BREAKING: Top DOJ Official Demoted Over Suspicious Contact With Fusion GPS

Leading Justice Department official Bruce G. Ohr has been demoted following an investigation into his suspicious contact with opposition research firm Fusion GPS.

Fox News reports:

A senior Justice Department official was demoted this week amid an ongoing investigation into his contacts with the opposition research firm responsible for the anti-Trump “dossier,” the department confirmed to Fox News.

Until Wednesday morning, Bruce G. Ohr held two titles at DOJ: associate deputy attorney general, a post that placed him four doors down from his boss, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein; and director of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF), a program described by the department as “the centerpiece of the attorney general’s drug strategy.” […]

Initially senior department officials could not provide the reason for Ohr’s demotion, but Fox News has learned that evidence collected by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), chaired by Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., indicates that Ohr met during the 2016 campaign with Christopher Steele, the former British spy who authored the “dossier.” […]

Additionally, House investigators have determined that Ohr met shortly after the election with Glenn Simpson, the founder of Fusion GPS – the opposition research firm that hired Steele to compile the dossier with funds supplied by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

In a statement to Fox News, a Justice Department spokesperson said, “It is unusual for anyone to wear two hats as he has done recently. This person is going to go back to a single focus—director of our organized crime and drug enforcement unit. As you know, combatting transnational criminal organizations and drug trafficking is a top priority for the Attorney General.”

The news comes amid reports Trump-hating FBI agent Peter Strzok played a key role in analyzing the infamous ‘Trump dossier,’ supplied by shady research firm Fusion GPS.

Fox News’ James Rosen also reveals Strzok played a key role in agreeing to pay ex-MI6 agent Christopher Steele $50,000 to find evidence to further support the dossier’s explosive claims. FBI officials were uncomfortable with the validity of Steele’s findings, yet they moved forward with FISA surveillance anyways.

Why Trump’s Jerusalem move is triggering a chain reaction

There’s nothing like a little U.S. leadership. President Trump’s announcement that he was moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem is seeing a heartening chain reaction as other nations follow our lead. Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu says he’s hearing from all kinds of nations now. And the reasons are as much internal to the states following President Trump’s lead as they are supportive of Israel. It seems that to affirm Israel is to affirm oneself.

The Czech Republic wasted no time declaring that it, too, would be moving its capital to Jerusalem. It would make sense, yet it’s a little bit curious. The move has none of the religious overtones that fueled the move in the U.S. The Czechs are one of the most atheistic countries in Europe. But there are other factors: the Czechs surely wanted to throw a sopping mop into the face of its European Union masters who are attempting to foist millions of angry Islamic “refugees” onto the tiny unwilling nation. And it’s possible the Czech leaders, even the lefty they have elected, gets along well with Israel’s Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. But even more likely, the Czechs and Israelis get along very well as peoples, given that both nations, generally speaking, have a lot of brainy people: intellectuals, people of high culture, and entrepreneurs. There may have been domestic political pressures in the Czech declaration that it would move its capital to Jerusalem.

There’s also a wave of sub-Saharan African states, Christian nations, preparing an exodus to Jerusalem. Many of these states are under threat of Islamicization and Islamist terror, of course. But Ethiopia and Israel have had good relations for years, and Ethiopia is deeply Christian. Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania and Angola are all nations worth watching, too. In the case of Africa, there’s a repeating cultural motif of love for Israel and the promised land, too, linked to its generally dynamic Christian culture. To move a nation’s embassy to Jerusalem is to signal a fealty to the Lord, and to express something about what one is as a nation, an identity move. South African folk singer Johnny Clegg has a notable song in his repertoire on Jerusalem, Ethiopia has heritage of attachment to Zion, too. Religious factors are likely to run deep in this region’s move toward Jerusalem.

Lastly, there is talk that the Philippines may move its embassy to Jerusalem. This may have a religious aspect, too. But the personal is not to be dismissed here, it’s probably pretty marked. President Duterte of the Philippines is well known for going it alone and he has a significant contempt for Europe’s polite society. What better way to show that than to follow President Trump on Israel now that the Eurotrash and all its human rights investigators is howling about it? Not being an especially virtuous man himself, he can virtue-signal to the Philippines’ religious people about being aligned to Jerusalem to make up for some of his less justifiable actions internally, while annoying the global elites at the same time.

