Democrat gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum held a campaign event today at the Temple Kol Ami Emanu-El Temple in Plantation, Florida.

But as the event was starting Andrew Gillum had a gay Jewish journalist DRAGGED from the meeting.

Jacob Engels was asking a question on Gillum’s history of anti-Semitism when he was tossed from the event– at a Jewish synagogue!

Investigative reporter Laura Loomer also attended the event on Thursday.
But Gillum had Laura Loomer forcibly removed from the premises.

WaPo: Trump mulling EO suspending asylum applications as caravans approach

If 800 soldiers can’t stop the caravans at the southern border, will an executive order do the trick? Donald Trump may issue an EO suspending all asylum grants from Central America, the Washington Post reported last night. That would effectively close down any legal avenue for their entry — at least until courts weigh in on the idea:

Fixated on the migrant caravan moving north through Mexico, President Trump is weighing a plan to shut the U.S. border to Central Americans and deny them the opportunity to seek asylum, asserting similar emergency powers used during the early 2017 “travel ban,” according to administration officials and people familiar with the proposal.

The White House is also preparing to deploy as many as 1,000 additional U.S. troops to assist in security operations at the southern border in anticipation of the caravan’s arrival, officials said.

Under U.S. law, foreign nationals fleeing persecution have the right to apply for asylum once they reach American soil, but the executive order under consideration would suspend that provision and bar Central Americans as a matter of national security, according to those familiar with the proposal.

Such a move would probably trigger immediate challenges in U.S. courts.

The White House has not yet confirmed this — but they’re not denying it either, NPR reports. One can see why Trump might like this idea.  At least theoretically, it would allow him to act with executive authority to resolve a crisis, and provide a clean and anticlimactic end to the caravan issue. Grants of asylum get processed through two executive agencies: U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a division of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) in the Department of Justice.

That’s the theory, anyway. In practical terms, it might not be such a clean anticlimax, as Paul Mirengoff points out:

Such an executive order would resemble the travel bans Trump ordered at the outset of his administration for individuals from certain countries, mostly in the Middle East. Like those orders, this one would face immediate challenge in court.

It might prove more difficult than the travel bans to defend in court on national security grounds (and the travel bans were not an easy lift). The current process that the caravan’s backers seek to exploit is ridiculous and, over time, destructive. But it may be hard to convince judges that the processing of, say, 3,000 to 5,000 more immigrants who are exploiting the system creates a national security emergency.

Changing that system would require legislation from Congress, not just an executive order. The Trump administration will argue in court — as they did with the travel bans — that the executive is at the zenith of its authority when dealing with border and entry issues, and that courts have very limited jurisdiction for scrutinizing asylum policies. In part, they will rely on the same arguments for executive and prosecutorial discretion that the Obama administration used to create DACA. The courts ended up supporting that argument in the end on Trump’s visa suspensions, but only in a very limited way and only after Trump had to rewrite the “travel-ban” EO twice.

That might be beside the point, however. The motivation here is twofold: first to deal with the crisis at hand when thousands of people show up demanding asylum, and second to be seen as dealing with the crisis at hand. An EO would work in the short run for both goals and act as a disincentive to successive “caravan” efforts. Even a court injunction against it would probably help Trump politically in the next few days. There are almost no downsides to it for Trump, so expect to see the EO come soon.

Whether it actually stops anyone is an entirely different matter.

Fake bombs are not bombs. Fake news is fake news.

The fake news of the day has been disingenuously pretending that any those persons to whom the fake bombs were addressed were in any danger.  They were not.  Who sends bombs to people who do not open their own mail?

As Roger L. Simon wrote, it doesn’t matter who built those little fake not-pipe bombs, the intent is clear.  The message?  See, it isn’t only the left that is vicious and violent.  The right is violent too!  Whoever is guilty of perpetrating this latest stunt is irrelevant; their intent is obvious.  Demonstrate that there are lunatics on the right too!  Great plan.

Underestimating the intelligence of the American people is a progressive conceit.  People on the left are confident that  those not on their “team” are all troglodytes.

We on the right cannot escape knowing their Marxist/socialist opinions, their plans for transforming America.  We are subjected to their views and values all day, every day, in print and on television.  But they know nothing of what or how we think or what our values are.  The young know nothing about the truth of American history or the Constitution.  Everything they have been taught is wrong.

With the exception those educated at Hillsdale College and a few other places, they know nothing about the Founding of this nation, the Constitution or  the Revolutionary War that won our independence.  They know nothing of the facts of the Civil War, Lincoln or the truth of the racism that characterized the Democratic Party then and still does; it is the left that defines all of us by skin color and/or on one scale of victimhood or another.

