Remington Just Changed the Game, Brings Shotguns Into 21st Century

Even those who are unfamiliar with firearms often know there’s nothing like a good pump-action shotgun for defending hearth and home.

A consistent problem with using shotguns in a tactical scenario, however, is the reload.

It’s possible to get into the habit of an efficient reload, but it takes an enormous amount of time and effort.

There’s nothing wrong with taking time and effort while training with your home defense tool, but Remington’s new magazine-fed shotgun might help you when the last thing you need to be doing is fumbling with shells.

Remington’s new pump-action shotgun variant, the Remington 870 DM, takes Remington shotguns, some of the best on earth, and puts them into the modern era.

TRENDING: Pastor Smacks Trump in Oval Office and Secret Service Absolutely Love It

“It’s the fastest response time of any pump shotgun in history, and the ultimate choice for a home-defense shotgun,” Remington boasts on its website.

“The Model 870 DM features a 6-round 12-gauge magazine, bead sight, black synthetic stock, corn cobb fore-end, (and a) Supercell Recoil pad.”

This is more than just a reload-time upgrade, however.

Need to change from buckshot to birdshot or slugs? Swap the magazine.

The firearm is on the higher end of the home-defense shotgun price spectrum when comparing the firearm to home defense classics like the Mossberg 500 or even some classic 870 models, but many, including this author, would argue the magazine option is worth some extra cash.

Check out this introductory video by Remington:

Put a few of those in the hands of responsible home owners, and I bet criminals would take notice pretty quick.

I’d imagine that there are quite a few firearms enthusiasts will be getting themselves some big-bore Christmas gifts.

Trump Attorney GOES OFF After New Comey Edits Reveal Key Info About Hillary’s Private Server “Completely Removed” From Final Statement (VIDEO)

Trump Attorney GOES OFF After New Comey Edits Reveal Key Info About Hillary’s Private Server “Completely Removed” From Final Statement (VIDEO)

An attorney for President Trump, Jay Sekulow went off after new Comey edits were released by Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee Thursday, revealing Comey made more edits to Hillary’s draft statement.

All of the edits show the FBI was fiercely working to prevent Hillary from being criminally charged, however; Sekulow pointed out that key information about Hillary’s private server was COMPLETELY REMOVED from the final statement.

Jay Sekulow read Comey’s original statement about Hillary’s emails being housed on unsecured servers on his radio show Jay Live Friday. This entire sentence was removed. Not just edited to sound more benign–completely removed from the final statement and Sekulow is mad as hell!

“‘This is especially concerning because all of these emails were housed on servers not supported by full time security staff like those found the departments and agencies in the United States government’–COMPLETELY EDITED OUT of the final statement,” Sekulow said.

This is important because the entire investigation was about Hillary mishandling classified information because she was using private servers.

Now we find out this statement was completely removed from the final draft!

To add to this, another very shocking revelation is that “hostile actors” likely gained access to Hillary Clinton’s private email which of course contained classified information–another statement that was edited by Comey and or top FBI brass.

The corruption in the top brass of the FBI is astounding. Lou Dobbs is right; people need to go to jail!

Angel Families: ‘Before We Worry About’ Illegal Aliens, Let’s ‘Respect Those Killed by No Fault of Their Own’

Angel Families: ‘Before We Worry About’ Illegal Aliens, Let’s ‘Respect Those Killed by No Fault of Their Own’

The families of Americans who have been either hurt or killed by illegal aliens say, “before we worry” about giving amnesty to border-crossers and visa-overstayers, lawmakers should “respect” the victims – “by no fault of their own.” – of illegal alien crime.

In a statement this week, the members of Advocates for Victims of Illegal Alien Crime (AVIAC) — known as “Angel families” — said Americans should take priority over the nearly 800,000 illegal aliens shielded from deportation under the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Action (DACA) program who are lobbying to be given a pathway to U.S. citizenship.

“To legally emigrate to the United States, you must ‘get in line,’” the statement said. “DACA recipients, ‘who came here through no fault of their own’ need to ‘get in line’ and they should be at the back of the line.”