Another factor, which will have to be investigated, but is likely worth looking at is the impact of the great wave of arrests in Saudi Arabia and the oil bust. Saudi cash from the now-arrested princelings has until recently been spread liberally in the U.S. (the Clinton Foundation sopped it up like a sponge) and throughout the third world. The oil bust and the demise of the patrons and their cash has ended a lot of buying off of nations for Arab grievance causes such as terrorist-infested Palestine. No Saudi money, no reason to follow the old agenda – especially since Saudi Arabia under its new ruler isn’t interested in that agenda, either. Saudi Arabia with its new leadership actually wants to get along with Israel. We can await Saudi Arabia’s move to Jerusalem to really shake things up.

But President Trump’s move to Jerusalem was what opened the floodgates. Seems that going it alone and asserting one’s sovereignty in the name of national interests, not EU and UN diktats or Saudi cash is being recognized by quite a few nations as good for everyone. All it took was President Trump to light the candle. This is wonderful.

Hero Cop From Pulse Nightclub Terror Attack Is Losing His Job And Pension

In a gross miscarriage of justice one of the first police officers to respond to the 2016 terrorist attack at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, will soon lose his job. The officer, Corporal Omar Delgado, has suffered post-traumatic stress disorder since the attack. Despite moving from patrol duty to a desk job, a doctor has concluded that Delgado’s condition renders him unfit to remain on the force. Adding insult to injury, the hero police officer is being fired just months before he would qualify for full pension benefits.

“It’s a small town,” explained Delgado. “Everyone’s family here, and I thought I was going to be treated like family. I didn’t think I was going to be treated this way.” Unfortunately, his town of Eatonville has struggled financially, as the 2,000-member community tries to support a small police department. Rather than receiving 64% of his $38,500 salary and benefits for life, Delgado will have to wait ten years and then only be eligible to receive 42% of his salary.

Florida state lawmakers are considering a bill that would require workers compensation programs to include mental health treatment coverage for first responders with PTSD, but prospects are dim for Delgado. A similar law proposed last year failed even to make it to the floor for a vote. The Eatonville Town Council has offered Delgado $1,200 in accrued sick time, but that payout won’t get the suffering officer very far. Mayor Eddie Cole defended the decision, saying, “This town, as well as me, cares about people. But some pictures are bigger than we all know.”

Angel Colon, a Pulse nightclub attendee whose life Delgado saved by dragging him through the carnage to safety, feels the betrayal personally. “He was my hero,” Colon explains. “He saved my life, and for them to just do what they’re doing to him in front of my face is a slap to my face as well.”

In July, a woman named Kelly Anderson Kutcher set up a GoFundMe page for Officer Delgado to offset the costs associated with his injuries.

John Conyers’ Son Arrested in February, Accused of Stabbing Girlfriend in Domestic Dispute

John Conyers III, the son of embattled Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), had been accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend in a domestic dispute in February, reports say.

The younger Conyers, a Detroit hedge fund manager who had been endorsed by his father to take his place in the House of Representatives, was arrested but not charged for allegedly stabbing and bodyslamming his then-girlfriend during an argument they had in Los Angeles, California, the New York Times reported.

Conyers III told the Times in an interview Wednesday about the encounter as a way to prevent scandal after his father announced his retirement following allegations of sexual harassment.

The younger Conyers said he and his girlfriend got into an argument at 3 a.m. February 15 that turned into a physical fight. Police later arrested him for domestic violence, but the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office dropped the charges.

His girlfriend, who is not identified in court documents, secured a restraining order against Conyers III that remains in effect through March 2018.

Conyers III maintained his innocence in the interview with the Times.

“She says I stabbed her, which makes no sense,” Conyers III, 27, said. “I didn’t do this. She and I had a verbal altercation, and that escalated. She pulled the knife on me. She was chasing me. I tried to take it from her. There was a struggle. I pinned her to the wall. She kept swinging, and she cut herself.”

The girlfriend, however, told a different story to police. She told investigators that her 27-year-old boyfriend at the time became violent after accusing her of cheating on him.

