Violent Leftist Thug Attacks Trump Supporters at Protest — Spits in Woman’s Face – Is Quickly Arrested (VIDEO)

On Sunday a group of Trump supporters held a rally in California.

During the protest an unhinged anti-Trumper attacked the group.

The thug screamed, pushed, cursed at and bullied the Trump supporters.

Then he spit on a female Trump supporter… in the face!

Via That’s the Point with Brandon.

The good news is… The thug got arrested.

And at one point one of the attackers tried to steal a skateboard and US flag from the Trump supporters.
The attacker was not able to get away with his crime. He got whacked instead.

Brandon told The Gateway Pundit — “It was a pro-Trump rally at the Federal Building in Los Angeles. At first it was just a pro-Trump rally. Counter-protesters from Antifa were there earlier in the day and they were overtaken by MAGA supporters with no violence. Then later after Antifa left the area this guy parked his car and got out and started threatening people as the video shows.

Judge rejects House Democrats’ attempt to block border wall spending

In April, House Democrats sued the Trump administration claiming the President was violating Congress’ constitutional authority to appropriate funds by re-allocating money for his border wall. Today, a federal judge rejected that claim:

A federal judge in Washington on Monday denied a request by House Democrats to block President Donald Trump from transferring funds from appropriated accounts to construct his wall.

Judge Trevor McFadden said the House lacks standing to bring the challenge and also he does not believe the court should step into the fight between the President and Congress.

“The Court declines to take sides in this fight between the House and the President,” McFadden wrote.

Fox News reports that Judge McFadden found Congress had other means to address Trump’s spending if it was so inclined:

McFadden noted in particular that Democrats retained the power to modify or even repeal the appropriations law if they wanted to “exempt future appropriations” from the Trump administration’s reach…

“Congress has several political arrows in its quiver to counter perceived threats to its sphere of power,” McFadden wrote. “These tools show that this lawsuit is not a last resort for the House. And this fact is also exemplified by the many other cases across the country challenging the administration’s planned construction of the border wall.”

McFadden continued: “The House retains the institutional tools necessary to remedy any harm caused to this power by the Administration’s actions. Its Members can, with a two-thirds majority, override the President’s veto of the resolution voiding the National Emergency Declaration. They did not. It can amend appropriations laws to expressly restrict the transfer or spending of funds for a border wall under Sections 284 and 2808. Indeed, it appears to be doing so.”

Back in February, President Trump issued an emergency declaration on the border and announced his intent to redirect money that had already been appropriated by Congress toward the construction of the wall. Democrats, with some help from Republicans, passed a bill aimed at blocking President Trump from spending the money in March. President Trump vetoed the bill the day after it passed the Senate. It was the first veto of his presidency. With that effort having failed, Democrats sued the administration.

Judge McFadden himself expected the case would be appealed regardless of what decision he reached. “I’m not sure how much necessarily our views will carry the day for the courts above us,” he said at a hearing last month.

3 Things to Know About a Disaster Spending Bill Conservatives Couldn’t Stop

A  $19.1 billion disaster aid bill that faced significant opposition from conservative Republicans passed the House on Monday evening by a lopsided vote of 354-58.

Only Republicans voted against the measure, which includes funding in the aftermath of hurricanes, wildfires, and other storms as well as money to help Puerto Rico rebuild from hurricane damage in 2017.

President Donald Trump is expected to sign the spending bill.

Here are three things to know about the bill, which amounts to more than four times what Trump previously requested to construct a wall or other barriers at the southern border.

1. Conservatives Stalled It

Three conservative Republicans—Chip Roy of Texas, then Thomas Massie of Kentucky, and finally John Rose of Tennessee—last week blocked the spending bill three separate times.

“If the speaker of this House thought that this was must-pass legislation, the speaker … should have called a vote on this bill before sending every member of Congress on recess for 10 days,” Massiesaid of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi when he blocked the measure Tuesday.

The Senate already had passed the spending bill. Since the House was on recess last week, a single lawmaker could object to prevent passage by unanimous consent rather than a recorded vote.

“You can’t have bills passed in Congress with nobody voting on them,” Massie said. “That is the definition of the swamp, and that’s what people resent about this place.”

The move by the three Republicans was met with criticism from some in their own party as well as Democrats, with Rep. Sanford Bishop, D-Ga., saying that “many will not be able to plant this year” if the disaster aid package did not go through.

Roy had objected to the bill last Monday, blocking passage, as had Rose on Thursday.

Roy said on Twitter: “Congress should not attempt to pass major spending bills when members of Congress aren’t even in Washington, D.C., to debate and vote on said bills, especially when that bill provides no funding to address the humanitarian crisis on our border.”

2. Unrelated Funding

The disaster relief measure also contains elements that are completely unrelated.

The bill includes funding for block grants sponsored by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Justin Bogie, a senior policy analyst in fiscal affairs at The Heritage Foundation, told The Daily Signal in an email that

“Something that we have consistently been critical of in these bills is funding for the Community Development Block Grant,” Bogie, who works in Heritage’s Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget, said.

