Reminder: Trump Was Asked About Bill Clinton in 2015 – First Thing he Brought Up Was Bill’s Problems with Jeff Epstein

Bill Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein

Florida billionaire Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in early July  in New York for sex trafficking of minors, reported The Daily Beast.

Epstein faced federal sex trafficking charges.
He committed suicide a week ago.

It wasn’t that long ago that Donald Trump told Sean Hannity that this would happen.

Sean Hannity: Uh, Bill Clinton?

Donald Trump: Nice guy. Got a lot of problems coming up in my opinion with the famous island with Jeffrey Epstein. Lot of problems.

Not Too Bright… Geraldo Rivera: Israel Is Occupying Force in Palestinian Land

Democrats were OUTRAGED this week that Israel would not allow anti-Semitic lawmakers Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib into their country to protest Jews.

Rashida Tlaib was later granted permission to visit her grandmother but declined the invitation.

On Sunday Geraldo Rivera decided it was a good idea to jump into this discussion with both feet.
Boy, did he!

Geraldo accused Israel of being an occupying force in Palestinian land.

Geraldo’s post has gone viral.
The reaction is generally negative.

Report: Billionaire Kochs Peddled Job-Killing Free Trade Agenda to Democrats

The pro-mass immigration Koch brothers, mega-donors to the GOP establishment, helped market endless free trade policies to Democrat politicians, a new book details.

A report by the Intercept outlines a recently released book titled Kochland by Christopher Leonard where the author alleges that brothers Charles and David Koch funded a 2007 report by the left-wing Third Way organization to warn Democrat politicians against the populist, economic nationalist arguments made by Lou Dobbs at the time.

The Intercept’s Ryan Grim and Andrew Perez report:

While Third Way’s report did not note any funding from Koch Industries or any related companies or organizations, it did offer thanks to Rob Hall, then a lobbyist for Koch Industries’ Invista division, “for his support in helping us conceive of and design Third Way’s trade project,” adding credence to Leonard’s claim that the Kochs were behind the effort. Hall was previously a Koch executive. The report also added: “The authors offer their sincerest thanks to Third Way’s Board of Trustees for their continuing intellectual support of Third Way and in particular for providing several of the key initial insights on which this paper is built.” Third Way’s board of trustees is a who’s who of Wall Street and corporate elites. [Emphasis added]

The paper argues that “neopopulists” like Dobbs were on the rise because Americans didn’t have faith in arguments made by free traders. Polls showed that people believed that “open trade,” as Third Way dubbed it, cost jobs, only benefited major corporations, made the U.S. weaker globally, and that trade barriers and tariffs were good policies that protected jobs. The argument on behalf of free trade, the report said, hadn’t taken into account the struggles of the middle class. “Our policies” — in favor of free trade — “do nothing to restore middle-class confidence in the future,” the report noted correctly. “Middle-class economic anxiety is widespread and legitimate. And fairly or not, much of the blame for this anxiety is landing squarely on trade.” [Emphasis added]

Though aligned for the last few decades with Republican lawmakers, the Kochs were major supporters of the economic policies of the Obama administration which sought to enter the U.S. into the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) which would have made it easier for multinational corporations to outsource additional American jobs to Vietnam and Malaysia.

American workers under TPP would have been forced to compete against workers in Vietnam and Malaysia — workforces that in some cases earn less than 60 cents an hour — thus forcing down U.S. wages.

In that effort, the Koch network spent up to $40 million lobbying for TPP before President Donald Trump took office on his economic nationalist platform and kept his promise in 2017 to kill the free trade deal with an executive order.

Most recently, the Koch network has committed to financially backing politicians, of either party, in upcoming 2020 elections who support their agenda of free trade-at-all-costs and amnesty for illegal aliens, as Breitbart News reported.

The free trade agenda has taken a stronghold on the Democrat Party in the 2020 Democrat presidential primary. A June poll by Civiqs/Daily Kos found that while Republican voters are overwhelmingly supportive of tariffs on foreign imports to protect American industries, 80 percent of Democrat voters took the pro-free trade position, calling tariffs “bad” for the economy.