She added that Conyers III “body slammed her on the bed and then on the floor where he pinned her down and spit on her,” according to court documents obtained by the New York Daily News.

After she tried to call the police, Conyers allegedly snatched her phone and chased her into the kitchen. She brandished a knife and yelled at him to leave, but Conyers allegedly snatched the knife from her hands and sliced her arm while swinging the knife at her.

Conyers III had been released $50,000 bond the same day as his arrest, and the district attorney’s office declined to pursue charges, citing a “lack of independent witnesses.”

Although the girlfriend suffered a small stab wound to her lower bicep, prosecutors said they did not have enough evidence to prove that she did not accidentally injure herself.

The elder Conyers announced his retirement from Congress Tuesday and endorsed the younger Conyers to run as his successor.

The longest-serving House member had been hospitalized recently for what staffers say are stress-related health issues.

Conyers announced in November that he would step down from his seat as a ranking member on the House Judiciary Committee as accusations of his sexually harassing employees mounted.

A BuzzFeed News report revealed that Conyers’ congressional office paid a former female staffer $27,000 of taxpayer funds to settle a sexual harassment claim, which prompted the House Ethics Committee to investigate Conyers’ conduct.

Is Masterpiece Cakeshop about free speech or freedom of religion?

The answer to the title question is plainly obvious to nearly everyone I see commenting on the case of Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission. What’s more confusing is that there are three entirely different answers, all of them equally strongly embraced. If you check in on the liberal wing of the audience, the answer is, neither. It’s about discrimination, oppression and homophobia. But on the starboard side of the commentariat aisle there are two camps. One arguing that it’s a religious freedom question and the other calling it free speech.

In the latter camp – at least to some extent – is Marc Thiessen, writing at the Washington Post in a column titled, The Supreme Court must protect a baker’s unpopular speech. Like any good title these days, it doesn’t really tell the entire story of where Thiessen is going, but certainly generates enough of a hot-button response to get people reading, so well done on that score.

In fact, Thiessen gives a nod to both sides when he describes the importance of this case, saying that the outcome will determine whether the government can, “compel a U.S. citizen to violate his conscience and participate in speech with which he fundamentally disagrees and that violates his sincerely held religious beliefs.” But later, he keeps spinning back to the speech issue.

Even if you disagree with Phillips, you have an interest in seeing him prevail. The First Amendment protects unpopular speech. Speaking out in favor of same-sex marriage was once unpopular. And views that are popular today may be unpopular in the future. To maintain a free society, we must have the freedom to disagree — and tolerance for those who disagree with us.

But instead of going to one of dozens of other bakers in the Lakewood, Colo., area who had no religious objections to same-sex marriage, this couple decided to compel Phillips to violate his conscience through the coercive power of government.

Referring to the concept of voicing one’s opposition to gay marriage as not only speech, but unpopular speech to boot, is sure to tweak a few noses. But what we’re really talking about in the case of Jack Phillips (the baker in question) is art. The entire concept of “art” is one which the courts have always winced at and danced around. When does art cross over into something else? When it came to pornography, the best Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart was able to manage was, “I know it when I see it.”

Many of us would likely agree with that sentiment, but much like the meaning of Masterpiece Cakeshop in the grand scheme of things, many of us will “know” something quite different from the next person after we’ve seen it. Baking a cake is a trade. Decorating a cake may be art, but not always. It also could be speech, but not necessarily. If I bake you a cake, frost it and, at your request, write “Happy Birthday” on it, is that speech? Could I refuse to write it if I truly and wholeheartedly wanted you to have an awful birthday?

Phillips didn’t refuse to sell the couple bringing the lawsuit a cake. He refused to decorate it with a particular message. Plaintiffs claim that he needs to not only bake, but decorate a cake however the client requests if he is open for business. That’s a patently false statement of course. No bakery could be forced, for example, to put pornographic images on a cake for you if they objected. But now we’re back to that question of when art ceases being art.