Ever so gradually, though, people are waking up to the left’s disdain for us all — black, white, brown, they view us all with contempt.  The videos released by Project Veritas, however anecdotal, are instructive.  Bredesen, McCaskill and Heitcamp are exactly the frauds conservatives always knew them to be.  None of them should ever have been elected to public office.  Nor should have been Robert Menendez in NJ, Keith Ellison in MN, or Andrew Gillum in FL.  All of them are  corrupt to their cores.  They became politicians to become wealthy and powerful and each of them did.  Yet they are small-time hoods compared to the Clintons and Obamas.  They all lack honesty and ethics.

The American  left to this day is unable to accept the results of the 2016 election.  So certain that their candidate would prevail they have suffered a psychotic break from which they have not recovered.  Every sentient being now knows that it was Hillary, the DNC, FBI, DOJ, and the NSA that  collaborated to prevent Trump from becoming President.  She/they fabricated the “dossier,” planted spies in the Trump campaign, falsified FISA warrants, and leaked to the media.  Their plan was a deep state coup like nothing else in US history.  All the evidence  is out there for all to see and read.  And still the left clings to the belief that they can bring Trump down with their coordinated, cooperative, “we’re-all-on-the-same-page” dictate that he colluded with Russia to win.

If there is one thing that characterizes the left it is that they are on the same page. They do not deviate from the Schumer/Pelosi orders from headquarters.  Conservatives do not share this “all on the same page” rule.  They run the gamut from wishy-washy RINOs like Jeff Flake, Ben Sasse and Bob Corker to courageous conservatives like Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, Ron De Santis, Ron Johnson,  Chuck Grassley, and Mark Meadows.   There are more but given the power they could wield, not enough.  Too many of them are cowards.

The Democrats are now a far left party and not one of them deviates from the party line.  Republicans are still a herd of unbroken wild horses, especially since Trump was elected President.  Too many of them are scared to utter the truth, that Trump is a great President!

All of which brings us back to the fake bombs, the left’s October surprise to swing an election.  The migrant army marching toward our southern border was likely a lefty ploy.  They hoped to have the specter of “children in cages” on Election Day to rout Republicans.

The Democrats still have not grasped the majority of Americans’ horror at this coming invasion, and it was backfiring.  So a person or persons unknown deployed the fake bomb scare; phony, inert, devices lacking detonating devices, meant to look like bombs but clearly evident as a hoax to bomb experts.  Those who were in the room with the device sent to CNN took pictures of it and tweeted  them out  They knew it was not dangerous the minute they saw it but are so convinced the rest of us are idiots that they pretended it was an actual threat.

Whoever the maker of the fake bombs turns out to be is, as Roger Simon asserted, irrelevant.  It is the mainstream media that is the malefactor in our life and time.  Jeff Zucker of CNN blamed Trump for the fake mail bombs as if CNN is not hugely responsible for the vicious political climate.  Anchors on CNN, like those on MSNBC, ABC, CBS, PBS and ABC regularly lie, omit news they do not like, and strive to indoctrinate how we all think about every issue that affects us all day after day.  They should be ignored because they do not report the news,  they are the enemy of truth and the American way.

If ever there were a sign that we should all vote and vote Republican, this ridiculous fake bomb scare is it.

Don’t fall for the cascade of media lies this election season

The media are in the business of selling political narratives.  It is incorrect to think the media are “reporting the facts.”  Those days, if they ever existed, are gone.  As consumers of news, we must always be skeptical and always look for the motives behind the stories.

Elections can turn on powerful narratives, so enormous effort is put into developing useful political storylines.  When Obama’s good friend, leftist activist Robert Creamer, wanted to create a media narrative about violent Trump-supporters, for the 2016 election, he hired and trained people to instigate violence at rallies, film the violence, and thus help the media sell their desired narrative. James O’Keefe provided undercover video proving that this happened.

If you have the media on your side, narratives are not that difficult to produce.  If, for example, real leftist violence is hurting your chances in an upcoming election, you could easily produce a counter-narrative.  You could make totally fake bombs and mail them to Democrat leaders.  We don’t know if that happened this week, but it certainly would be easy, and it would allow the lackeys in the media to tell the stories they are anxious to tell.

If Democrats have a problem with waning support from Hispanics, they could have a “caravan” of “refugees” head for the border right about now.  The stories the media will tell you about this caravan are probably already written and will contain the following: Trump is a racist and hates Hispanics, Trump is cruel, borders are cruel, etc.  There will be touching vignettes of sympathetic women and children (though the vast majority of the invaders are young males).

One tiresome lie that we hear during every election season is that Republicans are working hard to enact laws to keep black people from voting.  It would be wonderful if some of the people asserting this were asked to give evidence for the claim.  There is no evidence.  Any statement from them that implies that black people are not competent enough to get IDs simply shows their own racism.

