Scientists Compare Warming Projections to 15 Years of Temps, Found Projections Were Wrong

Would it surprise you to know that the change to the climate so strenuously projected by scientists to occur after the year 2000 hasn’t really materialized?

Yeah, me neither.

In a study published Monday in Nature Geosience, a group of scientists confirmed what we already knew — models being used to predict global warming were way wrong.

In fact, as The Daily Caller notes, there hasn’t been very much of a temperature change at all between the years 1998 and 2014, and that models were unable to predict a 15-year “hiatus” on global warming.

“Satellite data showed a more than 20-year ‘hiatus’ in warming,” The Daily Caller writer Michael Batasch remarked.

Michael Grubb, a professor of international energy and climate change at University College London and one of the authors of the study, admitted that his initial projections were, in fact, wrong. “When the facts change, I change my mind, as (John Maynard) Keynes said,” he noted according to The Times.

He probably meant for that to sound intelligent, but basically the man believed what he believed until he was proven to be categorically wrong. That’s hardly praise-worthy.

Myles Allen, professor of geosystem science at the University of Oxford, and another author of the study, said, “We haven’t seen that rapid acceleration in warming after 2000 that we see in the models. We haven’t seen that in the observations,” according to The Times.

They’re not the only scientists reporting the discrepancies between scientific models and reality, either. Another study in Nature Geoscience published May 2017 said the same thing.

“In the early twenty-first century, satellite-derived tropospheric warming trends were generally smaller than trends estimated from a large multi-model ensemble,” the study states in its abstract.

What’s more frustrating is that these reports of climate change models coming up short will be ignored by so many because, thanks to a rigorously “progressive” Democrat agenda, science has been turned into a political battlefield.

A worker for an “immigrants rights” organization has been arrested on charges of “Production of Child Pornography”, 18 USC 2251, in Portland, Oregon. Juan “Carlos” Ramon allegedly used a video based social network app to get minors to send him videos of themselves performing sexual acts. These aren’t 16 or 17 year olds. The initial victims are SIX and EIGHT years old, with more victims suspected. KOIN 6 reports “It’s believed Ramon is currently employed by El Programa Hispano Católico (Catholic Charities) in Gresham. It’s also believed he worked for Metropolitan Family Service’s SUN school program in Gresham.”

Excerpts from the criminal complaint form include:

On or about June 28, 2017, in the District of Oregon, defendant did knowingly use, persuade, induce, and entice a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct as defined in 18 USC 2256, for the purpose of producing a visual depiction of such conduct or transmitting a live visual depiction of such conduct, knowing and having reason to know that such visual depiction would be transported or transmitted using a means or facility of interstate or foreign commerce or in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce.

 

As set forth below, the FBI has been investigating an adult subject who, posing as an adolescent on the Internet website musical.ly using the account name “@lexithetiger”, has solicited, and successfully induced, multiple minor-aged females to (a) generate visual depiction of themselves engages in sexually explicit conduct, and (b) transmit those visual depictions to the subject over the internet. The subject has also transmitted images of minor-aged females engaged in sexually explicit conduct to minor females over musical.ly.

 

As discussed below, the investigation has identified RAMON as the individual who engaged in the foregoing offenses using the musical.ly account “@lexithetiger”.

On June 30, 2017, the Ouachita Parish (Louisiana) Sheriffs Office responded to a residence in Monroe, Louisiana in reference to an investigation. The initial responding patrol deputy made contact with the complainant,. The deputy learned that complainant’s six year old daughter and eight year old niece had been victimized on the internet. According to the complaint, the crimes occurred on or about June 28, 2017 when both juvenile victims were on the internet application (APP) known as Musical.ly. The victims were communicating with an individual that they thought was a young white female using the screen name of @lexithetiger (hereafter “the suspect”). During communication with the unknown suspect, both juvenile victims were manipulated into sending nude images and videos of themselves.

The official form goes into even more explicit detail, including how Ramon coerced another 8 year old to send him a video of her masturbating, and it explains how the FBI traced IP addresses to Ramon. Ramon pretty much admitted to the charges as the agents questioned him at his home in Southeast Portland, with Ramon claiming that he found “grade school to middle school” aged girls to be attractive and told the agents they would, indeed, find child porn on his computer equipment.