With all that in mind, I don’t believe that Phillips is engaging in “speech” in the constitutional sense when he creates one of his cakes. But what he is being asked to do is participate in a ritual which runs afoul of his religious beliefs. Regular readers know that I reluctantly accept the idea of legalized gay marriage only as an inferior solution to a bigger problem. I object to the idea that the government can “legalize” the private behavior of any individuals participating in such a ceremony as well as the idea that government possesses the power to ban such actions. But if we’re going to have Big Brother regulating every aspect of life then the rules need to be applied evenly all the way around.

Phillips feels that creating and delivering such a case makes him a de facto participant in the wedding… a sentiment I can sympathize with. As such, his religious freedom should entitle him to refuse, particularly when the service the customer is seeking is likely available from any number of other vendors within a stone’s throw. But are the customers attempting to force him to engage in speech? I’m not seeing it.

REPORT: Barack Obama Blocked Deportation of 550,000 Illegal Aliens

REPORT: Barack Obama Blocked Deportation of 550,000 Illegal Aliens

U.S. immigration officials have revealed that their current backlog of deportations is 550,000 after illegal aliens were granted temporary amnesty by former President Obama.

To put it into perspective, the 550K number of deportations facing Immigration and Customs Enforcement is bigger than the populations of Atlanta or Sacramento. Plainly, ICE is being overwhelmed by the sheer scope and size of the work needed to be done.

According to Matthew T. Albence, an executive associate director for enforcement and removal operations, the number of outstanding deportation orders is so high because for “the last four or five years, ICE has been unable to take enforcement against those individuals”. Albence said that under Obama, many deportation actions were delayed starting in 2014. Albence explains:

Our officers had to turn their heads and walk the other way. So that’s a large part of that problem, the fact that we couldn’t enforce the law.

Liberal judges have also protected and forgave illegals – as displayed in recent cases“We need to hold liberal judges accountable,” ICE Director, Thomas Homan, said in a statement. Albence also pointed out that the excessive number of deportation orders is due to nearly 300 sanctuary cities where federal immigration law is not enforced and illegal aliens are protected and unable to be seized by ICE.

Commenting on sanctuary cities, ICE Director Homan said:

There has to be a consequence and a deterrence to illegal activity or the illegal activity won’t stop. We’ve made a lot of headway this year, more than I’ve seen in a long time, and we’ve got to keep going down this road. We’ve got to keep momentum going.

Lots of headway made this year – and more than the ICE Director has seen in a long time… it’s official, folks – Trump means progress!

Six Palestinian Lies About Trump’s Decision to Recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital

President Donald Trump on Wednesday declared that “it is time to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,” calling the move “a long overdue step to advance the peace process.”

In response to the move, the Palestinian Authority and numerous Arab nations have launched a propaganda offensive based on lies and misinformation. Most of the dishonest talking points have not been countered by the news media. Below, in no particular order, are five of those lies that must be called out.

1 – The embassy move does not impact the PA’s ability to create a state.

Contrary to the Palestinian Authority’s propaganda claim that Trump’s move negates their ability to form a Palestinian state with a capital in Jerusalem, the U.S. moving its embassy to the city does no such thing. It is illogical to argue that the presence of a U.S. embassy in Jerusalem impacts the PA’s statehood plans in any way.

The only thing standing in the way of the PA having a state is the Palestinians’ own abject refusal to accept numerous statehood offers while rejecting Israel’s very existence. Indeed, the Palestinian Authority has rejected every single Israeli offer of a state. Those state offers were made at Camp David in 2000, Taba in 2001, the Annapolis Conference in 2007 and more offers were made in 2008. It was recently reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu quietly made another such offer in 2014. Most of the statehood offers included a Palestinian capital in eastern sections of Jerusalem.

In all of these cases, the PA not only refused generous Israeli offers of statehood and bolted negotiations without counteroffers. In some cases, they responded with major escalations of violence, infamously including the murderous Second Palestinian Intifada in 2001.

Far from impeding their statehood claims, Trump’s embassy move might serve to pressure the PA into negotiations, understanding that momentum is moving away from their direction if they don’t act. Of course, if the PA wanted a state living in peace alongside Israel they would not need to be pressured into accepting such a concept given that Israel has always been a willing partner for peace and has already made offers numerous times.

2 – PA warnings about violence are really threats against the U.S.