It is amazing to see how easy it is for the media to change course on a narrative when it suits their purposes.  When being tough on borders was something the Democrats embraced (enjoy this video compilation of Democrats talking tough about illegal aliens), the media supported that position.  When Trump says exactly the same things, we are told he is a shocking, neo-Nazi racist.  Trump was never called a racist during his long career.  Now he is a Klansman, we are told.

Many political narratives are created from fraudulent acts.  Fraudulent hate crimes are practically a cottage industry, as you can see here and here.  Books have been written about this.  In a country where hate crimes against blacks, Muslims, or gay people are common, fraudulent hate crimes would not be necessary.  We live in a country where such crimes are so rare that they need to be manufactured.

You may have seen the bumper sticker: “Socialism, an Idea So Good, It Must Be Enforced By Guns.”  Some leftist narratives are considered so good that they are practically required beliefs.  Beliefs about gender and global warming are two examples.  People are shamed, and some are seriously punished for “improper” views on marriage…or on the desirability of having men calling themselves women compete with actual women in athletic events…or on the propriety of men entering women’s bathrooms if they feel like it.  Leftist wrath will descend on anyone who expresses opposing views.

There have been serious proposals to punish people who have politically incorrect views about global warming, despite the fact that skepticism is an essential part of science.  The required belief is the following: politicians can vote to change the climate of the world, making the temperature stable and decreasing bad storms.

Fortunately, not all dishonest attempts to influence elections work as planned.  Dan Rather, just before a presidential election, used forged and false documents in an attempt to harm George Bush.  It was people outside the mainstream media who exposed the fraud.  Perhaps the biggest attempt to sway an election with a false narrative was the collaboration among the Hillary campaign, top government officials, and the media to sell the “Trump colluded with Putin to steal the election” story.  That hoax is still in existence as a media narrative.  It didn’t destroy Trump the first time, but they are still trying.

As we approach these midterm elections, it is certain that the propaganda wing of the Democratic Party, the mainstream media, is making plans for a powerful barrage of stories aimed at energizing Democrats and demoralizing Republicans.  The stories need not bear any relation to reality.

Texas Democratic Party Leader Funded ‘Voter Fraud Ring,’ Says AG

A North Texas woman recently indicted as part of a “voter fraud ring” paid the others involved in the scheme with funds provided by a Democratic Party leader, say court documents filed by the Office of Attorney General Ken Paxton this week.

Leticia Sanchez was charged with 17 felony counts of voter fraud following an investigation by Paxton’s office. Sanchez, 57, allegedly paid her co-defendants to target elderly voters in select northern Fort Worth precincts in the 2016 March Democrat Party primary election to affect the outcome of certain down-ballot candidate races.

The state’s newly filed notice of intent to introduce evidence in the Sanchez criminal case alleged that Stuart Clegg, then Tarrant County Democratic Party executive director, funded the alleged voter fraud ring’s criminal activities.

Breitbart obtained the court documents which stated that “after learning that state police investigators were in Tarrant County interviewing voters and members of her vote harvesting group,” Sanchez sent a text message to her daughter, Leticia Sanchez Tepichin, “conveying a message from Sanchez and Stuart Clegg” that the others involved in the ring should not cooperate with investigators. The message, written in Spanish, told Tepichin to “advise immediately” that a group of “malicious people” were investigating “our work” and “our boss Mr. Stuart.” She also advised them that a lawyer was in charge of the matter and they should tell the lawyer immediately if they are approached by anyone with questions.

Previously, Breitbart reported the AG’s Election Fraud Unit said the women carried out their the ruse by “seeding” or proliferating mail ballots to the targeted precincts through forged signatures, altering historical applications, and resubmitting them without the voter’s knowledge.

Sanchez was one of four women indicted on a cumulative 30 counts of voter fraud. Tepichin, 39, was indicted on nine counts of voter fraud; Maria Rosa Solis, 40, was charged on two counts for forging signatures on the mail-in ballots; and Laura Parra, 24, received one count of forgery.

The state’s notice also stated that Sanchez faxed the fraudulently obtained applications for mail-in ballots using the fax machine of then Fort Worth City Councilman Sal Espino. The court document did not name Espino of any wrongdoing in connection with the case.

The court documents then said that Sanchez and her cohorts collaborated on the voter fraud scheme between January 2015 and March 2016, intending to affect the outcome of the 2016 March Democratic Primary election in the unidentified down-ballot races.

Despite these serious voter fraud charges, Greg Westfall, one of two attorneys for Tepichin, insisted the state’s case was politically motivated and sought to suppress minority voting, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

“They are being used by people who want to justify voter ID,” said Westfall. “At the end of the day, there’s not going to be any fraud in this deal.”

The other lawyer Frank Sellers described the four women as “intelligent, educated women” who are church goers that have “never been in trouble a day in their lives,” work “multiple jobs to support their families” and are “good, helpful people.”

