James Woods Savages Klobuchar After Reports Surface of Bizarre Interaction with an Aide and a Comb

Actor James Woods had the perfect response to recent reports about Democratic senator and presidential hopeful Amy Klobuchar’s alleged mistreatment of staffers.

“She’s done. Stick a comb, uh, fork in her…,” Woods tweeted Friday about the bizarre “comb” controversy surrounding the Minnesota senator.

Woods’ tweet may seem strange if you’re not yet familiar with the reports about Klobuchar’s mistreatment of staff.

On Friday, The New York Times published a report outlining the alleged “demanding” and “often dehumanizing” treatment of Klobuchar toward her staff.

And, yes, one story did involve a comb.

According to the report, a staffer prepared a salad for Klobuchar to eat during a flight in 2008, but the aide dropped the senator’s fork and was unable to find a new one.

“What happened next was typical: Ms. Klobuchar berated her aide instantly for the slip-up. What happened after that was not: She pulled a comb from her bag and began eating the salad with it, according to four people familiar with the episode,” The Times reported.

That explains Woods’ “stick a comb, uh, fork” comment, but the story gets worse.

“Then she handed the comb to her staff member with a directive: Clean it.”

Imagine how horrified the aide must have been — watching their boss eat a salad with a comb, only to then have to clean it — and that isn’t even the most damning of the reports against Klobuchar.

A separate report published by Buzzfeed News on Feb. 8 alleged that the senator threw a binder at one of her aides.

Klobuchar has only partially denied the claim, telling Fox News she threw a binder “down.”

“If you look at that story, I think you’ll see it said something about me throwing a binder down — not at somebody,” Klobuchar said.

But the report alleges that abuse from the senator happens “daily.”

“She demeaned and berated her staff almost daily, subjecting them to bouts of explosive rage and regular humiliation within the office, according to interviews and dozens of emails reviewed by BuzzFeed News,” the report states.

Obviously, we should always be dubious of anonymous reports, whether they are about Democrats or Republicans, but these are still horribly bad stories for Klobuchar, who is hoping to become the next president in 2020.

Plus, the fact that the senator has the highest annual staff turnover of any member in the Senate, according to a March 2018 report from Politico, doesn’t look particularly good for her either.

As Woods implied in his humorous tweet, these reports could be enough to put a fork — or comb — in Klobuchar’s presidential ambitions.

The actor’s take on Klobuchar hasn’t been the only spot-on political commentary coming from his Twitter feed lately.

Woods was one of the first people to go after Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam last month after his sick comments about allowing babies to be killed after they’re born.

“Watch your interview, pretend you aren’t a lackey for the #DemocratDeathMachine, and imagine the person speaking about killing a newborn isn’t you,” Woods tweeted. “Just some random savage. Would you want that person within a mile of your children? Shame on you. That savage is you, killer.”

Hillary linked to a far left Politico junk report on alleged “foreign actors” who are already working disinformation campaigns against liberal candidates.

Job Creators Network Fires Back at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez with Two More Times Square Billboards

The Job Creators Network fired back at Democratic Rep. (D-NY) Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez with two more billboards in the heart of Times Square, this time roasting the left-wing Democrat after she attacked the group on social media.

“Hey AOC, Saw your wack tweet,” the second 7th Avenue billboard says, which is in response to an Ocasio-Cortez tweet that called JCN “wack.”

Last week, Job Creators Network had a giant billboard erected in Times Square which slammed Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for her role in driving Amazon’s decision to pull out of it announced plan to move it’s new headquarters to New York City.

“25,000 lost NYC jobs, $4 billion in lost wages, $12 billion in lost economic activity for NY — thanks for nothing, AOC!” the first billboard says.

Taking to Twitter, posted a pair of tweeted aimed at JCN.

“Hey AOC, Saw your wack tweet,” the first JCN billboard reads, with another below that says, “Hey AOC, this billboard cost about $4,000. But you cost NY 25,000 jobs and $4,000,000,000 in annual lost wages. Ouch!”

To be clear, Ocasio-Cortez took heat from elected officials in New York on both political parties, including left-wing New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.