“This bill has another $2.4 billion for it,” he said. ”We have called for this grant to be eliminated in [Heritage’s] “Blueprint for Balance,” as it is poorly targeted and there is little evidence that it is effective.”

“Payouts from these grants have also been notoriously slow, meaning that it’s hard to make the argument they are appropriate ‘emergency’ response,” Bogie said..

In a radio interview published Saturday on “Larry Glover Live,” Massie said the bill was reckless spending.

“This is not a trivial bill, this is unbudgeted, this is nowhere in the budget,” Massie said. “I think any time Congress spends any amount of money, certainly more than let’s say a million dollars, there should be a recorded vote.”

3. No Wall Funding

The legislation does not include funding for a wall or other barrier along portions of the southern border, which Trump has requested for months.

Senate Appropriations Chairman Richard Shelby, R-Ala., said that wall funding was not a top priority for the legislation.

“The president said OK,” Shelby said, according to NPR. “I’m sure he wanted the border [wall funding] but we took that all out and we’re going to try to push that separately.”

These Are the Hollywood Studios Threatening to Boycott Georgia Over Pro-Life Law

A growing number of Hollywood studios said they will consider no longer conducting their filming business in Georgia should the heartbeat law take effect in 2020.

The film industry adds about $9.5 billion to Georgia’s economy, but a variety of Hollywood studios said the heartbeat law violates Roe v. Wade and that they are considering taking their filming elsewhere, NBC News reported.

dailycallerlogo

Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signed a fetal heartbeat bill in May that is set to go into effect Jan. 1, 2020, banning most abortions in Georgia after a heartbeat is detected. The bill makes exceptions in cases of rape and incest with a police report, and when the mother’s health is at risk.

Hollywood studios are threatening to withhold their business, noting they are each monitoring the situation and will pay attention to their actors’ and production teams’ wishes.

Netflix said the Georgia ban would make the company rethink its investment in Georgia.

“We have many women working on productions in Georgia, whose rights, along with millions of others, will be severely restricted by this law,” said Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos. “It’s why we will work with the ACLU and others to fight it in court. Given the legislation has not yet been implemented, we’ll continue to film there — while also supporting partners and artists who choose not to.

Disney CEO Bob Iger said he doesn’t see how it is practical for Disney to continue shooting in Georgia if the law goes into effect, adding that the law would make it “very difficult” for Disney to keep filming there.

“I rather doubt we will,” Iger told Reuters. “I think many people who work for us will not want to work there, and we will have to heed their wishes in that regard. Right now we are watching it very carefully.”

Though the company is vocal about boycotting Georgia, Disney profits from doing business in China, a notorious human rights violator that has undertaken mass detentions of Uighur Muslims, placing them in internment camps.

Disney also filmed movies in Middle Eastern countries with stricter abortion laws than the Georgia bill, including Jordan and the United Arab Emirates.A

NBC Universal said it expects the bill will meet serious challenges.

“We fully expect that the heartbeat bills and similar laws in various states will face serious legal challenges and will not go into effect while the process proceeds in court,” NBC stated. “If any of these laws are upheld, it would strongly impact our decision-making on where we produce our content in the future.”

Warner Media said the company respects due process, adding that it often works in countries that might not hold stances Warner Media agrees with.

“We operate and produce work in many states and within several countries at any given time and while that doesn’t mean we agree with every position taken by a state or a country and their leaders, we do respect due process,” Warner Media said in a statement.

“We will watch the situation closely and if the new law holds we will reconsider Georgia as the home to any new productions. As is always the case, we will work closely with our production partners and talent to determine how and where to shoot any given project.”

Sony commented on the heartbeat law as well.

“As the MPAA has noted, the outcome of the Georgia ‘heartbeat law,’ and similar proposed legislation in other states, will be determined through the legal process,” Sony said. “We will continue to monitor that process in close consultation with our filmmakers and television showrunners, talent and other stakeholders as we consider our future production options.”

Viacom said it expects the legislation to face “significant legal challenges.”

“We are closely monitoring the situation in Georgia and expect the legislation will be subject to significant legal challenges,” Viacom said. “Should the new law ever take effect, we will assess whether we will continue to produce projects in Georgia.”

AMC and CBS Showtime also expressed concerns over the law and mentioned the possibility of reconsidering where they’d take future business.

STX Entertainment CEO Robert Simonds reportedly told employees in an email that relocating STX production would hurt crew members. Although Simonds said STX does not believe the heartbeat bill accurately “represents the will of the people in Georgia,” the company will not be leaving the state.

“After thoughtful consideration about how best to move forward, we feel that relocating production would penalize the hundreds of talented crew members who would abruptly be out of jobs,” Simonds reportedly wrote in an email to employees, according to NBC. “In an effort to aid those on the ground fighting to reverse this legislation, STX will be making a donation to the ACLU of Georgia. Should HB 481 ever officially come into effect, we will reassess filming any future projects in the state.”

Border Patrol Catches 116 Africans at Texas Border

The Border Patrol is seeing an increase in migrants from African countries who are blending in with the large numbers crossing the southern border illegally through Central America.

Agents assigned to at the Del Rio, Texas, sector apprehended 116 individuals last week from African countries as they crossed the border from Mexico.