This pro-free trade Democrat sentiment has been reflected in the 2020 Democrat presidential primary where candidates such former Vice President Joe Biden have defended the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) which helped eliminate about five million manufacturing jobs and shutter 70,000 U.S. manufacturing plants.

Likewise, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) has railed against Trump’s tariffs on China, using the false claim often deployed by free traders that tariffs are taxes on American consumers when in actuality, tariffs are fees placed on corporations which manufacture their products abroad instead of in the U.S.

Bernie Wants to End Cash Bail: ‘Hundreds of Thousands’ in Jail ‘Convicted of Nothing’

Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) shared his ideas for criminal justice reform on Sunday, calling for the end to cash bail and claiming that “hundreds of thousands” of people are in U.S. prisons “convicted of nothing.”

Sanders was one of the candidates who spoke at the Young Leaders Conference in Atlanta this weekend and National Public Radio (NPR) asked what he said to “thousands of black millennials.”

“You’d end cash bail,” Weekend Edition host Lulu Garcia-Navarro said in the interview.

Sanders said the criminal justice system is “deeply, deeply, deeply broken” and that the United States spends $80 billion a year to “lock-up over two million Americans” and that prevention rather than punishment should be the priority.

And he said “hundreds of thousands” of people are behind bars because they are poor.

“We have an insane system, which I think not many people are aware of, that, Lulu, today, 20 percent of the people who are in jail at this moment, their crime is they are poor,” Sanders said. “They have been convicted of nothing. They are in jail because they cannot afford cash bail.”

“And I think people are listening to this, like, that can’t be true. Do you mean that we have hundreds of thousands of people in jail right now who have been convicted of nothing?” Sanders said. “Yes, that’s right, convicted of nothing. But they cannot afford the … five hundred dollars or the $1,000 they need for cash bail.”

Garcia-Navarro asked about his plan to pull federal funding from states that won’t end cash bail policies.

“That’s a pretty big stick to use, isn’t it?” Garcia-Navarro asked.

“Well, I think you’re dealing with a very big problem,” Sanders said. “It is hard to imagine that, in the year 2019, we are back in Charles Dickens’ era of debtor prisons. Hundreds of thousands of people in jail right now – why? Because they can’t afford bail; they are poor.”

But data from the federal Bureau of Justice Statistics shows some facts differ from Sanders’ claims in the NPR interview.

A press release from a report released in April 2019 states:

The U.S. prison population was 1.5 million prisoners at year-end 2017, and the population of jail inmates in the U.S. was 745,000 at midyear 2017. There were 1.3 million prisoners under state jurisdiction and 183,000 under federal jurisdiction. From the end of 2016 to the end of 2017, the number of prisoners under federal jurisdiction declined by 6,100 (down 3 percent), while the number of prisoners under state jurisdiction fell by 12,600 (down 1 percent).

The report also states that incarceration rates in the United States are down:

From 2007 to 2017, incarceration rates in both prisons and jails decreased by more than 10%, according to reports released today by the Bureau of Justice Statistics. Over a decade, the incarceration rate among state and federal prisoners sentenced to more than a year dropped by 13 percent, from 506 prisoners per 100,000 U.S. residents in 2007 to 440 prisoners per 100,000 in 2017. The prison incarceration rate also dropped 2.1 percent from 2016 to 2017, bringing it to the lowest level since 1997.

The jail incarceration rate decreased by 12 percent from 2007 to 2017, from 259 to 229 jail inmates per 100,000 U.S. residents, but did not decline from 2016 to 2017.

The report also reveals that the majority of prisoners are behind bars because of violent crimes:

Among state prisoners sentenced to more than one year, more than half (55 percent) were serving a sentence for a violent offense at year-end 2016, the most recent year for which state data are available.

An estimated 60 percent of blacks and Hispanics in state prisons were serving a sentence for a violent offense, compared to 48 percent of whites. At the end of fiscal year 2017, nearly half of all federal prisoners were serving a sentence for drug trafficking.

Garcia-Navarro also asked Sanders if he regretted voting in favor of the 1994 legislation that is blamed for increased incarceration, saying at the time it was a “good compromise.”