The PA and numerous Arab countries have been warning that Trump’s Jerusalem decision could lead to an escalation of violence. These “warnings” seem not only to justify a violent reaction but to almost encourage violence in response to Trump’s announcement. The statements serve as implied threats against U.S. interests and should not be tolerated. The warnings only serve to expose the radicalism of those who annunciate such barely veiled threats.

3 – The embassy move will not isolate the U.S.

Israeli Education Minister Naftali Bennett correctly pointed out in a statement emailed to Breitbart News:

On May 15, 1948, the United States, led by President Truman, was the first nation to recognize the newly declared State of Israel. The rest of the world quickly followed. The President did so despite the huge pressures from within.

Today, Trump showed real leadership and I fully expect allies of Israel to eventually follow the president’s example. Already, the speaker of the National Assembly of Tanzania, Job Ndugai, stated of Trump’s decision, “I believe it will be followed suit by several African countries, Tanzania included, to move said quarters from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.”

4 – The Palestinians claim Trump’s sensible and legal decision to recognize Israel’s capital will change facts on the ground. This while hypocritically constructing illegal housing units on Jewish-owned property that have already changed facts on the ground by grabbing land in Jerusalem.

While Trump’s decision does not impede the Palestinians’ statehood bid (see #1 above), the Palestinians have been busy constructing illegally on Jewish-owned property in Jerusalem.

The illegal Palestinian construction has worked to generate facts on the ground, creating de facto Palestinian neighborhoods inside peripheral Jerusalem that are virtual no-go zones for Israeli civilians. The illegal housing has impacted previous Israeli-Palestinian negotiations. Numerous Israeli-Palestinian peace proposals designated these very areas future Palestinian territory due to the large concentrations of Palestinians living in them.

In 2007, this reporter extensively investigated those areas and found Jewish-owned land was utilized to illegally construct Palestinian apartment buildings, a refugee camp and a United Nations school.

reported at the time:

The properties in question include about 270 acres in the northern Jerusalem neighborhoods of Qalandia and Kfar Akev, located near an old Israeli airport, and about 50 acres in a north Jerusalem suburb known as Shoafat, which is adjacent to the Jewish neighborhood of Pisgat Zeev.

The lands were legally purchased on behalf of JNF using Jewish donations in the early 1900s, immediately after the organization was founded in 1901 with the specific charge of repurchasing and developing the land of Israel for Jewish settlement.

A tour of Qalandiya and Kfar Akev found dozens of Arab apartment complexes, a Palestinian refugee camp and a United Nations school for Palestinians constructed on the land.

I also reported in 2009 these de facto Palestinian enclaves in peripheral Jerusalem neighborhoods have become virtual no-go zones for Jewish Israelis due to security concerns. The Jerusalem police confirmed at the time that security arrangements discourage Israeli Jews from entering the neighborhoods. Those security arrangements are still in effect today.

5 – The Al Aqsa Mosque is not threatened by Trump’s Jerusalem announcement.

The Palestinians have been making this ludicrous claim in their protests against the U.S. policy pronouncement.  They don’t explain how an embassy move – in a few years from now, and to an unknown location as of today – threatens the mosque located on the Temple Mount.

The only threat to the Mosque complex are the Palestinians themselves, at least as far as freedom of worship.  Israel allows the Jordanian and Palestinian-controlled Waqf to serve as custodians of the Temple Mount and grants Muslim worshipers access to the Mount 24 hours per day, seven days a week with the exception of rare instances of security threats.

Jewish and Christian visitors, however, are restricted by the Waqf from visiting the Mount except on small tours for about two hours per day. The Waqf does not allow non-Muslims to pray on the Mount or bring holy objects to the site; whereas Muslim prayer is unrestricted. Waqf representatives closely monitor non-Muslim visitors to the site and are known to boot those engaging in prayer.

“Racist” Bannon Headlines Huge Fundraiser for African-Americans, Media Silent

When Breitbart News Executive Chairman Steve Bannon was serving as chief strategist in the White House, Democrats and the mainstream media routinely attacked his character. One of their most popular claims suggested he was a racist.

Of course, those claims were competely unfounded.

In fact, it seems Bannon is far from the racist leftists made him out to be.