Like pro-American immigration reformers, and President Trump’s administration, the Angel families say they want to see major changes to the illegal and legal immigration system, including the construction of a border wall, deportations of all illegal aliens in the U.S., and an end to birthright citizenship, which gives illegal aliens the ability to permanently stay in the country so long as they have children here.

The AVIAC statement reads:

There were over 211,000 illegal aliens in state jails and prisons and another 41,500 in federal prisons in 2016. We need to make sure the law blocks any state or municipality or any future president from releasing these people back into society. We need to make sure all of those who served time in the past but have already been released into society have been deported before we take any action on “those brought here through no fault of their own.”

Aside from border security we need to change our birthright citizenship policy. We need to make sure that those here now illegally cannot keep having children who automatically become citizens. These children are citizens of their parent’s home countries. Until that policy is reversed, by law, we should we take no action on “those brought here through no fault of their own.”

Likewise, the Angel families say they want to see the process whereby new immigrants to the U.S. can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives with them, known as “chain migration,” completely ended, –as Trump has proposed, as well as the implementation of mandatory E-Verify, the electronic system that prevents businesses and corporations from being able to hire illegal aliens over Americans.

Most importantly, the Angel families say, is remembering the Americans who have lost their lives to immigration and blocking any amnesty until the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) can ensure that future Americans are not at risk of being victimized by illegal aliens and newly-arrived immigrants.

“So, before we worry about those ‘brought here by no fault of their own,’ let’s make sure we respect those killed by no fault of their own,” the AVIAC statement concluded.

Discussions on Capitol Hill surrounding Trump’s pro-American immigration reforms — which include ending chain migration, reducing legal immigration, constructing a border wall, and mandatory E-Verify — have all included a pathway to U.S. citizenship for DACA illegal aliens, despite the plan being a betrayal to Trump’s core base of supporters and victims of illegal immigration.

For example, a Senate immigration package released this month would end chain migration, thus cutting legal immigration levels in half, from more than one million immigrants a year to 500,000 a year, but pairs it with an amnesty for DACA illegal aliens.

Also, a group of business-first Republican establishment senators announced that they plan to meet with Democrats in order to broker a deal for DACA illegal aliens.

As Breitbart News reported, chain migration has imported about 9.3 million foreign nationals to the U.S. between 2005 and 2016. In that same time frame, chain migration imported nearly 120,000 foreign nationals to the U.S. from Iran, Syria, and Sudan, all of which the State Department designates as state sponsors of terrorism.

Chain migration makes up more than 70 percent of all legal immigration — with every two new immigrants bringing seven foreign relatives with them.

Breaking: Jury Sides With Sheriff Joe, Smacks Down Establishment GOP’s Lawsuit

A jury has sided in favor of conservative icon, former Sheriff Joe Arpaio, against the lawsuit filed by Austin Flake, the son of GOP establishment Senator Jeff Flake, and Austin’s ex-wife, Logan Brown.

Flake and Brown had filed a lawsuit against the Arizona sheriff for “malicious prosecution” after over a dozen dogs died on their watch at a Gilbert dog kennel.

The jury decided Flake and Brown had failed to provide sufficient evidence to back up their accusations of malicious prosecution by Arpaio, The Associated Press reported via Tucson.com.

Flake and Brown ran the kennel while Brown’s parents were out of town in 2014, the AP reported.

The two were still in college.

TRENDING: Pastor Smacks Trump in Oval Office and Secret Service Absolutely Love It

Initially, Flake and Brown were charged in the incident, but the charges were dropped at the prosecution’s request. Later, Flake’s in-laws pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges after an expert determined that the facility air conditioner failed because it was not properly maintained.

Thus, the owners of the kennel were responsible for the death of the 21 dogs, and they answered for their crimes.

Nonetheless, Flake and Brown reportedly alleged that Arpaio had charged them to gain publicity and deal damage to Senator Flake — an establishment fixture within the GOP.

The two “contended the charges caused them emotional distress, contributed to the demise of their marriage and led the senator’s son to being suspended from college for an honor-code violation,” according to The Associated Press.