Juan Ramon’s suspected place of employment,

El Programa Hispano Católico

, is a catholic charity (intentional lower case) designed to assist “immigrants”. Services include health, housing, education, employment, and legal assistance for “immigrants”.

A portion of their webpage explains:

Today UNICA has close to 20 staff members, family education programs, and Oregon’s only 24-hour bi-lingual and bi-cultural emergency hot-line.

Ramon’s immigration and citizenship status is unknown at this time.

Hillary Clinton’s election loss denial circus enters 2nd year

Everybody remembers this Hillary Clinton classic from a couple weeks before the 2016 presidential election:

That’s right up there with Hillary’s other all-time classics such as “like with a cloth or something” and “of course I believed Bill when he said the reason he was spotted in Vegas with no pants was that he’d generously donated his to a homeless person.”

But Hillary showed this week that she has no intention of applying any statute of limitations to her scapegoating and denial. If you’re keeping a timeline, Clinton’s excuse parade has now entered its second year:

In an interview with Mother Jones in downtown Manhattan, Clinton said Russian meddling in the election “was one of the major contributors to the outcome.” The Russians used “weaponized false information,” she said, in “a very successful disinformation campaign” that “wasn’t just influencing voters—it was determining the outcome.”

Republican efforts to make it harder to vote—through measures such as voter ID laws, shortened early voting periods, and new obstacles to registration—likewise “contributed to the outcome,” Clinton said. These moves received far less attention than Russian interference but arguably had a more demonstrable impact on the election result. According to an MIT study, more than 1 million people did not vote in 2016 because they encountered problems registering or at the polls. Clinton lost the election by a total of 78,000 votes in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Here’s my favorite part of the interview: Why did she lose Wisconsin? Why, GOP voter suppression efforts of course:

“In a couple of places, most notably Wisconsin, I think it had a dramatic impact on the outcome,” Clinton said of voter suppression.

The GOP’s alleged voter suppression efforts were so successful they prevented Hillary from even entering the state to campaign!

The Navy apologized on Friday and said it has grounded an aircrew from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington, after its pilots drew a giant penis in the sky with jet exhaust on Thursday.

“The actions of this aircrew were wholly unacceptable and antithetical to Navy core values,” the Navy said in a statement. “We have grounded the aircrew and are conducting a thorough investigation—and we will hold those responsible accountable for their actions. The Navy apologizes for this irresponsible and immature act.”

“The Navy apologizes to anyone who was offended by this unacceptable action,” it added. “An investigation into this flight will be conducted and if appropriate, the aviator(s) responsible will be held accountable.”

On Thursday, pictures surfaced on social media of a penis drawn in the sky, prompting mostly amusement:

The Navy later acknowledged that an aircrew from Whidbey Island flew an F/A-18 Growler, which was assigned to Electronic Attack Squadron 130, in “an air pattern” over Okanogan County, Washington, that “left a condensed air trail resembling an obscene image to observers on the ground.”

“The Officers and Sailors of the United States Navy are professionals, held to the highest standards, while serving our nation with pride around world,” the Navy said.

The commander of U.S. Naval Air Forces also issued a statement on Friday.

“The American people rightfully expect that those who wear the Wings of Gold exhibit a level of maturity commensurate with the missions and aircraft with which they’ve been entrusted. Naval aviation continually strives to foster an environment of dignity and respect. Sophomoric and immature antics of a sexual nature have no place in Naval aviation today. We will investigate this incident to get all the facts and act accordingly,” Vice Adm. Mike Shoemaker said.

“This event clearly stands in stark contrast to the way our aviators and Sailors are performing with utmost professionalism, discipline and excellence from our carrier flight decks and expeditionary airfields around the world today,” he said.

CNN Political Reporter Rebecca Berg reported that Roy Moore’s campaign chairman told them the campaign’s fundraising has “skyrocketed” since the allegations against Moore broke and a source close to the campaign says they’ve raised more money in the last six days than they’ve raised online since the runoff in September.