For example, Bannon headlined a fundraising lunch for the conservative group Black Americans for a Better Future on Tuesday at the Willard InterContinental Washington hotel in Washington, according to Breitbart News.

“A Business Luncheon with Stephen K. Bannon: A Republican Vision for Minority Business Growth,” was expected to attract approximately 200 black entrepreneurs from across the country.

TRENDING: Boycott: Top Clothing Company Founder Calls Trump, Conservatives Evil

Bannon’s message at the luncheon was one that no speaker who is truly racist would ever be delivering.

“The central part of economic nationalism depends upon you,” Bannon told his audience. “It depends upon us empowering the black and Hispanic entrepreneurial community with one thing: Access to capital.”

Now, that’s the kind of empowerment that actually means something, and it’s a lot different from the government-dependency “empowerment” the Democratic Party touts as it speaks condescendingly to the black community.

Black Americans for a Better Future, founded by Raynard Jackson, strives to be a channel for black businessmen to begin “cultivating a mutually beneficial relationship with our congressional and party leadership at the highest levels.”

In an interview before Bannon spoke at the luncheon, Jackson spoke highly of Bannon and said his knowledge of the black community is impressive.

“Steve’s knowledge of the black community is incredible,” Jackson told Breitbart News.

“If you were Stevie Wonder, being blind, and you could sit and talk with Steve and didn’t know his color, you would swear he’s from the black community because of his understanding of the dynamic, the business and community dynamic,” he said.

“What’s amazing is, I took about 20 blacks and Hispanics to meet with Steve last month, and about one-third of them were Democrats. And every person, without exception, said, ‘I want to work with Steve Bannon,’” Jackson said.

“They heard him unfiltered by the liberal media. They asked him any question they wanted, sitting face-to-face with him for two hours, and not one person said they disagreed with anything he said,” he added.

One of the reasons the media misrepresents Bannon is because they view him as a threat.

Jackson expressed it clearly: “Steve Bannon is the biggest threat I’ve seen to liberalism in decades.”

Jackson added that Bannon has asked members of the black community tough questions, such as what 40 years of liberalism has helped African-Americans achieve besides higher murder rates, higher unemployment and higher teen pregnancy rates — something former President Barack Obama never seemed concerned about.

“Barack Obama did nothing specifically for the black community in his eight years in office,” Jackson said, adding that Obama did “plenty” for the Hispanic and homosexual communities.

You won’t see this story covered by the mainstream media.

In fact, it’s more likely that they will bury it.

Illegal Alien Taunts Family With Horrifying Court Room Statement After Raping Woman

While much of the country’s attention was focused on the astonishing acquittal of Kate Steinle’s killer in San Francisco, another illegal immigrant accused of horrendous crimes was being held accountable for them farther up the coast in Portland, Oregon.

According to the New York Post, a Mexican national with a criminal record and series of prior deportations and re-entries named Sergio Jose Martinez was sentenced to 35 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple counts including assault, burglary, kidnapping, sexual abuse, sodomy, and rape.

He remained incredibly defiant and showed no remorse while receiving his sentence. During the sentencing hearing, throughout which Martinez was repeatedly spotted smirking and smiling, the brother of one of his victims stated: “Sergio, no sentencing is enough. I rather you rot in hell.”

Later, as Martinez was being led out of court, he returned the sentiment to the family and replied, “See all you guys in hell.”

TRENDING: Boycott: Top Clothing Company Founder Calls Trump, Conservatives Evil

According to KOIN, the 31-year-old Martinez was being sentenced for the violent assault of two women in two separate incidents on July 24.

In the first incident, Martinez broke into the home of a 65-year-old woman, assaulted her, forcibly raped her and then stole her cell phone, purse and car.

The victim managed to call the police from a neighbor’s home after her assailant fled. Law enforcement was then able to track the stolen phone and find the stolen car.

However, in the meantime, Martinez had launched another attack on another woman, this time in a parking garage. Despite Martinez having a knife, the woman put up a fight and drew attention from passers-by, which prompted Martinez to try and flee, only to be caught by police shortly afterward.

Martinez’ arrest record dated back to at least 2003, with more than a dozen arrests, and he reportedly served prison time in both Oregon and California over the years.