Sanders said he knew it was a “bad bill,” but because it included a ban on assault weapons he voted for it.

“What I said is that – on the floor of the House when I voted for that, I knew it was a bad bill, but I made a promise to the people of the state of Vermont that I would vote to ban assault weapons,” Sanders said. “I ran for the United States Congress on that.”

“And it would have been totally hypocritical of me to suddenly not vote for that legislation as bad as it was,” Sanders said.

Report: Illegal Workers Flee Georgia Food Plants After Mississippi ICE Raids

Illegal workers fled a number of Georgia food processing plants this past week after highly-publicized raids by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency at five Mississippi plants.

This month, ICE agents conducted the largest workplace raid in more than a decade across five food processing plants in Mississippi, netting the arrests of 680 illegal aliens. That same day, though, ICE officials said they released about 300 of the illegal workers back into the U.S. on “humanitarian grounds.” More than 200 of the illegal workers had prior criminal records and a federal criminal investigation is expected to result in convictions of the employers at the plants. The raids have already resulted in job fairs at some of the plants seeking to hire locals.

Those ICE raids, according to reports compiled by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC), spurred illegal workers in Hall County, Georgia — where numerous food processing plants are located — to flee their jobs in fear that they could be arrested for illegally working in the country.

Jerry Gonzalez with the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials told AJC that food processing plant workers fleeing their jobs following the Mississippi ICE raids proved that employers were illegally hiring illegal aliens:

Thursday’s walk-out is evidence of the presence of undocumented workers in those plants, Gonzalez said. “Without a doubt there are undocumented workers in Georgia’s agriculture industry. Even if they use E-Verify – the plants in Mississippi used E-Verify. That doesn’t mean they’re not using undocumented workers,” he said. [Emphasis added]

Though it is unclear which food processing plants in Hall County saw their illegal workers flee following the ICE raids in Mississippi, the region is home to plants such as Koch Foods of Gainsville, Victory Foods, Koch Meat Inc., and Cargill Inc.

A map of Hall County, Georgia details the numerous food processing plants in the region. Local officials have said that there is no doubt that the state’s food processing industry hires illegal workers. (Screenshot via Google Maps)

The Mississippi-based plant for Koch Foods was one of the five plants raided by ICE. The plant is not associated with the billionaire Koch brothers. Federal affidavits allege that Koch Foods has a long history of exploiting and hiring illegal workers.

As Breitbart News reported, only 11 employers and no businesses have been federally prosecuted for hiring illegal aliens in the last year despite there being nearly eight million illegal alien workers holding American jobs at companies in the U.S.

Illinois Democrat State Lawmaker Simulates Assassination Attempt of President Trump in Political Fundraiser

This is the left.

A political fundraiser for a Democrat state lawmaker in Illinois simulated an assassination attempt of a ‘mock’ Donald Trump.

Attendees to Illinois State Senator Martin Sandoval’s political fundraiser were able to carry out their Trump assassination porn fantasies this week.

“A political fundraiser for Senator Sandoval simulates an assassination attempt against a mock Donald Trump decked out in Mexican garb. Looks like a man pointed a fake assault weapon at the fake President to pose for a picture,” WCIA3 reporter, Mark Maxwell said in a Twitter post.

Sandoval later ‘apologized’ after outcry from social media users.

Social media users tagged Secret Service to alert them to what they perceived as a threat to President Trump.

“The incident that took place is unacceptable. I don’t condone violence toward the President or anyone else. I apologize that something like this happened at my event,” Sandoval said.

HUGE!… MUELLER TEAM LIED! Attorney for Joseph Mifsud Confirms He is Western Intelligence Operative — And NOT a Russian Operative (VIDEO)

Investigative reporter John Solomon from The Hill joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures this morning.

The two discussed John Solomon’s latest interview with CIA operative Joseph Mifsud’s attorneys.

According to Mr. Mifsud’s attorneys their client was working for the CIA and was NOT a Russian operative as reported by the Mueller witch hunt team of liars.