“The Amazon pullout is a perfect example of what we’ve been saying: socialism takes and capitalism creates,” said Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO. “The economic consequences of Amazon’s pullout is just a small taste of the harm that is to come if Ocasio-Cortez’s anti-business canon comes to fruition and is made federal policy.”

“The billboard—which is located on 42nd Street near 8th Avenue—will be displayed for one week beginning today and is headlined ‘AMAZON PULLOUT, Thanks For Nothing AOC,’” JCN said last week. “The ad goes on to highlight the economic consequences of Ocasio-Cortez’s actions and ends with the hashtag, #SocialismTakesCapitalismCreates.”

Texas School District Arming Guards with AR-15s to Keep Students Safe

The Texas City, Texas, school district is arming guards with AR-15s in a bid to be the safest school system in the United States.

Fox News reports that the decision to buy AR-15s came after the district hired former Secret Service agent Mike Matranga to oversee “security and school safety.”

Matranga’s plan includes having at least one deputy per school campus in the district. Each of those deputies will have an AR-15. Matranga said, “These are the weapons we purchased for our deputies. I’m a firm believer that we fight firepower with superior firepower.”

The plan for school safety in Texas City also includes facial recognition technology and the ability to track movements of individuals inside the schools. District superintendent Rodney Cavness said, “We’re not playing around. This isn’t some kind of little game to us. We put a lot of time, money, and effort into this.”

Cavness added, “I think we’re living in a sick society, and there are some very deeply troubled people out there that want to do harm to kids and to campuses and to teachers, and we’re not going to let that happen.”

Texas City schools are located a short distance from the site of the May 18, 2018 Santa Fe High School attack. The student who carried out that attack used a shotgun and revolver.

Exclusive — ‘Unplanned’ Filmmakers Explain Surprise R-Rating: ‘We Made a Pro-Life Movie in a Pro-Choice Town’

The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) gave the upcoming abortion movie Unplanned an R-rating Friday, citing “some disturbing, bloody images.” But the movie’s filmmakers fear the rating is motivated by politics.

“We made a pro-life movie in a pro-choice town” said Chuck Konzelman, who along with Cary Solomon wrote and directed Unplanned.

For Solomon, the R-rating smacks of hypocrisy. “The standard used to rate our movie is being applied inconsistently as it relates to bloody images on-screen,” he told me in a phone interview. “In fact, Happy Death Day 2U (a “slasher” film with several violent murder scenes) has far more blood and gore than our film and it received a PG-13 rating.”

Indeed, most R-rated films are labelled as such for featuring sexual scenes, profanity, nudity, or violence — all of which Unplanned has none. The filmmakers had hoped for a PG-13 rating.

The film tells the true-life story of former Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson, who left the abortion giant in 2009 to become a pro-life activist.

Mike Lindell, founder and CEO of My Pillow, invested $1 million to the movie’s production. “I’m pro-life and I’m happy to do it,” Lindell told the Hollywood Reporter.

The filmmakers told me their movie depicts scenes of Johnson, played by actress Ashley Bratcher, bleeding and vomiting on the floor after taking an abortion pill. The MPAA also objected to scenes showing a doctor looking at images of a fetus after an abortion.

The MPAA told Konzelman and Solomon to either cut the abortion scenes or edit them. “The blood is in no way gratuitous,” Konzelman told me. “For us to not include blood in these critical scenes would be to severely cheapen this true story.”

“We have three scenes in the film which directly address abortion, and the MPAA objected to all three,” Solomon said. “They specifically made mention of objection to grainy, black and white sonogram images that were part of one of the scenes. It was clear that any meaningful treatment of the issue was going to be objectionable.”

An MPAA spokesperson said that the film’s distributor, Pure Flix — the studio behind God’s Not Dead — didn’t respond to the organization’s appeals process in a timely manner. Pure Flix president Michael Scott fired back saying, “This story needs to be told and the message needed to be delivered.”

“It is our calling as Christians to tell the story about the moral implications of abortion that the mainstream media refuses to acknowledge,” Scott said.

Pure Flix is charging ahead and plan to release Unplanned with its R-rating.

“Most Americans believe Hollywood’s God is money. No. Their God is a liberal agenda that they serve without fail. And we are anathema to that, Solomon said.