Incredibly, Martinez had been taken into custody at some point earlier in the year prior to the assaults, but was released by the Multnomah County Sheriffs Office in spite of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer being placed on Martinez — all due to the state’s sanctuary law.

KGW reported that Martinez had been deported by the U.S. government no less than 20 separate times, but had only received at least five probation violations for unauthorized re-entry into the country.

His most recent deportation occurred in November of 2016, and it is unclear when he re-entered the country after that date.

The man’s criminal record included prior convictions of burglary, battery, theft, and obstructing a police officer, and he was known to be an habitual abuser of methamphetamine.

The New York Post noted that the Multnomah County Sheriff seemed to sidestep his role in allowing the crimes in July to occur by virtue of his releasing Martinez, and even seemed to cast blame on the federal government for the illegal alien being in the country in the first place.

“He was released consistent with the orders of the court. No federal or state criminal warrants were present at the time he left our custody,” stated Sheriff Michael Reese, even as he admitted that Martinez “returned to commit additional crimes” after having been previously deported.

“It would help our community to understand how he was held accountable by federal authorities for multiple, illegal re-entries,” Reese added.

Well, sheriff, maybe if you had held onto the guy until ICE came along to pick him up, he might have been held accountable, especially under the current administration, as opposed to the prior collective. Then, two innocent women in your jurisdiction wouldn’t have been assaulted, one of them sexually.

Please share this on Facebook and Twitter so everyone can see the criminal illegal immigrant Portland authorities allowed back onto the streets to commit more crimes, and who will now serve a lengthy sentence behind bars.

College Newspaper Has New Column Where Whites Are Banned

If you think social justice is about making sure everyone is equal regardless of gender, race, or religion, you obviously haven’t stepped onto a college campus in the last few years. University and college campuses are becoming bastions for racist and backward thinking, all under the delusion of “progress.”

Evergreen College in Washington state is one of the worst offenders of the subversion of American culture. White students are often silenced and censored, with one actually being made to stand in the back after trying to express her opinions on the racial divide at the school.

Their latest move is to create a specifically non-white column, with a mission statement of, “A new column we’ve created for people of color (POC) by people of color!”

The POC Talk section of The Cooper Point Journal caters to only non-white students. Instead of making distinctions of who exactly this is for, there is a clear indication that it is for everyone, as long as they’re not white. Black, Asian, Hispanic, or Middle Eastern, it doesn’t matter. There is no cultural pride in cuisine, history, events, or music, but simply another forum for the open bashing of white people.

Believe it of not, they’re actually not the first to exclude certain races from contributing to their publications. The American Nazi Party and the Ku Klux Klan both still publish their own racist periodicals. Replace the phrase “people of color” in POC Talk’s thesis, and you’re left with “A new column we’ve created for whites, by whites!” which could easily be the most popular section of the KKK’s weekly newsletter.

An argument often used by the left boils down to this: “You’re getting mad at our anti-white media, but don’t say anything about the KKK!”

There are two problems with that.

First, the leftist definition of “KKK” and “Nazi” has spread so far that anyone who disagrees with them belongs to one or both of those movements. The second problem is that while a huge slice of the country actually defends liberal racism, no one defends the KKK except for actual members. There’s no need to call them out because everyone accepts that they are racist degenerates.

The same is not often said of casual, anti-white racism.

Any conservative paying attention to current events knows the left has spiraled wildly out of control. The made-up phrase “white privilege” has even been used against white lawmakers in the nation’s capital.

This casual racism simply works to further a liberal agenda by silencing voices that do not agree with the left. Labeling any opposing argument as a symptom of white male privilege, they effectively convince themselves that they don’t have to listen to anything but their own echo chamber.

Thomas Sowell, a famous conservative political philosopher and veteran, said “The next time some academics tell you how important diversity is, ask how many Republicans there are in their sociology department.”

Any expert will tell you, without the checks and balances of free speech and open debate, radicalization happens quickly. An important tenet of being conservative is reverence for the Constitution. We understand that sometimes there are opinions we don’t agree with, and that’s OK. They should not be censored for simply being unpopular or disagreeable.

This history lesson has flown clear over the heads of liberals. Even as they claim to be champions of rights, they are waging wars against our most basic and fundamental freedoms.
