s voter monitoring “with great skepticism.”
Conversely, the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), a national election integrity law firm, commended the DOJ plan to “monitor and enforce federal election laws with personnel across 19 key states.”
“Jeff Sessions is doing a wonderful job directing the Department to enforce all federal election laws in sensitive jurisdictions and at large,” said PILF President and General Counsel J. Christian Adams in a statement. “What a refreshing restoration of the rule of law. This DOJ leadership, unlike the last administration, are clearly setting a course for how to deter, detect, and confront violations of election law.”

On Monday, appearing on Fox & Friends, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) sounded quite confident about the GOP’s chances on Tuesday, asserting that the GOP would "kick butt in the Senate" and that "I’ve never seen Republicans more united than I do now." Graham also blasted the Democratic Party, saying they "will do anything to win."
EXCLUSIVE: Bannon: Vote Red, Even for the RINO, Never Trumper Because Dems ‘Promise Trump’s Head On A Pike’ (VIDEO)
by Alicia Powe November 5, 2018
Every Trump supporter must vote for the Republican running in their district on Tuesday or the Democrats, who are “promising Trump’s head on a pike,” will win control of the House and the Senate and ultimately impeach the president, predicts former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon.
Even if you have to vote for a RINO or a ‘Never Trumper,’ vote red, Bannon urged in a wide ranging interview with The Gateway Pundit.
“Every Trump supporter has to vote, particularly in these key districts for these congressmen. I don’t care even if the congressman is a RINO, that’s a discussion for a different day. This is a referendum on Trump,” he said. “That congressman, whether he is a RINO, whether he is a ‘Never Trumper,’ whether you don’t like him, whether you think he’s too milquetoast, he’s a proxy vote for the Trump presidency.
“What the Democrats are doing now is psychological warfare. They are trying to say ‘hey this thing is over, it’s going to be a blue wave,’” Bannon said. “Everybody on our side is a big believer in history and they study history. This is historic. This Tuesday is the first reelect of Donald Trump.”
Democrats are at an advantage ahead of the midterms, Bannon warned, because its base isn’t divided like the establishment and anti-establishment factions of the GOP.
“It’s still this tension between the grassroots and the establishment ongoing. The Democrats have never had this. They have been promised Trump’s head on a pike on Tuesday. The young people – the ‘Times Up movement,’ the ‘Resistance’ – they have been walking districts like the Tea Party. They’ve been walking districts in June and July in the hot heat and humidity, for one thing. Not to work with Donald Trump on prison reform. They have been promised his head on a pike, that he will be impeached. If we hold the House of Representatives, even by one seat they will be just shattered.”
“If we hold the House, they will turn on each other with a viciousness that we’ve never seen before. Remember, Jim Hoft, The Breitbart crowd, the Gateway Pundit crowd, we’ve been at this ant-establishment-establishment civil war for nine years inside the Republican party.”
After a Trump supporter from Florida was charged with sending ‘mail bombs’ to at least a dozen top Democrats and a man shouting anti-Semitic slurs opened fire inside a Pittsburgh synagogue, the GOP may have lost some momentum ahead of the midterm elections, Bannon argued, but Republicans can still maintain control of the House and the Senate if every Trump supporter votes red.
“Given the tragedy the last couple of weeks, between the pipe bombs and the massacre in Pittsburgh – momentum shifted. I think that up until that time we had the momentum to hold the Senate and maybe pick up two or three seats. I thought in the House, we’d hold it by two or three seats. I don’t know right now,” he said.
“What I do know – it’s very simple – if the Trump base and everybody in the Trump base that hears this, if they for the next two days stop binge-watching Netflix and literally get online, get on one of these volunteer phone banks, get all your friends.”
Trump supporters do not need to devote time convincing liberals to support Trump in order for the GOP to win the midterms, Bannon explained, they only need to focus their attention on convincing conservatives to go to the polls and vote for the Republican running in their district.
“If the people who go to Gateway Pundit, which are millions of people, if those people start to connect with all the other people they know that are Trump followers – you don’t have to convert anybody, forget conversations — just get the people that support Trump,” he said. “Make sure they vote, and make sure everybody they know voted. If we just get the Trump base, not only are we going to hold the Senate and pick up seats, I think we can hold the House of Representatives by a couple of seats. I do not think this a foregone conclusion.”
While Democrats may have more momentum and unity ahead of the election, Democrats accelerated the GOP base with its mistreatment of newly-appointed Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh, Bannon contends.
How the Democrats comported themselves during the hearing – for the first time we could visualize what going forward would be like if the House of Representatives is taken by the Democrats. People could see this is going to be like the Moscow show trials every day,” he said. “You could actually see how the Democrats with the gavel and subpoena power would run things.
“Bifurcated was the vote itself. What happened in the gallery of the Senate, that out of control thing, and in the plaza capital, and in front of the Supreme Court where it was literally a mob scene out of the French Revolution. If you had pulled the guillotines out there, they’d be taking heads off. People saw that anarchy and said ‘it’s time for me to go to a phone bank, its time for me to start walking a precinct. That is the first time – the nationalization of the election plus Kavanaugh started to galvanize the Trump base to say ‘I got it, the left has been out there working and we have to match that.’