Unplanned opens in theaters everywhere on March 29.

Socialist on a Power Trip – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Claps Back at Critics of Her Radical Green New Deal “I’m the Boss!” (VIDEO)

Communist Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) is on a major ego trip in the wake of the unveiling of her radical Green New Deal.

The 29-year-old lawmaker popped off at the New York Hall of Science on Friday while speaking on a ‘Girls Who Code’ panel.

Ocasio-Cortez sounded like a Socialist dictator (with a Bronx accent) as she reminded the crowd that it’s the radicals who drive the agenda and no one has done what she has in regards to the Green New Deal.

Forget the fact that the Green New Deal is completely absurd on the face it. The resolution calls for the elimination of all airplane travel and would require every building in the US to be “upgraded” to meet the rigors set by the green Communists.

“I’m at least trying and they’re not,” AOC said of her Green New Deal critics. “If you’re trying, you’ve got all the power, you’re driving the agenda, you’re doing all this stuff.”

“Like, I just introduced Green New Deal two weeks ago and it’s creating all of this conversation. Why? Because no one else is even trying — because no one else has even tried!”

AOC clapped back at her critics, “I’m like you try! You do it! Cuz you’re not!” AOC said pointing her finger.

“So until you do it, I’M THE BOSS! How about that?” AOC yelled.

AOC is out of control — she even lectured Americans to eat fewer hamburgers in an interview this week.

James Woods blasted her earlier Saturday after she arrogantly told critics of her Green New Deal to shut up and sit down. “You’re just shouting from the cheap seats,” Ocasio-Cortez said to people who called her out on her radical resolution.

Just like OAN reporter Jack Posobiec said, how long before she puts on a uniform with a dozen medals as she gives long winded lectures?

Venezuelan Troops Open Fire Near Border as Aid Standoff Intensifies

KUMARAKAPAY, Venezuela/CUCUTA, Colombia (Reuters) – Venezuelan soldiers opened fire on members of an indigenous community near the border with Brazil on Friday, killing at least one and injuring others, as President Nicolas Maduro defied U.S.-backed efforts to bring aid into his economically devastated nation.

The United States, which is among dozens of Western nations to recognize opposition leader Juan Guaido as Venezuela’s legitimate president, has been stockpiling aid in the Colombian frontier town of Cucuta to ship across the border this weekend.

With tensions running high after Guaido invoked the constitution to declare an interim presidency last month, Maduro has denied there is a humanitarian crisis in Venezuela despite widespread shortages of food and medicine and hyperinflation.

Maduro, who took power in 2013 and was re-elected in an election last year widely viewed as fraudulent, says opposition efforts to bring in aid are a U.S.-backed "cheap show" to undermine his government.

The socialist president has declared Venezuela’s southern border with Brazil closed and threatened to do the same with the Colombian border ahead of a Saturday deadline by the opposition to bring in humanitarian assistance.

A fundraising concert for Venezuela, backed by British billionaire Richard Branson and featuring major Latin pop stars like Luis Fonsi of "Despacito" fame, attracted tens of thousands in Cucuta on Friday.

Some political analysts say Saturday’s showdown is less about solving Venezuela’s needs and more about testing the military’s loyalty toward Maduro by daring it to turn the aid away.

With inflation running at more than 2 million percent a year and currency controls restricting imports of basic goods, a growing share of the country’s roughly 30 million people is suffering from malnutrition.

Friday’s violence broke out in the village of Kumarakapay in southern Venezuela after an indigenous community stopped a military convoy heading toward the border with Brazil that they believed was attempting to block aid from entering, according to two community leaders.

Soldiers later entered the village and opened fire, killing a woman, Zoraida Rodriguez, and her husband, and injuring several others, the leaders said. Rodriguez’s brother Guillermo Rodriguez later told Reuters that the husband was still alive but in critical condition after being shot in the stomach.

"I stood up to them to back the humanitarian aid," community leader Richard Fernandez told Reuters. "And they came charging at us. They shot innocent people who were in their homes, working."

Venezuela’s Information Ministry did not immediately reply to a request for comment.

The United States said it condemned the killings that have taken place in Venezuela.