Maria Bartiromo: We know that there were informants thrown at certain Trump campaign people, like George Papadopoulos. George Papadopoulos was on this show and he told me directly on this show that Mifsud was the guy they wanted him to meet in Italy… That is the individual who told him that Russia has emails on Hillary Clinton. Why is that important, John?

John Solomon: Well, I interviewed Mr. Mifsud’s lawyer the other day, Stefan Rowe, and he told me and also provided me some deposition evidence to both Congress and myself that his client was being directed and long worked with Western intelligence. And he was being directed specifically, he was asked to connect George Papadopoulos to Russia, meaning it was an operation, some form of intelligence operation. That was the lawyer’s own words for this. If that’s the case that means the flash point the started the whole investigation was in fact manufactured from the beginning.

This is a HUGE development. ROBERT MUELLER and his band of angry Democrats lied in their final report on operative Joseph Mifsud.

Mifsud was NOT a Russian operative as the Mueller report claimed he was.
Mifsud worked for Western intelligence — and now his attorney has confirmed this!

This Group Is Educating Young Americans About the Ills of Socialism

President Donald Trump has repeatedly promised, “America will never be a socialist country.”

Since Franklin Roosevelt began expanding government in the 1930s, the United States has increasingly adopted big-state policies associated with socialism.

We may not be at the stage Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., would advocate, but more millennials appear to favor a system under which they have never lived. Free stuff is appealing until one realizes its costs.

In an attempt to reach Generation Z—those in their teens and 20s—a new organization is starting this month to combat socialism’s appeal.

It’s called Young Americans Against Socialism (yaas.org), according to its site, a nonpartisan nonprofit “dedicated to exposing socialism’s failures to young Americans by creating viral educational videos for social media.”

Its founder, Morgan Zegers, worries that “more than half of young people believe socialism should be implemented in America.” The reason, she says, is because many of them know little about it.

Her campaign will be largely on social media where she notes young people spend hours every day.

“YAAS is taking the left’s tactics of injecting emotion into everything,” she says, “and throwing it right back in their faces.”

One YAAS video includes statements by two men. One, Raydel Armas, says he escaped Cuba by “windsurfing for 10 hours.” The other, Daniel Di Martino, a Venezuelan, challenges Sanders’ promotion of socialism.

Sanders is shown in a video from the ’70s in which he calls food lines in some countries “a good thing,” presumably referring to non-socialist countries. “The rich,” he claims, “get the food and the poor starve to death.”

Di Martino responds, “It wasn’t that I was rich; it was because politicians like him destroyed my country.”

Armas suggests young people who wear Che Guevara T-shirts are ignorant of history and of the number of people Guevara killed during and after the Cuban revolution.

Surveys back him up.

In a 2017 opinion column for The New York Post, Karol Markowicz cited a 2014 report by the National Assessment of Educational Progress that showed “an abysmal 18 percent of American high school kids were proficient in U.S. history. When colleges such as Stanford decline to require Western Civilization classes or high schools propose changing their curriculum so that history is taught only from 1877 onward … it’s merely a blip in our news cycle.”

Markowicz also noted a 2012 story in Perspectives on History magazine by University of North Carolina professor Bruce VanSledright, who found that “88% of elementary school teachers considered teaching history a low priority.”

While the reasons are varied, she says, “VanSledright
found that teachers didn’t focus on history because students aren’t tested on
it at the state level. Why teach something you can’t test?”

When history is taught, especially at many liberal universities, there is often a bias against America because of slavery and the “invasion” of white Europeans who killed and displaced Native Americans.

Markowicz concluded, “We talk often about how fractured our country has become. That our division increases while school kids are taught less and less about our shared history should come as no surprise.”

In her video, Zegers says, “Capitalism has lifted more
people out of poverty than any other economic system.” Even China, though
still officially communist and socialist, has had to adopt more of the
principles characteristic of capitalism to lift large numbers of people from
poverty.

Socialism has long needed pushback in America from those opposed to it. Trump has begun pointing out how harmful it is elsewhere.

Zegers hopes to target young Americans with testimonies from people who have lived under the reality of socialism.