Those caught around 10:30 p.m. CT May 30 included nationals from Angola, Cameroon, and Congo.

The Del Rio sector encountered 182 large groups with more than 100 individuals during the current fiscal year, which began in  October. But this was the first encounter with African migrants, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the parent agency to the Border Patrol.

“Large groups present a unique challenge for the men and women of the Del Rio Sector,” sector Chief Raul Ortiz said in a prepared statement. “This large group from Africa further demonstrates the complexity and severity of the border security and humanitarian crisis at our southwest border.”

“This is less a result of conditions in Africa and more a result of the dynamics of illegal immigration across the southern border,” Joshua Meservey, senior policy analyst for Africa and the Middle East at The Heritage Foundation, told The Daily Signal.

“I suspect the Africans we are seeing is a result of word circulating that traveling in groups means the odds are better,” Meservey said. “African migration is still far less common into the United States than in Europe.”

Federal laws requiring “catch and release” when an immigrant is accompanied by children have served as a magnet to would-be border crossers, and apprehensions are expected to reach a 12-year high.

Last month, the Border Patrol captured 1,000 illegal immigrants near El Paso, Texas.

“We’ve definitely had people other than Latin American across the world crossing the border,” David Inserra, homeland security analyst for The Heritage Foundation, told The Daily Signal. “Large group tactics have been effective.”

State Banquet: Queen Honours UK-U.S. Alliance, Trump Celebrates Shared Values of ‘Freedom, Sovereignty’

Queen Elizabeth II and U.S. President Donald J Trump have delivered speeches at the Royal Banquet praising the enduring American-British alliance which was forged over 70 years ago during the Second World War.

On Monday evening, President Trump and the First Lady arrived at Buckingham Palace and participated in a procession with the Queen before dining with 170 guests from the political, business, and economic world.

Before dinner commenced, the Queen delivered a speech and offered a toast to President Trump and the First Lady.

Recalling that visits by American presidents always remind her of the “close and long-standing friendship between the UK and the U.S.”, the Queen said she was “so glad” to have “another opportunity to demonstrate the immense importance that both our countries attach to our relationship”.

The President’s State Visit has been timed to coincide with commemorations for the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings, which took place on June 6th, 1944.

The Queen recounted that she had paid her first State Visit to the United States during the presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower, the war-time army general, and said: “In his headquarters in St James’s Square, not far from Buckingham Palace, British and American officers worked closely together to plan the freedom of a continent, and it would be no exaggeration to say that millions of lives depended on their common endeavour.”

Remarking on the two countries’ “strong cultural links and shared heritage” — including the President’s own “particular connection to this country” through his Scottish mother — and economic ties, the Queen said: “Mr President, as we look to the future, I am confident that our common values and shared interests will continue to unite us.

“Tonight, we celebrate an alliance that has helped to ensure the safety and prosperity of both our peoples for decades and which I believe will endure for many years to come.”

The Queen then invited guests to rise and drink a toast to the President and Mrs Trump, “to the continued friendship between our two nations” and to the “health, prosperity, and happiness of the people of the United States” as the U.S. national anthem was played by the orchestra.

After a brief interlude, President Trump replied to Her Majesty the Queen that he and Melania were “profoundly honoured” to be her guests.

He then thanked the Queen for her “warm welcome and beautiful weather” and for Her Majesty’s “nearly seven decades of friendship with the United States of America”.

The President returned to the theme of the D-Day landings, saying:

“This week, we commemorate a mighty endeavour of righteous nations and one of the greatest undertakings of all of history.

“Seventy-five years ago more that 150,000 allied troops were preparing on this island to parachute into France, storm the beaches of Normandy, and win back our civilisation. Your Majesty will remember the British people had hoped and prayed and fought for this day for nearly five years.

“When Britain stood alone during the Blitz in 1940 and 1941, the Nazi war machine dropped thousands of bombs on this country…

“In that dark hour the people of this nation showed the world what it means to be British. They cleared wreckage from the streets, displayed the Union Jack from their shattered homes, and kept fighting on to victory. They only wanted victory.

“The courage of the United Kingdom’s sons and daughters ensured that your destiny would always remain in your own hands.”

President Trump paid tribute to the Queen as a “great, great woman” and also honoured her husband’s, Prince Philip’s, “distinguished and valiant service” in the Royal Navy during the war.

President Trump continued: “This evening, we thank God for the brave sons of the United Kingdom and the United States who defeated the Nazis and the Nazi regime and liberated millions from tyranny. The bond between our nations was forever sealed in that great crusade as we honour our shared victory and heritage.

“We affirm the common values that unite us long into the future: freedom, sovereignty, self-determination, the rule of law, and reverence for the rights given to us by Almighty God,” he said, adding that the Queen represented “a constant symbol of these priceless traditions”.

“She has embodied the spirit of dignity, duty, and patriotism that beats proudly in every British heart. On behalf of all Americans, I offer a toast to the eternal friendship of our people, the vitality of our nations, and to the long-cherished and truly remarkable reign of her Majesty the Queen.”