"We stand with the victims’ families in demanding justice," a State Department official said.

Meanwhile China, which along with Russia backs Maduro, warned humanitarian aid should not be forced in because doing so could lead to violence.

BLOODSHED ‘NOT IN VAIN’

The bloodshed contrasted with the festive ambiance at Branson’s "Venezuela Aid Live" in Cucuta.

Venezuelan and Colombian attendees, some crying, waved flags and chanted "freedom" under a baking sun as more streamed in to watch the concert.

Artists like Jose Luis "El Puma" Rodríguez, who is from Venezuela, called for the ruling socialist government to step down as fans sang along with him.

"Is it too much to ask for freedom after 20 years of ignominy, of a populist Marxist dictatorship?" the singer said. "To the Venezuelans there, don’t give up, the blood that has been spilled was not in vain".

Guaido has vowed the opposition will bring in foreign aid from neighboring countries on Saturday and called on security forces to disobey Maduro and let supplies into Venezuela.

He set off toward the Colombian border on Thursday in a convoy with opposition lawmakers to oversee the effort.

"You must decide which side you are on in this definitive hour," Guaido wrote on Twitter. "To all the military: between today and tomorrow, you will define how you want to be remembered."

Guaido’s move to assume the interim presidency and international backing has galvanized Venezuela’s opposition, which has vowed to keep protesting until Maduro steps down. It previously staged major protests in 2014 and 2017 that waned in the face of government crackdowns.

Yet some government critics are concerned it will take more than pressure to force Maduro to step down.

"The truth is that not even 10 concerts will make damned Maduro leave office," said Darwin Rendon, one of the 3.4 million Venezuelans to have emigrated since 2015 to find work.

"This regime is difficult to remove," said Rendon, who sends money back to his family in Caracas.

Several countries have sent supplies to the opposition’s collection points in Cucuta, Brazil and Curacao.

Yet the Venezuelan government overnight soldered three shipping containers, which it has been using to block the traffic lanes on the never-used Tienditas road bridge, to the bridge itself, Colombia’s migration agency said on Friday.

Venezuela this week also closed the maritime border with the Dutch Caribbean islands.

Five of those shot earlier on Friday were rushed by ambulance across the border and were being treated at the Roraima General Hospital in the Brazilian frontier city of Boa Vista, a spokesman for the state governor’s office said.

"They all had gunshot wounds. Three were been treated in the surgery center and two in the trauma sector," he said.

House Democrats have asked for a confidential copy of President Trump’s tax returns from the IRS, but obtaining them won’t be simple or fast, Rep. Don Beyer, D-Va., said during an interview on Yahoo News’ “Skullduggery” podcast. Beyer said Democrats will need a “good legal rationale” to request Trump’s financial documents, adding that he believes the questions surrounding Trump’s ties to Russia are sufficient reason to ask for the documents.

Beyer is a member of the powerful House Committee on Ways and Means, which has the power to obtain a copy of President Trump’s tax returns thanks to an obscure law that’s almost a century old.

Trump’s tax returns have been something of a holy grail for Democrats who have consistently requested the release of the documents, particularly given the questions surrounding foreign business dealings at Trump’s sprawling real estate company. Beyer predicted that his committee will ultimately be able to get their hands on Trump’s elusive financial documents. But he explained that there are several obstacles to the process.

Venezuelan security forces open fire on protesters demanding food (Update: Internet shut off)

The NY Times reports that tensions along Venezuela’s border have escalated to the point that government security forces opened fire on protesters, killing at least two people. The battle between the government and protesters is over food. The U.S. and other countries have sent aid to the border. Juan Guaidó has said he wants to get that food aid across the border and into the hands of starving people but Nicolas Maduro’s has ordered his security forces to block the border crossings and reportedly threatened truck drivers about bringing the food across the border.

Venezuelan opposition leaders and their allies in Brazil were scrambling on Friday to find trucks and drivers to transport 500 kits of food and medicine that they hope to get across the border on Saturday.

María Teresa Belandria, an opposition leader who serves as Mr. Guaidó’s envoy to Brazil, said in an interview that some of the drivers that they hoped to enlist for the plan had been held back by the armed forces in Venezuela. Others, who are already in Brazil, have been threatened by allies of Mr. Maduro with arrest, she said.