Despite the jury’s decision, the U.S. District Judge Neil V. Wake will not issue a final verdict until the defense explains why it didn’t turn over documents that may have benefited the plaintiffs, according to a statement from the plaintiffs’ attorney to The Associated Press.

“The struggle to hold government officials accountable has always required a steep, perilous climb,” the plaintiffs’ attorney said in a Friday statement according to KNPX.

“Although we disagree with the jury’s verdict, we are grateful we had the opportunity to force former Sheriff Arpaio and his subordinates at Maricopa County to account for their indisputably reckless conduct. Near the end of the trial, we discovered that the County failed to turn over documents that might have helped us prove our case,” he continued.

“The Court has ordered the County to explain its failure and indicated that it will not enter a final judgment in the case until a satisfactory explanation is provided. We will access our future options in this fight when the County complies with the Court’s Order.”

RELATED: Court Gives Bad News to Liberals Upset About Trump’s Twitter Account

Charges that didn’t pan out are an annoyance to those affected — there’s no question of that.

But to claim that those charges — which were dropped — were the reason behind a failed marriage, and that Arpaio needs to pay is completely ridiculous.

The man who investigates sexual harassers in Congress accused of sexual harassment

Omar Ashmawy, staff director and chief counsel of the Office of Congressional Ethics, has been accused in a lawsuit of physically assaulting and abusing a woman in Pennsylvania. The suit stems from a late night altercation in a bar in which Ashmawy was seen sexually harassing a bartender. When his sexual advances were rebuffed, Ashmawy became violent and abusive toward the woman.

Ashmawy, who has been investigating sexual harassment allegations against members of Congress, then used his office to try and influence local officials who were investigating the incident at the bar.

Foreign Policy:

“To be clear, I did not harass anyone that evening, physically or verbally,” he wrote in a statement to FP. “To the contrary, I was the victim of a wholly unprovoked assault for which those responsible were investigated, arrested and charged. Any allegation to the contrary is unequivocally false.”

The lawsuit, previously unreported, stems from Feb. 14, 2015 — Valentine’s Day. The evening appeared to start off well for Ashmawy: a nearly $400 dinner with his girlfriend at an upscale restaurant in Milford, followed by late-night drinks at a local bar.

It ended, however, with him bruised and bloody in the back of a police car.

The lawsuit, filed by one of the men who was involved in the fight, includes witness testimony from eyewitnesses who described Ashmawy’s behavior:

According to the complaint, Martucci on the night of Feb. 14, 2015, witnessed “an extremely violent and belligerent” Ashmawy become verbally abusive toward two women at Milford’s Dimmick Inn, Dawn Jorgenson — the wife of John Jorgenson, the owner of the bar — and Joey Lynn Smith, a bartender there.

Martucci also said he saw Ashmawy physically assaulting Dawn Jorgenson and Christina Floyd, another woman at the bar, a claim echoed in police statements given by the women and reviewed by FP.

According to a three-page statement dated March 12, 2015, Dawn Jorgenson said she witnessed Ashmawy “clearly sexually harassing” the bartender throughout the course of the evening and saw his behavior spiral toward physical violence. “You’ll give me drinks, but you won’t fuck me,” Ashmawy allegedly said to the bartender, according to Dawn Jorgenson’s written statement.

She said she then saw Ashmawy block the bartender with his body and curse at her, and grab her by the wrists. Dawn Jorgenson said when she tried to intervene, Ashmawy turned against her. “He’s holding my wrist so tightly that he falls down to the ground landing to the left of me,” she wrote in her statement.

She said her husband, John Jorgenson, came over to help and pulled Ashmawy away, taking him outside.

In statements given to police, the third woman, Christina Floyd, provided a similar account. “I watched each time Omar would come down and verbally sexually harass the bartender as he ordered drinks,” Floyd wrote in her statement, describing an increasingly angry Ashmawy confronting the bartender.

A real charmer, that one.

Ashmawy also sent a letter to the prosecutor in Pennsylvania demanding that those involved in the altercation be prosecuted. He sent the letter on his official House stationary:

An email reviewed by FP from Ashmawy, using his congressional affiliation, to the police chief and officials at the district attorney’s office accuses them of not handling the case properly.