Still, one alleged victim, 76-year-old Minnie Barela, a blind Fort Worth woman, said otherwise when she told the Star-Telegram that Sanchez turned up at her door “very friendly,” indicating she had the “authority” to help Barela with her mail-in ballot. Barela said she did not suspect anything wrong initially until Barela said she disagreed with Sanchez, who allegedly marked Barela’s ballot without her consent.

“While purporting to ‘assist’ the voter in filling out her ballot, Sanchez distracted the voter by talking only about the presidential race, while marking votes for the down-ballot candidates Sanchez was paid to support, without the voter’s knowledge or consent,” stated the court documents which included Barela’s testimony among many other elderly individuals impacted by the mail-in ballot voter fraud.

Barela called what Sanchez did “wrong” and expressed frustration that the accused took advantage of her “knowing that I was blind.” She said: “I learned my lesson.” Barela noted she will have one of her daughters take her to vote in person next time.

The Texas Democratic Party also made news recently when the Public Interest Legal Foundation released a complaint to county and state officers regarding “altered” voter registration forms in the Rio Grande Valley that were directed to noncitizen residents. The applications featured pre-printed claims of U.S. citizenship. On Monday, the Texas Secretary of State referred the matter to Attorney General Paxton for further investigation.

Violent Threat Sent To GOP Candidate And His 7 Kids In Closely Watched N.J. Race

Civility will return if the dems regain power.

Via NJ Com:

The campaign for GOP candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional district, Assemblyman Jay Webber, R-Morris, said Wednesday that a threat against him and his seven children was delivered to his office in Whippany yesterday.

A note sent to Webber’s office warned Webber “You better hope you don’t win! Or else.” and then asked, “How many kids do you have…7? Unlucky 7.”

Webber has frequently incorporated his wife Johanna and their seven children into his campaign, featuring them in campaign ads.

The threat, which arrived with a cut up Webber for Congress sign, has been referred to the state police for investigation, according to Ronica Cleary, a spokesperson for the campaign.

The race for New Jersey’s 11th congressional district, which includes Morris and Essex Counties, is hotly contested and closely watched. U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen, R-11, held the seat for decades never winning by less than 19 points, but Hillary Clinton lost the district by a single point in 2016. National Democrats view it as a key district in their goal to gain control of the House of Representatives.

An Oct. 9th poll by Monmouth University has Webber’s rival, Democrat Mikie Sherrill, ahead in the race by four points, 48 percent to 44 percent, but within the margin of error.[…]

The threat arrived by US Mail at Webber’s Whippany law office a day after Webber’s campaign tweeted that his opposition on the political left was “unhinged” and posted a video showing torn up and defaced Webber campaign quotes intercut with renowned Democrats like former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton advocating direct action by voters.

Anthrax terror mailings, NPR, and the Blame Righty crowd: A history lesson

Anthrax terror mailings, NPR, and the Blame Righty crowd: A history lesson

Democrats and CNN executives have wasted no time blaming President Trump, Republicans, and conservative media for the mail bombs or bomb-like devices received this week by high-profile liberals.

There’s no question these are acts of domestic terrorism. But to assume partisan political motivation is to forget several incidents where such assumptions made asses out of the assumers.

Do you remember what happened the aftermath of the 2001 anthrax mailing attacks – which are still unsolved?

Letters laced with anthrax were sent to the NYPost and NBC News a week after 9/11. Two more letters, postmarked October 9, 2001, were sent to Senators Tom Daschle and Pat Leahy with even more refined (“weaponized”) anthrax. Five people died, 22 were infected. Government scientist Steven Hatfill was unjustly defamed as a suspect by the New York Times and others. And National Public Radio recklessly and baselessly implied that the conservative Traditional Values Coalition might be under investigation for targeting Daschle and Leahy.

The NPR story suggested that the conservative Christian group “fit the profile” of groups that might have been responsible for those types of letters and targeted the group because it had complained about Daschle and Leahy’s efforts to remove the phrase “So help me God” from the senatorial oath. Only after public pressure from Christian activists did NPR acknowledge the slanderous story was “inappropriate.” NPR issued a hollow apology and urged critics to “move on.”

Liberal journalists have indeed moved on, refusing to learn their lesson. We have no idea what the motivations of the person or entity behind this week’s latest terror mailings are. Yet, Blame Righty is the knee-jerk impulse and non-stop message of the day by shameless opportunists who never let a crisis go to waste.

HOAX? Former Navy EOD Officer Explains Why ‘Bombs’ Addressed To Democrats Almost Certainly Meant To Be Intercepted

Former Navy explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) officer Tom Sauer authored a viral Twitter thread concerning the potentially explosive packages addressed to prominent Democrats on Wednesday. According to Sauer, it’s extremely likely that the packages were meant to be intercepted and cause political damage, as opposed to actual attempts to harm targets.