“It’s been very hard to line up the trucks,” said Ms. Belandria. “We’re coming up with a contingency plan.”

Things came to a head early this morning when a group of Venezuelans attempted to block the path of Maduro’s forces as they were headed to the border with Brazil. The security forces were there to block the flow of food aid:

At least two civilians were killed and more than a dozen wounded in the confrontation with security forces in the Gran Sabana area, along Venezuela’s southeast border with Brazil, according to Américo de Grazia, an opposition lawmaker from the state of Bolívar. The Gran Sabana area is inhabited by the Pemón, an indigenous community…

Ricardo Delgado, a Pemón leader, said the tensions that led to the confrontation began in the predawn hours when a convoy from the Army and the National Guard attempted to reach a checkpoint on the border to help protect it. A group of indigenous protesters blocked their passage, because they want the aid to come in.

Mr. Delgado said he told convoy officers that they could not pass, and they left. But hours later, he said, the convoy returned, this time shooting at the indigenous group blocking the streets.

Maduro has said he’s refusing the food aid because Venezuelans are not “beggars.” According to the Times, the protesters seen in this video are singing, “They are killing us with hunger.”

Notice these men had to be taken to hospitals in Brazil. Today, Maduro posted this absurd propaganda video with text that reads, “We are making every effort to make the national public health system not stop and rise to the highest level in the world. A human effort that is only possible with the Bolivarian Revolution. Love with Love is paid!”

In reality, CNN reported back in 2016 that children were dying in Venezuelan hospitals from a lack of medical supplies. The AP reported about a 3-year-old girl who spent two months in a disgusting hospital overrun with roaches and wild dogs after she scraped her knee. The shortages of food and medicine are so severe that millions of Venezuelans have already fled the country and millions more have struggled to survive what has been called “the Maduro diet.”

Despite this, there are still a number of wealthy socialists demanding that the U.S. stop interfering in Venezuela. Just yesterday, socialist Bernie Sanders who never met a left-wing dictator he didn’t like, refused to call Maduro a dictator.

Today, just across the border with Colombia, a benefit concert is taking place. The concert was arranged by billionaire Richard Branson in an attempt to put a spotlight on the Venezuelan crisis. From the AP:

A benefit concert on the Colombian border with Venezuela has kicked off with an artist singing a song about her personal struggles as a migrant.

Strumming her ukulele, Reymar Perdomo on Friday sang “I Left,” which has become the unofficial anthem of Venezuelans fleeing their country’s economic and political crisis.

Near where the concert is taking place, the U.S. has already delivered 200 tons of food aid. The question now is whether Juan Guaidó can get that across the border or if Maduro’s troops will succeed in forcing people to continue starving for the good of the Bolivarian Revolution. At some point soon, the rank and file police and soldiers are going to have to say enough is enough and defy their commanders.

Update: Apparently Venezuela has cut off “the entire internet” to prevent people from watching the concert.

The gay man was living with his boyfriend at the center. When the man sat at the wrong table in the dining hall at least 10 Afghan migrants beat the gay man with fists, tables and chairs.

The staff was forced to rescue the gay man who was being hit with chairs as he lay on the floor.

Nyheteridag reported, via Religion of Peace (translated):

The gay man lived with his boyfriend at the asylum home Westsura manor, which was LGBTQ certified by RFSL and had a special department for LGBTQ people, some twenty individuals who lived in their own barracks but who shared dining with other residents. It was in the dining room that a conflict arose about where the man and his boyfriend were allowed to sit, which led to the man being jumped by about fifteen Afghans who joined him with fists.

– It’s like twenty rockets were lit. The entire dining room was coming. They charge over tables and chairs. It was like a rush to him. Their only goal was NN, they attacked no one else. They lacked him, one of the staff in questioning tells.

According to the staff’s directives, they would back in situations like this, but when chairs began to be used to beat the man who was now lying on the floor, they defied the regulations and managed to get rid of the injured man. After the incident, the Swedish Migration Board was forced to hire a security company for ten days to maintain the order of the accommodation.