“As of today it has been over five weeks since I was assaulted. To date, the police department’s investigation is not complete and charges have not been filed. I am deeply concerned,” he wrote in the email, which is signed with his congressional title and work mail address.

Ashmawy cites his injuries, which he said included a facial fracture and a “bruised and bloodied” eye.

In the same email, Ashmawy references his own work conducting investigations, and indicates that if charges aren’t filed the case might attract high-level attention in the capital.

This is a clear case of Ashmawy trying to intimidate local officials using the power of his office.

So who watches the watchdog? Obviously, Ashmawy is unfit to serve in his current capacity. You can’t have someone accused of sexual harassment investigating congressmen accused of the same charge. But the bar incident occurred in 2015 and somehow, Ashmawy’s superiors never got wind of what happened that night. He has been investigating several congressmen, including Rep. John Conyers, who was forced to resign after several accusers came forward. Are those investigations now tainted because of his reported behavior?

The accusatory environment in which these charges of sexual assault are being brought demands investigators above reproach. Ashmawy fails that test and should be fired.

Hundreds of EPA Employees Have Quit Under Trump

Over 700 employees at the Environmental Protection Agency have quit or taken early retirement during the Trump administration so far, bringing the agency close to employment levels not seen since Reagan.

ThinkProgress, whose senior editor is scared of his plumber who he fears may have voted for Trump, is warning that the exodus will lead to "dirtier air" and "dirtier water."

"Since Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt took over the top job at the agency in March, more than 700 employees have either retired, taken voluntary buyouts, or quit, signaling the second-highest exodus of employees from the agency in nearly a decade," the liberal blog reported.

"According to agency documents and federal employment statistics, 770 EPA employees departed the agency between April and December, leaving employment levels close to Reagan-era levels of staffing," ThinkProgress said. "According to the EPA’s contingency shutdown plan for December, the agency currently has 14,449 employees on board—a marked change from the April contingency plan, which showed a staff of 15,219."

After months of crying at their desks over Trump’s election victory, bureaucrats are now "quitting in disgust."

"There has been a drop of employees of 770 between April and December. While several hundred of those are buyouts, the rest of those are either people that are retiring or quitting in disgust," Kyla Bennett, who works for a nonprofit for government environment works, told ThinkProgress. "Is that number higher than it would normally be? I think it is."

ThinkProgress quoted a former Obama EPA official who criticized the shrinking size of the EPA bureaucracy.

"Overall, large numbers of people leaving the EPA in this day and age is terrible," said Judith Enck. "Rolling back enforcement is very troubling—it essentially means that people are going to breathe dirtier air and drink dirtier water."

Career bureaucrats taking voluntary buyouts is helping Pruitt and the Trump administration meet their goal of cutting the EPA workforce by 25 percent.

"We’re proud to report that we’re reducing the size of government, protecting taxpayer dollars, and staying true to our core mission of protecting the environment and American jobs," Pruitt has said.

What if Jeff Sessions is not asleep, but instead playing possum?

Conventional wisdom is that Attorney General Jeff Sessions is asleep at the wheel – from recusing himself unnecessarily from the Trump-Russia collusion investigation to doing nothing about the politicization and weaponization of the Department of Justice.  He also gave free rein to his deputy A.G., Rod Rosenstein, who is in turn allowing Special Counsel Robert Mueller unlimited time, money, and jurisdiction to investigate President Trump’s entire life.

Last summer, Trump expressed disappointment in Sessions, calling him “beleaguered,” wondering why Sessions wasn’t looking into Hillary Clinton’s emails and true election chicanery.  Rudy Giuliani was floated as a possible replacement.  Was Trump truly upset, or was this a calculated head fake?

In a recent blog posting, American Thinker editor Thomas Lifson, referencing Sundance from Conservative Treehouse, made the case that the Department of Justice Office of Inspector General is where the real action is taking place.  Here was an explanation why Rosenstein gave evasive answers in recent congressional testimony and a suggestion that the OIG is laying out a case, slowly and methodically, with selective information release, before bringing the hammer down on the leakers and corruptocrats in the FBI and DOJ.