Berg said, “He’s been cut off by the NRSC and the Republican National Committee. But his campaign, its online grassroots fundraising, his Campaign Chairman Bill Armistead tells CNN has skyrocketed since these allegations since the national spotlight has shifted to their campaign. They have seen, according to a source close to the campaign, not Armistead, fundraising topping six figures on several days in a row. Armistead says that they have raised more in the last six days online than the total raised online since the runoff, September 26th. So, they are getting some gangbusters fundraising now.”

Country Singer Releases ‘Take A Knee, My Ass’ To Counter NFL National Anthem Protests

Well played.

Country music singer Neal McCoy takes a jab at former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and others who protested the national anthem by taking a knee in his newest single he debuted last week.

The song, “Take a Knee, My Ass (I Won’t Take a Knee),” was performed in front of a small audience on Oct. 8th and shared online as a Facebook Live video, which has since gone viral.

“When I see someone on TV take their stand by bending their knee, whether it be on astro turf or grass,” the lyrics say. “I think of those whose freedom was not free, and I say: ‘Take a knee – my ass!’”

The song, which McCoy notes was written by a friend of his, cites the armed forces as a reason why he proudly stands for the national anthem.

“I’ve been on 15 USO tours,” McCoy explained to reporters. “I’ve entertained our troops in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, and all over the world.”

PHOTO Emerges of Creepy Al Franken Planting a Wet Kiss on Leeann Tweeden

On Thursday Senator Al Franken was accused of groping, unwanted kissing by radio anchor and model Leeann Tweeden.

Franken couldn’t deny it.
There was photo evidence.

Radio anchor Leeann Tweeden traveled with Al Franken on a USO tour in December 2006.
Tweeden described the abuse:

Franken had written some skits for the show and brought props and costumes to go along with them. Like many USO shows before and since, the skits were full of sexual innuendo geared toward a young, male audience.

As a TV host and sports broadcaster, as well as a model familiar to the audience from the covers of FHM, Maxim and Playboy, I was only expecting to emcee and introduce the acts, but Franken said he had written a part for me that he thought would be funny, and I agreed to play along.

When I saw the script, Franken had written a moment when his character comes at me for a ‘kiss’. I suspected what he was after, but I figured I could turn my head at the last minute, or put my hand over his mouth, to get more laughs from the crowd.

On the day of the show Franken and I were alone backstage going over our lines one last time. He said to me, “We need to rehearse the kiss.” I laughed and ignored him. Then he said it again. I said something like, ‘Relax Al, this isn’t SNL…we don’t need to rehearse the kiss.’

He continued to insist, and I was beginning to get uncomfortable.

He repeated that actors really need to rehearse everything and that we must practice the kiss. I said ‘OK’ so he would stop badgering me. We did the line leading up to the kiss and then he came at me, put his hand on the back of my head, mashed his lips against mine and aggressively stuck his tongue in my mouth.

I immediately pushed him away with both of my hands against his chest and told him if he ever did that to me again I wouldn’t be so nice about it the next time.

Now there are photos of Franken with Leeann Tweeden from their USO tour.

And there’s even a photo now of Al Franken planting a big kiss on Leeann Tweeden’s lips.

Conservative heavyweight Sean Hannity tweeted a warning to his millions of Twitter followers Friday evening and Twitter exploded.

Hannity tweeted, “Tick tock….. From now into next year on many fronts!!!! Monday starts what will become an avalanche. Love to all deplorables. Tick tock!!”

The Uranium One scandal is heating up. AG Sessions is under pressure to appoint a special counsel to investigate the case. The informant will testify next week before Congress.

As previously reported, investigative reporter John Solomon told Sean Hannity on Thursday the FBI informant has video of briefcases full of money in the bribery of case on Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton is actually showing she is afraid for the first time. In a Mother Jones interview earlier this week she lashed out at the Trump administration over the possibility of a special counsel investigating Uranium One.

John Podesta is also in panic mode. He lashed out on his Twitter account and in an op-ed for the Washington Post claiming any investigation into Crooked Hillary et al is an abuse of power.

Twitter was set ablaze with excited Trump supporters.