I want to take this a step farther, perhaps answering the question of where Jeff Sessions is and whether he is asleep, or just playing possum.  Perhaps I can explain why he is acting not as a Trumpian pit bull, but instead like Mister Rogers ready for his afternoon nap.

Jeff Sessions is a political appointee, appointed by President Trump.  The president, as we all know, is despised by Democrats, many establishment Republicans, and the media.  Any actions Trump or Sessions take will be viewed through the lens of obstruction of justice.  Firing Mueller or Rosenstein or shutting down the investigation would allow eager Democrats and NeverTrump Republicans to tut-tut over threats to the Constitution and to initiate impeachment proceedings.

Instead, by lying low, the OIG can carefully build a case.  The OIG is not a political office, but instead “[a] statutorily created independent entity whose mission is to detect and deter waste, fraud, abuse, and misconduct in DOJ programs and personnel.”  Above politics.  Beyond reproach.  As much as any government bureaucracy can be.

Jeff Sessions must keep his hands clean of this entire investigation, letting the OIG present its findings and recommendations.  If I.G. recommends prosecution, A.G. Sessions can follow the OIG recommendations and unleash the cannons on the swamp creatures.  Sure, the media and their Democrat allies will explode with rage, but it will be a politically independent organization making the recommendations, not the Trump administration, whether the president or his A.G.

Despite the left making this entirely political, for Trump to deliver a knockout punch, he has to let Lady Justice swing the axe.  He has to keep politics out of his counterpunch.

Will Rod Rosenstein be fired, as some fake news sources suggest?  Or is he in on the OIG sting operation?  Deliberately staying quiet so events can play out, as Sundance described?

For now, I give A.G. Sessions the benefit of the doubt, that for optical and political reasons, he is lying low.  For the OIG investigation to play out as desired, he has little choice.  With the OIG report due early next year, this may indeed be the calm before the storm.  Thousands of sealed indictments.  Members of Congress retiring or not seeing re-election.  Trump acting happy and confident, whether in speeches or on Twitter.

Further bolstering my theory is that Democrats are getting nervous.  The Mueller circus has made a critical pivot from Trump-Russia collusion to Obama-Clinton-FBI-DOJ collusion.  The Daily Caller reports, “Democrats mobilize against Rod Rosenstein as Inspector General investigation zeroes in on FBI.”  Turn on the light, and the cockroaches scurry.

Trump has been viciously attacked from the day in 2015 when he announced his candidacy.  Like Superman, the bullets have bounced off his chest, wounding many of those who attacked him.  It’s likely that this entire investigation will have the same outcome.

I’m confident that President Trump has this well in hand, early on setting the stage for an upcoming reckoning – what Sundance calls “the big ugly.”

And Jeff Sessions, instead of being asleep, may be playing possum, lying in wait, ready to pounce when the moment is right.

Former US Attorney: Comey Threw Case Against Hillary Clinton – We Are in a Constitutional Crisis (VIDEO)

Former US Attorney: Comey Threw Case Against Hillary Clinton – We Are in a Constitutional Crisis (VIDEO)

This was a stunning interview.

Former US Attorney Joe diGenova appeared on Tucker Carlson on Friday to discuss the ongoing Deep State witch hunt against President Trump.

DiGenova accused the Obama admininstration of conspiring to frame the incoming President of the United States.

Joe diGenova: Inside the FBI and Department of Justice under Obama was a brazen plot to do two things. To exonerate Hillary Clinton because of an animous for Donald Trump, and then if she lost to frame the incoming president for either a criminal act or impeachment. This is one of the most disgusting performances by the senior officials at the FBI and the Department of Justice that everyone of these agents should be fired and the people who are still in the Justice Department be fired including Mr. Ohr and they impanel a federal grand jury to investigate the conduct of McCabe and Strzok and Page and Comey and Ohr and everybody in the Obama Justice Department that even touched this. It’s very clear that they conspired to frame the incoming president of the United States.
